Your Friday night plan was simple: curl up with a good book, sip some tea, and unwind after a long week of studying. But your phone buzzed, and you knew that peace wasn’t in the cards.

The message was from Chris: “Hey, can you come over? It's an emergency.”

Heart racing, you threw on a hoodie and grabbed your keys, ignoring the way your stomach twisted with worry. Chris wasn't one to panic or send cryptic messages, so if he said it was an emergency, it had to be serious.

You reached the apartment he shared with Matt and Nick in record time. When you knocked, Chris opened the door immediately, his hand gripping a towel pressed tightly to his arm.

“Shit, that's a lot of blood,” you said, your voice catching as you noticed the crimson seeping through the fabric.

“I know,” Chris winced. “I was making dinner, and… The knife slipped.”

Your worry softened slightly, but your eyes widened at the sight of his arm. “Chris, you need stitches.”

“Yeah, figured that much.” His voice was casual, but his face was paler than usual. “I tried calling Matt and Nick, but they're out, so… You were the only one nearby.”

“Let's get you cleaned up and to the ER. Come on.” You grabbed his good hand and guided him to the sink, trying to keep your own nerves in check.

As you helped clean his wound, Chris hissed in pain but stayed quiet, letting you take control. You were used to thinking on your feet, but seeing Chris hurt like this? That was something else entirely.

“You're gonna be fine,” you said, though more for yourself than him.

“I know. Just didn’t expect to almost lose an arm over spaghetti night.”

“Spaghetti night? You’re ridiculous.” You couldn't help but smile, despite the situation. Chris always had a way of lightening the mood, even when blood was involved.

You wrapped his arm in a cleaner towel, and you grabbed your bag, ready to head out. “Let’s go.”

As you both walked to your car, Chris leaned into you slightly, his usual swagger replaced with quiet gratitude. “Thanks for coming. I knew you'd show up.”

“Of course. I'm always here for you.” You tried to keep your voice steady, but the unspoken truth between you weighed on your chest. Your relationship was always more than just friends. You had danced around it for so long, but now, standing so close to him, you felt it all over again.

At the ER, after what seemed like hours of waiting and stitching, Chris was finally bandaged up. He shot you a lopsided grin as you both left. “I guess I owe you for this, huh?”

“You owe me dinner. Without the blood next time.”

“Deal.”

As you walked toward your car, the tension that had been brewing between you for months hung in the air. Chris stopped suddenly, turning to face you. “Y/N, I—”

“Yeah,” you smiled softly. “Maybe we can.”

“Don't,” you cut him off, though not unkindly. “You don't have to say anything right now. Just… Heal up.”

Chris nodded, his usual easygoing demeanor replaced by something more vulnerable. “But when I’m better… Maybe we can talk?”

And as you drove off, both of you knew that the blood and the stitches weren’t the only things that had changed that night.

I want to take apart the use of the word, "dramatic" in the fandom a little and try to understand why it gets applied to Stolas so often and not to Blitz. Because, honestly, they both sort of are . . .

If dramatic means "oozes emotions and makes the audience feel something for them." Both have really intense emotional moments in the show.

The truth is, they also both hold back quite a lot though. (So maybe neither is dramatic?) There are tons of examples, but to save space, here's one of each. We see Stolas forcing his face serene in the middle of a drunken crying session in Apology Tour, and we see Blitz leave rather than let Stolas see him cry in Ozzie's.

And they BOTH don't let the people in their lives see that they're hurting. Stolas wears a mask for Octavia, and Blitz wears a mask for . . . everyone in his life, really . . . Until recently, both wore masks for each other pretty much constantly too. But when they're each alone, we see the truth.

Okay, so obviously it comes down to presentation, right? Specifically gender presentation . . .

Stolas gets judged as dramatic (and even whiny or self-absorbed in anti circles) because he laments in deep, lofty ballads, with make-up dripping down his face, which is honestly such a win for all the grown-up emo kids watching. He relates to soap opera protagonists and wants to be chased after while he's boarding a train. He reads romance novels.

In short, when he expresses emotions, when he consumes media about romance . . . he's being traditionally "feminine." (A note: this is also why he's often portrayed by fans as "the woman" in the relationship- and that can have its own problems, since, yes, this is a gay relationship between two men, and regardless of gender presentation, neither needs to be "the woman.")

Blitz on the other hand . . . well. He's not masculine in every way either, is he? He loves to crossdress for fun work. When he's enjoying his down time, he's watching two cutesy horses kissing.

But he expresses emotions in ways that are socially accepted as masculine. Namely, anger. It's not dramatic to do any of this, is it?

He calls listening to love ballads "gay . . ." oh, and he uses the same insult for Stolas . . . you know . . . trying to talk about emotions with him. So, for better or worse (worse- this is a bad thing), he's pretty deeply entrenched in society's expectations of masculinity. Or anyway, he performs it more convincingly than Stolas does. Well enough, it seems, to convince some viewers that he's 1) just an asshole with no depth and/or 2) just a chill and badass regular dude man.

But here's the kicker. NEITHER of these characters are wrong for having emotions and expressing them. It's a good thing actually.

In the world of the show, expression heals. Singing helps Stolas process the changes in his life. His decision to tell Blitz how he feels WILL ultimately help them both with their character development. Blitz ends up happier than he's been in a long time and manages to repair a friendship after 15 years apart once he explains his emotional experience to Fizz and cries. Accepting some emotions other than anger in Apology Tour (even if he's far from finished processing them) enables Blitz to grow profoundly as a person.

porter loves treasure’s hands. he loves kissing each of their fingertips and knuckles, he loves when they run their fingers through his hair, he loves when they wave their hands around when they’re talking he loves them

porter feels his heart break whenever he sees treasure cry 

and whenever treasure smiles, he falls apart 

treasure loves hearing porter talk and vice versa 

they’re both waiting on the other to make the first move to officially talk about their relationship status 

treasure is prone to headaches and porter massages their temples for them when it gets bad, laughing when they pout up at him

he feeds on them while they're reading or watching tv and it's genuinely a peaceful experience for them as much as it is a sexual one

treasure is terrified of spiders and other bugs. they'll be in another room screaming their head off and porter thinks they're getting murdered but it's just a tiny insect

he kills them without hesitation every time and carries them out of the room

treasure has porter wrapped around their finger and they have no idea

porter had a "never stay the night/wipe their memory" mentality before he met treasure. but he knew after talking to them for ten seconds that he was so fucked up over them idk if this has been proven non-canon before, i forgot

treasure has horrible eating habits and porter is always scolding them for it (he cooks for them every time he's over)

they watch horror movies together all the time and treasure screams and clings onto porter every single time

once, treasure's really bad friends tried to confront them about "leaving them for some guy" and they got really upset so porter took the phone from them and told said "friends" off

if asked, both of them will answer that yes, it is very much casual but they both know it's not

porter is a little secretive with the whole vampire thing at times and it bothers treasure a little but not enough to bring it up to him

The basic premise is after Adam's death, when he gets revived in Hell, its as a Naked Idiot, thinking he'd just woken up from when he was put to sleep when they took his Rib for Eve. He doesn't know what this place is, why its Red and Hot, or why he's no longer in Eden. He awoke outside the Hotel so his first instinct is to look inside the strange structure and figure out what's going on.

Charlie thinks there's a new Sinner outside the Hotel and goes to greet him and instead met with a Very Naked Adam who doesn't seem to recognise her. Not wanting to let a confused and naked Adam wander Hell alone, she brings him inside and dresses him (poorly in a sheet) and tries to get to the bottom of it. Adam thinks she's an Angel since she looks so much like Lucifer, she must be one of his Angelic siblings, it's the only thing that makes sense.

He talks to her about his life in Eden, about how Lucifer is his best friend and he doesn't like Lilith because she doesn't listen to him so he gets in trouble with the Angels. About how they have started leaving him alone. About how the Angels say there's something wrong with him but once they do this thing that he was put to sleep for everything will get better! Lucifer said he would be there when he woke up, but Lucifer wasn't anywhere, why did he lie to him? But Charlie is nice, she listens to him. Usually the Angels dismiss him or ignore him, they don't care about his problems, but Charlie actually listens. The only other one to do that was Lucifer, that's why it hurts that he's been avoiding him-

Charlie of course calls her dad to come and help take care of this, she's Really out of her depth, she is Not equipt to deal with all this and she doesn't want to introduce Adam to the whole idea of Hell because, well, that's not her place. This has to be handled in a way she can't and by someone she's not. And when Lucifer does arrive, it takes Charlie only moments to see that Adam is completely In Love with her Dad. Who, for his part, is entirely oblivious. She feels almost Bad for Adam.

Lucifer ends up staying at the Hotel to keep an eye on Adam and it honestly doesn't take long for a relationship to start. Adam finds out from Charlie and Angel that being Gay is Okay, and that Lucifer is Bi. He doesn't understand much of what's going on, but he knows he's not in the Garden and he doesn't have the Angels' expectations placed on him anymore, he doesn't need to procreate and he can pursue what he wants. And what he wants is Lucifer. Lucifer for his part Isn't in Love, but there is something about how Adam is so innocent and earnest, how he makes Lucifer feel old but also feel like there's a way to start over, how he makes Lucifer feel wanted for the first time in many years. He may not be in Love, but he wants to make Adam Happy, he wants to take a chance on this Do Over.

Lucifer, despite not being in love, becomes a bit emotionally dependent and obsessed with Adam. He likes feeling needed, and he loves feeling wanted. It's helping heal some part of him that's been broken since his and Lilith's relationship started falling apart many years ago. Adam's mischievous, curious, and bright nature helps revitalize him in a way he didn't expect. And Adam is worried for him when he hits lows, he tries to cheer him up in whatever way he can think of. And having someone around during those times that shows how much they care does a Lot of good. Adam is his ESA.

There are a few things going on with Adam, though. First and Foremost, in a bid to keep him innocent, to avoid overwhelming him and to avoid making things Confusing and Terrible, they're trying to keep him oblivious to what this place Actually Is. They don't call it Hell, he shouldn't Know what that is. He doesn't know about Sin in that way and they don't want to introduce it to him like that. He's not allowed to go out unless it's with someone Trusted (Mainly Lucifer or Charlie, but that does eventually extend to Angel and Vaggie.) It would be hard to explain what happened to Humanity, why things are the way they are. It's not an easy thing to keep covered up. But it's not something they can hide forever, especially because of the next point.

He is slowly getting his memories back, reliving his personal traumas, the feelings of betrayal, the emptiness, the loneliness, the bitter hatred. He'd have memories of Feelings, hating the color red, feeling some level of bitterness and resentment towards the man he Knows he loves, etc but he never had any context for them. But he slowly gets them back. But everything is getting recontextualized, he has support from Lucifer and Charlie and other people at the Hotel. It's still difficult to deal with the memories and feelings, but he's not dealing with them alone and he feels genuinely cared about, it makes all the difference. Lucifer asks him if he believes he loves him, because by the time enough of these memories resurface, Lucifer does love him and Adam had never questioned it. So its hard when he genuinely answers he doesn't know. But it's okay, they can work through it together.

But aside from his memories coming back, Adam is also dealing with the much more physical problem of transformation. His blood is still gold, he's a Fallen Angel, even if he doesn't have the context of it. And gradually his body changes. His Fallen form doesn't quite reflect his Angelic form as he started as an almost blank slate. He's becoming a Catboy, or Lion Boy specifically, a kemonomimi type with more cat mannerisms. It's chalked up to the eventual corruption of anything residing in Hell, but it's part of his fate as a Fallen Angel. Lucifer isn't complaining and Adam is getting scritches and pets so he really has no complaints either.

Heyy, I just read your post about The Bear S3! I don't know if that's too much to ask but I was wondering if you could explain to me SydCarm? I can see why Syd would be great for Carmy, but I don't really see how he (yes, healed/healing) would be good for her. I'm ace, so the complementary aspect and the journey are both big things for me in romance, and people talk about it for SydCarm but it just hasn't clicked for me? I'm just looking to be educated ^^

Hi. Thanks for asking.

1. One thing that Carmy does for Syd that I think is good for Syd, or think Syd needs, is someone who prevents her from getting carried away, or from becoming overconfident. We see in season's one and two that she knows how to cook, and yet she has a tendency to think that her dish is ready sooner than it is, or a tendency to think she knows more than she does, or thinks she's prepared for more than she is.

Carmy puts her in her place - but he does so in such a way that both affords her respect and makes it clear that it's not personal. He's not judging her and he doesn't think less of her for having created a dish that isn't perfect, or having an idea that won't work, or whatever it is.

Now, we only get to see how this benefits her professional pursuits as a chef, but I think it would extend beyond that in a relationship. Even in this season, she pulled the trigger on that new apartment pretty quickly, and only sought her dad's advice after the fact. Maybe nothing comes of that - or maybe something does. If she were in a relationship with Carmy, and intending to live with him, they would be getting a place together, and maybe he slows her down. Maybe he says, "Hey, let's look at some others while we think about this place," and they leave and find somewhere better. That's a tiny thing, but it's a thing that only becomes more valuable the older you get, and the decisions you make have greater potential rewards or consequences.

I also think that Sydney could get her heartbroken trying to do something before she's ready. Let's say that Carmy isn't the one who, very respectfully, cuts her down a size. Say it's someone else, someone who is going to be crueler, someone who's not going to pull punches - that would crush Syd. As is, Sydney has a hard time taking Carmy's very straightforward, nonjudgmental, brief criticism. Could you imagine if she had ever found herself in a kitchen like the one Carmy was abused in? If that was the first place someone decided to cut her down a size? It would have destroyed her.

At the same time, we know she's worked at other places, and we know that the head chefs at those places told Carmy when he called to ask about her that Sydney is "very green," and it's pretty obvious they're warning him about this because any attempt they made to slow her down or get her to take their advice didn't work.

Crucially, the way Carmy criticizes her gets through to her without also discouraging her, and she needs that.

2. Another way I think Carmy would be good for Syd, though it may seem kind of in opposition to what I just said - but hear me out - is that even when he doesn't want the same thing, her dreams are a priority. He outright admits in season 2 that he wouldn't even want to be doing the restaurant without Syd - which is nearly the same thing as saying that he's doing it for Syd, or at least to some degree he's doing it for her.

And Sydney wants a star. Part of the reason she thinks it's possible to get a star is because of her tendency to get ahead of herself and think she knows more than she does - but at the end of the day, she wants that star. Carmy definitively does not want a star, and he knows exactly what getting a star entails and what it could cost them - and still, he tells Syd they're going to get a star. She wants one, and he's going to make it happen. He is the only person who could make that happen for her, at least at this point in her life, that he knows of, and he's going to.

Sydney doesn't appear to have a lot of other people in her life besides her dad, and we know from scenes with her dad, that her dad isn't like that. Granted, it's not like he doesn't want her to work in a restaurant or try to get a star or follow any other dream she might have - but he's realistic. He wants financial stability for his daughter before he wants her dreams to come true, like most parents who have had to struggle to get by. So she doesn't have her dad to cheer on her dreams, nor can he help her achieve them. Carmy does, and can. After her failed catering business, I think Sydney really needs that. She needs someone who still believes in her ability to achieve her dreams, and someone who doesn't think it's a waste of time.

3. Carmy is thoughtful, even if it didn't seem like it this season. But I'll point out firstly that given his circumstances (refreshed trauma, the pressures of opening a restaurant, being hundreds of thousands in debt, all on top of still grieving his brother) it wouldn't have been easy for anyone in his place to be thoughtful this season. I think people tend to think of Syd as the thoughtful one, and certainly the one being thoughtful this season, when she printed paper with larger margins. But Carmy is thoughtful. Part of the reason he's putting himself under so much pressure this season is because he's thinking of the others - Marcus whose mom wanted this restaurant for them, Ebra who is elderly with nowhere else to go, Sugar with partial ownership of the place right before having a baby, and of course, Sydney, who wants a star.

Sydney mentioned one time that she liked Carmy's jacket. That jacket is something that is so par for the course for Carmy, that he doesn't think much of it, but her pointing it out to him was enough to make him realize what it actually does mean, and what it means specifically to someone like Syd, who dreams of living the life Carmy's had. That's literally all it takes for him to go, "Alright. Let's get Syd a jacket." I don't think people grasp how crazy that gesture is? Her first ever chef's jacket? A jacket he doesn't even personally see any value in so literally he's only giving it to her because he knows she personally will treasure it? How, once again, he's very much like, "I don't get it but whatever Syd wants"?

And even in this season, the season he's being thoughtless, for a lot of valid reasons, he still invited Sydney to the funeral dinner for Ever. It was very clear to me that Sydney turned him down initially, not because she wouldn't want to go to the last dinner at a restaurant of that status - we know from season 1 how familiar Sydney is with all the most prestigious restaurants in Chicago, and this would be the last dinner at one of the most long-lasting prestigious restaurants, and at the same time there would be dozens of other extremely accomplished chefs in attendance, you can't tell me she wasn't dying to go on the inside - but because she was trying to avoid the awkwardness of being in a place where both Luca and Carmy would be in attendance, or possibly avoid the awkwardness of being around Carmy all night when things have already been so tense.

Either way, you can't tell me it had anything to do with not wanting to go, and I think Carmy felt the same way. He put a lot of emphasis on it. He outright said, "Syd, it's Ever," like that alone should be enough. Even he couldn't imagine why she wouldn't want to go, and I think his interpretation was either, "Wow, I've been really fucking up if she won't even go to this with me," or, "Wow, she must really think she's overstepping coming uninvited. Well, I don't care." And he pushed her to come until she agreed, and you know what? She, for the most part, had an excellent time, and it clearly meant a lot to her to be there. She stayed until after closing to see the sign come off the wall in the kitchen. That was a once-in-a-lifetime event for her, and she would have never gone if Carmy had not firstly invited her, and secondly convinced her to come despite whatever was stopping her from doing what she truly wanted. I think this thoughtfulness is something Sydney needs, but it's also such a clear demonstration that Carmy knows her, AND that Carmy is not going to ever let her, or anything else, get in the way of what she wants if he can help it.

4. Carmy can apologize. I know that feels a little ironic, given his behavior this season, and given his inability to apologize to Claire, his strained apology to Richie - but I don't think it's a coincidence that Carmy can apologize to Syd and not Claire, nor do I think the point is like, how well-articulated Carmy's apologies are. Carmy is capable of apologizing to Sydney in a way he can't to Claire, and when he does apologize to her, what matters most is that firstly, there's no bullshit. There's no making excuses, there's no trying to spin it so that it's on her, there's no downplaying it, nothing. There's, "My behavior was unacceptable." Boom. Taking accountability. What matters most after that is that there isn't any expectation to be forgiven. In that same conversation, he follows with, "Your last check is ready for you to pick up," or something like that.

Now, I think any future apologies he gives her are going to go differently, because they'll be at a different stage of familiarity with one another - that was season 1, after all, and they were still getting to know each other, let alone deeply care about each other. But I think the same logic will apply. I think Carmy will give a sincere apology that takes full accountability, and I think he will do so without any expectation of forgiveness. Let's say Carmy fucks up badly and it's the last straw. Syd leaves The Bear to work somewhere else. I think one way or another, Carmy will still apologize without any expectation of being forgiven. He might ask her to come back to work at The Bear, but I think it will be with her in mind - they built the place together, it's her baby as much as his, and she deserves it. I also think it will be with the restaurant in mind - the place can't fucking function without her. I don't think it will be with himself in mind.

It doesn't feel right to say Syd needs someone who can apologize, given it sort of implies she needs someone that will hurt her - but the reality is that no matter how much healing or growing Carmy does, he's never going to be perfect. No one is perfect. Which means there's always going to be times when Sydney deserves an apology - and that would be true in any relationship she enters with anyone else. So, yeah. Syd needs some who can give her a real apology. Not everyone can do that, but Carmy can.

It's possible there's more I'm not remembering, but I think I've covered some of the most significant ways he's good for her - at least in my opinion. I hope that answers your question, and thanks for asking again!

Thank you for the question! 💕 I'm not sure where to start so I'll just put this in bullet points 😄 I hope this makes sense, I’m sure I missed some explanations but I tried to summarize it.

Before college, their sex life was obviously limited because they didn’t have that much privacy and Gale refused to take Bucky to his place. So it was a mix of very careful and quiet non-penetrative sex if they weren't alone in the house and excited experimentation whenever they had time alone, usually during school holidays.

Basically, they had some habits together but in their new circumstances, these habits change. That means another transition period, on top of everything else. This is not a bad thing at all, but there are so many changes they need to navigate that the stress accumulates.

An example: whereas previously, they always tried to be super quiet, they can be as loud as they want now because they rent a small one-bedroom flat together. Except, Gale finds himself unable to stop holding back. He’s anxious about making possibly embarrassing sounds, especially because he realizes that Bucky has stopped holding back and yet he still isn’t very loud.

Then, of course, all their other issues have a negative effect on their sex life.

Getting used to college can be exhausting, so it's also natural that in the first semester, they don’t want to have sex as often as in the next one.

In this AU, they're not the kind of couple who get hot for each other if they're fighting. Gale can hold a grudge for a long time, but even if he doesn’t, after a fight, he usually feels drained and sad, which rarely leads to any kind of opportunity for sex.

Plus, Gale is anxious that he’s not enough for Bucky because "Bucky could have anyone and why would he settle for his first, he probably thinks that's boring." This idea makes Gale tense, hence the sex feeling off.

Meanwhile, Bucky notices Gale's tension and distraction, but he thinks it's because Gale is falling out of love with him. We know that Bucky always dreaded this moment, the - in his mind - inevitable drifting apart once high school is over. This makes Bucky anxious too, which makes him clingy, and that's enough to make the sex feel off from his side too.

So there's a whole lot of external stress and a self-feeding cycle of undiscussed uncertainties. They all exacerbate each other.

In addition, their new friends don’t help either, because they all think this relationship won't survive anyway and both Bucky and Gale would benefit from a new partner.

Thankfully, we know that this isn’t what happens.

Yes, it’s a rough patch, yes, it’s stressful, but as soon as they finally align again and all their discordant pieces slot back into harmony, sex gets better again. And this is an instant thing actually. Instant, because their sex life was affected mostly by their disharmony and not other things that are slower to heal.

They have a huge fight in which everything comes out, and it's just what they needed because they finally acknowledge all their issues but also share the fact that they both still want the other. That’s all it takes to turn the negative spiral into the first steps of revovery.

They make up and reach a hopeful, positive and relieved state that night, and they have makeup sex.

It’s the first time that they both feel that it's not teenage experimentation anymore. It’s more serious and mature, and when they say I love you, it feels deeper than ever before.

From then on, they get the same relieved-happy-loved feeling from physical intimacy and, well, let’s just say they make up for all the sex they missed in their first semester.

It keeps getting better in the next months, and it's during this period in their lives that they develop that deep and steady intimacy that makes them act like a married couple long before they even tie the knot.

Whump Whumping Whump

Updates on Whumptober, meows!

Alllriiight, my dear readers, I'm very much on a roll when it comes to Whumptober. For anyone stumbling across my page for the first time, Whumptober is an event hosted during October where you write "whump", or rather the psychological, physical, and other forms of torment against a "whumpee" (person receiving the angst).

I had the thought of doing a combination of prompts into a single one-shot, just to get a feel of something a little different! I wanted to talk a little about the chosen fandom and some information about the au itself because why not? For fandom, I decided to go with the current fixation, in other words a K-Drama known as Vincenzo.

This one's going to be particularly whumpy, especially due to the nature of the content with my idea but before that - this idea follows a canon divergent setting! It does fit under au, though honestly I named the fic after a song! Due to my rewatch of the series, I realized how dear these characters are to me so I created my own canon because, well, one of my favorites did die and I am upset lol.

Read below for information about the au and the fic itself!

Changes to the Canon

Jang Hanseo deserved so much better. After suffering from Hanseok's abuse, I felt his demise was too brutal for my tastes and decided he would get the chance to live here!

Vincenzo still did leave Korea after the end of the series, but then came back - deciding he couldn't abandon his new family. Geumga Plaza is an unofficial family and are highly protective of each other

Vincenzo and Hong Chayoung got together post-canon; though it took a while, considering just how stubborn both of them are. They're only dating, and neither has brought up marriage

The au itself does take place in Italy though! I had thought of Vincenzo taking Chayoung and Hanseo to visit where he had grown up, and so I decided to have them take a vacation

Hanseo took over the business, now running it legally. Though he also decided to volunteer at an animal shelter during the weekend

Vincenzo is a legal consultant, apart from still being part of the Jipuragi Law Firm

Hanseo suffers from PTSD and an unspecified anxiety disorder. While he has recovered immensely from the abusive dynamic with Hanseok, he does have vicious nightmares

He considers Vincenzo to be his true brother and rarely talks about Hanseok

Chayoung is highly protective of Hanseo, making sure no one comes after him. Though, this has hardly been an issue

Hanseo also has Autism Spectrum Disorder. I'm not going to lie; a lot of his depictions of having ASD in fanfiction doesn't always make me comfortable. I'm using my own experience with autism for how his represents

Vincenzo also has PTSD, but he doesn't talk about it. Ever

Fanfiction Details

As mentioned before, Vincenzo - alongside Chayoung and Hanseo - take a vacation to Italy, but of course things end up going a little south

For reasons I won't be disclosing yet, a hit is placed on Vincenzo. He discovers what's happening, and finds himself slowly distancing from Hanseo and Chayoung in order to keep them safe

Chayoung immediately notices something's up, attempting to confront Vincenzo but he gets defensive and it leads to a situation. That's all I can really say

Hanseo is not confrontational, but he does worry over his hyung and decides to help Chayoung figure out what's bothering Vincenzo

A fight does break out, but I will not be saying anything beyond that yet! That's spoilers, I'm afraid

More will come in a little while if anyone wants a WIP and would like to see me keep yapping about this idea. I haven't written for Vincenzo in ages, and last time, it had gotten a little... spicy to say the least but I adore Vincenzo's relationship with Chayoung and, well, Hanseo should've had a chance to heal from Hanseok's torment. In the meantime, I bid you adieu!

I'll probably respond again with some art of their lore, but this is currently my sans ocs (in order left to right with a brief description)

1. D-DIN/Gill Sans; he started out as D-DIN, a worker for the Multiversal Intelligence Agency (M.I.A) that originally came from a 1950s detective Underfell Mafia AU. He was sent to Regicidefell to better understand the AU, soon being captured by Alphys as a gift to Papyrus and brainwashed into believing he was Sans to replace the original Sans of that world.

2. Scar Sans; from an original world much like Geno Sans, where in a genocide route he dodged too slow. The entire left side of his face is scarred so he is unable to use magic. He wastes his "afterlife" in a M.I.A void under constant surveillance, they're studying him to try to understand his situational immortality

3. Project Cancelled (P.C) Sans; From the same AU as the creator of the M.I.A, being his nephew. He is from the same timeline as P.C Papyrus and is responsible for the havoc that he is causing across the multiverse. His AU fell apart, now being cared for/working for the M.I.A under his uncle's wing. He can't use magic and his face is cracked and green from constantly having to be healed. His soul is extremely weak and he has to use wires to help control some of his motor functions due to how weak his body is. He's also the oldest of the group, being around 40ish years old (Papyrus being early 20s) he's also definitely a pothead and always has been. He also kinda has a complicated relationship with the Alphys of his universe

4. Regicidetale Sans; The tallest of the group and definitely the strongest when coming to health and stats. He has absorbed two human souls because of the difficult living situation in his original timeline. He comes from an original world, but much like Horrortale it was a neutral route (Pacific until Asgore). When Frisk passed the barrier it caused a cave collapse, killing almost everyone in the capital and causing the core to overheat Hotland and the Waterfall. Undyne took the crown after kicking Toriel out, banishing Sans and Toriel to the ruins. He's the only one of the group who has a child (and an actually good/healthy relationship lmao). He was recruited by the M.I.A for guarantee that Toriel, their child (I don't have a name for them yet 😭), and Papyrus to be safe and well fed. Originally working for P.C Papyrus until he was captured by the M.I.A and held for observation. Regicidetale Sans's AU has reached it's conclusion by the time he was taken from it, unlike many of the group.

5. Project Cancelled (P.C) Fell Sans; much like the original P.C Sans, he's in his late 40s. He showed more compassion to his version of Papyrus and played along with the brotherly role, so when another version of his brother (Original P.C Papyrus) said he could make him immortal for the price of his soul, he took the deal. He's now in hiding from P.C Papyrus after betraying him, letting him get captured by the M.I.A for the promise of protection. Originally he would travel the multiverse, collecting souls (human and monster) and DT for P.C Papyrus. He was unable to die unless the snake in his body was harmed, but P.C Papyrus was the only one that could control it. He soon got sick of the chores, deciding to betray P.C Papyrus for an easier life as a guinea pig for the M.I.A

For a story I can't yet share the details of...

Jimmy and Scott separated because of poor timing, belated poor chemistry at the time, and other issues that arose where Scott had to turn more of his attention elsewhere and to other matters than toward Jimmy. So Jimmy left (which was the correct choice at the time), and - a while later - ends up meeting, befriending, and later getting together with Tango. Tango, at some point after this, convinces Jimmy to go talk to Scott again because Jimmy's still torn up about how that ended, he and Scott haven't spoken since, and talking it over would help clear the air and gain some sense of closure, perhaps for both of them.

So I have two paths I could take here...

A) Jimmy goes to talk to Scott, they mend fences, heal broken hearts, and find common ground again. They find that they work so much better as close friends, and they're able to support each other and be there for each other in ways that don't need to be romantic to still be worthwhile. Jimmy finds he meshes better with fire rather than ice (Tango instead of Scott), but the worth of his and Scott's relationship is still there no matter what. (Breaking up doesn't always mean breaking apart)

B) When Jimmy goes to talk to Scott, it's not just Jimmy that's been aching over the past. They mend things, forgive mistakes, and carry on...but in this instance, they find that timing, more than anything, was the main problem they had in the first place. They're both in a better position to try being together again, and Tango is fully supportive of that. Fire and ice balance each other out after all, don't they? (And Jimmy has two hands)

Ahhh yes, the "I Can Fix Them" au

Genuinely just a comfort au where I play with relationships and things. The actually story/plot of the au isn't too important. There is one tho!! Thats what this post is for, and for exploring some of the relationships in the au!

The au mostly follows Canon up until around Solar being brought back (though there is already kind of an established qpr between solar and Nexus that was disrupted by solar's death and Nexus becoming a villain, but yknow-)

After Solar is brought back, immediately is worried about Nexus. He ends up getting closer with Moon, but he is working on a way to help Nexus. 

He does end up finding him. But he can tell something is wrong as he talks to him, and nothing he says helps. So, he starts panicking, and does the one thing he can think of: kisses him.

AND IT WORKS?? (True loves kiss lmao)

no one knows how to this day, but for some reason the virus in Nexus just breaks when he kisses him and Nexus is free. Of course he feels so so bad for everything he did, and cries for awhile in Solar's arms till he passes out. Solar takes him home, and the family is very apprehensive of Nexus being back in the family, but they eventually warm back up to him (starting with Sun). Moon hates him still, though him and Solar are friends. Soemthing Nexus HATES, but it's mutual because Moon hate state Solar and Nexus are now dating (how yeah and they started dating)

On top of this, but Eclipse has to move out of the dimension because of Solar. So he goes to another dimension and moves into an apartment with Puppet and works as security for a small fazbear's pizza (yeah were saying fuck you to eaps i don't have the energy to watch it 😔)

Nexus and Solar are grateful for bringing Solar back. Nexus visits him quite a bit, ectopically cause he was the one who talked Earth into forgiving Nexus, so he's even more grateful. The two end up getting close, and Solar and Eclipse exchange letters a lot. But they can't actually see each other.

There's also probably stuff going on with Dark Sun, I havnt gotten that far yet. Idk what happens to him after Nexus is save.d he probably just disappears for awhile and Nexus jumps every time he sees Sun, because he was abused a lot by Dark Sun.

Nexus honestly isn't that close with Sun, less than before. Moon doesn't want him around Sun, and Nexus doesn't like looking at him because it makes him think of Dark Sun.

Monty dies idgaf. Bitch dies, Moon realizes how much of a bitch he is and hat he isn't good for Earth and confronts him and Monty tries to fight him and Moon kills him. No more Monty <3 (second au I've killed off Monty now)

Lunar isn't the biggest fan of Nexus but he gives him a second chance. He hates that he's dating Eclipse tho.

Moon eventually starts warming up to Eclipse. And Nexus, though that takes longer.

Uh- Sun and Bloodmoon are in a qpr- yeah-

Qpr blood/sun:

They met after [insert dead brothers name here] died. The remaining bloodmoon brother was incredibly vulnerable and terrified without counterpart. Sun, against his better judgment, reached out with help to them. They were suspicious at first, but eventually accepted.

They grew closer and the twin practically became like a cat to Sunny. They slept in his bed with him, and was by his side often. The family repeatedly asked if they were dating, but they denied it each time, sometimes even seeming kind of grossed out by it. Cause they weren't dating, it was a lot more complicated than that

Eventually Eclipse helps and they figure out how to bring back the dead twin. They Are… unsure, at first. So much as changed since they're death, and him and their twin were still separated… and the person who killed their original virus was so close with their brother? It was an uncomfortable situation, but they ended up becoming comfortable with it too, though wasn't as docile as their counterpart, much more talkative, talking for their twin usually

Solar and Moon:

God they're beasties. Bffs. It makes Nexus really insecure, but they're still friends. They talk about their Suns and their inventions and things. Sometimes they'll just quietly work together cause they're both bad at talking

They mostly avoid the topic of Nexus and Eclipse cause Moon can't stand them, but once Moon accidentally slipped an insult/a bit of shit talking and Solar just snapped. And yelled at Moon about how he should empathize with Nexus. He stormed off after. 

Later he tried to anxiously apologize to Moon but he just reassure him that he was right, and tried his best to give Nexus a bit more of a 2nd chance

Solar once, as a prank, painted an aroace flag on the entirety of one of the walls of Moon's room with washable paint. It took forever to get off and Moon made Solar do it. Eclipse was laughing the entire time both at the prank and his bf lmao.

How I would go about Full Moon and Apology Tour.

Since I can't seem to get it out of my head, I just thought I'd share my take on how Full Moon and Apology Tour would go.

SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT! Enjoy.

Instead of Stolas just springing the crystal on Blitzø, he calls him in advance and tells him that they don't have to have their usual "transactions". Instead, he tells him that he wants to trade the grimoire for a present he got him.

When Blitzø gets there and gets the Asmodean Crystal and Stolas confesses his feelings for him, Blitzø thanks him for the gift, but tells him he needs time to think about things first.

Blitzø is left feeling confused and miserable, so Fizz decides to take him out so he can blow off some steam. Blitzø ends up meeting a cute incubus guy (not the "Better Than Blitzo" Guy who I have affectionately named Brian), and at first, things are fun, but then, as they're getting in bed, Blitzø realizes that he can't sleep with him with Stolas on his mind...and even worse, his self-hate issues start coming out again.

Blitzø ultimately calls Stolas and tells him that he does love him, but he can't be with him because of that.

Stolas is confused and heartbroken by this, and Blitzø, unfortunately, doesn't explain things any further.

Taking this as a sign that they're broken up, Stolas decides to go to Verosika's party if only to get back at Blitzø.

Of course, Blitzø goes there when he finds out about the party, but instead of trying to make Stolas leave, he just quietly follows him around in disguise.

When he hears Stolas sing about him, Blitzø realizes that he really needs to work on himself before he can even think of being with Stolas at all.

Verosika spots Blitzø, who tells her that he's genuinely sorry and explains to her that if he can't love himself, how is he supposed to love anybody?

Verosika realizes that Blitzø really means to change and she decides to wish him luck when he reveals that he's going to be getting some professional help.

As he sadly watches Stolas dance with Brian, he quietly hopes that he'll be happy before he leaves.

As for Stolas, he and Brian decide to go upstairs and have a little fun of their own, but just as they're about to, Stolas starts crying as he realizes that he can't do it because Brian isn't the same as Blitzø, someone who Stolas knows.

He goes out and starts crying on the stairs, and as Verosika sits with him, Stolas explains that he just wanted Blitzø to fall in love with him after he got him the crystal. Instead, what he got was even more strife and heartache and he was tired of it.

However, when he starts listing off all the times he called Blitzø all those pet names, Verosika realizes that Stolas had messed up, as well, making him realize that while he hadn't intended to, he hurt Blitzø just as much as Blitzø had hurt him.

It hits Stolas that he also needs to change how he acts. It's not enough that he and Blitzø have decided not to make every meeting they have about having sex. They have to work on themselves before they can even begin to have a true relationship.

Not just that, but Stolas also needs to change the way he treats imps and lesser demons in general, or else Blitzø will think that he's not even trying when he is.

For now, they decide to stay apart and heal until they feel ready, even if it takes a while.

Hi spurgie. I don't know if you remember me, but I was the anon from 2 years ago who had their first kiss at 25 and subsequently started dating him after. Well, last night he broke up with me, and I just don't know what to do. I feel like it came out of nowhere, but he feels he drifted too far apart from me. This was my first relationship, and it might sound naive but I truly thought it was forever. I know I shouldn't but I feel stupid to think someone could love me for the rest of my life. I still love him so much. What's worse is he was so kind and gentle about it. I wish he wasn't such a great person. I wish I could hate him but I don't. We still wanna be friends, and we share the same friend group, but it's gonna be really hard. I don't want him out of my life but I'm really hurting right now. I know I shouldn't hold onto hope that we might get back together in the future, but right now I can't see myself with anyone else (again, naive, I know). Sorry for the ramble, I just don't know who to turn to, and you've always been so kind.

Aw well first, I'm so sorry ❤️ breakups are always hard but the first one always hurts especially bad. I can't emphasize enough how normal those feelings you've described are though, they're not naive at all. Thinking about past breakups I've been through or sat with others through, it's big grief for a while, combined with that hopeless "I don't ever want to be with anyone else/no one else will ever be as good as them" feeling, combined with fighting the adjustment to someone's role in your life changing, and it can be a rough ride ngl. I know that sounds daunting, but it did help me a little in the moment to know many, many other people have felt exactly how I felt at the time bc when you're in the thick of it, it can feel very lonely and isolating, so I mention it just in case it's also helpful for you to know that.

My best advice for the first couple of days is just to ride it out and feel whatever it is your feeling at the moment, because it is kind of a grieving process and like grieving you need to get the big feelings out to be able to process it. Keeping your mind busy is also really helpful, it's ok to wallow for a while but if you get the chance to do something pleasant, or even just sit with someone instead of being alone, I found that super helpful. My last big breakup I spent a full 2 weeks at my parents house and in my free time I just sat with them (and cried on them lol a LOT) watched movies, played board games, etc. Even just having a conversation on the phone when the feelings start bubbling up again can be very cathartic.

Right now it might feel like you will never feel better, or never find anyone again (or want to), but that's just part of the grief and as impossible as it might sound, that starts to fade faster than you think it will. I know you mentioned you want to stay friends and I don't think that's impossible but it's probably a good idea to avoid seeing them just for the time being, because that can be like picking at a scab on a healing wound y'know? It can be confusing and stressful and hinder the healing process, at least in my experience. Same for communicating.

But yea I promise it gets better ❤️ this relationship not working out does not mean you are impossible to love forever at all, it just means that this wasn't the right person to do it, most of us just need to do some trial and error before we find that person. And tbh I think people who have been through trial and error can ultimately end up in healthier relationships, because experience makes you learn more about yourself/what you are looking for in a person. Be kind to yourself for now ❤️ this too shall pass, it will be ok.

So I feel like I've been a little harsh on one A du Mortain lately. Still not loving that end of book 3 thing they did. Bad idea. Not actually in the MCs best interest. HOWEVER, I can see some of the mental gymnastics going on here (especially with Adam and Ethan, YMMV).

They are starry eyed. Yes, yes they need to constantly remind the MC that they're a squishy slow healing human but the MC also set their heart aflame in a way no one ever has. They need the MC to be strong to survive what this line of work entails. Ideally both physically and mentally but, squishy human, so mentally will have to do. The MC has had so much going on and so far they seem to be doing okay (the books never really let the MC completely fall apart) so it's easy for A to project that or look for all those confirmation biases even when the MC isn't at their best. It's wish fulfillment that creates a blind spot for A.

They need to convince themselves they did the right thing. To some extent A believes, or tries to convince themselves, that emotions like those for the MC are a weakness or dangerous. Only bad things can happen if they go down that road. A knows they're hurting the MC but they hope that hurt is temporary. If the MC is strong, stronger than A, then they'll get over the rejection. They'll pull themselves up by the bootstraps, see things like A does, and they'll have a professional relationship that's not more dangerous than necessary in this line of work. Of course this isn't actually the case but A emotionally really needs the MC to have that strength so again there will be a confirmation bias, especially if the MC is trying to pretend everything is alright when it isn't.

In a nutshell, both before and after the end of book 3, A has blinders on. Either they're so enamored (while telling themselves that they aren't) with the MC that they don't see the cracks forming or, in order to make peace with their choice regarding not pursuing a relationship, A needs the MC to be ok in order for A to feel better about that decision.

I don't think either thing is intentional. I think it has more to do with A being in uncharted territory emotionally and trying to rationalize a way out of it where what they really need to do spend more time looking at and learning about their feelings.
