To celebrate 1.3K subscribers on YouTube, I wanna show off another behind the scenes look at how I do some of my TSAMS thumbnails! Depending on how complex the drawing is, I'll sometimes create my own references in Blender (I'll sometimes do it for non-thumbnail art too). Here's a few:

I love him already , I dont think Mooner i can get away with for a name but Mwah love him... Out here solving problems- being able to pinpoint his emotions a nd express more clearly- maybe sending sun into a bit of a spiral but thats fine. I don't think Sun would hate him for the decision. A lil glad his brother is more emotionally open but thats a progress. Anyway I love that they went 'hmnnn lets maybe help Bloodmoon with his addiction actually' Sun gonna have a field day with that.

unpopular opinion: I prefered when sun and moon were living in the daycare rather than the house

More rambling lol

So with Solar killing the creator, the families reaction kinda bothered me ngl. Solar killed the creator out of anger, without telling anyone, which lead to huge consequences to him and the family. Just like Sun & Lunar. Except the family reacted differently to this. When Sun killed Bloodmoon, he ended up getting locked away by Moon, who heavily disagreed with the whole killing thing and just left him there. Sun later indirectly leads to Moon death. When Lunar killed Eclipse, he was basically separated from the family (the only person to really help him through that time was Solar, but multiple times throughout that, we see him alone in his apartment, so idk if Solar was really there all that much) and had to go on trial and was in huge trouble with the astrals. Yet when Solar kills the creator, the family doesn’t care? Like what happened to “don’t kill people guys.” And it can’t be that it’s because the Creator was bad and they all hated him. None of the family liked Bloodmoon, same with Eclipse. This show is really weird with when and when it isn’t okay to kill the bad guys. It’s okay for some people to kill others, but when others do it “OH NO, why would you do that? That was horrible.”

Also, quick question. Why did none of the family (except for Solar) check up on Lunar after he killed Eclipse? Like he was definitely not doing good and probably shouldn’t have been left alone, and yet no one was really there. Sun and Moon (well Nexus ig, but he was Moon at the time) never checked up on him for like anything. When he got attacked by Bloodmoon, neither of them physically checked up on him. We know that they cared because we saw that, but Lunar doesn’t. They just asked if he was okay to Earth and then never checked up on him. It’s stupid. It kinda feels like they never wanted him around, at least for Nexus. The dude would rather build a secret bodyguard to watch over Lunar, instead of y’know, inviting him to live with Sun and Moon and keeping an eye on him?! Like it makes sense that Lunar developed the whole “why should I help when it’s gonna be fixed in a week” thing, cause both Sun and Moon never really checked up on him when he was going through something. Only Solar and Earth did (as usual, the reward of best family members goes to them).

(I do go on a side tangent that contains a lot of personal opions that arent on the subject of the original post) So glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Everything's been a bit bleh minus ig the corrupt Jack arc kind of? Also can we talk about how fast some of the plots go and with out much happening or consequences? Like for example, Suns grieving kind of felt like a 180 sometimes cause some ep's he's fine, others he's an emotional reck. (yes I understand severe mood swings when greif stricken but this man literally killed his own brother and like half his family seemed to not care at all and some how he's kind of cheery one day but a broken shell the other). Lunars DSP Arc was getting to something but kind of turned out meh. A bit to quick once again. I kind of wished it stewed like Eclipses long long villain arc (doesn't have to be the same length but still). Nexus did nothing. And Dark Sun did one thing that supposedly did a lot to other universes but like? Why hasn't that been discussed at all? It's all just been beh and kind of rushed and nothing at the same time. It feels too slice of life. They are hardly at the daycare anymore too which is jarring to me cause they did basically everything there.

Has anyone felt like Tsams have become bored lately or just me? Like sure it gets the tension, but all the things just... Not interested like before?

Maybe it's just my imagination.

Like they keep getting in some random crazy things but it's not funny, it is not lore. It just... Bleh.

Like I miss when Eclipse just shows up, that dude is a terrifying hot sexy Tumblr guy mess. Even Sun has more moments to shine, like when he tries to contact Moon who was trapped inside Lunar head, or when Sun tries to kill Eclipse.

But now... Sun is just being a dad. Still fun, I love Dazzle so much (I am also terrified the angst will come for her soon.) but it just eh... We haven't seen Alast, I miss that silly hat, and we don't know what the deal with Sven???

And how Creator, the ultimate babygirl, just gets killed that quickly and then becomes another puppet for someone.

Moon if he is not getting deep into his self destruction then he just built things...

Everything just does not link with others like before anymore .
