One of my favorite moments reading acftl was finding out that Jacks' curse was that only people who would never fall in love with Jacks would stay alive, because

It holds interesting connotations in the reason why the curse was broken this time. In the book, Evangeline "wondered if some of the girls had truly loved him. If there had been ones who had believed, just like she did, that their love could be enough to save him, to break their curse. But it never was." With each person who was killed, his belief that his curse would break lessened, until he began using the kiss as a death sentence(like in Legendary) because that's what he now thought it was. So for the curse to break in acftl, we know that he believed in his love for Evangeline as much as she believed in her love for him. While I think that this is pretty interesting on its own, I also loved this piece of information because

It means that Tella was immune to the curse because she would never see Jacks in a romantic light, which is one of the headcanons I have had for the caraval series. I personally don't enjoy love triangles in general, but when I read the Caraval series I never felt like there was one between Tella, Jacks, and Legend. I never expected this theory to be confirmed, so that felt pretty satisfying to me.

hey so how do you think Donnie rise would deal with having a s/o who is the common sense one of the couple? Like donnie over thinks and s/o is just like “sweetie. April’s just busy with work. She’s not avoiding you”. And s/o ends up being right. Or when he’s trying to fix something tech related and he goes over all the complicated variables and s/o is like “Have you tried putting it backwards?” He is none believing at first, but he puts it backwards anyway and suddenly the machine works and he laments in his head about classic donnie overthink. The times when he is right though s/o’s like “Fuck it up! I support you!”?

I like this idea. It’s an interesting dynamic to think about, especially considering how unhinged Donnie is…

Donnie X Logical! Reader [ROMANTIC]

Donnie usually has the most common sense out of all of his brothers, which honestly isn’t a lot. At all. It’s a very low bar to beat.

But you’re the voice of reason in the relationship. You may not be as tech smart as him, but you’re a hell of a lot more logical in other ways.

Donnie overthinks A LOT. So having a partner who’s reassuring and reasonable is something that he would benefit from immensely.

even if he puts up a bit of a fight first…

He doesn’t like the feeling of people being smarter than him. That’s HIS thing, HE’S the smart guy. So sometimes your tendencies annoy him.

He’s not really mad at you, more so mad at himself for not seeing how obvious it was.

His brothers appreciate you because you help calm him down. While he can never truly be tamed, you help keep him in line, in a way.

And the times you agree with him are the BEST.

As soon as you give him the ‘OK’ he is grinning like a maniac.

When you’re not there, he probably thinks ‘what would they do?’ And either do that or completely ignore that. He’s chaotic neutral you guys.

If you’re not with him when he needs advice, he also might just text you. You probably get random texts at ungodly hours of the night.

“Is it really that bad to test my weapons on my brothers?”

Seriously though, his brothers are big fans of you. You help him control his chaotic side. (And also a bit of his brothers too, bc duh.)

He’s not the most emotionally available in general..but he tries to express how he’s feeling further along in the relationship.

At first in the relationship he mainly brags and shows off WAY more than he used to. He wants to impress you.

And maybe hear you say your proud of him

Pro Heroes Mirko and Regulus (Touya Hero Au)

Summary: the average day for pro hero duo Mirko and Regulus (my hc hero name for Touya)

(A/n this duo is my brain baby and I’m so proud 😭😭😭 not a ship, just besties yk)

Warnings: language, violence, general insanity from Touya (ofc)

“Hey do ya see that guy over there?”

“Yeah I think he might be causing some trouble for that store”

“Whatever shall we do?”

Sarcasm was dripping in the air between the two pros, grinning ear to ear as they approached the chaotic storefront. Number two hero Regulus, real name Touya Todoroki, and number five hero Mirko, real name Rumi Usagiyama. Each would tell you they hated the others guts if you asked, but really, the two of them had a tight knit friendship, a trust yet to be severed even by the most brutal insults thrown between the two. 

“Hey there, dumbass” 

Regulus smirked, putting his hands on his hips smugly, a Cheshire Cat grin on his face as he stepped up to the man in question, who currently had the small store’s manager by the collar, and was yelling expletive after expletive. 

“The hell do you heroes want? Gonna arrest me?” The man yelled, clearly enraged for an unknown reason. “Maybe, kinda depends on you” Mirko retorted, crossing her arms.

“I’m here to see my girlfriend, asshole!” The man continued to yell at the manager as he tried to ignore the two heroes on his right and left. “She’s not interested in seeing you, you creep! And you’re not her boyfriend, either” one of the other workers shouted by the door where she stood protectively. “Harassing women? Tch” Regulus clicked his tongue, shaking his head with a smirk, as Mirko tapped her foot impatiently next to him

“Can I kick him?”

“Slow down Mirko, I wanna see where this goes”

The man growled at the heroes, shoving the Manager back against the counter with a thud and running past Regulus out the door. “Ugh, great now he’s running” Mirko growled “this is truly a tragedy” Regulus chuckled, shrugging “shut the fuck up” Mirko ran out past Regulus, who followed at a slow pace with his hands in his pockets, a lopsided smirk on his face. 

“Hey you damn bastard! You’re not getting away!” Mirko yelled, catching up to the angry man with ease. She stood in a strong stance in front of him, blocking his exit. The man growled in frustration, his eyes wide as he went to turn around and run back the other way. 

“Stupid idea”

The low voice of the flame hero came behind him, the man’s exit now blocked with an overwhelmingly hot wall of blue fire, which Regulus walked through with ease, his body smoking slightly from the heat. It was a terrifying sight. 

The man turned back around in fear, and was met with Mirkos strong kick to his jaw, immediately knocking him unconscious. 

“You’re under arrest for assault and battery” Mirko said with a grin, proud of her work as she looked down at the man at her feet. “He can’t hear ya, stupid.” “SHUT UP TOU- REGULUS” “don’t need to tell me twice.” They watched police take the man away, already getting tipped off about more trouble in an alleyway nearby, a robber leaving a broken into apartment. Mirko charged in, and once again, Regulus sauntered behind, standing in the entrance to the alley while Mirko beat up the criminal, bluntly cheering her on. 

“Crush his skull with those thighs of yours! Wait don’t he might be into that” “NOT WORK APPROPRIATE DIPSHIT” “IM JUST OFFERING SIMPLE SOLUTIONS”

Dc x Dp Random Blurb #2

I know I just made the first but it's midnight, I can't sleep, and I'm thinking about random things.

Anyway. Siblings. And Pranks.

You know how people always kinda portray Dick as a little chaotic but mainly the one doing damage control for his brothers? Yeah, that's total bs when it comes to siblings.

My oldest sibling most literally tried to convince me to jump off the roof of a church on time. I WAS 8. They also cried when I went on a school trip for a week because they were worried I would get hurt or something.

So. Got me thinking. Dick is SEEN as the tame one by his siblings solely because he's too tired tm to do anything and no one seems to remember him being an absolute gremlin so he's not gonna just out himself when he could cause mayhem later.

Only Cass is vaguely aware of how chaotic Dick can be and that's only because she walked in on him pouring a literal ton of sleeping meds into various things Tim eats while giggling maniacally to himself. Of course, she's not gonna rat him out though, he gives the best hugs.

Either way, no one is aware or remembers how much of a gremlin Dick can truly be, especially being the eldest sibling of many.

In comes Danny. For whatever reason.

Danny LOOKS just like Jason and that tripped everyone up. But when he settles into living with them, they discover that this 'Jason 2.0' is in fact a mini Dick Grayson running around causing absolute chaos.

Dick is delighted by this news and get out of here depression, he must show his newest sibling how to hand from a chandelier long enough to drop a bucket of the most rancid things imaginable onto the first person, minus Alfred, to walk under it.

Upon the gremlin duo having free, acrobatic range, of the house, Bruce is reminded why he questioned adopting his oldest son when he was still younger. That plus the chaos he did with the other heroes in training at the time.

It's one prank too many that Bruce, at dinner, stares dead ahead and just sighs.

"Not again Dick, not again."

Because I think we can all guess who a moody teen who runs around beating up bad guys at night would prank the most if said baby hero had been grounded. Danny's own abilities just seem to make it much easier for the now SUPPOSEDLY adult hero to do the same pranks to his very unsuspecting family.

Of all the tiresome things Illumi had dealt with in his life, having you and Hisoka be his primary source of socialising might be top of the list. He couldn’t pinpoint the exact moment you all started to meet up regularly for various things, nor could he remember when you had self proclaimed yourselves his best friends.

You and Hisoka were both utterly ridiculous, often matching each other's wild energy as if you were on the same brainwave.

Illumi began to question his ‘friendship’ with you when you and Hisoka started debating whether or not ketchup was a smoothie.

“It’s a blended fruit.”

“But you have it as a condiment with savoury foods.” You argued, whacking the magician’s head with a newspaper.

He swatted you away with an amused hum. “That doesn’t change its nature.”

“You don’t drink ketchup.”

“Speak for yourself.”

Illumi quietly listened to his two best friends argue as you all sat round a table.

As he watched the two of you bicker back and forth, he was unable to fathom your unique stupidity. The assassin understood that individually, his friends were incredibly intelligent and capable people. However once together, you two seemed to share the collective intellect of a prawn. 

“Illumi!” The assassin was brought out of his internal suffering by the very source itself. Both you and Hisoka had decided that for some reason they needed a third person’s opinions on your debate. 

“I’m not getting involved.”

“C’monn, please?”

“No.”

“Please?”

“No.”

“I’ll give Hisoka Killua’s number.”

“Ketchup is a savoury condiment, not a smoothie.”

You let out a whoop of victory, fist-pumping the air in your joy. “HA! Suck it Hisoka!”

“That’s no good, he’s biased.” Hisoka tutted, shaking his head and folding his arms. “You know Illumi always sides with you.”

“That’s because he loves me.”

“Unconfirmed by him.”

“Confirmed in his heart.”

“Does he even have one?’ Hisoka shot.

“Do you even have one?” You fired back.

“Touché.”

Illumi sat there locked in a daze, listening to his two best friends argue like children. Yeah, you two were both the biggest idiots he had ever met, but he wouldn’t change you for the world. Of course he would never say this, but it never stopped the two of you from trying. 

And so what if he loved enjoyed having the two of you around? Who would be able to tell anyway?

-They‘re just so good for each other. Luka is such a calming presence in Marinette‘s chaotic life and helps her relax when she feels anxious and unsure of herself, always willing to be there for her and offer a helping hand during tough times. Marinette has a deep appreciation not only for Luka‘s ability to play music but also hear heart songs, as if she understood immediately what he meant after listening to him play for the first time. They feed off each other‘s creative energy and are just generally so wholesome together. I could talk about them forever, they make me so happy!!

Item Number One: Viperhound Is S Tier

This is the fucking duo right here, this is endlessly clever and positive tag team action, this is a pair who will NOT fail the mission alright?

They are designed so interestingly parallel and then put right next to each other in this sweeping shot of the new miraculous squad???

Like, am I supposed to not assume something about it??

Item Number Two: opposites contrast

Orange and Blue, extremely Sun and Moon energy, but I don't think that would make this ship sail smoothly. See, Luka likes being a moon. He is happy to support and enjoys being someone's shining beacon in the endless dark of night, and no one needs that kind of anchor to hold onto more than Sabrina right now. Sabrina cut ties with her best and only friend and while we see her hanging out with other classmates just fine, we don't really know how she is with being actual friends with people. I don't think anyone has tries to reach out to her since evillustrator and we saw in that episode how she approaches new potential connections. Overwhelmingly cheerful and warm and oppressively clingy, like a ray of sunlight that won't leave your eyesight on the hottest day of the year. She means well but, boy, she can be a lot. And more importantly, she needs to be the one helping because, what kind of friend is she if she isn't? Who is she if she's not doing everything for everybody else? It would, amusingly and annoyingly and endearingly, put her into conflict with Luka, who is similarly always pushing his own problems aside to help people with theirs. This would lead them into a loving rivalry of "take care of yourself" "no u" that goes both ways, a back and forth that ends with them reluctantly letting the other help them. And after so many years as someone's shadow, Sabrina deserves to have someone in her orbit, someone she shines a light on when he needs to be seen.

Item Number Three: YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE

Look I'm SORRY okay, but I have to say this even tho I also think their ship got done dirty by the show, I still think they wouldn't have lasted. I think Marinette and Luka being "too easy" is exactly their problem, as even if they didn't have everything else to worry about Marinette needs complexity or she starts to lose her mind overthinking things and goes looking for it. The simple nature of her relationship with Luka is what 13 year old Marinette needed, the Marinette who wasn't Ladybug yet, who hadn't stood up to Chloe and maybe even just had her heart broken in a mean prank. It makes sense she'd fall in love with and gravitate towards this living embodiment of all the comfort and security she wished she had, she had desperately needed at that time. But that's just it, she needed it then. And now she can rely on herself a lot better, she has a whole support system to fall back on, and what she needs from a romantic partner is something else. But Sabrina? She's done horrible things in the name of her friendship with Chloe and even enjoyed some of them, but had finally hit her limit of how much abuse she can both dish out and take herself. Sabrina can definitely recognize that Luka is a good person, but more importantly Luka would have to actually try to sympathize with a person, rather than just immedietely like them. Lest we forget, Sabrina is the one who locked Juleka in the bathroom on picture day. Chloe told her to but Sabrina physically did it. Being confronted with someone who hurt his sister but is, herself, hurting, and is determined to help everyone but herself will be a lot of conflicting emotions for Luka, and Sabrina would need to get used to being the center of someone else's attention in a way not entirely dissimilar to how Chloe was for her, although significantly less codependent.

What makes Lukabrina interesting isn't that they're perfect for each other or that it's immedietly easy.

It's awkward and messy and they clash, they push each other out of their comfort zones and find a new one to settle in together.

It isn't instant or love at first sight, but by resolving their issues with each other through communication, honesty and trust, they are able to become a happy and wholesome couple.

Don't fucking tell me the odds lol, I know they're probably not winning but they deserve a fighting chance. So please feel free to add your own Lukabrina Viperhound propaganda!

There is this Ladybug! Adrien (Lord Beatle) and Chat Noir! Chloè (Shadow Noire) au that has been revolving around in my head for a while now. And while there is a Lot from this au, the one I wanted to ask was about the Chat Blanc episode.

Basically, in this au, Adrien and Chloe never really knew about the guardian, or they do but not about the other miraculous', so they've mostly been working solo. A year and a couple of months go by, and no miraculous in hawkcock's hand, and he is pissed. He contacts Andre, and separates Chloe and Adrien, in an attempt to akumatize Chloe.

And then we fast backwards a bit, and one day Bunnix appears in front of the duo, scaring the shit outta em, and sends them off to the past.

Adrien is confused, there's a bowl on his head, and his best friend soulmate isn't by his back. He's on guard and looking around warily.

"Beat?"

He turns around. He'd know that voice anywhere. And he's even more confused, cause he just saw her get pushed into a different portal. And yet there she is, Shadow Noire. His partner, and yet not. She's different, her eyes look hard and manic. Her suit is white, and she holds herself with some kind of desperation.

She begs for his miraculous. She begs for him to come back to her. And Adrien would give up his life if Chloè asked, and yet the one in front of him isn't his Chloè.

They fight. And it only ends with his Lucky Charm (a sword inspired by an anime they both loved) sticking out of her chest. Her blood coating his face.

Meanwhile with Chloe. She's pissed. Adrien and her finally got a day off with no akuma's and Adrien finally making somewhat of a move on the girl, and Bunnix just ups and yeets them to some future in the timeline. She huffs, ripping off the piece of clothing covering her eyes as she looks around the place.

It's chaotic, and too bright. And Chloe bristles at not having Beatle by her side, hand gripping her staff. Goosebumps raise, hair standing on end. She had a bad feeling.

"Shade?"

She doesn't turn around immediately. Mind taking a while to process the desperation in the tone of her partner soulmate that she just saw a moment ago. When she does turn, she nearly can't believe it's Adrien she's looking at.

He looks frazzled, nothing at all like the put together look he can never truly seem to let go off on both sides of the mask. He's gazing at her with such a raw look of hope and yearning, she nearly stops breathing.

He circled her, something Adrien doesn't do, telling her about how lonely he had been. How he missed her and how much he wanted so long for her to come back to him. He asks for her miraculous and the breath leaves her lungs.

When she refuses, his eyes harden in a way it never had with her.

She tries to forget the words he yelled, voice raw and rage filled in a way it never was with her.

She wants nothing more than to forget the feeling of her Cataclysm on his chest. The feeling of him fading, turning to dust in her arms.

They both go home, and they can't do anything more than hold each other through the grief of killing their other half. They can't be away for more than five minutes for weeks

I really should have clarified this is almost directly after the other Cryptid and Quackity in formal wear arts I’ve done. which I don’t think I’ve ever really explained? because honest i haven’t decided all the details. i just know that a fancy event is held at las nevadas and afterwards the las nevadas crew kinda like, goes around the server? like bar hopping but without the bars? they’re still all deunk though. it’s very chaotic.

They just so happen to run into staged duo (not directly but staged duo can see them, if they actually had awareness they’d probably be able to see them too)

and uhhhhhhh welll Cryptid and Q aren’t exactly.. obeying quaritoine rules?/platonic this pisses both Dream and Punz off. amd wellll Punz is kinda the more confrotational of the two?(he feels like he should fight dream’s battles because he wasn’t there for him in prison)

so he uhhh yoinks his child cryptid. They do not appreiate this. Q also, does not appreiate this. but Punz kept Quackity in his basement for 2 weeks and experiemented on him, safe to say he has the intimadation points. and the height advantage.

Anyway yeah that’s all the context I SHOULD have given. But brain was wprking a mile a minute because dod!Punz is walking contrictions if they were good at pvp. and I love him for it.

to elaborate on that. the guy is one, trying to gaslight himself imto thinking he doesnt want to make out with Dream, two trying to gaslight himself into think he doesn’t care about Cryptid.

which like…. wrong but also he does truly hate Cryptid a bit and is hella jealous of them. He also has tucked them into bed and condsidered for a brief second staying with them when they request him to.

And that’s not even touching how Cryptid feels about him. because he is the reason for aproximately a 4th of their issues. and also their idol a bit.

and they just hate each other but also care about each other in such an interesting mix.

Punz genuinely thinks they are a brat and that they are incredibly dramatic about how bad their lofe is because they have it ”good” in his eyes. but he also genuinely would never want to see them hurt and seeing them with Quackity makes him seeth because their risking their safety and also that their wasting their potential which he begrudgingly admits they have.

But also. he is the only person on the server to have scarred Cryptid(physically I mean), when they first met properly he held a dagger to their throat. they were fine, it’s just a little scar but it was still signifagant. He is also one of the only people to have hit them, the only other person being Quackity, was only once. still happened though.

Sorry this kinda just spiralled to me rambling about dod!punz with no real end point but he’s one of my favorites for just how convoluted he is. i would ramble more. but also it’s 6:30 am and I should go to bed lol.

Gun Park + Goo Kim: Duo headcanons

Fuck, I love these two.

Let's start from the top.

Gun and Goo might not always get on, often behaving more like a bickering old married couple one step away from throttling each other, but they absolutely respect one another.

Begrudgingly so. Meeting someone that can go toe to toe with them does not happen every day.

Being secret friends or successor though, is completely out of the question. They never even considered it in the first place despite Gun ticking most of Goo's criteria and vice versa.

Both completely unhinged and chaotic in very different, often clashing, ways. Finding each other grating, fighting skills complementing each other due to circumstance rather than naturally.

Gun thinks of Goo as a disloyal, flighty and greedy maniac. Whereas Goo sees Gun as a dull stick-in-the-mud who only cares about fighting.

They're both right.

Gun doesn't care much for material goods. He will still buy the best of the best, because why the hell not. However, he does not form any sentimental attachment to it.

Goo is surprisingly similar. Often preferring shopping sprees as a form of a power trip and to show off how rich he is. There is a fleeting thrill of buying something he wants, but ultimately it gets discarded.

Stealing Gun's things, on the other hand, much more rewarding for Goo.

The first time he laid eyes on Gun wearing the striped yellow shirt and scarf combo, Goo knew he had to have it. Besides, it would look much nicer on him, dont you think? What the hell is Gun Park doing wearing such bright colours anyway.

In all honesty, Gun doesn't waste enough energy on clothing to say anything when he saw Goo in his outfit. Although he did roll his eyes and take an extra long drag of his cigarette.

(A/N: I love the idea of Goo stealing Gun's clothes. But I tend to flip flop between how private Gun is, keeping his work and personal life completely separate. )

If the outfit isn't stolen, then it would mean Goo went out and bought the exact same thing... Which is funnier if you think about it.

Because the sheer amount of effort that that takes, finding the same top, same scarf - because why the fuck would Gun tell him where he got it even if Goo did ask.

The fact that Goo takes a significant time out of his day just to fuck with Gun. Truly, what an idiot. Does he have nothing better to do?

Spending so much time together, they pick up naturally on each other's likes and dislikes. Well, Gun does anyway. Goo does most of the talking, and the few times Gun does talk - Goo doesn't even bother to listen.

Unfortunately, that means if someone asked Gun what happened on the latest episode of an anime series, he would be able to recite exactly what Goo has told him, and then afterwards beat them up for asking in the first place.

There's a closeness there that disgusts them both equally with how well they know each other. Music preferences, how they take their coffee. Knowing each other's mood like their own. Ugh.

Life carries on though and there's still shit to do. WIth most of their waking moments spent together, they weave in their own errands between jobs and missions.

At least Goo does. Gun's life is much more orderly instead of a whirlwind of chaos. He is proactive and reactive whereas it appears to him that Goo will just fulfil his own whims as they come up.

Either way, Goo is the one driving and it's his car so Gun has no choice but to go with.

Well. Gun can stay in the car like some sort of pitiful dog awaiting their master's return or join in with Goo.

He usually opts for the latter, and also regrets it too. For example, getting cookies together for fuck's sake. Grabbing ice cream. Ring shopping!

Really, don't let anyone tell you that Gun is impatient. He puts up with far too much from his blonde partner. He can be extremely level headed, often choosing to walk away from things not worth his time rather than waste his energy. There's a lot of hill where he would prefer not to die on where Goo Kim is concerned.

If you asked Goo what was the one thing he hated most about Gun, the ensuing silence would be the longest he has ever been quiet for. Because there really is so much he hates about that fucking guy.

Just one? Then Goo would likely say the smoking. Not only does it stink, but the smell seeps into the car interior and lingers on everything. Goo often likes to pretend he's choking when Gun lights up. Putting on a coughing fit and spraying spittle everywhere until Gun walks away in disgust.

If you asked Gun what he hated most about Goo Kim? Completely deadpan and straight faced, he would say 'everything'.

New episode idea

An episode like that of TAWOG’s “The Choices” where Kiburi reflects on the events of Season 2 after a particularly chaotic day. While talking with Hukumu, he wonders what things might have been like if he hadn’t tried to take Simba down

-What if he kept his mouth shut?: He’d definitely still be in the Pridelands, that’s for sure. The only time Kiburi would actually talk is the first few minutes he and the rest woke up, but if he didn’t say or do anything else after? I guess some of the other crocodiles would be complaining anyway, albeit amongst themselves and even then they’d be content with the watering hole everyone gets. It’d be good for everyone else with Scar not getting to have crocs on his team, BUT what about Kiburi? It’s just him bottling up all his emotions and that would cause his mental health to go down the drain…so much so, he starts pushing everyone away and maybe make him insane? He doesn’t want to know

“Yeah, I’d like to keep my sanity”

-What if he succeeded in killing Simba?: Things honestly go GREAT for him at first: Makuu’s banished from the float and probably the Pridelands as well, he’s Scar’s best warrior, crocs are ruling the land, things are finally going his way. As the days pass, he soon realizes that his sister’s actually pretty miserable cuz all she sees is her home in disarray and the love of her life pretty much gone (Makuu isn’t dead, but because he lost all his moxie he might as well be). Not to mention Scar would most likely throw him under the bus and there would be nobody to help due to lack of the Lion Guard, so it’s a scenario of “I won, but at what cost?”

“Maybe it’s better if I didn’t win that one…”

-What if Piga were still alive?: “There’s no way dad would let me do something like that no matter how old I am…”

-What if his friends never agreed to help him?: Tamka, Nduli, and Neema would do anything for him, but if that wasn’t the case…then he’d go rogue. Maybe he’d try to take Simba down himself, only to be stopped by the guard and banished. Then he’d truly be all alone working with animals who don’t care about him…not like his loved ones did-

“Well now everyone’s miserable..”

-What if Ucheshi joined him?: Everything’s the same, but Ucheshi participates. They’d be a killer evil sibling duo, he’ll give it that much. Hell, with Ucheshi’s brain and Kiburi’s brawn, they’d be the most OP in Scar’s army. They’d win every battle, slowly take over the Pridelands…then Ucheshi would decide this isn’t enough. She wants MORE chaos, MORE fighting, MORE animals running away from her, she just wants to go APESHIT and….wait, why does she have a murderous look in her eye? Okay maybe this has gone too far-

“*shivers* Thank the kings Ucheshi isn’t evil”

-What if he left willingly?/What if Ushari (and Scar) never proposed the idea in the first place?: Ig this is the best outcome. He’d still join Scar’s army, he’d just skip the whole “trying to assassinate Simba” thing, instead meeting Ushari while in the Outlands and meets Scar then. Even if it was a legit mashindano, he’d still be allowed to stay when he loses cuz you only get exiled from the float so TECHNICALLY he’s still allowed in the Pridelands either way (and ofc his friends go wițh him too so it works out)

But after all that thinking, Kiburi remembers all the good times he has in his new home: befriending his fellow Outlanders, the lessons he’s learned by making mistakes, how he’s a parent now, how he got to meet the love of his life, etc. He reflects on all of it and ends up being like “you know what? I wouldn’t change a thing” :)

An awkward silence falls over the duo as Vaggie comes to an abrupt stop, almost causing Alastor to bump into her, as her attention is stolen by the broadcast played on the TVs of a tech store. Normally, she doesn't care much for what the Vees do, unless it affects the Hotel and his residents, but it's hard not to get distracted by something so loud and colourful.

The former Exorcist shoots the Radio Demon a look as Vox mocks him from the screens, and she's ready to swear that she has seen his eye and ears twitch in annoyance.

"Geez, what a douchebag," Vaggie huffs out, rolling her eye. "I don't get why people waste their time with his shit. I mean, the stuff he makes is good, but the guy? Can't stand him."

She and Alastor don't always get along, but he has risked his life for them during the battle. The least she can do is standing up for him.

"And I can't fucking believe that he's acting all smug after you kicked his sorry screen in front of the whole city. Seriously, does he have a death wish or something?"

Alastor cocks an eyebrow in the angel's direction, even if it's hard to say whether or not he is surprised by her open support. It's certainly new, he can admit that much, but he can see where it comes from. Before her banishment, Vaggie's whole world used to revolve around the kinship among comrades-in-arms. The two of them have become that, in a way, during the past year, so it makes sense that she would look at him as such.

"That's one of the many reasons why I don't waste my time with these foolish picture boxes, my dear," he claims, hooking his arm around hers to more easily stir her away from the shop window. "While I find your distaste very relatable, it's best to pay no mind to any of that. After all, the most effective way to deal with attention seekers is to ignore them."

Of course, he's very well aware that he won't go unnoticed. Whenever he's closed to any of Vox's visual devices, he distorts their feed, alerting the other Overlord of his presence. He could avoid it, if he truly wanted to, but deep down he enjoys how he can unsettle his self-appointed rival with his mere presence.

"Come along now. We have actually relevant affairs to take care of. Let them waste their time with this nonsense."

OOOOOO this is a good question!!! you're right! i have quite a lot of ideas and current prompts sitting in the inbox to tackle (which thank you ALL for, if you've sent something in, i've seen it and appreciate it SO MUCH!). i would say that judy/rosie 3-parter piece has been in the works for months at this point, so im excited to finally get that going. im also excited to explore some more writing with the not-as-heavily-written couples such as Paulina x Hambone, Vivian x Blakely, and Margie x Benny. quite literally, the ideas + a few prompts for them have been staring me in the face, so i would definitely say i am excited to get to explore those two couples. BUT - i am excited to dig in deeper with my really fleshed out duos as well.

Prompt number #16 Fanfiction Fandom: Flash Rogues Rating: T – Teen and up Warnings: Description of Double Down's powers (it involves his skin).

Day Sixteen: “Do you know a way out of here?”

Roy Bivolo takes a deep breath, willing himself to be invisible.  It won’t work, of course, but it’s all he can do for himself without his prisma-goggles.  He feels at a distinct disadvantage as a regular person in a prison wing full of metahumans, and sometimes wonders if the warden puts him there just to humiliate him.

None of that is important right now, however, in the midst of a chaotic prison break.  His focus is on survival and escape, of finding a route out without getting attacked by somebody else.

The odds generally aren’t great.

He creeps his way past a huge inmate brawling with some guards, a guy he doesn’t recognize.  It’s a welcome distraction to hide an unobtrusive man seeking not to be seen, and he’s buoyed by his success thus far.

But it doesn’t last, because someone grabs his shoulder and spins him around.

Roy almost screams, but manages to maintain his dignity at such a pivotal moment.  And he’s half-relieved and half-terrified to see that the newcomer is Double Down, the criminal who pulls his own skin off and throws it at people.

“Hey!  I know you!” Jeremy exclaims, much louder than he should.  “You’re Rainbow Rider, and you shoot rainbows out your ass or somethin’.  You’re an okay dude.”

“Rainbow Raider,” Roy snaps, though he truly doesn’t want to make an enemy of this guy.  “And thanks.”

“Do you know a way out of here?” Jeremy asks, but Roy shakes his head regretfully.

“I’m still looking.  Maybe if we search together?”  At least Jeremy has powers, horrible as they are.

“Aces!  We’ll definitely succeed together!” Jeremy enthuses with a little too much excitement.  He tries to get a high-five, but Roy really doesn’t want to touch his skin.

“I’ve been in this prison a few times, so I’m pretty sure we need to go in that general direction…it’s just the specific details that are fuzzy,” Roy says.  “We’ll probably figure it out as we go.”

“See, we’re making progress and becoming the best of friends,” Jeremy declares confidently, and Roy gives him a strange look.  He’s always known that Double Down is odd from the few details he’s heard about him, but this is a whole other level of unexpectedness.

The duo continues through a dark corridor, punctuated by pulsing strobe lights which give everything an eerie cast.  Occasionally they see another inmate sneaking out on his own, and sometimes they must take cover from armed guards hurrying in search of escapees.  But the area looks familiar to Roy, and he’s certain they’re heading in the right direction.

Everything’s going well, until a stern voice shouts “Halt!” and they freeze.  Both raise their hands and slowly turn around to look at the guards who’ve stopped them, and one officer suddenly widens his eyes when he sees who they are.

“Oh crap -– activate the Raider protocols!” he tells the others quickly, but the order seemingly comes too late.  In moments, all the guards lower their weapons and relax their posture, and some are even smiling at the prisoners.

“Um…” Roy says in confusion, glancing at Jeremy, and realizes that his comrade has the same dopey smile.  “What’s going on?  What are the ‘Raider protocols’?”

“It’s the procedure to protect us from your powers, sir,” one guard says with the same goofy grin that Roy is beginning to find unnerving.

Roy blinks.  “But I don’t have any powers, at least not without my goggles.”

“That’s incorrect, sir.  Would you like us to escort you out of here?”

Roy blinks a few more times in extreme surprise.  “Uh, sure..?”

“That’d be fantastic!” Jeremy chirps, and Roy desperately wants to be as far away from this situation as possible.  He quickens his pace down the hall, with Jeremy happily trailing behind and the guards forming a protective posse around them.  When asked, the guards tell him that they’re going in the right direction, and he’s actually beginning to believe them.

Finally, the group reaches one of the prison kitchens, and a guard leads them through some once-secure corridors to a delivery entrance.

“You can leave through here, sir.”

“Well, thank you,” Roy says, unsure of what’s appropriate in these circumstances, and the man beams delightedly at him.

“I live to serve, sir!”

Roy cringes, and beckons to Jeremy.  “It’s time to get out of here, and we should hurry because I think these guys might not be very friendly once I’m away from them.”

With that, the two inmates escape to freedom as fast as they can, putting as much distance between them and the prison as possible.  When they can run no further, Roy turns to Jeremy with a slight smile.

“It was nice knowing you, but I think we should go our separate ways now.  Good luck staying out of jail!”

“You too!  We’re BFFs now!” Jeremy replies in a chipper tone, and Roy grimaces.  He’s hoping to leave all the weirdness behind him, but is starting to wonder if this will be his life now.  On the plus side, it seems like he isn’t powerless after all, which gives him some confidence for future stints in prison.

Roy turns in the direction of home, humming softly to himself as he walks through the woods.  All in all, things turned out much better than expected, and at least Jeremy kept his skin on.

When the famous producer Jung sooyeon decided to start her own entertainment company with better environment for young trainees, she found a lot of opposition from many people, even from people who she thought were her friends. But she wasn't surprised, she knew this would happen in a male dominated industry. But that didn't stop her but motivated her more to realize her dream. In recent interview with Forbes magazine she stated that some days she couldn't afford meals and sold her car for a bike to make ends meet. At first the small company had a few trainees that sooyeon personally selected them and among them were the future six membres of newjeans. For the girls, sooyeon was like a mother to them she would always nag if they had their meals and would take them out to eat even if she had little to no money to spend, she would always smile when she sees them enjoy their food. In all of the press conference the founder always said that she may founded Ador, but the girls were the one to built it and be successful without newjeans there will be no Ador of today.

Her relationship with micha

When sooyeon first met Micha, of course when first cought her attention was her visual she wouldn't deny that, she remembered clearly thinking she is only thirteen and looks this pretty what will happen when she grows up. But she was painfully timid that she was worried about her, but surprisingly that seemed to change and she noticed unlike before when Micha performed with the trainees she seemed to shine even if she danced in the back of the group you can't help but look at her. Now Micha like to tease her by quoting the things she says, meanwhile sooyeon always keeps Micha favorite sweets in her office.

If sooyeon was the mother and the girls literally call her " eomma" then kim hanbin is their "appa", he is one of the few people he believed in sooyeon and her vision. When he accepted to be the manager of the girls he didn't think that he will grow white hairs earlier than it should. With every minute with them he felt like he aged a century yet he truly loves them, he is protective over each one of them. He doesn't mind knocking some bastard down if it means they are safe. And it is the same thing for Micha he honestly doesn't have a favorite, all six of them are his daughters.

When the girls started getting busy, hanbin found it best if each girl has her own team who she gets along with and can pick themselves. So Micha picked her pretty unnie who gave her free candies and was her mentor throughout her whole journey, jeong saebi. Saebi truly has the patience of a saint, if Micha was managing herself she would've run for her life a long time ago, she can be handful at times but she is thankful for saebi for sticking with her and believing in her. Saebi knew Micha like the back of her hand and see her like a daughter, bunnies can't get enough of their interactions.

Personal stylist

When ye hea first come to the company, she was really shy. But as soon she was assigned to Micha all hell break loose, they became chaotic duo. Micha can be quiet picky of what she wants to wear. But together the came out with some iconic looks. Hea said that she loved dressing her up first because she has a great figure that anything looks good on her, especially now that became older and can try more daring looks.

Han mina is the closest to age to Micha in all her dream team, fun fact Micha was the one to ask for her after she watched videos of her work on Instagram and really liked her style. Mina didn't even imagine once in her life to have an opportunity like this therefore she is forever grateful for Micha.

Min seojun came later in the group, at first he didn't know how to fit in among the group, but it was easier than he thought. The group accepted him and tried to make him participate in everything they did together. To be honest he judged Micha falsely before meeting her. He thought that she was that arrogant rich celebrity he had to work for. But after meeting her all of those judgements went down the drain. She was just a mischievous little girl who just wanted to act her age and play around with the people she loves.

Main bodyguards

The handsome oppas as bunnies call them, park minho is a fun guy to be around despite his huge built, he reminds Micha of a giant teddy bear he shares her love for sweets and always jokes around with her, but he takes his job in protecting her seriously, whether jongdae is a more on the quiet side and Micha took it her life mission to crack him. When saebi told him good luck, he didn't take it seriously I mean how hard it would be to protect a little 16 year old, it was his big mistake underestimating her. If he even take his eyes off of her one minute he wouldn't know where she wandered off. People sometimes jock that he had to take care of Micha and minho. Even though jongdae doesn't know how to show his love but he truly cares from Micha and wouldn't change her for the world till the point that he named his daughter after her.

Casey and April: They're gonna be one of the main duos early on and I really like their dynamic, very much a platonic golden retriever and black cat thing. Probably the duo I draw the most.

Donnie and Raph: probably the most healthy sibling relationship early on in reticent ufthvojgcg, theyre both relatively chaotic and share a lot of traits given that Don was pratically raised by Raph

Casey and Leo: One of the two star duos of the second episode/chapter >:))) yeah they will literally just argue the entire time since we still have like 5 or so episodes before they actually start to bond so idk I think it would be funny because they would NOT work together

Casey and Donnie: THE DISASTER DUO!!! (they cannot be twins because there's a 4 year age gap but STILL‼️‼️‼️). I haven't gotten the chance to show this duo much yet but Casey calls Donnie "Little Man" and is probably his number one supporter next to Raph. They are just so sibling idk what to tell you

Casey and Mikey: They would set everything on fire and you KNOW it.

Casey and Raph: They will eventually become friends but for now Raph is just pretending to trust Casey and Casey thinks Raph is the only one who truly wants him around so um. Yeah. This one might not end well.

April and Mikey: The other main duo of chapter 2!!! They're just silly idk what to say. I like them a lot.

Donnie and Mikey: The youngest two siblings and 100% the least responsible of the bunch!!! Mikey would probably mess with Dee the entire time since nobody's there to stop him. The bastard/j/lh

Year of the Bat - Number 12

Welcome to Year of the Bat! In honor of Kevin Conroy, Arleen Sorkin, and Richard Moll, I’m counting down my Top 31 Favorite Episodes of “Batman: The Animated Series” throughout this January. TODAY’S EPISODE QUOTE: “Life used to be so placid! Won’t you PLEASE put down that acid?! And Say That We’re Sweethearts Again!” Number 12 is…Harlequinade.

Ladies and gents…let’s discuss Harley Quinn for a bit, shall we? I’ve been saving up the chance to really dive into Harley till now, because I felt it was important to wait till this episode for reasons I’ll go into. Almost without any argument or doubt, Harley Quinn is the single greatest and most lasting legacy that “Batman: The Animated Series” left behind. Of all the characters and concepts that the show fostered or expanded on, Harley is the one who truly broke the mold: an original character made for the series, she started off as sort of that one semi-obscure Batman Villain that only “real fans” who loved the TV show knew about…then started to make her way into more mainstream recognition, slowly at first, and then suddenly with explosive intensity. She’s now got her own TV show, a couple of movies with her as the main character, and more comics than you can shake a stick at, not to mention numerous other adaptations in other media. For me, however, the version from the DCAU will always be the truest and greatest version of her character: the first and still the best. Harley was originally voiced by Arleen Sorkin, and the character was partially inspired by her, as well. I say “partially” because Harley’s truest inspiration – and this is most obvious in her earliest appearances – were the henchgirls that frequently popped up in the 1960s Batman TV Series. (In fact, there are at least two specific henchgirls who I am convinced directly influenced Harley’s character, since both seem almost identical to her.) Over time, the character became more fleshed out and really blossomed into a major player in her own right. In my opinion, the episode that OFFICIALLY settled Harley as a mainstay was this one: “Harlequinade.”

The plot begins with the Joker stealing a nuclear bomb, of all things, and then going into hiding. Knowing time is of the essence, Batman and Robin decide to team up with the person they know is closest to the Joker’s cold, black heart: Harley Quinn. Harley agrees to help the Dynamic Duo out in finding the Joker and dealing with the bomb, in exchange for an early release from Arkham Asylum. What follows is a wild, chaotic ride of hijinks and shenanigans, as the trio bounce around Gotham trying to track down the Joker, complete with a random musical number…yes really.

This, I feel, is the episode that really put Harley on the map. Before this, yes, we knew she was a fun character, and she had a lot of great lines and moments, but she was always in another person’s shadow, whether it be the Joker, Poison Ivy, or even both. This, the Honorable Mention “Harley’s Holiday,” and one other episode I’ll get to later in the countdown really solidified her as a proper character in her own right. We learn more about Harley in this story, with little hints to her backstory and a better idea of her philosophy and motivations. We also get a greater idea of her beyond just being a villain, as she proves to be a surprisingly capable helper and even shows signs of right thinking. She’s not as far gone as the Joker is, she has things she values and cares about that make her more human and sympathetic. You can really see this episode as the start of where Harley would go in later/more recent years, with her becoming less of a villainess and more of an anti-hero: a wild card who can’t always be trusted, but makes for a surprisingly great ally in a tight pinch. It’s not by any means the darkest or most complex story, nor even the greatest look into Harley’s mind and personality we ever got…but it’s a LOT of fun, and one of the main stories that helped to make Harley who she is now, for better or for worse.
