He blinked slightly at the ease the portal seemed to open with, a small smile on Arlo’s face as he saw the familiar site on the other side.
Arlo: Now, focus on closing it, not just the regular closing it, but almost like your melding it shut.
Flynn lifted an eyebrow, but he did what he was told. The drain on his magic was completely different, and much rougher than what he had felt before, Arlo nodding at him as they noticed their look.
Arlo: Good, now it's closed. If you open it here, closing will be easier, you can will the portal to open here, from anywhere.
Flynn: How?
Arlo: Focus on this shrine when you open the portal, the veil is thin here, so you will automatically get pulled to this spot.
Flynn: Ok, thanks.
Arlo just shrugged his shoulder, and headed back to his room, leaving them all standing there to say their goodbyes for now
Vy: We’ll check in soon, my little star.
Fan: I’d like that.
They watched their family leave again, and at least for a little while, their loneliness seemed a little less than before.

Dc x Dp Prompt #6
“I’m a twin”, Damian said one night. He could feel the narrowed eyes of his family drilling holes on his back in disbelief. Not that he could blame them. Damian had never so much as implied being raised with a companion, much less a sibling.
“I had a brother”. Damian paused to recollect himself. He had not said his brother’s name out loud in over 8 years.
“His name was… Danyal”. Damian hated the way his voice wavered, but he could not help it. Danyal was everything to him, his other half. Their heart beat as one and when one heart stopped beating, the other one died with it. At least until his family put his heart on metaphorical life support without ever realizing.
“Where is he now?” His father asked, voice filled with knowing grief and a hint of betrayal. It had in fact been 6 years since Damian first showed up on his doorstep.
“Up there”. All eyes shifted towards the specific star he was pointing to. “Right before he died, he promised me he’d guide me from the stars. Unfortunately, the stars are not visible in Gotham, so my brother is unable to be of much help unless I leave the city.”
“Your brother is Polaris, the North Star?” Tim questioned warily, most likely in attempts to not offend him. Damian was aware of how stupid it sounded, but Danyal had promised, and his brother never broke his promises.
“Yes. Danyal is with the stars now, just as he always wanted”

I love how Japan has thousands of handy inventions for storage space, cleaning and house appliances for small apartments, and you can get them easily even from 100 yen shops.
In Finland, living in a small house is expected only from students as a temporary housing situation. Then, you are to find a spouse and move in together with them (the earlier the better). If you break up, you are to find another spouse and live together with them. You are also expected to buy a house as soon as possible. All storage systems are meant for family size houses with family income prices.
Because small housing is expected to be only temporary, I enviously watch all videos of storage tips from East-Asia, and try to replicate them the best way I can for my 25m²/269ft² apartment with what I can find here.

NO EVERYONE WAIT
I am replaying totk, so I’m redoing the Regional Phenomenon quest. Let me just gush about how
Zelda is repeatedly called Riju’s close friend
Riju writes about how she has faith in Zelda and Link
She prays to Urbosa to watch over the Gerudo, Zelda, and Link
She does what she thinks Zelda would advise her to do
Of all the sages, Riju is the one Zelda and Link probably visited the most often because she is the only one who doesn’t comment on how long it’s been
(Buliara says ‘it’s been some time’ but this is also considering Zelda and Link went missing and it is canonically the region you’re guided towards last)
Riju is familiar enough with Zelda to not refer to her as ‘Princess Zelda’ but just as Zelda.
Zelda once inspired Riju when she spoke of her frustrations with their fighting style— she gave very blunt and vague instructions and then left Riju to figure it out
(Basically reminiscent of how Link shoved Daruk into the divine beast and basically said ‘you figure it out’ … why are they like this lol)
They are such dear friends that Riju immediately tells Link (essentially) ‘I will help you find her, by bringing a quick resolution to the sand shroud and monsters plaguing Gerudo’.
She is the only Sage who actively goes “oh I’m helping you, give me like a few to get my shit together and then we will find Zelda”. The rest go “ah I wish I could but I actually can’t rn :/”
I love Tulin bc that is my son, I raised him and am so proud of him… but Riju calling out to Zelda and canonically being close to her just makes me so emotional because Zelda found a friend and mentor in Urbosa and now Riju did the same with Zelda.
That is so damn significant.

can i ask what village/city you're originally from in Palestine? i gathered from your blog that you're currently residing in the US but out if curiosity where were you originally from? ofc you don't have to answer if this is too personal
i'm from nablus (and jerusalem)! my dad is from nablus and my mom is from jerusalem, but i have a west bank id so i've only visited jerusalem once with a rare permission from israel, but i was very young and didn't stay for long, so i unfortunately don't have a strong connection with jerusalem as much as i'd like to. i just say i'm from nablus, since that is where a lot of my family is from and usually where i stay for the most part whenever i'm there.

Hi so i only recently got into hamilton and really liked lmm in it but ive been seeing a lot of pjo fans talking about not wanting him as hermes and you are a lmm expert so i wondered if you knew why people are hating on him for being casted in pjo?
first of all, i am actually flattered that you called me an expert (i am literally not but i do know a lot, i observe, i go through lmm tag every day, i get mad when i see people talk shit about him, basically i'm super loud about my love for this guy so there's that some call it dedication, i call it obsession lol).
there are a lot of reasons actually but all of them are just so silly to me. for example, some people say he is a bad actor (if hamilton is not enough for you, please go watch his dark materials, he is excellent and i will fight). others say he can't sing (he can, he may not have the most incredible vocals ever, not like most broadway stars and i know a lot of people compare him with the best singers out there, but it doesn't mean he can't sing, also, he is much better now than he used to be years ago, for example i'd recommend listening to vivo soundtrack, especially keep the beat or one more song, i mean EXCUSE ME BUT MY MAN CAN SING). another reason: some people say he is annoying because he puts raps everywhere. ok, and? he is a great rapper, i'll say more: he is also a freestyle rapper, very talented indeed (i recommend checking literally any freestyle love supreme video on youtube or you can just go through my fls tag here. making up rhymes on the spot? pretty insane if you ask me). there is also a group of people who think he is cringe, his rhymes are cringe, some of his songs are not good, etc etc (i bet those people can write better songs). i think he is one of the greatest composers of our generation and i will, of course, fight (haters, please shut the fuck up about the scuttlebutt, this song was supposed to be annoying, you just don't get it apparently? same with my own drum actually. can we just stop pretending that he is talentless because of those songs you guys literally have no taste and you hate fun and also shut tf up). oh, and also, people these days very often say he is everywhere and it's annoying (this is literally his job but whatever). and my all-time favourite: some people are mad that he was playing hamilton because they think he didn't deserve it (he literally wrote the whole thing but ok). one more thing: i have never read pjo, i literally just started reading it only because of lin, so i know nothing about hermes, but personally i really hope he will sing/rap, just because i want to see them all suffer.
there were also other controversial stuff (with in the heights, hamilton and puerto rico) but we are not going to discuss it on my blog, sorry (mostly because i have my own opinion about it and i know i will get a lot of hate for speaking my mind). one thing i can say is that nobody's perfect, we all make mistakes sometimes and i will always fight for him, no matter what.
