I love how MXTX's first two books do not take long to show you what weirdos the main characters are. Shen Yuan was waiting his whole life to die and get transmigrated and judges other (fictional) characters for reacting to transmigration poorly. Wei Wuxian wakes up in the body of a deranged lunatic and he disguises himself by acting like a deranged lunatic and does not stop for the rest of the book

Xie Lian is a total weirdo too he's just better at hiding it
