Minor angst at first, rest heavy fluff!

Ghoul Kits have a scream identical to that of a banshee, it's quick to alert their parents and pack--theyre very loud, and quick to startle humans that aren't accustomed. Sister and Nihil were VERY not accustomed. Especially with one (Bell) being deaf and unable to hear himself and his wails, especially unable to hear his newly mother and father to calm him.

Phil's first scream will never leave their minds every time they think of his kithood. Just the pure agony of nothing but pain and suffering, this small kit just bleeding profusely. So confused, so lost, unsure what just happened to it.

When Sister first held Phil, her whole mentality clicked differently, just seeing this tiny creature squirming in her arms, umbilical cord still attached. His tiny hand just curling around her finger, gasping for air as he finally felt the presence of someone. When his little eyes opened, so did her's and Nihil's. Just the prettiest amethyst trying to focus and his little nose wiggling. They knew they made a mistake with their summoning. But Phil was far from ever being a mistake, no matter what higher-ups said. He was their baby.

Quickly turning their spare room into a nursery, going full out for their baby. They didn't know what they were doing, but they tried! They absolutely tried! They even got Phil a heated mattress for his crib, learning ghoul kits can't risk being cold and needed constant warmth.

He wouldn't latch to bottles for so long, scaring them as he'd end up crying for hours until he cried himself to sleep with hunger. Learned with more experimenting that regular baby formula simply didn't have what kits needed - altering each bottle to have blended meats and vitamins. When Phil finally started eating, relief washed over them like never before.

They didn't understand why they were so attached to the little hell spawn, but they never questioned themselves. They even started doing the stereotypical dress up of Phil in onesies and themed outfits, matching all the way! They never left the house without Phil, keeping him in a stroller with the hood down and a bonnet comfortably covering his ears. While he looked human enough, they just couldn't risk it.

Phil was about 8 months old when they summoned once more, too occupied by their new infant to really try again. It was a mistake, again. But! Somewhat better. This one wasn't covered in it's own blood, wasn't 'broken' to the same extent. Still an infant kit, though. At least two weeks old. It was an intersex child, horns already in nubs, little hooves kicking and tail thrashing. She was wailing just as loud, trying to reach out and grab anything he could. Imperator and Nihil were worried how'd they react to one another after Bell was about a month old, sister holding Phil and Nihil holding Bluebell. They were laid down on their parents bed, and Phil instantly tried reaching for Bluebell, babbling and tail perked up. They laid together and even Bluebell's nose wiggled, introducing them to noises they never heard before - trills! Their tails seemed like magnets and connected, finding warmth between each other.

They experienced Halloweens, the winter solstice, you name it! Phil and Bell were Sister and Nihil's whole damn world, and yes... Even sister will admit the kits took away importance of the ministry. It was second place to them now. However, when the higher-ups had enough and took the kits as collateral, it forced them back into work mode. Sister was a mess. She hates talking about that time. They ended up getting their children back, just holding them so tightly and promising to never let them go again.

Phil's first words was "Mama", Bell had her first words much later down the road being "bean". They were a very sign-language oriented family, teaching both Phil and Bell so everyone could communicate. They started with Italian first, then when they got older, English, then Latin. They were exposed to plenty of languages, they know enough of Swedish, Spanish, and German to get them through basic conversations.

Bluebell got her first pair of hearing aids at 5, just watching his eyes light up and looking around frantically, chewing her hand. When her parents talked to him for the first time, he jumped and just started bawling; but then her crying scared her even more xyfguvgv... It took a bit for Bell to get used to them, but settled eventually!

Little sneaky shits, too! They were smart as fuck. Figuring out how to grab the candy bowl that was not only on the counter, but pushed to the very back. Bell figuring out she could hit the wall with her hoof if she wasn't getting enough attention, they could trill and trill and TRRILLLL for hours to get attention, too!

Oh fuck and their teething stages? Kits have 2 teething stages. Immediately after birth for their fangs, then a second when they're older for the rest of their teeth. So many shoes, furniture, and even Nihil's fingers were ruined in the process. They'd get upset that their baby minds had the audacity to chew on their own tails....... They CRIED

Both were homeschooled, Phil excelling super quick and skipping grades constantly. While Bell wasn't as advanced, he was still smart and understood things - just at a different pace!

They looovveed music! Nihil used to play The Cadillacs for Phil in the nursery, and Bell would subconsciously touch Sister's throat while she hummed him to sleep. Their love for music only grew as they got older, Phil getting attached to The Beatles and Rolling Stones. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and especially the Temptations! They were both given tambourines at a really young age, figuring out rhythms and getting invested in their fathers music making.

Phil got his first guitar at 7, absolutely losing his shit and literally running around the house screaming from joy. Bell wasn't as interesting in learning at the time, but got his own at 8! When they learned Bell was more interested in heavy sounds, he got practice pads, too!

When Phil started showing interest in medical knowledge and anatomy, who were they to deny their son? Giving him multiple books, so many resources, and even quietly enrolling him for homeschooled college courses by a Sister who was also a professor! Even as he got older, his love and admiration stayed, even studying his own anatomy and Bell's. Bro did his own blood drawls to test himself. Insane.

Bluebell at the time started getting more interested in music, Nihil doing lessons on the side to help Bell feel drum rhythms better and memorizing it by patterns when he couldn't hear himself. Bell actually helped influence some sets in Kiss The Go-Goat.

Those boys were so loved and they loved just as much back. When Primo came around, they were both 12, eyeing this itty bitty human. He had no tail, had no horns. He looked weird, but he was their brother! So small, and their tails couldn't stop wagging as they looked in the bassinet. Secondo came a few years later, then Terzo four years in-between. I'm total, 7 years of an age gap between the Ghouls and Promo, 13 between Secondo, 17 with Terzo.

•He’s a very young regressor, he only regresses to 0-2.

•His caregivers are Connor and sometimes Riya.

•Even though he’s super young, he’s incredibly smart, especially when it comes to communicating.

•He won’t necessarily whine or cry when he needs/wants something, he’ll only do that as a last resort. Instead, he’ll point or lead his caregiver to whatever it is that he needs.

•He’s also pretty good at talking as well. He is only able to say a few words/small sentences, but considering how little he regresses, it’s impressive.

•He doesn’t talk very much though. He actually doesn’t really make any sort of noises as well. He’s often very quiet and keeps to himself.

•Despite his age range, if he needs to be, he can be pretty independent. He doesn’t like being independent, but if he absolutely has to be, he can.

•He’s a very calm little guy. He rarely fusses or whines about anything.

•He loves books. Whether he’s being read a story or looking through picture books, he absolutely loves it.

•Almost always really tired. That’s actually the main thing that triggers his regression, is when he gets tired.

•His favorite activity is curling up in bed with his blanket and pacifier, and just sleeping for hours.

Researchers note 221: 5 Patients

Today has been rough. All dragons. 5 different types, 5 different stages walk in today to continue treatment. 5 different emotional rollercoasters...

Dr Dipshit also called today complaining about a patient who went through low-dose treatment, then a patient ramming through his wall. I told him he needs to remember that each patient is different and compensate for that. And also figure out how to build a better wall. Jackass. Back to my patients.

First was the sweetest young girl. Brave for starting this early in her life, but also one of the most sure patients I've had. 10 months in and shes finally coming into her species. The only issue, shes afraid of needles, and only has the few soft spots left. Needless to say, that poke hurt me more than it hurt her.

Second was a first time patient, and these are always the hardest. The TheraSMD335 is an absolutely intimidating device. When all you have been doing is light injections up to this point, it is terrifying to see this big stainless machine, and a few needles and tubes next to it. We had to reasure and reafirm this poor being at least 10 times before they were relaxed enough to be set in the table. They felt better after. They always do.

Third patient was the hardest. Patient arrived by flight, 6 years into treatment. Theyre body had a hard time accepting treatment, and seemingly every injection didnt do enough.This patient was so fed up that they started plastic surgery to assist transformations ahead of the body. I feel so sorry for them. There is a beautiful dragon, just with a long story in their scales.

Okay, the Fourth was actually the hardest. Physically. The patient is a transfer from Doctor Dipshit. AKA, she transferred today. 45 months into transition and she was in the midst of her final steps before total body completion. Twice as we were restraining her I was thrown across the room by her wings. She barely fit inside the machine's boundaries, but at this stage main focus was on the torso and neck. It was worth the bumps, she walked away with a smile. Finally, number

Five. An odd situation where a patient wanted to split species. Technology hasnt advanced to that state, so they were living out their life as a dragon otter. They had the cutest custom kigu...kigeu... onesie pajamas. The hood even had horn holes. They are so sweet every time, asking for privacy to remove clothes, then trying to help strapping themselves in. I adore their vists, reinvigorates why we keep developing this technology.
