Summer
✶ pairing: katsuki bakugou x reader
✶ warnings: cursing, this gets a little risque
✶ a/n: this is loosely based off of j. cole’s song wet dreamz. also, this is told through bakugou’s perspective as well as the readers.
(the title is basic and boring i’m sorry i’ll probably change it later)
due to the nature of this story, everyone is 18+
—
You arrived in the summer. The suffocating, stifling summer. You brought fireworks and festivals, cold tea and noodles, and green tea ice cream. Bakugou can’t remember a time without you. He can’t remember you not consuming his every thought.
He can’t remember not wanting.
——
Japan is much hotter than you expected.
You’ve only been walking for a few minutes, and you can already feel sweat collecting on the back of your neck. The weight of your backpacks seems to grow by the second, and the tights you’re supposed to be wearing have been long abandoned.
As the colossal structure of the school comes into view, you nearly pinch yourself. Standing on the sidewalk with the sun beating down on your head, the realization that you’re officially a student at the best hero school in the country finally hits you. But your giddiness quickly turns into worry as you remember that the second semester is well underway, and you’re months behind your classmates.
Shuffling through the school gates, you quickly make your way to a large tree blossoming with soft pink flowers. If you’re not mistaken, a guide is supposed to meet you here and show you around the school.
You wait patiently for what seems like hours, until the urge to abandon your spot and find your own way around becomes almost overwhelming.
‘Some tour guide.’ You think, ‘Leaving me alone for-‘
“Hellooo, new student! Sorry I’m late!” A booming and rather cheerful voice rings out, causing you to jolt in surprise.
Glancing over, you’re met with a tall and strapping young man. As he’s moving, his blonde hair seems to bounce along with him. He quickly extends a scar-riddled hand, and you gently shake it.
“I’m Mirio! You must be Y/N!” He says cheerily. You can’t help but find his optimism infectious, and all of your annoyance dissipates with his pearly smile.
You nod, returning his grin as he begins to usher you into the school.
“I’m afraid we don’t have time for an in-depth tour, so I’ll try to make this quick.” He walks with vigor, and you struggle to keep up with his long-legged stride. “You already know that U.A. is the top hero school in Japan, and you must know that you start at a disadvantage. Your class is made up of intelligent students with powerful quirks. If you want to catch up to them, you’re going to have to be ready to work.” Mirio concludes. You gulp as you realize that you’re already standing in front of your classroom.
“Here we are. Good luck, Y/N!” Mirio waves, sending you another smile.
You open your mouth to utter a goodbye, but his back is already turned as he briskly walks away.
The entrance becomes even more imposing as you stand there alone.
——
Bakugou isn’t paying attention.
Class hasn’t exactly started yet, and he’s managed to tune out the chatter of his classmates. He’s picked up bits and pieces of various conversations. Mina has been going on and on about some new student.
Bakugou doesn’t care about a new classmate. They’ll just be another dumb extra to get in his way. He sighs, leaning back in his chair. There’s only a minute until class starts.
‘Great. Now these idiots will finally shut up.’
The bell rings, and right on cue, Aizawa reluctantly unzips himself from his sleeping bag.
“Morning, class,” He grumbles, still half asleep. “Today is review day, and we should be getting a new student, if they ever decide to show up.”
Some students whisper excitedly, curiosity getting the better of them.
And Bakugou still doesn’t care.
His indifference, however, comes to a halt as the door slides open.
When you walk in.
The whispering dies down, and Bakugou can feel his heart stop.
You’re beautiful in a way that Bakugou is unaccustomed to. You have warm eyes and a shy smile, and he watches as you sweep your glossy hair carelessly over your shoulders. He catches himself and scoffs silently, turning back to face the board.
“This, it appears, is our new student, L/N F/N. There’s an empty desk right over there.” Aizawa yawns.
The girls begin to chatter excitedly once again, happy for a new addition to their group. Most of the boys, however, are silent, eyes trained on the new girl’s long legs and swishing skirt. Bakugou swears even Todoroki’s gaze is on you.
He doesn’t like that.
——
You can feel everyone’s intense stares, and you tug down your skirt. Your desk is awkwardly situated by a large window, directly next to a spiky-haired boy. His crimson gaze is the most intense, but he remains silent, cheeks slightly colored.
You take a seat, glancing at him from the corner of your eye. His arms are folded over his chest, broad shoulders squared. His face is twisted into a scowl, eyes trained on whatever the teacher is writing.
‘He’s pretty cute, actually. I don’t even know his name.’
Something about him intrigues you. As Aizawa continues to teach, you muse silently, thinking of ways to introduce yourself. Finally, an idea, albeit, a rather simple one, comes to mind. You carefully tear a piece of notebook paper, scribbling on it with your favorite pen.
Hi! I’m Y/N!
Once you’re sure Aizawa isn’t looking, you quickly toss a scrap of paper onto his desk. He looks confused at first, unfurling it with wary hands. The confusion soon morphs into what seems like annoyance. After a few seconds, he reluctantly scrawls a response.
I know that, dipshit.
You giggle quietly at his abrasive response, which is not the reaction that Bakugou was expecting.
What’s your name?
Bakugou.
Like, a bomb?
What else would it mean, dumbass?
What’s your quirk then?
I make explosions.
You respond with a poorly drawn doodle of explosions spouting from his hands. When Bakugou unfurls it, his lips quirk into an almost imperceptible smile. This small action seems to catch the attention of Aizawa, who barely glances at Bakugou before speaking loudly.
“If you’re going to flirt with the new girl, do it on your own time, Bakugou, but I’d advise you not to waste mine.”
Bakugou’s face flushes, the scowl returning to his face at the chorus of laughter from his classmates.
“Tch, whatever.”
——
“Hey, Bakugou! Wait up!” Bakugou turns around, catching sight of you bouncing towards him.
You continue to surprise him.
He’s only known you for a month, and he figured by now, his poor attitude would have driven you off. Your continuous note passing and silly questions persisted, but Bakugou preferred to keep his replies curt and short. He doesn’t need any distractions, and that’s all you are.
Right?
Still, Bakugou finds himself slowing down to allow you to catch up.
“You could’ve stopped sooner, you know...”
Bakugou doesn’t reply. He’s noticed that you always leave the top few buttons of your shirt loose, and he’s too busy watching your chest rise and fall.
You don’t seem to notice his staring, and you continue to ramble about your day as if he wasn’t watching you the entire time. He stopped listening a while ago, too transfixed on the way your lips shine in the dwindling sunlight.
He’s almost angry at you. You’re all he can think about anymore. He even finds himself daydreaming about you, of all things. It started off so innocently. He would muse about what type of perfume you wear, what your delicate hand would feel like against his calloused one.
But those thoughts didn’t stay innocent forever.
Nowadays, he can’t stop himself from imagining what your body would look like writhing in his sheets. How you would feel coiled around him, how your cherry lipgloss would look smeared all over his neck.
Bakugou snaps his glance away from you. “Whatever, I have to go,” He says, keeping his tone clipped.
“Oh, okay!” You say, disappointment seeping into your voice.
But Bakugou’s already gone.
Because he’s realized that he does care, maybe a little too much.

I’d like to share a nice writing story with you.
So I haven’t posted any of my own work on here, but I’m in a creative writing class where we exchange stories/poems and workshop them together. Since it’s part of our grade to critique our classmates’ works, we generally receive some form of feedback. And even the briefest of comments - a smiley face, or underlining of a sentence that the reader liked - makes me smile. (Whereas the reader who goes above and beyond the grade by commenting with full paragraphs and mini-essays makes me jump up and down with glee because they’re so amazing.)
But you know, as much as I enjoy the critiques I get, part of me understands that most of the readers are only critiquing for a grade. That’s not a bad thing - I know that I’ve done the same in the past, even if I try not to. So the responses can feel a little forced at times.
Today, however, something different happened!
I was going through the marked-up copies of my story after class, and I saw that someone had doodled one of my characters next to a paragraph describing them.
And? I just? I couldn’t comprehend it.
Someone had taken the time to respond to my story, in a way that wasn’t necessary for a good grade. They didn’t have to do it. Even if it only took up a minute of their time, that’s one extra minute that they chose to spend on my story.
And it made my day. Period. I’m still so excited about it; I’ve been showing all of my friends the little doodle, and I’m probably going to show my family when I get home tonight. I’ve never had someone draw something for me before, free of charge, just because they liked my story or felt inspired by it. It’s an amazing feeling.
I know that this has been said before, but writers love reader responses. Writers appreciate every like/reblog/kudo/whatever button you press to show you liked it, but we ADORE when readers go beyond that. Even if it’s a simple “Nice!” or “I love this!”, writers pore over those comments and smile to themselves. And, oh boy, if you write a in-depth review - about your favorite parts, what you want to see more of, what lines you read again and again - I swear, if I could frame them all I would. Or if you draw fanart - yeah, that’s amazing too. I don’t care if you can’t draw and you think your art looks more like a misshapen potato than a person - I will frame it. I will show it off to everybody and be so excited that you cared enough to do this for me. And I would bet, 100%, that other writers feel the same way.
We love interacting with our readers. We love seeing what you think and what you laughed at, what you cried at, what part you yelled at the characters for their stupidity. We want to know what you loved and what you hated. We want to know your favorite characters and your least favorite parts.
Yes, you heard me. I want to know what you hated. I want to know what made you go ‘meh.’ I want to know what parts I need to work on. I might not like or agree with it at first - it’s the gut reaction when being criticized to shy away from the criticism - but there’s a reason the reader didn’t like that part or that character. Maybe they didn’t understand enough to make the scene or the character important to them. Maybe there wasn’t enough set-up, or investment in the character. Maybe that part was boring. Maybe that part or character just wasn’t necessary. But I want to figure out why the reader didn’t understand or found it boring, and make it better. So that it can become a part the reader loved.
So, yes, tell the author what you loved and what you hated. Get really passionate about it. Write them essays about why you love this character or this scene. Use all of the “aaa”s and “gah”s and “OH MY GOD WHY DID THEY DO THAT” you want. Draw them fanart. Interact with them. Even if you’re too shy to say more than, “nice job,” or “I love this story,” I promise you, the writer will smile and be happy.
Anyway, I guess this is all to say: fanart is amazing. Reader comments are amazing. Readers are awesome, no matter how they express themselves.

The List (Part One)
A/n: OH MY GOODNESS I AM SO SORRY! This ended up being very personal (tbh it should just be called Why G has anxiety) all italics are flashbacks. Also, this is written differently than the other fics I’ve written, so I hope you like it! -G
Pairing: Loki x Reader
Warnings: Mentions of self-hate, anxiety, swearing?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was strange, going through her things without her there. He would've asked permission but he couldn't. She'd been gone for a month or so, and the god hated to admit it but he missed her, and he needed something to remind him of her. So he started going through some boxes in their shared closet. After finding an old report card, Loki figured that he was digging through the girls old school books. Pulling out a few notebooks he leafed through the pages of old writing. Stories she wrote as a child and something about a land for zebras to live happily. The god chuckled when he found an old photo of her on, what appeared to be, her first day of school. Her hands gripped the straps of her bag tightly, and she was giving the camera a large, toothy smile.
He continued to flip through the notebooks finding that the stories began to gain more depth and the writing became neater. He examined the girl's notes in history and the comments she made on her teacher.
“This unit would be so much better if we actually got to learn about mythology" he read “not like Mr. V would know shit about that either the only thing he knows about Vikings is the football team.”
Loki smiled again, he somehow always forgot that she enjoyed the bedtime stories told about him.
He continued to smile as he read on about the horrible Mr. V and how this man somehow made her hate history class more than math. Her hatred for her teacher became more apparent as there were fewer notes and more doodles covering the lined paper. His smile didn't fade until he flipped through a few empty pages finding one that was full among them.
“Things That Bother Me” he read. Her handwriting had matured again, and it was as if he was reading a poem she'd written him yesterday.
The way I look
The god was confused, the two of them had been dating for about a month. He figured that was a miracle on its own, but she seemed to be growing distant.
“Is everything alright?” he asked her one night
“Yeah,” she shrugged “everything is fine. Why?”
“You just seem,” Loki paused looking for the right words “different,”
Her face grew pale, and she looked down at her lap “I'm alright,” she stated
“Are you trying to convince me or yourself?” he asked
“I dunno,” she sighed “I just, why me?” “What do you mean why you?” the trickster questioned
“Why did you choose me?” you asked “There are far better-looking women in the world and you picked me,”
“Darling, the way I see it, you are the most beautiful woman on this planet,” he assured her
“Thanks,” she smiled weakly
Loki sighed “Who made you think you weren’t beautiful.”
She shrugged again “I dunno, me I guess,”
“Well you are unbelievable,” he said, “and you have the best ass in all the nine realms.”
She chuckled “I knew you were only here for my butt,”
“That amongst other things,” the god’s eyes darkened
“Do tell,” she smirked
Loki’s mind raced with the memories of that night. Thinking back it was the first time she’d opened up to him, the first time her anxiety had leaked through the shield she put up around herself.
2. I’m talentless
Loki frowned, how could she think she was talentless? She had done so many amazing things.
The trickster peered over her shoulder trying to see what was drawn out on the pad in front of her. It looked like a bunch of shapes to him, but she’d gone through several papers.
“What are you doing?” he asked sitting next to her on the sofa
“Nothing,” she replied making wild movements with her hand on the paper
“What are these?” he questioned uncrumpling the papers next to him
“Aren’t you just full of questions?” she said taking the papers from him
“I’m just curious,” he responded sneaking a piece of paper away and hastily unfolding it “that’s me,”
“It’s not good,” she said
“It’s amazing,” he responded
She narrowed her eyes “I’ve seen better,”
“Well, I like it,” Loki confessed, “maybe I’ll show Thor?”
“You wouldn’t dare,” she said “not that one,”
“There are others?” he questioned
“What do you think I’m working on right now?” she said
It took a few hours, but that was the last paper she used that night. A day or so later Loki saw her sitting on the sofa with a blank page in front of her.
“Did you finish the last one?” he asked
“Kinda,” she said “I don’t really like it,”
“Do you ever?” he questioned taking the pad from her and flipping to the picture. It was one of the best drawings he’d seen. It was as if he was staring at a picture she’d taken
“What don’t you like?” he asked
“The shading is all wrong” she responded
“I see,” he replied carefully removing the picture from the pad
“What are you doing?” she questioned taking the pad away from him
“I’m taking this,” he stated, “I look like a king.”
“That’s the point,” she smiled “you really like it?”
“The only thing it’s missing is a crown,” Loki commented
“Gimme,” she replied taking the drawing from him and doodling something on it. When she handed it back, the god noticed a small crown floating above his head.
“Much better” he smirked
3. I think things that aren’t true
He found her curled in a ball in her closet, tears stained her cheeks. The god didn't know what to do, should he comfort her? Should he leave her? Maybe she just needed to be alone, or maybe she needed someone there but couldn't ask. He didn't enter the closet, but he sat down in the doorway if she needed someone she had someone, but if she didn't the girl could easily ignore him. He noticed her sobs begin to quiet, like she was holding her breath, trying to hide.
“It’s just me,” he called softly
Her breath hitched, and he could see her curl tighter in the closet.
“Do you want me to come in?” Loki asked
“N-no” she muttered “yes…”
The god frowned and crawled into the closet and pulled the girl into his arms. He didn't ask her anything he just held her if she needed to talk he was there but if she didn't want to, there was no pressure.
“Y-you weren't supposed to see this,” she paused “see this me.”
“It’s alright love,” he assured “I understand,”
“I'm sorry,” she cried
“For what?” the god asked pulling her closer
“For- for not telling you,” her breathing became more sporadic “for not being, being who you thought I was”
“Darling it's alright,” he said calmly “I promise, just breathe ok?”
She nodded trying to calm herself and breathe with him. That night she fell asleep in his arms, they both slept in the closet.
4. I'm not a nice person
Loki looked at the words, again and again, he could actually understand this one, sort of. Y/n did have a tendency to snap at people or be sassy, and sometimes she was rude, but she always had a reason. Generally, if you didn't piss her off, she was kind and usually caring.
“Don’t you fucking dare,” she scowled
“Don’t what?” Tony asked
“Don’t act like you’re better than him,” she said, “don’t act like you haven’t made your fair share of mistakes.”
“I’m sorry I didn’t try to kill an entire race or take over the world,” he retorted
“But your robot child did,” she countered
“He’s not my child, and Bruce helped too,” Tony stated
“Bro,” Bruce said looking up from his papers
“He didn’t want to help,” she replied “besides Ultron was your idea,”
“Well I’m not inherently evil like him,” Tony said
You groaned “He is not inherently evil, I figured you’d understand him, try to at least get along with him but no.”
“Why should I?” he asked
“Because he’s going to be living here and you can’t just ignore him, and you can’t be a dick to him,” you answered
“Aww,” he pouted “don’t want me to hurt his ego?” “No, I don’t want to hurt yours,” the girl glared
“Sweetheart,” Tony started before Bruce cut him off
“Bad idea man” he called from his desk
“I thought you weren’t getting involved” Tony called back
“As much fun as it is to watch her kick your ass I don’t want to clean it up again,” Bruce replied
“Just try to be nice to him,” she said
“Fine,” he paused “but if he’s an ass.”
“You’re going to be the better person,” you finished for him and walked out.
Loki may not have been the argument, but Thor had told him to go to you if he had issues with everyone and he soon learned the story. He didn’t understand exactly why you stood up for him without knowing him yet, but he had to admit it was a nice change.
5. I have no friends
That was a blatant lie, in fact, she was out with her friends now. Not just her friends her family. Loki wanted to delve into this list a bit further, use it as a way to help. That was if he could help if she wanted his help. But as he was about to read the next item on the page her voice rang through the air. She wasn't due back for another day, the mission must've been easier than they thought.
“Loki?” She asked he rushed to shove the notebook back where he found it and pull out a photo album knowing he wouldn't have enough time to put away the box.
“I didn't know you looked this cute as a baby?” he said as she walked through the door her cheeks flushed red
“What are you doing,” she asked
The god merely shrugged putting the photo album back along with the box it came from.
“You were gone an awfully long time, darling,” he said
“Aww, you missed me” she teased
“I did not” he stated
“Did too” she sang walking out of the room “how about we fix that with a movie?”
“As you wish” Loki called getting up from his spot in the closet
“Just for that we’re watching The Princess Bride” she smiled.
It was hard for Loki to believe that she couldlook and seem this happy after what he had just read. He figgured that after reading eb=ven just part of the note he’d see all the things he missed before but she hid it so well. No wonder no one knew what was really going on in the girls mind.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/n: I hope you guys liked it! Part 2 should b out next week? I am so sorry it took me so long! -G

THE GIFTENING 2016: The Shit We’ll Still Do
My other pending major question to come out of THE GIFTENING is my feelings on each thing and what, if anything, we’ll continue together. I still have a million Asks to dive into, but this is my general take on each thing.
- Pickle Electric: YOU KNOW I’LL BE LIVEBLOGGING THIS FUCKING MUSICAL UNTIL THE END OF TIME AND GLADLY SO. I adore it, and will never, ever, be over Senshi Band, ever. I’d like to have a musical day/night a month, though, so it’s not so fucking long between sessions and maybe I can have the damned thing finished before five years have passed.
- Undertale: Still the same status as last time. I’ve come this far, I plan to finish. Again, as I draft up my schedule for March (and coming months), I’d like to include this in rotation until I finish. It’s been long enough at this point, I think.
- Princess Tutu: WHAT A FUCKING JEWEL THIS WAS. It’s so goddamn out there, but I already love some of the themes and ideas it’s hinting at. I’m definitely marking this as a future liveblog project. I enjoyed what I saw, and I want to know more.
- Gravity Falls: LOVED IT. I want to watch every second of this show. That said, I’ve been heavily advised to not go the public liveblog route with this, due to its massive spoiler potential and general fandom atmosphere. Consequently, I’ll either continue Gravity Falls on my own, in a private liveblog setting ala And Steven, or perhaps it will be a Patreon-only liveblog situation. Not sure on the specifics yet, but I’ll definitely be continuing with it.
- Cardcaptor Sakura: I really wanted to love it, but it just didn’t capture (HA HA) me at all. I love a slow burn, but I still need a hook, and I just wasn’t able to find it. I don’t see me continuing with it.
- JEM: I’LL TALK ABOUT JEM ANY CHANCE I GET. I completely expect to do a full series liveblog before I’m done. No one may care, but by god, I’ll do it anyway.
- Utena: I wasn’t really able to come away with much of an impression about Utena, to be honest. But I didn’t find it irritating, and I do appreciate that. I’ve said for years now that Utena would be on my to-do list, and I plan to stick with that. We’ll return to Utena at some point before too long with public liveblogs.
- Yuri on Ice: Really not for me, I don’t think. Those two episodes were enough.
- Black Mirror: YOU HAD BEST BELIEVE I WILL WATCH EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE OF THESE. I don’t think that I’ll liveblog them, exactly, because they take a long while, and I’m not sure how interesting/fun/entertaining/whatever they are for the time they take. What I will do, though, is when I watch an episode, I’ll post a recap of it, along with thoughts on the episode. Basically it’ll be like a condensed liveblog in a single (LIKELY LENGTHY) post.
- Movie Day: This was such an unexpected hit. I’d absolutely love to do these again, and I’m considering a mix of public and Patreon options. As for the movies themselves, if you don’t want to watch the streams: I thought Spirited Away was okay. I spent most of the movie trying to figure out details and answers which I frankly don’t think were the point, but I didn’t reach that conclusion until the end. IT WAS WEIRD I CAN SAY THAT MUCH. Pan’s Labyrinth, I absolutely loved. I will buy this movie for myself. Ghostbusters and Fury Road, I’d already seen. Both are fantastic (I especially adore Fury Road, and only love it more with every viewing).
- Pigeon Fucking: HOW MANY MORE TIMES DO I HAVE TO PLAY THIS DAMNED THING TO FIND OUT WHAT’S GOING ON. I’d be open to returning to it when voted/requested, and certainly the livestream sped things up quite a bit. I’m not sure I’d voluntarily go back to it. But then, have I ever done anything with that game voluntarily. Why start now.
- Avatar: The Last Airbender: One of those situations where the interactions surrounding it are vastly overshadowing the thing itself. I’d like to say I’ll return to it. I suspect I’d quite like it if I stuck with it. I unfortunately have a negative desire to do so at the moment. Maybe time and distance will help that though! I absolutely do not plan to ever publicly liveblog it again.
- Sailor Moon Day: IT’S WHERE WE ALL LIVE COME ON. Mako’s Unboxing will continue very soon and regularly until it’s done. YES SOON I SAID SOON I MEANT SOON DON’T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT. I’m not sure if I have much more to offer with dub liveblogging beyond Drunk Times, but i’d be open to it if asked. I had a ton of fun with the Livechat, and would happily see that as a regular deal.
- Deep Space 9: I wanted to watch it anyway, but just the taste I got made me want to watch it more. I have my doubts i’d do a big liveblog of it. Make a few comments maybe, open discussion, that sort of thing. If there’s enough of an interest in it, though, I could certainly be persuaded.
- Brooklyn Nine-Nine: I was utterly unprepared for how much I’d enjoy this show. Will ABSOLUTELY continue to watch. Like DS9, I’m not sure how much liveblogging of it there’ll be. Comedies are tough to liveblog, in my experience, and I don’t know that we have a good time/reward balance for the effort involved. I’ll definitely be watching on my own time, though (with I don’t doubt a few comments here and there at least).
- Xena: JUST TRY AND MAKE ME SHUT UP ABOUT XENA. I want to do the entire series in the most ridiculously in-depth liveblog ever and it will happen one day and you won’t stop me.
- Buffy: MY OTHER GREAT LOVE I WILL MAKE A FULL BUFFY LIVEBLOG HAPPEN SOME DAY OH IT WILL HAPPEN
- X-Men (comics): I was just THRILLED by the positive response to this. Even just sitting here thinking about it makes me so happy. No question, a regular X-Men day is in our future. I can’t wait to share my mutants with you guys.
- X-Men (cartoons): We never did get to do a TAS liveblog, which I’d love. And you all know how I feel about Evo at this point. Again, I’d love to keep these in regular rotation with the comics.
- Overwatch: NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I still have all the prompts, and part of my upcoming plans over the year is to get back to a place where I’m happy with my writing (EVER THE GOAL). I’ll be working to, I hope, post at least one thing a week, ideally more, and I’d like to become more comfortable writing in the Overwatch world. So creatively, more to come. As for playing, OF COURSE. I’ve never had a Tumblr Brawl yet that hasn’t been fun as hell, and with the new options for customizing games, it’s like the universe is begging us. Definitely more playing (and livestreaming) in our future.
- Madoka: FINISHED JET IS A FREE WOLF. In the end, I didn’t really care for it, but I adored some of the ideas and concepts. I’m otherwise done with Madoka, though. I don’t plan to watch the movie(s). I’m happy to let the experience end where it did.
- 'Fic and Doodle Day: Oh yes. We’re not done here.
- The Simshi: Nor are we ever done with the Simshi. Regular Simshi playing, scheduled soon.
- Life is Strange: I really enjoyed playing it, and am keen to return to it until I’m done. How about a livestream of the second chapter this weekend, in fact? STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS
- Galavant: Loved it. LOVED IT. I’m excited to watch more, and they’ll be liveblogged as well. Given that there are relatively few episodes, I expect to be returning to this very, very soon.
- Yomawari: Night Alone: An interesting visual style makes the game feel fresh in a way I didn’t expect, but the punishing need to keep replaying killed it fast for me. I don’t expect to return to it, which is a pity.
- Outlast: OUTLAST ON THE OTHER HAND. I’m already anxious about going back in there, but I know I will, and I’ll do it with you all laughing at my swearing, my screams, my babbling, and my impossibly high-pitched Fear Giggle. Holligay will end me if I do it while she’s gone, so look for more of this in April!
- Murderdoll: The Game: Similarly, if I’m ever able to get Murderdolll to work, I’ve been told I’ll be disowned if I don’t want for my lesbian. If I can sort it out, this too will be coming soon!
- Yuri Hell’s Kitchen: MORE INFORMATION COMING IN APRIL
And that’s where we stand! Aside from Asks (and a ‘fic to be written when I can), THIS IS THE TRUE END TO THE GIFTENING.
