Hello!! I have a Wincest(ish) Wednesday question for you if you're up for it! I was curious if you rewatch the show regularly or have any comfort seasons/episodes?

hi, hello, happy wincest wednesday! (the nice thing about supernatural is that the emotional wincest is canon, so all spn questions are technically wincest questions. quite the hack!)

I do rewatch the show! Not regularly, lol. But any time I'm going to write a fic I'll rewatch moments that I think might help -- as a result I've seen some *parts* of episodes like 100 times, haha. I've watched nearly every episode (barring some s15 stuff I just couldn't stomach), and have watched s1-12 at least twice all the way through.

But I don't binge through a whole season or whatever like I see some people do. "Oh, I'm watching s9 this week!" Not Z. With some buds we're doing a VERY slow rewatch ep-by-ep, but since the finale aired we're still only in s4, haha. That's also the only way I'm going to watch these episodes whole, too; if I rewatch an ep on my own I fast forward a lot. Like I never watch the cold open, and skip most case material. Oh, some blonde screamed and died. Whatever.

That said: a few really great eps that I do go back to sometimes just for the love of the game -- Folsom Prison Blues, most of 6B (especially Like a Virgin/Unforgiven/Mannequin), Ask Jeeves, basically all of s11. I love s11... so much.

You'll notice not much early seasons in there. I don't find early seasons 'comforting' -- it's a lot of character development and important stuff, but when I think about the wincesty thing that I really find to be a home in the show, it's s6-11 that I actually want more of. That's my fave. I should get a waifu pillow with Sera on one side and Carver on the other, lol.

Seriously though, I think that all the characters in the book are underweight, especially compared to their build. I could get into it potentially being due to our societies' obsession with seeing smaller numbers on the scale meaning you're healthy, but I'm not going to.

I can imagine Jason being that small though, since he's probably suffered from malnutrition on the streets. But I don't think the heights would line up.

Danielle Martha Wayne

Danielle is trapped in the past with no way home after a run in with the GIW where she is hit by their newest weapon which caused her to fall into a natural portal and strip her of her powers.

After some time living on the streets of Gotham she is eventually taken in and adopted by the Kane family changing her name to Martha in the process.

Without access to her powers she is able to live a fairly normal life and eventually falls in love with one Thomas Wayne while doing charity work for Leslie Thompkins Clinic.

They marry and shortly after birthing her Son Bruce she remembered that Bruce Wayne's parents die when he is young. She didn't know when or how just that she had 10 years at most with her son, and her tears of joy turned to sadness at the thought of not being able to see the man he will turn out to be, but she knew the man he would become didn't she? she knew of the charities in her name, a name that until that point she did not make a connection to. She also knew of the many children he has adopted and fostered who become fine upstanding citizens and she knew of his goofball and kind nature but also strong presence when needed. Yes she knew the man he would become, and she was content.

In the years following with her limited time she gave Bruce as much love as she could muster and then some, knowing it would never be enough. Then on that fateful day at the theater as she lay next to her husband and sobbing son, her final thought was how she wished she had more time.

More Meat Marionette Au?

Body Horror Warning as Usual

Been a while since I pondered the Meat Marionette Au. So have some art for Jason. Because while he might not have died, that flesh puppet was torn apart and the Caves rebuilt it with whatever It could get its claws into.

So yeah, that Joker arc does sort of happen- albeit in Gotham and without Jason running away. And there's consequences for it. Not just for the joker, not just for the bats, but for everyone.

There's a ghost in the Alley, a mass of bone and flesh shambling about in agony. And everyone knows what it once was.

The robins can't die, everyone quickly understands this. But there's something horrific of seeing the result of someone trying to do so. From something ripping one of them apart with metal and fire and scorching flesh away until it has to use whatever meat it can reach to rebuild itself.
