- If your a vigilante, Rose knows your secret identity (wether you’re batgirl or not), Your Sugar Daddy doesn’t know and you quite frankly would rather he not, you make him swear off the Wayne Family all together, but you feel guilty at not being able to protect them when the masks go on.

- We know Batsis has a limit when it comes to his work, so she will break it off eventually, leaving all the dinner dates, passionate nights and shopping behind. You know you make him very happy (mostly aroused) but happy, so he’s always a phone call away, you’re always down for the occasional fling, and your time with him will always never be forgotten, even if you did the right thing, which isn’t your style at all.

- He’s up there with John Stewart and Wally West with top five men you miss but probably wouldn’t date again for different reasons.

The thought of Ray and Jade’s dynamic had already been in my mind a lot ( ˘ω˘ ) But with BJAU, where Rayman is Jade’s lawyer (if you twist it in a way, it’s as if it’s a protector… caregiver… Aren’t lawyers just people’s protectors…?!), I really just wanna… cry 😭😭

Honestly think Jade and Rayman never meeting in CLH was a huge loss considering their original games were made by the same man , it would’ve been an interesting dynamic especially since in CLH they’re both reporters of news, just on different sides. Maybe we’ll get lucky in season two 🙏

Onto your question, I didn’t really consider the dynamic between the two that much in the au yet , as I thought more on Dolph being a sort of brother figure for her. But you’re absolutely right that Rayman would want to take care of her , not just as a lawyer but as an older figure in her life. He did originally go to law school to fight injustice and felt compelled by Jade’s case, but I can totally see him becoming more invested in her personal life as they get closer and helping her in aspects of life she struggles with

I’m currently doing a none BJAU comic focused on what could’ve happened had Jade not died in ep two. It’s short, but will be incredibly uncomfortable so I’ll add warnings. I do hope to make more of this au as well as put more thought into it, asks like these are actually really helpful!

Pride month is also a reminder on how much more work has to be done to support youth queer and trans kids. It is a huge problem with the discrimination, violence and harassment. None of it is needed for a person when life is hard enough as it is these days.

This month is also a time to remember all the people who have, in fact, been killed for being in the community; both children/teens and older people.

Other than that, this month is a time for the gays, gals and non-binary pals to slay 😘💃💗

Unpopular Opinion (but should be popular) - All your favs and characters from any media that you’re into like chubby people! I’m so tired of seeing hate for chubby reader x character! That super buff dude who could bench press a building? Yeah, he’s into chubby people! That thin dainty woman who is lowkey evil and wants to murder her enemies? Yup! She wants to cuddle up to her chubby partner every night! I’m sick of pretending like these characters wouldn’t want a soft chubby partner to hold and love and give the world to!!! 😤

Something I Like - I love the little pockets and communities within fandoms! Like I’m personally really into Genshin right now and there’s like 20 million characters. But I’m so pleasantly surprised and happy that they all get love! (Well…to varying degrees 😅) But! I’m happy that if I’m thirsting for a character I can just look up “(Character) X Reader”! We have so many talented writers and artists who give so much to our community! (Including you! 💗) I’m so happy that even within such a big fandom we can find people who obsess over “Extra #4” XD

Important: UnwhitewashTBB

Hey guys, gals, and enby pals. 👋

Lately on my dash, and within the Star Wars community at large, I’ve been seeing a lot about the UnwhitewashTBB movement and the overarching conversation about race, white supremacy, and whitewashing that afflicts Star Wars both in canon properties as well as fandom creation.

I want to make it abundantly clear that this blog supports UnwhitewashTBB and it’s message. This blog and myself do not and will never tolerate racism, colorism, or whitewashing. These things greatly affect and harm POC communities (Black, Latine, Indigenous, AAPI, etc), and in the case of The Bad Batch, specifically the Māori community.

(If you don’t know, Temuera Morrison is a Māori actor from Aotearoa (the pre-colonial, indigenous name for New Zealand), and his likeness is used for SW characters such as Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and every other clone of Jango— of which TBB members are supposed to be.)

The problem is that TBB have been made explicitly and noticeably white-passing— a clear erasure of Morrison’s race and ethnicity to make TBB more “acceptable” and “relatable” to a broader White audience. This action is known as whitewashing, and it’s incredibly hurtful and insulting to the Māori community and other POC communities that face this unfortunately common-place practice.

Whitewashing has its roots in white supremacy. It quite literally began at the start of movie/performance history, White actors used blackface or yellowface to portray POC in derogatory, exaggerated ways due to societally accepted racism. Whitewashing has evolved since then, but it’s main tenants and origin remains the same: “Cast Whites to play POC to make POC more ‘digestible’ to Whites”

Now, this is not to say that being White is a bad thing. The UnwhitewashTBB movement is simply saying that “being White” or “passing as White” is actively being weaponized against the Māori community (and by extension other POC). If you are White, like me, your skin tone is not the problem, but your complacency with the issue is. 

We have to help make the Star Wars community an accepting, safe, and prosperous place for our POC friends who have historically been oppressed by a system that favors our skin above theirs. We, as White people, have to recognize that we’ve had an advantage since the modern concept of race was coined by Europeans to benefit Europeans.

oh my god yes okay let’s get INTO IT!!

the most common pushback i get when i say “fiona gallagher is a lesbian” is but no, she can’t be a lesbian, she dated men! like babes idk how to tell you this but…..so do most lesbians. often into adulthood. i did. most of my lesbian friends did. compulsory heterosexuality runs deep, okay?

but since they bring it up, let’s examine her relationships with men + how i believe they illuminate her queerness 💡

by far her best relationship, in my opinion (while acknowledging the incredibly toxic traits they both exhibited) was with jimmysteve. it was the only one that i believed, so to speak, in terms of their connection/passion. it was obvious that they connected on an emotional level, and while jimmysteve was super emotionally stunted and had a massive victim complex, he was definitely the best of all her boyfriends. after he ran away to brazil, fiona hooked up with some other guys, went on some dates, but who did she really turn to for emotional support and affection? jasmine and vee. and we all know jasmine is bi as hell and had feelings for fiona, and i don’t think it’s a stretch to say that in a sense, fiona reciprocated some of those feelings. i mean, girls being girls, gals being pals, that’s easy to see + identify. but when i watch their scenes together, all i see is girlfriend energy (like, you can’t tell me they wouldn’t have hooked up if the circumstances were right, because they absolutely would have)

second, fiona was raised in an environment where sex was viewed as a form of currency, in a way. it was a tool she could use to get what she wanted or needed, whether it was emotional connection, physical satisfaction, etc. but, more often than not (and likely because this is what her parents drilled into her brain) sex was less about sex and more about what it could get you. monica used sex with men to get money, a place to live, etc. frank used sex for similar reasons. it then tracks that fiona, their eldest child and the only one who got to have frank and monica as “parents”, even if only briefly, would have absorbed that habit/belief.

people often think that sex and sexuality go hand in hand, when that’s not necessarily the case. sex is sex, point blank. sexuality is so much more than that. sexuality is about emotional connection, non-sexual physical attraction, and sexual attraction. with fiona, we rarely see her emotional connections with men grow and develop as deeply as her relationships with women do. there’s a reason she always goes for unavailable, unstable, and unsavory men. it’s a form of self-sabatoge, a similar habit i had when i dated men (choosing the absolute worst society has to offer) & that’s directly linked to the way she grew up thinking about sex. her behavior around men - and her promiscuity in the later seasons, especially - feels incredibly compulsory and reminds me so much of my comphet days. habits are hard to break, and she’d developed a pretty significant habit by the time we get to season 7 (her tinder flings).

this woman had more chemistry with jasmine, nessa, mel, vee, the girls at the diner, and basically every other woman she encountered than she ever had with her partners, jimmysteve aside (but i would argue that he’s very queer-coded in a lot of ways, that’s a whole other post lmao). also, i don’t know if this is completely true, but recently someone posted an excerpt from an article that said that the writers had initially planned on giving fiona the lesbian storyline in season 8, not debbie, and were going to explore her developing relationship with nessa in relation to her queerness. if this is true…*captain holt voice* VINDICATION!!!

in summation, fiona is a lesbian who was raised in an environment that reinforced her compulsory heterosexuality 😌✨💗🧡🤍
