Letting my inner child run free and more importantly, helping my non diagnosed but very possible ADHD, I introduce my new hobby, Legos.

Seems I've found something that calms me down and I can actually enjoy watching (more so listening) tv, because I'm not restless.

I loved Legos as a kid and it may play a part in me finding it so comfortable and familiar. I don't see myself making any of those huge Lego sets, so far I feel at home with my doggies.

I've never been into Sanrio/Hello Kitty, I mean they're cute, but it's never been my thing. Well Tumblr has brainwashed me and now I feel like I need to get those Bricks of different Sanrio characters and build them. Luckily I still have quite a few things to build of the gifts I got, so I'm good for now.

I think on some level this isn't only a way for me to relax and focus on something fun. It's also a way to relive good parts of my childhood and be reminded that there was a lot of good, besides the bad that ended up causing me trauma and shape me into who I am today.

I enjoy letting my inner child come out, getting excited about things in a child like manner and sometimes feeling sad in a child like way (tantrums, going "I don't wanna" without much more thought to it) too. It's genuine, more open and feels easier than adulting. It never lasts long, but those small moments I think allow my brain to breathe and handle life better. Children don't look too much into things, they feel, they go through the emotion, they move on. I feel like adults dwell, I do at least, can I blame it on anxiety or something else? Lol

I work with kids now and I already know I'll miss it, when my internship ends. They're brutally honest, they are unable to have a filter, but when they show trust, it's genuine and they trust you fully. They show sadness, disappointment, joy and happiness so openly, it's written all over their faces. We lose that as adults, because we're required to act a certain type of way. I don't think it's necessarily always good. We hide so many things, because it's the right thing to do apparently. I wish more people connected more with their inner child. It's healing something in me, slowly, but I can feel it.

The Peacock (Lucifer)

How he responds to you vs. how he responds to everyone else:

He can't keep his feathers fanned out on full display as much as he wants to because he keeps getting stuck in doorways.

He walks around the house in a slow strut. Sometimes he spins around to show off all 360 degrees of his exquisitely-feathered beauty.

He doesn't notice that sometimes he smacks you in the face with his plumes if you're nearby.

The Crows (Mammon and Karasu)

They both bring you gifts and intimidate the others that try to get too close.

They're even more clingy than normal too.

It's surprisingly easy to tell them apart: Mammon's feathers are tipped with white, and Karasu's eyes have a deep scarlet glow.

The Snake (Leviathan)

He desperately wants to curl himself around your arm or leg. He'll try to keep his space if you're visibly creeped out by snakes though, he doesn't want to scare you.

An alternative you could try is wearing one of his oversized hoodies: he'll curl up inside the pocket and every once in a while he'll poke his head out and flick his serpentine tongue at you.

If you don't like that either, he'll curl up in the bottom of your closet or under your bed, somewhere dark and warm where he can still be close enough to keep an eye on you.

The Unicorn (Satan)

The House of Lamentation wasn't designed for horses or horse-like creatures.

He's the only one Lucifer won't try to chase away, his hooves look deadly.

Satan doesn't fit in your bedroom easily but he'll follow you in the hallways or inside the larger rooms with more space.

You are definitely going to recreate this movie moment at some point before the magic wears off:

The Scorpion (Asmodeus)

He's a bit bigger than most scorpions which means he's even more cute or gross depending on how you feel about them.

He's careful not to hurt you with his pincers if you pick him up.

He must be powerful even in this form because he releases sweet-smelling pheromones when he senses you're nearby.

He curls in the makeshift bed on you place on your desk for him. He's surprisingly calm even though scorpions are usually nocturnal.

His eyes have an eerie pink glow. You didn't notice it until you turned off the lights at bedtime.

(He stares at you until you fall asleep.)

The Fly (Beelzebub)

He's a bit larger than a normal fly.

He's restless and his wings are so noisy when he buzzes around you.

Most of the time you can hear the faint sound of his wings coming from the kitchen.

When he's not eating, he's usually hovering on or near Belphie.

The Cow (Belphegor)

He barely fits in your room and he snorts irritably when you raise your arms up and remind him that he is definitely not allowed to sleep on your bed like this.

He's even more annoyed because he can't go up to the attic like this either.

He just happens to plop down in front of your doorway to sleep instead. The others can't climb or go around him easily. He flicks them away with his tail when they try. He doesn't mind if you climb over him though.

Manfred asking where babies come from.😅

Hey, he's a curious boy! You know he asks it with point-blank delivery, and 99% of the time, Emmrich is more than capable of providing a perfectly accurate and anatomically correct answer. He'll provide diagrams, all without so much as a blush. In his mind, there's nothing embarrassing about anatomy or procreation, and sexual behaviors are perfectly normal. Plus, I mean ... it's not like it's knowledge he has use for. It's not like he's a horrible boy

I can see the conversation starting in so many ways. Some humorous. Some somber. Some embarrassing, haha.

For example, if the team is passing through a town and Manfred sees a woman nursing her baby, he might point like:

"Tiny! Human?"

And Emmrich, after apologizing to the woman for Manfred pointing at her, gently corrects him, "That is an infant, Manfred. A newly born human! A baby."

"Baby? Baby! Cuuuute!"

"Ha! Very much so. Hmmm, that's right. I suppose you've never seen one before. No wonder you're curious! It's perfectly lovely to pay compliments to others, but please remember your manners and take care to not point next time, okay?"

"Okaaay!"

After all, Emmrich and Manfred mostly keep to the catacombs of the Necropolis, and there aren't many births there, haha. There are wonderfully staffed and clean medical wards, cozy homes, and other places for that.

Another possibility, albeit a macabre one, is that Manfred sees a baby for the first time when Emmrich is tending to the last rites of a group of victims after a terrible accident. Sad, but not impossible, considering Emmrich's line of work.

Now, the favorite option, imo? If Manfred asks at a completely inappropriate time.

Imagine Rook and Emmrich announcing to everyone that they're having a baby. I see them (him especially) favoring a more intimate approach, where they tell everyone the news individually.

When they tell Manfred, he just sits there for a moment before saying, "Baby?"

"Yes," Rook says, patting her belly. She's a few months along, but Manfred wouldn't have known what that meant. He just saw her tummy changing shape, nothing more.

"In a couple months, you'll have a new sibling! Isn't that exciting?"

Manfred leans forward, staring at Rook's stomach from a very close distance. Then, very gently, he pokes her. She laughs, and Emmrich encourages gentleness. "Carefully, my boy. Very gentle."

"Baby ... whereee?" he asks Another poke. "NO baby!"

"Well, it hasn't grown yet!" Rook says. "Well, not all the way, anyway."

"Growww?"

The realization hits both of them as Rook gives Emmrich an amused smirk. "Ah. You haven't had 'the talk' yet, dearest? That's surprising."

"Well, um ... why would he need to know?" Emmrich offers meagerly and with a little blush.

"Emmrich! Your own boy, walking around without basic anatomical knowledge? I'm positively shocked."

"He's a skeleton! He's never asked, and I'll confess, I had no reason to really think about it. At least not before meeting you."

"Aww, how sweet."

Meanwhile, Manfred is not satisfied. "Where? Howww?"

Rook lets out a delighted guffaw and Emmrich sighs, his cheeks now undeniably pink. He mumbles softly against his hand, "Oh, dear."

You see, explaining sex and procreation is all fine and dandy when they're concepts between to hypothetical people. But, explaining it to Manfred when Rook is pregnant involves a little self-admission. Something pretty much any parent could feel awkward about, I'd imagine, haha. It's already a big topic (so big that there are some adults that are even ignorant to how it all works, sadly) AND you add the caveat of Manfred knowing his parents did that deed. And Manfred isn't known for being timid or keeping secrets well, haha.

I imagine that's a LONG night of answering questions (lots of repetition) but ends with Manfred laying his head over Rook's belly and hugging her softly.

As for Opaisley facts? Hmmm...

Much like stated in the game she's a trash collector! But her favorite type of trash is trinkets and toys! She likes little figurines, puzzles, and little stim toys! Rolo is more into food trash. She met Rolo as a kid and the two have been inseparable ever since! I think that maybe they toyed around with the idea of dating in their preteens but quickly realized it wasn't for them, especially as Rolo was coming to terms with aromanticism. Opaisley is often considered very cute by those around her, but people are usually turned off by her affinity for trash collecting and messy/dirtiness. Her name is technically just pronounced "Paisley" but she doesn't mind if people say it as "O-paisley"

charlie drags her dad aside the next morning "Dad I need wings it's important don't ask why but can you please help please" and shapeshifer luicfer's delighted like "OH YOU ENJOY CHANGING YOUR LIVING FLESH VESSEL TOO?? GOSH GOLLY THIS IS ANOTHER PERFECT FATHER DAUGHTER BONDING MOMENT!!!" charlie stops him right there "Dad no I don't want to grow the wings myself there's already a specific pair I want" which has lucifer doing the supportive but confused "??? Okay char-char? What... what wings did you had in m-" charlie holds up the limp wings of her mom's ex / her girlfriend's shitty ex employer "These ones. Don't ask." - "Wh.. why those ones-" - "DAD PLEASE I SAID DON'T ASK."

he doesn't ask. he tries not to think about it either. after all it's a fun chaotic creation request from his daughter and tbh the idea of her having rubber ducky colored wings is very cuuuute to him so it's pretty easy not to think any further past it than that

until he sees a thrilled charlie on her way, leaping and almost crashing out the nearest window before her angel gf swoops in to catch her. seeing chaggie together reminds lucifer of him and lilith, like always, and he sighs in wistful happiness, like always- until he freezes in a cold terror, shaken to the core by the sudden knowledge that he might someday have to explain to his estrange wife why their daughter is flying around on the wings of the dead guy his wife rejected once and who sent murder angels down to kill their people every year for funsies

... on second thought, lilith might be the MOST excited about that of anyone. Or, almost anyone, if the emotionally scaring sounds of chaggie fliting mid air are anything to go by
