do you think matilda would like shadow&rouge fusion more or less than either of them individually? 🤔 i know the originals are always better in the sense she probably wouldn't choose to REPLACE them, but what do you think her opinion would be?

I think at first she'd feel like she wants to see them all the time cause she thinks its SO COOL, immediately goes to "CAN I DO THAT?" and wants them to show her. She sees them fight with mastery of both shadow and rouge's fighting techniques and she's in awe. But I think rougeshadow's personality would rub her the wrong way real fast. I can see them being really condescending and have an edge to them that theyre individually able to supress more when interacting with matilda, but mashing their personalities together brings it out full force so they can come off as quite mean. So having two people you're close to suddenly act like a different person (which they are but matilda doesnt grasp the more complex side of fusing yet) doesnt vibe with her to the point where she'd probably avoid them outside of a fight until they unfuse. She'd much rather have her friends individually than have them replaced with someone she doesn't recognize

Like, where the Turks+Rufus, Sephiroth and maybe others that you think relevant, find out that the reader is also an Ancient/Cetra like Aerith but instead of being half-Ancient, the reader is like, fully Ancient. If you understand what I mean. How would they react? What would they do? It can be them being yandere or normal,up to you tho. Again sorry for bothering you.

Hello anon, thank you for the request/scenario. You are not bothering me! Though, I'm sorry to say that I can only do Sephiroth and Rufus for this request as that is too many characters for a scenario (Limit is three) and that I hadn't decided if I want to write for the Turks yet. For the third character... I will do Tifa for this since I hadn't written her yet!

Rufus Shinra: He'd be surprised for sure. He thought there was only one ancient left, and the chances of the company capturing her again were slim to none. So for his darling to be an ancient, he would do his damndest to make sure that they are well-protected. And yes, this means he's going against Shinra's interests to protect them. Even if it means the darling could be Shinra's key to the promised land. They will find another way to it (if it exists) without compromising Darling's identity and safety. I think the only other person who would know about this is Tseng, since he is the loyal right hand of Rufus. He'd be just as dedicated to protecting Darling. Especially since this would certainly bring up memories of the times he watched over Aerith. But this time, this watch will be permanent.

Fluffy Sephiroth: He's honestly amazed as he read about the Cetra during his childhood. Hojo had him study these people in his "free" time. His curiosity would drive him to ask his darling a few questions about it since it'd be interesting to hear first accounts from a legitimate cetra. Still, he is careful not to reduce Darling to their heritage, having firsthand knowledge of what it feels like to be treated like an exotic tool rather than a human being. He'll also keep it a secret, knowing that Hojo would be more than interested in his darling once he finds out. Eventually, he'll make the decision to leave SOLDIER sooner rather than later, in order to protect his darling from a life of experimentation.

Tifa Lockhart: When her darling first told her about their heritage (during their childhood), she told all the other kids in Nibelheim about it. Darling's adoptive parents quickly debunked the "rumor" once it reached the adults, leaving Cloud as the only child who still believed it. Now, as adults, Tifa would feel guilty about it once she learnt more about the Cetra and what Shinra wanted to do with them. She'll approach the darling and apologize for spilling their secret out during their childhood, even though nothing really came about it. But even as darling forgave her and reassured her, Tifa couldn't shake some of the guilt off. So now, she always glances at Darling when the topic of the Cetra comes up, making sure they're fine and their secret stays safe. If someone asks Darling about it, she will definitely jump into the conversation, either by quickly changing the subject or diverting attention to herself to protect Darling.

"Say hi to Minami, Y/n." Your mom told you, pointing at the boy in front of you. He was standing like a statue, hardly any emotion showing on his face. You hid behind your mother and shyly said "Hi".

"Hello." Minami gave you ghost smile while holding his mother's hand, who was sitting on the chair.

His mother spoke with weak voice. "Minami, this is Y/n. She's your age. I hope you two will get along well." Your mom nodded at her words.

Your mom and Minami's mom were classmates and close friends in the school, but since she left Japan and went to Brazil, they didn't have much contact. But now, your mother decided to travel to Brazil as well, taking you with her and immediately visiting her old friend who had fallen ill.

"My, my, I heard your illness got worse." Your mother sat next to her friend as they went on with their conversation, leaving you two awkwardly standing.

"I'm Y/n." You tried to start the conversation as you usually did with other kids. But he definitely was hard one to befriend.

"I know."

"Oh." You looked down at the floor, thinking what to say next. "Yes, but...It's polite to introduce yourself to people you've just met."

He silently looked at you before nodding and introduced himself as well. "I'm Minami. Minami Terano."

"It's nice to meet you, Minami-kun. Let's be friends!" You excitedly looked at him. Befriending kids was never hard for you, in fact, it was a piece of cake. You had so many friends in Japan and it'd be nice to have friends in Brazil as well!

"Um..." Minami looked at his mother, his eyes slightly widening when he saw her laughing, genuinely caught up in the conversation and for once, genuinely enjoying something. "Sure." He looked back at you, giving you ghost smile again.

"Do you have any toys? We could play with them!"

"No...I only have piano to play with."

"Ohh! You like music then? We have something in common! I like music too! Tho I play violin."

"You do?"

"Yup!" You nodded your head. "Do you have anything favorite to play on piano?" You excitedly asked, also scanning the room to spot the instrument.

"Lullaby." Minami answered, scratching his head.

"That's cool!"

It's the first time someone, aside from her mom, thought of him as cool. He never really recognised his musical skills, he was just playing piano for his ill mother. But, it'd be a lie if anyone would say that he didn't enjoy it.

After some convincing, he played piano for you. The sight was too beautiful. He looked so peaceful while playing some unknown lullaby, but despite you not recognising it, the melodies, the sounds filled your ears, as if trying to heal something, trying to hypnotise you and lure you closer to the boy.

"WHOAH!" You let out, clapping loudly for him. He just brushed it off, saying it wasn't anything praiseble.

After that day, you were visiting Minami very often and sometimes bringing your toys to play with him.

His mother didn't miss the fact that her son became more open and expressive. He was sometimes asking her if you and your mom were going to come again.

Since he didn't want to leave her mother alone, you two were playing inside his room. He even teached you how to play Piano.

"Not that note." He sighs and corrected you, telling you that you were supposed to play So and not La. "Try again."

And you did, you tried your best to follow Minami's instructions but piano definitely wasn't for you. After 14th try, you gave up. "Man, I didn't think it would this hard to play a piano! How did you even learn this?!"

"I don't remember." Minami calmly answered, confusing you. Noticing your visible confusion, he added. "I knew how to play it as long as I can remember. I don't really remember my past, you know.."

"Ohhh." You said and nodded your head at him. Though you had questions, you choose to don't egg him and change the subject.

"I don't really remember how I learned to play violin too, to be honest." You confessed. "I only remember my teacher nagging me and scolding me." You giggled at the memory.

"Really?" Minami looked at you with unexpected curiosity. "I heard teachers do that often but I never had one myself!"

You remember what your mother said, that Minami doesn't go to school so it's understandable he would never have the same experience. "Well, it's definitely not pleasant experience. But not all teachers are like that, of course! For example my art teacher at school is very kind woman, she doesn't give us homework too!" Noticing how invested he was in the topic, you continued talking about your school.

The next day you brought your school books with you. You and Minami sat at the corner as you started reading for him. The story was about two kids helping each other out when facing problems and their friendship.

Minami suddenly said: "This story kind of reminds me of us."

You smiled at him. "You think so? To be honest, I was thinking that too! That's why I specifically choose to read this story!"

The boy smiled back, explaining why it reminded of two of you, a you carefully listen, sometimes scheming in that you also thought the same.

The day after that, your mom tagged along with you, checking up on her friend. You two bought products for them, supporting them as much as you two could. You immediately run up to Minami and gave him a toy motorcycle.

"What's this...?" He asked, looking at the toy from the every angle.

"it's the motorcycle, small version of Honda." You explained, showing him the little text on the toy that said Honda. "Boys in my class enjoy playing with these things so I thought you'd enjoy it too.." You awkwardly scratching your head, hoping he would like it.

Minami stared at the toy longer than he should have, he couldn't get his eyes off of it. "Thank you! I'll take good care of it." He looked at you with the biggest smile on his face. You smiled at him too.

"Oh and...This!" You took out the bracelet from your pocket. The bracelet was clearly handmade. It had the letter "M" on it. "I made it myself. Tho I'm not very good at these stuff..." You hesitantly said while putting the bracelet on his wrist, while Minami looked at your movement carefully. "I still hope you like this too."

He brushed the bracelet with his hand, staring down at the "M" letter. "I'll take care of this too." He said, smiling to himself.

There was something about his smile that made you feel butterflies in your stomach. It's not the first time you have seen him smile like that but everytime, every single time, you cheeks would heat up and you'd have the same feeling in your stomach.

What was it?

You didn't know, at least, not that time.

Spending time with him was a blessing. Minami started visiting you himself if he had time. For some reason, he was more talkative with you than before, not that it bothered you. He wouldn't fail to make you laugh, smile and blush everytime you were with him.

For example, when you two were playing outside, he made the crown of flowers for you and put it on your head. "It suits you so much." he'd say.

You wondered if he really enjoyed spending time with you, or if he was like that with you because he didn't have any other friend. Despite some negative thoughts popping up in your mind, you didn't want to stop spending time with him.

But unfortunately, things didn't go in your way. Five days after, your parents started having a big fight between themselves, while you were in your room, shaking and hugging your knees.

It's all my fault.

You'd think.

"How can you even look at my face and act like nothing happened, you cheater!" you heard your mom screaming at your father. You couldn't understand the situation well and neither you wished to, you just wished they would stop fighting already and that everything would be alright.

But once again, that was just a sweet daydreaming. Divorce soon followed that fight and according to your mom, dad wouldn't stay with you two anymore, since he choose someone else over you two.

In that period, you did distance yourself from Minami a bit.

"I'm sorry, 'nami. I'm not really in the mood f-"

"It's okey. Mom told me you are going through hardship right now. So, I understand. But...Don't push me away, okey?" the boy hesitantly asked. As much as he wanted to give you space, he didn't like the idea of you distancing yourself from him, not after you became such an important person in his life.

"Thank you for your understanding, 'Nami." You smiled at him, while he was waiting for your answer on his question, which he never got.

After days passed, you visited Minami to play with him again. He was playing piano for his sick mother again. When you knocked on the door, he stopped playing and opened the door. "Y/n!!" he gasped, throwing his arms around you.

"Awwe, I missed you too." You laughed and pat his back. The light in his eyes were back but somehow he seemed more...How to say it? Sad? Probably. He had small bags under his eyes, as if he hasn't slept well.

After greeting Mrs. Terano, you asked her if you and Minami could play outside.

"of course. Don't go far away tho!" she weakly answered.

You grabbed Minami's hand and took him to nearby park, it wasn't far away from his house. You two sat on the bench and you immediately started conversation. Minami was carefully listening to you but you couldn't help but feel like something bothered him.

"What's wrong, Minami?"

"hm?" surprised expression flashed his face before he gathered his composure again. Despite this all, you noticed he wasn't very expressive as he was before. You patiently waited for him to open up but instead, he posed you a question. "Y/n, who do you think is a bad person?"

"uhh...? Criminal?"

"only criminals?"

"I don't know. Anyone can be good or bad. We never know who is it. But if I had to describe a bad person...I guess they'd have to be selfish, manipulative, sadistic?" You looked at him. "Why are you asking?"

"Just curious....."

After that day, Minami would distance himself from you. Whenever you'd look at him, there was not a single sign of genuine emotion. Of course as his friend you got worried about him.

"are you alright, Minami? It seems like something is bothering you..."

"...I'm fine."

"you sure? You know you can tell me everything."

He was silent for a minute and you gave him time to collect his thoughts.

"it's about my father figure." He quietly mumbled.

"your father figure...?" you also quietly whispered to him.

"He's the leader of the gang, Dino South."

"What?!" you stand up on your feet. Dino South was pretty popular in this city and they've been on the news multiple times. "What does he want from you?! Is he threatening you?!"

Minami shakes his head. "he's the one paying for my mom's meds."

"huh?!"

"In exchange...I need to do bad things for him."

You were speechless. For how long has this been going on?! And you didn't even know... "what...? You should report him to police!"

He gritted his teeth. "I can't! I can't do that!"

You looked at him with pity. "You can find other ways to pay for Mrs. Terano's meds. I'll help you too!"

"I can't stop now that I have started playing his game, Y/n." He stand up from the ground too. "That's why, I'll be his dog and kill him."

Kenge relationship headacanons

Jasiri-Jasiri and Kenge have created an unlikely friendship. Being a new leader, she wanted to give everybody in the Outlands another chance to respect the Circle of Life and Kenge was no exception. Kenge didn’t want anything to do with her at first, but the more Jasiri showed that she cared about her subjects (and acted like his therapist), he slowly became more trusting and protective of her. She’s even regarded him as family at one point. “Everyone in the Outlands are like a big family, and that includes you”. Kenge won’t admit it, but he actually teared up at that. Nobody’s ever thought of him as family before

Wema and Tunu-He claimed that he wasn’t fond of kids, but that changed once he met the twins. They were too pure for the world, not even Kenge had the heart to hurt them. So Kenge did what he knew best: he taught them and the other kids (and skinks) to fight. Kenge won’t lie, they really grew on him. They lowkey remind him of himself when he was young, being all sweet and innocent

Janja, Chungu, and Cheezi-All three of them are still terrified of him…and make the mistake of using the word “little” around him (they don’t call him little, but they do use phrases like “a little help”)

Jackals: Pretty cordial to Reirei and Goigoi keeps annoying him with his stupidity. Dogo, Kijana, and the other pups are pretty much the only ones he cares about, being his students and all. He likes how much potential Dogo and Kijana show him

Kiburi-I like to think the friendship would be a lil one-sided on Kiburi’s part. Like he’d lowkey see Kenge as an honorary float member due to how much potential he has, but Kenge’s shown to be pretty indifferent. He’d see Kiburi as a cocky asshole if anything (he may be cocky himself but he’s not that prideful yk?). This is until Kiburi says something like “you’re a big guy, ain’tcha?” at some point and it sticks cuz Kiburi’s the only animal bigger than him who said something like that. It hit different. They got mutual respect for one another, so they’re cool. As I said before, Kenge’s kinda like the honorary croc in the float, it’s really sweet since Kenge finally feels like he’s one of the big boys

Skinks-As I covered before, Kenge acts as the skinks’ protector/bodyguard. Shupavu and Njano were smart enough to get on his good side and convince him that lizards have to stick together. I like to think they INTENDED to just use him for protection and nothing else, but then they got to know Kenge more. Now they got they have the one of the most genuine friendships in the Outlands. Shupavu and Kenge bonded over their relationship with Ushari and they genuinely worry over the other’s well being at times. Njano and the other skinks also like to act as Kenge’s hype-men (lizards) and even try giving dating advice when he develops feelings for Maji. Njano definitely likes to mess with him sometimes

Sumu-Kenge and Sumu met during the battle in “The Scorpion’s Sting”. After regaining consciousness, he permanently went his separate way and lay down to rest. Unbeknownst to him, Sumu happened to be sitting right next to him eating a mouse he caught. Then they just…started talking and have been by each other’s side ever since.

Their relationship dynamic is basically 50% wholesome “You’re one of the few people in my life who doesn’t suck and I care about you” and 50% friendly banter. Took a while for the both of them to realize they made a friend in each other tho

Ushari- Kenge and Ushari have known each other since they were kids. After essentially being ditched by his siblings by trying to find a flower that doesn’t grow in Africa, a lonely Kenge is sulking when a little snake-let comes along and asks him if he’s okay. They introduced themselves and they’ve been at each other’s side ever since. Ushari did his best to stand up for Kenge from his brothers and Kenge would defend Ushari from getting stepped on with his life. They would do anything for each other

Kifo-Gonna keep this one brief since I already covered them, but Kenge did NOT like Kifo at first due to being reminded of Ushari and his death whenever he saw her. After she proved she could talk to Ushari, he began opening up. He’s now trying to teach her how to use her venom for self defense

Maji-Ever since becoming lovers, Kenge shows to genuinely love and care about Maji and vice versa. You’d think he’d be the abusive type, but he surprisingly isn’t. He’s actually the most calm when he’s with her. They treat each other as equals and gladly fight back to back when either of them is in danger. He even has a habit of (lovingly) staring at her, it’s adorable. I wouldn’t call him romantic, but he’s trying lmao. Luckily, Maji’s version of romance is Kenge’s fighting so it works out. She thinks it’s attractive :)

They also do this thing where they interlock their tails. It’s the lizard equivalent of hand-holding and it’s ADORABLE

Jino and the rest of his siblings-Already said this before, but they literally hate each other. While Kenge only wanted his siblings’ love and to fit in with them, Jino and the others saw Kenge as nothing more than a burden. They would hurt, mock, and tease him about his size, with Jino claiming he wanted to “toughen him up”. It wasn’t until Kenge finally stood up for himself that Jino finally started treating him as one of them. When Kenge declined and left, Jino went straight back to mocking him.

Kenge’s also kind of scared of Jino, which is why he felt like he couldn’t do anything when he came to visit. He was scared that Jino might beat him up, something he’s done before. After Kenge stood up for himself a second time, Jino and his other sibling became more submissive and scared of him. Jino still acts cocky as hell, but he avoids Kenge now….or does he?

Badili- OKAY HEAR ME OUT ON THIS ONE. So imagine Kenge has to go to the Backlands to get a certain plant for a very sick Kiburi. He goes with Janja, Chungu, and Cheezi in the Back Lands and soon chooses to go his own way. His stubbornness ends up getting himself lost in Mirihi Forest where he meets Badili.

Kenge didn’t really like Badili at first since he found him to be “too chipper” and was just focused on getting the plant. Throughout Kenge’s visit, however, Badili just kept being nice to him and helping him no matter how angry or bossy Kenge got. Badili never saw Kenge as a bad lizard, but a broken one. He was smart enough to realize Kenge’s hatred of the word “little” was because of past trauma. They eventually get to officially bond after Kenge almost bites Badili when he made the mistake of using the word “little” around him. While semi-afraid, Badili stands his ground and asked something no one else did:

“Are you okay?”

From that point on, they share each other’s past experiences and Kenge finally warms up to the leopard. Badili’s kindness reminds him of himself when he was younger and the fact that he overcame his fear of his bully was actually kind of impressive to him. He just didn’t get how Badili didn’t become…well, like him. Badili’s responded with “Because I didn’t wanna stoop down to his level”. I like to think he teaches Kenge that becoming a hate-filled bully isn’t a good way to deal with your problems and that definitely gets Kenge to humble himself… or at least not be as grouchy as before. They have a heartfelt moment when Kenge meets with the hyenas and they find the plant. Kenge definitely promises to visit him someday. You could even call them friends :)

Megatron gets the best moments in that movie. There's a bit of a trend in Western animation where revolutionary characters are villainized to promote a pro-status quo narrative that privileged people are enamored with, do you think this is the case? I personally only think it's like 5-10% true for this movie. I don't wanna sound like a centrist, but I kinda feel like both Optimus and Megatron make good points. Tho seeing Megatron dealing with Sentinel was pure satisfaction. What do you think?

This was what I mentioned earlier when I said there was something I wanted to marinate on with the film: does Megatron fall into that trap of making a villain that has so much of a point that you're questioning why they are even framed as a villain to begin with?

The conclusion I've come to is "no." Here's why.

Note, I will be referring to Orion/Optimus and D/Megatron as both of their given names depending on what part of the story I am discussing.

Also spoilers.

The moment Sentinel is revealed to be a fraud, there is no ambiguity that he needs to be dealt with. Sentinel is the real villain, and the film does not let up on that. Neither Orion nor the film itself ever suggest that Sentinel can be negotiated with or reasoned with. ALL of the protagonists are in agreement that he needs to be rid of because Sentinel sold out his people and manufactured a need for a lower class of Transformers, and the movie ends with the heroes eliminating the need to mine for energon, thus eliminating that need for a lower class, so the film is DEFINITELY not pro-status quo.

While there is one moment where Optimus tells Megatron not to kill Sentinel, it is only AFTER Sentinel is exposed as a fraud and the public knows the truth. I still wish Optimus didn't play the whole "this doesn't make us better than him" card cause his actual argument is "it's over. We already beat him. Our job is done."

And the movie still gives Megatron the satisfaction of killing Sentinel anyway and exacting his retribution even though he (Megatron) is ultimately exiled, so he isn't robbed of his rightful closure.

I think the movie does a good job of showing that the problem with D/Megatron's praxis isn't the fact that he is pro-retribution. It's that he has no long-term plan for the people, and a revolution has to be about the people. D's focus on self can be noted from the beginning of the movie. He often thinks about the consequences of things, but only as far as how they can harm him and his only friend, Orion, which isn't inherently evil so you don't really clock it.

Conversely, Orion is always thinking about uplifting the people, but at first his approach to that ideal is very unrefined and somewhat self-serving. However, you can see him refining his worldview in real time and realizing that it takes a communal effort to bring about change, rather than appealing to the current powers that be. The writers did their best to work around the fact that the maguffin is literally called the Matrix of Leadership to get this point across and while it's not perfect, I think it does its job.

All this being said, it's been less than 24 hours since I've seen the movie, so there may likely be some blind spots in my analysis, so my thoughts are subject to change, but that's where I'm currently at, as of this posting.

Twilight

This is basically my concept for "what if twilight was like an actual nerd?".

i gave her freckles/acne and glasses coz they are typical nerdy things. i think they look super cute on her tho ^w^. i got rid of her highlights in her hair coz (even tho it is probably meant to be natural in the show) nerds dont have time for adding highlights to their hair. her hair is also shorter to make it look more like the kind of practical hair cut girl nerds often have. she is wearing her comfy clothes coz she wants to be cozy when studying and doesnt care how she looks. she is wearing her favourite nerdy fluffy socks with her fav star constellations on them (i only know the big dipper lol -v-'). she is also wearing her comfy grey plain hoodie. for some reason every nerd seems to have a plain grey hoodie. it has spare pens in the pockets to.

she has a different cutiemark here which is basically my concept for what her cutiemark might have been if she wasn't the fated leader of the elements of harmony. it represents her studious personality and her love of stars. I also gave her a big backpack stuffed full of supplies. i can attest to the fact that studious students never have enough equipment and our bags look like this XD. it is an old but sturdy bag which has even been patched up but still going. there is a pink ruler sticking out coz everyone seemed to have those pink rulers when i was at school lol.

Every badge on this bag actually is meant to have a specific subject although its hard to see so small. now i will go through each one. Top left green one with dark blue what looks like an animal is a picture of an Ursa Minor. Brown one top right is a man holding a bow ancient etching on a cave wall picture. Big blue one is obviously more star constellations. Bottom right is a fire so hot the flame is blue. Right middle one is a skull. Middle brown and green one is an abandoned church structure. Bottom middle blue one is the Milky Way. Bottom left is a nerdy funny quote. Middle green one I actually don’t remember what it was meant to be anymore. I’m gonna day it is a rare plant tho coz that makes sense I think it was something like that. It might have also been an old weapon artefact as I remember that being one of my ideas at the time. Brown middle left was a catapult shooting a melon.

Applejack

This one is simpler than the last one. I already really like applejacks design and I had less ideas but I still like this. First things first, I think it would be more fitting if Applejack was a different species of pony. Here I have her as more of a wild pony which is hairier. I have her hair as rougher and shorter coz a farmer realistically would definitely not have long hair as it would get in the way of work. That has always been something that annoys me. Her hair in the show does look very nice but it just makes no sense. I didn’t change her cutiemark much coz her cutiemark from Pony Life is almost perfect. I just changed the shape of the leaf a little bit. I did add a speckled spot on her thigh around it tho. This is reminiscent of another species of horse and I think it adds a little more detail to make her look nice. It also matches her freckles on her face.

Speaking of her freckles, I added more all over her face and ears coz anyone with freckles will know it doesn’t usually stay in one pretty place on the cheeks. I think she looks cuter this way to be honest. She has cheeks which are a little chubby which makes her look younger than she actually is. Some people have a baby face for a longer time than most and idk but I felt this fit. She looks super cute and I love it. She has a hole in one ear which makes her look a little more imperfect and it shows her tough side. It’s a scar left from her tough working days in the past. Finally, I changed her hat. Yes I know. Probably people are going to hate me for this and I do like the hat but I always felt it was a little too stereotypical. So I gave her another hat which is often used in farming; a sunhat. I think this looks nice on her as well.

Fluttershy

Yes I made a lot of changes here. I started off just wanting to draw her with braids and flowers and longer legs like her childhood self but then I thought she looked more like a deer. Tbh I prefer her as a deer coz it makes more sense. Deers are very skittish and timid so it makes perfect sense for Fluttershy. I like the little tail puff to coz it’s just so cute. Several people have drawn Fluttershy with flowers in her hair and she has even done it in the show. It makes perfect sense to me for her to have lovely flowers, seeds, twigs and saplings in her hair all the time if she is in nature all the time.

Braids make more sense to me for Fluttershy coz long hair not tied up is going to get in the way and braids take a long time but is relaxing to do. I can imagine Fluttershy just slowly and calmly enjoying making her braids in the morning. I also changed her cutiemark to an animal paw. I have always thought this would make more sense for her cutiemark although I do like the butterflies to don’t get me wrong. I have tried 2 different sets of colours here but really I had many different ideas for different combinations of these colours. What colours would you use? Which of these do you prefer? Let me know Btw she does have wings still but it’s hard to see them behind the braids.

Pinkie

It’s alpaca Pinkie! yeah I just thought it would be more fitting for her to be another animal considering I already did it for Fluttershy. Pinkie is the weird one so it makes sense if she is also a completely different species and not a very common one. Plus alpacas are friendly, like to bounce and fluffy so it’s perfect in my eyes.

She has a buck tooth coz that makes her seem more cute and imperfect which fits her personality. She has very puffy hair coz I kinda hate how Pinkie has those nonsensical curls at the ends when her hair is supposed to be super curly and puffy. Curly puffy hair just doesn’t work that way.

She has confetti stuck in her hair coz I mean puffy hair is hard to clean and she has parties all the time so it makes sense. she also has colourful spots which match the colours of the balloons in her cutiemark. A spotty colourful pattern just makes sense for bubbly party Pinkie.

I actually decided to make her a unicorn to but you can’t see her horn coz she is so fluffy. I mean she is constantly doing weird and magical things so why isn’t she a unicorn?! It also makes sense people would think she is strange coz they can’t see her horn.

Last but not least, I like her cutiemark in the show but why does it have to be 3 separate balloons when balloons are often together anyway? So I grouped them together to make one big cutiemark instead and I think it looks better. What do you think?

Rainbow

I couldn’t do much with this one coz rainbow dash is already perfect. I tried some ideas here tho and I still like the results. It’s good in its own way.

I basically focused on the sporty side of rainbow dash here as you can probably tell. I made her thicker with strong cheek bones like an actual sporty person. I also gave her sweatbands coz of course she should be wearing those if she is doing sports all the time.

I gave her shorter hair coz they get in the way when doing sports and gave her the hair she has in pony life coz it just looks better sorry not sorry.

Anyone else always bothered by the fact her hair has half of it one o half of the colours and the other half the other half of the colours? Originally her hair had red, orange and yellow on top of her head and green, blue and purple on the hair on the back of her head. I just always felt that was weird so I made her tail and head have all the colours instead.

I also thought it was always a missed opportunity with the wings to not have them rainbow feathers like this. I mean why not?! It’s perfect!

I am really happy with her new cutiemark. I kept the rainbow and lightning bolt but made it have a football in instead. She’s into football in equestrian girls so this made sense to me and I love how the design came out. What do you think?

Last but not least I even designed an accessory for her. Of course it’s not fashionable or anything. It’s just a water bottle she carries around with her to make sure she stays hydrated when exercising. Hydration is important!

Rarity

At first I had no idea how to redesign rarity coz she is already pretty dang perfectly designed for her personality. But then I had the idea of making her older and more experienced with life kinda like a fashionista which has had kids or a cougar.

So here she is. She is no longer a unicorn but an earth pony instead. I never thought she needed magic tbh. She still wants to look pretty but her fashion sense is not great and she instead is just wearing bits and bobs of things she likes which don’t go together.

Her hair is shorter as she has less time to clean and maintain it and she wants to show off her accessories more anyway. She had a handbag which is a mixture between nice looking and big so it’s practical to use.

She has purple lipstick (just in case you can’t tell coz it is kinda hard to see). I also tried giving her a different eye colour which I think still looks nice on her and is more fitting of this version of her design.

I also gave her a different cutiemark. I do like her cutiemark but it doesn’t really relate to her love of fashion much and didn’t seem fitting to my design so I made this one for her. It’s a heart which represents her generosity and it wears a hat and and an earring which represents her love of fashion. What do you think? I love this cutiemark design personally.

The accessories are pretty self explanatory but just in case (coz I’m bad at drawing objects -v-') I’m gonna explain some of them. There is a pearl necklace with a nice big green gem. There is a gold bracelet with small red gems in it.

She is wearing earrings which are supposed to be green and blue opals. It was hard to get them to look like opals do with different colours merged together but I think I ended up with a pretty good result. It’s more green and murky than I intended tho. It also was difficult coz of how small it is. Any tips for how to make something look like that?

Ranking the pulleyverse characters based on how much I like their names

Obviously this list is subjective but like. We all know that some of these are objectively true.

1.) Keita Mori: I personally think this is a top tier name. It flows well together, it fits his personality, there’s a lot of cool symbolism behind/because of it, it’s really a fantastic name for a character. No notes, 10/10.

2.) Raphael: it’s a really cool name, and I think it’s fun that he doesn’t have a set last name; it’s adds a bit of mystery to things. That and calling him Raphael TheBedlamStacks is funny as shit to me. Is it a little dramatic??? Yes, but so is he so it works. 9.5/10.

3.) Valery Kolkhanov: again, I think this name is super fun, and super creative, and it really does fit his personality well. I’m only putting it lower than Raphael because I thought his name was Valerie (English pronunciation) and I got my hopes up for the first proper female pulleyverse mc, but if that weren’t the case his name and Raphael’s would be equal. 9/10.

4.) Joe Tournier: Comparatively a pretty average name, but I have to admit the French last name sounds kinda pretty. If his name had stayed Jem Castlereigh or whatever the fuck, it would be significantly lower on this list. 8/10

5.) Konstantin Shenkov: I like this slightly less than Valery’s name because it’s a little bit clunky comparatively, but it’s definitely not a bad name. Don’t like that Konstantin is spelled like that tho, it looks a bit odd. 7/10.

6.) Aubrey/River Gale: there’s something off about these names that I really can’t put my finger on, but it’s just. Slightly off-putting to me. They’re such an ethereal person that I feel like their name should be a little. More, yknow??? If they were River Sterling that would be a different story, I like that name a lot, but River Gale sounds anticlimactic almost. 5/10.

7.) Thaniel Steepleton: this kills me. This kills me so bad. It’s no secret that he’s my favourite, my babiest of girls, but god almighty pick a different fucking nickname. It sounds so stupid. Nathaniel isn’t a bad name, it’s a bit proper but it’s definitely not a bad name, so why on god’s green earth would you remove the easiest two letters to pronounce and call that a nickname, it’s fucking stupid. And it sounds so British, it’s atrocious. 3/10. And that is ONLY because of how much I love him.

8.) January Sterling: objectively speaking, the reason behind his name is funny as fuck, but literally any other normal person would just. Go and change his name. Or let him go by his middle name. Why he decided to stick with January is beyond me. 1/10.

9.) Merrick Tremayne: it’s so British. Like. Annoyingly British. Love him to death but his name sucks so bad, and it just puts me in mind of the evil stepmother from Cinderella. RIP to the real Merrick Tremayne, you never had to get made fun of in school for how bad your name is. 0/10

10.) Missouri Kite: I cannot STAND this name istg. “Oh it’s translated-” HOW DOES A SPANISH NAME TRANSLATE INTO A WORD IN TWO SEPARATE LANGUAGES??? MISSOURI COMES FROM A NATIVE AMERICAN DIALECT IN THE MIDWEST REGION OF AMERICA, AND KITE IS A RANDOM ASS BRITISH WORD FOR A PIECE OF FLYING CLOTH, HOW THE FUCK DO THOSE COMBINE TO MAKE A NAME??? IT’S SO STUPID. -5/10.

Edit: I didn’t include Flint Kang and that was an oversight on my part, but tbh I don’t have much of an opinion. I’m going to say he’s a step below Shenkov, his name is also a little clunky but also a little nasally so it’s not as nice. 5.5/10.

Quogan with kids - Imagine how panicked/ridiculous Logan would be as Quinn’s water breaks and he has to drive her to the hospital. Or him holding her hand during labor and through the contractions.

I believe Logan would be overly attentive with Quinn's pregnancy, I think I mentioned before him buying whatever craving she has in bulks and make their friends/family rehearse what they have to do for the "big day" (yes, I am referencing Floricienta jajajja), but Quinn isn't far behind him.

I have some more headcanons for Quinn's pregnancy (I also have for them as parents, but then this post would be too long, so I'll leave that for another asks I got about the subject), remember this is settled in my Rebuilding PCA AU.

Finding out, to first Eco:

Despite having everything planned out, even when they were going to have children, the first baby came as a surprise.

I headcanon she took a test on her job. She had her suspicion about her symptoms, and had a doctor appointment in a few days, but she was too impatient to wait so she bought three pregnancy test (just to be sure) and took them on her job's bathroom.

But unexpected doesn't mean unwelcome. Quinn was very happy when she found out, definitely cried when she saw the two pink lines.

The thought of little baby, a mix of both her and Logan overwhelmed her with joy, unable to even worry if that might compromise her work at the moment.

Though she did think of it on her way home, she felt optimist. She acknowledge to herself that it will be hard and it will require more of her usual effort and focus, but she's Quinn Pensky-Reese! She's the mind of her generation, if anyone can handle an inventor's job, a school rebuilding and a pregnancy, that's her!

As soon as she got home, she went into her study and started organizing her schedule for the next months, in case the doctor confirmed it. Just to save time, time she would need later one, after all.

there was even more crying when the doctor told her that, yes, she was in fact pregnant. They settle a date for the first ecography.

Logan was the first one to know, of course. But Quinn waited until she had a doctor's confirmation before telling him, worried she'd get his hopes up only to end both disappointed.

I imagine she prepared a nice surprise dinner. He entered their home and found her waiting besides a candle lit table with his favorite dish. His first thought was wondering if he -somehow- forgot any important date, he even thinks "is it my birthday?".

But she reassured him before he even ask that she just wanted to surprise him. He notices she seems happier than usual, assuming she's about to tell him some really good news, (they know each other so well!!), tho he thinks it's probably related to the school renovation.

Her excitement took over and she couldn't wait until the end of the dinner, much to his relief because his curiosity was killing him.

She hands him a little gift box, and watches as his face changes, he goes from confusion as he opens it and takes a cute tiny PCA onesie, to realization. (note: the baby will be wearing that at some point, when Logan takes them to PCA, to show them the campus *cries*)

His eyes widens and he struggles to form words because he can't close his mouth. He's absolutely shocked.

Logan: "are you saying... we're having a baby?" and Quinn just nods excitedly, she also can't talk because she's already teary eyes.

Logan runs to hug her side, lifting her and spinning her around, so happy the protective dad mode hadn't kicked on yet lol.

He wants to tell everyone immediately, but she tells him it would be better to wait for the first eco, which would be after her first trimestre is completed, and explains to him all about those things (because you know she researched before the doctor appointment and also filled the doctor with questions lol)

He listens attentively because he wants to be aware about everything related to their little bundle of joy.

They're so annoying at the hospital for the eco, but the doctor is incredibly patient (bless them), despite them spilling question after question.

Quinn's scientific curiosity is in full swing as she bombards the ultrasound technician with a million questions about the technology and procedure.

Thankfully for the doctor, they shut up as soon as their baby shows up on the screen, as well as the first time they hear their heartbeat.

(little angsty headcanon: they were both terrified of not hearing a heartbeat, it made them anxious and afraid, they're first time parents after all, they're fucking scared *cries intensifies*)

As the doctor shows them the baby's hands and feet and nose and all that, Logan makes comments like "they're gonna have your nose!" or "oh, you're gonna be a such a heartbreaker, just like your dad"

He mostly tries to make Quinn laugh, and to ease both of their nervous.

The doctor asks if they want to know the gender of the bay, but they decide to save that for the baby shower, so they get it written down in an envelopment instead.

The technician offers to print out a few ultrasound pictures for them, where the gender of their baby could not be visible (already sensing these two would spend a lot of time looking at them and Quinn would definitely figure it out). Quinn practically squeals with delight, already envisioning how she'll document and cherish these precious snapshots. Logan grins, imagining himself showing off the pictures to anyone who will listen, beaming with pride.

As they leave the doctor's office, Quinn can't help but walk a little lighter, her hand resting protectively over her growing belly. Logan wraps an arm around her, pulling her close, his protective mode also activating on that moment

On the way home, they can't resist the urge to stop at a baby store. They fill the car with stuffed animals, and nursery decorations. They also pick out a few gender-neutral outfits, happily imagining their little one wearing them.

When they get home (after Logan settled all the heavy stuff they brought inside their home, because he's not letting her carry anything heavy ever again), they sit in the coach and spread the ultrasound pictures on the coffee table, looking at them and pointing little details they notice about their baby.

Announcement:

After indulging on this little moment, they finally call their friends and family to let them know the news. First their parents (Lyric was in the same room as Logan's parents, so she found out at the same time)

Their parent's are overjoyed, it's going to be the first grandchild in both families, with Quinn being an only child and Logan the first of Malcolm's children to be a parent (I'm still not sure Logan's older brother exist, but either way, first grandkid bc I say so), and at the end of the calls they promise to set a dinner to celebrate this news soon.

When Lyric hears the news, she raises an eyebrow and gives a nonchalant shrug, trying to maintain her composure. Deep down, however, she can't help but feel a surge of excitement and anticipation. She may not show it openly, but Lyric secretly starts researching the best auntie gifts and cool, trendy baby clothes. She's determined to be the "chillest" aunt, effortlessly blending her coolness with her newfound role.

Of their friends, the first to know were Lola and Michael, argue with the wall.

Lola squeals at the news, already declaring herself the best aunt this baby would have (Lyric would disagree if she was there, but whatever), she cracks a few jokes at Logan's expenses probably, I imagine their friendship still has that banter, like they pretend they still dislike each other. Something like, "I'm sure your baby will have enough of you to make up for the parts it gets from Logan" (english is failing me lol, but you get it), and tells them she would host the baby shower. Organizing event is still not much her thing, but she's too excited.

Michael is over the moon, and tells them he'd gladly conduct their baby shower, and tells them he already thought of baby names ideas. They tell them Lola already offered and he says he'll call her to let her help (Lola would probably let him do most of the job lol)

I just know this news would give Zoey and Chase another age/relationship crisis, but let's not focus on that for this. They're happy for their friends. They also offer to help with the baby shower, but Logan is quick to reject them lol. Though Quinn explains Michael and Lola are already on that, so they don't feel bad.

Pregnant Quinn:

Quinn becomes a walking encyclopedia during her pregnancy. She dives deep into researching every stage of fetal development and reads every book on pregnancy she can get her hands on. She's determined to understand every aspect of what's happening to her body and her growing baby.

Quinn's scientific mind goes into overdrive as she starts experimenting with various homemade remedies and concoctions to alleviate pregnancy symptoms

She creates her own natural remedies for morning sickness, swollen feet, and stuff, much to the amusement and amazement of her friends.

I like to keep a bit of the ridiculousness from the show into this, so I hc Quinn's pregnancy hormones send her emotions on a rollercoaster ride. She goes from crying over commercials to laughing uncontrollably at the slightest joke. Her friends and Logan learn to navigate this emotional whirlwind, providing comfort and support whenever she needs it.

Quinn's genius mind starts coming up with innovative inventions specifically designed for pregnancy. She designs a pillow that perfectly supports her growing belly while she sleeps, a wearable device that tracks fetal movements, and even a smart app that monitors her baby's health.

Her pregnancy cravings are a mix of the expected and the totally unexpected. One day, she craves pickles and ice cream, and the next, she insists on eating spaghetti with hot sauce and gummy worms.

As her due date approaches, Quinn becomes hyper-organized. She starts prepping freezer meals, organizing the nursery down to the tiniest detail, and even creating a hospital bag checklist for both her and Logan. She wants everything to be perfectly in place for their baby's arrival.

I like to thinks Quinn's love for science extends to documenting her pregnancy journey. She takes weekly belly pictures, meticulously tracks her weight gain, and even keeps a journal where she writes letters to her unborn baby. While she is treating it like a study, she also wants to capture every precious moment and memory for their little one to look back on.

Quinn's intelligence and curiosity lead her to attend every prenatal class their schedule allows, along with Logan ofc. She becomes the star student, asking insightful questions and even offering her own scientific explanations for certain topics. She kinda annoys the other parents on the classes, but the dirty look Logan gives the when they try to say something shuts them up.

Despite her scientific approach to pregnancy, Quinn also embraces the magical and emotional side of it all. She loves feeling her baby's kicks and hiccups, cherishes every ultrasound appointment, and eagerly awaits the moment she can hold her little one in her arms.

She loves talking to her baby, telling them about how their little body is developing and what awaits them and stuff.

She hopes their little one is a science fan like her, so she also tells them of science in general, specially while she works on her quinnventions, explaining the process to her belly.

No matter how many research she went through, the birth terrifies her, truth be told. She's a first time mother after all, how could she not. The thoughts of all the things that could go wrong filling her mind.

But she endures it, holding tight to Logan's hand. She keeps pushing and pushing until they finally hear the baby's cry.

All the pain and fear melting away the moment he baby is placed in her arms, she cries happily as she caresses their cheeks and coos at them, calming the babies' crying.

the sobbing doesn't stop even when the baby calms down and the doctors take them away to clean them and weight them, neither her or Logan taking their eyes off their child, even when he leans down to kiss her forehead, whispering sweet words at her.

Daddy-to-be Logan:

From the moment Quinn tells Logan she's pregnant, he can't contain his excitement. He starts researching everything about pregnancy and parenting, creating boards filled with nursery ideas, baby names, and parenting hacks.

He creates an elaborate color-coded pregnancy planner. It includes doctor's appointments, prenatal classes, and even a detailed birth plan. He wants everything to be perfectly planned and scheduled for the arrival of their little one.

He takes it upon himself to fulfill every single one of her cravings. He becomes her "master chef", whipping up all sorts of weird food combinations she asks for, even if it means making a peanut butter and pickle sandwich at 3 a.m.

Logan insists on attending every doctor's appointment with Quinn, taking copious notes and asking the doctor a million questions. He's determined to be the most involved and informed dad ever.

As Quinn's baby bump grows, Logan becomes the ultimate protector. He's constantly fretting over her well-being, making sure she doesn't lift heavy objects, and even wrapping her in bubble wrap (metaphorically) to ensure nothing happens to their little one.

Logan starts talking to Quinn's baby bump, telling stories, singing lullabies, and even playing his favorite songs. He's convinced the baby can hear him and wants to establish a bond before they even arrive.

But he does not neglects Quinn, he pays just as much attention to her.

When it comes to baby shopping, Logan goes all out. He insists on buying the most comfy and safe stroller, the comfiest crib, and the cutest baby clothes. He spends hours meticulously researching and comparing products, determined to provide the best for his little family.

Logan becomes a master at assembling baby furniture... after many fails. He spends countless afternoons putting together the crib until he figures out how that thing works, changing tables, and rocking chairs. He'd usually hire someone to do the job for him, but he wanted to do this himself, no matter how frustrating it became, it was worth it.

As Quinn's due date approaches, Logan becomes a nervous wreck. He's constantly checking his phone, ready to rush to the hospital at a moment's notice. He even has a fully packed hospital bag prepared for both Quinn and himself, complete with snacks, a change of clothes, and a camera to capture every moment.

When the day finally arrives, Logan is a ball of nerves and excitement. He paces the hospital waiting room, wearing a path into the floor, until finally, he gets the news that Quinn is in labor.

He practically sprints to her side, holding her hand and whispering words of encouragement throughout the whole process.

And when their little bundle of joy finally enters the world, Logan's heart swells with love and pride. He can't help but cry tears of joy, overwhelmed with emotions as he holds his baby for the first time, promising to be the best dad they could ever ask for.

It's definitely the happiest day of their life, and once home, they can hardly take their eyes off their baby, so thankful to have them there, unable to contain the infinite amount of love their feel for them.

I think I got a bit carried away tho lol, that's what 6h worth of travel and no internet does to someone bored on the notes app I guess lol

You catch sight of her in the distance, rushing towards you, her headphones barely stuffed into that overly-decorated backpack. Every step echoes with the jingle of a dozen keychains and pins, announcing her presence like a warning bell. She's definitely more fidgety than usual, and her dark circles seem darker– no doubt the aftereffects of another late night. You've heard all about her thesis and her sworn vendetta against the university's computers. You can practically hear her voice: “I swear, the university servers are run on potatoes. My old PC is a supercomputer by comparison!”

Typical engineering student– powered by coffee and, occasionally, spite. She'd probably laugh if you teased her about the stress, eyes lighting up in that way they do when she's preparing to fire back, “Shear, tensile, or fatigue?”

She reaches you, breathless, her all-black outfit blending with the gloomy weather. Today, she's bundled up in that enormous faux-fur coat. The only speck of colour you see on her is actually from her hair, messy red-dyed streaks and racoon tails she dyed herself on impulse.

“I swear I left the house on time! Public transport fucked me again!” She says with a grin that flashes a glimpse of her sharp canines. As she speaks, her fingers find their usual targets– first picking absentmindedly at the skin around her nails, then moving to fidget with the ring she always wears. It's a telltale sign: disrupted routines make her restless, you know. That's when you notice her nails, usually painted in her signature metallic cherry, are a chipped pink pearl instead. It's rare to see her change colours, and given the already peeling polish, you figure she was either too busy to apply the top coat– or too stressed to care.

You shrug, pulling your bag off the canteen seat you saved, waving her worry away. It's lucky to even have a spot here with the recent swarm of first-years flooding the place, and you can already tell she's relieved.

She drops into the seat, immediately digging into her bag for her Tupperware, and just the scent alone– sweet, buttery, familiar– makes you salivate. You're in luck, she made her famous scones this time. You don't even get the chance to thank her before she shoves one into your hands, insisting you take it without a second thought.

As she settles into the seat, her tension seems to ease slightly. She sighs, taking in the lively chaos of the canteen around you. You notice her shoulders relax as she tucks a few red-streaked strands behind her ear, where her earrings –a mix of hoops, charms, and mismatched studs– dangle with every slight movement. She glances around, her big glasses framing bright blue-grey eyes that pop against her heavy eyeliner, giving her gaze an intense, almost electric focus.

“God, I needed a break,” she mutters, more to herself than to you, but then she turns back, studying you with that familiar glint in her eye. She takes a slow, deliberate bite of her scone, a hum of satisfaction slipping out, before raising an eyebrow at you. “So,” she begins, leaning in like she's about to reveal a big secret, “you've gotta tell me– have the scones been perfected?”

“If this is another recipe experiment, you know I'm not the only one who wants to be a test subject,” you laugh, reaching for another one. "But yes, they're even better than last time."

“Test subject? Please,” she scoffs playfully, flashing her signature toothy grin. “I prefer the term ‘lab rats'– though yes, you and the others are all my little testers.” She gives a dramatic roll of her eyes, a mock sigh of pity. “The things you all endure for the sake of science.”

You can't help but grin too, taking a bite of the scone while she watches you, her expression one of amused concentration. She may not say it, she isn't one to pour out affection in words, but you've learned to read between the lines of her cooking. This is her way of showing that she considers you a friend– testing her creations on you, perfecting each recipe like it's a lab experiment and you're her chosen subject.

Ok so, I ask a lot about our favorite boi (Centi... my Beloved...) however I was wondering if you have any interesting thoughts about other characters in the castle (Which, assuming is similar to canon and is only Sunvent).

As a result I have three big questions! One, which is based on almost every universe having eclipse drinking massive amounts of tea, does he like tea/ can eat? Two, does he interact with the world's inhabitants outside of when eclipse does, and does he enjoy it when he does (even if eclipse is there?)

finally three, since in most AU it is explained that the reason eclipse isn't rotting from the star power is because he is using something else as a conduit (a servant, since every surviving lord has a servant). does eclipse use sun as a conduit system, and how do you head canon that effects him?

if these are completely irrelevant its totally fine if you can only answer one or two (or if you just feel like answering a bit of this, I'm just happy to brain rot in the Centi box)

1) I think technically Lord Eclipse could eat/drink (nanobots and/or star power stuff) but I think he simply chooses not to unless it's for dramatic effect, yk? (hence the lack of mouth) Like, I drew him with a wine glass one time, but it was definitely just for dramatic effect and to seem like he's "casual" in the situation rather than to actually enjoy it LOL

2) I'm assuming you mean Sunvant here and in that case: yes, he does actually interact with the other followers a good bit and yes, I'd say he usually enjoys it(and probably especially with Lord Eclipse there)! Or, like, during the earlier years at least. Since Sun was basically Lord Eclipse's right-hand, he was regarded with as much respect as Eclipse himself! His very presence was like a morale boost LOL

But, I think that as Lord Eclipse started to become less and less sociable, Sun started to be recognized less as "the saint" and more "the favorite" which led to colder or outright cruel treatment from some. He still goes out and interacts with other people, but a good outing is no longer defined by how many people he helps and instead by how many people don't outright taunt him </3

3) OH YESYES I'VE HEARD OF THAT IDEA !!! Anima Sola was my first introduction to the concept and it is so cool to me LMAO 🙏 I don't think Sunvant is used as a conduit in this world tho?? Maybe. I dunno that might be subject to change now actually LOL

I feel like if Centiclipse did use Sun in such a way, there wouldn't be too too much change?? or. well. mmm??? Not too much change in the dynamic, but maybe a bit of change in what is focused on, if that makes any sense.

Lord Eclipse telling Sun that if he wants to stay his servant and hold onto such a power, then he needs to act like it(not that he would ever get rid of Sun, he needs him too much). Sun being horrified at his own fantasies of finding a way to rip out the connection between him and Eclipse. OOO maybe certain dissenters would try to kill Sun in hopes of taking down Eclipse.....

i'll be up front with you mate and say that i'm stoked te FUCK for the remake. i have actually not watched the new trailer, i have not watched any new gameplay videos, i have not played the demo. i have not read any new articles and i have hardly kept up with the news at all. i watched the first couple of trailers including the Maria, Angela, and Eddie reveals and then stopped.

it looks beautiful. i can't fucking wait to be back in my foggy little town.

that said, i have my concerns -- tho my concerns actually don't align with the popular ones that're around, lmao. i'm not worried about Angela or Maria or Eddie or Laura or Mary or James yet. personally, i can't give a shit until i have the controller in my hands and i'm playing it for myself. i refuse to judge and i refuse to engage in extended commentary or debate about the characters until i get to have my own experience and have time to absorb it. (tho of course i am extremely concerned about a misogynistic or sexist james but i'm definitely keeping a lid on the worries lol.)

so my actual concerns? well.. i'm chinhands at some of the nurse redesigns, i'm not gonna lie. squinting a little hard at a couple of them, mainly because of (what appears to be absolutely 100% clear) fanservice and oversexualization because HEHE LOOK IT'S THE SH2 BOOBY NURSES. like yes we all know that masahiro ito is perpetually horny but come on.

when watching the maria reveal trailer, the one thing that REALLY bugged me about it were the sun shafts through the windows. like.. what the fuck. are those bright-ass sun shafts DOING coming in thru the windows. like can i help you?? hello it's super foggy outside why are there YELLOW SUN SHAFTS coming in thru the WINDOWS????

.. and then i thought about it. because, well like: what if it's a projection from James. what if those sun shafts are halluncations; what if he's reaching for hope (despite this being a hospital) in a place that's supposed to provide hope (despite this being a hospital and a place where, yanno, his wife definitely did not receive hope) and so he imagines sun shafts being there because that's what he expects from the imagery. what if it's an illusion provided by Maria?; or what if it's a reflection of the EARLY days of Mary's illness when he and Mary HAD hope that there would be a cure and thus sun shafts on a spring or summer day thru the windows light up the room and provide hope, and he's reflecting back on that because he's currently in silent hill hoping to find his dead wife.

sooooo y'see?? while there are some head-scratching details going on in what i've chosen to look at so far, the concern i had about fucking inexplicable sun shafts thru the windows can actually be explained. but also i'm a fucking psychology nerd and i live and breathe and foam at the mouth about this shit. i fucking LOVE symbolism and i WILL be breathing heavily and chewing my hands.

but just do your best to NOT play the game with ANY expectations. and PLEASE!! remember that first impressions, while of COURSE very important, are not the end-all. they are only the FIRST IMPRESSIONS; your opinion can change. your viewpoints and consideration can change.

so when you play the game for the first time, stop. don't build any solid feelings about it yet unless something REALLY gets you. sleep on it. digest it. keep an open mind and go back to to play the game AGAIN, because --

Hello Freya! I feel like the most horrible person in the world, let me tell you (I am sorry this is long but my friends are no use and I need help):

My boyfriend Andy (33) is a heavily tattooed, pierced and divorced man, I only knew that he and his ex were married for 10 years, never had children and are on bad terms, I come from a very religious and conservative family, so even when I (30) am nor a virgin I still haven’t slept with my boyfriend, we have been together for four months, he makes me very happy but neither my family or friends like him because he’s not the “perfect man” stereotypical person, physically at lest, and they hate that he’s divorced (we met almost a year after he got divorced so I don’t really understand the problem here), he knows he’s not accepted and I try to change my family and friends view of him but it’s hard, still try to show him that I don’t care about it and that I love him. The problem is that the day before yesterday I went to sleep at his house for time (we live 2 hours away from each other, in a different state but he still drives every day or two to see me), we went out with a copule of his old school friends and I drank a little bit (not drunk at all not even tipsy, this was the first time I drank in front of him) and I noticed they reacted weirdly even tho they were doing the same and my boyfriend was constantly texting, after a while he relaxed and completely forgot about his phone, we got to his house early in the morning (like 5 something am) and went directly to sleep, about at 11 am we got woken up by someone desperately knocking at his door, we went to see and when he opened the door a couple (his friend Jake and his wife Carmen) were extremely worried and desperate, his friend immediately started checking on him while his wife Carmen placed herself between me and my boyfriend and she looked at me with so much anger, Andy was trying to calm Jake and I was very confused until I heard Andy tell Jake that he was having fun and forgot about his phone and that’s why he didn’t continue texting, that we were good and they didn’t have to worry about him because knew now he was safe with me, thats when I stated asking questions, my bf was trying to change the subject but his friend’s wife Carmen showed me her phone with their group chat, it turns out he thought I wasn’t physically attracted to him because of the lack of sexual activity and because I rejected his advances twice (one before dating and the other in the first week), also he got very scared when I started drinking because his ex wife was a drunk and used to physically abuse him badly whenever she drank so seeing me drink triggered him, when I looked up to see him he was crying begging me to let him explain and not leave him, I thanked his friends for loving him and protecting him and assured them he was in fact safe with me, when they left my boyfriend told me all about his trauma and OMG he lived an actual hell and unknowingly I did or said lots of things that triggered him or reminded him of how his ex used to act but I never hurt him or even intended too, I feel so bad about this bit IDK how to make it ok, his friends and parents hate me because they thought I knew and was doing it on purpose to keep him scared and use his money (according to Jake, although after he and his wife left they seemed a little bit happier with me and both Jake and Carmen started following me on Ig after?), my bf has been crying and sad the whole day and IDK what to do.

Okay, this is a handful and while it’s nice that his friends care about him, they really crossed so many boundaries here.

The fact that your boyfriend has trauma due to previous relationship sucks but it’s up to him to open up about it and tell you if he is feeling triggered or not. There is no reason for Jake and Carmen to come to his house uninvited and tell you about his trauma without your bf consent and definitely not aggressively come between the two of you. They can advise him privately but doing what they did is not acceptable. He is not in a life threatening situation and whatever problems you two are dealing with is up to you.

If your boyfriend is sad you need to talk about it together. You and him also need to make it clear to his friends that while you appreciate their concern, this is between you to solve.

how do you go about plotting your stories? :P

i always say that i’m a bit of a chaotic planner! i mention it a lot, but i have severely bad adhd, so things with me are a bit of organized chaos (except with the zine, i run that shit like the fucking marines man).

so basically since it starts off chaotic, i tend to kind of brain dump all my ideas into my doc (i use notion for planning), so like all the potential plot points scene ideas i may want, and then i tend to order them in a way that makes sense chronologically!

for one shots, i’ll be a bit more detailed bc i don’t do a lot of extra planning outside of my outline since it’s ONLY the one shot, but sometimes it’s even as simple as this! (from the wedding planner x baker au)

it’s not very eloquently written bc it’s just for me, so i don’t waste time making sure it’s in full sentences lol, it’s like me talking to myself! so i just write a bit chaotic lol but it’s what i find works for me, and im able to fill in the gaps! and here’s another example LOL (a spoiler sorta from the cowboy x model au!) like i said, they’re severely unserious, but it’s what works for me!! but this is how i do my one shot ones, just bc i outline them in their entirety and im not writing full length sentences i don’t have fucking time for that with my minimal attention span having ass 😭

BUT! for the e2l au and the bodyguard au!! i definitely did a lot more planning which is why it’s taken me so much longer to put them out 😭 with dol, which i’ve emphasized MANY times, i wrote it for shits and giggles and so i was like oh! like i should’ve been a bit more organized, which for the most part i’ve done PRETTY well, considering i wasn’t initially but i definitely wanted to be more prepared with these two!!

so for both of the fics, i have them set up like this! there’s three little sections and i can kinda explain how i organized each one!

outline: that’s the overall fic outline, i basically started it how i mentioned above, i brain dumped all my ideas and then made it into a mostly cohesive chronological order! for multi chapter fics tho i get rlly overwhelmed tho if i super intensely outline bc sometimes i change my mind, so i have a MOSTLY SOLID idea of the overall plot give or take some minor decisions (which is why the whole first kiss thing in the bodyguard au i said i wasn’t 100% sure on yet bc i could still change my mind lol). so i outline chapter by chapter going based off the overall big outline, and choosing from the scenes i wanted to do, and maybe any ideas y’all suggest too! so like some things ARE subject to change, but like for sure most things (like in dol the whole fire thing) i ALWAYS know would happen

details: for both fics, to make sure i kept the characterizations consistent, i wrote down everything about eren and mikasa and their character goals and traits for both au’s! and then specifically for the e2l au, i wrote out their feelings and thoughts about the breakup and how they both thought about one another as to make sure i kept those consistent!!! when writing mc fics it’s really easy to kind of stray away from characterization (at least for me bc i write a bunch of stuff at once) so i wanted to make sure i had something to refer to if i ever needed to!!

extras: bc i realized i enjoyed having quotes/chapter titles, i basically pre chose all of those just to save myself some time later on bc im indecisive as fuck lol so if was to help future me

basically i think everyone has a super different process!! i love hearing about all my writer moots writing processes bc we’re all really different! some of my moots have very detailed processes which i admire, bc im not like that at all, but i’ve found this works for me and the way my brain works! it’s a mix of organization but not in a way that stresses me out or overwhelms me!

but also sometimes like the cabin fic i’ll just say to hell with it write a fic on a whim and not plan for shit except knowing i wanna write those five individual scenes so im nothing if not a mess also, but yea sorry for talking your ear off, i always say being concise is not something i can ever do LOL i hope this answers your question tho!! 😭

"Just as [Twilight] got a second to contemplate this, three explosions rang out across the clearing, throwing off his balance a little as he scrambled to pinpoint the origin, only to see an electric arrow wiz right over his shoulder, barely missing him as the hair on his neck stood straight up. He whirled around, catching a glimpse of a figure descending with a paraglider. Once they were about twenty feet off of the ground, they let go and fell like a deadweight, landing in a crouch as they met the fight head-on in a blaze of glory and golden braids that caught the moonlight just right." - A current WIP entitled "Flight of the Wilds" (subject to change)

I think the prompt was asking for a piece of currently published writing and I can add that if you guys want later, but I figured I'd treat you both with my current Revalink WIP 💛 It's also a LU fic, but that's not the point lol. This doesn't even begin to cover the premise of the oneshot, as it's projected to be about 30,000+ words. I wrote most of it on paper (crying it's thirty-two pages front and back and IM NOT EVEN DONE), so you better believe a lot is getting changed as I type it out lol.

This is very early on in the oneshot when Twilight reunites with Wild for the first time. The Chain is getting ambushed by a hoard of monsters and Wild comes by and helps them. In this, he's definitely picked up a lot of his archery skills from Revali, hence the signature three bomb arrows. He's still not nearly as good at the Rito himself, though! :D hehe

This sequence likely won't change any more than it already has, as the beginning doesn't need a whole lot of work anymore imo. It didn't used to be nearly as epic, though. Originally, the scene is a lot more Twilight-centric (as the story is told from his POV), but I changed it because it didn't focus nearly enough on Wild as it really should have for his introduction scene??? Idk what I was thinking tbh. Didn't even address how Wild even got there fr, which is why I made him glide down from his paraglider like the BAMF he is lmaooooo The blond braids stayed the whole time, tho 👍 That, I can assure you lol

34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:

As someone who perhaps uses commas where they ought not be, I use the Oxford comma in my writing almost religiously and I find it hard to read anything that does not contain it lol.

As someone who is learning Spanish, though, (which does not make use of the Oxford comma, like, at all) it is a very hard habit to break, but I am working on it! lol

Synopsis: Hawks and you dated for at least 2 years. He tells your parents about his past and he’s worried they won’t accept him.

You and Hawks have be dating for a while now. He met your parents about a year into the relationship, along with telling you his past but not your parents. He thinks your parents are great but problem is that they are both police officers and he thought they probably be dissatisfied knowing that their child is dating a criminal’s son.

Hawks maybe a confident goose but Keigo is not. Outside of work he really insecure about things like his relationship with you. He’s always worried that you might get kidnapped or he doesn’t spend enough time with you because of his work. He loves you, there’s no hesitation there but he always thinks he doesn’t do enough for you.

He was contemplating whether he should tell your parents about his past. His thought was probably a good idea to tell them on his own accord rather that some other person, *cough* *cough* Dabi *cough* telling them and them thinking he was hiding things from them. That doesn’t stop how nerve racking it was tho.

Talking about his past was always a sore subject for Hawks. Beside he’s sort of disobeying the commission with you dating him and knowing his secrets, not that he cared.

“Babe~ nothing will happen?”

“What if your parents thinks I’m a sh*tty *ss hat that just dating you to take advantage of you or something????” He said walking back and forth in your shared apartment, well more like your apartment that he decided to call home(it’s nice to have a place where the commission can’t monitor him.)

“Honey bird, first of all don’t curse so much. Second, you met my parents, do you really think that there that shallow to believe just because your past you be a crap person?”

“When you putt it like that it does sound stupid.” He said as he’s wings dropped a little lower.

“It’s not stupid, I get your nervous but there not need to worry~” you said as you walk up to him and kissed his cheek, “now my parents would be here anytime now, so if you feel like this is too much then you don’t need to tell them.”

“I fall more I love with everyday baby~” he cooed and hugged you.

“Oh hush.” You said as the bell rang.

It was your parents, they greeted you and hawks. It was a nice little dinner and you guys had a great conversation about work. Hawks was great at hiding his nervousness but you could tell by how tightly he was holding on your thigh, it wasn’t painful but you definitely feel the pressure.

Eventually you changed the subject to family stuff, it was mostly about you and when you were little. You wanted to give hawks a chance to talk about it or to choose to not.

“So what was your childhood like?” The dreaded question finally came out of your mother’s mouth. She was smiling but hawks was only thinking of millions ways that this can go wrong.

“Welll…. It wasn’t the best….” Hawks said and briefly mentioned his childhood.

How he had villain for a dad, how he grew up poor but he left out most of the commission involvement in his early life. Your mother understandably started crying and your father was comforted her.

“Oh my god, you poor baby!!! If there anything we can do name it! You’re our family now that you’re dating our child.” Your mother said sobbing.

“Thank you Ms. L/N. I just didn’t want sercerts between us. I was kind of worried if someone to exposes this and stuff you wouldn’t have trusted me to take care of them.” Hawks said in relief.

By the end of the night Hawks grew a little closer to your family. You were happy to be with him and he was happy to be with you. There’s nothing more that you can ask for.

this challenge seems like fun so i thought i'd participate yay :) catching up and hopefully doing it daily afterwards ^^

Day 1: Happy April Fool’s! Have you ever pranked your TC; if so, how did they react? nope and i don't think i ever would. i just don't have the guts to prank teachers (or even friends) haha

Day 2: What is the earliest thing you can remember about your TC? oh god i love this memory pahahaha i was new in class (i changed schools two weeks after the year started) and the very first lesson was J's religion lesson. i remember him talking about Jesus smoking weed and being high or something and at first I thought “where the hell did i land here” lmao😭 so my first impression of him was like "who tf is this guy and what did he smoke"

Day 3: Do you like your TC’s subject? Do you consider yourself to be good at it? hmm with him as a teacher i do like it because, as i mentioned before, he teaches religion, but it feels more like philosophy. and i definitely prefer the latter haha seeing as philosophy (and religion) are very subjective topics, i can't be objectively good at it. when comparing myself to my classmates i would say i'm more interested in philosophy, books by philosophers and all the ideas than them. that doesn't make me good at it tho, so unfortunately there's no answer for that sdlkghsldkg

Day 4: How do you feel about your age gap? it's a pretty normal age gap for a student and a teacher to have i guess slkdghsldkgh (our age gap is approximately around 35 years)

Day 5: Have you ever said anything to your TC that showed you favoured them? Have they said anything like that to you? in our conversation on teams, i mentioned that i really liked his lessons and his way of teaching. in his reply, he thanked me for it and said that's most important to him. :) i don't know the exact wording, but i can dig up the message and post it if anyone's interested

Day 6: Have you ever noticed any small habits that they have? If so, what comes to mind first? J is ALWAYS so confused and really aloof. like, that man can't hold a thought for a second. if you ask him a question, be prepared for a ramble that goes on for half an hour without ever mentioning the topic of your question again. it's so funny honestly😭

Day 7: What gift would you really like to be able to give them, regardless of if it’s realistic or not? okay. man. this is really fucking weird. please don't think i'm weird😭 also not exactly a gift, i'd want it back haha buuut i've always thought how i so desperately want to give him my little notebooks i carry everywhere which are diaries, poetry collections, just my thoughts scrabbled out on paper. i want him to understand me and by reading these notebooks, he would. as a real gift, i think a book annotated by me would be nice, i just want him to see my thoughts about books he's read too

Day 8: Does your TC ever talk about what it was like when they were still a student? he did, once. he told us how he had no idea what he wanted to do after school and how he was actually a really bad student. i really felt him in that moment slkghsghslk

Day 9: Does your TC have a significant other? If so, what do you know about them and how do you feel about them? yesss he has a wife and they've been married for a reaaaally long time i think. i saw her once with him at our school prom, they were sitting on the table next to us, and both of us were eating. at the time, i avoided him and tried to act like i didn't see him in hopes of him not noticing me lol. about his wife - if he talks about her, it's only ever positive so i can imagine she's really nice. :)

Day 10: What is the longest time you have gone without seeing them? of course the usual summer break, but actually right now! he had a pretty bad skiing accident around the start of february, so i haven't seen him since then. if everything's good, i'll hopefully see him again on friday! but it actually made me really sad that i didn't see J for so long because i promised myself i would try to talk to him before i never saw him again. i know he sometimes talks to students who stay behind after his lessons, sometimes for a really long time, and especially after the awkward end of our conversation on teams i really really want to have a long and thorough conversation with him just once. i don't really have a lot of possibilities anymore, time is running out, so i'll have to be brave and find an opportunity and then actually talk to him haha. wish me luck, i'll surely make more posts about this lol
