It's green lantern. He recognises what's going on and unlocks bonus lore through his 'magical artifact', his ring.

He recognises Ghostwriter from the records at OA, and subtly goes up to him to mention he's in the know and down to fuck around. He also knows that the quicker everyone 'dies', the quicker this will be over.

He becomes the traitor amongst the Justice League, and his character starts secretly working for the Big Bad.

He also manoeuvres Bats into taking over and running the village orphanage.

Vlad: Would you like to form an alliance... with me?

Ghost writer: Absolutely. Absolutely, I do.

Now, Vlad should know better than to ally himself with someone who broke the Christmas truce, buuuut. The call for DnD is so tempting that he just had to do it.

He then dragged Daniel and his friends into it as well. Daniel dragged his sister along and then the Fenton parents found out and, well.

It suddenly became a thing.

Oh well, both Vlad and Ghost Writer sculpt up some lore from each of their character sheets, weave a world from words and then drag a random number of people to act as their 'players.'

It was supposed to be people from Amity Park, but there was a miscalculation on that part, and honestly you can't even blame them because they've been weaving nonstop and Vlad ignored quite a bit of sleep to try and make this perfect as he could.

So instead of civilians they dragged in a few members of the Justice League and, well.

As long as they play by the rules nothing would hopefully go wrong...?

After several weeks of painstaking work, my weevil costume is done!!! I made it for a parade where our uni’s entomology club participated in, which was a lot of fun! The colors are based on Eupholus magnificus.

The build is made put of cardboard and masking tape. I covered the top stripe, eyes, and underside of the head with mesh, so visibility and breathability is pretty fantastic. The antennae are adjustable too! The head is attached to the thorax with a velcro strip.

The extra arms are attached with fishing line and velcro to the top gloves. Definitely a challenge to figure out, one of the arms unfortunately snapped off during parading :(

Overall, I’m incredibly pleased with how the costume turned out, it’s been a while since having a cool project to work on!

so I'm not watching The Buccaneers, because period dramas have to pass EXTENSIVE peer review before I engage with them (for my own sanity). but this showed up on my YouTube recommended:

this show is set in the 1870s. an unspecified year, and pre- vs. post-1875 does matter for fashion, but the decade in general that gave us Looks such as these:

and the best these designers could do was Lob With Headband + Frumpy Prom Dress What Does Not Fit? (even if the girl in question had short hair, at the time she would not have worn it that unstyled, especially not for evening. plus that is plenty long enough to pin back and attach a false chignon to, something common back then even if a woman DID have long hair)

apparently, based on interviews, this was a choice and not a budget thing. and like. I don't know about you guys, but I'm so damn tired of designers who make media set in eras they clearly don't even like the fashion of
