man, I keep thinking, do people in the wizarding world just don't know at all about science? or something even adjacent that teaches them about their body? there's potions for chemistry i suppose(even that is a stretch, chem has a lot more), and maybe a little math before they're 10 and physics basically doesn't exist so ig it doesn't matter, but what about biology?? do they not know how their body works at all? like what organs they have and what to do or not do? they don't teach you stuff like that so young

Hey everyone, this is Bisan from Gaza. It's the day 69 after hundred of the genocide and the day 13 of the holy month of Ramadan.

And it's the day six of the besieging and invading of Al Shifa hospital, attacking the hospital, the displaced people inside, the doctors and the injuries by the israeli army and the israeli soldiers, the israeli tanks and bulldozers.

So for those who don't know, people are either inside one building of Shifa complex buildings, without water, without food, without the ability to move anywhere or to get outside that building and to be executed.

And talking about execution today, Muhammad al-Nunu, he is a doctor. The israeli army executed Muhammad al-Nunu because he refused to leave the unit that he is working in and refused to leave his patients and preferred to stay to complete their treatment because a lot of the ICU, of the intensive care unit patients died, passed away because there is no electricity, there is no food, there is no staff, there is bombing and burning for the hospital utilities.

So he refused to leave them and he was executed. He was killed in front of the people, in front of the patients. This is what is happening now in Al Shifa hospital.

It is a hospital and this is happening to them.

Thousands of people, women, children and innocent men and civilians are stuck in a building, in Al Shifa hospital without food, without water.

They started to drink the hospital storage saline solutions. It's the only liquids that they have.

And no one is talking about that. No one, no media, not enough media, no government, no one is talking about this.

And this is not the only horrific thing that happened today in the north of Gaza Strip, by the way, today between ten to 20 people were killed by the israeli shooting on the liquid roundabout while they were waiting for their humanitarian aid.

They were waiting for food because they're starving to death. In the north of Gaza Strip, in Ramadan months, they were waiting for food and they were killed by the israeli army.

How many times we need to scream more about that?

The north of Gaza Strip is under attack like it was the first days of this genocide. Exactly.

They are brutally killed and bombed. It is a hospital with thousands of innocent people, medical staff, injuries, civilians, and they are starved - to death. They are without water, without treatment

They are bleeding in front of each other until the death. And everyone is out of the building executed by snipers or inside starving to death.

This is what is happening now inside Al Shifa Hospital now, at this moment, for six days.

16th November - The Hospital Wing - @wolfstarmicrofic - word count: 170

It was dark and cold. Snow swirled outside the window panes. The fire had died behind the grate and Remus' breath was mist on air as he very slowly opened his eyes.

The tang of tinctures and potions, astringent and clean, told him where he was before his eyesight adjusted to the dark.

But still he was confused, the panic setting in just as it always did, when the beast still lingered and the boy couldn't remember the things he feared he'd had done when he'd lost himself to the full moon.

"Padfoot?" Remus croaked, automatic, a name in the dark, a plea without thinking, raw and laid bare by the wolf. "Sirius?"

"It's alright," a voice came from somewhere to his left. A dark shape emerged, hair falling about his face, familiar grey eyes, a soft smile.

Sirius reached out, his hand found Remus' and very tenderly he held it, a gesture they'd never care to remember or mention when the night had passed.

And Sirius whispered, "I'm here."

Prompt 13 - Moon

Sirius had never tracked the moon before. He’d never seen the point. But over the last few months, he’d noticed something odd. Remus always seemed to be sick or visiting his sick mother when the moon was full. 

Remus had excused himself earlier, mumbling something about a stomach ache, and disappeared through the portrait hole. Sirius had waited until the rest of the castle was sleeping and, borrowing James’s cloak, snuck down to the silent hospital wing. 

He checked every bed and the private rooms at the back twice. Remus was not in the hospital wing. He ended up waiting the rest of the night, falling asleep on one of the visitor chairs in the corner, just in case Remus had gone for a wander. 

He was startled awake when Remus stumbled in, held up by Madam Pomfrey. He watched in horror as Madam Pomfrey bandaged the deep wounds spread across Remus’s body.

“Take your potion, dear,” Madam Pomfrey said gently as she patted Remus’s arm and drew the curtains around his bed. Sirius waited until the medi-witch was out of sight before he snuck behind the curtains. He stared at his sleeping friend. He looked exhausted like he’d been awake all night. 

It took him longer to put all the pieces together than he cared to admit. But even though he was almost completely certain that his sweet, quiet friend was a werewolf, he wasn’t scared at all. He was still Remus after all, but now somehow even cooler.

Wizard Driving Headcanons

Ogron: Gets lost all the time. He's convinced he knows better than the map, or satnav if someone has coaxed him into using one, so if it says turn left, but he's certain right is faster, he's turning right, and no force on this Earth can stop him. Doesn't exactly get road rage, but finds anyone not obeying the rules of the road utterly infuriating. Of course, if he's in a hurry, he considers wherever he's going to be more important than where the other drivers are going, so he has self-imposed right of way. Other drivers are just expected to magically know this.

Gantlos: Speeds and brakes like a maniac. He's not trying to, he just combines drastically underestimating the sensitivity of the pedals with putting too much force behind everything he does. Incredible at finding his way. The man has genuinely never got lost. He tries to help Ogron when he gets lost, but Ogron is insistent that his way is the only way, and Gantlos must be wrong. And then they somehow wind up halfway across the country when they were trying to drive to the supermarket.

Anagan: Good driver, but a bit overly cautious. Duman is perpetually incredulous that the Wizard of Super Speed always drives at least five miles below the speed limit, and tries to get him to pick up the pace, but Anagan is not having an accident, thank you very much, so Duman is usually just told to stop distracting the driver. Anagan drives like a professional cab driver, trying to keep the ride smooth and his passengers happy. Definitely owns driving sunglasses.

Duman: Is officially banned from driving. Drives like he thinks he's on a rollercoaster, incessantly tries to race Anagan, and has built his own stunt driving courses out of junk he found lying around. Genuinely doesn’t know which pedal is the brake and which is the clutch, he just hits the accelerator, then hits the road. The team voted, and Duman was banned from driving, three to one. Even Gantlos voted against him, because he’d really like his boyfriend not to die whilst driving like a maniac. When he’s the passenger, he constantly asks if they’re nearly there, not because he wants to know, he just knows it annoys the heck out of Ogron and Anagan.

Prompt 23 - Blood-Replenishing Potion

When he saw Remus lying in the hospital bed the morning after the full moon, Sirius knew something was wrong. Moony was always pale after a full moon, but he just seemed more so. 

Madam Pomfrey was concentrating so hard on the constant flow of spells she was muttering under her breath as she moved around his bed. She hadn’t even noticed Sirius enter. 

She spooked when Sirius ended up standing beside her. He didn’t even remember walking over. 

“What happened?” His voice cracked as it left his throat. 

“It was a bad night.” The medi-witch said quickly, her voice thick with emotion. Sirius leant closer to Remus and saw the healing pink scars, wounds from last night. Sirius had gotten very good at telling how old Moony’s scars were, and these were fresh. 

“What can I do?” He begged Madam Pomfrey. He couldn’t just stand there while his Moony was hurt. 

“Cupboard in my office,” She barked as she continued to heal his injuries. “Grab all the Blood-Replenishing Potion you can.” No wonder he was paler than usual. He didn’t usually need the potion as he healed so quickly thanks to being a werewolf. 

He un-corked each vial and handed them one at a time to Madam Pomfrey as she gently cradled Remus’s head and poured the potion into his mouth. 

With each new vial, more and more colour returned to Remus’s face. Sirius sighed with relief as Remus’s eyes fluttered open. 

“Padfoot?” He croaked. Sirius rushed to his bedside, gently taking his hand in his. 

“I’m here, Moony.” A lump had formed in his throat as he fought back tears. 

Remus relaxed back into his pillow, and soon, the sounds of his quiet snores filled the room. 

Madam Pomfrey squeezed Sirius’s shoulder.

“Stay as long as you want, pet. Godric knows it’ll do him good to see a friendly face when he wakes up again.” She left them be, returning to her office and closing the door. 

Sirius wasn’t planning on going anywhere. James or Peter would get his notes and homework. Remus needed him, and nothing on this earth could separate them now.
