⟣ sypnosis. suguru is busy with work and leaves you alone with mimiko and nanako for a bit. when he finally returns, he spends some quality time with the three of you.

⟣ note. just thinkin abt suguru who’s all soft 4 you and his two adopted kids (if i say he’s adopted them, he did shhhhh)

the sisters argue back and forth, leaving you awkwardly shifting in your seat as you did not know what to do or say in such a situation. your only intention by visiting suguru’s work environment was to see him, but it turned out that your lover was currently unavailable. thus why the two teenagers ended up escorting you to a nearby waiting room.

they promised to keep you entertained until their ‘master’ was done with his meeting. the said entertainment was actually just you being their test subject.

your hair was getting played with, put in multiple hairstyles which they undid if they didn’t like, hair clips randomly landing somewhere on your locks, four hands moving everywhere on your head—nanako and mimiko were having the time of their life playing the hairdresser part. but of course, they wouldn’t be siblings if they didn’t fight over the smallest of disagreements.

their little squabbles went on until a sweet voice cut through the bickering;

“how about we add this here?”

suguru appears out of thin air, leaving all three of you shocked. you felt something being put in your hair, his hands carefully wrapping the object between the strands whilst his eyes looked down at you like you were the only one present in this room.

“are you ladies alright? you seem to be in quite a shock.” the dark-haired man muses, thumb gently grazing against your cheek once he retreats his hand from your face.

the two sisters took a second or two to process suguru’s sudden appearance before the dark-blonde one jumped up to greet him—eyes glimmering as she seemed to instantly forget about you or your hair which she was busy with; “dad ! hi!”

your eyebrows raise in surprise as you hear nanako refer to suguru as her ‘dad’. she usually calls him ‘master geto’ when she’s with you. the same goes for her sister, although she was a bit more reserved;

“hi, we missed you.” mimiko smiled and waved at suguru, walking up to him after her twin did. both sisters look up at suguru expectantly—as if they were waiting for something to happen.

“aw, how sweet,” suguru hums, ruffling their hair, which was probably the ‘thing’ they were waiting on, “i missed my girls too.”

you weren’t forgotten either. suguru bent his head down to leave a soft kiss on your cheek and flashed you a loving smile; “i hope they treated you well while i was away, sweetheart.”

his manner of speaking left your heart beating in your throat, the familiar warmth spreading across your entire chest the moment his lips landed on your skin. any more and you’d be unable to hide your embarrassment.

“they did. they’re the sweetest.” you nod shyly and the sisters immediately turn their head towards suguru once more. this time they were in need of validation. most preferably in the form of verbal compliments or anything close to it.

suguru chuckles. he could recognise that body language from miles away.

“i can always count on you two.” he sighs in content and takes a seat across from you, eyes flickering from one sister to the other, “thank you for taking care of her.”

nanako and mimiko look at each other and giggle to themselves, whispering some things you can’t hear, but you can guess that they’re gushing about getting complimented by their ‘dad’. it was adorable—the dynamic between the two sisters and your lover.

“i don’t know where to look, honey. they sure did go overboard with the accessories.”

suguru comments on the current state of your hair, causing you to turn your attention towards him. he was staring back at you, a charming smile tugging at his lips whilst his hands were searching for yours.

you looked flustered at the sudden remark and laugh sheepishly in response, “yeah, well, they had fun so.. i kinda just let them do whatever.”

suguru hums whilst his eyes take your in beauty. you somehow look even prettier with all those hair clips on. the thing he added was the cherry on top;

“it sure is a pleasant sight.” he murmurs, voice tender and sultry—eyes sharp yet soft, “two flowers creating a harmonious look— how gorgeous.”

you tilt your head at his comment; yes, it made you weak in the knees again, but you tried to unveil the reason behind his use of words. two flowers?

that’s when you notice how his eyes flicker from your face to a specific place on your hair. you detach a hand from his, bringing it up to feel the object suguru put between the clips, only for your skin to come in contact with a soft surface—a thin layer which was nice to the touch.

“over here, sweetheart.”

the voice calling out to you had its desired effect; you turn your head towards it and are surprisingly greeted by your own reflection. suguru held up a small mirror in front of your face, allowing your eyes to finally see the addition to your hair;

a flower. a pretty one. you’d guess it’s some kind of orchid— suguru’s favorite since he’s mentioned before that they reminded him of you.

“thank you, love.” you press your lips together. your eyes were avoidant as expected. suguru knew you didn’t dare look him in the eyes whenever you’re flustered. a habit that makes his love for you grow stronger than ever.

“how cute,” your lover says whilst holding onto your chin, guiding your gaze back to his. his lips form a lovestruck smile once you lock eyes, “don’t ever hide that pretty face from me.”

you could feel it; his fingers that gently tug you towards him, your upper body leaning forward whilst his does the same, the longing growing in both your bodies, your hands searching for a place of stability on his shoulders, his face tilting a bit, lips parting ever so slightly—

“ehem,” a girl’s voice disturbs the romantic scene, making you almost jump out of your seat. it seems like the two of you entirely forgot about the sisters who were still in the room with you. they did want to leave you two alone and escape the space silently, however they also craved attention from suguru at the moment; “we still exist, dad.”

“oh, dear.” suguru chuckles, giving you a quick peck on the forehead instead of the lips like intended, leaving you a bit disappointed. his hand reaches out to gently pinch nanako’s cheek for her interruption; “i have my hands full, hm? come here you two.”

one arm wraps around your waist whilst the other is stretched out as an invitation for a group hug. the two teenagers waste no time and jump into suguru’s embrace, of course, including you in their comfy hug. mimiko’s arm was draped around your shoulders, pulling you closer to their shared warmth—small giggles and noises of content filling the room.

suguru sighs and finally relaxes his body after a stressful morning; the only three people he cares about most now in his arms like desired. he gives nanako and mimiko a kiss on top of their heads, whilst you get your long-waited kiss on your lips. he smiles against your mouth afterwards, pressing his forehead to yours;

“my girls.”

“Y/n. I’m serious. Just listen to me for once,” Seungmin’s tone is full of annoyance and you throw your hands in the air before turning away from him and opening the door to the party.

You make a beeline for the kitchen and grab the first bottle of liquor you see, tossing back what could be considered a shot but was probably more equivalent to three. You slam the bottle down and scrunch your face up as the liquid burns your throat.

“Woah there! No hello? Just straight for the liquor?” you hear the voice beside you and turn your head, a small smile making its way to your face.

“I’m proving a point, Lix,” you mutter out and toss back another huge gulp of the liquor before screwing the top back on and placing it back where you found it. You turn around and lean against the kitchen counter. Felix mirrors you and leans on the counter beside you.

“To who?” He questions, taking a sip from his own drink and you turn your head to face him.

“Take a wild guess,” you grumble and cross your arms over your chest again. You scan the room, looking for your Seungmin but with no luck.

“Your boyfriend… right,” he states matter-a-factly before he brings his cup up to his lips again to hide his smirk and you nudge him with your shoulder, making the drink slosh around in his cup.

“Hey! He isn’t my boyfriend!” You object and Felix looks over at you again with a raised eyebrow.

“Right because we spend every free moment we have with our friends. We always go on dates and bring each other to events as friends. I also bicker like an old married couple with my friends. And let’s not forget I always have sex with my fr-”

“Okay! I get it. Shut up,” you roll your eyes as a drunken giggle makes its way to your throat. The alcohol was definitely starting to make its appearance known.

“I just want to strangle him so bad,” You suddenly confess and put your hands out in front of you, mocking how you would strangle him.

“No, Felix! Not as a sex thing!” you can’t stop the laugh from bubbling out of your throat. Felix mirrors your laugh and looks over at you again.

“He claims that I don’t handle alcohol well. He says I get all flirty with everyone and suddenly everyone is paying attention to me. To which I said I can prove him wrong! “Don’t defend him! You’re on my side!” You object and toss the liquor back, swallowing another gulp and he puts a finger out towards you.

“You suck,” you grumble and wrap your hand around the liquor bottle before wrapping your free hand around his wrist and dragging him with you.

You two head to the living room and when you walk in, you finally land your eyes on your Seungmin. He is leaned back in an armchair with a beer in one hand and his legs are spread, making his lap look deliciously inviting.

As if he can sense you just walked into the room his eyes glance over and immediately lock with yours before he notices the liquor bottle in one hand and Felix in your other hand. You can practically hear him scoff from across the room before his tongue starts poking into his cheek and he looks away to continue his conversation.

“Dick,” you mumble out to yourself before you pull Felix to where people are sitting in a circle with a bottle in the middle. You lean down next to Hyunjin.

“Watcha playin’?” You whisper out and he nearly jumps out of his skin at your voice. He turn’s quickly, his hand gripping his chest.

“Jesus, y/n! Give a little warning before you sneak up on a guy!” He takes a dramatic deep breath and you chuckle in response, “Truth or dare. Come join!” He insists and grabs your hips, pulling you to sit next to him. He turns to Felix and grabs his hand, pulling him to sit on the other side of him. The seating leaves you sandwiched between Hyunjin and some guy that you haven’t met before.

“Let me go first!” You burst out, your voice bubbly and very happy from the effect of the alcohol coursing through your veins. You naturally draw the attention of the room but when you’ve been drinking, it’s like your presence demands everyone’s attention. Which is exactly what Seungmin hates.

He doesn’t like the idea of his girl having the attention of anyone besides him.

“Go ahead, love,” Hyunjin smiles at you and you smile back, leaning forward and spinning the bottle. You bite down on your lip as the bottle spins and when it lands on the stranger next to you, you happily turn to face him, a grin on your face.

“Truth or dare?” You are practically bouncing in your seat in anticipation.

“Do you even know my name?” He chuckles out and you wave your hand, dismissively.

“Unimportant! Focus on the matter at hand,” You put your hands on his shoulders to force him to look at you before continuing, “Truth or dare, mister!” you giggle out and he thinks for a second, silence falling upon the circle.

“Mmm, dare,” he finally decides and a devilish smirk crosses your face. You have a few go-to dares and this is one of your favorites.

“I dare you to flirt with the prettiest girl here. It has to be genuine,” you point a finger at him as the circle erupts into giggles and whooping.

“I would, but the way your boyfriend has been looking at me since you sat next to me has me scared to say another word to you,” He confesses and his eyes dart behind you. Your eyebrows drop into a furrow at the statement.

You turn around to see who he is talking about and are met with the pissed off not so happy face of your Seungmin. He is still in the arm chair but his elbows are resting on his knees, his beer is dangling in his hands between his knees and his lips are tucked into his mouth. You turn back around as soon as you realize how crazy he looks, sending chills up your spine.

“Oh him?” You point a thumb over your shoulder, “He’s not my boyfriend. He’s my,” you pause, moving your hands in front of you to look for the word, but nothing comes to you. “Seungmin. He’s just my Seungmin,” you try to conclude and you can hear Felix stifle a laugh on the other side of Hyunjin, making you stick a middle finger up at him, over your shoulder.

“So its okay if I flirt with you?” He question, his brows raising at the question.

“If you think I’m the prettiest girl in the room then yeah. That’s how the game works,” you shrug and a smirk covers his face. He scoots slightly closer to you and reaches up to touch your cheek but before his fingertips can touch you, there’s a strong grip on his wrist.

“That’s enough.” Seungmin’s voice comes from above you and you look up at him. He has a death grip on the poor kid’s wrist and in your drunken state you don’t process exactly how pissed he is.

You wrap your hand around the back of Seungmin’s thigh and pull him slightly closer to you, almost instinctively. He locks eyes with you before he tosses the guy’s hand out of his grip. Seungmin leans down and grabs you by the top of your arm, pulling you to your feet. He pulls you closer to him and leans into your ear his breath fanning down your neck.

Hyunjin immediately starts to speak to the circle, distracting everyone from the scene unfolding. Everyone is just drunk enough for the distraction to work.

“Do you want to go home?” Seungmin’s tone is low, obviously angry and you shake your head immediately.

“Then fucking behave.” His voice comes out through clenched teeth and you gulp, nodding quickly. He releases the grip he has on your arm and rubs a thumb over where he was holding you gently.

“Have a seat and be a good girl,” His voice is a little louder and Hyunjin glances up at the two of you for a moment. Seungmin scratches the top of your head and turns away from you. You quickly turn and sit back in your spot next to Hyunjin. You reach for your liquor bottle but just before you can grab it, Seungmin’s hand wraps around the bottle and he takes it with him.

You look up at him with a pout to complain but he holds s finger up at you, making you snap your mouth shut. He raises his eyebrows and mouths ‘behave’ at you one more time before retreating back to his spot at the arm chair.

You clear your throat and smile at the group, clapping your hands together. You turn to face Hyunjin and Felix and they’re both looking at you with smirks on their face.

“‘Not your boyfriend’ my ass,” Felix mumbles and you squint at him. You cross your arms over your chest, a bit unhappy that you had your drink taken away. You glance over at Seungmin and he is already engaged in a conversation with someone beside him.

He’s sitting back in his manspread again and you bite down on your lip. The liquor bottle that you so desperately want is tucked into the chair beside him and you sigh, turning back to the game.

The game is fun, a bunch of people getting dared to post things or kiss but as it went on, you found yourself getting more and more sober. Which means that these drunk games were beginning to get more and more boring.

“Ugh. I’ll be back. I need that bottle,” you lean over and complain to Hyunjin who just nods at you, much to drunk to probably even realize you are talking. You push yourself to your feet and walk over to your Seungmin. As you approach him, he glances over at you before continuing his conversation.

Once you reach him, as if he has been reading your mind all night, he pats his lap twice. He never breaks eye contact with the person he’s having a conversation with. Not even when you’re obeying his command and settling yourself in his lap.

“Minnieeee,” you whine out and dig next to him, freeing the liquor bottle from its confines. He still doesn’t fully face you, just glancing at you as you take a swig.

“Minnie….” you try again as the liquor warms your belly, making you let out a giggle to yourself. You wrap your arm around his neck when he still doesn’t pay you any attention and begin to twirl his chain with your other hand.

“Minnie!” you whisper shout at him and he looks up at the person he’s having a conversation with.

“Hold that thought,” he holds a finger up to them before turning his attention to you, “What, princess? You want my attention now? All the other attention you were getting wasn’t enough?” his voice is low enough that you know only you can hear it. Your face falls into a pout and you nod your head at him.

“Missed you s’much,” you grumble and unwrap your hand from his chain to push his hair away from his face.

“Mm. I’ve been right here all night, bub,” he wraps his arm around your hips, letting his hand settle on top of your thigh.

“Still,” you can admit that you get a little whiny and needy when you’ve been drinking, especially if you’re with your Seungmin. He just brings something out of you.

“Still nothing. You’ve had plenty of attention. I’ve been in this chair all night. Don’t be greedy for my attention, brat,” he’s joking and you can tell but there is also some seriousness behind his tone. You can’t deny that you have been acting like a brat.

“I wish you were in me all night,” you suddenly confess, big puppy dog eyes on display and Seungmin raises his eyebrows, a smirk forming on his face.

“I thought I told you to behave,” he challenges you and your lip drops out into a pout. His eyes dart down to your mouth, he can’t help finding the scene in front of him adorable.

“You’re lucky you’re cute. Let’s get out of here so I can be in you all night. How does that sound?” he asks you and you immediately lighten up, a grin covering your face as you nod, vigorously.

“Okay. Go say your goodbyes. Make sure they know that my girl is going home with me,” he assures you and you nod, hopping out of his lap and rushing off to tell your friends goodbye.

ok so lemme tell you i had the BIGGEST reading slump ever just as i started to read this. so this review may be a little choppy at some points because i've just pointblank forgotten some parts and don't wanna go back and re-read finny's pov just yet.

i was so on the fence about reading this because on one hand i really wanted to read finny's pov and on the other, complete and utter heartbreak.... yeah....... so anyway i read it.

when i tell you that this book had me ugly crying in the middle of the night. like seriously finny's pov?? fucking broke me. are you kidding me? the way he speaks about autumn? ugh when am i gonna find a guy like finny fr? but seriously this book had me on a rollercoaster of emotions just from the heartbreak knowing whats already gonna happen to finny as he describes how happy he is and how he can't believe autumn loves him back, to the smile i had on my face reading about 'the moms' bickering over baby stuff for autumn.

i will say this now i did expect a little more (hence the rating). i wanted idk more closure at the end there. idk rlly know how to describe it better since its 10 o'clock at night and ive had zero sleep for the past four nights in a row. but yeah i wanted something more. (bitch u wanted finny to be alive)

tbh i wasn't all that excited to read about jack. (also to be fair i was still sobbing from finny's pov so that probably didn't help) like i seriously just thought it'd be some jock trying to process finny's death by hooking up with alexis (who by the way can go jump up her own ass and die) but we got the whole other side of him where he was genuinely affected by finny's death and really was his best friend. but the way he didn't like autumn way just- yeah. also i saw him and sylvie coming from a mile away like seriously it wasn't very subtle.

heurhgh. thinkin abt the prince and the sea witch AU because i am an ocean boy and and and theres so much to thinkabout with this one!!!! i love aus that tap into classic fairytales becasue theres so much to work with!!! connections to make and parallels to draw

context and thoughts under tha cut cus this au sorta escaped me at first and there's very little stuff about it in english

the original au came from a leaflet that was bundled with volume 8 on toranoana:

rough translation explains that mermaid princess hinaichi rescued prince ronaldo, and sea witch draluc offers to give her legs to meet him again (and if he doesn't like her she'll turn into seafoam) which she declines. (literally what she says is "no need!" and the big words to the side of her say "no regrets" which is hilarious.) thats the end of the story and ronaldo is left alone. also, john is a sea turtle that lives in a clam.

im lifting my own headcanons and such from the original little mermaid story (not so much the didney one) where the prince doesn't see the mermaid and instead falls in love with this woman who comes to help him from a nearby temple (who he doesn't realize is actually the princess he's betrothed to later.) in this au that's draluc who was observing from a distance. (i just drew a half sunken agora and im calling that a temple. watever. its refd from one of the old arts and i think its pretty)

i like the idea that ronaldo exaggerates his own memory of spotting draluc that day due to the distance making details difficult paired with the fact that he was probably a little delirious. the idea that he doesn't immediately put together that draluc is the person he saw is kinda fun 2 me, and of course he'd make up some beautiful girl in his head. of course he would.

im messing with some ideas about draluc deciding to meddle with ronaldo instead - does he offer to turn him into a merman to look for his made up maiden? or does draluc come to land for his own reasons? maybe they visit each other at the temple every day and bring each other little things and talk and stuff. itd be cute if they butted heads but still went to see each other every day anyways.

a popular thing in the au is draluc being captured - maybe ronaldo, desparate to find his love and only knowing she was some sort of fish, does something stupid like setting up nets and traps. hahah. maybe he catches draluc and takes him to his castle to learn about merfolk and such. iunno. whatever the case i hope they fall in love in the process and also bicker a lot like their usual schtick

ive got a little sad idea that borrows from some 30 years later au stuff where draluc is worried about ronaldo's lifespan (this is also in the orig little mermaid where mermaids live longer than humans by hundreds of years) but also can't turn human to match ronaldo because it's too painful for him to walk on legs (since one of the au rules is that he must always be weak and the orig little mermaid made it clear that legs hurted real bad)

also also i very big headcanon draluc the sea witch has a sunken castle that looks a lot like ponyo's dad's house on the inside. fulla potions and stuff. wouldnt that be cute! maybe hes got an interest in human life/a collection of old things kinda like didney little mermaid - since canon draluc is so well adjusted to modern human stuff like games and livestreams and whatnot. in this au i think he'd be a lot more stubborn and reluctant to admit it, though, cus i also like the idea that his grandpa went the route of loving a human and going to land and maybe he doesn't want to end up like that? but it might be fate just cus draluc and ronaldo parallel D and helsing so well.

also i still want hinaichi to be in it but her rejection of the plot is so funny and good, i don't want to shove her in without thinking of a good way for it to make sense. she's good friends with draluc and likes his cooking...can you cook underwater??? maybe magically?? maybe draluc takes up cooking on land and brings hinaichi things he makes??? maybe then she gets interested in humans and wants to come to land to try all the cooking theyve got. iunno.

I’m not even gonna lie I did not deliver at all. But what I will give you is that I know for sure that Quackity had like been super anxious for the sleep over. As usual Wilbur was late. Literally not shocking. But basically I hadnot planned much for that chapter I had lots of ideas tho. I did want to have them maybe build a pillow fort in Slimes room cuz I thought that would be silly and also cuz Quackity would’ve lost his marbles. I also think I intended on writing a moment that chapter where Quackity wants to read Fundy and Slime a bed time story since it was routine but Fundy doesn’t know how to react and Slime shoos Quackity away because Fundy can just read to him. Quackity would’ve gone back to the living room grumbling and prob would’ve poured himself a glass of wine cuz he can’t handle not being in charge of things.

Since him and Wilbur were fighting before hand (from what I remember) I wanted it to be sort of tense and awkward. I know in the previous chapter, Slime had green marker on his face and that was how i planned on getting them to start talking. Wilbur would’ve also been drinking wine and all that jazz. However, the plan was for Wilbur to suggest to Quackity that he get Slime some tattoo markers so Slime can draw on himself without it becoming a problem, and that was gonna lead into them being fucking weird or whatever. I really hardcore believed that atstafg!Quackity had a trampstamp (there is concept art and everything). Anyways, back then i did actually write out all the dialogue as kind of a bare bones draft, so I’ll just insert that screen shot here:

Then they probably were freaks and kissed. And this time no one interrupted them for realzies.

The next morning was gonna go one of two ways.

1. Quackity was gonna wake up and realize it was almost 8:30 am (he usually woke up around 5) an get worried that the kids hadn’t eaten. In this scenario he didn’t even remember the whole thing with Wilbur because he is more worried abt the kids. He would’ve winded up walking into the living area and seeing that Wilbur was in his bath robe due to being the one who’d woken Wilbur up, and Wilbur had to find something to put on because he wanted to let Quackity keep sleeping (he knew Quackity was sleep deprived)

2. They would’ve woken up at the same time and kind of opted to ignore what had happened. Wilbur wouldn’t have been able to find his glasses and he probably would’ve said something along the lines of “Well it isn’t my fault you probably recklessly put them somewhere. If they’re broken you’re paying for it.” And they would’ve bickered before Wilbur rolled his eyes and said he didn’t need them that bad and they would’ve headed into the kitchen.

Either way, they would’ve wound up finding Slime and Fundy at the kitchen table with some books that him and Fundy were reading together. Once again, I had this vaguely written in old dms i sent so I’ll just insert those here

I did initially want Quackity to do that thing he does where he was more focused on being a parent than how he was feeling, so he was gonna be too busy with trying to schedule Slime an optometrist appointment to worry about whatever happened with Wilbur. However, Wilbur is not trying to leave in a rush cause he would rather be uncomfortable around Quackity while Fundy had fun than back at his apartment with Phil there. Eventually, when Quackity gets off the phone Wilbur finally asks why Quackity isn’t bringing up what happened, and Quackity woudlve been all like “because I have a life to live I can’t just pause everytime there is a minor accident. You just have to keep doing what you have to do, so sorry if I don’t wanna get into all that” and Wilbur would’ve been offended but not willing to walk away. He does wind up giving up the fight and saying he was gonna stay a little bit longer but just because Fundy was having a fun time. he probably says something about how he’s only staying because he’s not as bad of a parent as Quackity thinks. because truly, they never get past that.

By the way Quackity does blame himself heavily for not even thinking that Slime might have really bad eye sight and just trying to force slime to read when he couldn’t see very well to be begin with. I know a lot of people did theorize that he had dyslexia or was truly just never taught to read, but it was more so due to a lack of proper caregivers in his infant and toddler years and shockingly bad eyesight for being a six year old.

Quackity tries to get Wilbur to go home by telling Slime his friend was gonna have to go home so that he could take Slime to the eye doctor, but Slime tells Quackity “you can’t take me to an eye doctor. Your eyes are healthy. Can Fundy’s dad go instead his eyes aren’t healthy so he would be better” (thats really ooc forgive me please). Anyways, Quackity is a sucker for anything Slime wants especially since his feels really guilty in the moment. So he does say yes.

I have a much more detailed version of the whole glasses debacle, if you want that, but tbh I do not expect this post to be something anyone is actively waiting for anymore. Once again my bad for waiting so long. There were a lot of little things I hc abt Wilbur and his childhood that related to glasses that would’ve served as a bonding type of moment nd i believe i have all of that written down somewhere in my discord dms.

Anyways. I am kind of struggling to remember it all, but I did plan on Quackity and Wilbur trying to keep things professional for a chapter after that, as they were nearing the class Christmas party i believe. Maybe I don’t remember my own fics current time line but it’s fine it’s so chill. But basically when they do set up and help run the class Christmas party since they are co room moms. One of the activities is making a little handmade ornament. It’s meant to be like a gift the kids make to bring home to their parents. However, during the party Slime winds up giving his to Wilbur instead of Quackity. Quackity is not happy about this to say the least, especially since him and wilbur aren’t on the best of terms. Quackity expected Wilbur to shove it in Quackitys face and brag about winning, but instead he just awkwardly tried to give it to Quackity because he felt really bad about the fact that it happened. Quackity refuses to accept it and just kind of keeps to himself the whole time.

When the class party ends, Nikki thanks the two for how much they did and for collaborating. She mentions that Slime had been talking about how Wilbur and Quackity had a sleepover with him and Fundy all week in their morning circle, and to top it off, there had even been a day or two where Fundy talked during the morning circle too. As Quackity and Wilbur leave the school, Wilbur attempts to check in on Quackity. usually Quackity was more vocal of what was bothering him.

When he asks what’s wrong Quackity just kinda quietly says something about how it isn’t fair that Slime likes Wilbur more than him.

Wilbur goes “thats not true. he hardly knows me”

And Quackity just says that he wouldn’t get it. And it is heavily related to the fact that Quackity has tried super hard to avoid letting anyone into his life because he didn’t wanna bring someone into Slimes life that would stick around for a while but inevitably leave. After a bit of back and forth Wilbur probably mentions something like “I dont get it. You act like I’m going anywhere. You act like you aren’t incredibly aware that I can’t leave if I want to. If either of us are the type to run away, it’s you, Quackity. You always say it’s what’s best for Slime, but I don’t know if theres a single selfless reason why you act the way you do. I know I’m selfish, but I never asked to be in this situation. And I’m not saying you did. But for someone who always looks so miserable, you sure have no problem pushing me away. I may not have been the best friend you could have, but it’s not like you have any others. Our kids are friends, and I wont let this be the reason they can’t hang out anymore. But you have a lot of nerve pretending we don’t know too much about each other. I thought we would’ve worked out just fine together. I liked you, Quackity. And maybe I’m just an idiot, but feel like you might have liked me too”

Quackity tells him he doesn’t get it, and Wilbur decides to count his losses and drive home.

The next chapter I planned on having Wilbur being up late at night. School has gone on break and it is Christmas Eve now. For the first time in years Wilbur had actually put out a small decorative tree. He wasn’t sure why, neither him nor fundy were very enthusiastic about holidays. Fundy was in bed and Phil was sleeping too. He winds up getting out some craft supplies that he had left over from a while back, and makes his own version of a shitty ornament. In all honesty it isn’t that much better than the one Slime had made. He puts it in a bag along with a cheap botttle of wine he bought the day before. A part of him wanted to write “to replace the last of the things I took from you” on the card, but he settled on writing “merry Christmas, hope you like it” despite how much he wanted to say. The next morning after Fundy opens his gifts, he asks if Fundy wants to go have a play date with Slime, and Fundy says yes because he wants to tell Slime about the cool books he got.

The goal was for Wilbur to give Quackity the gift and for Quackity to attempt to act indifferent/frustrated but eventually crumble cuz he was really upset with himself. I did at the time plan on just figuring out this part when i got there, however it was gonna be kinda mushy with like them finally talking about it. I prob would’ve done some fuckass mistletoe cliche or something. I also thought it would’ve been funny to have Slime and Fundy see it and try and turn their Christmas Chinese takeout dinner into a surprise date to set their parents up. I don’t really know.

It is a little funny cuz i actually really dont like Christmas but it was going to become a Christmas fic due to pacing.

The epilogue would’ve been a fast forward to Wilbur and Quackity roughly 8 months later being fluffy and silly while coparenting and getting both Slime and Fundy ready for school. I wasn’t sure whether they’d be living together or not at that point, but either way it wasn’t like they wouldn’t have sleep overs pretty often. I thought it would be kinda silly if like Wilbur was helping get the kids ready so Quackity could get an extra hour of sleep since Wilbur usually was working until after Quackity had already picked up the kids from school. There would be some days where Quackity packed the kids lunches and some where they got to buy it at school. Some days Quackity would worry about what the kids were gonna wear and others Wilbur just let them pick whatever they wanted. Essentially just illustrating the balance that would be achieved after they got together with both families benefiting from the best of both worlds. Wilbur would’ve learned to be a more involved and responsible parent and Quackity would’ve learned to not micro manage every little thing that happened. And from that point on they both became co room moms until Fundy and Slime got sick of their parents wanting to be involved with every school function

Johnny - very buisness-like type of relationship, they tend to bicker over scaring (johnny refuses to believe anyone could know more about scaring than him), johnny holds a “i brought you to popularity out of my own kindness, do as i say.” Type of attitude towards ror in general, but heavily towards mike as he’s the newest member.

Javier - probably the ror member mike is “closest” with, if you could even call him close with anyone in ror. Javier just lets mike yap about whatever topic has infatuated him, he doesn’t really listen, just a nod and ‘uh huh’ every once in a while does it for mike. (Because mike is so shocked someone would actually let him talk about his interests but thats another thing i’ll talk about later)

Chet - they tolerate each other? Mike finds chet to be a bit insufferable, always kissing up to johnny, etc, etc, chet just kinda acknowledges that mike exists and they leave it at that.

Chip - mike makes chip some polish/russian foods and chip makes him irish foods in return, they dont really talk though, more just a battle of who can give each other the most food, otherwise they dont care abt each other

Reggie - they only really interact because mike helps him with work sometimes

dunno abt ideal vacation hcs but I am absolutely certain that kyle hates the beach. cartman too. if they have to go they would spend the whole time under one of those giant umbrellas bitching abt it being too hot, how the sand is annoying, and people are gross etc. while kenny, stan, & butters have a delightful time

kyle gets burnt really easily and it’s painful when he does. cartman just doesn’t like the beach probably because ‘there are too many minorities’ or smth, so him and kyle are bickering about why cartman is just a racist piece of shit and cartman ends up taking kyle’s umbrella if he falls asleep. kyle gets hella burnt and can’t even put a shirt on because his stomach and back got burnt so bad. cartman probably drew crude things in sunscreen all down his back, so he has burns everywhere except he has slurs and dicks that aren’t burnt because cartman drew in sunscreen on his back. so kyle’s gonna be wearing dark tshirts to ensure nobody sees until it’s fully healed. Cartman purposefully talks about how much piss there is in the ocean, not just from people, but from animals too, so Kyle probably avoids it because of that too.

kenny loves the beach. probably insists on taking karen (i kinda like to headcanons that karen and ike are best friends, so kyle brings ike along, who’s having a delightful time as well). kenny likes the water a lot. he’s actually a pretty good swimmer and probably has no concept of coldness and is just in the ocean up to his shudders all ‘guys it’s not even that bad!’ (the water is like-45°) kenny also likes chasing the seagulls, but he probably gets his eyes pecked out by the end of the day.

stan probably likes to watch the sun set and stuff. he doesn’t LOVE the beach (least not like kenny and butters do) but he’s not bitching under an umbrella like kyle and cartman. he’s there for the scenery. I kinda like to headcanon that him and Shelley got closer after a few years, so in his teenage years him and Shelley would go up together. She’s still a bit a passive aggressive and will sometimes purposefully shove him into the water but she’s not trying to beat the absolute snot out of him. Stan is sedimental and sensitive sometimes, so he kinda associates the each with mending his relationship with his sister.

Butters LOVES the beach. He probably either tries to get Kenny to leave the seagulls alone or he joins right in. He builds a sandcastle empire and claims to be the ‘king of the sand people’ or something. He’s the kind of person to wear dad bathing suits (like the brightly colored ones with the flowers or smth). He probably does what he did as Prof. Chaos and pretends he’s a giant after he’s done with his little sandcastle empire. He can get surprisingly tan tbh. He doesn’t get burnt easily. He feeds the birds but then wonders why there’s suddenly 50+ seagulls swarming him. Him and Kenny have a splash war and he probably splits his lunch with Kenny. “Aw, Ken, all that swimmin’ seems to have worn out your poor tummy. Let’s split a lunch, okay?” (probably in response to Kenny saying he’s kinda hungry or smth)

Anyway. The boys (for the most part) love the beach. Headcanon adjourned.

CR3 EPISODE 64 SPOILERS

(im probably missing a bunch of shit since the episode just ended and im sort of rambling)

i did an oopsie and stayed up till 1 am tonight to watch the bells hells reunion and while i don't regret it, now that the party has been split again, im so sad. i understood they couldn't have stayed but it was still so hard.

deanna and frida especially just... fit too well, and i really really fucking hope nothing bad happens to either of them because mentally i couldn't handle it.

laudna and ashton vying for attention with prism was really funny and accurate because I'd argue that she had more a connection with them both. she still had very good chemistry with orym, so it was funny to see her claim him as a bestie.

i FUCKING LOVE AABRIA SO DAMN MUCH SHE'S PERFECTION. it sucks we don't get to see more of deanna and everybody else bc she has such a good spirit and her chemistry with every single person at that table is unmatched. gonna miss her and chetney as horny but beautifully intimate lovers, and im gonna miss her and fcg bickering, and im gonna miss her and fearne flirting, AND im gonna miss her and imogen's sweet dynamic of faith and understanding and comfort, AND im gonna miss seeing her and frida's unbreakable bond.

christian was a gift like no other, and i almost started bawling when fcg and frida had to actually come to terms with saying goodbye. i hope that frida stays safe, and that nothing happens to fcg, and i want them to be together for a long long long LONG time. it's what they deserve.

God ive been so bad about that fic i swear i have so many ideas for it but this year has been SOOO busy for me 😭😭 most of my free time has been dedicated to drawing and playing games cuz writing doesn’t come as naturally to me ngl….BUT SOON ENOUGH I WILL LOCK IN I PROMISE!!!! its been crossing my mind a lot more recently snd ive started a little bit of the next chapter…Ur guys’ support means the world to me im so happy to know people enjoy it as much as i do 🥹 and i desperately wish i had more time to dedicate to all my projects

as for your first question though….LMAO yeah the show did rapunzel DIRTY….Honestly it really depends for me, but i think you’re definitely right about cass and eugene. and rapunzel definitely struggles i think to apologize Genuinely, because she can get really overwhelmed with her guilt and anxiety to the point that she loses sight of the actual problem. its kind of a rough spot for all of them

I honestly haven’t thought abt it a lot so idk if i know what they’d fight about Specifically, but what i can come up with off the top of my head is ummm

rapunzel is a chronic Fixer. whenever someone expresses a problem to her shes quicker to try and “solve” it than she is to just. Listen because she kind of has grown up with the idea that everything is Her fault and She needs to fix everything. I think cass and eugene can end up feeling really unheard because of this. Usually it’s just something they can quickly talk through but when put on top of other conflicts it exacerbates things a LOT.

Raps, cass and eugene can all be INCREDIBLY stubborn and set in their ways and they sometimes struggle to hear each other out. rapunzel i think has her moments, but generally she isn’t too bad about it; eugene has a temper and he can be VERY petty but i think unless he REALLY has a reason to hold a grudge against you, he usually just needs about a week to cool down- but Queen of Anxious Attachment Cassandra Tangled (tm) can end up going AGES holding a grudge and just refusing to check in with anyone. as you probably can imagine it does not go well

i think bc rapunzel has such a strong belief that love is transactional she sometimes gets trapped in a cycle where she basically attempts to min-max her time with eugene and cass respectively because she worries if she isn’t spending “equal” amounts of time with them then it means she must not love them enough. as you might imagine this causes a lot more harm than good….

cass is REALLY REALLY bad at asking for help and being vulnerable and especially admitting when someone does something that hurts her. i think this causes a LOT of really stupid miscommunications between them. eugene or rapunzel are both usually able to talk her through it depending on who shes upset at…and it really helps to have a third party there who she trusts because otherwise it could easily just spiral out of control and cause her to grow bitter and distant (As seen in canon LOL)

Ummm….To be completely honest i cant really see a lot of situations where cass and eugene like, Genuinely fight after they get with rapunzel. they obviously still bicker a lot but like, frankly after they’ve both figured their shit out i just don’t think they have much of a reason to fight anymore. Their whole rivalry has always been really childish and most of the more serious stressors have already been taken care of by the time the series ends. i think most of their fights are just over stupid shit and get resolved within the hour. i think they’d have to both go through a MAJOR traumatic event to actually get as bad as they were in season 1 again LMAOOO

How they apologize definitely depends a lot on the situation (go figure) but i genuinely dont think they get into Big fights very often…so when it does happen it takes a toll on all of them.

eugene i imagine is a little extra but sincere. doesn’t do Too much because he doesn’t want to overwhelm the girls, but probably just picks a quiet night and orders takeout or makes a small dinner to talk over. sometimes it can take eugene a while to realize when he’s fucked up but when he DOES realize it, it hits him like a TRUCK and he IMMEDIATELY jumps to do everything in his power to rectify it. he’s a big softie <3

cass is a lot more prideful than raps and eugene whether she realizes it or not, so its a lot harder for her to admit her faults, even when she knows she was wrong. she doesn’t like to make a big deal of when she apologizes because it’s really embarrassing for her. she’s the kind of person to send the apology text to the group chat and have to like physically put her phone down and start pacing around the room. To me.

rapunzel, like i said struggles to genuinely apologize because her anxiety and guilt can just become so overwhelming….she usually has to spend a bit of time away before shes ready to Really talk things out. When she is she definitely shows it quietly but clearly, she writes little notes with a paper bouquet and leaves them around where the other two will find them. they leave her little notes back and let her come to them when she’s ready.

admittedly i’m Not good with thinking of character conflicts off the top of my head, they have to come to me in Visions, and i just don’t end up thinking about a lot of ukd conflicts so hopefully this is okay LOL…..I would love to hear other ppls thoughts….. :3
