The imposing headquarters of the International Hero Commission in Japan was a stark contrast to the familiar halls of U.A. High. Its cold, marble floors and towering glass walls reflected the austere nature of the work conducted within. This was where the world’s most elite heroes were trained, where decisions that affected the global hero community were made, and where missions of the utmost importance were planned and executed.

As Endeavor, Bakugo, Midoriya, and Todoroki walked through the wide corridors, their footsteps echoed ominously. They were summoned to face the consequences of the previous night’s mission—a mission that had gone far from according to plan.

“Stay sharp,” Endeavor muttered, his voice tinged with frustration as they approached a large, ornately decorated door. The plaque beside it read Johanna Lees, Superior. Endeavor had faced numerous challenges in his career, but the weight of this meeting pressed down on him like never before.

The door creaked open, revealing a spacious, dimly lit office. The walls were lined with bookshelves filled with tomes on international law, hero tactics, and political strategy. A large desk dominated the room, behind which sat Johanna Lees, the Superior of the International Hero Commission in Japan. Her presence exuded authority, with her sharp eyes scanning each of them as they entered. She was a woman in her early fifties, with silver hair tied back in a neat bun and an expression that could shift from warmth to steel in an instant.

In front of her, seated with perfect posture and a composed expression, was Luna. Her dark brown hair, streaked with subtle red highlights, cascaded down her back. As she spoke to Johanna, the boys couldn’t help but notice how different she seemed—no longer the girl they knew, but a fully grown and capable hero.

Luna’s voice was steady as she reported the previous night’s events. “As I was saying, Superior Lees, we disseminated the information to the Japanese Hero Commission and all hero agencies within the city, clearly stating that no one should interfere with our mission. We received acknowledgments from all parties, including Endeavor’s agency. Despite this, Endeavor chose to intervene, which complicated the situation and made it significantly harder to apprehend our primary suspect.”

Johanna nodded thoughtfully, her fingers steepled as she listened. “And the outcome?”

“The suspect we apprehended was not the target we had originally aimed for,” Luna continued, her tone professional and precise. “Their capture did yield some useful intelligence, but our main target is still at large. My team has been working non-stop to track them down. We believe we may have a lead.”

Just then, the door opened, and Mamoru Monoma stepped in, his presence as composed as Luna’s. His golden hair caught the light as he approached the desk, and there was a slight urgency in his usually calm demeanor. “Luna, we’ve located the lead. We need to move quickly.”

Luna stood up immediately, her chair sliding back smoothly as she turned to face Johanna. There was a subtle tension in the air as she waited for permission to leave, her focus solely on the mission.

Johanna met her gaze and gave a curt nod. “Go.”

Without another word, Luna and Mamoru left the room, their movements in sync as they exited. Luna’s hair swished behind her as she walked, the red highlights glowing like embers against the dark brown. The door closed softly behind them, leaving the room in a weighted silence.

Endeavor, who had been silently fuming, finally spoke up, his voice a low growl. “What’s the importance of this mission? Why all the secrecy?”

Johanna’s demeanor shifted instantly. The warm, almost maternal presence she had shown Luna was replaced by a cold, unyielding authority as she fixed her gaze on Endeavor. “You compromised an operation of critical importance,” she began, her voice sharp. “This mission isn’t just another case, Endeavor. It’s an international effort to dismantle one of the most powerful human trafficking organizations in the world. Children are being kidnapped from across the globe, their lives destroyed, and you almost ruined our chance to end it.”

The room fell silent, the gravity of her words sinking in. Endeavor’s eyes widened in shock, the realization of his blunder hitting him with full force. He had been so focused on the immediate threat, on being the hero, that he hadn’t considered the bigger picture.

Bakugo, Midoriya, and Todoroki exchanged uneasy glances. Midoriya, always one to ask questions, tentatively raised his hand, his voice filled with concern. “Superior Lees, are we… qualified for a mission like this?”

Johanna’s lips curled into a faint, humorless smile. “Qualified? Luna and her team are more than qualified. They’re already fully graduated pro heroes on the international level. This isn’t their first mission of this caliber—it’s one of many.”

Endeavor’s shock deepened, and for the first time, doubt crept into his eyes. He had assumed he was dealing with mere students, still learning the ropes, not realizing that Luna and her team were operating on an entirely different level.

Seeing his disbelief, Johanna stood and gestured for them to follow her. “Come with me.”

They walked through the hallways until they reached a large operations room. Inside, Luna and her team were gathered around a digital map, discussing tactics in low, serious tones. The room was filled with the soft hum of technology and the quiet murmur of voices, each member focused on the task at hand.

“Luna’s team is currently planning their approach to arresting the main suspect,” Johanna explained as she watched them work. “Their every move is calculated, their every decision backed by years of training and experience.”

She then turned to face Endeavor, her expression hardening once more. “Let me make this clear: while the Japanese Hero Commission may have summoned you, an order from the International Hero Commission takes precedence. You’re facing the very real possibility of suspension from hero work, Endeavor. And the same goes for your interns.”

A palpable tension filled the air as Endeavor and the boys processed her words. Bakugo’s usual bravado wavered, Midoriya looked like he was about to pass out, and even Todoroki, who was usually calm and collected, seemed to falter.

Johanna let the silence hang for a moment before calling out to Luna. “Luna, come here.”

Luna, still deep in discussion with her team, paused and then excused herself before walking over. She stood before Johanna with an air of calm authority that belied her age.

“What should we do with Endeavor and his interns?” Johanna asked, her tone one of genuine inquiry, as if Luna’s opinion was the only one that mattered.

Luna didn’t hesitate. “They should all be suspended. However,” she added, glancing at the boys, “because of the confusion created by the national commission, Endeavor should receive a formal warning, and the boys should walk away without punishment. International relations and law are taught in the second year of hero studies, and they’re only first years. They had no way of knowing the protocols that applied in this situation.”

Johanna considered her words carefully, then nodded in agreement. “Very well.”

Luna gave a slight bow of respect before turning to leave. As she walked away, her expression remained calm, her mind already returning to the mission at hand.

Johanna watched her go, then turned back to Endeavor and the boys, her expression unreadable. “Luna just saved your asses,” she said plainly. “Remember that.”

As Luna disappeared into the throng of heroes, Endeavor and the boys stood there, still processing everything that had just transpired. The reality of how much they had underestimated Luna, and the gravity of the situation they had stumbled into, weighed heavily on them.

Todoroki, however, was fixated on Luna’s retreating figure, his eyes filled with admiration. He was captivated by the way she carried herself, the confidence in her step, and the way she had commanded the room with just a few words. He had never seen anyone reduce his father to silence like that, let alone someone his own age.

And then, breaking the silence, Todoroki spoke up, his voice filled with newfound determination and a hint of something deeper. “Where is Mother’s wedding ring?”

Endeavor looked at his son, confused. “What?”

Todoroki’s eyes never left the door through which Luna had exited. “I’m going to marry that girl.”

Bakugo’s reaction was immediate. “What the hell, Icy Hot?!” he barked, his voice bristling with incredulity.

Midoriya, equally shocked, stammered, ��T-Todoroki-kun! You can’t just… I mean, she’s…”

But Todoroki was unfazed, his expression softening slightly as he continued to stare in the direction Luna had gone. For once, Bakugo and Midoriya were left without a retort, their protests dying in their throats as they realized just how serious Todoroki was.

Johanna, watching the exchange with a bemused expression, shook her head slightly before turning back to her office. “Good luck, boys,” she murmured under her breath, leaving them to grapple with the aftermath of their encounter with Luna.

The weight of her words, combined with the realization of what had just transpired, left Endeavor and his interns standing there, speechless and star-struck. The world they thought they knew had just expanded, and Luna was at the center of it, reshaping everything they thought they understood about heroism, power, and authority.

Jordan Evergreen [BlackLight]

The hero of LightBeam City, Guardian of the DimLite slums, BlackLight is a force to be reckoned with when he’s paying attention, he’s also the protagonist of my upcoming book. Jordan Evergreen is a carefree friendly guy, a research assistant, and a dimwit. His powers are he can turn anything he touches into smoke, and form that smoke into anything he can imagine (as long as he understands how the thing works. That’s why he sticks to melee weapons or chains/whips of different kinds.) there’s more info, but that’s being saved for the book.

Agent Michigan (Raluca Hanes) [RVB OC]

A member of Project freelancer, a master at many useless talents, and the creator of something he calls “grapple tagging”. Yes his main weapon is a grapple, and somehow it’s more effective than a gun when he’s using it. Raluca also didn’t get a fragment of the alpha, much like many of the freelancers, so he stole an ai from the UNSC and used that (in the process of stealing it, he broke something on the ai and now all it can do is play music and turn on his suit’s AC). Raluca is an intelligent idiot, basically he’s like the missing evolutionary link between church and caboose.

Adam Braxee [ORIGINAL OC]

Owner of “Adam’s amazitastic Diner + Bar” and brother to a scientist with a huge god complex, Adam is about what you expect from an immortal diner owner (will elaborate in the next character description). He looks young, but absolutely acts his age. In his time of owning the diner, he’s had to fist fight drunk patrons and robbers alike (getting himself plenty of scars in the process). However That’s just in the canon world. In the extended multiverse (which is non-canon), he’s had to fight off zombies, truck sized robots, and even his own brother being possessed by a maniacal Ai. (Might rewrite some of those stories).

Brian Braxee [ORIGINAL OC]

A Scientific genius, majoring in biology back in the 40s, and being kidnapped by the German remnants to be exposed to alien Microbots (bc that sounds cooler than nano bots to me) that gave him supernatural abilities. The Microbots increased his intelligence beyond any human on his earth, as well as giving him rapid healing and halted aging. After escaping and returning home, Dr. Braxee gifted his brother Adam and his business partner Dr. Gabriel Bell their own Microbots so they could live way past their expiration dates to build the future. Together they formed The Omega Agency as well as building bases on the border between Alabama and Florida, and one on the moon. Dr. Braxee, with all his intelligence, is also extremely paranoid and untrusting towards anyone that isn’t Adam or Dr. Bell. That, along with his ego and borderline God complex, has led to many accidents and containment breaches like the release of the Draugr Virus. But at the end of the day, Dr. Braxee is just another super genius doing his best to improve the world . . . One catastrophe at a time.

Mason Coal [MULTIFANDOM OC]

Part time paranormal investigator, part time journalist, full time danger searching Florida man. Mason grew up surrounded by many strange and supernatural things happening around him, although nobody believed him. As he grew up, he began to research all these things he grew up with. His investigations and journalism has taken him all around the world, and into many different dangerous situations. From vampires to yokai, Mason has survived so many different deadly encounters it’d make BlackLight blush. Mason has no survival instincts, but he makes up for it with his charm.

A Green armored sim trooper with about as much intellect as any other sim trooper. Brax likes standing on the cliffside and staring down at his team…s graves. Yeah, a freelancer came through one day and sorta left him the only survivor (only because he was out somewhere) so now he just runs around his base acting like they’re all still there.

Extinction: The Lich (Adventure Time) "The Lich is an immortal and evil entity within the Adventure Time multiverse who is seen as a key play in the Mushroom War within multiple timelines. It is implied that he was the comet that caused the extinction of the dinosaurs and was within the mushroom bomb, later being released on the land of Ooo when the bomb is detonated (both in the standard timeline and the Farmworld timeline when a possessed Finn smashes the bomb).

He is seen drawing power from a well of toxic green goo and, when possessing PBG, a vat made from “ toxic chemicals such as gasoline, lighter fluid, bleach, and plutonium that he (appearing as the Princess) ordered Finn to retrieve.”

He is intelligent and carefully plans out his extinction events. Since he’s immortal he is content waiting and watching mortals until the right moment to enact his plan of total extinction."

I don't know you, I just saw this on my for you dash and wanted to join in lol. I hope you don't mind!

I feel like this post will be a bit... long... if we include the "something you're imagining for now" lol. But! I will do it because some of these concepts has been living rent-free in my head.

But let's start with the ones that already have some actual progress first!

Heirs of Starlight: a high fantasy story with a hint of mystery, political drama, and some elements of sci-fi (technomancy, i think?). This has like 6 MCs but only 3 POVs. Anyway, the story mostly follows Valeria, the princess and heir to the kingdom of Galavia. During an important dinner event, her father, the king, is poisoned. Valeria then tries to find out who poisoned him. The other POV is Xylena's, the person who poisoned the king. She's manipulated to do so, by means of psychic magic and emotional manipulation. She was disguised as a servant when she did the poisoning, and while she still does everything her manipulator tells her to, she desperately wants to break free of that (but can't). The final POV is Sierra's, the mastermind behind the poisoning and Xylena's "mentor". She's the one who's controlling Xylena, sometimes through possession or just plain manipulation. Since Xylena is a regional ruler following her mother's death and Sierra is part of her mother's council, she has Xylena's trust from the get-go, though Xylena realizes down the line how wrong it is. Basically, the oversimplified version is Valeria trying to find out who poisoned her father, she becomes suspicious of Xylena only to find out that she's mostly innnocent. Other stuff happens too hence the abundance of MCs, but that's the basic premise.

Operation Defiance: it's an interactive fiction, technically not a book, but WHY NOT. It's set at least around 2100s, and the MC is a non-aligned hacker. By non-aligned, i mean they're not exactly an ethical hacker, but not exactly malicious either. They just do what their job wants them to do. Anyway, they do this certain job, and it turns out that the person who ordered the job is from a government organization specializing in cybercrimes regarding artificial intelligence. MC then is forced to join, and finds out they recruited them to go against this corporation that somehow got their hands on a failed (corrupted) copy of a war AI. Now for the concepts, which as of now have no title at all:

Concept one: so, you know how dimensions are a real thing? Like space, time, etc? I thought about how that each dimension has its own deity, of sorts. The deities aren't immortal, however. Instead they're normal humans who were chosen by their predecessors. MC is the new time deity after the previous time deity passed under mysterious circumstances, and the previous deity never chose a successor with how time deities usually live the longest. That's all i've got for now tbh

Concept two: crime family, but make it urban fantasy. There are three factions, the angels, the demons, and the shapeshifters. The shapeshifters are the ones who hold the balance, in a way, basically preventing the angels and demons from revealing their existence from celestial war. The shapeshifters are led by a kitsune/gumiho family. Somewhere along the way, the heiress to the kitsune family finds a seemingly-human woman who was stealing something important, only to find that the woman is actually an angel raised as human; the illegitimate child of one of the angelic families. Can't tell you more than that but it's gonna be pretty gay.

Concept three: some sort of multiverse agency led by a mysterious figure, possibly some sort of deity. Its job is to make sure all the universes happen the way they're supposed to. To do that, they have agents from varying periods and universes. The agents were chosen by how consistent they are througout multiple iterations of universes. Their HQ is in some sort of hidden dimension, possibly in space??? Idk. MC is a new agent. Tbh most of this so far is just a refuge for all my interactive fiction player characters throughout many, many games.... just girlbosses being girlbosses lmao. I don't think this'll have romance.

I'll probably respond again with some art of their lore, but this is currently my sans ocs (in order left to right with a brief description)

1. D-DIN/Gill Sans; he started out as D-DIN, a worker for the Multiversal Intelligence Agency (M.I.A) that originally came from a 1950s detective Underfell Mafia AU. He was sent to Regicidefell to better understand the AU, soon being captured by Alphys as a gift to Papyrus and brainwashed into believing he was Sans to replace the original Sans of that world.

2. Scar Sans; from an original world much like Geno Sans, where in a genocide route he dodged too slow. The entire left side of his face is scarred so he is unable to use magic. He wastes his "afterlife" in a M.I.A void under constant surveillance, they're studying him to try to understand his situational immortality

3. Project Cancelled (P.C) Sans; From the same AU as the creator of the M.I.A, being his nephew. He is from the same timeline as P.C Papyrus and is responsible for the havoc that he is causing across the multiverse. His AU fell apart, now being cared for/working for the M.I.A under his uncle's wing. He can't use magic and his face is cracked and green from constantly having to be healed. His soul is extremely weak and he has to use wires to help control some of his motor functions due to how weak his body is. He's also the oldest of the group, being around 40ish years old (Papyrus being early 20s) he's also definitely a pothead and always has been. He also kinda has a complicated relationship with the Alphys of his universe

4. Regicidetale Sans; The tallest of the group and definitely the strongest when coming to health and stats. He has absorbed two human souls because of the difficult living situation in his original timeline. He comes from an original world, but much like Horrortale it was a neutral route (Pacific until Asgore). When Frisk passed the barrier it caused a cave collapse, killing almost everyone in the capital and causing the core to overheat Hotland and the Waterfall. Undyne took the crown after kicking Toriel out, banishing Sans and Toriel to the ruins. He's the only one of the group who has a child (and an actually good/healthy relationship lmao). He was recruited by the M.I.A for guarantee that Toriel, their child (I don't have a name for them yet 😭), and Papyrus to be safe and well fed. Originally working for P.C Papyrus until he was captured by the M.I.A and held for observation. Regicidetale Sans's AU has reached it's conclusion by the time he was taken from it, unlike many of the group.

5. Project Cancelled (P.C) Fell Sans; much like the original P.C Sans, he's in his late 40s. He showed more compassion to his version of Papyrus and played along with the brotherly role, so when another version of his brother (Original P.C Papyrus) said he could make him immortal for the price of his soul, he took the deal. He's now in hiding from P.C Papyrus after betraying him, letting him get captured by the M.I.A for the promise of protection. Originally he would travel the multiverse, collecting souls (human and monster) and DT for P.C Papyrus. He was unable to die unless the snake in his body was harmed, but P.C Papyrus was the only one that could control it. He soon got sick of the chores, deciding to betray P.C Papyrus for an easier life as a guinea pig for the M.I.A

365 Marvel Comics Paper Cut-Out SuperHeroes - One Hero, Every Day, All Year…

February 8th - The Blue Marvel

The hero known as The Blue Marvel is Doctor Adam Brashear.  Dr. Brashear was born and raised in Chicago and showed signs of his incredible intellectual acumen at a very young age.  He attended Cornell University, going on to earn multiple doctorates in electrical engineering and theoretical physics, while also acting as the star fullback for the school’s football team.   Following graduation, Brashear entered into the United States Marine Corps and saw combat duty during the Korean War where he was awarded two Silver Stars for valor.  During his time in Korea, Brashear became very good friends with his fellow Marine, Conner Sims.  

Following the war, Brashear was recruited into a scientific project based on the research he conducted in graduate school.  He became the lead developer in a project meant to harness energies derived from the Negative Zone (a theoretical anti-matter universe).   Were the project to prove successful, it could provide a near unlimited source of clean energy.  Brashear invited his friend, Conner Sims to be involved in the project.   The endeavor may have worked except an unexpected explosion caused the artificial event horizon to collapse.  Brashear was able to shut down the generators before any significant damage could occur; yet the explosion resulted in both he and Simms being bathed in mutagenic waves of positive and negative energies.    

While Sims' body disassembled into raw energies, Brashear became a stable antimatter reactor and developed a set of superhuman abilities (abilities that include flight, enhanced strength, longevity, invulnerability, and a variety of different energy manipulation powers).  Despite these incredible powers, Brashear felt terrible over the apparent death of his good friend, Conner Simms. 

To honor his friend’s memory, Brashear decided to use his powers to become a super powered hero and protector.  He designed a custom and dubbed himself the ‘Blue Marvel.’  He had a number of adventures and quickly became a celebrated hero.  This changed, however, when the helmet he used to hide his identity was damaged during a battle with a foe.  Losing his helmet revealed to the public that the hero they had so cherished was a Black man; and this revelation acted to further compound the already escalating racial tensions that were occurring during the burgeoning Civil Rights Movement in America.  

The Blue Marvel was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom and then promptly asked to retire.  Torn between a myriad considerations, Brashear conceded and chose to retire.  He cast aside his identity as The Blue Marvel and became a recluse, concentrating on his scientific research.   The intelligence agency, SHIELD, tasked a young woman named Marlene Frazier to keep tabs of Brashear.  The two ultimately fell in love, were married and had two children together.  All the while, Brashear kept his promise and stayed out of the spotlight.  

Many years later, Conner Sims re-manifested, now as a being composed of energy who called himself the Anti-Man.  Driven mad by his experiences, The Anti-Man endeavored on a scheme to destroy life on earth.  The Avengers took on the threat and Iron Man sought out Brashear to aide them in the mission.  Following a tremendous battle, Brashear and The Avengers proved victorious.  

Soon thereafter, Brashear decided to resume his identity as the Blue Marvel and aided the Mighty Avengers in fending off the forces of Thanos’ Black Order.  He then became a founding member of the new Ultimates team, addressing threats on a more cosmic and multiversal level.  Although he ultimately left the team when it was absorbed into the new Alpha Flight program.

More recently, The Blue Marvel engaged in a fierce battle against Dr. Doom.  This was during a time in which Victor Von Doom was trying to act as the heroic ‘Infamous Iron Man.’  The Blue Marvel and Doom ended up joining forces in order to put to an end the threat posed by two different Dooms who originated from alternate universes.  

The Blue Marvel first appeared in the pages of Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel #1 (2008).

So there's a fanfic I've been trying to write for the last several years, and I haven't been making much progress. On average, I've been writing 5000 words in it every 6 months or so. I keep trying to make progress, but it's difficult to find the motivation to continue, since it seems like nobody gives a shit. And it's just a feedback loop of the longer it takes me to write, the less interest there is, and the harder it is for me to motivate myself, which takes me longer to write...

But there's also another project I've been working on: creating a whole bunch of redacted documents about an OC of mine, and then putting them all together in a physical file folder, as if some fictional agency of multiverse space cops has been building an intelligence dossier. The latest document is a 10-page-long transcript of an operation where they tried to capture her, but it went very wrong.

But also, I've been trying to work on a short story about the character I've been playing in the weekly Lancer game. It's called "Scarlet's Last Normal Day on Hell's Gate," and it is exactly what it sounds like from the title: following her life on the station, the literal day before the Class 2 Printer breaks, and the campaign of In Golden Flame kicks off.

But also, I've been stressed about my computer so much that I haven't streamed in over a week. This in itself has caused a slight crisis, because see it's making me question if this whole streaming habit hobby is even worth it. I've been doing it for 2 years, and haven't seen any tangible results. It's just made me more stressed and tired and it takes up valuable time I don't have that I could've been spent trying to write or draw and oh god the streaming is why my hands haven't been working in years, isn't it?

But the computer situation is also stressful. See, I'm just knowledgeable enough about my computer to get me into trouble, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to get me out. I think there's some kind of overheating issue: sometimes, when I play or stream some games, my computer will unexpectedly stop. The fans spin like a jet engine, everything freezes, the monitors go black and display the words "DVI NO SIGNAL" and the only input it will accept is me holding down the power button to force shut down. And it's like, I don't know what the problem is. Is it the case fans that need replacing? Is it a problem with the fans and/or heat sink on the graphics card? Is there a fault in the liquid cooling system? Has the thermal paste on the CPU worn out because the computer is just over 5 years old? Or is it something else entirely that I'm just not knowledgeable enough to even be aware of?

So that means there's the issue of what to do about this computer. Because even getting it to a shop to figure out what's wrong is going to be tricky, as I don't own (can't afford) a car, so how would I get it there? And even if I somehow found a way to get it there and back, is getting it fixed to keep this old bitch limping along for a few more years even worth it? Even before (what I assume are) the overheating issues, it was still showing its age. The computer might be 5 years old, but the graphics card was low-mid range, even when I got it. And it's becoming increasingly clear that 4 tb of space split between 2 hard drives might have been fine in 2019, it absolutely isn't enough now.

But if I decide to get a new computer, the only way I'd be able to pay for it is by pulling money from what used to be the "Emergency Bug Out Fund," an amount of money I had squirreled away in case of "emergency." Problem is, that moment of "emergency" where that money could've been useful already came and went. It's not enough for me to escape the United States. And even if it was enough, I never made a proper plan, because I was too busy surviving. And even if I had enough and put together a proper plan... where the fuck could I even escape? Setting aside how hostile to trans people most of the world seems to be now anyway, the reach of the Imperial American Hegemony is global, and they've proven time and again that they do not give a shit about sovereignty or international law. And it's only going to get worse after the election...

Pulling from that fund feels like me admitting defeat. I'm going to be stuck here in this hostile police state of a country, working until I die, desperately trying to make just enough money to pay off my increasingly absurd ransom rent each month, as it feels like all the things that used to bring me joy are just causing me stress.

I'm so tired.
