So I was reading through your blog and I saw someone sent an ask about not being able to orgasm, and you said it as anorgasmia and to talk to a doctor- do you have any advice for actually *doing* that?

My doctor has been seeing me since I was like 14 (im 19, soon 20 now), and I know its her job to hear actual medical concerns but it feels really weird and awkard to bring it up to her

Well, you don't have to talk to a doctor. I said talking to a doctor might help if it bothers you. Not everyone wants to be able to orgasm or is bothered by not being able to orgasm, so it's very much an individual preference situation.

I understand how that would be awkward! My best advice would be that if you feel like it's too awkward to say it aloud, write it out and/or have someone with you who will help.

Or if your doctor has a nurse who you call when you schedule an appointment, you can ask the nurse about letting your doctor know what the appointment is for.

Regardless, I'd suggest writing down how you're struggling and the main questions you have before the appointment because that'll make sure you can remember them and if you can't say them out loud, simply pass your doctor whatever you wrote it down on.

You can also just go see another doctor if you have access but obviously that's not always possible.

There's a good likelihood it'll be awkward regardless because this is your first time discussing this with a professional and its quite a personal issue but it's worth going through some awkwardness if you really want to see what your options are.

Drift, Optimus Prime, and LOVE

Everyone who has followed this blog for at least a year knows that I ship Drift and Optimus Prime for several (kinda silly) reasons. Namely:

They look hot together (thick thighs squad)

A crystal/horoscope/pagan girlie and an atheist pope. (Oversimplification but funny as fuck)

Deadlock domming/getting dommed by Optimus Prime? Sign me the fuck up.

But.

But I totally overlooked the fact that I have CANON material backing me up. Ohohoho let me get my sources.

Lil disclaimer: I have a love/hate relationship with the first idw run. I don't know which one is stronger tbf. Even if I don't agree with several plot points I'm going to discuss I can still see how they [intentionally or not] formed a bugger picture that serves my purposes. It's a bit of cherry picking if I have to be honest, but I don't feel too guilty looking at all the retcons this series had to begin with.

Why am I saying this? Because Drift as a character is one of the things I both love and hate for the way he was handled as a whole, but I won't go into details because it's not necessary and because I have already seen people on this site articulate this better than I could. The same thing applies to Ratchet, but that is another can of worms, and I am not willing to open it now.

So:

Drift: He comes from Rodion, where he is homeless and is found in a state of confusion by Orion Pax that saved him from Sonic and Boom (these fucking names 💀) and was then brought from HIM to Ratchet's underground clinic.

At this point I was full on rambling in the server becasue:

So to tidy up all that here's what I was hinting at:

Ratchet and his words sure were the initial push that Drift needed to get his life back "together"(as much as one can during a war, but you understand what I'm saying) were it not for Orion Pax's choices he wouldn't be here at all.

Orion Pax saved a mech from two thugs, someone completely out of their wits in that moment, a complete stranger. He had done his job, thugs were dealt with and then he could either arrest Drift (don't quote me on that but I am pretty sure whatever circuit booster he was on was not legal/legally obtained) ergo. Drift would die.

Or take him to a normal hospital, so either Drift died or he would later have troubles with the law, or whatever way the system could further fuck him up. Either way Drift does NOT meet Ratchet.

But Orion Pax took Drift's lufe in his hands and brought him to Ratchet. So he ensured that he had both a good doctor and someone he KNEW and trusted AND that Drift would not suffer more than he already did.

So- Ratchet is sure Drift's [hero/important person/insert better word here*] because he was the doctor that saved him from a fatal overdose and that told him he was special and all that.

But ORION PAX hauled him up and made sure he would live in the first place. And I Will come back to this point later to expand on it. Remember it.

So you see the sentence "what if not the love for life itself of Orion Pax saved Drift?"

This is what then promoted another ramble about a scene I wanted to put in another fic and then about idw OP so... I will ignore the part regarding my wip because it's not too relevant and juno to the idw op part:

To explain how I came to this it's because I was imagining a scene in which Optimus Prime sees Drift and Ratchet and then had a convo with Drift.

And to further prive my point Drift is one of the several statements of LOVE from Op/Orion.

Every action in the comics is driven by an enormous amount of love underneath. The love for "freedom, those he cares about, those that are weaker, those that cannot fend for themselves end even for his enemies and their battles"

Now you can say these are all different kinds of "love" and yet Orion Pax and Optimus Prime both love ardently. His anger and guilt DO come from their love! Ffs it's right there abfjgjg.

Now i went on a rant about Megatron and how he benefits from Optimus' love

That inspired part of the entire thing about love and the part about Megatron and fear.

So to go back to my original statement about Optimus Prime and Drift.

Optimus Prime is really a teagic character and I was getting a bit teary thinking about him if I have to be honest. He sacrificed so much and got such little payoff, even speaking of meta.

All the good things that came from his action, well he is able to witness a very small percentage of them. All the goodbyes and the people he cared for were denied to him.

Drift. Drift exists thanks to Orion's love. Drift met the love of his life, he met his friends, he found reasons to live, and found himself and yet...

Optimus Prime was never able to see Ratchet and Drift together. His best friend and a mech he saved so long ago happy and together.

As I said above, the price Optimus Prime/Orion Pax paid for the love of life itself he felt so strongly was all of himself... just so others could love.

Age: I am gonna go 13-17? Teenage for sure.

Species: Half Senri, Half Human

Nicknames: Hana, Miki,

Abilities:

Glamour: She can hide her ears, tail, and fangs. (No claws). However when at home she prefers to keep them seeable or whatever it's called because it makes her feel connected to her mother

Heightened sense: Heightened Hearing, about 3x better than a human. Slightly heightened sense of smell (1x). Eye sight is 2x better than the average human and she can see in the dark. She moves 3x faster than the average human. Along with flexibility

Shapeshifting: Although her mother can fully shift into a cat (I believe, based on my research-) she can do that in part. Like a werewolf type idea? But with cats.

Personality:

She is a very shy and nervous girl. From a young age understanding that if you keep Father happy, mother doesn't get hurt. She has always been curious about the golden artifact around her mother's forehead, however she stopped asking questions about it when she saw first hand why it was there. At 10 she finally understood (in part) what the dynamic between her parents was. Syaoran was in control, Yue acted out, soon she was screaming for it to stop. Hana rarely acted out in fear that either she would get an artifact on her, or that Syaoran would use it on her mother to punish Hana.

She is a daddy's girl, but not out of love. She does love both her parents, just assuming the constant abuse of power on Syaorans part was normal in all families, but the reason she is a daddy's girl is out of the fear she holds for him.

Backstory:

When Syaoran found out about Yues other children, it was only normal for him to have wanted his own with Yue, Yue was his after all.

When Hana was young she was very curious, leaping onto counters and bringing her mother random things she found. Like the water bottles, or maybe a fork, maybe her father's glasses! But eventually She did have to spend time with her father, growing up with having to always stand straight. Not even she could see through her father's charming act, so she never quite understood why Yue always glared at him with such hate. For a while she would copy her mother's glare, but after a few minutes of talking with her father, she was quick to beg for his forgiveness.

She was easily gaslighted into believing anything her father said. So when Yue suddenly disappeared (assuming she would be able to escape at some point) she held onto the hope that her mother hadn't left her for a few hours, but Syaoran was quick to convince her into the idea that Yue had left Hana to be with her other family, because Yue didn't love Hana and Hana wasn't a good enough child.

Despite this, Hana could never bring herself to truly hate her mother, just hoping that one day she would come back and they could all be one happy family again.

Extra:

Further ideas I have for Hana, she knows nothing but a toxic father. So if her father were to even allow her to have a partner (which the chances of that are low assuming that Syaoran would be just as possessive of Hana as he was Yue) she would only find a toxic partner normal, one that controls her every move.

If possible, Maybe macaque and Yue will adopt her once they remove Syaoran from the picture. Initially, Hana would be very avoidant of everyone, but her mother would be the first she would warm up too. Then macaque, enjoying how... Mellowed he was. Just quite and not over bearing. Then the rest of the family.

However in the end after a minimum of 15 years of loving her father unconditionally, it will be difficult for her to just give up seeing him completely. Which could result in her being stupid and getting herself stuck with him again even after having accepted the others as family.

I think you mentioned in one of your posts that instead of expecting your 3D surroundings to change you should focus on aligning your thoughts with your DR because awareness shifts first. But how exactly do you do that? How do you think as your DR self when you've never actually experienced being them before? I feel like it's even harder to embody your DR self when you're shifting to a waiting room because not much is going on there. Any advice?

i (cr self) do not think as my dr self.

i feel like there is a distinction to be made with the phrase "embodying your DR self" as that can be took to mean pretending to be them, which in my opinion and experience, you don't have to do. some people like to embody their DR self, some people like to pretend or act like their DR self, that's cool and i support them and whatever method that works for them. if it's not working or making sense to you, here's a different perspective:

your goal (probably) isn't to be your CR self pretending to be your DR self, or pretending that you're in your DR. your goal is for your awareness to shift from this reality, to your desired reality, and you naturally are your DR self there. you do not have to pretend to be your DR self. your CR self will never be your DR self, your CR self (brain, thoughts, and body) is staying here, in CR. your DR self is already in your DR (brain, thoughts, body) and has no need to pretend to be there, because they are there. i know i'm using the third person there for understandability, but that's you. anyways, you just have to shift your awareness (ie your perspective?) from here to there.

obviously this is just me personally, but when i shift i do not have to pretend to be my DR self at any stage of the process. my CR self does not embody my DR self, nor does my CR self think as my DR self. the process (for me) goes like this:

i am in my CR, and i want to shift. i get into whatever environment or pose i want my CR body in when i shift away (because ill shift back to that moment and i have preferences for that, but you do you!)

i get into a state i am comfortable shifting from, one which heightens the ability to trigger a shift. this used to be a long process and almost always involved pure awareness, but now im comfortable shifting from destabilized awareness, or relaxed meditation.

while in the state, i (my CR self) start thinking about my DR, and visualizing my DR. i'm not pretending to be my DR self, i'm just thinking about it. at this stage, i'm not thinking as my DR self, i'm thinking about my DR self.

at some point, i am triggered to shift. my awareness shifts first, and my thoughts naturally transition from CR self thoughts, to DR self thoughts, and i usually don't notice at all until looking back on it.

now, here's the bit everybody is waiting for, then i notice the 3D changes. think of the way humans wake up, your brain "onlines" your awareness and then your awareness starts perceiving the 3D as fully as it can from the data sent to your brain by your nerves and all that. for me, sometimes it's a quick succession from my awareness shifting to being fully 3D, with no other hoopla. sometimes it feels like a slight "pulling inwards" sensation, sometimes it doesn't. sometimes i feel there's a stretch, where i'm partially aware of CR and DR, sometimes there isn't. maybe it will feel different for you.

It takes the woman a full two minutes and half to take him to the shore. And once both of them were on their feet, he pushes his savior away (she falls on her butt and again that’s none of Yoongi’s business) and focuses on nursing the pain that’s currently splitting his scalp in half. 

“Hey you! I just saved you and this is what I get in return!” he can hear shock and disappointment in the voice but he has his own demons to tame. 

If he could he would have buried his head in the sand now but that’s for another day. 

“Did I ask you to save me?” He finally stands straight, opens his eyes and faces the woman behind destroying his escape. 

The woman, you, are rather small but you certainly exhibit extreme power despite your small frame. 

You have a small face - a beautiful one, big eyes, full lips - if Yoongi wasn’t mourning his greatest loss today, he would have fallen for you right here and now. 

You grasp upon having a clear look at his face. Rubbing your eyes once you straighten your posture and face him with a jaw hanging ajar. 

“Y-your hi-highness.” you grasp. Yoongi realizes the ocean water hasn’t wiped out his identity just the way he would have liked. 

“I am sorry… to intrude on whatever business you had in the ocean. Please, spare me from execution.” your voice trembles as you bow deeply. 

Yoongi laughs. For the first time in a week (or maybe months) he laughs genuinely, from the core of his heart. 

“You were right. I was trying to die. And don’t worry. I won’t have you executed for saving my life.” Somehow his words are less heavy now. He feels light. Maybe it’s the ocean or maybe it’s the presence of a stranger - you. 

But he regrets it. As soon as his words are out of his mouth - a confirmation that can make national news, can put his eligibility for the crown under scrutiny - he regrets. 

He expects you to appear shocked, grasp, fall on his knees and tell him not to die like an average person but do none of it. 

You laugh, as breezy as the ocean air. Yoongi stares shamelessly. 

“All of us want to die at a point in life. It’s alright. But you know what - you are too young. If wikipedia is right then you are twenty-one now. Try again in five or so years. Maybe it will be worth dying then?” Your speech fills the gap of Yoongi’s wit that he didn’t know he had. 

“I guess.” he murmurs, as he keeps staring at you.

I was recently alerted to this post, and it surprised me so much that I am logging back into my tumblr after years of inactivity to make a response.

If you are interested in mori fashion, please DO NOT use this post a reference on mori or its origins. I'll address the issues here point by point.

Mori DOES NOT come from Lolita. Such a claim is incredibly incorrect. Mori was created independently by a group of people who wore a similar style and wanted to put a name to it. They had a mixi group (like facebook in Japan) and one person in the group, Choco, named the style. (One could say that mori was influenced by Lolita, in the same way many modern j-fashions are somewhat influenced by Lolita, but it was absolutely not created from it.)

Mori Lolita does exist, but was created internationally and was not a term used in Japan at all. Instead, a term called Natural Lolita was used. So again, this is blatantly wrong.

Mori gyaru does also exist, but was a spinoff FROM mori fashion directly. The term is complex, and the style had many, many names. And it never actually took off in Japan, although it was mentioned in a few magazines. It was a short-lived microstyle based on mori's popularity, and gyaru's popularity, at the time. Mori DID NOT come from mori gyaru.

Additionally, gyaru is it's own style with separate roots from Lolita. To say the two are connected in the way this article implies is also wrong.

The subtypes mentioned here are not accurate at all. Although people have independently categorized their outfits as "white," "dark," "classic," and so on, these are not official terms. And they have never been used in Japan. I believe this author may be super-imposing Lolita terms onto mori? Or some other j-fashion's terms? I've been in the mori community for over 10 years now, and I have never heard those terms either in international or Japanese communities. Either way, mori is mori. You can wear whatever version you like and call it whatever you want for fun, but there are no "official" substyles.

If someone were to categorize mori "substyles" however, the most common related terms internationally are Yama Kei, Hama Kei, and Dark Mori. (Each of these has its own unique history I won't get into here.) None of these are mentioned.

Additionally, Mori Kei is a term that is mainly internationally. Mori in Japan is almost always referred to as 森ガール. By the time it took off internationally and more inclusive terms were being used, mori was basically dead in Japan. This is why if you search for 森ケイ・森系 in Japanese you will basically only find articles and information from recent years, as this was not a term originally widespread in the actual community.

The one thing this article does do correctly is it's description of mori, alongside the images. Those are accurate to the fashion. However, that description is incredibly brief.

We need more engagement in this fandom!

So, as the title says, because I was thinking about this - I love this manga with all my heart as you very well know, and the main reason I started translating is because I wanted more engagement in the fandom, which was pretty much dead. Well, it still kind of is, which brings me here lol

I tried to keep this blog translations only to keep everything more in order and make it easy to find the various chapters and all, and I kept all my theories and ramblings either in the tags or on my main blog, except for the times I got asks.

But I would love for this fandom to be more active! I wanna talk about theories and headcanons and ships and all that! I want this fandom to start living again :')

So I was wondering - would you people like it if I started also posting about that kind of stuff? Reblogging fanarts, posts, fanfics or whatever I see around? Would you like to engage more in the fandom? I'm asking because: 1) maybe you'd prefer it if this blog stays translations only, kinda like an archive; 2) maybe there aren't many people who actually wants to engage in fandom activities anyway lmao

Not enough people post in tags anymore... especially in small fandoms. You do not have to post high quality series analysis or reviews or gifs or anything big to join the fun.

Just blast your thoughts and share the best / funniest / most insane moments in your opinion like it's a pretty stone you found at the beach.

No srsly, sometimes the best posts are those with wild ass theories, random commentary, silly memes or just aesthetic posts or favorite screenshots. Cool links or fandom content found outside of tumblr.

Also especially for the QL fandom... little pet peeve. Somehow QL fandom visual posts kind of boiled down to just kiss or NC or maybe cute scenes. Often I read especially gifers that they don't find something to gif in an episode when there is not much romance or erotic going on. But imo often there ere still so many other cool scenes. Like action scenes, insane emotional scenes, any cool or clever shots and especially funny scenes. I wish to see some more in the QL fandom tags besides the kisses and NC and fluff. (ye I know I want to learn to gif too... still on my list. 3D class is eating most of my time and energy atm)

But long story short: get some more movement in the tags, even if they aren't as popular as others. Small fandoms are neat too.
