Hiiiiiii!

🌈It took me for-freaking-ever to figure out how I wanted to write my Blackwall backstory fic, Demons, A History. Normally, I'm a outline once, write a draft, check for spelling, and post kinda gal. But this fic didn't want to get outlined. It refused. So finally I made two columns. Past and present. Wrote a sentence for each 'demon' (chapter) and said Let's Fucking Go. It finally worked though, and I'm happy with the result

🧿I have been doing this for a very long time. I posted my first fanfic in 2004, back before there were kudos or hit counts. And the only way you knew anyone was reading your fic was if they left a comment. That helps a lot. It also helps knowing that with a few popular exceptions (hello Wangxian) I'm usually writing more unusual pairings. Like Django/Builder? SEVEN FICS TOTAL AND FOUR OF THEM ARE MINE. Or I'm choosing OCs that get overlooked. I'm very aware that I'd be a much more popular DA writer if I didn't main a Cadash. But I refuse to change that. When it comes down to it, if I'm cooking my own food, I'm not going to be upset if you pass because you're not a fan of of the seasoning I used!

💌I am working on a post-game Gale/Penny fic where Penny can't answer Gale's proposal yet, because it's written into her warlock contract that her patron has final approval on anyone she chooses to wed. Her patron is going to make Gale work for that yes
