“how did you find me?” you’re pulling rafe inside by his shirt, his hands finding your hips as he stared at you incredulously. he couldn’t believe you were in front of him. he didn’t answer, instead he took your face in his hands, tears brimming his eyes as he rested his forehead on yours. “please never do that again.” you felt your heart break when his voice came out shaky, your own tears already rolling down your cheeks. “i’m so sorry—” rafe shut the door, clicking the lock shut before sitting you down on the motel bed.
“i got your note,” rafe made sure to keep your hand in his as he spoke, “i know that you left because you felt like you were doing the right thing.” he laughed bitterly, flashbacks of the look on his dad’s face when he saw that you didn’t take the money ran through his mind. “but i need you to know something else..” your heart was beating out of your chest, a million words sitting on the tip of your tongue. there was so many things you wanted to say, but you didn’t know where to start.
“doing the ‘right thing’ would never result in us being away from each other. you sacrificed everything and left behind everything you’ve ever known for me, so i made my own sacrifices too.” just as you were going to question what he meant, he held up his hand, the gold ring that he once wore with the utmost pride was now gone. your eyes widened, your lips parting as you shook your head. “oh, rafe..” inspecting his fingers, you couldn’t help but run your digits over his palm, “what did you do? what did i do?”
regret pooled in your stomach. the one thing you didn’t want to happen, happened. “hey, look at me— you didn’t do a damn thing, alright? my dad didn’t take anything from me, i left it. the same way you walked away from everything, so did i.” your head shot up at his words. “you left it? the business, your family ring, everything?” rafe watched as the corner of your eyes became wet with tears, your chin wobbling slightly. “y/n,” he stroked the side of your face, “everything means absolutely nothing if i don’t have you by my side.” you swore you could’ve died right there.
rafe embraced you as you let out a sob, your hands clinging onto him as if he’d disappear from your grasp. “i’m so sorry i left!” you cried out into his chest, “i’ll never leave you again, i swear it!” your arms moved to wrap around his neck, your heart finally feeling full again. rafe shushed you, rubbing your back soothingly as you two cried in each other’s embrace. rafe knew it was now or never. everything that you two have been through— all the tears, all the scrutiny and pain, trials and tribulations, all the laughs, the sweet moments, the whispering of words in the dark, all of it was meant to lead up to this very moment.
rafe pulled away, taking both of your hands in his as he moved down to the floor— on one knee. sniffling, you watched with a confused gaze as rafe reached into his pocket. “i bought this ring the morning i first left your camper,” your eyes widened as he pulled out a small box, “you left one of your rings on the bathroom sink and i took it with me to get an accurate size on this one,” he laughed, “i thought i was crazy when i was there buying it from the jeweler, but it all makes sense now.” a small gasp left your lips when he opened the box, revealing a dainty diamond ring. “rafe..” your voice was barely above a whisper.
“marry me.”
his words cut through the air, your breath catching in your throat. “what?” a hint of a smile played on your lips as his eyes got lost in your own. “marry me,” he repeated, “you fulfilled wedding vows since the very beginning. ‘for better, for worse.’ you and me made decisions, we let go of things despite how painful it was, we did it for each other,” rafe swallowed thickly. ‘for richer, for poorer.’ you never cared about how much money i had, you welcomed me into your camper and we made the best of it,” he rose his eyebrows suggestively, making a giggle fall from your lips at the memories of you two getting tangled in your bed.
tightening your grip on his hand, your smile faded when he broke down, his shoulders shaking slightly as his head hung in complete surrender. “you didn’t give up on me when you had every reason to. ‘in sickness and in health.’ you stuck by me when i was at the height of my addiction, and i could never thank you enough for never losing faith in me. i yelled at you, i talked to you harshly— fuck, i hate myself for that. i was in the worst shape i had ever been in, and you still looked at me as if i hung the stars up for you. you loved me at my worst, and brought me back up to be my best.” now you were crying too, small hiccups emitting from your throat.
“y/n, will you please do me the honor of giving me your hand in marriage?” rafe glanced up at you, the expression on your face unreadable. “of course i will.” that was all rafe needed before he slid the beautiful ring on your finger, both of you pulling each other into a searing kiss. with his lips still connected to yours, rafe took a seat on the bed, pulling you on top of his lap effortlessly. you two stayed like this until the tears on your cheeks dried, both of you growing needy for something more than just rushed kisses and lingering touches.
“i’m sorry,” you whispered against his lips, “i never want to be away from you ever again.” rafe’s eyes were now clouded with something else other than tears— lust. “stop saying sorry. nothing else matters right now.” rafe’s fingers slipped underneath your top, your eyes fluttering shut as he licked a stripe up the column of your throat. groaning at the taste of your skin, you gasped when he cupped you through the lacey material of your bra. being apart from one another was one thing, but not being able to hold, love, or touch each other was completely different.
“i’ve been staying at your camper for this past week, you wanna know why?” you moaned softly as he took your top off, humming a small ‘why?’ before you tugged at his shirt. “because it smells like you. the sheets, your pillows, everything, it all smelled like you and i needed to feel you close somehow.” you pulled away at the revelation, your hands coming up to cup cheeks. “please let me make it up to you..” your voice was so sweet, but the indication of your words was even sweeter. “oh, you will.” rafe nodded to himself, his hand coming up to unclasp your bra.
rafe laid you down and worshipped your body as if it was your first time together all over’s again. not a single inch of your body went untouched, the man above you whispering praises again your skin. you two laughed, cried, kissed, and hugged all while he rocked inside of you, his fingers intertwined with yours as he continuously placed kisses to your knuckles. he was gentle, yet so precise with his movements, you were easily gasping his name in no time. never looking away from each other once, you held eye contact while he spilled into you, his lips molding to yours as if they were made just for you.
“i love you.” you smiled softly as his breath fanned against your cheek. pulling him flush against your chest, you wrapped your legs around his waist in order to keep him between your thighs. “i love you, too.” rafe rested his forehead in the curve of your neck, his large palms rubbing soft circles into your skin. you two stayed like this until he pecked the corner of your lips, rolling to your side before taking you in his arms. with your back to him, both of you admired your ring as if you couldn’t believe this was actually happening. “rafe?” you whispered, a smile gracing your lips when he hummed.
“i can’t believe it..” rafe trailed kisses along the back of your shoulder, his hand holding up your own. “i can,” he started, “i knew this day was going to come, i just wish i did it sooner.” you turned around in his embrace, running your index finger along his jaw. “you never answered my question earlier.” rafe’s eyebrows knitted in confusion. “what? how i found you?” nodding, you let your eyes trail over his features as he explained himself. “well i searched the whole island, and when people told me they hadn’t see you anywhere i figured that meant you left it altogether.”
your eyes widened at his words. “you looked for me all this time?” you already felt bad for leaving in the first place, but now you felt even worse. “of course i did. i went to the icecream parlor and asked around for you there, and then i went to the country club, but everyone just kept saying the same thing.” you closed your eyes, a defeated sigh falling from your lips. “i looked up the closest motel and this place showed up, so now i’m here.” rafe was unbelievable. “i need to get you a wedding band!” you gasped, the realization dawning on you once you stroked his empty fingers.
“i already got one. it’s at the camper.” you stared at him blankly. “rafe cameron.” he smiled when you said his full name, finding amusement in the way your voice sounded serious all of a sudden. “i mean it when i say i thought everything through already,” he kissed you, “i never really understood what people said, but now i get it.” smiling against his lips, you looked up at him through your lashes. “what do you mean? what did they say?” rafe cradled your head, those blue eyes of his dripping pure adoration for you as he spoke.
“when you know, you know.”

Omgg the dimension in the stcmo au where Stanley destroys his own dimension with Stanford and the dead twins in it is fkn killing me 😭 He was fully ready to die with the world, seeing that his world (the kids) had already ended anyway :(
How do you think Stanley died in the other dimension, where Stanford and the twins survived but he didn't? I also really wanna know what their reactions were to meeting each other again or if their memories were altered or not!
I love this AU to death and beyond, please never die 😔🙏
Honestly, the possibilities are endless in terms of how exactly Stan goes out (destroying Bill in the process).
And as for the relocated Stan...
Stan hit the ground and, for the first time in his life, he just stayed down. That tiny voice in the back of his head that had kept him going all these years had finally fallen silent, leaving him to drown in his overwhelming despair. He didn’t care to pick himself back up again. There was no point.
His kids were gone. Snuffed out before they could even live their lives. His brother, who he had just brought home, killed with the press of a button. He was pathetically thankful that he hadn’t been the one to activate the doomsday device, he didn’t think he could’ve lived with himself knowing that he had killed his big brother with his own hand.
Not that he had been planning to survive the explosion, which was another matter that he was just too worn down to address. Honestly, he didn’t really give a shit about the mystery man or his intentions. Even so, he should be furious that the mystery man kept him from joining his family, but he was hollowed out by the realization that he was the only one left.
Why was he always the last man standing?
He couldn’t bear to go another day without Mabel’s smile. The girl had bullied her way into his heart and carved out a space for herself, bringing enough love for the both of them with her. His sweet girl who loved glitter a little too much and drew trouble to her like a magnet, the girl who saw a sad old fuck and reminded him that life was worth living with every joke, every kind word, every laugh, every hug.
How could he possibly face another day without Dipper’s laugh? The boy had snuck into his heart not long after his sister had gotten comfortable, settling down like he had simply always been there. His brave boy who reminded Stan so much of his brother and himself, a strange amalgamation of both of them. Their best qualities put into one body.
Had he told them that he loved them? Even once? Had he ever uttered those words to his kids?
Did they die unsure of how much they meant to him? Did they die doubting that Stan loved them more than anything in the entire universe? Did they die quick or slow? Did they die scared, wanting their Grunkle to protect them from a cosmic bully? Did they die wishing that they’d never met him? Did they die cursing that they ever came to Gravity Falls–
His kids had to know that Stan would’ve given anything, struck any deal, endured any torment, killed anyone he had to so long as it meant that they got to be happy.
Stan didn't even realize he was crying until he pressed his forehead against the ground, shocked back into his own body by the soft rasp of greenery against his face. His shoulders heaved with the force of his sobs, hands fisted into the grass as he wailed his grief into the soil.
Grief for not telling Soos that he was like a son to him. Grief for not thanking Wendy for putting up with his shit. Grief for not telling Dipper that he was proud of him. Grief for not putting Mabel’s insecurities to rest before they could fester. Grief for waiting for a fucking ‘thank you’ instead of just hugging his damn brother like he had longed to do for the past forty years. Grief for not spending more time with all of them while he could.
As Stan’s pathetic tears finally dried up, a sound was carried on the breeze, every muscle in his body locking up as he raised his head. His brain stalled like an old engine, wide eyes staring off into the thick foliage. He was half convinced that his mind had finally fractured and he was hallucinating even as his body moved, scrambling to his feet to race through the forest.
Even if it was just a cruel trick of his mind, he couldn’t just ignore it. Not when it was his kids. And certainly not when his kids were crying. In no world could he ignore the sound of the niblings' distress. If they needed him, he’d be there. Easy as that. He would sooner light himself on fire than let them think that they couldn’t come to him with their problems, his discomfort with feelings and emotions could fuck right off.
As he got closer to the origin of the sound, he could actually make out words. His heart stuttered in his chest as he pushed himself faster and faster still because they were calling for him. They were wailing his name like two scared little kids lost in a big world that was too cruel for the likes of them. So, he answered their desperate call, just like he always would.
“Kids!”
Stan charged through the brush, erupting into a small clearing with three people standing in it. The first figure he recognized immediately as his brother, whose arm was raised to aim a triangular gun at Stan’s chest. The niblings were hidden behind him, clutching the fabric of his slacks as they peeked at Stan with huge wet eyes. Stan stumbled to a stop, raising his hands in a placating gesture.
Surprisingly, no one in the clearing broke the silence, a voice ringing out from a sturdy branch in a nearby tree.
“It’s not a trick, Stanford.” A heavily modulated voice spoke as a dude in flashy getup stared down at them from his perch. In the blink of an eye, another gun was drawn from Ford’s trench coat, pointed at the man that Stan had been manhandled by earlier. His face was set with grim determination, but there was a telling shake to the hand that aimed the gun at Stan.
“You better start talkin’ or I’ll come up there n’ beat some answers outta you.” Stan demanded, sparing a glare for the stranger. He must’ve followed Stan here, which meant that he had also seen Stan blubbering like a pansy earlier. Great.
“The Stan of dimension F9-2 took his own life to defeat Bill, leaving your dimension without a Stanley Pines. Stan from dimension C40”0 was the only one to survive Weirdmageddon, his world destroyed by his brother’s last-ditch effort to kill Bill, leaving him without his family.” The stranger explained, gesturing to each brother in turn as he addressed them.
“So, you… brought him here?” Mabel tentatively piped in with a sniffle, poking her head out more, and Stan had to swallow the urge to tell her to keep out of sight. Now that he was getting a good look at the trio, he was noticing the differences, like how Ford was wearing the same suit that Stan himself currently had on, except it was far less tattered.
“I did.” The stranger confirmed with a slow nod and the niblings shared a look, communicating with just their eyes. Stan remembered when he used to do that with Ford, way back when their only worry was if they could get one last game of pirates in before they were called home for dinner. Stan hadn’t been that close to Ford since middle school, back before a yawning chasm of distance opened between them.
“Who are you?” Ford growled, his eyes narrowed as he shifted most of his attention to the stranger, who tilted his head in a predatory manner that made the hair on the back of Stan’s neck stand on end. Stan let his arms slowly drop down to his sides since the gun that had been aimed at him had been lowered slightly, Ford clearly prioritizing the bigger threat.
“A concerned third party.” The stranger said, not missing a beat before he shifted his weight to fall backward. He disappeared in the blink of an eye only to reappear right behind Stan, who squawked in alarm and outrage as one hand seized the back of his neck while the other pointed a weird gun behind them to open another colorful gateway. Stan threw an elbow back at the stranger, who caught it with practiced ease after swiftly holstering the gun.
“But if you’re unwilling to house him in your dimension–” The stranger began, before being unceremoniously interrupted by two small bodies darting out from the safety that Ford's body provided and throwing themselves at Stan.
“No! You can’t have Grunkle Stan! Please don’t take him away!” Mabel wailed with no small amount of terror, her tiny arms struggling to fit around Stan’s waist, clutching fistfuls of his jacket. Dipper was no better, quite literally sitting on Stan’s shoe in order to cling to his right leg with all four of his limbs while he begged the stranger to let Stan stay with them.
“Hey, hey… I ain’t goin’ anywhere.” Stan soothed, voice lowered to a low rasp as he abandoned his effort to get the bastard behind him to let go in favor of getting a hand on each of the kids. One of his hands went to Dipper’s head while the other pressed against Mabel’s hitching back, the two pressing into the contact like they were starving for it. Stan turned his head just enough to level the visor of the stranger’s helmet with a dark look, daring him to disagree. “Right, pal?”
“Depends on him.” The stranger retorted, pointedly nodding at Ford, who had taken to aiming the gun directly at the stranger’s helmet. Thankfully, the portal had closed on its own, shrinking out of existence, and as a result, Ford’s posture had visibly lost some tension. Stan figured that it was because the kids had been in danger of going through with him had the stranger followed through with his threat.
“My brother stays.” Ford bit out through clenched teeth, something bordering on manic in his eyes. Stan noticed that Ford’s hand wasn’t shaking this time, his aim perfectly steady. Stan wasn’t sure why this stood out to him until he recalled that Ford’s hand had been trembling earlier when he had the gun pointed at Stan, which was far more shocking than it should’ve been.
“If you ever hurt Stan… I’ll be back and you will never see him again.” The stranger warned, drawing the weird sci-fi gun in a dark blur and firing it off to the side, smoothly stepping into the swirl of colors before both the stranger and the portal were gone. Stan stood there dumbly, staring at the empty space where the portal used to be until his attention was redirected to the warm body that crashed into him.
Stan yelped as he went down in a heap of flailing limbs, instinctively struggling as strong arms wound around his body. However, Stan froze when he heard a choked sob, blankly staring up at the cloudless blue sky in utter disbelief as Ford broke down in tears. Ford’s face was buried in the crook of Stan’s neck, his glasses digging into skin, but Stan didn’t care because he was clinging to him and the kids just as tightly.
And if his eyes were wet and his cheeks damp, it was just allergies.

Aaron and Aphmau should’ve stayed friends.
They understood each other on such a personal level, had a connection that was hard to mimic.
Aaron understood the troubles Aphmau faced. Being lord, being a Divine reincarnated, losing people she loved.
They could’ve found solace in each other in a non romantic way. Their personalities compliment each other, aphmaus first instinct is to help and be trusting, Aaron’s is to be wary and cautious.
They could’ve made each other better without falling in love

family issues-l.norris (no.4)
---------------
---------------
pairing: lando norris (no.4) x fem! sky presenter! reader
summary: lando (and his mum) are there for you during a difficult time.
---------------
P1. Pole position. Incredible.
“Well done,” you smiled, hugging him close as he entered his driver’s room. “You did really well.”
You could feel his smile against your neck. “Thanks baby.”
You stayed there like that for a moment, just holding each other, then he pulled back with a big smile on his face. “OH! My mum is here, you can finally meet her!”
A part of your heart sank, and another part lifted. You’d met a good portion of his family and they were all lovely. It’s just that every time you met a part of his family, he wanted to meet a part of your family. You’d been dating for a year now, and up until 2 months ago, yeah, he could’ve met your family. But then… they decided to go no-contact with you. They just told you not to call or visit anymore. You weren’t their daughter anymore. Whatever, that was fine. Your parents were emotionally unavailable due to your sister’s mental health issues, and your sister didn’t treat you well at all. You were the glass child. 2 months ago you’d gone to dinner with them and your sister brought up all your ‘happy memories’, but all of them were moments without you, or moments where you were the joke. You’d gotten upset at them, and apparently that was all they needed to kick you out of the family. So much for love. So much for blood. Lando couldn’t make it to that dinner, and he was so upset that he couldn’t. He was worried your parents thought he wasn’t serious, or that he was dodging meeting them, but you told him not to worry, that they’d meet ‘another time’. Now, you were out of chances. You didn't tell Lando about the fight or everything that came after, he’d been struggling enough with his own mental health without you having to burden him with yours. So, you just swallowed it and told yourself you’d tell him over the summer shutdown. Then, Lando was having so much fun that you didn’t want to ruin it, so you decided you’d tell him after Singapore. Probably. Maybe.
“Awesome!” you smiled. Even you could tell you didn’t sound right, too pitchy, too awkward, too surprised.
He raised an eyebrow. “You alright?”
“Fine,” you nodded. “Where is she? I want to meet her.”
He nodded, still sceptical but obliged you and led you to his mother. Cisca was warm and welcoming, funny and kind, and just a good person. You saw so much of her in Lando. He was beaming as he watched you two interact, so happy that two of the most important people in his life got along. You spent the whole afternoon together as Lando went on with his duties, chatting about your lives, sharing stories about Lando and yourselves, you even got to see some embarrassing baby photos of Lando.
“So what about your parents? Do they ever come to the races?” She asked, a big smile on her face.
“Well, no actually. We don’t talk much,” you chuckled.
She raised an eyebrow, the same way Lando does. “Really? Lan told me that you were quite close with them?”
You sighed. “Can I tell you something? And you can’t tell Lan.”
She nodded and took your hand. “Of course.”
“2 months ago my parents disowned me. Lan has been begging to meet them and I have no idea what to tell him. I feel awful about it, and I didn’t want to add to his stress so I just keep lying to him telling him they’re busy. I just feel so… guilty,” you admitted.
She sighed. “You poor girl. It's awful that you have to go through all of that on your own.”
“Well, it’s not that bad,” you chuckled, trying to lighten the moment.
“It is. And that’s ok. It’s ok to be upset,” she smiled warmly. “I know my son, and he has not shut up about you since he met you as a sky presenter 2 years ago. Lan is a family-oriented person, and he’s just excited to be a part of your family and have you be a part of ours. He’d want to be there for you, the same way you’re there for him.”
You could feel yourself tearing up. You’d never had someone be so kind to you, never had someone treat you like a daughter. “Thank you,” you smiled sadly.
“And anyways, your parents suck, you can be my daughter now,” she smiled.
And you definitely cried. But, they were happy tears. You’d found your family.
---------------
After your eye-opening conversation with Cisca, you decided you’d come clean to Lando. As you two entered your room he wrapped his arms around you and kissed your cheek.
“How was my mum today?” he asked, his voice deep with tiredness, and eyes heavy with sleep.
“She was amazing, we had a bunch of fun,” you smiled. “Can I talk to you about something?”
He nodded. “‘Course baby.”
“It’s about my family.”
Lando woke up slightly, sitting on the bed as you stood between his legs. “Alright.”
“2 months ago, after that dinner I went to, they cut contact and disowned me. It was up to my sister why and well, we know how much he hates me. So yeah, I have no family anymore, and I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I just didn’t want to burden you with it.”
You looked at Lando and his face was a mixture of anger, guilt, and upset. He cleared his throat and his grip around your waist got tighter. “Number one, I’m so sorry that happened to you. That’s fucking shit and your parents don’t deserve you. Number two, you will never ever be a burden to me. Ever. You’re the most important person in my life. I love you Y/n, more than anything. I always want you to come to me about things that are happening and how you feel. Number three, fuck your family, you’re my family, alright?”
You chuckled sadly, running your fingers through his hair. “Right. Thanks Lan, I love you.”
He smiled. “I love you more.”
“I feel it,” you smiled. He stood up and kissed your cheek.
“Seriously, I’m here for you, always. Never forget that.”
You pressed a kiss to his cheek. “I know. I won’t.”

Rio x fem!reader (fluff and/or hurt comfort plz)
not good enough || rio vidal x fem!reader
summary; you meet your love again after one hundred years
warnings; agatha all along ep 7 spoilers, canon character death, reader has a small injury, kissing, pining, reader and rio are both kinda idiots, rio and reader are both touchy w each other, main story set after first witches road trial, rio and agatha are not romantically involved
rio vidal had been the only constant friend you’d had in your whole life, but your situation was quite complicated. you were a centuries old witch and, whist technically she was too, she was also death personified, meaning she had a lot of work to do. your friend wasn’t around much, leaving you alone a lot. sometimes you wouldn’t see her for sixty or seventy years at a time. this time, it had been a lot longer than that. that fact tended to leave a pit in your stomach, especially considering your last interaction.

you were sitting in your cabin, your best friend lying next to you, the pair of you giggling into the night, until you were both facing each other. it was very clear that the energy had shifted from lighthearted fun, to something else entirely. in all honesty, it sort of made you feel uneasy, but then again everything rio ever did brought up that feeling. it made most people withdraw from her company, but it only intrigued you more.
currently, her eyes were fixed on yours. you held her gaze. it was clear she was fighting with herself internally to keep her eyes off of your lips, but after a few moments of tension-filled silence, she gave in, her eyes darting to your cherry red lips for only a split second, before you licked them and her eyes darted back up to meet yours once again. it was now that you had realised the position that you had been laying in, your hand lazily on her waist whilst hers rested on top wearily. you moved your hand up, with an uncertain energy, as if one wrong move would ruin what was happening. you moved your hand up to her neck, rubbing it gently, and then up to her face as you caressed it gently. her hand has moved more confidently on to your waist, as she squeezed it lightly. you had hoped she hadn’t caught your breath hitch, but the ghost of a smirk on her face told you that she absolutely had. you could feel her breath, hot and shaky on your face. your hand moved to play with her hair, and with a final burst of confidence, you leaned in to kiss her. just as your lips met hers, you were apart again. she moved her hands from you quickly and jolted to sit up in bed. you looked at her again, but the expression on her face was not one you were familiar with.
“rio, i’m sorry-“ you began. what had you just done?
“i have to go.” she whispered, and just like that it was almost as if she were never there.
2026
it was today that your lovely acquaintance, agatha harkness, had decided to make herself your problem as she practically forced you down the witches road. you didn’t really know why you’d shown up, considering the last time you walked the road together she almost you you slashed into a million pieces, but you went along anyway. when you arrived at her extremely un-agatha like house, you were met with a ragtag group of witches and one random lady that you were sure that the rest of the coven had also noticed. unfortunately the woman had passed away during your first trial, and you were left angrier at agatha than you were before, because she could’ve got you all killed by not drinking that wine. you were ready to force it down her throat at one point.
one of the witches, a tall woman dressed head to toe in pink, had suggested summoning a green witch to the road, since they didn’t actually have one. none of you seemed against the idea, and so that’s exactly what you did. had you known what was going to happen mere moments later, you’d have an entirely different opinion.
agatha’s coven all stood still anticipating the arrival of the new green witch, you were a bit less interested, just wanting to leave, and so were not fully paying attention until a single hand shot up from under the ground. a hand that, embarrassingly, you still recognised. the pit that formed in your stomach was one you’d never felt, and it got so much worse when her full figure came into view. she hadn’t aged a day, well she had, she’s aged over a hundred years, but she still looked exactly the same as she did that night in the cabin. as she introduced herself, you hid yourself from view behind the lady dressed in pink, jen, who you’d decided was the only tolerable one here, but it was no use. she had seen you.
“y/n…” she smirked. this earned looks from the whole coven, considering her dramatic entrance.
“i have to go.”
you felt ill as you turned your heel and walked swiftly in the other direction. “maybe this is my trial?” you thought hopefully, praying that you’d turn around and the coven would all be dressed in hideous outfits that the road had picked out for them, but no, when you turned around, you were met by the hypnotic gaze of rio.
“y/n…” she began, “been a while.”
“don’t.” you snapped, “don’t even try.”
“what’s the problem?” she asked, feigning innocence.
“what’s the problem? rio its been over a hundred years.” you spat, malice dripping from your tone. she seemed to enjoy it.
“i’ve been… busy.” she replied playfully.
you didn’t respond.
carefully, she waded over to you, placing a hand on your lower back and using the other to grab your face to look at her.
not breaking eye contact, she brought her hand down to your collarbone, dragging her fingertips along a gash that you’d received from broken glass in the trial. you shuddered at the coldness of her touch. it brought you back to that night, because the only time you’d ever felt her heat up, was when your hand was on her face in the cabin.
her eyes met yours once again and she smiled gently, the same smile she’d smiled all those years ago, before leaning into you.
“rio.” you mumbled, stopping her. you looked up at her with conflicted eyes.
“come on,” she whispered, “look me in the eyes and tell me you feel nothing for me.”
“well clearly that’s not the case, rio, is it?” you spat, fighting the tears that were threatening to spill.
“so what’s the problem?” she asked, both hands now on your face.
“you shut me down the last time, remember?” you spoke, trying your best to drill into her head what she had done to you. “and then you think if you show up here a hundred years later and give me a kiss it’s all gonna be okay?”
“do you know why i left that night?” she whispered, dragging a cold hand into your hair, your eyes threatening to close at her action.
“oh, please, lady death, enlighten me! why did you leave me for a hundred years?” you asked, sarcasm lacing your tone. you caught her slight demeanor change at the use of her title, but it faded quickly.
“i was scared.”
and you couldn’t help but let yourself laugh humourlessly in her face.
“of what, rio, tell me what you were so scared of.”
“that i was’t good enough for you.” she replied, talking to the floor.
“don’t, you’ll set me off again.” wiping tears of laughter from your flushed cheeks.
she didn’t say anything.
“oh.” was all you could muster, “you’re serious?”
she could only nod.
subconsciously your hands wrapped around her waist, before they traveled up to her face.
“well you’re wrong.” you whispered, as she leaned into your touch.
“am i?” she asked, being more serious than you’d ever saw her.
“please, trust me, you’re the only one good enough for me, rio.” you replied, eyes never leaving hers.
“is that right?” she smirked, her confident demeanour reappearing.
“would i have said it if it wasn’t?” you smiled.
“so are you gonna let me kiss you now, or…” rio smirked, one hand grabbing at your waist, the other fidgeting with a strand of your hair.
“come here, you idiot.” you giggled, as you pulled her closer to you, and she grabbed your face to close the gap between you. kissing rio was a difficult feeling to describe, the best way you could would be to say that it’d be the same feeling you’d experience if you set foot in antarctica with no jacket, but it didn’t bother you, as long as you could do this again.

Batkids all missed out on their childhoods, Bruce included. Give me them trying normal kid things for the first time in their lives and going crazy
Like Jason seeing a kid have one of those fake phones where you have to press buttons and water pushes the rings floating on the screen onto the poles, and he can’t get it out of his head for the next few days until Bruce gifts it to him one day. He doesn’t know how the old man knew, Jason’s still not used to Bruce’s I don’t know how to express affection here’s a gift for you but hey, he wasn’t complaining. Jason picks up the phone, and he’s hooked. He carries it around with him everywhere and it’s now become his comfort thing.
Or when the whole family went out to a night tour and saw the light up sticks. They all spent hours fencing with each other and just enjoying how bright the lights flashed. And when someone showed them the lights could flash and change colours? They. Lost. Their. Damn. Minds.
Jason gets Dick a pair of light up sneakers as a joke, but somehow the older boy fell in love with it. He didn’t know they lit up at first, wondering why Jason had a smug grin on his face when he put then on. But the look on his face when he saw the colors, the lights all flashing was one that Jason would never forget. It was a look of surprise, followed by an expression of such pure joy and excitement Jason could’ve sworn he felt his heart melt. Dick refused to get his shoes dirty, only wearing them on special occasions or when he was genuinely happy and showing them off to everyone, constantly stomping and jumping around to see them flash.
Stephanie? Stephanie accidentally walked over one of those roll up pianos and jumped back when she heard the music play. It’s now her favourite accessory in her home and she has many more instruments and customised musical rugs in her home (courtesy of Barbara). It’s one of her favourite things in life.
Damian somehow got addicted to Club Penguin after Tim introduced him to it. He spent hours hooked on that game, saving every puffle he could and collecting them. After the game vanished for the internet, he was so distraught he refused to eat his meal for four days straight. This ended after a new version somehow made its way onto Damian’s laptop. Tim will never admit till his dying breath that he brought the game back just for Damian.

Shrimply Yours~
In which you invoke your shrimp privileges to cheer Floyd up.
Floyd x GN Reader! Enjoy, shrimpies!!~
—————
“Y’know Floyd, I’d say you’re the shrimp, not me.”
Maybe you really did have a death-by-squeezing wish. Or maybe your plot-armor protection had finally worn off. The eel in question lifted his head slowly at your words and side-eyed you, his golden eye glinting ominously in the Mostro Lounge kitchen’s light.
You’d been washing the dishes after asking Azul for a job in exchange for a little extra madol on the side. For the most part, your day had been as peaceful as it could’ve (the life of a magicless prefect was always maniacal), until you heard arguing from outside the kitchen. You all but jumped when Floyd slammed the door open and wordlessly stalked to the stove, and you spotted Azul walking off shaking his head to himself. Floyd shoved pan on the heat and began frying something, completely ignoring your presence. Was it even possible to fry chicken so aggressively?
In any case, Floyd seemed a little more volatile than usual at the moment, even considering it was him. The other students who’d been in the kitchen with you before had scuttled out before Floyd could snap at them too. But in any case, you knew that Floyd’s mood flipped faster than Crowley leaving all his work to you. So, you thought you’d try to lighten the mood.
At your words, Floyd slowly brought his head up from his deep-frying, golden-and-olive colored eyes zeroing in on you, baring his sharp, shiny teeth at you in a scowl. And in that split second, you suddenly remembered that Floyd was, in fact, a mer-eel. Moray, specifically. A predator. A predator that probably ate shrimpies like you. Who was now looking at you predatorily.
“What did ya just say, shrimpy?” His pupils were practically pin-pricks, and for a moment you swore you could hear the Jaws theme song in your head. You could remember, time and time again, your friends and upperclassmen telling you not to engage Floyd when he was in one of his moods. Even up until now, you’d never been on the awful end of his anger, especially alone. But you weren’t called beast-tamer for nothing, damn it, and maybe that title could extend to taming angry Floyd’s too. An angry Floyd that was still your friend.
“I said, you’re the shrimp, not me.” You maintained eye-contact with him, almost challenging him, ‘come at me, bro.’ You tried to keep a straight face, although you were deflating rapidly by the second because by Sevens this was so stupid but-
“Because you’re shrimply amazing.”
One second passed. Two. Three.
Then Floyd broke into a wide, sharp-toothed grin. He surged towards you, completely forgetting the frying food. “D’awww, SHRIMPY!!!”
He swooped behind you, wrapping his arms around you and picking you up. Your legs flailed around and now your arms were locked in as Floyd spun around the kitchen haphazardly with you in his arms. “Shrimpy knows just how to cheer me up! I knew this is why I kept you around!” He laughed cheerily, bobbing you up and down.
“FLOYD!” You cried, “PUT ME DOWN-“ the kitchen swirled crazily around you, as Floyd babbled some song or other cheerfully. Thankfully he’d stopped spinning, but began shaking you side to side while humming, “Shrimpy’s so brave n’ nice, all the other guppies left when they saw me but only Shrimpy stayed!”
He started pouting, and squished his cheek into yours. “Azul was bein’ mean to me, making me work now. Just ‘cause I roughed up a few customers doesn’t mean it was my fault! They shoulda been nice to me~”
Even though you were basically suspended in the air by him, you smiled at Floyd’s words. “Glad I could help Floyd, that was so mean of Azul,” you consoled him, hoping he’d put you down. He bent over until your feet were safely on the sweet, sweet ground, but didn’t let you go from his arms. The two of you swayed together, basking in each other’s company in the subpar lighting of the kitchen, until you frowned.
“…Hey, is something burning?”
“Ah shit, I burned the chicken.”

To Simon, you had always been Johnny’s girl. The two of you quickly became inseparable after you joined the team, spending long hours and nights talking about various things, joking on the comms while on the field, visiting each other in the infirmary, and even staying at each other’s places between missions.
You had never really shown interest in him. He was your superior, so you were always respectful, but you kept your distance. Maybe it was better this way. There was that one time a few months ago when he could’ve sworn he saw you sitting next to his bed in the infirmary after an injury, but when he asked the nurse, she confirmed that no one came to visit that night.
He knew he was catching feelings and he knew that was bad news. Every now and then he tried to get some answers out of Johnny about his relationship with you. What were you like in your civilian life? How did you dress? Did you wear makeup? Did you cook for him? Were you a perfect little housewife material out there?
“She’s the sweetest gal I’ve ever met,” Johnny told him with a dreamy look in his blue eyes. And then he would go on and on about your skirts and skin tight tops, your light, barely noticeable makeup, and the delicious meals you made just for him.
And then one day Simon was shot on the field and spent three days knocked out. When he woke up, he noticed you sitting by his bed, a scene that was eerily familiar to him. You were scrolling on your phone, eyes fixed on the screen so you didn’t even notice he was awake. He didn’t tell you, instead he used this opportunity to study your features as if he hadn’t done this a million times before.
He couldn’t stay awake for too long, and by the time he woke up, you were already gone. A doctor came to see him, looking surprised when he found out there was no one else in there. “She left? Huh, it’s quite early for that,” he noted.
Simon didn’t understand. “What do you mean?”
“Oh, your sergeant spent every night here with you since you were brought in. I don’t even know when was the last time she slept.”
This was the moment he realized maybe you had your reasons to keep your distance. But if—and that was a big if—you had feelings for him, why were you spending so much time in Johnny’s company? Well, that was the million dollar question he wouldn’t get an answer to anytime soon knowing the pair of you.

🎧: 'cause you have to — lany
"wait for me, okay?"
those were the last words you heard from sae. honestly, it seemed like he wanted to say more, but he held back. with a quick glance over his shoulder to make sure his parents weren’t watching, he leaned in and pressed a kiss to your forehead before walking away. you could’ve sworn his ears were tinged pink.
rin nudged you with a smirk, the kind that screamed mischief. "i saw that," he muttered under his breath, grinning annoyingly. you rolled your eyes in response, brushing off his teasing.
still, those unsaid words lingered in your mind. you hoped they were what you thought they were. the three words that would have secured his spot in your future, the spot next to your bed, and the spot on your left ring finger. but even without saying them, you felt like you were already his. that kiss said enough.
a few years. that’s not too bad, right?
your relationship with sae during his early months in spain was great. though he wasn’t the type to communicate much, you could tell that he was actually trying. every few days, you’d get a call from him. one time, when you asked why he always opted to call instead of text, he simply responded, "typing is annoying." in truth however, he just wanted to hear your voice.
but as the months passed, the calls grew less frequent. rin complained (and teased) especially, since you were the only one sae kept in touch with. you bribed rin with the popsicle sae used to buy to shut him up, and he immediately stopped sulking.
the turning point in your relationship came about a year after sae left. the calls turned into texts, reserved only for special occasions.
sae: happy birthday
[name]: i miss you
he left you on read, no response. after that, sae stopped reaching out entirely. your attempts to contact him went unanswered. you were his, but was he still yours?
no. was he ever yours to begin with?
in the three years without sae, you often felt like something was missing. the ache was subtle but constant. those years were especially hard: dealing with your studies, fending off a few persistent suitors, and enduring rin's teenage phase. honestly, you managed just fine. rin was great for scaring off suitors with a single glare, and you threw yourself into studying as a distraction. but the hardest part, the part you could never quite get used to, was the feeling of longing for someone halfway across the world.
once, you even tried to let someone else in, to open your heart just a little. and then you saw one of sae's interviews—calm, stoic, untouchable. that was all it took to slam your heart shut again. you felt sorry for the person you'd rejected, but not as sorry as you felt for yourself. you knew how pathetic it was to yearn for someone who probably didn’t even think of you.
now, at seventeen, you’re packing your life into boxes, shoving them into the back of a car. you hug your parents goodbye as they tearfully remind you to call often (which brought a dagger to your heart as you remember a specific someone), their voices cracking with pride and sadness. you’re not just leaving for university. you’re leaving behind everything—this house, this town, and the memories that haunted you.
and then, in a heartbeat, everything changed.
as you pulled out of the driveway, your thoughts consumed by all that you were leaving behind, the world outside blurred into an indistinct haze. a momentary distraction—a glance at your phone, a message from sae.
sae: i'm here. can we talk?
your heart dropped. why was he here, now of all times? you couldn't help but feel a spark of hope. you believed that he loved you—at least, the younger sae did. a part of you longed to believe that he still loved you like he did back then.
you loved him in that spring, and as much as you hated to admit it, you still loved him in this winter. but what about him? doubts began to creep in. maybe you had outgrown each other. maybe sae had outgrown you. maybe you'd become a distraction to him, dead weight—nothing but a reminder of a past he could no longer hold on to. perhaps this was just his way of giving you closure.
the questions lingered in your mind: “did you only love me because of that kiss? did you only love me because of the promises you made? does some part of you feel like you owe it to the boy you used to be? do you only love me 'cause you have to?”
the screech of tires, the crunch of metal against metal, and then the darkness swallowed you whole. in those final moments, as the realization of what was happening crashed over you, the last remnants of sae’s voice echoed in your mind, blending with the chaos of the moment. you had been ready to leave it all behind, but now, it seemed, the goodbyes you gave would be your last.
"i'll leave you two alone," rin whispers, taking one last glance at your tombstone before walking away.
"sorry," sae whispers. though there are a million things he wants to say, that's all he's able to let out. afraid that if he talks any more, his facade will break down, and the carefully constructed walls he built around his heart will shatter under the weight of his grief. he wishes he could have been the one to love you more. he clenches his fists, feeling the sting of unshed tears burning at the corners of his eyes.
it hurts to know he will never hear your voice again, never be able to kiss your forehead again, and the crushing weight of it all leaves him hollow. a shell of the person he used to be, forever haunted by the knowledge that he let you slip away when he should have fought to keep you close.
"i'll take my leave now," he whispers to rin, hands in his pockets with the coldest expression rin has ever seen.
the younger itoshi wanted to say something. fight in your stead for all the pain his elder brother had caused you, but he understood that causing a scene here wouldn't be good.
plus, the tears on sae's face spoke enough.

nightmares come true // logan howlett x reader
summary: you get hurt during an intense battle
oneshot: ANGST, comfort. Swearing, injury, violence
word count: 2k
I’m currently taking fic requests btw!!! masterlist
The bleeding wouldn’t stop.
You could’ve sworn Logan described this exact scenario to you before. Down to the very last detail.
A few times actually. It was only ever after you calmed him down from the nightmares that he told you what they were really about.
They were the same, each time. Sometimes the location or clothes would vary, but the outcome never changed.
They were of you. Dying in his arms. In a pool of blood.
Death was something Logan never had to worry about. His powers wouldn’t allow it. But, when it came to you, that was a whole other matter. He thought about it all the time.
When the nightmares returned, and they returned often, they filled him with so much fear it scared you.
He woke with your name on his lips. You whispered words of comfort against his sweaty skin. And wrapped your arms around him, burying your face in the crook of his neck and told him you were safe. That he was safe too.
All those nights, you combed through strains of wet hair and held him close, waiting for his breathing to steady. Sometimes his claws would come out. Thats when the night terrors were really bad. On one occasion, they accidentally cut you. Logan refused to sleep in the same bed for days after that.
He would always ask you if you were okay after those frightful dreams. Every single time. And you’d tell him you were and hoped he’d go back to sleep. But you knew he stayed up. Afraid take he’s eyes off you. Afraid the dreams would become real.
Were you slipping into that dream now?
Kurt held your head in his lap. He pressed down on the right side with shaking hands, muttering under his breath. Something about God and healing. You didn’t really know, your hearing and vision were both fading.
He applied more pressure to your wound. The pain was so bad you wanted to scream. It was the kind of pain that made it impossible to think, talk, breathe, or do anything.
Your heart was beating for its life. The pulse pounding in your brain right where it hurt the most. It grew bigger and bigger. Your head was a ticking time bomb, ready to explode.
The ship shook violently, the battle outside raging on. You thought you could hear Logan shouting for where you were. But you couldn’t tell. There was blood in your ears.
You pleaded with the universe that Logan wouldn’t see you like this.
Another shockwave hit the plane. You winced from the sudden movement, your brain throbbing underneath a relentless force.
“I need… I need to help them.”
But Kurt wouldn’t let you move. You caught a glimpse of crimson on his blue skin and underneath his nails as he gently pressed you down.
“They’ll be fine.” He assured you. You were too exhausted to protest, your body sagging against your friend. “You just need to stay still.”
The constant rocking back and forth of the plane and the ground rumbling beneath you wouldn’t let that happen. But Kurt kept you as steady as he could.
Flickering red and orange lights illuminated the windows. Smoke billowed past, creating dark clouds. You noticed you couldn’t smell the fires burning. You could only smell metal. There was a man shouting at Kurt to open the hatch.
He carefully laid your body on his jacket, now soaked with blood. Your blood. You'd have to buy him a new one if you made it out of this mess. The thought brought a weak smile to your face. Kurt pressed one of the control buttons and the hatch slowly opened.
Logan couldn’t wait for the hatch to finish opening before rushing in, still asking for you. His black suit was full of holes but his skin was completely healed over. Dirt and specks of blood stuck against the sweat on his face and hair. He was breathing hard, the smoke from the fires making their way into the ship. He covered his mouth, finding the button that closed the hatch.
Then he saw you. Lying on the cold floor. Blood seeping into a coat pocket, body trembling.
Logan felt sick. Like someone reached into his stomach and rearranged everything. No amount of metal or regeneration could protect him from something like this.
His jaw clenched, ready to burst at the seams. It was a rubber band wound up too tight. “What the fuck happened?”
“I don’t know.” Kurt stammered, still shaking. “I see someone falling, I grab them.” He returned to the same spot, putting pressure back on your skull. “We came here once I smelled the blood.”
A whimper escaped your mouth. Logan snapped out of the initial shock and made his way over to you. His knees hit the hard floor. He took your hand. Nausea overcame him when your blood went cold against his skin. “Hey. It’s me. It’s okay. You’re going to be okay.” He kept repeating it. Just like he did in his night terrors.
This didn’t feel real. It couldn’t be.
Could it?
But it was.
He could sense it creeping in.
You weren’t supposed to be in this situation. Logan had gone out of his way to make sure something like this would never happen.
But sometimes, nightmares come true. And the worst one was unraveling right before him.
“Go… help.” You were wheezing. The rattle slithering out whenever you tried to speak. Was there blood in your lungs too?
What you said made him hold onto you that much tighter. “No way in hell. I’m not leaving you like this.”
He paused. From where he kneeled, he had a clear view of your injury. He wanted to tear those monsters outside to pieces.
You shut your eyes, face curled up in pain. Kurt continued to mutter prayers. Logan held your cold skin to his mouth, leaving frantic kisses on the back of your hand. It almost looked like he was praying too.
Then, a blood curdling scream irrupted from you. You screamed so hard that your legs thrashed and fingers tightened around Logan’s wrist. You’d never felt pain like this before. All consuming. Like a dragon swallowed you whole. Blades of flame and ice scattered along its esophagus.
Logan slammed his fist against the metal floor. “God dammit!” He was trying to keep himself from crying. A wild look overtook his eyes. He whipped his head towards the hatch and back to Kurt. “Go get Jean.” He ordered his teammate. “Now!”
Kurt nodded. He would not hesitate. He tried peeling Logan’s hands from your own, but Logan would not budge. He only looked more confused, hurt and angry.
Kurt sighed, pointing at you. “It’s for her.”
Logan let some of his anger dissipate, realizing what Kurt was trying to do. He let him guide his hands to your head and vanished into thin air as soon as Logan was in the proper place to care for you.
Logan pushed the fabric against the gash in your skull. Your eyes scrunched up again, teeth biting your lip.
“You’ll be fine.” He repeated over and over again. He soothed you with it. Cradled your head in his lap. Made sure to stay as still as he could. He put too little pressure on your head. As soon as he noticed, he put too much pressure on the wound. He eventually found the balance, watching your face twist back into a more comfortable position. “Nothing you can’t come back from.”
Something wet dripped onto your forehead. Mixing with your own tears. Was Logan bleeding too?
The darkness was inviting you to sleep. Yet, you didn’t want to leave Logan’s warm embrace. But you were so tired. And the nothingness was quiet. Your eyes fluttered, fighting the blood loss.
Panic shot through him. “Don’t you fucking dare.” His pleas grew more erratic. He was reaching for words that didn’t belong together. “The flowers in your room. You need to water them.” When did so much blood get in your hair? Your breathing became shallow. “Everyone gets hit in the head. Fucking get up.” You couldn’t smell anything anymore. Was his voice falling apart? “I think we should go home.”
There was a brief flash of blue that popped into your blurry view. Red hair swam front of your face. Cold hands taking over for him. There was more talking and cursing. You felt drunk in the head. Logan’s animalistic screams faded as he ran out of the hatch, claws unsheathed. Jean yelled for him to come back.
Then it was just darkness. A long sleep.
Logan was by your side when you woke up.
He nearly jumped out of his seat when he saw you struggling to open your eyes. But, he hesitated to touch you. Like one wrong move would send him back to that pool of blood and claustrophobic ship.
“Hey.” He let out a shaky breath.
With the pad of his thumb, he gently brushed away the crust underneath your eyelids. You could see much clearer now. The infirmary was empty except for the two of you. The lights overhead were nearly too bright to handle. Your head was still pounding. But the worst pain was in the chest, moving all the way to your back.
You noted the tear stains on his cheeks and the black, torn up X Men suit he was still wearing.
How long were you out? You really hoped he didn’t stay here watching over you for days on end. You needed him to take care of himself.
It took a while to gather the strength to speak. “Logan…” Your voice scratched the air. It still hurt to talk. “When did you last sleep?”
Logan let himself exhale once he heard your voice. You were alive. Right in front of him. But it didn’t feel real until now. “You of all people, are worried about me?” He chuckled, kissing your forehead, caressing your cheek. “Never change.”
You pushed your face into the palm of his hand. “Is everyone else okay?”
He nodded. That was good to hear. Everyone made it out of that hell hole safely. As soon as you were able to, you were going to go thank Kurt for everything he did. And buy him a new coat.
“See? Nightmare averted. You can sleep just fine now.”
His face fell. “No. I can’t. I won’t.”
“That’s a little dramatic, don’t you think?” You motioned towards the water on the table. He sat on the edge of the bed and brought the straw to your lips. The water was cool against your dry tongue and sore throat. You let him put the drink back. “Was it that bad?”
He pursed his lips, tilting his head in discomfort. His fingers gripped the sides of the bed. They turned white against the blue sheets. “What do you think?”
“Can’t really think right now. My head is killing me.”
“And a collapsed lung.” He added. You thought he was going to break the bed.
Memories started flooding back to you. The powerful kick to the chest, the weapon slicing open your head. Then before you knew it, you were falling.
“I did a lot worse to that fucker than what he did to you. I made sure of it.” He pinched the bridge of his nose, his face curled up like he was in pain too. “This can’t happen again.”
Your throat was dry and it still hurt to talk, but you powered through. “I can’t promise you it won’t.”
He whipped his head around. He looked so tired. “You almost died last night.” The pain echoed off every single word. “It. Can’t. Happen. Again.”
You reached for his hand and he hesitated again. Eyes locked on the tiny injuries along your fingers. That’s where he kissed you as you lay dying.
“I’m sorry.” His fingers danced across your own, avoiding them like a crush.
“This isn’t your fault.”
“Sure feels like it is.”
You began to cough. Your bruised ribs hurt with each sharp inhale and exhale. Logan brought the straw back to your lips. “Jean will be back soon to check up on you. Take it easy, okay?” You swallowed, thanking him once again.
There was a pause, but not an uncomfortable one. “I think you should go get some rest.”
“I’m fine.” He picked at the fiber strains of your blanket. “I don’t sleep, I get a little tired. You don’t sleep, you can barely function. I get hurt, I heal just as quickly. You get hurt…” He stopped himself from finishing the sentence by biting down on the inside of his cheek. “God, I need a fucking drink.”
“Then go get one. After you take care of yourself.”
“That is taking care of myself.”
“No, it really isn’t.”
“Jesus.” He dragged his hands over his face. “You are not going to let this go?”
“Nope.” Logan wanted to kiss that stupid smirk off your lips.
He sighed. “I just don’t want to go through it again.”
“Maybe you’ll dream of something different this time. Something better.”
Jean walked into the room, still giving the two of you space. He knew you’d be fine with her. That you were safe now. But it still hurt to leave.
“Fine. I’ll go sleep or whatever.” Logan kissed your forehead one last time before standing up. “But then I’m coming right back.”
You watched him go with a weak smile. There was still a lot of healing to do, but you’d do it together.

Your gravity falls fanfics are so good!! :0 if you’re still taking requests could I request a one shot where Stan’s s/o is with him during the fight between him and ford and they get sucked into the portal instead of ford? I love your angst so much hehehe
Part two is right here
You had originally came with Stanley as support for when he confronts Ford after spending a long period of his life with no contact, no nothing to reassure his twin that he was fine and not dead in a ditch somewhere.
‘The nerve of him, living it up here and not so much as a word to his one brother, his twin no less.’ Stan muttered, his gip tightened on your hand as you both walked up to the lonely shack amidst the snowy forest, but there was something else there besides anger it was nervousness or perhaps worry that his brother didn’t contact him for one reason or another.
‘And here’s your chance to make yourself heard,’ you said as you squeezed his hand, hoping to comfort Stan during this difficult moment for him, ‘you’ve spent enough time to mull over what it is that you want to tell him, now is the time to let him know how much this has affected you and he will have to listen regardless.’
However you’ve came to realise that there was a lot more going on that Ford claims that you and Stanley weren’t aware of as his eyes shifted everywhere out of paranoia. You were still blinking your eyes after getting abruptly blinded by Ford upon first meeting, something about possession? You were certain this wasn’t how you thought you’d be meeting Stan’s twin -not in the slightest- but it was clear to you that Ford was afraid of something, what it was he wouldn’t tell only saying that he needed Stan to hide his journals, scatter them as far from each other which did nothing but annoy Stan.
You could see the clench in his jaw and his fists and were about to reach out and ground him but before you could blink, Stan and Ford were tussling over the journal across the lab as the portal thrummed with power, almost as if entertained by the fight between twins and you were left unable to do anything but watch.
‘Is that all you brought me here for! To help you hide your journals?! I bet I didn’t cross your mind not even once!’ Stanley shouted as he kept the journal close to his chest with his lighter as he managed to keep Ford where he wanted him.
‘You don’t understand Stanley! This is dangerous things you are holding in your hands!’ Ford replied, eyes firmly locked onto the journal and the flickering flame of his brother’s lighter that got too close to the journal’s pages for his liking. ‘Think about the potential threats-‘
‘Fuck that! I want my brother back!’ Stanley cuts his brother off as he grew frustrated at how his brother was - once again- not listening to him or what he had to say. ‘You could’ve called upon me any time! But you only call upon me when you want someone else to do your dirty work for you! What about what I want! My life is in ruins because of you!’ Ford lunged towards Stan and managed to knock the lighter out of his hand, grasping at the bottom half of the journal while Stanley tightened his grip on the upper half of the journal.
‘You ruined your own life and you’ll ruin y/n’s with the way that you are going!’ Ford retorts in a strained voice as he and Stanley tugged the journal in two different ways, just for Stanley to loose his grip, fall backwards and hurt himself on a hot surface that caused him to scream in pain. ‘Stanley!’ You and Ford yelled as you both went to rush to Stan’s aid, hoping he wasn’t too hurt, only for him to Punch Ford in the face and as Ford stumbled backwards he bumped into you. which then caused you to fall back into a lever of sorts; before soon finding yourself beginning to float and be drawn towards the portal with nothing to grab onto to prevent it from happening.
Freaking out you yelled, ‘STANLEY! HELP ME!’ You screamed as you found yourself getting closer and closer to the entrance of the portal, helplessly flailing out of pure panic and need to get away from it, not realising that your attempts to get away were fruitless. Your screams had dragged Ford and Stan from their fight as they could only watch in horror as half of your body was already in the portal.
‘Y/n! Baby! HOLD ON! JUST HOLD ON BABY IM COMING!’ Stanley yelled back as he frantically looked for anything he could use to rope you back to the ground, but grew frustrated when he couldn’t find not a single piece of rope or metal rod lying about, the lab was clean of any and all obstruction. ‘FORD HELP ME!’ He cried as he looked back at his twin, who was frantically looking himself for anything to get you away from the portal, just to face the same problem that frustrated Stanley. ‘I’m trying!’ He shouted over his shoulder as his guilt for bringing both you and Stan here began to weigh down on him heavily.
‘Well you’re not looking hard enough!’ Stanley barked as the fear of losing you was slowly crushing his chest, making it harder for him to breath as his mind raced with the thought of having to live a life without you, his anchor, his best friend and his beloved partner. He hated it, he didn’t want to envision it but here he was living the nightmare he swore would never come true, feeling helpless and useless as he was forced to hear your frightened sounds and not be able to do anything about it.
He didn’t even get to say the words ‘I love you’ yet as he was scared that you’d find someone better then him before he even mustered up the courage, but you never did. You stayed by his side, even if it mean moving from state to state almost every week because of him and Stanley knew he didn’t deserve you, but that didn’t necessarily mean he wanted to loose you from his life either.
Stan and Ford tired their hardest but it wasn’t enough as by the time they looked back at you, your outstretched hand was the last thing the pair saw as the portal closed, leaving them to stare at the portal in denial of their failure to rescue you. ‘Baby?’ Sanely said as he stepped forward hesitantly. ‘BABY! THIS ISNT FUNNY! COME OUT PLEASE!’ He cried louder now when the realisation began to set for him as he ran towards the lever, pulling it and pushing it in desperation of re-opening the portal in hopes of seeing you rush out and right into his arms; where he would keep you for as long as you’d allow him to.
Only for neither of those things to happen, the portal remained shut and you remained lost to whatever was on the opposite side, scared, confused and alone.
‘WHY ISNT IT WORKING!’ Stan screamed as he pushed and pulled, pushed and pulled the lever so much that Ford had to physically drag him away from it before he broke it, thus making more work for them in getting you back. ‘Stop Stanley, it’s not working!’ Ford said as he managed to stand between his twin and the lever, ‘the portal is out of power, it won’t open up unless we get the necessary materials to open it again.’
‘Then what are we doing! Let’s go get it!’ Stanley said as he was about to leave the lab but was stoped by Ford’s hand on his arm, which he shrugged off violently. ‘It’s not so easily obtained Stanley,’ Ford said as he let his hand drop to his side as Stanley glared at him, ‘we need money to get the parts needed to power the portal up. I only had enough to open it once and that took a lot of time, even with Fiddleford’s help, and without him or the necessary materials…’ Ford trailed off which didn’t help Stanley’s mood as he grew angrier at his brother’s insinuation.
‘They’re trapped on the other side forever?!’ He yelled. ‘Bullshit! I don’t believe that! I want them back now!’ Stanley then grabs Ford by the collar and brings him so that they were eye to eye. ‘Give them back or I swear to fucking god Stanford-‘
‘I can’t bring them back without the necessary materials Stanley I told you.’ Ford reaffirmed as he started at his heartbroken twin as the first signs of tears left his eyes, Ford felt Stan’s grip loosened on him until they went completely slack at his side as he fell to his knees, chin dropping to his chest as he silently wept. ‘Bring them back.’ Stanley chanted softly, ‘being them back to me, I can’t loose them. You don’t understand. They’re everything to me and now I’m nothing without them.’ Stanley whispered to the air as if someone with the power to grant his wish will hear him, but instead elected to ignore him and his pleads.
Ford, heartbroken at seeing how distraught and lifeless his brother had became, slowly knelt in front of him in silence, not knowing how to comfort him correctly as he felt himself to blame for your disappearance into the portal. He had taken away the one person who cared for Stanley in the times where his family couldn’t be bothered, someone who loved him unconditionally regardless of what he did and Ford had taken you away from him seemingly forever, so he wouldn’t be surprised if Stanley would hold a grudge against him for it.
However one thing was for certain, he’d help his brother get you back however he could, no matter how long it would take them, even if it took them thirty years to do so; it was a risk that Ford originally wasn’t willing to take but if it meant getting you back to Stanley then he’d do anything to see his brother happy again.

In which you settle into a new routine on the farm and your new life takes shape around you.
homestead masterlist
Your ring finally fit again, the swelling in your hands having gone down. It was beautiful, you realized again, and a reminder that you were more than Rafe’s captive. The paperwork didn’t matter to him, and the formalities were meaningless in his eyes.
His connection with you was primal, bound by something more profound than vows. He would love you in sickness and health and vowed to provide for you and your baby, no matter the cost.
Two months have passed since you gave birth to a healthy baby boy. You had longed to meet him, but your pregnancy had been filled with anxiety. Despite your hopes, you couldn’t shake the fear that something would go wrong during your home birth. And in the end, you had no control over the most important day of your life. Rafe had promised to be open-minded, but you soon realized his words were hollow.
He hired a midwife, an older, experienced nurse named Mabel, whom you had met twice before the big day. When your water broke, she was at your home within thirty minutes, a testament to her dedication. Despite the fear and anxiety you felt, Mabel was a steady presence. She guided you through each contraction, her hands firm yet gentle, her voice calm and reassuring.
She held your hand throughout the process and praised you when you felt you were at the end of your rope. Hunched over the edge of the master bathtub, warm water caressing the naked bottom half of your body, you faced a raging storm inside you. The pain was indescribable, but you felt a responsibility to your unborn child. The least you could do for him was try your hardest.
You screamed loud enough you thought you might lose your voice entirely. You expected Rafe to falter, to show signs of fear, but his resolve didn’t falter. He hadn’t lied before about his confidence in you, about how deeply he believed you’d be a good mother. You could see in his eyes that he was the most proud of you that he’d ever been.
“She’s an old lady, but she’s got grandkids. Three boys and two girls. I’m sure they want to see her again. If you say anything out of line, I’ll make sure she doesn’t ever leave here,” He’d warned you earlier, and his threat lingered in the air. You focused on the baby just as you had since you arrived here.
You cried even more after your final push when your son’s cries filled the room. They echoed, the most beautiful sounds you could hear in that moment, and you were happy to be able to hold him immediately.
In that moment, the house you associated with being controlled turned into a home. You’d endured here and brought life into the world despite everything.
You had braced yourself for the sight of JJ, but instead, your baby looked like any other newborn—red-faced, furrowed brow, and already expressing his displeasure at the world. Fragile and tiny, he was a perfect, delicate being. Surprisingly, you managed to walk to the bedroom that night. Mabel and Rafe helped you through your exhaustion beyond anything you’d ever known. The constant cries of your baby kept you alert, preventing you from drifting off.
Kai, your baby boy, was carefully assessed by Mabel. She was the one to cut the umbilical cord, a request you’d made to her during your last meeting. She wrapped a warm towel around his body and checked his heart rate, made sure he was able to breathe correctly by suctioning his airways and placed him back on your chest when she felt he didn’t need any immediate care. You couldn’t remember exactly, but you could’ve sworn she complimented you. You were a natural, and at that moment, you believed her.
Never in your life had you done something so natural, so innate, and now the heart in your chest was open in a way you didn’t realize it was capable of being. Open for Kai. You loved him instantly, in a way you’d never felt towards anyone – not even JJ.
You cried the entire time. Your cheeks were wet with tears, but your body moved the way it needed to.
Throughout it all, you cried. Your cheeks were damp with tears, but you moved as needed. You cradled Kai while Mabel tended to your injuries, checking for hemorrhaging and monitoring your vitals. She continued to guide you, and though you knew the real challenge was just beginning, you were grateful for her support. This wasn’t how you envisioned it, but dwelling on it wouldn’t change anything.
Despite how close you were to falling asleep, this was the time you had to learn because Mabel wouldn’t be here forever. You wished you’d read more books about parenting like Rafe had suggested when learning to breastfeed. You were clumsy with that part of things, unsure of the positioning, and you battled with the fear that you wouldn’t be able to produce enough.
Now, two months later, you worried for the time that Kai wouldn’t need you. He was so tiny, to little to think about at that time, but you hated to admit how much you enjoyed the feeling of being needed. You felt it with Rafe now that he relied on you to keep the house together and the more intimate ways that he needed your attention.
It seemed he’d had the time frame of four to six weeks embedded in his mind. Four to six weeks without sex to allow for proper healing. During that time, he had kept his distance, allowing you to heal. But once your body began to return to normal, and you could swap the adult diapers for regular underwear, you noticed a change in him. There was a raw, almost animalistic instinct in him that recognized when your body was ready again. The shift was subtle but undeniable, and you were drawn back into his orbit.
Rafe had started growing out his facial hair, which you had playfully dubbed a “dad stache.” That nickname once led to a playful tackle and laughter-filled tickle fight that filled you with joy. You had expected to see less of him with the baby as an excuse to keep you apart, but instead, he adapted. He worked from home more often, bringing Kai with him and letting him nap in a bassinet beside his desk.
You thought you’d be weary of them being alone together as you were still getting used to this new Rafe. To you, he was still the guy who did lines of cocaine at high school parties and perfectly drove a yacht when his blood alcohol was way over the legal limit. There were still lots of moments where he needed your help, but he seemed to take pride in being able to handle Kai on his own.
Now and then, you’d get an eerie feeling, realizing you’d settled into a routine. You’d spend weeks happy, not crying or thinking of JJ and Pope. It hit you like a ton of bricks when you remembered, and you’d often go quiet. It was a pit of sadness that was hard to pull yourself out of.
As you looked down at your beautiful ring, you marveled at how normal it felt to wear it. Keeping it in its box seemed like a waste, especially since the ring wasn’t to blame for past wrongs. It could symbolize whatever you choose to make of it. When you glanced up, Rafe was walking through the front door. Molly greeted him with enthusiastic barks until he quieted her with a gentle shush and a pat behind her ears. He correctly assumed Kai was sleeping.
You folded your hands behind your back, watching the smile that pulled at his lips. He flipped his ball cap so the brim was facing behind him, undoubtedly to keep his locks from his face. Your eyes trailed down to his t-shirt and then his arms, seemingly having grown even more prominent when you’d been reunited with him. The way he looked in work clothes certainly wasn’t fair. He looked even more like himself, better than ever than he had in a blazer and tie.
“Hey,” His crystal eyes found yours, “How’s it going?”
The whisper in his voice, this new tone the two of you now spoke in because of the baby, was the icing on top. You squeezed your thighs together, grateful for the long smock dress you were wearing, officially signaled to you how out of whack your hormones were.
“Lunch is ready,” you said quickly, pointing to the neat plate of caprese sandwiches you’d made.
“Looks great, Honey. I’m starved.”
He walked by you, towards the the sink to wash his hands, but you were looking away. You grabbed two plates and two glasses, setting them down in front of the kitchen island’s bar stools. You started making your plate before you poured both of your glasses of pink lemonade.
“This a recipe from the book?” He asked before immediately chugging down half of his glass.
“No, I kind of just threw together what we had in the fridge,” You answered, grabbing ahold of your sandwich. Rafe was already taking a massive bite out of his, “How is it?”
“Fucking delicious. Is that pesto?” He responded, his mouth a little too full.
“Yeah,” you chuckled, taking a bite of yours. “Pesto, tomato, mozzarella, and spinach. And that ciabatta bread you get from the market. It’s so good.” You recited the ingredients, deciding that you were quite impressed with your work.
“Reminds me, I need to go down there soon. Make a list of everything you need, will you?”
You nodded, “I will.”
The thought of going with him crossed your mind. Being inside for so long was starting to make you slightly agoraphobic. Now that you have Kai, you understand that you need to protect him and keep him from the dangers of the outside world.
After lunch, Rafe pitched in to help with the kitchen clean up while you prepped ingredients for dinner. Tasks you’d never learned in foster care, like defrosting meat properly or dicing vegetables, were becoming more familiar.
You stole glances at Rafe, of his muscular back that you could see clearly when he bent over the sink and his long fingers splayed out over a cloth as he dried dishes. To gain some space, you took the baby monitor from the counter and quietly moved down the small hallways near the kitchen, deciding to catch up on some laundry. With Kai, there was even less time in the day to get things done, so you’d begin cramming your chores into his nap time.
You were listening to the rhythmic, mechanical hum of the washing machine, folding towels on the counter space near the window. Hands-on your hips jolted you from the escape your mind had reached, completing such a monotonous activity.
There was no point in saying his name; you knew it was him, and you froze, letting the unfolded towel you were holding crumple beneath you. He pressed into you, pinning your front to the counter. The height of the counter, right at your waist, allowed him to wrap his arm around your front and bend you over.
“I’m doing something!” You yelped when he pushed he pushed your front back down after you tried to straighten yourself. He pressed his face into your neck, chuckling, seemingly amused at your defiance.
“You know what you do to me, don’t you?” He grunted, and your eyes widened as you felt him hiking up your dress. He made sure you felt exactly what you did to him, hard and pressing against your bottom, “You feel how hard you make me?”
“I’m serious,” The warmth of his breath sent shivers down your spine, and deep down, you were grateful for the friction. It had been so long since you’d been touched the way you needed. This isn’t how you wanted it to happen and it certainly was a stark contrast to how he’d treated you when you were further along in your pregnancy. There was no passionate makeout or a gentle massage. It reminded you of what you already knew he was capable of, “Rafe, please–”
He kicked open your legs, pressing into you harder, one hand firmly on your back as he pressed you into the counter, “You don’t need to fight it. You’re mine, remember? I take care of you.”
“Yes, just please–” His palm slammed hard down on your bottom, and you gripped the towels in front of you tightly. Whatever view he was getting of you was pleasing. He brought his hands down several times, surely leaving bruises and making your legs tremble as you tried to escape the pain, “Rafe, stop! That hurts!”
He shushed you, “Stop fucking moving then,” He continued his assault, only stopping when you gained enough strength to still your legs. You kept them still as you could despite how the skin of your bottom burned. He stepped backward. You didn’t dare move again, and you heard the clinking of his belt and the undoing of his zipper, “Atta girl, stay bent over, but reach back and pull your panties down.”
“Rafe, please don’t be so rough,” Your voice was low as you tried to settle down your racing thoughts.
“Honey,” His voice was raw, slightly pleading, “I need you like this. Pull your panties down.”
You felt the same hunger, needed to quench the same thirst, but demons haunted him. He could be gentle when he wanted but this is what he truly desired. You cringed when you heard him spit, assuming it was into his hand because you were scared to look back at him. His hand was now lubricated; you heard him pumping at his length.
Slowly, you reached behind to pull down your panties, revealing more of the bottom he’d just bruised, “Fuck,” He cursed, “Touch yourself, Honey.”
You did as he said, knowing the feeling would be more soothing than him spanking you again. Mostly, you were hesitant, knowing that you were revealing how wet you already were, how just looking at him earlier left stickiness on your thighs.
“You like when I tell you what to do, don’t you?”
“Rafe,” You pleaded, and he knew what that meant.
“You need someone like me. Tell you what to do. No thoughts in your pretty little head,” You felt him come closer as you continued to rub slow circles, “Yeah? Tell me, Honey.”
“I … I like it,” You needed him inside you and for the process to hurry itself up. Your mind was emptying; all you knew was that every word and every inch he came closer made you feel like you were on fire.
“What do you like, Honey?”
“I like … w-when you tell me what to do.”
“You need me, don’t you?”
“Yes, Rafe,” You moaned, “Just … fuck, please Rafe–”
“Tell me,” A hard spank made you yelp. You watched as he placed the same hand against the counter, right by your face. You kept circling.
“Please, can you put it inside?” You begged softly.
“So polite,” He praised, and you felt him at your entrance. You expected him to enter you slowly, to torture you, but Rafe slid inside you in one swift motion. You cried out as his other hand roughly grabbed your waist as he drove into you harshly.
It was painful before it was pleasurable. He grabbed your arm so you were no longer touching yourself before pinning both your wrists behind you. You watched the baby monitor in front of you fall over at the rough motion.
The counter’s edge dug into your hips, his length nudged against your cervix, your ass was throbbing from the spanking, but you hung onto that feeling of finally feeling filled. His grunts filled the small room, along with the steady thrum of the washing machine and the soft static of the monitor.
There was nowhere to go, and his wrists only tightened, “I’m gonna put another baby in you,” Almost against your will, your climax came faster than you realized, and it tore through you hard and fast. Rafe took it as a sign that your body wanted this. This was the first time he could get you pregnant, and you were naive to think he would want to take things slowly.
“Rafe, I can’t.”
“You will; you’re doing so good for me,” He spoke huskily, ignoring you, his pace still relentless. Tears of pleasure and pain filled your eyes and escaped down your cheeks, “I’ll show you … Fuck, I’m so lucky.”
His body tensed as he spilled into you with a final and forceful thrust. As he let go of your wrists, his hands trailed over your hips, his grip starting to soften. You stayed there, frozen, as he kissed the side of your neck and then your temple.
In the aftermath, a softness emerged in his tone, “You okay?”
When you didn’t answer, his arms tightened around you, lifting you off your feet. Numb and strangely satisfied, you wrestled with a creeping regret. Part of you questioned whether you should have fought harder, but another part wondered if this was simply how things were meant to be—if this was what you deserved.
With panties still loose around your thighs, Rafe brought you upstairs to the shared bedroom. He placed you on your feed inside the bathroom before helping you out. You folded your hands in your lap, looking down at your ring. “Relax,” he said, “Clean yourself up.”
“But Kai-”
“I’ll check on him,” Rafe assured you.
“He’ll need a feeding soon.”
“Clean up first, lay in the bed, and I’ll bring him to you.”
“Okay,” You agreed.
There was no apology from him—only an acceptance of his own nature and an expectation for you to do the same
You showered like he’d instructed, but that didn't take away the feeling of him being deep inside of you. Your bottom stung worse under the warm water, but you accepted the small amount of refreshment it offered. You dressed in a soft, white robe before you climbed into the bed. The rest of the afternoon was quiet.
Rafe sat beside you as you fed Kai, his gaze steady and watchful. Thirty minutes later, the three of you settled into a peaceful mid-afternoon nap: Kai nestled in his bassinet by your side of the bed, and you resting in the secure embrace of Rafe’s arms.
You don’t forget your old life because you choose to, but because your heart needs to make space—space for Kai and the future Rafe is determined to build within you. There was no room left for pain.
I hope you enjoyed it! I'm not sure if I want to add anything else, I feel like this could be considered a good conclusion. Let me know your thoughts!

𓏲⋆ ִֶָ ๋𓂃
How sweet life could be when you finally were given what you have desired for so long.
As if Jacaerys and you had spoken it enough times into existence, the Queen had summoned both of you not long after Jace had visited you in your chambers and you had read to him. At the first moment, you had not truly believed what she told you, the marriage finally taking place soon to strengthen the bond Jace and you already shared. Jacaerys had beamed with joy and relief, lifting you in his arms and carefreely spinning you around as his mother smiled at you with fondness.
Perhaps it had been wrong, to keep you apart for such a long time, but she had a feeling you and him had not really let any distance come between you, even before her announcement of your union…
Ever since then, Jacaerys and you had been walking on clouds, thrusted into a second honeymoon phase although the first official one had not even started yet.
As your wedding day drew closer and closer, Jace found more time in his day for you and you were rarely seen without each other, always walking hand in hand or sitting together in the library or the private chambers of your family. Your hunger for each other only had seemed to intensify and you had become familiar with the quiet and dark halls of Dragonstone, sneaking into his chamber late at night or being surprised by him sneaking into your warm bed…
Although you slowly explored more and more of each other’s desires, there was still one thing you both wanted to save for your wedding night; when Jacaerys would enter you for the first time as your husband, he wanted to see the wedding bands on your hand, celebrating the love you shared for each other and having all night to ravish his sweet little wife…
Now, you tilted your head back and let out a joyous shout, the sound swallowed by the clouds rushing past you. Underneath you, your dragon was infected with your felicity, roaring her satisfaction out loud. Your companion and you were high in the sky, climbing higher and higher until you were sure you could see the whole world lying to your feet.
Up here, the matters of the war did not matter and it felt like you were the only one in the world, a proud princess of Dragonstone on her beast.
But you were not alone.
You’d never be again.
Beside you, a green and red lightning shot past you and you laughed at the way Vermax briefly cut off your lane, your dragon playfully snapping at his tail as he bolted skyward. Briefly, you saw your betrothed’s face, furrowed in concentration and skill as he stirred his dragon past you and you knew the chase was on, shouting an excited command at your own dragon and sending her after them.
“Sōvēs vēzot!” (Fly up!)
You could’ve sworn you heard Jacaerys laugh with the wind as if he had already shaken you off and claimed the victory for himself. But you were competitive and your wicked betrothed knew, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips as the distance between you slowly began to shrink.
Higher and higher the four of you went, Dragonstone shrinking more and more and the air becoming crispier. Your eyes were fixed on Jacaerys’ strong back and your heart fluttered as he shot a look over his shoulder to check in with you.
You shot through the last thick layer of the clouds, closing your eyes against the cold. When you opened them again, it seemed like you had been transported into a painting.
For a moment, time stood still and your dragons almost were levitating in the sky, frozen in the circle they danced around each other. You held on tightly to your saddle and nearly stood up straight at the tight tangle your dragon flew with you. The snouts of your dragons nearly touched and you could’ve reached out and taken Jace’s hand like this.
“I win.” Jace called out to you, a broad grin making his face only prettier and your heart only filled with more longing.
“Who said the race was over?” You challenged him and with a quick and effective command, your dragon nudged Vermax’s neck and put her wings close to her own body. With one last look at Jace, you blew him a sweet kiss and held on tight.
Vermax and your dragon let themselves fall and the air rushed out of your lungs all at once, taking your breath away as they catapulted towards the lands underneath you. The wind cut sharply into your skin, your hair a wild whirlwind behind you, but you loved the feeling, a touch of unlimited freedom as you fell down the skies with your love by your side.
Jacaerys could’ve chosen everything to gaze at during the downfall, but yet he looked at you, wild and free in your saddle and slowly letting go of the reins, your arms spread wide like the wings of an angel. You were a vision, his perfect princess soon to be his wife and he thought to himself that no adrenaline on dragon back could ever compare to the feeling of being in love with you.
Shortly before the ground, four dragon wings spread themselves and you were pressed back into the saddle at the final home stretch.
In the distance, the entrance to the dragon’s caves came into sight and you spurred your dragon on for a final time, eager to arrive before Jace and Vermax, to declare the flight out as your own personal win. Vermax growled as you passed him and you grinned over your shoulder at Jacaerys, who looked at you with a mix of lovestruck awe and raw hunger that sent an anticipating shiver down your spine.
The ground shook as your two dragons descended into the pit and you breathed in the similar scent of saltwater and cold biting air, your dragon purring at you with gratitude for the adventure.
You dismounted from your dragon and slid down her wing. Your girl was cooing affectionately as you petted her neck, pressing a little goodbye kiss to it before you turned around to watch Jace climb down Vermax.
“Not too bad!” You called over as you slid off your gloves, grinning as Jacaerys strode towards you with determination in his eyes. “You could work a little on your commands for Vermax, but overall you flew very pleasantly-“
The rest of your sentence was lost when Jacaerys pulled you close by the waist and kissed you. You laughed against his lips at his eagerness as he walked you backwards until your back hit the cave’s wall and he could press himself against your body. Both of his hands were cupping your face and you kissed him back just as desperately, the competitive ride out in the sky having fueled your desire for each other.
In the background, Vermax and your dragon grunted, seemingly pleased with this development and retreated into the big cave they had chosen together, a recent change since the keepers had officially announced that the dragons had bonded and were now a pair, inseparable for all their lives.
Jacaerys sighed into the kiss, his thumb brushing over your jaw as he held you close and your own hands traveled over his chest and into his messy curls. You beamed under his hungry attention, arching your back and not caring for someone that could walk in on you.
He nudged a thigh between your legs and in his strong arms, he hitched you upwards until you had to stand on your tiptoes to keep up with him, both your hands pressed flat against the cold walls as he devoured your mouth with his.
You playfully bit his lip, causing him to hiss. Breaking the kiss, you looked at him breathless, his pupils dilated and hungry for more. Slowly, as if it slightly displeased him, he let you down gently.
“My prince, as much as I appreciate your thanks for the ride out…” You said quietly, leaning forward yet again and pressing small teasing kisses to his exposed neck. “Your bride would like to take a bath after such exertions.”
His gaze on you darkened infinitely. “Perhaps you’d like some company?”
The idea was tempting.
You remembered one of your ancestor’s diary entries about an adventure in the baths, how the feeling of being joined only intensified in the warm water, making it easy for a man to move his woman however he pleased in the weightlessness of the tub. Your eyes traveled over Jacaerys’ beautiful features, imagining it heated and sweat gathering at his brow as you sat in his lap, the small waves of your bath crashing against the tub as he was deep inside of your warmth, helping you rock your hips back and forth on his hard cock…
How temping indeed.
“Meet me afterwards.” You whispered against his lips and with one swift motion, slipped past him and out of reach.
“Temptress.” He called after you and you threw a vulgar gesture over your shoulder, grinning at him before you ascended the stairs of the pit, pleasant tingles traveling through your whole body in excitement. His laughter echoed across the cave’s walls, following you through the hallway.
You returned to your chambers with a smile on your lips, the adrenaline of being on dragon back only slowly ebbing away. Your maids had lit some candles and you smelled lavender and honey from the bath chamber attached to your bedroom. While your lips still tingled from Jacaerys’ kiss, you forced yourself to focus on the matter at hand for now; getting rid of the dragon stench on you and refresh before your betrothed would visit you later…
Letting out a quiet moan as you sank into the prepared hot bath, you let yourself soak, your mind supplying you with lovely fantasies of Jace doing the same in his chambers, his strong lean body relaxing underneath the water surface…
A small eternity later, you emerged from the tub, sighing deeply at the pleasant ache in your bones and grabbing the comfortable silk robe on the dresser, a new piece in your collection ever since Jacaerys had become a frequent visitor late at night. You had quickly found out which kind of clothing made your future husband’s mouth water and how Jace loved to run his hands over the thin fabrics…
You looked at yourself in the mirror, your damp hair falling freely over your shoulders, cheeks rosy from the steam of the bath. The bride of a future king, the love of his life.
Gracefully, you walked outside the bathing chamber and a pleasant shiver went through your body as you saw his shadow lurking, sitting on your bed and looking out of the window, lost in thought.
Your naked feet on the marble betrayed you and Jace looked up, his eyes immediately darkening as they roamed over your body, the silky fabric hugging your curves perfectly.
“Has the bath been to your satisfaction, princess?” He asked hoarsely, not able to tear his eyes from you as you slowly approached where he sat.
You hummed, considering. “It was quite nice.”
“You’re beautiful.” He murmured under his breath as you came to stand in front of him, stepping between his legs and taking his hands so you could place them on your waist. “Every day I wake up and thank the Gods that you are mine, my love.”
Your heart softened and you cupped his warm cheek as your thumb caressed his skin gently. “I had a lot of fun today…and everyday I try to will myself to patience, but it’s hard…”
“I know.” Jace replied, his hands on your body flexing for a second. “Soon, we won’t have to hold ourselves back anymore. We’ll be as unchaste as we’d like.”
You laughed, the sound like little bells in Jace’s ears as he tucked you closer and you fell into his lap. The robe parted a little as you placed each of your knees by the side of his hips and you saw his throat bob as his eyes lingered.
“We also have not been very chaste in the beginning.” You reminded him teasingly, your breath brushing over his lips as you leaned closer in his lap. “Or do I need to remind you of your very successful efforts to warm your wife at the inn-“
“An incident I often happily think about…” He murmured back and you gasped as his hands splayed over your naked thighs, his fingertips drawing little patterns into your warm soft skin.
“Me too…” You breathed near his ear, relishing his warm cheek against yours as he hugged you close, his body a warm furnace against your own. “Sometimes I believe my hunger for you should be sated for now, but Jace…it’s a bottomless well. I will never tire of it.”
Jace hummed pleased, his hand caressing your cheek before he gently touched the back of your neck, drawing you closer until your foreheads touched and your breath mingled. “Not long, my love. Not much longer.”
“Care to give me a foretaste, my prince?” You whispered mischievously and sighed happily as he immediately brought your lips together, both of your pent-up desires crashing together.
Jacaerys was hungry for your taste, his tongue eagerly dancing with yours as his fingertips dug into the soft skin of your thighs. The feeling of you in his lap brought something primal and hopelessly obsessive in him to the surface and he thought there was no better place fitted for him than standing at your service, his lap a wonderful source of pleasure for you as you slowly ground against him. Your hand touched his jaw, delicate yet needing contact and he held you tighter, a breathy moan making it past his wet lips.
These…outbursts had become nearly a ritual ever since the evening you had read to him and he had tasted from you, both of your systems hooked on each other in a heartbeat, always hungering, always longing.
Rarely a night passed where you did not sneak down the corridor and slip into his chambers, sometimes to just slide underneath his warm covers and find peace in his welcoming arms until you’d fall asleep together as you had at the inn. Sometimes, or rather most of the times, he was already opening the door when you had not even knocked yet, just as desperate as you were to see him.
Then, in the safe haven of his rooms, you’d kiss each other senseless and you lost count of the many ways Jacaerys learned to take care of you, and you of him. He hoisted you up and pressed you against a wall, kissing you and whispering how much he had missed you all day, although you were never far apart. You led him to the desk where he worked, making him sit down and relax for you as you sweetly touched him, watching his every reaction while wetness pooled between your legs. He set you down on his bed and made you lay back into pillows which smelled like him and you’d bury your face in them as he passionately ate you out, even more skilled now than the first time he had you convulse around his tongue…
Memories of him and you swirled around in your head and you found yourself ridiculously wet already, humming pleased into his mouth as his hands ghosted over your sides, the robe slipping more and more from your shoulders as you made out.
You wanted to eat him alive.
You wanted to be ravished by him until there was nothing left for you to give to him.
Suddenly, there was a knock against the door of your chamber and you froze, your hips stilling their desperate efforts to gain friction against Jacaerys’ loins. You stared at each other, pupils wide and both breathless as you briefly leaned your head against his shoulders and sighed deeply.
“I am indisposed!” You quickly called over Jace’s shoulders, the shifting of feet outside your rooms unsure. “What is it?”
“Dinner will be served in half an hour, my princess.” One of your maids called through the door. “Do you want me to bring it to your rooms?”
You looked at Jace, a little smile now on your face. “Are you hungry?” You whispered to him and he shrugged, his hands affectionately squeezing your bum.
“Not for food…”
You rolled your eyes, fighting the blush creeping onto your cheeks. “Well, the kitchen’s creations will have to do for now, my prince. I’ll join dinner shortly!”
You listened as the steps retreated and brushed your fingers through Jace’s soft curls, lost in his kind eyes on him. “Tomorrow, I’ll have my fitting.” You murmured against his lips, relishing the way you could feel his small exhales against your own.
Jace hummed low in his throat, his nose briefly nuzzling yours. “I assume Baela and Rhaena will join you?”
You nodded and played with the locks in his nape, biting your lip to hide your grin. “I’ll be draped in satin and silk and miss you terribly.”
“I will see your wedding gowns soon enough, my love.” Jacaerys reminded you mischievously, his playful smile infectious. “Although it’s rather a shame that I am so eager to take them off you so soon…”
You could not hide the shiver that went down your spine at his teasing words. “And yet it is you calling me a temptress.”
“Not tempting…” Jace smiled smitten. “Just promising.”
You turned serious again, the love for the boy in front of you overflowing.
“Soon.” You whispered and kissed his cheek.
“Soon.” Jacaerys echoed and helped you stand up from his lap, his thumbs brushing over your knuckles with a promise before he departed with a longing kiss to your lips, leaving you to prepare for the dinner you’d have together with your family.
*
It was like the old Valyrian gods had blessed the day themselves, when Jacaerys and you finally became husband and wife.
The sun was reflecting on the wet sands of the beach by Dragonstone, a clear blue sky over your heads as you stood in front of each other by the sea. A little to the side, stood his family that had become your own so naturally, still the two of you were lost in each other’s eyes completely.
You didn’t think you had ever been this content, this peaceful in all your life as you looked into Jace’s eyes, filled with love and determination to finally make you his for all to see. Jace and you were both dressed in the traditional robes of your house for the ceremony, the red and pale-golden fabric allowing the wind to drift through it, oddly grounding you into this moment.
Jace’s hair had been left unruly while yours was loosely braided over your back, a headpiece you had seen on the Queen during her wedding adorning your head now. You had never felt more beautiful, more cherished and seen as Jace looked deep into your eyes as your union was officiated.
When it was time for Jace to take the dagger, you were nearly thrumming with excitement, so much that your beloved had to hold your hand steady as he carefully cut into it. A small hiss escaped you at the contact of the dragon glass and Jace squeezed your hand in comfort. You repeated the same for him when it was your turn, your blood joining as you pressed your palms against each other, smiling despite the pain.
More words in High Valyrian rolled over you like the waves of the sea and you opened your lips to a sigh when the process was mirrored on your lip, a delicate little cut you barely felt. You were too busy looking at Jacaerys, his own eyes dark and concentrated as he lifted a finger and drew the right ancient sign on your forehead, the continuation of your bloodline now secured.
“One flesh, one heart.” The two of you said in union, holding each other’s eyes captive as you recited the holy vows. “One soul, now and forever.” It had been true for you all along.
You grinned at each other brightly as you were handed a cup and you watched Jace closely as he took a sip and then gave it to you, the sweet contents thick on your tongue. You swallowed it down and it was like the salty breeze around you came to a halt.
In the distance, where Vermax and your dragon were perched against the cliffside, both dragons roared, the first ones to celebrate with you. The Queen smiled approvingly as the priest stepped back to give her son and you, his wife, some space.
It was done.
You let out a small disbelieving laugh, stepping closer as Jace entwined your fingers. “I love you so much.” You could not believe your luck, the way you were his now, forever.
And he was yours.
“I love you…” Jacaerys murmured and pulled you closer, your fingers sliding over the fabric covering his strong arms as your lips met each other with a sigh. You smiled into the kiss, your heart giddy with peace and satisfaction as you embraced each other, the new union fueling the kiss with a fire that had slumbered in you for far too long. You squeezed his shoulders assuring as a tiny sound left his lips, close to a love-struck sob as you kissed and kissed on the shore of your home, the blood still dripping from your entwined hands into the sand of the earth…
Much later that day, the wedding celebrations inside of the castle found their end as Jacaerys and you walked down the corridor, his hand resting on the small of your back as your own trembled slightly with anticipation.
Earlier, there had been a grand feast in the hall, with your close family present and raising their cups to Jacaerys and you. You had laughed and danced beneath the candlelight of the chandeliers, lost in each other as your family watched fondly from the dinner table as Jacaerys had spun you around as if you were kids. Your shoulder blades had touched his, both of your arms raised as you danced together.
You had felt every gaze of his on you, little shivers shooting through you at the prospect of finally being alone with your husband later and when it was time to retreat into the privacy of your now joined chambers, you had gone willingly. You welcomed the change of scenery and the time alone with your love. As you walked, your steps hurried and a little uncoordinated from the wine you’d had with his family, your thumb brushed over the ring on his finger.
Two beautiful pieces now adorned your hands, forged with dragon fire and adorned by a scale of the other one’s dragon. Too often, the pad of your thumb had brushed over Vermax’ scale on your hand now and too often you had caught Jace looking at his own ring in wonder during dinner. No one except the two of you would ever know how much this meant for Jace and you.
“Alone at last.” Jace murmured with a half grin on his pretty face as the door to your new chambers came in sight.
You gave him a look over your shoulder, eager to disappear with him for the rest of the night and preferably long into the next morning. “It was wonderful. I…I don’t think I have ever been so happy in my life before today.”
“I feel the same way.” Jace replied softly, squeezing your hand in his and holding the door open for you as you slipped inside.
The door to your bedroom fell shut behind you and for a moment, you simply looked at each other, breathless and thrilled at the thought of being alone. Earlier, the bedroom had been readied for the new couple the two of you made, its air smelling sweetly and dozens of candles painting the room in a soft glow. The bed was freshly made – a pity, since you planned to make a mess of it soon.
Jace and you came to a stop in the middle of the room, the frame of the canopy bed behind you an inevitable presence. A carafe of red wine had been placed on the table before your bed, but neither of you felt like clouding your mind with liquor when you could simply enjoy each other’s company.
You laced your fingers together once more, the cloth over both your wounds touching. You lifted his hand to your lips and gently kissed his knuckles, Jace’s eyes becoming dark with want. You whispered; “Does it hurt still?”
Jace shook his head, stepping closer. “If it’s two small cuts I have to endure to be yours, I would’ve wounded my body much sooner..”
The words warmed you from the inside, your chest filled with it while a low fire slowly grew in your stomach. Earlier, you had felt his burning gaze on you during the celebrations. You had laughed and danced with Baela and Rhaena and Jacaerys had watched you with hunger and awe. The same emotions now flickered across his face, his hands pulling you into him by the waist until you nearly stood chest to chest.
His breath ghosted over your bottom lip, the atmosphere tilting into a direction the both of you welcomed. Jace brushed back a strand of hair that had fallen into your hair, squeezing your side. “I finally get to kiss my bride now.”
You chuckled, nudging him. “You’ve kissed me before today, Jace. You’ve even kissed me when I wasn’t your wife yet, remember?” In many, many places.
He rolled his eyes, leading you towards the bed. “Always so keen on details…”
“You started it.”
“My wonderful, brilliant queen.”
The words had your heart skip a beat, the admiring words leaving him as you gently pushed him on the edge of the bed. Jacaerys stared up at you, mesmerized and captive to your own longing stare.
“I’d like to call in a favor for my first night with the future king.” You teased him. “It is something I have desired for a long, long time.”
“And what is it my queen desires?” He asked raspily, throat a little dry as you stepped closer and felt the warmth radiating off his form.
You smiled warmly at him, your hands resting over his own as he placed them on your hip bones, his thumb drawing soothing circles into the fabric of your luscious dress. Leaning down, your lips brushed against his cheeks as you whispered: “Her valzȳrys .” (Husband.)
Jacaerys’ hold on your hips tightened and with a sigh on your lips, he dragged you forward and into his lap, your warm thighs underneath your luxurious gown on each side of his. He found your lips like he’d found a light in the dark, effortless and natural and when you two finally kissed as wife and husband, twin sighs were released into each other’s mouth.
It was like the spark lit the flame, your fingers danced over the laces on his chest, quickly loosening them until you could rest your fingers on his naked chest, his heart beating faster underneath your touch. Jacaerys held you as if you were something delicate, a flower blossoming in his warm embrace, and a headless moan bubbled up in his throat as you shifted on his lap.
“My love…” He broke the kiss and brought your foreheads together, both of you breathing heavily. “Would you let me undress you?”
The breath in your throat hitched and you nodded quickly, smoothing your hands over his cheeks once more before you untangled yourself from his lap and sat down next to him, your hands supporting you on the mattress.
Jacaerys looked over you, the way your chest moved up and down, the jewels adorning your dress glittering in the lights of the candles. You were a vision, but he wanted you bare tonight, a luxury you had not gotten yet together. Bare except for the ring on your finger.
“You looked so beautiful tonight…” Jace kissed the corner of your mouth as your fingers tangled themselves in his silky smooth hair. “I can’t believe you’re mine now, forever.”
“I’ve been yours since we first met, Jace.” You murmured back, knowing the truth in your heart. “We were always destined to be each other’s.”
The kiss you shared then was gentler, a break from the all-consuming passion racing through your veins and when Jace moved his lips to your neck, his hands slowly brushing down the fabric around your shoulders in his wake, you sighed blissfully. Your head fell back as you watched him carefully unwrapping you from the lace and silk, his mouth leaving a wet trail where he kissed your throat, your collarbones, then your naked shoulders…
You had to force yourself to take steady breaths, a stifled moan leaving your lips as he began to unlace the front of your dress.
“Easy, my love…” Jace practically purred at you, his dark eyes soft as he laid them on you. He could feel you shiver in anticipation, a delight he’d rather not let it turn into anxiety when he wanted to take the best care of you. “I got you.”
“I know.” You sighed, your fingers busying themselves with taking off your necklace and the heavy earrings, letting the jewelry clutter onto the nightstand. The next few minutes passed like you were caught in a dream, your mind drifting afloat at the gentleness and respect Jacaerys undressed you with.
Goosebumps followed wherever he went and when he helped you sit up so he could get rid of the dress, you both held your breath. Jace had touched your chest before, but there always had been fabric between your skin and his and now, there was not any.
Jacaerys’ eyes feasted on your body, a vision in his bed, your hair spread out on the pillows and rosy chest exposed to the candle light and his eyes. His hand laid on your waist, a small comfort to let you know he was there in the moment with you and underneath his burning gaze, you felt your buds hardening, a shiver going through you entirely.
“You’re beautiful.” He murmured with adoration, his body leaning over yours as his hands traveled upwards and he laid his lips on your neck. Your eyes fluttered to a close, your mouth dropping open as his warm chest touched yours and his mouth began to ravish you. Jace had kissed your most intimate parts, slowly learning what you liked and what drove you insane, but after all, it had all started with a kiss to your neck.
And since the night at the inn, he had spent many, many hours kissing it, finding out how sensitive you were in the area, what little spot would make your toes curl in pleasure. You panted into his hair, holding on to him as he traveled over your sides and slowly pushed down the rest of your own until your legs were freed and you laid bare under him. Frantically, he pushed his shirt off, returning to your side immediately and looking into your eyes.
“Are you okay?”
You wanted to melt at his sweet tone. You nodded, still shivering from his undivided attention. “Yes…You can touch me, Jace. Please touch me.”
His hands ghosted over your stomach as he plastered himself to your side and slowly drifted upwards, your body leaning into him wantonly. You exhaled shakingly as his warm hand cupped your boob, his thumb sheepishly brushing over your hardened bud.
Jacaerys watched you with sensation sparkling in his eyes, his own hand shaking with nerves as he slowly began to explore your body. Your legs tangled together and yours fell open on your own accord, surrendering to the skilled hands of your husband. A sigh escaped your lips as Jace kissed your neck, his curls brushing over your naked collarbones as he relished the taste of your skin.
He was fire all over and you needed him to consume you.
Arching against him, you bathed in the pleasure his touches brought you, a pliant vessel at his hands. There was so much love in the kisses you shared, in the way he mapped out your body, it nearly drove a few emotional tears to your eyes, overwhelmed by the feelings you had for your love. And Jace’s actions had riled your whole system up to the point where you felt wetness pooling between your thighs, a dull throb resting inside of you, in need to get attention.
“I need you.” You breathed, hazy eyes looking into his and swallowing thickly.
“You got me.” Jace breathed, his shaky hand wandering down your body. “You will have all of me tonight, princess. Let me see you…let me see how wet my girl is for me…”
You whimpered at his praise, tensing for just a little moment before it was all washed away when Jace’s fingertips made contact with you pulsing bundle of nerves. He innocently kissed your cheek before he slowly began to draw circles onto you, making your mouth drop open from the familiar yet exciting sensation.
“So beautiful, such a good girl.” Jace purred and you moaned loudly, curling your body into his as your legs fell open even more, granting him full access to the most intimate part of you.
“Feels good…” You breathed and gasped as Jacaerys dipped his fingers lower and gathered your wetness on them, easing the way until you were positively soaked. It was getting hard to think and you became putty in Jace’s embrace as he left kisses on your shoulder and neck, his fingers playing you like a delicate instrument. “…more.”
Jace kissed your brow, enchanted by the sight of your naked body in the warm lights, your hips rolling into the palm of his hand as he began to breach you with his finger, luring a broken moan from your sweet lips.
“Gods, you are divine, my queen.” Jace murmured, well aware of his own arousal he intended to push down for just a little longer. He needed to take care of you, needed to cherish and pleasure you like this while the ring on your finger shimmered between you, his own white scale of your dragon on his finger the prettiest sign of ownership he could’ve ever imagined for himself.
You melted into the bedding below you, closing your eyes and fully giving yourself over to Jacaerys and the divine feel of his finger slowly moving inside of you while his thumb knowingly stroked your clit. After all, he had had his fair share of practice with you, when you still had to hide while sneaking into each other’s bed, and Jace was a fast learner, knowing exactly how to please you now.
You lost yourself in the hypnotizing feeling of his, his finger soon joined by another and creating a delicious friction against your inner walls that had you moan shamelessly. Time began to slip away from you and you had no idea how long Jace spent fingering you, soft praise and little I love you’s being murmured against your ear as he watched your every reaction.
“I need you to get on top of me…” You whispered against his plump lips and he let out a shaky sigh, still clearly affected by his own sweet assault on your cunt. He lifted his glistening fingers, covered in your arousal, to his lips and moaned at the taste of you, cleaning himself off so he would not dirty you. You stared at him, mouth agape with awe, and quickly pulled him on top of you.
You quietly laughed together at your eagerness and your naked thighs framed his hips perfectly, as if you had been made by the gods to please him, as he had been made to pleasure you. His hands rested on each side of your head, playing with your hair as he pressed kisses to your temple, your cheek, your chest which had you gasping.
You palmed him through the fabric of his briefs and he hissed, throwing his head back which you took immediately as a chance to suck and lick at his throat, feeling a little drunk on the power you held over Jacaerys, how the smallest touches could make him whimper just for you.
With sheer will power, Jace leaned back on his knees, staring at you with fire burning in his dark eyes as he got rid of the last piece of clothing on him, his hard and leaking length making your throat go dry. You supported yourself on your elbows, watching intently as he stroked himself over you with bliss. He looked so beautiful, you could’ve painted him.
Slowly, you opened your legs, exposing your soaked center to your beloved and Jace nearly lost it then.
But he was not going to let it end so soon tonight. Tonight, he’d cherish you as he intended to do for the rest of your lives. Jacaerys sunk down to the temple beneath your thighs, cradling your face in his hands as he laid on top of you. He was careful not to put his whole weight on you, gazing deep in your eyes.
“I love you so much.” He whispered, almost fearful at his heart, speaking so loudly in this very moment.
“I love you, Jace.” You whispered back, your hand brushing over his back, making his skin break out into goosebumps. “I want to feel you. All of you.” Gently, you pushed down on his lower back and the last distance between you vanished as his cock made contact with your cunt.
You both let out a sigh in union, something akin to both shock and relief at once. The feeling of your hot flesh sliding together sent your heart into overdrive and you tangled your fingers into Jace’s hair for stability.
“F-fuck…” Jace squeezed his eyes shut, seeking shelter in the crook of your neck as he bucked forward, his cock dragging over your sensitive center, the leaking head brushing over your pampered clit and making you dig your nails into his shoulders.
It almost felt too good to be true, the sensation unlike anything you had experienced with each other so far. Jace’s leaking tip and your soaked cunt mixed together, until slick sounds and your shared moans were filling the room.
Jace moaned as if he was losing his mind as his naked cock slid over your wet folds, your cunt clenching around nothing as the friction and his sweet whines got to your head. It was too much and not nearly enough and your legs tightened their hold around his waist as endless shivers went through you, obsessed with the way you two fitted together.
“Gods.” You gasped, all thoughts in your hazy mind incoherent, but screaming for Jace, surrounding you, inside of you… “I need you, Jace. Jacaerys, please, we’ve waited long enough, my love.”
“I adore you.” Jace cupped your cheek, his movements stilling as he lifted your thighs so he could wrap them around his waist. “I love you so, so much. And I will be gentle, I promise.”
You smiled brightly at him, anticipating swirling hotly under your skin as you stroked his hair, willing the little nervousness inside of you away. “I know you will be. I want you so much. I know it will be perfect.”
With two final little kisses on your eyelids, Jacaerys lined himself up at your entrance and slowly began to push in.
You gasped, not able to suppress the little whimper leaving your throat as your face scrunched up at the small pain tearing through you. Jace’s hips still instantly, his hand cupping your cheek and making you focus on him and find steadiness and comfort in his loving eyes.
“Deep breaths, my love.” He murmured, clearly affected by the way your cunt squeezed him , unused to any intrusion that was more than his fingers and tongue. And he was certainly more than that…
You let out a shuddering breath, eyes glazed over as Jace brushed a tear from the corner of your eye away and continued to shelter you in his arms, letting you both get used to the new sensation. Your husband whispered sweet little affections into your ear, stroking your hair. “’m gonna need you all relaxed and happy, take your time, my dear…”
You sighed gratefully, letting your trembling hands wander over his naked back and into his hair, grounding yourself through touch as the sting in your abdomen faded away. Experimentally, you tightened your muscles and Jace bit his lip to hide a guttural moan, beads of sweat gathering at his temple from having to hold still for you.
“Kiss me.” You begged him sweetly, needing his lips on yours, to devour him, to melt into one forever.
Jacaerys complied in an instant, surging forward as you bucked your hips up at the same time, inevitably making him slide deeper into your tight heat. Both your moans were swallowed by a fierce and passionate kiss and the two of you got lost into each other as Jace finally started to slowly move his hips again, following a slow and soft rhythm that made you feel butterflies in your belly.
You tilted your head back on the pillow and Jace took the opportunity to kiss your throat, his fingers laced together with yours as he gently pressed your hands into the pillow. Your husband barely felt in control, the tight and wet sensation of his length inside your cunt quickly getting to his head…
Your eyes snapped open when you heard him release a cute little whimper, desperate and overwhelmed and you smiled besotted, your cunt clenching around him automatically. Jacaerys bit his lip, but you were quick to shoot forward and press a kiss on it.
“Let me hear you.” You encouraged him, unlacing your hands so you could wind your arms around his neck, bringing you closer together. “I want to hear my husband as he makes love to me.”
Jacaerys groaned deeply as your nails dragged over his spine, shivering as he was being pushed further into you by your legs around his hips. He searched for your gaze, serious and attentive although you squeezed him like a vice. “Does it still hurt? I don’t want to cause you any pain.”
You shook your head, warm all over from his care. “I’m okay. You’re…perfect.”
“As you are, my love.”
After this, it seemed like Jace became braver, daring to sink deep into the altar between your thighs, the slide slippery from how aroused and pent up you were. Every inch he let you feel him deeper and after a while, you could not stop the string of soft moans leaving your parted lips as Jacaerys continued to roll his hips into you at a slow pace.
Your thighs framing him twitched suddenly as the curve of his cock dragged over a mushy sensitive spot inside of you and you felt drunk on the both of you, the pair you made.
“Do that again…” You whispered and Jace, flushed all over his chest, looked at you with surprise. Experimentally, he did and your toes curled, a high-pitched sound left you, almost wounded. “Fuck….feels good.”
“Yeah?” He could not hide the little smug grin as he watched your pretty face as he plunged into that spot again, your back arching off the bed. “Am I making my wife feel good?”
You whimpered, nodding as your whole core tightened up from his words. The strength to move with him in sync quickly left you when Jace suddenly reached down and traced little patterns on your neglected clit and the fire enveloping you consumed you wholly, your mind clouded with fog as Jace took over, his own movements sloppy.
“C’mere, my love.” He murmured and you gladly opened your arms, his strength surprising you once again as he leaned back and lifted you with him. You gasped as he gently helped you sit down on him, your hair pooling around your shoulders as you both looked down to where you were joined, his length disappearing inside your weeping cunt.
The angle changed everything. You felt full, he was so much deeper than before and your thighs were shaking as you wound your arms around his neck and hid your face against his lean neck. Jace soothed you gently, his hand caressing your back as you simply existed like this for a while.
“Let me do the work now, hm?” He suggested softly near your ear and you nodded limbless, feeling as if you could feel him all the way up in your stomach like this. You never wanted to part from him.
Jace’s hands wandered down over your backside until he could squeeze your warm flesh and began to rock you forwards, each push making your clit drag over his abdomen and catapulting you into yet another new world of pleasure. You stifled your groan by softly biting into his shoulder and your husband approved, tilting his head back so you could pepper his skin with kisses and tiny bites.
You let him do whatever he wanted with you and soon, Jace fucked up into you, making you nearly scream as you raced towards your end, your slick painting his thighs and lower stomach. You could not think and clung to his body, breathing heavily into his ear as you shivered from each thrust he delivered.
Jacaerys was not far behind you.
“You’re close, I can feel it.” He murmured, his fingers brushing over your cheeks as he lifted your head from his shoulder and stared deep into your eyes. “You are so beautiful, ñuha jorrāeliarzy…I want to feel you, want to see you come in my arms.”
You whimpered, feverishly rocking your hips on his cock, your hand sneaking down your body but being caught by Jace’s. He kissed it before he cupped your core, two of his fingers sliding over your aching clit as he fucked up into you, hissing.
“I’m close-“ He warned you, sweat gathering at his brow as he took in your beautiful sight.
“Me too…” A disbelieving chuckle left you and Jace wanted to melt, bringing your lips together for one last passionate kiss before he felt both your bodies movements seize their inevitable ends.
“Come for me, princess.” Jace kissed you wantingly, helping you move before he felt your cunt contract around him wildly. “Let go, my sweet little wife…” The same words he had spoken to you at the inn, where it all started.
You burst apart into a field of heavenly stars.
Tightly clinging to Jace, you rode through your orgasm, a few overwhelmed tears of yours dripping down on his collarbones as he held you tightly against him. Seconds later, Jace felt himself coming inside of you, a strong tidal wave washing over him as the rocking of your hips in his lap stilled. You were boneless, completely spent, and gladly collapsed into his embrace.
Tiny aftershocks went through your body and your hot breath bounced off his skin as he soothingly stroked over your back with his own shaky hand. Sweet nothings were whispered in your ear and you never wanted to get off him.
“Avy jorrāelan.” You breathed against his lips, both of your eyes filled with so much love, it made your chest hurt. “I love you so much, Jace…”
He raised your trembling hand to his lips, kissing the ring on your finger before he did the same to your cheek, your temple and at last, your lips. “I love you, my queen. Now and for all the days still ahead of us.”
He was yours and you were his.
And with the scales of your dragons on your ring finger, it was always going to be just like this.
Jacaerys and you, forever.

TFOne!D-16/Megatron x Cybertronian!Reader One Shot: Conjunx
Here’s another One Shot with my bbg D-16. This one just cam e into mind so of course i got to writing. I’m pretty proud of this story and I enjoyed writing for only D. I hope you all enjoy!
TW/Tags: Fluff/Wholesomeness at beginning, D is precious and silly, angst after cut after wholesome romance, Implied abuse (mild), kidnapping, toxic relationship at end. Might make part 2? We’ll see what my brain throws at me at 2 am lol
You and D only really hanged out when Orion was around. Not because D was embarrassed but because Orion was usually busy doing something else. You were seen as a quiet bot and also cool by D. You always stood up to the superiors knowing you weren’t out of line. And despite being a few inches smaller then D. You were strong! D won’t admit it but he was defiantly attracted to you.
One day when getting off the train, Orion did something stupid again. Elita dragged him away to do a late mining shift as punishment. Later D was alone and worked on punching the punching bag in the mining quarters. The others left him be, knowing his temper without Orion. He was so focused he didn’t notice you came up behind him. Knowing he might try to punch you if you startled him. You descide to pick him up by the waist strartling him “Hey you glitchin bot! Put me dow- Oh its you.” You put him down. He looked at you no longer startled.
”Sorry D didn’t want you to punch me if I didn’t pick you up.” You chuckled.
”You know you could’ve handled my punches right?”
”Yes but I would’ve had to punch you back.”
”…..Good point.” He pointed his digit to you.
”You mind if we talk?” D almost froze as his smile shows to have strained a bit as he looked at you. “It’s nothing bad.” You chuckled. “Come on lets go where we can see the Iacon 5000 sign.”
“O-ok.” You two walked and once up there you finally spoke.
”So D I’ve been thinking. We’ve been good friends for a good while and was hoping. Since after all this time-“ You continue to speak as his head only started to overthink.
Was so lost in thought of you possibly leaving him that he barely heard you. He then heard you say Conjunx out of the blurr of what you’re saying. But that word brought him out of his thoughts “What you say?”
”D-16 will you be my Conjunx?” You were on one knee. (Thought it be cute shud up) D was dumbfounded until he realized and his face no longer showed a blank expression but had a cute little grin appear on his face. He then shakes a little. Little sounds of metal being heard. You reached a cervo toawrds him once you stood, a bit worried “Uhhh D??”
Then out of no where he hugged you and started spinning, you around as he shouted in cheer and joy. You were now dumbfounded and put your cervos on his shoulders gently patting. “So…..that’s a yes?” He then holds you up with his hands holding your waist.
”YES!!!!” I have been waiting for so lo-“ He looked at you once he stopped. He can tell you were trying to hold in a laugh. “Uhh”
”Guess tonight will be a night to never forget.” You both chuckled and embrace each other. Both of your foreheads touching as you two closed your eyes.
D then lets out a soft sigh as he gently lowers you. You standing once more. Your arms around his neck and his around your waist. Your foreheads still touching as you two stared into each other’s eyes.
”I love you Y/N”
”I love you D. Mine. Always and Forever.”
You both leaned closer together and as your lips both finally touch. The sparks in your chests soon glow. Shinning around you as you two stay in the moment together with the sign of Iacon 5000 behind you both in the dark city.
———————————————————————————
(Last chance guys skip this part if you don’t wanna feel pain)
Megatron sat in his throne as he thought about that night. It is truly the night to remember. After everything. He lost his best friend, his home, and after realizing he has been lied to for all his life up to now. He just couldn’t lose you. The high guard was third to him. His new cause is his new goal but you. YOU are the one thing that truly belongs to him.
As he sat there, his head resting on his fist as he watched the high guards having a meeting. He listened, only glancing down to see you every so often as you rest your head and one of your cervos against his chassis.
Your optics closed as you sat on his lap. You had a cog and a decepticon logo on your chassis. His arm around behind your back and cervo resting on your thigh. Your other cervo that wasn’t on his chest resting on top of his on your thigh. You had a few dents. Proof from when he forced you to come with him when sneaking into the city and take you with him. After some time he had to discipline you to behave. Same thing when he forced you to stay still as the Decepticon logo was put on you. You are His Conjunx. You should really learn to trust him. He even threatened to hurt you more if you chose to break the bond from that very night. Ever since then you’ve been tired and miserable. You always felt his feelings through the bond. But you can still feel that love he has for you. Only it’s much darker now.
You listened to his spark beat as you two stayed silent. Starscream and Shockwave started to argue as Soundwave sat there with a data pad. You’d slowly open your optics. You had a little rust under your eyes. Not very visible if far enough.
You cried. You cry every night after Megatron goes to recharge. The meeting eventually ends and Megatron dismisses everyone. Once everyone was gone he looked down at you. Finally lifting his head so he’s more straight sitting up. Moving his cervo to now hold your chin. Making you look at him as his now red optics narrowed and stared down at you. “Hungry sweetspark?” His voice was darker and rough. It still makes you flinch when he speaks to you.
You didn’t answer. You only shook your head as your optics remained dim. He leaned his head lower a bit. His face only inches from yours. “Almost Obedient…hm…”
You two remain silent for a moment.
“Mine. Always and Forever.”
He closes the distance. His lips connecting with yours once more after so long. His lips now cold as he closed his optics. You closed yours a second after.
But you didn’t return the kiss. His cervo moving from your thigh to the back of your head. Pushing your head a bit closer. Your kiss is no longer the same. His kiss. Is no longer the same. Megatron wasn’t Your D-16.
So….. y’all like 😗? If you wish for a part two please let me know.

when yoongi calls to confirm the results of the blood test, reality hits all over again.
you’re pregnant.
his voice was gentle, with the same calm professionalism he uses with all his patients… but it couldn’t mask his genuine warmth as he told you the news. you want to believe he sounded excited but it was hard to tell. you settle for the telling warmth in his tone instead.
hearing it out loud brought a whole new set of feelings—joy, fear, and then something else: the unavoidable question of how you’d tell your friends.
having a clingy friendgroup is not for the weak.
but having a clingy adult friend group—the kind who carve out time for you amidst career chaos, endless emails, and hectic schedules—is something else entirely.
they’re the type who know what you’re thinking before you can even say it. the type who catch your tone shifting over text and who will show up unannounced if they don’t hear from you for a day. they mean well, but keeping things under wraps with them is practically impossible.
which is why telling them worries you.
you can’t hide it.
you know you can’t.
truth be told, you don’t want to. they’re your friends and you love them to death. this baby is worth every second of celebration.
the thought had barely settled before it started to plague you.
how exactly do you explain this to a group of people who work together? who run a whole practice together? a group who’ll want to plan out everything with you, to fuss over you like you’re a ticking time bomb, and who—above all—will probably have a shitload of questions you don’t have answers to.
they’re the people you’ve shared birthdays with, career changes, heartbreaks, and random tuesday nights. now you’re going to share this news, but there’s no manual on explaining an accidental pregnancy to your closest friends without it sounding like a rom-com gone wrong.
a part of you already know how they’ll react.
they’d be thrilled, supportive, maybe a little over-the-top.
and then confused.
yoongi?
as the father?
… what, when, where, and why?
not that he’s a bad guy or anything but simply because there were no (obvious) moments that led up to this…
regardless, it’s like you can almost hear jimin’s gasp, feel jin’s bear hug, and imagine hyemi tearing up before tackling you in her usual affectionate way.
they’ll want to be there for every step of this (probably more than you can handle) but that’s the beauty of having friends who genuinely make the time… friends who go out of their way to show up—not just when it’s convenient but because they want to. they’re the type who, as adults, choose each other over and over again despite life’s demands.
you all take pride in being involved in each other’s lives—big moments, small moments, and now…
this moment.
but exactly how much is there to be proud of when you explain how nasty you and yoongi were with each other?
how this mess could’ve been avoided if you didn’t beg for him to creampie you?
yeah…
that’s a tough one.
as you’re still trying to figure out how to break the news, your timer dings.
you pull the last tray of brown butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from the oven, the warm smell of melted chocolate filling the kitchen. you set the tray down with a sigh, hoping a night of stress-baking will take the edge off. but before you can even start on another batch, there’s a knock at your door.
before you can think to answer, hyemi is already pushing it open, holding an expensive wine bottle aloft like a trophy, her eyes alight with excitement.
“hyemi—”
“wine night!” she grins, crossing the room without hesitation, snagging a cookie from the cooling tray as she pushes the wine bottle toward you.
you catch the label and gasp. a prized chateau margaux. the kind of bottle she probably saved up for weeks (or borrowed namjoon’s credit card) to buy.
“you did not…” you say, eyes wide.
“oh, but i did,” she giggles, giving you a wink. “thank you, namjoon.”
you shake your head, a smile tugging at the corner of your mouth. “i knew it.”
“well?” she nudges the bottle toward you. “what are you waiting for? let’s open this and—”
you hesitate, trying to find the words. “i… i can’t tonight… or for the next few months.”
her smile falters. she clutches the bottle closer, looking genuinely wounded.
“w-wait, what? but—i fought namjoon for this, you know? and you’ve wanted this bottle for forever!”
“hyemi, i have to tell you something—”
“are you breaking up with me?” she jokes, only half-serious as she takes another bite of her cookie.
you roll your eyes and grab the cookie back from her hand, taking a bite yourself.
“it’s not you, it’s me.”
she laughs, swiping the cookie back with a shrug. “so what is it? and holy shit, these cookies are insane—”
“i can’t drink.”
“why? you’ve gone to work hungover before.”
you struggle to find the words, fingers tightening slightly around the bottle in your hands.
“no, it’s not that. it’s… different.”
hyemi’s brow furrows, her eyes narrowing as she peers at you, picking up on your hesitation. “what? don’t tell me you’re on some sober cleanse or something.”
“no… hyemi, i…”
“i mean if you are, i totally support you. i just think there’s too much good wine in this world and not enough time—”
“i’m pregnant.”
hyemi’s jaw drops, her eyes widening. her mouth opens and closes in shock, but before she can get a word out, there’s a loud crash behind you both.
you whip around to see the rest of the guys standing at the doorway.
jimin is frozen, a shattered wine bottle at his feet, red liquid pooling across the entryway as he stares at you in wide-eyed disbelief.
your eyes lock with yoongi’s, who stands in the middle of the group, his expression soft and steady as he takes you in. he tilts his head, just slightly, a quiet, unspoken reassurance passing between you two. you can feel your heart hammering, cheeks burning as you try to focus on anything other than his gaze.
the silence stretches for a beat too long before taehyung breaks it.
“mommy?”
this isn’t exactly how you pictured them reacting to the news.
as you sit on your couch, the atmosphere feels heavy. they’re in disbelief, and the only way they know how to process it is by falling into their medical roles.
nam joon and jin, being the doctors they are, sit close to you and begin a quick physical assessment and blood pressure test.
nam joon carefully rolls up your sleeve, a comforting smile on his face that softens the tension in the room.
“just relax your arm for me,” he hums, positioning the cuff around your upper arm. his fingers brush against your skin, and you can’t help but notice how professional he is, even amidst the whirlwind of emotions flooding the room.
“you’ve been feeling okay, right? any nausea or dizziness?” he asks, focusing intently on the task at hand.
“tired. sleepy. think i’m nauseous the most, though,” you admit. “i throw up… like every other day.”
he nods, squeezing the bulb to inflate the cuff. “that’s completely normal.” he pauses, glancing up at you. “are you okay? emotionally and mentally?”
you nod, glancing around the room. “i’m fine.”
your eyes meet yoongi’s.
he’s seated directly across from you, leaning forward, elbows on his knees, fingers interlaced. he’s watching you intently, with his usual cool indifference masking an intensity in his gaze. yoongi’s quiet presence anchors you, even though he says nothing.
should he say something?
what does he even say?
you don’t know.
he doesn’t know either.
as the cuff tightens around your arm, you take a deep breath, catching the supportive glances from everyone else nearby. their chatter fades into the background as nam joon’s focus brings you back to the moment.
“okay, let’s see what we have here,” nam joon murmurs, watching the gauge as the cuff slowly deflates. “hmmm. your pressure’s a little high but good overall. are you stressed?”
“a little right now,” you exhale. “guys, this is too much—“
“did you just do a home pregnancy test or go to the doctor?”
you freeze.
“oh shit,” taehyung calls from the doorway. he’s just been helping jimin and hobi clean up spilled wine. “screw the pregnancy test stuff—i wanna know who the babydaddy is.”
from the back, you hear jimin and hobi laugh as they finish picking up glass shards. taehyung raises a teasing brow.
“okay but seriously… didn’t know you wanted a baby that bad, ___. could’ve just asked jungkook to help you out.”
yoongi straightens, shooting taehyung a sharp look. “alright. we good here? you guys did a quick physical and checked her blood pressure—”
“your babydaddy is clean, right?” jimin chimes in, feigning seriousness. “___, i hope he’s worth the labor and delivery.”
“oh my god. shut up,” you say, rolling your eyes.
it’s then that you glance at hyemi, who sits on the other side of the couch with jungkook. the two of them are stress-eating your cookies, crumbs dotting the space between them.
hyemi, chocolate smeared at the corner of her mouth, raises a brow. “is this why you’ve been so sick?”
“yeah,” you nod. “i got the confirmation yesterday.”
“yesterday?” her eyes widen, and she sets down the cookie, scooting closer to you. “oh my god, ___. this is huge! congratulations!” she grabs your hands, her excitement lighting up her face. “we’re happy about this, right? you want this?”
before you can answer, she wraps her arms around you, pulling you into a tight hug. you let yourself sink into her warmth, feeling the tension unravel.
“yes, i want this. ahhh! don’t make me cry,” you whisper, fighting back tears as you pull back, smiling through it. “god, it’s the pregnancy hormones.”
“already?” she gives you a small, amused smile and wipes at her eyes, fixing your hair. “i’m just so happy for you, ___. you’re going to be the best mom. seriously.”
“as long as her blood pressure stays stable—”
hyemi swats at him. “nam joon, shut up, yeah?”
yoongi lets out a quiet chuckle, leaning back with his hands in his pockets as he watches everyone swarm around you. though he’s giving his usual cool exterior, there’s something in his eyes—a soft, almost possessive gleam that’s hard to miss.
from the corner, jungkook sneaks in, sliding a little closer to you.
“so,” he begins with a grin, “guess i’ll have to start calling you a milf now, huh?”
yoongi stiffens, jaw clenching almost imperceptibly, his eyes narrowing at jungkook. the tension isn’t lost on you as jungkook’s shoulder brushes against yours, and yoongi shifts in his seat, his gaze hardening in a way that feels oddly protective.
“so, seriously… who’s the babydaddy?” taehyung drawls from across the room, folding his arms with an amused smirk. “he’s clean, right? or should we head to the clinic and run a few tests? just to keep you and baby safe… big news and all, so we’re just trying to make sense of it.”
“god, you’re all insane.” you huff.
“maybe let ___ breathe,” yoongi mutters instantly. his gaze flicking between you and jungkook with a faintly annoyed look. “yah, she just confirmed she’s pregnant. that’s it.”
“that’s it,” you sigh repeating him. then, feeling a small wave of relief. “and honestly, why are the nurses in this room so immature? who can i report you guys to?”
jimin, taehyung, and jungkook laugh.
“our bosses,” they reply in unison, completely unbothered.
the warmth of their support fills the room.
as you soak in the moment, hyemi’s watchful eyes drift to yoongi.
he’s now casually seated beside you, close enough that his knee brushes against yours. every now and then, his hand lightly hovers by your arm or shoulder, his touch lingering just a little longer each time. hyemi tilts her head, something slowly clicking in her mind.
“wait a second,” she says, raising a brow. “yoongi… did you know about ___’s pregnancy before the rest of us?”
the room quiets, all eyes shifting to yoongi. before he can answer, jungkook—oblivious to the weight of the question—leans forward.
“oh shit… is that what her blood test was for at the clinic? i might’ve accidentally seen the paperwork but didn’t peek—thought she was low on iron or something.”
silence falls over the room, each of them piecing things together. one by one, their eyes dart between you and yoongi, confusion shifting to surprise until jin’s eyes widen with realization.
“…wait,” jin’s voice is soft but full of shock.
yoongi keeps his gaze steady on you.
his expression softening as he takes your hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. his thumb brushes over your knuckles, a small smile tugging at his lips. it’s subtle but full of meaning, and you feel warmth pool in your chest, despite the tension.
then taehyung breaks the silence, his eyes wide, mouth slightly open as he points at yoongi with dawning realization.
“...daddy?”

— notes: a continuation of this blurb. something a little darker than what i usually write. please be mindful that there's some heavy stuff ahead. if i forgot to tag anything, please let me know in the comments. thank you for reading!
— now playing: dusty room - evgeny grinko
An insistent dripping draws you from the inky embrace of unconsciousness.
It always does. It’s been your alarm clock for the past…three days? Four? Week? You’re not sure anymore. Time moves differently when you’re in captivity, and your mind is constantly invaded and warped.
At first, you could glean the passage of time by the moon or sunlight seeping through the small window in the corner—your captors had shoved you into a spacious room of rotting metal walls and only one entry point. It reeked of mildew and sweat, and you’d nothing but the creak of metal and that ceaseless dripping sound to keep you company.
But your senses are no longer reliable. They’ve poked around your mind so much that it’s becoming increasingly difficult to gauge the difference between reality and fiction.
Only a few things remain constant during your stay here: the henchman of the day comes in to administer you a dose of something potent with a syringe. Something to ease the ache of your limbs, to curb the hunger gnarling in your gut. But it’s also to keep your Evol tucked in the furthest reaches of your mind. To keep you at their mercy.
Next, two more men trickle in, sinisterly laughing as they deprive you of food and warmth and keep you lucid. And one of them constantly probes your mind, manipulating it to see and experience things that aren’t always real. Dredging up memories you had compartmentalized after taking up this new life, furthering your torment.
You would be impressed—their ability is almost on par with yours and would certainly make a man clad in red and black whistle with appreciation—if you weren’t already clinging to your sanity by a thread.
Your captors have been surprisingly generous, only hitting you a few times when you get mouthy. You’d once heard them say to each other they had to keep you alive long enough to lure your boss from the shadows. Still, you’re sometimes their human punching bag, suspended from the ceiling by chains rubbing your wrists and ankles raw.
They learned their lesson when they first brought you to this prison. When you’d called them pussies and, with what little strength you could muster, took three of them down before they subdued you with stun batons and a heavier dosage of whatever cocktail they’d been pumping you with.
Each time they enter, they ask you more questions. Interrogate you about Sylus and the inner workings of Onychinus. Splash you with frigid water to wake you, inject more serum, and sink their claws into your psyche when you display an inkling of resistance. All in an attempt to bring you to the brink of insanity. To break you.
You’re a little worse for wear. Bruised and battered. It hurts to breathe when the medicine wears off. You’re constantly shivering, constantly blacking out. You’re sure they’ve shattered a rib or two. And you haven’t much strength left, stripped of nourishment and proper blood circulation for God knows how long.
You have one good eye, the other swollen shut from their previous assault. Your lips keep splitting, so goddamn dry. They could’ve done much worse. Could’ve violated you in unspeakable ways. So you’re grateful the illusions are seemingly their most potent form of torture.
No matter how many levels of hell your captors subject you to, you don’t cave. You’re still as haughty as ever. Piss them off whenever you can, fighting back with your tongue in a way that your body can’t. Anything to distract you from the unyielding torment and pain. From your thoughts creeping in, from your mortality looming over your shoulders.
“He won’t come for me,” you bitterly laugh each time your captors taunt you. “He doesn’t care about me. You’ve got the wrong person.” To which they heckle like hyenas, looking at you as if you’ve said the most absurd thing.
They tell you you are the right person. That it’s only a matter of time before your ‘boyfriend’ comes sniffing you out. You’re more valuable than any treasure, any amount of money. But you always push those words to the back burner. Those empty attempts to give you a flicker of hope.
He’s subjected you to danger numerous times before. Thrown you to the wolves on several occasions. What makes this time any different?
One thought reigns supreme in your mind each time they torture you. Each time they fill your head with trickery, visions of him, and memories of past misdeeds.
If he wanted to save you, he would’ve already come.
The truth hurts, but it’s somehow comforting. Sylus will never find you like this. Never see how far you’ve fallen from grace, breaking apart at the seams, slowly succumbing to the cold and delirium. He’s got more important things to worry about—more important people to occupy his mind.
You’re disposable. You’ve known this from the start.
The notion only rooted itself deeper the moment a certain Hunter disturbed the monotony of your lives.
It was merely a matter of time before one of Onychinus’ most revered assassins was wiped out.
In a way, your captors are doing Sylus a favor, ridding him of your presence so he doesn’t have to lift a finger to do it himself. You’ve always worried he would no longer find a use for you. Knew you couldn’t always be at his side. And now that he has someone else to play his bait, to bat their lashes at him and tug at those little heartstrings, you know you don’t stand a chance.
Savagely, you laugh, your face turned up at the silvery moonbeams sinking in through the window. And it hurts, your throat dry like it’s been rubbed with sandpaper. Unbidden tears scorch down the sides of your face. Whether they’re heralded in from agony or hysteria, you don’t know.
Your solitude in this room is as much of a reprieve as it is a cage. Sure, you’re free to collect what little coherent thoughts you have left before your captors are back at it, shocking you to hell and tearing your mind at the seams. But you’re also left with nothing to do but stew in thoughts of your inevitable demise.
Maybe this is your punishment. All the lives you’ve taken. All the innocents you displaced when you were a fiery-eyed killer fueled by rage and fear. Murdering coldly, killing because you were told—forced—to.
No matter how far you ran, the past always snuck up on you. But shielded beneath Sylus’ wings, you were able to delay its descent onto your shoulders.
Sylus had taken you away from it all. Redirected your ire, your revenge, onto the scourge of humanity. No longer were you a gun for hire, taking out high-profile figures because your very life depended on it. No. Instead, you wiped the most vile men from the face of the planet. Pedophiles, rapists, murderers. And you supposed that served as enough repentance for your life before.
Still, no amount of justification will support what you’ve done. What you continue to do. And all for the love of a man who will never see you as more than a rook. A chess piece, lazily dragging across the board for use at his disposal.
The single door to your prison groans open, dispelling the nebula of your thoughts as a blinding stream of light pours in. You wince against its brilliance, your bruised lips canting up in a sardonic smile.
Once the new presence clears the entryway, a shock of white greets you. And it’s followed by a wash of scarlet, moving through the bleariness. You huff a painful laugh as the figure nears you, agony swelling in your chest. This trick again. Weren’t they getting bored of using it?
Finding your voice, you grit out, “You’ve tried this one already. It’s getting old. Gonna have to do better than that.”
But your tormenter doesn’t err in their steps. Instead, they hasten their approach until the warmth they carry wades over your skin. And through the dank scent of your entrapment, you make out familiar notes of amber and sandalwood. As convincing as the illusions have been lately, they’ve never smelled this vivid before.
Searing hands curve around your cheeks. Angle your head back until your vision fills with red. Red eyes nestled beneath brows knotted with anguish. Pink lips parted with the effort of breathing. As you fully take in your tormenter’s harrowed features, you slowly realize that maybe you’re not hallucinating this time. And a thick film of tears washes over your good eye, the world blurring and bending.
“You’re getting better at this,” you sob-slash-laugh, still disbelieving. There’s no way he could be the real thing. There’s just—
—no way. Could he? Could it…
Suddenly, the metal chains of your shackles rattle and loosen. And you’re freefalling, loose-limbed and weightless, heading for the ground along with your restraints. But a pair of virile arms spread like wings beneath you, cradling you against a rigid chest, and a ferocious heart beats a war cadence beneath your cheek as you press further into it.
Weakened by your time in captivity, you feel something prodding around inside your head. Something warm and feather-light creeps through the folds of your mind, chasing away the darkness. It’s a voice—an inherently masculine voice reverberating in your head, working like a soothing balm over your psyche.
I’ve got you, it soothes, dulling the ache in your bones, the maelstrom in your head. And its familiarity is enough to bring a smile to your lips. More tears pour in rivulets down your cheeks, and you cling to the silk of his shirt, unconsciousness pulling you under. He came for you. He really—he actually—
—came.
And as you succumb to fatigue, hypothermia, and hunger, two sentences pierce through the darkness like a lighthouse beaconing through the storm.
“I’ll kill them. I’ll kill them all.”
