i've said it before but i really want to see the lore from torchbearer's perspective as well. we've followed the storyline mostly from tyler/clancy's pov so far and we're very familiar with his vulnerable moments and insecurities. from his perspective it's almost as if tb is this unwavering guiding light who perfectly knows what he's doing all the time, helping him and working in mysterious ways - which, again, reinforces the godlike image tyclancy seems to project onto him. unless tb is ACTUALLY a supernatural being, which i don't think he is, he has to have his own doubts/vulnerabilities/insecurities etc just like clancy. i kinda want to see past the near-divine frame clancy (an unreliable narrator i'd say) encased him in and get to know his side of the story.

Reasons why Soul and Maka make bad platonic soulmates by design and I prefer seeing them to also be romantic soulmates (mostly involving wasted narrative parallels and how they can actually stand as a couple goals example)

1.) They already live together like a married couple and it's endearing to see one of their arc involves them navigating a difference in their interests that might prevent them to be as close as they want to be: how Maka can't get into music even if she desperately wants to yet Soul sees her as his muse for his music anyway. Very couple goals in a sense that you don't really have to be 100% clicking to be soulmates and there's still a way to bridge the gap regardless. No worries.

2.) Their fighting style is compared to ballroom dancing and they are known to dance in each other's psyche. That's too romantic to pass up.

3.) They got that complimentary opposites attract dynamic that will always help them evolve into better versions of themselves as time goes.

4.) It'd be a waste to pass up that parallel that Soul is meant to be the anti-Spirit in Maka's life and we are supposed to see what if Maka's mother finally finds the right man (someone whom being loyal to one person comes naturally) and Maka is just a better person than her mother by learning not to abandon her connections early.

5.) Spirit likely sees himself in Soul in some ways (and they have similar names!) and they'd make the funniest and cute in-laws

6.) The beauty of seeing someone who has an avoidant attachment style and someone with an anxious attachment style learning to develop a secure attachment style after so many trials and errors. Their journey from being a somewhat unstable couple due to these attachment styles to a more stable one is such couple goals especially with the added bonus that these two already live together since they were preteens.

7.) They've been shown to take domestic chores equally.

8.) They smoosh souls on the regular. Too sexy to pass up.

9.) They've got red-green color scheme

10.) Maka looks and associated with angels and Soul looks and associated with demons. Yet, Maka is the headstrong rule-breaker and Soul is the collected stickler.

11.) Their relationship is way too deep and rooted in how they both get each other so well and that I'll feel sorry to anyone else who will have a relationship with them.

ok but im rly into the idea of till having a new era that brings the light back to his eyes and drives him forward if he gets to escape the arena. idk where he'd go from there but i want to see ivans sacrifice both haunt him and drive him to actually live his damn life after being the captured bird refusing freedom cause of mizi. once he knows she's alive with the resistance he might be able to actually experience other things and widen his world and if that happens and he puts his personal sense of rebellion towards the human cause OR settles into finding some other way to feel fulfilment that isn't a single person that could be deeply fascinating to me i think

i know astrology is fake but i'm not too keen on how a lot of people on this website seem to be clowning on it as a hobby a bit too hard. i swear the woman who thinks it's neat how she and her friends with the same sun sign are all similar isn't trying to say that you are who you are born as and there is nothing you can do to change it. it's a hobby. an interest. what happened to finding meaning and joy in the small things. does it affect you if someone enjoys tarot reading or crystals. does it make you upset someone has interests that they enjoy.

I think it’s both funny & sweet that ruikasa are both legitimately addicted to that show grind. I loooove the jp fandom's headcanon that geeta and larry are childhood friends who met during their time in the academy and, sometime in the future, geeta personally recruited larry to work for the paldean pokemon league, as she must be one of the first people who knew of his prowess in pokemon battling! Like yeah, the whole geeta being a "strict boss who is frustrated by larry's stubborn insistence to be an average worker that she has to assign him different workloads just to broaden his horizon" idea is intriguing, but stepping it up a notch by making geeta be the "best friend a.k.a the only one who has seen larry at his very best and his very worst, and knows for a fact that he could excel at anything he put his mind into if he steps out of his comfort zone, so she doesn't particularly drag him out of said zone, but pushes him out of it each time she can because she can't bear to see her best friend be unaware of the good chances and positive things that awaits him out there, not if she has a (small) say in it" is also downright hilarious 😭🤚
