“When my skin feels like a barrier between /Everything else in this universe and me / Then I try to remember / That there may very well be a link between us / That I can't see / Something underneath the surface / Buried / In among the weeds.”
ID: A watercolor painting outlined with ballpoint pen of a human heart. The heart has been colored brown, and the arteries have been drawn as the caps of Armillaria Ostoyae, a brown mushroom with speckled caps. the veins running over the chambers of the heart are dark brown. The painting has been titled, “Armillaria Ostoyae”.
Art that I made for @narcissistcookbook , who I saw in the flesh tonight :) they and their audience were very cool, soaring over the (low) bar set by the only other concert I have ever been to.

Fia: Okay, I will help in whatever way I can. ["Irina" begins playing.] I can picture her very vividly still. I don't know whether it is true, or if I have made up a version of her, but she's still so strong in my mind.
Sienna: Do you sense her arrival?
Murph: Uh, and-- and looks at you, Fia.
Fia: Do I?
Murph: Um, and just then… you guys see a figure. Deep in the distance, in the maze of trees. ["Irina" begins playing. Fia gasps softly.] She's radiating with magical energy, surrounded by these swirling green sprites.
Fia: It just kind of flowed from her very effortlessly. In fact, when I knew her, I… ah, I did not have a spell to my name really. I-- I-- I was not magical at all. The most magical thing about me was her probably.
Murph: Yeah, Fia, you have this strong, strong memory of this magical girl that you grew up with in this very un-magical place. Just this burst of color in this grey world.
Murph: She wears a multicolored cloak that she's clearly made herself.
Murph: She has the looks of like, a bandit. Like, kind of like [Emily: Yeah.] patchwork clothes and things like that. [Emily: Yeah.] Of-- of like somebody who's like stolen armor.
Fia: Okay.
Henry: So it's gonna be like that.
Fia: This is gonna be a problem because I actually really like you, because you seem sweet, because you made your own clothing, so…
Emily: I am going to just…. ooh, I really don't wanna hurt her.
Murph: And, um, she's kind of looking around. It looks like she probably just plane shifted here, and is a little bit like-- she's like staring around in wonder. Because, you know, even as somebody who's inherently magical she probably hasn't been to groves before. Um, or if she has, they're still beautiful every time you go to one. So, she looks around.
Emily: Okay. I think I-- I take a moment to enjoy the pleasure of seeing her before she sees me.
Fia: She is like a pressed flower in my mind.
Murph: Yeah! You see uh, she smiles. She's got these, uh, little tusks that pop out, just like you Fia.
Emily: Does she still wear her hair long?
Fia: She loved honey cakes, but she would never finish one. She always gave the rest to the birds. Um, she had long silver hair that sometimes I would braid, but she didn't know how to braid her own hair. How funny is that! Sometimes I wonder, did you want me to braid your hair and that's why you never learned?
Murph: She still wears her hair very long. She's got, uh, her silver hair goes all the way down her back.
Fia: Okay-- ooh! Thank you. Silver is my favorite color. Yes, let's do this!
Emily: I think then I can't help myself. I say, like--
Fia: I'm glad you kept it long.
Murph: Um, you-- you-- you say--
Fia: It's such a beautiful color. There should be as much of it as possible.

THE RECORDING SESSION
Studio Sessions for RCA on June 6, 1970: RCA’s Studio B, Nashville
The last entry of the evening, “Heart Of Rome,” was an up-tempo dramatic ballad in the operatic vein of “It’s Now Or Never” or “Surrender”; it may have had a little more irony going for it than the earlier cuts, but by the end it had Elvis straining for the high notes — and the band struggling to keep awake.
Excerpt: "Elvis Presley: A Life in Music" by Ernst Jorgensen. Foreword by Peter Guralnick (1998)
The song was recorded on the same day as the hits "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" and "Just Pretend", as well as "I Didn't Make It On Playing Guitar", "It Ain't No Big Thing ( But It's Growing)", "This is Our Dance" and "Life".
It was past midnight when they were working on "Heart of Rome", the last song recorded that night. Elvis, the recording team and musicians spent about ten hours working at the RCA's studio during the Nashville sessions from June 4 to 8, 1970, reporting each evening at 6pm and working until the wee hours, wrapping up the sessions around 4:30 am. Elvis and his band recorded 35 masters over the five-days 1970 recording sessions in Nashville.

HAS ANYONE EVER TALKED ABOUT STYLE SAVVY: STYLING STAR (girls mode 4 in japan) YURI..
rosie storyline spoilers !!!!!
(Ignore the ugly outfits here MARZIPAN SKY WASN'T GIVING ME ANYTHING GOOD)
basically the girl on the left is camilla, she's the classmate best friend of rosie and she acted like she didn't worry about rosie even though she REALLY DID and is her biggest fan to the point of creating rosie (the girl on the right)'s chant
rosie came from the countryside and her story in styling star is becoming an idol to be like her idol angelique and camila comes to basically like. All of rosies concerts and it's genuinely so sweet of her
if I remember correctly though when rosie finally sings with angelique and got really famous camila realizes that she doesn't need to worry about rosie anymore so she just like. Straight up leaves rosie
camila ends up ignoring rosie and rosie gets Worried about HER and then rosie even vents about her worrying through reading her lines in a film she was acting it that was about losing a friendship
so then next concert rosies in she gives a ticket to the protag in hopes they can give it to camila, the protag meets camila at the train station and camila shakes the protag off telling her she's not going to come because rosie Really made it big. She doesn't really need her anymore because she needs to go into the more famous circles she belongs in now And that camila is really just a rich girl (before this she requested a chic outfit, a rich girl outfit, even though she's usually a girl who dresses up in lolita)
but she ends up going to rosies concert anyway DRESSED UP IN A ROCK OUTFIT.. THAT ROSIE WAS IN TO SUPPORT HER.. AND SHE SHOWS UP WHEN ROSIE DOES THE FAN CHANT BECAUSE THE FAN CHANT ROSIE MADE FOR HER THE CROWD IS SAYING IT WEAKLY..
SO SHE COMES AND SAYS IT LOUDER...
I didn't get I would get so attached to. Fashion yuri but I love ethem I'm documenting this post just so I can remember them
(ignore rosies ugly outfit I Have grown sick of making 'girly' outfits. wheres my baby doll fans marizpan sky exhibition hall ost is the only thing saving them)
and for the ending of rosies storyline IT'S JUST THE PROTAG THIRD WHEELING THEM ON AN AMUSEMENT PARK DATE WITH CAMILA SAYING SHE'S GOING TO BECOME AN IDOL NEXT.. I really like how for the the main 3 idol stories it's about them rising to fame but their endings all tie to the people around them it's very sweet to me
