i think i've said this once before already, but i'm saddened by the fact that those maxi jeans skirt only look good when you're very tall (at least imo).
#i could wear maxi skirts as a dress if i wanted to#& getting 3/4 skirts isn't really an option for me either because they'd still be a liiiitttle bit too short#& so i end up feeling that it just looks wrong :/#they should just make maxi skirts for short people#(this last bit is about all types of maxi skirts)#(but im mainly talking about those jeans skirts; very very sad i havent found one that fits the way i want it too)#(& dont even get me started on maxi dresses)#diary#rambles

HOT GIRLS ARE CONSCIOUS.
I haven't been on Tumblr in about 3 months (life has been busy), and when I finally decided to check back in today, I kept seeing the same thing over and over again, so I am here to dispel some myths.
If you have seen any of my posts, you will know the issues I have with traditional TikTok-y trendy 'glow-up' advice, but today I realised how much of it is just a ploy to get us to spend tons of money on things we CAN live without. I think we all need to be more CONSCIOUS: conscious of what we can realistically afford and implement into our daily lives.
For example, in a typical 'glow-up' advice post, tiktok or youtube video, they recommend these super unrealistic routines that include a full skincare routine of every type of cream you could ever imagine, and an incredibly detailed list that lays out how you need to spend every 10 minutes of your day in order to achieve this perfect form.
It's all hear-say.
Don't get roped into thinking that you need those brand new clothes, or you need those skincare items to be your best self. The idea of turning your 'glow-up' into a sustainable part of your life is to do things you can manage to do over and over again. The secret to glowing up permanently is having a routine that keeps you happy and healthy. Instead of buying a full shelf of skincare all in one go, get 1 or 2 items with positive reviews to start. You don't need to throw out your whole wardrobe and sell your soul to TEMU just to look aesthetic; use what you have. Rather than making short term impulsive purchases, treat every part of your life as an investment.
Especially when it comes to clothing, being someone who has lost weight and no longer fits into all their old clothes, instead of throwing everything out and starting from scratch, I bought a little amazon sewing kit with a couple of needles and different types of thread and started cutting and sewing my way to a better wardrobe. (Even TODAY, I turned an old pair of jeans that I never wear into a cute miniskirt all from a 5 minute YouTube tutorial.) If sewing isn't your thing, you can try using some hemming tape and an iron, fabric glue, or whatever you can. Be conscious of the things you buy and how often you buy them.
I know lots of people like thrifting, and you can thrift online with apps like Vinted, which I personally use and love, if you don't have access to massive thrift stores like they do in America (I'm totally not jealous at all 🙄🙄; I live in the UK and the closest things I have near me are charity shops but there's a sort of stigma around shopping in them but honestly who cares what others think).
When you shop for clothes, look for timeless and versatile pieces you can mix and match, layer and style with lots of different things, allowing you to wear them well. Try to find good staple pieces, that will make the basis of your wardrobe. Be an outfit repeater. Do not blindly follow trends; take the time to curate and explore to find your style. Make a massive Pinterest board of everything you think looks good, and start to make a list of common items of clothing and accessories you save the most; these will be your staples. Don't feel like you have to stick strictly to one aesthetic; my wardrobe ranges from 'fairycore' maxi skirts to y2k denim skirts, but what matters is that I am mindful of whether I will use the things I want to buy.
Of course, feel free to treat yourself, you 100% deserve it, but don't get sucked into the idea that your self worth is determined but WHAT you have; instead it should be how you FEEL in what you have.
I like to see my blog as a little notebook of things I wish I could have told my younger self, and things I want to remind my future self, and I feel like it would be a disservice to not talk about the oversaturation of our feeds with infinite products, to the point where everything feels like an AD.
Moral of the story: don't just take everything you see online at face value. Don't get trapped in extensive consumerism; it's bad for your bank account, it's bad for the environment and it's bad for your mental health.
Also here's my Pinterest if you want to have a peek around <3 Pinterest

which country are you talking about? i know burkini’s were banned years ago in france. and at the moment, abayas were just banned and any loose maxi dress/skirt is subject to the same restrictions (a student was sent home for wearing a maxi t shirt dress and was told it needed to have a higher slit or be tighter to not be considered banned). where were burkinis recently banned?
I meant the previous French law, but oh my god, that's even worse. I can't find any English-language media about the girl sent home over a maxi t-shirt dress, but I did find an article about a girl who was sent home for wearing an ankle-length, A-line black skirt. three guesses what religion she was, and the first two don't count. despite outcry on social media, by people of many religions, the school refused to back down. a similar case in the UK was not backed by an actual law and the school relented, thank heaven
what I'd just like to know is, is this EVER enforced on white and/or non-Muslim women? like, if a white historical costumer took her Victorian bathing costume to a beach in France, would she be ordered to strip down? apparently French men have been required to wear only briefs or very tight swim shorts to public pools since 1903, due to "hygiene concerns;" is that enforced with the same fervor as burkini bans?
(UPDATE: apparently the rule for men IS enforced...causing problems for trans men, and any man who wants to wear a swim shirt for body image, sun protection, or simple comfort reasons. yikes)
it's horrifically discriminatory as it stands now, and frankly a terrifying precedent for all women. again, this establishes that a fucking government can make women and adolescent girls display their bodies, by law. it's something where I want to acknowledge the clear racism/religious bias of the law in France, and also how disturbing the underlying misogyny should be to all women
#ask#anon#racism#islamophobia#misogyny#what kind of patriarchal dystopian bullshit is a bunch of (mostly) men mandating that X Amount of Women's and Girls' Bodies#Must Be Visible At All Times

any tips on how to start dressing better?
id loveee to dress with a more artsy, feminine style (for context i study arts, so visual arts, music, dance, theatre, but also business in the arts!) and i love love love your style like its literally how id dress daily if i could. i love style inspos like that but i don’t know how to maximise outfits with a few pieces, especially girly fits. i also love certain boyish/male-dominated sports and when i watch or attend the events id like to dress girly-ish? but also dress “right”, so shorts and stuff because its SO HOT but a lot of the places i work and study at are also rich people places so i also want to fit in and be taken seriously (i say this like i dont maximise my young and sweet girl persona to get around sometimes but still) 🫤🫤 i love your style because its so feminine and romantic and sweet and classy and timeless and i dress like that at times…. not always because i don’t know how to maximise my pieces but i thought you’d know best 😓😓
hope you have a lovely day ahead!
general tips on finding your style: (I won't say "dress better" bc that's very relative and can mean so many different things although I completely understand what u mean in your context)
start making pinterest boards
it helped me soooo much in understanding what i was drawn to and the recurring/repeating motifs that showed up in the outfits i was inspired by
you can make several diff boards for diff occasions like "outfits for class" or "outfits for parties" and each can have a diff vibe that suits your needs
when we think of personal style very broadly, we tend to be overwhelmed so browse through pinterest and look at outfits for inspo and you'll have a realistic idea of what you'd like to wear
2. understand your body and vibe/essence
this is where Kibbe and Kitchener theories help the most but i feel like most people nowadays use it to beat themselves up for being a certain Kibbe type or being delusional about the kind of essences they have etc
however, if you have a good grasp of Kibbe/Kitchener, it makes dressing up 10000x times simpler,, my personal style has improved SOOO much since i discovered Kibbe & Kitchener in 2021-2022,,,
3. build a "uniform" for yourself
if u look at my style moodboards, u can see how most of the outfits are kinda similar ish?? they're either slip dresses, sundresses, maxi skirts + tops, midi skirts + tops and generally adhere to a pink + green/blue palette (i call it my strawberry shortcake color scheme hehe)
once u find what u like + what flatters u , stick to it tbh. its faaaar easier to get dressed if you know exactly what you're going for. its 100% more convenient and people are going to associate you with that look/aesthetic and i think its important to have a strong personal "brand" if u want to be distinct and memorable.
its even better bc if you ever wear something slightly different, people are going to lose their minds lol when all u did was channel a different vibe. its like a 0 cost makeover effect.
i think its economical, efficient, memorable and overall wonderful to build a personal "uniform" and stick to it
i can wear those outfits (from my moodboard) to class, to brunch, to dates, to shop etc,, they're very flexible and aren't overly dressy or overly casual.
i only buy something if i feel like i can wear it everyday, obviously some pieces are more dressy and are for "special occasions" but generally, dont buy anything you cant see yourself wear every single day.
im not saying you SHOULD wear it everyday but that, that should be the intention. clothes are meant to be worn and used, not just look pretty on the hanger. so when you're in the trial room, ask yourself, will i feel comfortable and cute wearing this everyday for a week straight if need be?
you can build a uniform for diff occasions too!! so sporty events can mean pink camisole with lace trims and cut off shorts with baseball cap and strawberry print Vans sneakers or some variation of that
4. maximising your pieces!!! (finally answering THE question u asked but we already know that i need to yap a bit to get to the point lmao)
i am a mix and match girlie and i think thats just the most efficient and economical approach to fashion lmao
take out everything in your wardrobe and lay it all out on your bed and start trying on different pieces together and take full length mirror selfies
create a folder in your gallery for "outfit ideas" and save these pix to that folder 😉
you can thoroughly clean out your closet and critically evaluate everything you own and play dress up and have fun all at once!! when you play around with clothes you own, you'll come up with outfit combos you would have never dreamt of and having them stored in your handy folder will help u access them quickly in the future when u have somewhere to go and need some ideas!!!
it will also help you understand what you have too little of and what u have too much of
maybe u have 10 pairs of pants and 5 skirts and only 6 tops,, now u know what u should and shouldnt shop for in the future
id never encourage unnecessary shopping but if your budget allows for it,, u can buy some "core pieces" that will be foundational to your wardrobe
anything can be worn a million different ways, u just have to be creative
understanding how colours work together + how fabrics work together is very beneficial
if u have a baby pink tulip skirt, u can wear it with a white corset top (pink and white look amazing together) ,, you can wear it with a white satin button down shirt, a white lace trim tank top etc etc,, notice how all of these are different styles of top wear but they're all white which means you can also wear it with any other colour or piece in your wardrobe
for every "standout/statement" piece your purchase (ex: a skirt with heavy embroidery or patterns) you should have 3 or more "neutral" pieces that complement it. "neutral" pieces are the ones that work with everything or most things in your wardrobe.
if you love monochrome, then u do u but otherwise id say buy pieces in colours you dont already have,,, u dont have to buy colours u hate but having pops of colour in your wardrobe also helps maximise outfits bc it looks like u have made more of an effort than u have.
many people hesitate to "wear" colour bc they think it looks loud or that it doesnt have repeat value or whatever but thats not true!! u can wear the same colourful piece thrice a week and style it completely differently and no one will notice
accessories ARE KEYYYY,, u can dress up or dress down a look with them. build a little collection of your staples, like jewellery u can wear everyday and not take off?? have a handful of essentials that u can rely on to spice up outfits. a pair of gold hoops, a pair of dangly earrings, a cute pendant, another cute pendant u can switch it up with, a few rings or bracelets, a watch etc u dont have to buy a lot or have a lot, u just have to be smart!!
same goes for shoes and bags,, have 2-3 in rotation that works with majority of your wardrobe,, nobody needs 10 pairs of shoes or bags tbh ,, dont hesitate to repeat things, it'll just be your "signature" look and who doesnt want a signature look?? 💅🏻😌😌
also since u mentioned u dont know how to maximise girly fits with a few pieces, I GOTCHU
its more efficient to invest in skirts and tops than dresses if u are on a budget bc a dress is an outfit in itself and u cant repeat it too often (u can get vvv creative with the styling tho ngl but thats for later)
im going to give you a very simple idea (?? ish?)
this is a very basic white tank top. it looks cuter and "feminine" bc it has lace trims. what makes an outfit feel more girly is often little details like this. so instead of wearing a basic tank top, pick something that is a bit frilly.
u can easily create an infinite number of outfits with this one piece
(i know they're not all wearing the same identical tank top but im just showing u the diff possibilities)
this is a pink satin skirt styled 3 ways:
u only really need a few pieces tbh and the rest is just wearing them in different wayyyyss
idk how helpful this was but ur so sweet 🥺🥺and im so happy u like my style hehe<333
hope u have a lovely day/night and i hope u have a lot of fun with fashion too <33
edit: also just take ur time, u don't have to fix everything overnight and spend money u don't have to buy things that aren't strictly necessary. this is a long term project and it may take months or years to have a solid capsule wardrobe full of pieces you can style and wear in interesting ways

Oooo if you’re open to helping us shop please help me find my wedding dress (big ask)? I feel like I’ve tried on every dress in London and am about to give up! I’m not tied to it being white (blue? metallic?) I just want it to feel special enough that I don’t look like my own guest, but not a full meringue moment because there’s only going to be 15 people total. Vibe is casual Saturday afternoon picnic in the park and drinks at our local afterwards, my budget is £2k!
Sorry I should have added that I’m super short so midis tend to fit better, maxi not really my vibe and I’m worried it might feel too formal for the picnic!
Oh my god this is my dream task. First off - congratulations! Sounds like it's going to be a beautiful wedding. Okay so I've got a few thoughts first before we dive in: (1) You can get anything shortened - I'm also relatively short (well, actually I have long torso and short legs, but works out the same) so 90% of my bottoms are tailored. And what better time to invest in some good tailoring than your wedding! Assuming the dress isn't beaded / heavy on appliques, it's usually<£30 to have something shortened, and it's the same price to have something taken up half an inch vs taken up a foot, to make a maxi tea length. So I'm going to recommend a few things that are longer but know that I always mean you should have them shortened if you want. (2) Have you thought about a veil? I just think it's the easiest, most obvious way to say 'Wedding!' but still keep things cool. Personally I love a birdcage moment but I'm also partial to a short veil, particularly if you get something meaningful embroidered on it (this one is fully customizable and I love the look of the phrase running down the side).
Okay now that we've done that, some thoughts: Rixo makes cute, special but low key dresses. For a city wedding feel, I love the shorter ones (60s vibes! This CAPE) but there's loads of cute options (remember, you can have the longer ones taken up!). They're also v affordable which is always nice.
On the less classically bridal end of the spectrum, we have La Double J who go big on color and pattern. Again, I'd consider adding a veil (maybe in a fun color?!) to feel more bridal. I'm not sure your body shape but this top and skirt combo! With a pale blue veil?! Come on. They also do have more classic bridal pieces as well. There's also Zimmerman - flirty and flouncy, their dresses have pure romantic vibes. Something like this could definitely read bridal (+ a birdcage viel and a little shrug maybe?). If you're not put off by black (again, veil and accessories can help) then this is to die for and super re-wearable. Or embrace the chill vibes and go yellow! They have loads of great options.
I'm sure you already know this but just in case: Reformation does bridal. Like their normal dresses, the options skew towards people with model proportions but they've got some gorgeous ones - love this minimal take. I'd also recommend Wolf & Badger again. Do you want to be a hot and cool minimalist? A sea foam mermaid? (I'd personally have the slits closed a bit and the whole thing taken up but that's me). A ball of spring flowers? The Badge has you covered.
And then of course, a net a porter troll. Are you a disco queen? The most elegant woman alive? (Prob not best for the park, but def could work for a pub). A garden fairy? A jumpsuit (!) babe? A queen of less is more? (maybe with tulle gloves!) A column queen? (I'd style with blue shoes that match, I have this pair from Ferragamo that I love).
Again for lots of these I think accessories are key. You add a veil, a glove (consider short too!), a white shoe and all the sudden, bang it's clearly bridal. I hope some of that is helpful, and good luck!
(okay also you did not ask about this but just a thought: you can get really beautiful, affordable, old embroidered white table clothes fairly easily online and at antique shops. How gorgeous would your wedding picnic be on all white 'blankets'? Maybe with something waterproof underneath because, London).
#this was so fun thanks babe#if you have any further revisions or thoughts happy to refine and keep searching!!#we're gonna need a tag for this huh#personal shopping#s shops#wedding#correspondence

pairing: pope heyward x black!fem reader
notes.... jonathan davis is one fine ass man and the fact that i can only find like 5 Pope fics in comparison to the 10,000 jj fics is kinda crazy so i’d like to change that, disclaimer this is my first story so please bare with me... comments and criticisms are very much appreciated
synopsis: A fun summer with the people she loved that's all Aaliyah wanted this summer she didn’t ask for wildgoose chases, treasure maps, or running around The Outer Banks like the damn Scooby-Doo Gang
“We’re the pogues, and our mission this summer is to have a good time, all the time.”
John B stood on the rooftop of the semi constructed house putting one foot in front of the other as if he was about to walk on a balance beam like a damn idiot. “That’s what, a three-story fall to the deck? I give you about a one-in-three chance of survival.” Pope’s comment caused Aaliyah to turn around taking her focus away from the beautiful horizon. “Mmmmm I’ll make that a one-in-four chance.” Aaliyah’s snide remark caused Pope to roll his eyes. “Hm. Should I do it?” John B contemplated, sticking his finger in his mouth testing the wind as if he was actually going to attempt it. ”Yeah, jump. I’ll shoot you on the way down” Pope cheered on his stupidity, the girl scrunched up her face and looked at him as if he was insane. ”Please don’t.” Aaliyah said, trying to dilute the idiocracy unfolding in front of her with reason. “They’re gonna have Japanese toilets with towel warmers.” The information Kiara relayed surprised no one as she walked out of the house, JJ replied with, “Of course they are. Why wouldn’t they?” Kiara peers over at Aaliyah to see her slight stressed and looks up at John B, “Can you please not kill yourself?”She says as if it was just a slight suggestion. “Don’t spill that beer.” JJ warns, “I’m not giving you another one.”
As if on cue, John B drops the beer and Aaliyah just so happened to be in the splash zone. The girl gasped as she felt droplets of the lukewarm liquid spray her face. John B groaned as he looked down at the remnants of his splattered beer while Pope laughed at both John B and Aaliyah’s reactions to the whole scene. The group’s fun soon had to be put on hold as they saw the security car pull up the driveway. The group ran, dodged, and ducked around the two security guards while laughing as they made their escape to JB’s van. At the sight of the fence Aaliyah groaned, hiking up her maxi skirt as she prepared to jump the fence with Pope right behind her. “I thought you would’ve known by now to not wear those long skirts when you’re hanging around with us Princess.” Pope teased Aaliyah, finding it comical watching her prepare for the jump knowing that she didn’t wanna rip yet another one of her skirts. The girl simply just rolled her eyes having no comeback knowing that what Pope was saying was true but she would never admit that. She jumped the fence Pope and JJ following right after. Aaliyah laughed as Pope fell to the ground not even bothering to help him. The moment was short lived as JJ soon came to help the boy up while laughing, “Get up, Pope, fatso’s coming.” As the trio made it into the safety of JB’s van Kiara and Aaliyah scolded the boys as they taunted the security guard worried that they might send the poor man into cardiac arrest.
“The Outer Banks, Paradise on Earth. It’s the sort of place where you either have two jobs or two houses. Two tribes, one island….. The Pogues that’s us…”
“That’s JJ, my best friend since the third grade. He’s about as local as they come…. Best surfer I know. Just don’t tell him I said that. Mild kleptomaniac and future tax cheat.”
“And that’s Kiara, or Kie, as we call her. And when she’s not saving turtles, or listening to Marley, or getting a dolphin tattoo, she hangs out with us. I’m not really sure why, though. She’s a rich kid, actually. Foot in both worlds… Guess we all sort of have a thing for her, except for Pope but more on that later.”
“And that’s Pope, the brains of the operation. Finalist for the Lucas T. Vanderhorst Merit Scholarship. And the smartest person I know. Little bit of a weirdo… He was a Pogue, just like the rest of us.”
“And this one, that’s Aaliyah, Liyah for short. The other brains of the operation and the other smartest person I know. Now unlike us Lia’s an actual Kook Princess. The Kook sweetheart, as we like to call her because unlike the other stuck up pricks on Figure Eight, she is the kindest person you’ll ever meet. The reason may be because her aunt, the sheriff, basically raises her since her parents are always away.
“And that’s me, John Booker Routledge.”

Sorry to hear that you've been getting so much negativity lately! I respect that other people have different preferences but it would be nice if the anti-polyester crowd understood that it goes both ways: I have sensory issues too and my particular brain finds a lot of natural fabrics difficult to wear. That's not going to change - I'm unimaginably ancient by Tumblr standards - and loose, lightweight, thin, stretchy clothes make me feel far more comfortable in my own skin. They're also great for bodies which aren't catered for by most creators, because I'm short and fat and most indie brands don't fit but that doesn't mean that I want to wear boring clothes or feel constrained. Those stretchy waistbands are a lifeline. I'm happy for people who prefer other fabrics but having suffered in those for years, your skirts are a big help in giving me the courage to go out, along with a few other creators who make similar clothing. And your designs are fun! Maya's skirts are beautiful, FHF skirts are cute, but when I want to wear my neon stockings or otherwise inhabit my darker, sillier side, I look to one of my Witch Vamp skirts. I also love that you do skaters because I'm super short and midi skirts look like maxis on me already, so your shorter lengths mean that I can actually occasionally see my own legs.
It's sad how, many decades after leaving school bullies behind, people still find ways to rain on strangers' parades wherever possible and put their own preferences before consideration for others' individual requirements. Looking forward to the new designs (and the vetiverfox collabs!) and hope that business continues to thrive in spite of the haters.
Aww, thank you so much 🥰 I totally agree with all of this, and yeah I also know some other people with sensory issues that prefer synthetics. Also as a side note, I've mentioned this before but- the more I've started looking into it & getting advice from a business mentor, etc., the more I'm leaning towards starting a sister brand for natural fiber skirts/clothes if or when I do get that all figured out. So it'd be great if at some point people would accept that Witch Vamp just is what it is, and that if they want something vastly different than what we're offering maybe they should look for it somewhere else rather than angrily trying to get me to totally change Witch Vamp. Hopefully someday that "somewhere else" can be a sister brand that I can point them to :] Thanks again for all the compliments! And don't worry too much about the haters getting to me. For one thing, people do say that "all publicity is good publicity" and that seems to ring true when the hater parade comes out. I always get a lot of traffic on those days, haha. (oh, also also! Mini skirts will be coming out finally with the wizard stuff, so for anyone that's short but wants a skirt that'll fit a bit closer to how Skaters fit on me, look forward to that!!

So, I've created some OCs for the fic I'm writing right now (I don't think I'll be finishing it anytime soon RIP).
The first one is Hazel Brierley.
Her name would mean something like "thorny hazel woods(?)" (IDK, I'm not very clever when it comes to names).
She's a 16-year-old student who aspires to be an author (she's obsessed with mystery novels).
Only daughter of two real estate agents.
Tall and slender (176cm), she's one of the beauties at her school (although some consider her personality to be pretentious and/or creepy).
She has a rather attractive aura, people often wonder what's going on inside her head (although she gives off "mysterious girl" vibes, Hazel's much of an airhead. This often leads to her being brutally honest since she doesn't give much thought to what she's about to say).
Hazel also gives off nerdy vibes to some, which confuses her and makes the people who know her laugh — she despises everything that has to do with school and, again, she's dumb as hell.
She only talks with people who catch her interest enough to get her out of the clouds (even if they haven't talked much, or at all. She's pretty good at reading people).
But since it's so rare for her to find someone like that, she's pretty quiet. There're some classmates who think she's mute, only for them to get scared shitless once they hear her talk.
She's a part-time model for Sadie, her girlfriend.
Big fan of long skirts, turtleneck sweaters and the autumn-esque color scheme (not like I tried hiding that).
Whenever she finds out someone that caught her interest is younger than her (even if it's for a couple of months), she'll begin acting like a big sister to them (often with no success).
Then we have Adelaine Goldstein.
Her name would mean something like "golden lady".
Mostly known as Addie, she's a 15-year-old student who will become an actress (a widely acclaimed one).
She's the youngest of two sisters. Her parents both work in the show business: her mother is an actress and her dad, her manager.
While she's not as tall as Hazel (163cm), she's considered one of the prettiest girl in the entire area (as she should).
She wakes up every day at 5 am to calmly do her skin care routine and makeup (even if it's the lighest makeup you'll ever see).
Although what takes her more time is deciding her outfit of the day (and ways to steal something from her sister's wardrobe without waking her up. And it's that she always has clothes that match her style. Wonder why...).
Speaking of which: she loves flower patterns and bright colors, especially orange.
You'll never catch her wearing high heels or skinny jeans. If she's not comfortable in it, doesn't matter if it's the best outfit idea ever, she won't wear it.
At first she may seem to be unaproachable and petty, but once you get to know her, you find out she's actually... vain, stubborn and spoiled as hell. She's pretty nice, though.
While people often think Hazel is the brains out of the three, that's actually Adelaine. For some reason, she's not often linked to cleverness.
She stole her favorite pair of hoop earrings from her big sister, althought she will never admit to it.
The last one is Sadie Petty.
Her name literally means "small lady".
And he is, indeed, small (153cm).
Oldest sister out of three siblings (a boy and a baby sister). Her parents are both bakers.
Is she also petty? Yes, she is. She's also a tsundere (main reason why she doesn't have many friends).
She's obsessed with sweets, fashion and eating sweets while thinking about fashion.
Speaking of, she aspires to be a fashion designer.
Her light red hair is dyed. She's actually a brunette.
Not the biggest fan of her short stature. You'll see her wearing platforms and maxi skirts more often than not.
Her love for cheesecake is so intense she often forgets she's lactose intolerant.
It's not like she's a jealous girlfriend, she just wishes Hazel would spend all the free time she has with her.
She's often confused with a little girl and her attitude doesn't help.
Believe it or not, she's quite needy. She loves cuddling (only with her girlfriend, that is) and, if you're close enough, she'll allow you to pat her head.
She loves doing people's hair.

life recently
i've felt neurotic if i'm being honest. i can hardly sleep at night anymore and i can hardly eat. i think it's just the stress of school starting again. i'm sort of excited but obviously nervous. in my posts and the fact that i post diary entries on tumblr at all probably reveals that i don't have many friends and i'm not very good at making them, or i should say attempting to. i have some classes i'm looking forward to though. and i like the school gives me something to do everyday. as a very lazy person it confuses me that i have such insecurity and shame in that part of me. getting dressed and going at least one place makes me feel successful for some reason. this coming semester i'm taking a journalism class and i'm really beyond excited. journalism interests me a lot and i'm hoping it can give me an introduction to some people with these interests as well. maybe i will be introduced to some outside of school activities, i usually fail to participate in those. today i also went through all of my pants in my closet. i have so many skirts so i tried them all on to see if there were any i should donate. most of my clothes are from the thrift store, otherwise i would feel rich with how many items i have in my drawers. i also went through my jeans and finally gave up a pair that never fit me. i don't now why i have such a habit of purchasing clothes that are too big. i guess i just hardly know what my body even looks like so i just assume certain sized fit when they really don't. anyway, i only got rid of like four things, which isn't bad for me. i just love skirts, i always buy the funky ones from thrift stores with patterns and colors. recently i've had an obsession with knee length skirts to maxi skirts. i used to like mini skirts a lot when i was younger and i wore them a lot, now i don't know if i'm confident enough for it. i applaud my younger self so much because they weren't so afraid of themselves, they wore what they wanted and indulged in their interests even though they were weird. sometimes i get embarrassed when someone brings up how i used to act, but i can't hate them, especially when i'm mostly the same. i'm glad i had the phases i did, i don't think people respect their 2020-2021 selves as much as they should. just because everyone was ''cringe'' doesn't mean that it wasn't you. that version of me was important to figuring out who i was, without it i wouldn't be so into mcr, and i love mcr. plus that time was crucial for me at least when it came to self identity, without that i think it would be harder for me to be myself. growing up religious and still being religious makes liking girls as a girl kind of hard. i like guys too, but i can't act like that makes anything different. i like who i am most of the time and i'm glad i'm still here. in short, i've been reminiscing a lot. i get like this when school season comes back, i guess i start to feel old. at the same time part of me looks forward to being out of school and being an adult. i guess it's just that i have no clue what i want to be and who i want to become, and it feels like everyone else does. i wish i could just write forever and have people read it and feel what i feel and make people want to write too and make them feel good. i guess how i felt after finishing the bell jar. it made me sad but it also made me so happy, it made me feel hopeful that one day things won't be foggy. i'm not proofreading tonight. i think i'll find a farming game to play. goodnight.

Fashion
So this year I had some disposable income to spend and experiment with my clothes. And I have curated what I really really like wearing and what I don't like wearing so far:
What I really really like wearing...
In my opinion, the first step for acknowledging your own fashion is "acceptance". Sometimes, I feel left out because I do not really dress similar to what my friends or acquaintances wear. And that's completely okay!
We all have our tastes. I am usually a "people pleaser", so I have always tried to adapt to current trends rather than wearing what makes me feel happy. And I am going to change that about myself by recognizing my passions and interests.
I feel like I am into more comfy or oversized clothes. I do not like wear very form fitting clothes and they give me less room to breathe especially when I am working long hours and commuting long hours again, as a teacher. I personally find them impractical and I will only be w2earing tight clothes out of need - like to change up my everyday clothing or because I find them more appropriate for the occasion.
Here are some things which uplift my mood:
Oversized lace dresses in color black (my to-go outfit especially during periods)
Sundresses - I love wearing a cute sundress in all seasons. In winter, I usually wear them with a knit cardigan or layer a shirt underneath them. They make me happy
Flowy satin/silk blouse with wide leg pants - I usually don't like to wear pants until I tried wide leg pants. They are flowy and I really like wearing them. They are easy to move around in as well
Flowy blouse with miniskirt and tights - it's a cute feminine combination. Nothing against it really
My to go comfy outfit is shorts with an oversized tee or a long dress with tights. I really like wearing them at home. I also enjoy cozy pj sets
For gym, I just prefer my tennis skirt with oversized tee OR shorts with oversized tee
My to go winter outfit is sweater with jeans or a knit cardigan with dress
I love OVERSIZED BLAZERS
Hair bows - I find bows cute and they make my day
Headbands - they are my jam. I DO NOT CARE ABOUT MY AGEEEE !!!
For shoes, I like sneakers and boots. I am not a heels girlie
that's pretty much it.
What I do not like wearing...
Very tight clothes like short hoodies. I wasted so much money here smh. Wasn't worth it
Clothes with stripes... I don't like the pattern. Idk why I even buy them
Maxi skirts - I just don't like them as much as I thought I would
Fur anything - seriously, idk why I bought this
Denim with the exception of denim jackets. I didn't like denim on me as much as I thought I would
I feel like I hate TUCKING IN UNLESS ITS A WIDE LEG PANT. I prefer tucked out clothes more cause of my body shape but I don't mind tucking in my blouse for work. Not my preference tho. This is why I do not mind wearing crop tops with wide leg pants so I don't have to tuck in smh
Shapewear... I am just too lazy to care about my stomach coming out or whatever. Its my normal human body
I feel like I prefer wearing full sleeves and half sleeves over sleeveless clothing - because i am too lazy to shave my dark underarms in summers
Color gray - I’ve too many clothes of color gray. But I would prefer to look more vibrant and lively ↔️ I just end up buying it cause idk why?? I should be more conscious of my purchases moving forward.
Future goals and improvements
Deep clean the home and create a capsule wardrobe
Minimize as much as I can
Learn what looks good on me and what doesn’t
What is my style?
Approachable
Friendly
Korean fashion is my favorite
Romantic
What will I buy if I need to re-purchase my wardrobe?
Sleeveless and full sleeves black maxi dress
Black tights
Black and navy blue wide leg pants
White, coral, and pink tees
Floral dresses
Tennis skirts in black, white, and pink
Satin black maxi skirt
Satin dress shirts in light blue, pink, coral, and red
That's all for now ~

Top 10 Ways to Style Funny T-shirts
Do you ever buy funny t-shirts or t-shirts with some funky quotes or graphics?
Obviously, your answer must be a YES. Especially when you are living in the States, you must have a boldly printed funky t-shirt with some funny quote or image.
Funny t-shirts are one fashion trend that will never go out of style, just like a good joke. These bizarre clothes are more than simply cloth; they serve as platforms for expressions of humor, provocative remarks, and sheer foolishness.
Fasten your seatbelts because we're going on a hilarious fashion adventure as we discover the ten best ways to wear those funny tshirts by men or women. But before that, let's check out how and when these t-shirts became popular in the US.
Emergence of Funny T-shirts for Men & Women in the USA
The rise of humorous t-shirts in the United States is indicative of a societal change in the realm of fashion, one that rejects conventional wisdom about what people should wear in favor of a more free-spirited and expressive approach.
The emergence of individualism, the influence of popular culture, and shifts in cultural attitudes all contributed to this phenomenon's gradual development throughout time. A t-shirt was once thought of as an ordinary, practical piece of clothing.
Expectations around dress, however, shifted as society progressed. The United States of America, with its reputation for cultural tolerance and diversity, proved an ideal setting for the emergence of fashion that incorporated comedy.
A desire for self-expression and a rejection of sartorial uniformity were expressed in the transition from plain tees to ones embellished with clever slogans, hilarious drawings, and references to pop culture.
This shift started in the 1960s and 1970s when counterculture movements made way for more daring clothing choices in the twentieth century. The way individuals dressed was shaped by political activism, music, and social upheavals.
Funny tshirts for women and men became a platform for expressing dissent, comedy, and individualism. Now, we're in the digital era when social media and the internet are the leading trendsetters.
As memes, clever sayings, and comedic videos became widely shared on the internet, funny t-shirts became increasingly popular. Humorous tees became sought-after goods that cut across age groups and style preferences, the credit goes to social media influencers and celebrities.
They became popular with the rise of specialized marketplaces, and easy access to custom printing contributed to their meteoric development. People buy funny t-shirts that showcase one's individuality and interests.
Top 10 Trending Styles to Wear a Funny Women T-shirt
Pair it with Denims:
Wearing your go-to humorous tee with a pair of traditional denim will instantly make it more classic. Denim, in all its forms—skinny jeans, shorts, or skirts—offers a cool style that goes wonderfully with the breezy vibe of your top.
Lighthearted Remarks:
Blazers aren't just for black-tie events. To add a dash of surprise, layer a blazer over your quirky t-shirt. Whether you're going to a meeting or a funky supper, this combination communicates, "I'm here to impress."
Sarcasm and Skirts:
Put a feminine spin on your funny t-shirt by tucking it into a stylish skirt. The combination of feminine flair with a touch of comedy makes for an adorable and fashionable style, whether you're wearing a mini or a billowing maxi.
A Colorful Mischief:
Wearing matching bottoms can let you dive into a monochrome appearance, which is perfect for that funny women t-shirt you own. You can show off your tee's sense of humor in a stylish and understated approach.
Hilarious Laughs:
Wear a stylish jacket or cardigan over your humorous tee to master the art of layering. In addition to keeping you warm, this is a great way to reveal your humor, layer after layer.
Mix it with Prints:
Take your style to the next level by playing around with different prints. Wear patterned bottoms—stripes, florals, polka dots—with your humorous tee. A display of self-assurance and chicness, it's sure to turn heads.
Pair with Athleisures
Bring together a playful take on athleisure with comfort. Put on a pair of fashionable shoes and pair them with some joggers, leggings, or biker shorts to make an amazing outfit. Wearing this combination, you'll be ready for a day full of fun and laughter.
Statement Jewelry:
Wearing an understated ensemble with bold accents will allow your humorous tee to stand out. Accessorize with statement earrings, a fancy hat, or a pair of eccentric sunglasses to step up your sense of humor.
Classy Informal Attire:
Elevate your home office clothing with a dash of humor. An outfit consisting of a blazer, fitted pants, and a humorous t-shirt reads, “I'm serious about my work, but not too serious.”
Dazzling DIYs:
Turn your humorous tee into a one-of-a-kind work of art by getting crafty. To make it more humorous or show off your individuality, you can add patches, stitching, or even paint. You can't help but smile and laugh when you wear this work of art.

For causes as varied as the shirts' designs, humorous tees have quickly become mainstays in children's clothing. These amusing outfits offer a welcome diversion from a severe world, enabling the younger generation to express themselves and show off their sense of humor.
As a means of expressing themselves and standing out, young people love to wear humorous t-shirts. Shirts like these help people express themselves through brilliant designs, clever words, or connections to popular culture that they find relatable.

The Positivity of Crop Tops and the Acceptance of Different Body Types
Introduction
Fashion is a form of art, and like any art, it should be a canvas for self-expression, regardless of one's body shape or size. In recent years, crop tops have emerged as a symbol of this progressive shift towards body positivity and inclusivity in the world of fashion. In this article, we'll delve into the fascinating journey of crop tops, their newfound relevance in the realm of body positivity, and how everyone can confidently embrace this versatile fashion trend.
The Crop Top Revolution
The crop top, once considered a trend exclusively for the slim and trim, has undergone a remarkable transformation. It has transcended its initial associations and is now celebrated as a garment that can flatter people of all body types. This evolution is a testament to the changing perceptions of beauty in our society.
Crop Tops for Everyone
One of the most beautiful aspects of the crop top resurgence is its inclusivity. No longer confined to a select few, cross tops are now designed to cater to a diverse range of body shapes and sizes. This shift represents a significant stride toward ensuring that fashion is a space where everyone feels seen and celebrated.
Crop Tops: A Confidence Booster
Clothing has the incredible power to boost confidence. Many individuals have shared their personal stories of how wearing a crop top with runner shorts helped them break free from self-doubt and body insecurities. It's a reminder that confidence is not about conforming to societal beauty standards but about feeling comfortable in one's skin.
Styling Tips for Different Body Types
The key to successfully embracing cross over crop top lies in understanding your body shape and selecting styles that complement it. For those with an hourglass figure, cinched-waist crop tops can accentuate curves. If you have a pear-shaped body, high-waisted bottoms paired with crop tops draw attention to the smallest part of your waist.
Breaking Stereotypes: Crop Tops for Formal Events
Crop tops were once reserved for casual outings, but times have changed. Today, they are making waves in formal fashion. When styled elegantly with maxi skirt with split or tailored trousers, crop tops can create sophisticated and graceful ensembles suitable for weddings, galas, and other special occasions.
The Rise of Inclusive Brands
The fashion industry has recognized the importance of inclusivity. Many brands now champion body positivity and offer a diverse range of crop tops that cater to various body types. These brands not only create stylish clothing but also promote the idea that beauty knows no bounds.
Body Positivity in the Fashion Industry
In recent years, the fashion industry has witnessed a paradigm shift. Influencers and celebrities have used their platforms to champion body positivity and challenge conventional beauty standards. This movement is not about celebrating one body type over another but about embracing diversity in all its forms.
Crop Tops and Self-Expression
Ultimately, clothing is a powerful form of self-expression. Your style reflects your unique personality, and crop tops or coral playsuit are a canvas on which you can paint your individuality. Don't be afraid to experiment with different styles, patterns, and colors. Let your fashion choices speak volumes about who you are.
Conclusion
In a world where beauty ideals are constantly evolving, crop tops have emerged as a symbol of body positivity and inclusivity. They remind us that fashion should be a celebration of diversity and a means of self-expression. So, whether you're curvy, petite, or somewhere in between, remember that you are beautiful just the way you are. Embrace crop tops and embrace yourself, because beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Dress to Impress: Outfit Ideas for a Boating Trip
If you’re not the type to go boating regularly, it can be confusing what to wear during the event. After all, you need to wear attire that is comfortable enough to protect you from elements such as extreme weather conditions and conditions of the water. You also have to consider your itinerary as well. Are you travelling during the summertime or during the fall season?
No strict rules are being enforced when it comes to dressing onboard during a boating trip. After all, it’s not a fashion show where everyone will scrutinize all the details of the clothes you’re wearing. Although, it might be nice to dress appropriately for the event. Even if no one is there to critic your clothes, dressing well can still garner compliments from other people onboard, especially if you’re attending a boat party.
And if that’s not the case, wearing the right type of clothing while boating makes you feel protected and safe. So now the question lies, what clothes should you be wearing on a boating trip?
What to Wear on a Daytime Boating
Daytime can range from hot to slightly chilly depending on the weather conditions. If you’re boating during summertime, everyone can dress casually. The priority is to dress comfortably. Women and men can wear a pair of shorts, and a T-shirt or a tank top. Some women love to wear something dressier; they can wear breezy skirts and casual dresses. Make sure these clothes are made of lightweight materials. Even though it’s hot enough to wear sandals or slippers, they can be slippery if you wear them while walking around the boat. You might slip which is not a fun thing to happen while on a boat. Make sure to wear footwear that is for boating.
If you’re boating out during a chilly day, switch shorts for trousers or jeans. Wear a sweatshirt or layer your clothes to keep you warm. Opt to wear shoes or boots with socks to keep your feet from getting chilly.
If you’re a fitness junkie and you just cannot skip doing workouts whether you’re on solid ground or when you’re in a boat, you can also pack activewear. Be sure to change out of those clothes right away once you’re done. You can also skip your workout by taking a dip into the cool waters of the sea or the lake, or wherever your boating excursion occurs. Wear the appropriate swimsuits if you want to go swimming or snorkelling.
Make sure to always wear sunscreen regardless of whether it’s sunny out or not. The harmful UV rays of the sun are still out even if the sun is covered by clouds. These could not only tan you but can also cause sunburn which will hurt your skin in the long run. Avoid that by applying sunscreen to your skin. Add additional protection to your body by wearing a hat to protect your head and your face and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the harsh glare of the water’s surface.
What to Wear on an Evening Boating Trip
Evenings are chillier whether it’s during summertime or springtime. Also, boating at nighttime seems like a romantic, slightly formal affair whether you’re with a special someone or you’re with your family or friends on a boat with a centre console or a yacht so it makes sense that both and women can wear something dressier.
Women have countless options on what they want to wear during the evening excursions. They can wear a classic little black dress, an elegant jumpsuit, a maxi sundress, a cute blouse paired with dress pants or a miniskirt. Men can wear collared shirts such as polos, button-downs, or sweaters. These tops are best paired with chino pants or slacks. The keyword here is business casual or smart casual. Wearing formal attire isn’t necessary at all but you want to look presentable and comfortable at the same time.
Footwear can range for women from heeled shoes to ballet flats and loafers to Chelsea boots for men. Boat shoes are very much appropriate for both genders to wear to prevent slipping and sliding on the boat. Make sure your attire is breathable while providing you warmth.
Whether you’re boating in Bundaberg or Sydney, now you already have an idea of what to wear on a boating trip.

Oh, What A Night - BBC Sherlock
Sherlock x Reader
genre: fluff!
words: 671 words
summary: the Watson's marriage party
(gif not mine)
You watch Sherlock speaking to the bride and the groom, Mary, and John. You stand far farther than all of them, at upstairs. Both John and Mary want you to be a bridesmaid and, Sherlock asks you to be his date. That you want so bad to accept but, you're in LA, there's no way to arrive in London in the morning to get ready for the ceremony, at least just in the night, and here you are. You tell them you'll stay in London to celebrate after the wedding, they're agreed.
You still watch them there. Don't know what the three talk about, but seemed entirely happy, hugging. Mary and John dance when the song starts to play, leaving Sherlock standing there alone.
As all the friends dance away, you sawing the lowers his eyes. Slowly turns and looks at everybody dancing all around him, keeping his head lower as if trying not to meet anyone's eyes. He looks very lost and alone in the middle of the crowd. He didn't see you, that's good. You were so embarrassed to wear what Sherlock bought for you. You just want casual looks in a gold silk dress. Though, he bought you a yellow floral print maxi dress, pleated woven chiffon with tying bows accents, which seems so charming and classy also, yep. It might not belong with you.
After a few moments, Sherlock lifts his head, still looking around. Eventually, you saw he sees a bridesmaid with long hair dancing some distance away. Sherlock stops when he realizes that she's dancing. She turns away and continues to dance with her guy. Sherlock looks reflective for a few seconds, then turns towards the stage.
You view around there, a tiny smile happens on your face. You glance at Mrs Hudson dancing with Greg, Molly, and Molly's boyfriend. She pulls him to kiss. You chuckle against the wall, looking outside the room, zoning out. Furthermore, take a peeks inside, you spot Sherlock was staring at you. His smile falters, and so does yours. You quickly decide what to do and put your champagne down before making your way over to him.
Sherlock eyes on you hold the hem of your skirt, sail steps down toward him. He reaches beside the stairs, raises his hand to you like the gentleman. You giggle but hold it. He spoke with flirt. "Welcome, princess." You roll your eyes smilingly faces when he kisses your hand. "Care to join me for a dance, my prince?" You say with an outstretched hand. Sherlock grins, taking your hand, and he pulls you close.
You two start walking hand in hand, swaying to the music, following the beat. Step together and hug each other tightly. "What were you guys talking about?" You ask while Sherlock leans slightly closer, lowering his voice that the people around you won't hear what he is saying. "I just told them that Mary is showing signs of being pregnant, so she should take a pregnancy test to be sure. And you up so late, love. You arrived here at 4 PM."
"Jesus." You gasp, place your head on Sherlock's shoulder across to look at the three Watsons, their smile, plus Mary wink at you. You ignore what's Sherlock was muttering to you. "Oh, Jesus." You chuckle softly in gladness mixed with surprise, "bloody... Sherlock! You noticed before John did? He's a bloody doctor!" You say in an amused voice. Sherlock smiles back at you. "It's his day off." Then you both start giggling, laughing together. "Jezz!"
"What is so funny?" Sherlock stares down at your checky face. "Oh. I don't think my babe. The great Sherlock Holmes, consulting detective, knew 'bout pregnancy step. Fancy job title, don't you think?" Now Sherlock begins giggling as to yours, and you can't hold yourself back to run your fingers through his curly hair, pull him down to let your lips meet his. The kiss is short though you can feel his smile against your lips.

Shingeki no Kyojin Headcanons: 104th training corps (College AU - Outfits pt II)
Part I | College AU HCs
Part II of the outfits/aesthetics headcanons - College AU that would (kinda) be included in the oneshot I'm working on.
IMPORTANT: I do not own Shingeki no Kyojin nor the trend of this outfits-displays, only this HCs belong to me. // Contains spoilers (for the icons that I used in some characters) // English is not my first language, so I ask for your patience and understanding.
Historia Reiss
She has a huge wardrobe and so well organized by color, textures, and sizes. From halter tops to maxi dresses, our queen really dresses like one.
Forever in love with skirts and dresses with patterns and/or pastel colors. But don’t get confused, girl has range.
So, one could see her wearing monochromatic ensembles one day and the other, she’s all dressed up with some bright color pieces matching a patterned shirt.
Also owns a vast collection of jewelry and accessories both original and classy. And let’s not forget the shoes: sneakers, heels, boots, sandals and cute little anklets to match. I swear she can make crocs look boujee.
Contrary to what people think, she doesn’t support fast fashion industry. Aware of her privilege, she knows she has the money and time to buy from small businesses and keep herself trendy.
Last but not least, and kind of clothing related: Historia loves taking Ymir to thrift shopping dates and later go eating at some indie cafeteria. The lifestyle is also part of the outfit, alright?
Ymir
Her wardrobe consists in comfortable clothes and not giving a fuck. All her clothes give Rockstar lesbian vibes (stan this queen). Her designated color palette is based on dark shades, so it’s a real contrast between her outfits and Historia’s.
Loves combat boots and her wasted Converse TM, although her favorite pieces from her apparel are bomber jackets, coats, sweaters, and hoodies.
Ymir also wears a fair amount of stainless-steel accessories, mostly chunky rings and chains. Moreover, is common to find her listening to music, therefore, earphones are a fashion statement really.
Speaking about must-wear, this girl likes to paint her nails black but due her anxiety she tends to scratch the painting off so it gives this grunge look (don’t romanticize this fellas).
Historia would suggest her some trends or give her advice about color, but being honest, Ymir has a very well-defined style at this point.
Now, about her dress style: She won’t dress like a metalhead nor grunge (at least not intentionally). And she wouldn’t define her style as dark, it’s just what it is.
Reiner Braun
He wears lots of denim in jackets and jeans but also owns a couple of dress pants that combines with beanies or simple caps. Also, has plenty of plain simple shirts that fit his strong body.
Reiner usually wears opaque shades of all colors. Another fact, he’s not a big fan of patterns unless we’re talking about sweaters. He also wears jackets yet avoids cardigans and hoodies.
A very important thing to know, Reiner has a lot of gym clothes, he works out daily so don’t be surprised.
Most of those clothes are joggers, pants, shorts, and t-shirts that look as if he ripped them off or something.
Actually, a lot of his clothes look like they’re about to be ripped apart due his huge ass pectorals (please, Reiner, let me rest gently on your pecs). Just kidding, his whole wardrobe fits him perfectly.
Finally, if Reiner had to define his style in a sentence, he’d probably acknowledge that he gives the impression of a rich a-hole, but really, Rei just likes to be comfortable and presentable at all times. So, rich white guy it is for now.
Bertolt Hoover
Bertie is that one friend that always carries a cardigan or sweater just in case, also because he tends to lend his clothes if a friend of his is in need. So thoughtful, our big baby.
His wardrobe is amazingly well organized, and its color palette is unmatched. Lots of blue, brown, beige, white and black.
We know he’s tall enough to call everybody’s attention every time he enters a room. And being as shy as he can be, he avoids brilliant colors or striking pieces. Instead, he chooses simpler outfits.
Bertolt follows this formula every time: pants, shirt, sweater. Everything clean and discrete.
Now if we must talk about his shoes, Berts prefers some white sneakers or modest dress shoes. He wouldn’t say he owns a vast collection, rather, he keeps a fair amount for different occasions.
No tattoos nor piercings. Speaking of which, it’s so rare to see him wearing any accessories at all. Maybe he'll carry with him an analogical clock, and that's it. Although if someone gave him a friendship bracelet you can be sure he'll wear it all-the-time.
Annie Leonhart
Lots of denim for her jackets and jeans. Hoodies, bands merch and graphic t-shirts.
Her clothes’ color palette has range but nothing too pastel or colorful. Instead, she gets all the opaque version of the pieces she likes.
Not that Annie hates dresses or skirts, it’s just unusual for her to even think about wearing them. She prioritizes being comfortable, and tight/short clothes can’t provide her that feeling.
Hates slim clothes unless it’s a tank top or something similar. She just prefers oversized hoodies and mom jeans. Also, if Annie can avoid skinny pants, you can be sure she will.
Owns a fair amount of gym clothes because she also likes to train but most of the times, you’ll see her running around campus, really. She’s a simple woman with simple pleasures.
Annie is the personification of ‘looks like she could kill you, is an actual cinnamon roll’, from her attitude to her clothes. So beware, for she’s the queen of looking rude with her chains around her belt, and her ring to match but don't let her fool- holy shit, that thing can actually stab someone. As I was mentioning, such a sweet gal, isn’t she?
Hitch Dreyse
She can make it boujee with so little effort (and money), lemme tell you. Wears her clothes with such an attitude and class. Hitch's an actual wine-mom, or aunt maybe? she gives those vibes.
People have the impression from her style, that her parents are rich, but nothing could be further from the truth. It’s just that Hitch knows how to dress. (Also, we know that for a fact sis has a scholarship, okay?) ANYWAYS,
Miss here is forever in love with white and baby blue. Owns plenty of jeans but also dress pants and culottes that wears with blazers or shirts that make her look like a princess with a diversity of fabrics such as satin, silk-alike texture, and cotton.
Hitch is the queen of heels. Although she hates very high ones, she rocks shorter heels and walks in them with little to no effort. Or at least looks like it. All of her shoes are classy yet unique.
Now, let’s talk about her collection of accessories. Hitch likes her jewels in gold and only buys signature pieces: rings, earrings (for her four lobe perforations, two in each ear) and necklaces, of course. Yes, it is gold but in modest designs. Sounds fair, right?
Marlowe Freudenberg
Our big boy in here thinks that he should look presentable at all times since he’s the Chief Editor of the History student’s academic journal at Paradis’ Uni. Not that he cares a lot of his appearance, really.
And that’s actually cute because he puts effort into his outfits. Marlowe would be one of those straight guys that are hygienic and know how to dress and has no fragile masculinity.
Cologne is a must and part of his attire just like handkerchiefs are, because at the same time, he was raised to be the classic gentleman TM.
Marlowe dresses in all colors; he can’t choose a favorite one or a never-changing palette. He’s aware of season colors too and plays that at his wardrobe favor.
Yet for his outfits he’d follow few simple rules: oxfords (cleaned), dress pants (somewhere between slim fit and straight leg), some polo/dress shirt/cotton thing-y for top and a sweater / cardigan / blazer if season demands it.
Finally, our favorite student-editor spends some time of his routine shaving his face and styling his hair, albeit wouldn’t consider himself a vain guy nor full of himself. Lowkey expects Hitch to notice his appearance. Such a sweetheart.
