2024 vs. 2022. I still like this art (my first Imodna art ever!) as is, but I wanted to re-render it using all of the new things I've learned over these 2 years.

Back then, when it was first posted, Imogen and Laudna were just roommates...

Imodna has been canon for one year and thirty weeks (27 days ad infinitum)

In the aftermath of their victory against Predathos, the release of the gods, and discussions with the leaders of the world on how to usher in a new age on both Exandria and Ruidus, Laudna and Imogen seek Lieve’tel for insight on what can be done to release Laudna from her stasis in time. Through her own power, Lieve’tel casts Divine Intervention to tie Laudna and Imogen’s strings of fate, and guarantee a future where they will live and grow old together.

“—That little cabin in the woods?”

“Yes. Yes.”

Today I present yet another Imodna moment. The way that that cottage meant so much to them. It was literally the one thing that drove them to their happily ever after. I absolutely love how much they wanted that cottage. It meant so much to them.

I absolutely love how far Imodna has come. Like from best friends, to them in a fight, to Imogen buying her a ring to make up, to “is she your favorite” , to Laudna dying, to Laudna coming back, to “your my tether” and cottage talk, to being separated, to being reunited, to “can I kiss you” to swordgate, to Delilah taking over her popping out, to “I will never let you go”, to Delilah taking over for a minute, to “I’m gonna miss our little cottage”, to taking a break but not really, to defeating Delilah and caging the bitch 💅, to them talking about the cottage again, to Imogen taking in Predathos, to Predathos slowly taking over, to Imogen fighting and winning (by getting the final blow), to Imogen expelling Predathos out of herself, to visiting the matron of ravens temple and being tethered to each other? Or whatever that was, to going back to the Talon Highlands and building their cottage. And I know I’m missing some stuff but that’s what I remembered off the top of my head.

Look at how far the babies have come.

It feels surreal to see another campaign over. I remember finding out about Critical Role back in 2020. I was binge watching Mighty Nein when I got one of the most powerful Inspiration boosts in my life.

I drew this art a long ago, and only a few people in the world got to see it. I would do many things differently now, but hope you'll like it. Without Critical Role (and all of you, of course) I probably wouldn't be where I am now, and for that, I'm entirely grateful. Goodbye, Bells Hells, thank you for everything 💜🖤
