The funniest part of the "Sam could have rented a freezer" discourse is that somehow they thought it was MORE reasonable for Sam to rent a freezer to put his dead brother's body in and drive it around the country so that Dean's friends could come to the funeral than for Sam to just mourn his brother in peace.

No no, Sam should have traumatized himself and put his brother's corpse on ice for an indeterminate amount of time until Dean's three living friends could show up to look at his dead body. That makes more sense. You're so right.

I think one of my new favorite Sydcarmy scene that I've been watching on repeat is from s2E10 when Carmen gets locked in the freezer and he's desperately yelling at Marcus to get Syd. Carm starts saying "Marcus Get Syd For Me Please" to "GET SYD!", "GET FUCKING SYD!" Following this wonderful post by @devisrina and @currymanganese who pointed it out first.

nahhh I took the L and was called classist bc I told a girly eating moldy bread was inadvisable. Tell me why not even a week later girly bought a $200 device on a whim on self described “daddy’s credit card” 😭😭😭

like maybe I need to adjust my frame of mind bc like both statements can be true. But it’s not like she was looking forward to the device she was just at the store and thought it was cool. Like I’d figure there’s a middle ground between eating moldy bread levels of financial insecurity and dropping 200 for the vibes. (Yes people who are poor deserve nice things and maybe I’m wrong but 200 is a Lot to do on a whim I’d get it if it was like a planned treat but just because???)

update February 17:

nah so foul she did not need to call me classist. First off to reiterate I wasn’t mean/rude about it. I was just like:

“you really shouldn’t eat moldy bread because with the way bread is even if you cut out the mold parts there can still be spores that aren’t visible”

she was like: “well bread molds very quickly”

so I was like (drawing from earlier convo): “oh yeah 100% that’s why I either refrigerate my bread or put it in the freezer!”

her: “well you’re classist for saying that because some people have food insecurity and can’t throw out food like that”

So I was like oh damn maybe I should reevaluate my biases (ignoring that yknow that doesn’t change that bread isn’t good for you moldy and I actively do the most to not contribute food waste on the regular already”

But anyways today she mentioned that yeah her dad was poor but her mom was rich. And her dad is wealthy now. And like with almost every convo she mentions something that is just so casually wealthy. And it’s like!! she can afford to not eat moldy bread my little science advisory wasn’t being classist because we aren’t of different social classes 😭😭😭
