You know I keep seeing interpretations of possible post-canon Loop integrating into the party. And like how they would interact with said party, but like I feel like there is one aspect of the dynamic people seem to miss out on- which is a shame because it’s one of the most interesting to me.

From the parties perspective Loop is a ‘star’ that Sif met when he was stuck in a Time-Loop. So that means the party is aware that Loop was also stuck in said time-loop. I want to see the party trying to figure out how to help and accommodate Loop’s Time-Loop trauma, because I know this would drive Loop insane. Like imagine alternate versions of the friends you’ve seen die over and over (who Loop definitely feels they’ve failed) and trying to accommodate you because they think you’re traumatised from a COMPLETELY SEPARATE time-loop. I’d simply go insane actually.

Not to mention Loop would probably grind the parties gears because they would act like they always know what’s best for Siffrin and the party in general. And like- yes they know Sif better than anyone, but from the parties perspective they’re someone who knew Sif for something equilvlant to like 7ish months at most. And they just stroll ina js act like they know what’s best for them, AND the party. And loop is condescending even when they don’t mean to be, so double whammy. But then again Loop and Sif (as far as the party know) we’re stuck in a time loop with only each other for that long. So Loop is now reluctantly the Siffrin expert, which would cause some jealousy from people who have been trying and only somewhat succeeding at getting Sif to open up. Because from their perspective Loop just gets all of Sifs secrets and gets to know everything about them, assumedly because Sif TOLD them everything. (Haha imagine Sif communicating). I think they’d be a bit jealous even if they felt bad about it.

Not to mention the miscommunication of it all- from the parties perspective they have a gap in their memories from a massive amount of time that only Siffrin and a (albeit helpful) stranger. The same stranger who both helped you save your friend, but seems to be in some kind of toxic situationship(?) with said friend, AND acts awkward as hell around you. There are so many conclusions to grab from that, and I don’t think that ‘completely separate Timeloop in an alternate dimension where stranger is also your friend’ is what they’ll come up with. Even smart gal Odile needs some actual information to draw a conclusion.

The most obvious conclusion would obviously be ‘Loop is a seprate person Siffrin grew close to due to the fact they were the only ones who remebered being in a timeloop’ and ‘Loop may have done something to/been wronged by the party in the Loops’.

Honestly you only need Loop referencing them not being a star in the past one time for the entire party to immediately conclude ‘holy shit, Loop also had some kind of wish gone wrong™️ that changed their entire body and made them be stuck to a tree woth only Sif for company for months’

Which isn’t WRONG per-say, but I just think we as a fandom should get more creative with Loop-Party assumptions when talking relationships.

Especially Loop-Isabeau, I want him assuming he said something really mean to them or something during a loop. The Situationship jealously I see a lot is fun too, but I think Isa trying very hard to be nice and make up for whatever he ‘did’ would make Loop have a fucking panick attack out of guilt. I just think Loop should be in the torcher nexus here.

Also! Loop-party strain! I think that the party would have mixed feelings in loop! Because they don’t know that’s Sif, so it’s just looks like to them that Loop so some stranger being unfair to Sif and what they went through (Loop screams). And since is inevitably going to be a bit mean to the party on account of being unwell, and teh fact they don’t really have the advantage of the party knowing and loving them previously. I think the initial relationships are strained, and honestly Loop is probably self sabotaging too. Testing boundaries to see how ‘unlovable’ they can be before they are thrown out. And while the party eventually grow to look past Loos hard edges and grow to love them, I think initially there is some fights and tension. Loop has the ammunition and almost wants to be proven right in their assumption they’re unlovable. But I think the party will realise that they are just like Sif was when they had THEIR metal break down and will see how Sif gets better and opens up (even if just being more expressive) with Loop around. So I think they’ll grow to like loop as their own person! But it takes time

Also Loop and Sif informing the party of each other individual triggers and keeping each other accountable (while also trying to work off being the most toxic co-dependant ass relationship ever)

* I feel 50/50 about the idea of him being a show off for example in MK1 Johnny tends to show off his wealth, fame, movies, everything but i feel like even in this AU if Kenshi did it would make him look insane on one hand he’d do it because of the amount of time he’s spent in this bussines has at least semi desensitised to it but im not sure at the same time cuz i dont feel like it’ll fit his character so idk let me know what you think.

* When Kenshi broke into Johnny’s mansion i want you to imagine the scene where johnshi + Kung lao are walking to Baraka’s village and basically take the dialogue and put it here Kenshi just straight up shit talking Johnny to his face

* After losing to Johnny, Kenshi is absolutely pissed because he’s never failed a mission.

* Johnny and Kenshi’s relationship initially starts off very hostile they bicker argue and insult each other but trough training at the academy they slowly start to put that behind them and it evolves to a sort of rivalry less hating each other and more competitive if that makes sense.

* Kenshi was surprised when Johnny gave him Sento while yes he’s cocky and acts childish Kenshi still feels guilty for all the lives that he has taken while being a part of the yakuza, Kenshi doesn’t feel like he deserves this until Johnny explains his reasonings and slowly starts to put the past behind him and starts hope for a brighter future.

* Because his personality is different in this AU instead of being knows for action movies Johnny is most known for horror and historical films.

* His social media presence is small but he’s still got big fanbase that likes him for his mysterious aura.

* Because of his now more silent personality when Johnny drops movie quotes in conversations it tends to sound more ominous and makes people scared of him.

* Johnny and Cris break up still for the same reason as normal : Johnny’s spending habits and perhaps some looked over alcohol problems.

* Did not understand at all what was going on when Kenshi broke in. Whas this a movie ? A prank ? Or is it real ? Dont look at him because he doesn’t know either.

* Johnny keeps sento to himself not because of it’s monitory gain instead for it’s history and doesn’t give it to Kenshi because he think that he’s untrustworthy.

* Eventually after being in the Wu Shi academy for long enough he starts to slowly open up to the people around him.

* Kenshi tends to rile him up so after a while when he gets annoyed he’ll talk shit back to Kenshi and they’ll be off just bickering (like love birds WHO SAID THAT)

* As for the dreaded Mileena poking Kenshi’s eyes out™ i imagine it goes pretty much the same Johnny realises that Kenshi saved him. Even trough all the bickering and rivalries that they had Kenshi still choose to sacrifice his sight for him.

* After the incident Johnny gives Sento to Kenshi as a token of his appreciation of the man and the sacrifice that he committed.

It’s smaller, has simple designs, the awards that he’s won in his carrier are stored on a shelf in another room, all the items he bought are expensive but in the modern art type of way aka simple shapes, basic colours, some of them are small and don’t take up too much space.

* Johnny and Kenshi have different aesthetics when it comes to clothing Johnny tends to wear more basic and neutral colours while Kenshi if he’s not on some sort of mission wears more vibrant clothing.

* Ok i know this one is basic and practically canon to the fandom but still i gotta do it. Johnny buys Kenshi blindfolds, they tend to differ in colour so Kenshi can match them to the outfit that he’s currently wearing some of them have embroidery on the front(?) to make them fancy.

the thing about small towns is that everyone knows everyone. and they keep up with each other even if they move out. you start popping up around formula one drivers and people are gonna see it. even if it’s just one of them, they send it to all of their friends and family. the first time, it’s a screenshot of you in lando’s vlog, “hey didn’t we go to school with this girl?” and later, when you’re being posted on main at every race, every kid you went to school with is sharing the photos, “how do you think they met?” “which one is she dating?” the guy you went to prom with has an odd sense of satisfaction knowing he got to feel you up after the dance and now you’re rumored to be dating some race car driver(s).

when you get spotted in a club with them getting handsy, it 100% makes its way to your parents. your kindergarten best friend’s aunt sends it to your mom, “honey, is she doing okay?” and you want to die in a hole when she forwards you the texts, “honey, i hope you’re being safe! nancy is worried. send her a text to let her know you’re doing fine. she said she messaged you on christmas and never heard back.”

when the race is back in your area, the whole town is buzzing thinking you’re bringing them back home and they’ll get to meet some celebs. you’d never allow it, you just know the girl you fought with from preschool all the way to your high school graduation would love to tell them any and all embarrassing stories. even stopping at one of the small stores is risky, no telling who is the cashier now.

but if you stay on the back roads you can avoid most of the houses you know, and the rental truck conceals your identity. there’s an old spot you want to show them. you def think it’s secure. it’s got a decrepit house on the corner, no one really knows who owns it so you know the owners won’t be around to yell about trespassers. you have to climb through a barbed wire fence behind it and make your way through some woods before you find the clearing. it’s obvious it’s still the spot for some people, it hasn’t been forgotten since your class graduated. the tradition of debauchery in the woods has been passed on.

there’s a circle full of ashes, the same spot your friends had campfires years before. it’s the first spot you ever kissed anyone, smoked weed, drank. you just planned on driving through the town and pointing out your childhood home, where family lives, the school you went to. you decide on popping by and showing them the clearing last minute because it’s on the way out of town. it’s chilly out and you carried the blanket from the truck to shield you from the evening breeze. lando takes it and lays it across the bed, wants to stargaze for a bit. within minutes of you and oscar joining him, he’s turned it into a makeout session, and then you’re being fucked in the woods in the middle of the night.

the ones hunting don’t even recognize you, they just hear moaning and go to the clearing, expecting to find one of their friends so they can give them shit. they record it, send it to someone who forwards it to others. it’s the way small towns work. “who’s fucking at the clearing?” with a video attached. makes its way around until someone recognizes you or the drivers. then it’s back down the chain, “ohh its the girl from my sisters class, the one dating those drivers. apparently they’re in town for the race this weekend.”

by the time you make it back to the hotel, it’s being shared across the internet. most of the people in your town disregard it, but there are some asshole guys who post it on snapchat, twitter. share it in the gross group chats men have with each other. the f1 fans find it by searching “lando and oscar” on twitter and looking at the recent tweets. then it’s spread amongst them, people trying to figure out if the grainy footage is real, if the audio is real.

the next morning, the mclaren team is sitting them down for a pr course and training them on the responses to give. you stay at the hotel to avoid any and all attention, but the lack of your presence at the track leads to them being asked why you aren’t there.

Neither of them are exactly out to the public. Beau actively goes out of his way to hide any sort of relationship he may have ever had with any men. Seymour’s situation is funnier because he’s not hiding it like Beau is, he just never brings it up. Like he’ll be telling a story and the conversation would basically go:

“Bla bla- and this guy I hooked up with this one time-“

“Wait you’re gay??”

“Huh? Not really, anyway-“

He then never elaborates.

Seymour is the horniest mf imaginable (not really, but he’s got a high libido). Beau is not against it, but he’s nowhere near Seymour’s freakiness (I hate how I said that)

Seymour is way more touchy then Beau is. In public, they’ll hold hands at most usually, but it depends.

They’ve both got issues that they haven’t professionally worked out- I’ve explained in my AU that the state of their relationship is messy. They go from friends to lovers to enemies back to lovers. Once they settled back down together, they both considering getting therapy.

Before they get back together, it’s important to know they never got over initially breaking up. While they both have had their moments of trying to move on, the whole time they felt horrible because deep down they were still in love with each other.

They are doomed by MY narrative. Objectively, I think I put Seymour through more shit-

So the creator of this chart explained that the weapon vs wielder thing is basically who’s the protector and who’s the protected. While they’ve gotten better at balancing out who is who, Seymour is way more defensive in general, while Beau isn’t.

Beau sleeps in robes in the warmer months and silky long sleeved pajamas in the winter. Seymour for a while didn’t bother with pajamas of any kind and usually just sleeps in his underwear or with his clothes still on (Beau bought him new clothes to sleep in)

Seymour acts more jealous of Beau going off to do things without him, but it’s mostly just the separation anxiety from how long they’ve been apart from each other.

They’ve both got some nice rizz (I hate how I said this as well)

They’re both in weird places in society and are used to talking to different kinds of people, but Beau is generally more awkward when it comes to small talk.

What keeps them together?:

In terms of canon things that keep them together, there’s nothing but implications because they’ve got one interaction but it is full of such drama. Also I’ve written an entire backstory for them because I’m crazy about these two.

What is keeping them/kept them apart?:

I’ve explained their whole backstory in another post but I’ll explain their breakup part again here.

Basically, Seymour grew up much poorer, while Beau’s family were filthy rich. They had kept their initial relationship a secret from most people, but since they wanted to get married, Seymour thought it was best if they told their families, which Beau was hesitant about. When they told Beau’s parents, they basically insulted Seymour for being poor. This pissed Seymour off, not because of what the parents said, but because Beau refused to speak up against them and defend them, which made Seymour call the wedding off on the spot.

Afterwards, Seymour ran away from home, and since no one knew where he went, Beau was completely crushed and assumed he had died. After several years, they both picked up acting jobs, and while they never really interacted, they were both made painfully aware of each others existences as they both grew in popularity. While Beau never said anything, he was kinda upset to hear that Seymour resorted to crime.

So in short: the fact they could never really talk to each other normally and settle their problems is what kept them apart for so long.

Like I mentioned, Seymour is way more touchy, whoever there are some exceptions.

I didn’t mention this in my long backstory post, but Seymour has several scars on his head from getting his hair yanked to much when he was a kid. That, plus him being afraid of other people ruining his hair, makes him very hesitant to let anyone touch his head.

While he doesn’t dislike having his legs touched, it more depends the context. He fidgets and stims primarily with his legs.

He’s also very defensive and grew up with a rough background and in a rough neighborhood, so in certain contexts he may view it as getting attacked (particularly in the green areas)

Touch stuff (Beau)

Beau is not as touchy as Seymour and has more boundaries.

Beau in my AU is a germaphobe. He typically wears gloves, so holding his hand is fine, but he gets a lot more reluctant to touch anything he’s not sure is clean when his gloves are off. This also applies to his face. While he doesn’t mind someone holding his cheek, or their hand in his hair, he want nothing near his mouth.

With Seymour, he loves having his waist held. Plus, he’s a dancer and used to do a lot of ballet, so he’s really used to it.

just a normal human doing his investigator job but being absolutely unfortunate enough to end up in grasp of some really fucked up criminal

all it took was a hit on head from back and now he’s at mercy of someone else

he chaotically tries to think of a plan to escape, to live and it’s a such a mess in his head because while he’s cool headed most of the time it doesn’t mean he has no fear

you may be an investigator or another victim, it truly doesn’t matter when your hands are tied and you’re completely locked with some psychopath who you’ve been investigating

hours and then days of him being confined here, barely getting anything to eat, awaiting for supposed painful death while suffering from other things. and then it becomes worse when he realizes he’s not the only one alive for now and he now also needs to prioritize other victim as well. one moment he’s beaten and tortured, next this person forces them to play a normal family at a dinner table presented with meal of extremely questionable origin. and jinchul sits here, hands finally free, and wondering is it a good moment to stab their capturer and go for an escape. but where’s guarantee they’ll succeed getting out from a house they’re not familiar with, where’s the chance door isn’t locked, where’s the chance they’ll survive outside. where’s the guarantee that if they fail they’ll live to see another day.

Like yes jinchul being an investigator in post rewind is amazing but also from personal experience on what some humans are capable of, he’s insanely lucky to have jinwoo’s protection lmao. because it’s insanely easy to go from hunter to victim in this field of work and don’t even get me started on that one case a police officer was abducted by a criminal and brutally tortured to death okay—

Aight I’m bored also I like the new movie so I’m gonna try to guess what the new fellas quirks are!!! (Minor spoilers for the first 15 minutes, credit to @zee-nith ‘s post)

This is pure speculation on what I think the quirks/powers of the movie OCs will be, none of my thoughts are final, because I’m waiting for the movie to make a verdict, this is just fun theorizing!

Dark Might

I think his quirk allows him to copy the powers of others? There are rings that the Gorinni Family all wears, and I think he might be able to create these rings that contain different powers? There’s not too many hints, but a theory alot of people are having is that his quirk also drains him of his life force or power and that’s why he wants Anna on hand? (Edit: It looks like his quirk is energy projection!!!)

Anna

Judging by the promos, it looks like Dark Might really wants her quirk for some reason???? My guess is that it’s either a power amplifying quirk, a reality distortion quirk, or a life force quirk. One thing I’m certain of is that her quirk drains her own life force/energy, due to her hair turning black whenever she uses it. Her quirk might also cause harm to others (judging by 15 minute preview explanation) where when Deku grabs her hand, he starts feeling lots of pain. Maybe it gives and drains life force/power? The flowers might be the catalyst for this, but for now, I’m a bit stumped… (edit: also it looks like she’s leading Deku through a pocket dimension full of purple lights and flowers??? Guessing this happens at the beginning of the movie)

Now this dude is a bit confusing, I’m pretty sure his arm is a prosthetic (unless he has a Lady Nagant thing going on) but if you held me at gunpoint (haha) and told me to give him a quirk hint based off of his appearance alone, I’d say his eyepatch is a little sus, whether it’s a scar or something to keep him from activating his quirk which probably works through his left eye ala Aizawa, also Mamoru Miyano specifically highlighted that he has a teardrop mole which could be a huge stretch but this feels like a hint??? But for an actual quirk I’m not too sure (we haven’t seen any hints so it might be a massive spoiler). Also he has some sort of memory loss (?) which could be a side effect or overuse of his quirk

Now, thanks to the explanation, we know that Bruno’s quirk allows him to create forcefields that slow down time, so he’s solved. Paulo and Simon are tricky, if I had to give them quirks, Paulo gives me vibes that he blends into shadows or has a poison quirk, and Simon gives me psychic quirk vibes???

EDIT: Simon has some sort of quirk that basically makes him a wizard!!!

Ugo and Jill

Definitely some sort of symbiotic relationship going on here, if I had to guess, I’d assume Ugo has a strength quirk (no shit) and Jill has one of three, mind control, intelligence, or telepathy, or they’ll throw us for a loop and give them the most batshit insane quirks idk

I’m stumped on this one, maybe he’s just the planner dude or he has a quirk having to do with the mind? Idk?

Deborah

I’m EXTREMELY curious about her quirk, I made a post mentioning how she and Aizawa’s quirk appearances are similar, BUT, in one of the promos, we see Anna looking super empty as Deborah is holding her by the shoulders, so I think her quirk might either stop the thought or emotion process, is a form of mind control, or hypnosis? She reminds me a bit of a witch or a raven

(Or it IS an alternate form of Erasure and if it is I will explode)

Anyways that’s all of my speculation on what I think the quirks or not quirks are! (I think the rings that the Gorinni Family wears might be their quirks too), so lets wait for the movie and see what they end up doing!

Anywho, this is starting to become a trend but it’s time to talk about me LP boys. I figured I might as well talk a bit about the current time relationships between the turtles since the audio logs are about 8 years or so behind story-wise. I’m not going to talk about them all in one post because that would be a whole mess of formatting, so for now you guys get Leo and Raph.

Hoo boy, Leonardo “Anxiety” Hamato. The absolute fluffball. Out of the younger three siblings he has by far the biggest admiration for his big brother. He still follows Raph around like a baby chick at any social event where they are both present. Considering how much he has seen of Raph just Not Functioning Whatsoever you might think this wouldn’t be the case, but this kid has also seen just how much Raph has accomplished despite what he’s been through. Of course, Leo’s admiration also means the way he talks about Raph can result in some… incredibly confusing experiences for new friends. Leo doesn’t always remember that Raph can be hostile towards people he doesn’t know well. Raph may be kind but he is not nice and that goes double for anyone in their home for the first time. Oftentimes, because of how Leo talks about him, new people will be expecting the sweet older brother instead of the child soldier who grew up being the only protector his brothers had. It leads to some awkward conversations because Leo gets so fucking embarrassed when he forgets to warn people ahead of time. Someone help him lol.

Out of the younger three turtles, Raph is probably the most protective of Leo. The twins may be younger, but those two can and will (happily) stab a bitch when needed. Leo on the other hand will tolerate a bit too much bullshit. He’s a big baby /aff and hates confrontation, so whenever Raph’s with him messing with Leo means messing with Raph. There was that one time where a guy decided to kick Raph’s bad knee, though, and Leo absolutely laid into that dude. The kid has an impressive vocabulary as it turns out, much to Raph’s mortification and Splinter’s amusement. They all know who Leo got it from.

While the twins are off doing their thing Leo and Raph spend a lot of time together. They both enjoy gardening, and Splinter has pretty much given them free rein of the backyard. They’ll be out there for hours taking care of the plants and talking (gossiping, you can’t tell these two shit). When they aren’t outside it’s pretty common to find Leo playing games in Raph’s art room while his brother draws. There is so much body doubling when they need to get shit done, just so much. Oh, these two also have so much blackmail material on each other and it drives the twins insane when they never use it.

What gets me about these people is how transparent they are about just wanting to shit-talk people for liking something they don’t like. I saw one of them going ‘I hope everyone who posts about this show feels stupid now!’ Like… not even ‘everyone who gave money’ or ‘everyone involved in the renewal campaign.’ Just anyone who enjoys the show and talks about it. So many of these people will hear ‘bullying people for being into a show isn’t activism, you’re not being righteous and helping anyone in need by doing it’ and they’ll just shrug and go ‘yeah idc I just like bullying them, it’s fun and I think they deserve it for liking something they hate’ but then they expect to be treated as some authority with the moral high ground lmao. It’s like… get a hobby that isn’t being a dick.

i am going to begin the process of cross posting the stories/fics i care most about (i.e., the fics i’ve downloaded since the election) over to squidgeworld and i frankly don’t give two fucks if it’s called squidgeworld—besides, something like that, that has a ridiculous name, is bound to be good 😂 i think i’ll be doing that all the way to new year’s, especially now that i’m on radio silence with instagram—and let me tell you, it’s actually been kind of nice not getting notifications all the time. i can wake up in the morning and not get an uneasy stomach thinking that the next post will be about alex with whatsername.

i just can’t help but think ahead with this terms of service update on ao3. they don’t harvest your data, sure (mainly because they don’t have an algorithm… in case you needed any more proof of that), and they will protect you, and in fact, that’s their whole raison d’être, but… there’s something about the way it’s presented, though, telling you that they’ll hand you over to the authorities if you’re doing something illegal and we know that trump’s government is going to be… what it is, it’s easy to put two and two together and assume these things. it’s admittedly got me spooked.

squidgeworld, from what i can gather, is made out from the same software ao3 runs on (it’s open source software, so you can do that), created by a guy and his team, squidge. in other words, it’s like all of these new social media platforms that keep cropping up (bluesky, mastodon, threads) except it’s a fanfic + original writing site, it’s an archive (read: no godforsaken algorithm), and it’s a fraction of the size of ao3, which is huge now compared to what it was when i first joined 5 years ago. i like it. it’s quiet. it’s not as cluttered. it kind of feels like moving to a cabin in the woods overlooking the ocean and away from the insanity of the world (i live in the mountains; i’m going to the beach). it also takes the pressure off ao3 which, depending on the fandom, is completely overrun with the tiktok crowd.

i saw a post earlier while i was prepping my queue for this week, saying something like “i’ll tear a book limb from limb but i would nEvEr do that to fanfic,” and… you know what. i’m just gonna say it. fuck off with this. you heard me.

this attitude is why there is so much shovelware shit on ao3 now. this attitude is why you have the exact same fanfics over and over and over and over and OVER!!! again in for example, the metallica, fall out boy, mcr, and 21 pilots tags. this attitude is why there is a surplus of “fics” on there tagged like tumblr posts or tiktok posts and they range from fucking awful to literally nothing. what was once a sentiment that made perfect sense because it is painful to see as an amateur, you are now letting the low-hanging fruit have a run of the place with this. honestly, i feel like people just say this anymore to hear themselves talk.

in fact, i almost didn’t want to write this up because squidgeworld is a smol babe and i want it to stay that way. in fact, i’m going to enjoy the smallness while it lasts.

Ive been here since the quarantine(this is just a new account) so I know a bit(I’m also an internet history nerd so that helps). If any veteran tumblr users wanna chime in feel free to do so! Also please ask questions if you’re confused about wording or anything.

1. Porn bots:

This site has been plagued with porn bots for a long time but during an exodus you’re gonna see a lot of them. There accounts that are mostly empty for a while but then out of nowhere start posting porn and links to very sketchy sites and clog up tags. They’re very annoying to deal with and most users will end up blocking and reporting empty accounts and moving on. Unfortunately new users get caught in the crossfire and will get blocked and reported. Unlike sites like Twitter and TikTok were you can just not post and no one will bat an eye, people will see an empty blog start spam like posts and block them. You absolutely cannot have an empty blog. What you wanna do is fill your blog with posts related to your interests and reblog post you like. Not only is it helping you find your niche of weirdos but also signaling you’re not a bot. The most common first posts I’ve seen are intro posts and art dumps! Also decoration and blog customization also tells people you’re not a bot. Simply changein the pfp and header is enough for most of us tho.

2. Competition vr collaboration:

Unlike most socials tumblr is a collaborative site that loves creative bits and adding onto jokes rather than competition. It’s actually one of the main reasons tumblr and reddit are so intertwined. Competition and followers are not gonna get you anywhere. You’re better off finding a group of weirdos you like and befriending them. If people like you they’ll find you naturally. Also being tumblr famous is like getting buried alive. You don’t want to get famous here, the hate mail game is insane. Quick tip! Turn off annon asks if you don’t want some insane shit in your ask box or are more sensitive to weirdos. I have it on because I’m brave. The SCP community and other collaborative communities and fandoms all thrive here.

3. Tags:

I’ve seen newer users complain about “stolen tags”. You have never been able to “steal” a tag on any social media site I don’t know what they’re talking about. But anyways! Tags are one of the main ways you communicate on this site. Puns, comments, conversation, and more happen in the tags. It’s no longer a system of just finding posts you like. You wanna add something to a post but it doesn’t fit with the rest of it? Add it to tags. You wanna continue a bit or conversation? Tags. You just wanna goof off? Tags baby. It’s not the only communication of course but you will see conversations in the tags. Another tip! Tags will bleed into each other when looking for a super niche topic. Example: The Dr Glass, Glass Doctors, Dr Who, and Glasses tags will all bleed into each other but only when you are specifically looking for new Dr Glass content.

4. Ai:

Here Ai is very frowned upon unless under specific circumstances. Like reclaiming Ai adopts, actively mocking it, and chat bots. If you do post Ai “art” be cautious but you will end up getting mass blocked if we find you.

5. Fandom:

Like I’ve stated before this a collaborative site and as such you’re gonna see a lot of fandom here. Please be careful because mis info, interpretation, and bad faith spread like wildfire.

6. Don’t interact lists:

If you’re not aware a Do Not Interact list(DNI) is a list of groups or people who you don’t want interacting with your blog(s). It depends on the user but the most common ones in the lists are Homo/transphobes, Pedos, racists, sexists, and generally bigots. But remember for the life of however long your on this site not everyone is gonna listen to your DNI and they will interact anyways. It’s just as simple as blocking someone you don’t like.

TLDR:

No empty blogs, you don’t compete you collaborate, tags are important, Ai is generally frowned upon, fandom gets wild, and a don’t interact list won’t always work and just block people you don’t like.

stancy is literally treated as if the ship itself has murdered peoples grandparents. they’re just two hot people!!! calm down. it’s literally the scapegoat of all ships in the fandom.

and like, obviously if stancy isn’t to your taste, that’s fine! i didn’t like it before either. but for some reason people just love to give their unprompted opinions to stancy shippers. i mean, the amount of anon hate they can get alone is insane!
