Short Love Letter #4 ~

(I had to prioritize myself last night, but honestly was kinda bummed not having time to write anything. Writing to you has helped me realize that I really miss writing for myself. I’ve started posting on my blog not long ago and I have you to thank for that!!)

Tonight is for me. I read my favorite book by candlelight, sipping on my favorite whiskey. My soul is nourished, my mind calm, and yet there is this feeling of longing in my chest. Something is missing, something I still desire.

I close my book and dream for a moment. I see your eyes, those bright and beautiful eyes, and that feeling in my chest returns. Now I realize what that unnamed feeling is. Desire.

So here I am, craving you. Fantasizing about your legs wrapped around my waist as I lean over you, eyes locked, our breaths heavy with passion. My appetite for you is insatiable. I need your tongue on mine, I need to taste you, I need to lose focus of everything else as we desperately grind into one another. Yet, here I am, alone with my books and whiskey, craving you.
