Thinking about modern band Au Laios. I feel that Laios compared to the others like Falin and Marcille who I think would be in their own possibly with other members like Izutsumi. He’d be something like idk more on the lines of Liana Flores or Mitski in a sense having more lullaby type of singing preferring not to join Flain and Marcille as they’re the types to deal with large groups instead staying to his own playing the synth making music on his own in his dump of an apartment he and Falin live in while she goes to college or something.

Chilchuck would probably be in a similar vain as a half foot being more sensitive to loud noise so he probably while working with Laios one day hears him singing a soft melody and joins him as he at one point also did music in an underground group playing the acoustic guitar and electric guitar.

the way people talk about """"building community"""" feels so weirdly like. abstract? artificial? alienating? idk. i see those posts and have an immediate reflexive feeling of "this could only be done by some entirely other kind of person with whom i share no skills or interpersonal approaches" and it takes me a while after that to remember that i organized a union

ive mentioned before how ive always thought it was a little bizarre that so many white people's first assumption when they see a white-looking person with a culturally unexpected surname is "oh they're adopted" despite how much more common a person being multiracial is compared to being the white adopted child of non-white parents - although of course it does happen, its just yknow. the people saying this are usually not thinking about the racial dynamics in the adoption industry so much as they are just assuming mixed race people don't exist LOL

but on that end, in my own mixed race bias I usually assume multiracialness first so i did completely forget about another decently common situation where a white-looking adult (often a woman) might have a last name from a non-white culture: i forgot that um. sometimes people (particularly women) change their last names when they get married? neither my mom nor any of my aunties did so you have to forgive me orz

Finally got around to buying the Nikke profile stickers I want since I keep drawing dupes! Bought all the Bow Wow Paradise ones!! It was one of my fave events bc I love dogs and dog girls and Happy Zoo and ESPECIALLY Biscuit so much. As you can see, I got all the 'dog' girls as my showcase team, too, lol:

Also, as an aside, I just got a new personal record in Overclock at level 16!! Which is why I remembered I needed to edit my profile when I went to check if it changed to 16 (I think I was at 12 maybe last time they ran Overclock in the Simulation Room).

listen im obviously pro-union but when people on here go on and on about how they're so perfect and they keep your workplace from ever being able to exploit you i just think back to the union job i had in a grocery store where they still deliberately shortstaffed and scheduled me just under full time to avoid giving me benefits and expected me to take on work outside my actual role's responsibilities, etc. and then on top of all that i had to pay union dues. and like sure maybe it would have been worse with no union but honestly i think it probably would have been exactly the fucking same. just saying like use critical thinking and independently evaluate any organization you may or may not join and decide whether it is right for you, don't just blindly assume union=perfect like it seems people on this site want for whatever reason

anyway here are my top 4 union chants to internalize:

many of us did not have good rhythm, and no chant is better at highlighting that particular deficit than this one. it has a pickup, love it! almost as much as we love to defend our rights and the rights of the people we love :)

we feel good, we feel fine, when you don't cross picket lines

this one brings a fun guilt trip energy to your workplace. :( don't cross :( we'll feel sad :( :( (it was not particularly effective)
