which he realizes that oops maybe he got too serious and overwhelming

but you reassured him that you're just so glad to have him as your partner and best friend in one :(

Day 8 - Favorite Episode

uuuuhgh picking a favorite episode is so hard but I think I can pick one favorite episode from each season & why I like em. Season 1: 1x06 Through the Ice. I just love this episode with Callum and Ezran, brothers <3333 Season 2:

2x07 Fire and Fury. Pyrrah, literally gasped when Soren cut her horn. Soren & Corvus interaction, very silly. Callum doing dark magic <3 it all goes downhill from here and Aaravos voice reveal!! Season 3: 3x09 The Final Battle. Flawless episode. A battle with humans, dragons, and elves? Marvelous. Rayllum? Awesome. Janai and Amaya? Fuck yeah. The cliffhanger that the season leaves on with Claudia and Viren? You have no clue. Season 4:

4x07 Beneath the Surface. Moon opal, light and darkness. Soren in his pink pajamas. Rayla grabbing Callum's nose and letting his guard down briefly before she gets him. Season 5: 5x02 Old Wounds. Rayla not being a morning person is so cute. She's like me fr fr. Viren's weird limbo dream was something but seeing baby Soren was cute. Ezran being Stressed™️, Soren & Corvus trying to ease that stress. The one bed trope. The whole inn thing. Stargazing. Fighting together? A fanfic got greenlit for this episode. Season 6: 6x05 Moonless Night. Rayla's lullaby that she sings is the primary reason why I love this episode as well as it's build up to Moment of Truth (6x06). The hug where she squeaks?! ADORABLE!! Her hesitation to touch the crown and Callum's hand gently guiding it to the crown. ahjkfhekujthwekurthjkgfvb— Viren & Soren.... ugh Viren & Soren!! The growth from Soren, Viren trying to get Soren to listen; a mirror of S3. I love this episode.

i was just thinking about how doyoung kind of remains mysterious in his rituals, like i for once never seem to fully understand what tf is going on inside in his mind maybe i just didn't put enough effort in understanding his microexpressions, still ive been thinking about him winding down for the day lately and every trivial aspect of him like getting out of bath and using body oil or something, bonus points if it gets anomalous teehee because unlike some allegations of him being greasy i think he takes his hygiene very seriously!! atleast whenever he could. sooooo could you pleaaseee maybe sometime write about him just indulging himself in his unwind routine and getting ready for his next day, it's just very important for my mental health i think...yeahh and it doesn't matter which part of timeline it's set in, possibly somewhere in ep 6? im not being serious here, i never was.

doyoung is totally mysterious! i think it is absolutely intended by the show to make us, the viewers, not privy to the interworkings of his mind. this makes it easier for us to sympathize with dongsoo (to a point..) and it makes it easier for us as viewers to write doyoung off as a psycho criminal killer and NOT understand him as an inexperienced lovesick fool. i think this is totally intentional so i don't think you Missed anything by not scrubbing every scene <3

re: hygeine. HMMMM... so i am more of a greasetruther. at least up until the silver jacket gets replaced with suits and such. but all of that, the fashion upgrade for dy and his men, i see as a direct result of ds' desires. pre-suited dy and gang, his hair is noticeably like. greasy. it just is. i think if he cared about hygiene/appearance on his own, he'd keep his hair shorter and maybe own more than one pair of pants.

BUT! in ep6, he does change to become Cleaner. so your timing here would be correct. like i said i think this is only because of dongsoo. he realizes just how important status/respect/appearance* is to dongsoo, and decides to make himself more desirable by slicking his hair back and dressing like an adult. but i unfortunately do not think he would ever make this decision if not for dongsoo's high standards.

if i do this i think i can make it ep6, a little pre-funeral prep sesh. here are my problems: this would be totally doyoung centric, doyoung pov doyoung brained solo doyoung alone in his big borrowed house. this is AWESOME in theory, but i THRIVE with dialogue, back and forths and quips and spoken lies and stuff. i do not feel like i have a strong, detailed voice for bathtime relaxation. but also ep6 is a rocky dyds episode, ds is supposedly leaving for good and never coming back, dy knows his (ds') mom is going to be executed, dy has already said his would-be final goodbyes... this is tough.

and this: "im not being serious here, i never was." i think (and i could be wrong, i don't quite know, this is only my best guess) that you're trying to say something like "haha jk... unless?" but i am not entirely sure. but i take everything (EVERYTHING) very very very seriously even in our extremely fast paced irony-poisoned world. my friends call me "serious" all the time. there is no need to be anything but serious w/ me! otherwise i actually get pretty confused (which may be evident rn) but plzzz never feel any kind of shame or embarrassment for any kind of ask to me! FR!

i take this show and my contributions to it like, deathly seriously. that is the only reason i cannot 100% guarantee u that i can pull this off. i have started a doc and jotted down my initial notes/thoughts, so it is there! but this will not be my main focus rn. the longer i think on things the more ideas i get, so this request might just take me some time to mull over/break down/work out. and maybe it'll turn out like super radical gnarly awesome cool. this is something that we will find out together!

literally just binged reading this masterpiece of a rewrite and im lowkey strangling myself for not finding it sooner!! has anyone ever told you that you are heaven sent for all steve lovers and people who wanted more fleshed out relationships from these traumatized teenagers (and adults)?

there's literally a lot to say about the series but my brain capacity goes zorp! which is why i'm just gonna exclaim a bunch of it.

first of all, BUG. DEAREST BUG U ARE THE SWEETEST ANGEL TO EVER ANGEL UPON THIS WORLD. i've said it before, little bug needs to AT LEAST have a year-long break from everything but i know s4 will BREAK her. ouhhhhh and the slowburn with steve? and finally them kissing and jlfnwkfjwodjs THEY DESERVE THE WORLD IDC IDC plus the sibling dynamic w dustin *slams fist on the wall* kinda envy it honestly because apparently we're more of a max and billy trope. SPEAKING OF BILLY. *sobbing crying throwing up* you can never make me fully hate him. yes, he's an ass but the way you portrayed his death at the end of season 3? i had to put my phone down and take a walk. OH AND HOPPER PLEASE... it's like joyce and hopper were second parents to bug and my heart aches for the three.

every single one of these goobers deserve so much but we all know everything's still downhill from this point onwards. i'm excited to go on this next journey with you for s4 (and maybe s5 too when it comes out!!)

I recently watched the film "A Liar's Autobiography" (2012) recently, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND IT'S THE GREATEST ANIMATED TRIBUTE TO GRAHAM CHAPMAN IMHO AHHHHH!!!

Here's my thoughts on this film and why I absolutely love it!

(Spoilers btw, you should definitely watch ALA it's great!!)

-all the animations were peak, I especially love the animations about Graham's childhood, the Monkey Pythons and the animation where it dealt with Gray's alcoholism and him going cold turkey was very brilliantly done fr!!

-Graham's narration and voice is REALLY immersive and cool and lovely, it's like he's genuinely talking to you in a way!

-i love the scenes with him and David, such wholesome portrayal of their love and relationship with each other like it so 🥰🥰 <3333 (honestly, shout-out to the actor Philip Bulcock, he did wonderfully as David Sherlock!!)

-i like the songs, especially the "Sit On My Face" song rendition!!

-i like the animation where Graham was Colin "Bomber" Harris is which he metaphorically beat himself up to defeat the alcoholism!!

-i like the payoff of the "Oscar Wilde" thing at the end from the beginning, it rounded out things nicely and it was really wholesome seeing John cheering up and patted Gray on the back as buddies, it was a nice moment <333. Also, apparently Stephen Fry voiced the God-esque version of Oscar Wilde, which imo IS REALLY COOL FR!!

-i cried internally (my body couldn't produce the tears physically fsr, but on the inside it was sobbing like HELL) when they showed the Graham Chapman funeral/memorial service video of John's speech at the end and like GAHHH IT WAS SAD AND HEARTBREAKING 😭💔

-i LOVED the "Medical Love Song" scene at the end, it was ABSOLUTELY GREAT!! Plus the second rendition of the "Sit on My Face" scene, pretty awesome!!

-Cameron Diaz as Sigmund Freud was really hilarious 🤣

-i like how the film portrayed Gray's struggle with alcoholism (especially the absolutely beautiful oil painting-esque animation which is from Gray's POV), and like my fellow moot @michael-palin-is-the-loml said, it was done very tastefully in a way that Graham would've appreciated himself!

-i like the scenes with Gray and his parents, they were quite nice!

-i love the simple line of "fuck off Ginger!", like I do relate to that moment very much fr 🤣😭

-Everyone voice acted SUPERBLY in this film, hat's off to them!!

-i loved the "Sex Test" scene in the film, like as a bisexual myself, it's probably (imo at least!) a VERY accurate and superbly funny representation of the "sexuality is a spectrum" thing 👏👏

-Oh yeah I also love the scene in ALA where Graham saw the love of his life David appearing out from the sea in the pose of "The Birth of Venus" painting, which makes sense imo since Gray would think of David as his (gay) God(dess) <333

Here's my final verdict/thoughts on the film:

This film deserves ALLL THE LOVE, and I don't think it's as bad as some people said it was! This was truly made with a labour of love 🫶💞 from both the team AND the Pythons! (Apart from Eric ofc lol) and it really shows that this is NOT only a love letter to Python, BUT TO GRAHAM "GRAY BAE" CHAPMAN HIMSELF!!

This movie is a glorious 10/10 from me, and it's my favourite film in the world! (Tied with HFC ofc!)

AAAAA IM SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT NJSDNIJSXN OK OK BUT IF YOU WANT ANGST YOU GOTTA KNOW HOW HALF DEAFNESS WORKS. I don’t mind explaining this shit so dw I’m giggling as I write this.

I will say as a like, heads up I was born deaf in one ear Sabo lost it later on so I’m not 100 right but shut up self projection whoop whoop. I can to what I want. You can at least be half right with this information.

So unlike regular deafness it’s important to note Sabo still has one perfectly working ear. An ear that works overtime.

You need two ears to be able to figure out where noises come from cause it will be slightly louder and softer in each ear ect (idk man). Sabo doesn’t have that hence why my thought of needing Koala to be a quick guide for him. Without her help, he’s just gotta look around till he figures out what made the noise. Obviously he doesn’t have to worry too much about sneak attacks n shit cause of Haki but like. A enemy transponder snail calling and Koala is gone? He’s spinning in a circle and moving his head around till the noise gets louder and he can figure out WHERE THE FUCK IT IS.

This plus a pinch of paranoia and left on his own? Delectable. Hearing noises like distant gunshots, explosions, footsteps but can’t sense anyone and can’t figure out where they are or even where to go to help? Horrifying. ESPECIALLY A YOUNGER SABO NEW TO THIS DISABILITY.

Also in social settings this can be super tiring as in loud spaces all that noise is going into one ear and can make hearing one person trying to talk to you directly nearly impossible and rather overwhelming, that’s why I find the Luffy being loud enough to hear in a crowd delightful. There’s no strain cause Luffy is just that loud. But like. Ya know, War zones are pretty loud. And when you’re reaching your stress and social battery limit and you suddenly can’t seem to hear your best friend over the sound of canonballs? I’d be pretty damn close to tears too Sabo.

Also for a short while kid Sabo was probably easily snuck up on at least till he adjusted cause he can’t tell what side people are coming from. And when you get jumpscared cause you didn’t hear someone multiple times in an hour? It makes you feel like ASS

OH!!! Another juicy thing you could use is stripping him of his sight (as in a blindfold or a dark room) and forcing him to rely on his poor hearing to navigate. He can’t hear what’s going on and when you’re stripped of your senses it’s very easy to panic since your body can’t readjust itself.

Dude there is SO MUCH ANGST TO PLAY WITH.

Anyways as a little fluff palette cleanser: The revs obviously learned to adjust to their chief of staff’s disability and Sabo’s personal transponder snail wiggles when it’s ringing so he can know it’s his snail ringing not someone else’s. Any snail given to Sabo must be trained for this.

Can I just say that you're like my favourite JJK fic writer :') Like your mind is simply awesome— the dialogues you write and the original ideas you come up with are always sooo impressive and THE FEELS!!! The emotions I get to feel from reading your fics is crazy 😭 Especially in the older brother Sukuna one!! I actually discovered your blog thanks to that fic, lucky me :D I love it soooo much!! I re-read it recently and it managed to make me cry again over the sheer amount of pure love and healthy relationship dynamics overflowing from it qwq Like some of the chapters felt like being in therapy fr 😭 the way I had to just pause and BREATHE sometimes coz of how emotional I felt asdfghjkl

The way you touched some heavy topics in the fic too, some of which were very relatable as well, and wrote them sooo beautifully, it all felt so so comforting to me- like I'm not rlly alone in experiencing all these deep feelings, which was just super healing and I just wanna say thank you for existing and pouring your heart out into making such a beautiful piece of work and sharing it with us 🫶 it's so so lovely! Also, I absolutely love it when authors write emotionally intelligent characters and I never imagined ever crushing on and kicking feet over Sukuna of all characters but YOUR Sukuna just made that come true xD 🩷

And I used to be a Geto simp initially but your Satoru Gojo as Taylor series singlehandedly made me fall for him so deep like I've been obsessed for months now 😭 I love all the fics of it so much, I highkey believe I've memorized the scenarios in half of them from how much I re-read them lolol and they still manage to evoke so many different emotions in me each and every time! You're simply an amazing author 👑 To add, I actually have never watched AOT or know anything about it but your content is so addicting that I feel compelled to read those fics of yours regardless 😭 just because I can already guess how good they'd be as well uwu

Like I've read so many fanfics over the years but yours are some of the most wonderful pieces that I've come across and they've become very close to my heart too :') especially bcoz they got me through some very dark times this year by being my wholesome and positive escape hehe 🤍 and I'm so grateful and so glad that you poured the time, energy, effort and TALENT to write all of them, and still dedicatedly put out chapters so frequently on your blog, which always makes me so happy and excited to see btw!!! i put this under the cut because i basically have every intention to responding to every part of what you say!

first and foremost - thank you for lurking on my blog, even to the point where you read the asks that other people send me. sometimes (and for a good amount of time actually) i wanted to answer asks so bad but wouldn't because i was scared i was annoying my followers by answering them all the time or telling people random stuff about myself just because i thought they were just following me for the writing.

tldr. needless to say, that it makes my entire world that you read my asks - about interactions and a lot of the stuff that i've been talking about lately - and that you sent me this ask, because it's filled me with so so much joy and motivation to get back into writing

oh best friends older brother sukuna. god, i can't even talk about what that fic means to me in so many ways, and the fact that it's resonated with so many people has actually healed so many things in me. like i'm not even joking, i've literally talked about that fic and read asks/comments to my therapist to like prove to her that this was like something real and that i put it out all there.

even from a writing standpoint, i feel like in the past i resorted to most of the cliche miscommunication stuff because it was hard to come up with stuff that moved the plot forward. but it was really interesting to write that and make most of the stuff external - and it really made me think about characters/emotions/what motivates people most of the time. yes, miscommunication is a big thing in relationships and not being able to talk to one another effectively will put a damper on things - but other things can to. and damn it sometimes it's nice to just love each other the way you should and handle it with care (which was basically the entire point of that fic anyways)

oh god, it makes my entire world that you called my characters emotionally intelligent. honestly, those topics were never like supposed to be part of the story - and most of the stories i write aren't planned out. i start writing and something came out of me. i was very hesitant to post those chapters, but in the end just chose to honor the fact that they're complex topics, they're nuanced, what i'm saying isn't wrong but it isn't applicable to everyone and that's okay. and even the fact that people find it relatable is validating for me, because almost everything in that fic is derived from a personal experience of mine.

oh gojo as taylor. to be honest, i thought it kind of fell off for a while but GOD everyone loves to see it and it makes my entire world. the first fic that i wrote on this account, almost a year and a half ago now, was literally a gojo as taylor before a gojo as taylor. it's a good omen.

GOSH, i'm so glad you're here and that you've read the things that i've written. you've given me such such kind words about them - most that i feel like i don't deserve - but that mean the world to me nonetheless.

also i've said it before and i've said it again. people like you who take the time to leave asks, or comment on all the details in the chapters, or just leave feedback or say that they enjoyed something means the world. most fanfic writers do this for free. i usually come home from a busy day or studying for midterms or just being frustrated and use this as a way to let loose. and really, as a reader, you could just read it and move past it without any penance to me. readers who take the time to comment, interact, and kind of create this space to me is kind of what fanfic is all about - I feel like I have my own little town of friends who all get and understand what i'm talkng about, and the fact that people want to entertain that and be here with me means the world.

You and a bunch of others were having a party for Halloween. As much as you loved party’s with your friends, your social battery was at 1% right now and you didn’t feel like being around anyone.

As more and more people came into the small apartment, you started to feel squished. And you couldn’t exactly breathe either.

Wait.

You couldn’t breathe.

The more you thought about it, the more you became aware of it. You started clawing at your chest, gripping your shirt, trying to get air through your lungs. The room started to spin and you leaned against the wall and slid down, trying your hardest not to cry.

But , from across the room, Niki saw you on the ground, head to your knees, and breathing very heavily. She knew what was happening so she quickly excused herself from the person she was talking to and rushed over to you.

Niki placed her hand on your back to let you know she was there, and started rubbing your back gently. “Love, how about we go outside? How do you feel about that? Just to get some air?” Niki asked you as you looked up at her with glossy eyes. You nodded quickly, not being able to say something from the lack of air.

Niki gave you a hand and helped you up from the ground. She led you out the apartment and down the stairs that led you guys outside.

“Ok. Now just follow my breathing, ok? In and out.” Niki tells you as she motions for you to breathe with her.

You tried your best to breathe in time with her and slow your breathing. Eventually, your breathing slowed down enough for you to breathe in fully and let out a shaky sigh.

“Thank you, bubs. So much.” You whispered to her as you grabbed her hands and kissed them.

“It’s no problem! I’ll always help you babes. I promise.” Niki said back to you as she pulled you to sit on the step that led into the apartment complex.

“Wanna tell me what happened?” Niki asked you. “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.” She reassured you.

You shook your head. “No it’s fine. It just got really crowded and i was just so overwhelmed, I kinda forgot how to breathe.” You smiled at Niki, as she giggled.

You felt bad for having her miss the party because of you. It was fun! I mean at least from what you saw it was. But you just get so overwhelmed and nervous around a lot of people, you couldn’t really help it. But you still felt guilty. “I’m sorry. You’re out here missing the party because of me. You should go back and have fun.” You said as you looked at your hands and played with your fingers.

Niki furrowed her eyebrows. Why would you think she’d want to leave you? She wouldn’t leave you in a million years. And especially not like this. “No! I’m not leaving. We are going to sit here and you’re going to enjoy my company ok?” She said, in a playful demanding voice.

You laughed. “Ok! Ok. Fine, but only if we can talk about books and music. I have some more suggestions for you if you need some.” You looked at her with a questioning look on your face.

“Fine! Come here.” Niki laughed as she wrapped and arm around your shoulders. You rested your head on her shoulder and held her free hand. You played with the jewelry she was wearing for her costume. You both decided to go as a duo and her side of the costume required a bunch of rings.

Lucky you.

“I love you. You know that right.” Niki said to you. You looked up at her and smiled. You kissed her on the cheek and nuzzles your head back into her neck.

“Yes I do my love. And I love you too.” You told her, your face red and having a big smile on your face.

Niki laughed and kissed your forehead. “Honestly this is nice. We should’ve just done this.” She admitted.

“I agree. Fully.” You agreed.

“Wanna go home?” Niki asked. You looked at her and nodded quickly. She laughed and stood up. “Ok let’s go say bye to a few people and hit the road. Ok?” She asked you.

You nodded and followed her inside. She grabbed her purse and your bag as you took it from her. You both said goodbye to some friends and left. You and Niki only lived a few minutes away from the apartment so it was an easy walk.

As you walked, you took Niki’s hand and pulled her closer to you. “Happy 1 year my love.” You said as you looked at her.

“Happy 1 year.” Niki giggled and kissed your hand.

Damn you were lucky.
