I really do not like to color and I found that the trick to not loathing every second is to draw most of the lines but then leave SOME details to line (like his coat details) while in the coloring phase so I have something fun to look forward to.

When Dorian gets a compliment from a man he's all flustered and blushy and very "awww stop it. Please keep going"

When he gets compliments from gods he's stoic and unfazed.

BUT WHEN IMOGEN COMPLIMENTS HIM. Robbie has said that Dorian was always closer to his mother. That he misses his mother. When he goes to Keyleth he says that the "motherly, powerful sort of feminine energy of compassion is something that Dorian's longed for since leaving home."

I'm not saying he sees Imogen as a mother figure but he respects the hell out of her. He holds her to such high esteem. She's powerful and compassionate and she loves him. And her complimenting him? Telling him that he's doing great?

It instantly means more to him than any other compliment hes ever gotten.
