I hadn't noticed until this read-through that Kuma's bible has the same symbol on it as his shirt. I'd always seen the shirt design as a bullseye symbol, which fit with him yeeting people everywhere, but honestly now with it being a religious symbol I think it looks too much like Reverse Mountain to be a coincidence

My headcanons
Miss Peregrine is very afraid of Grimbears (due to what happened in LOS)
Murnau was a cannibal
Caul knew that Bentham's statues were humans, but he didn't mess with them because he thought they were actually stuffed dead people.
Bentham's Grimbear was killed from the battle of LOS. (I had a theory that he survived and became a hollow unlike anything he's ever seen, but it's just a theory)
Abe must have seen Golan thousands of times and never identified him as a wight.
Emma, Millard, Fiona and Hugh must blame themselves for what happened to Charlotte.
Claire is afraid of Enoch's humunculi and wants them far away from her dolls and stuffed animals.
Olive sleeps on the bottom bunk bed, but instead of her mattress being on top of the bottom bunk, it is stuck under the top bunk, so that she doesn't need to be tied to her bed and can sleep more comfortably (I'll draw this later)
Caul was never punished for attacking Miss P when he was a child, which is why she is so resentful and says he was too spoiled, after all he did not bear the consequences of his actions
Ymbrynes feel pain when transforming into birds, all their bones change at once and their entire body is forced to shrink, probably the faster the transformation the less pain.
Ymbrynes feel the peculiarities of others, they cannot identify which one it is, but they feel that a Child is peculiar. So a ymbryne identified baby Jacob's peculiarity , so the peregrine identified Abe's Peculiarity , and so the miss P always knows when Millard is present.

Sander Sides s2 Finale Theories
Hi,
A few days ago, I suddenly remembered Sander Sides exists and that I like it. I've been AWOL for a year or two, drifting in and out of the fandom BUT now, I have come back in full force. I am present, once again.
So, obviously, I have been wanting to see what other fans think of the series. Specifically, I want to find anyone theorizing on what will happen during the season 2 finale. Because, listen, I've been theorizing on what will happen since "Why Do We Get Out of Bed in the Morning," and that was when I was in middle school. So, obviously, my own theories have changed drastically and I want to know how others have as well.
So, please, if you have a theory, tell me all about it on this post (or any other way if you want)! I am eager to hear ANYTHING. I don't care if you do or don't have evidence, I want to know what you think will happen. You can even tell me what you think will occur to one specific character (I do/did it all the time to Roman, so I understand).
Please, let me know!

Considering his distaste for killing Sarkaz, I like to think that the main reason Hoederer preferred to prey on Laterano caravans wasn't out of any animosity towards Sankta, but rather because he was guaranteed not to fight other Sarkaz. Ursus, Leithanien, whatever, could hire other Sarkaz mercenaries to protect them, but Sankta would never do that.
Relatedly, Lateran is probably one of the languages Hoederer can understand at least passably well. Lateran teachings are widespread, so it shouldn't be too hard to find Lateran-Common dictionaries and such, and, since his main targets were Lateran caravans, he probably got a bunch of its books over the years.
I also headcanon that he and Mostima are at least on friendly basis. Both of them are chill towards other races, both have non-Teekaz companions with similar temperaments who follow them around and have some issues about not being a part of Sarkaz/Sankta collective consciousnesses, both have jobs that require to travel a lot, both are not exactly welcomed home, and both have a connection to the same Feranmut. They also have a complimentary red/blue scheme and people seriously undervalue them in gameplay, but this is beside the point.
I actually started headcanoning them as something akin to friends before Ep 13 gave Hoederer the Feranmut connection. My tangent was that, considering his background, Hoederer probably isn't very versed in various foods, and Mostima is known as something of a foodie. So I thought about how they could bond over snacks Mostima would bring for him to try, and then I just noticed that they are surprisingly similar and it would be neat for them to interact.

I'm thinking about that one hella fun fact we got about our dear zestial over here...
Yeah the one that says zestial is the oldest overlord...
We know in the pilot we learned Alastor finished the previous overlords that have been ruling for centuries almost overnight..
Which makes me wonder how is zestial STILL an overlord?
There are two possibilities in my view:
• he is a surviving overlord, means he was an overlord before and after Alastor came and stayed that way, how so:
1- either he stayed low and hidden untill Alastor got bored .
2- or he was stronger than Alastor so he stayed.
3- he took the chance and became Alastor's friend so he could avoid his demise.
4- Alastor simply liked him enough to let him be or he got bored before he met zestial.
• he is a new overlord, means he climbed his way to the top after Alastor got rid of the previous overlords , how so:
1- Alastor got bored which made an opportunity for new overlords to rise
These are my theories of how he is an overlord...
I don't know which one is ..well ...the most likely to be true .
What do you think?

Thoughts and Theories (Spoilers)
I got inspired by some of the theories I've seen floating around Tumblr and decided to throw some of my ideas with the little info we have rn.
First off, the "Voice" (the entity that's possessing MC and helping them and their party.)
In summary, we know next nothing about who they are other than the fact they know a lot about the afterlife realm and potentially a lot about the Old Gods. Based on this alone, I'd say they are an entity that is god-tier, maybe somewhere around the Old God's level.
During Chapter 2, they said "knowing my name would be more dangerous to you than ignorance," but the wording is strange. Dangerous to us how? My first impression was that they wanted to keep their involvement a secret from Nifara, but the wording is just too weird for it to just be that. Is their name a Cognito hazard or something?
Current Theories (Crack and Serious)
Nifara and the old gods aren't the biggest power to worry about in the afterlife realms: Based on what I understand about the old gods, they are the kind that were willing to annihilate the dwarves and separate the realms to stay in power just to have it their way and remain in power. I really doubt that someone like them would allow the existence of other afterlife's (and potentially gods) if it were up to them. Who knows? Maybe they did try but realized it would be a Punic victory at best, impossible at worst if they tried.
We will be making allies within other afterlife realms: I am under the impression the other gods/entities involved in the other afterlife's are not pleased the old gods interference and are willing to interfere with them regardless of the debatable power imbalance. Considering the story seems to be going into a "we are traveling through the afterlife's" route, I think we would be making allies in these realms going forward.
MC is also a construct: I played around with an idea in another tumblr post where MC was also a construct of sorts similar to Valax. Sure, it could be because MC is the leader and the party are more likely to listen if it came to them, but I get the vibes to that old theory when the Voice is able to puppet MC's voice.
The "Voice" is somehow connected to MC's family: This is more crack-theory-ish on my end, mostly because I want to know more about MC's family other than what we currently have. Also, it could be a potential motivating factor as to why the Voice is risking defying Nifara?

Lately, I’ve been thinking…
…about Sidon, Yunobo, Teba, and Riju after “Age of Calamity”.
The four of them helped save Hyrule. Sidon got the chance to reunite with his beloved sister, while the other three got to meet the heroes they had known only from legends.
But then they returned home, to a Hyrule that hadn’t been saved; where the four Champions, along with countless innocent people, died brutal deaths.
Yunobo, Teba, and Riju had known this before; having grown up hearing stories about the Calamity, and seeing ruins scattered everywhere. But now all those stories and statistics have actual people attached to them. Now they can remember the thriving towns and bustling outposts all those ruins used to be.
Sidon, meanwhile, already remembered the Calamity; and had spent nearly his entire life mourning those who were lost. Reuniting with Mipha helped heal some of his grief, but parting from her again reopened old wounds.
Then there’s the Yiga Clan. Sidon, Yunobo, Teba, and Riju got to see Master Kohga as a brave, caring, beloved leader; and the other Yiga as actual people, instead of faceless goons. But now the Yiga are their enemies again, all attempts at peace and healing soundly rejected.
The worst part is, the four can’t talk to anybody about what they went through. The only people who would believe them, and who would understand, are the last people they want to confide in. Link, Zelda, Impa, Purah, and Robbie already feel intense grief and guilt over the events one hundred years prior; and no one wants to make it worse.
Ultimately, the time-traveling Champions only have each other to talk to. But the fact that each lives in a different corner of Hyrule, combined with their respective responsibilities, means that they aren’t able to see each other very often. And on the rare occasions when all four are together, they inevitably have more pressing matters to discuss than their adventure in the past.

I have Thoughts about Guardians 3, and Rocket's arc.
Spoilers of course if anybody watching me here still cares.
--------
A name isn't just a callsign, especially if it's one you chose. A name is part of how you see yourself.
Rocket chose his first name as an act of *hope*, which was then absolutely pulverized. And in that pulverization, he lost every meaningful root he had, and every social link to anyone who could truly understand what he had been through.
Rocket refuses to be a Raccoon.
I don't mean that he just objects to being *called* one. I mean that he feels he *has no common species* at the beginning of the film. Even if he *was* a Raccoon-based prototype, which he doesn't know or believe for certain, he was deeply, fundamentally Changed. When he was modified, uplifted, and *tortured* "for his own good," he became something different than everyone else cowering in his cage. His species and his family was his experimental Batch now. And he is the only survivor.
He had believed that meant they were going to be a part of something beautiful and good and better than himself, and he was willing to serve that goal right up until he learned first that he was worthless to his maker's ideal of that beauty, and then that his family was going to be deleted like a typo out of the grand plan.
His whole life, right up until his near-death vision, he feared that all he was was somebody else's fuckup, wearing the name of a lost dream.
And then that changed.
He began to have hope. Then he made a choice of his own that he couldn't hide from his past anymore: whatever happened, he was going to stand or fall on his own power, and have a shot at making a difference along the way. And then...
He chose to be a Raccoon. To my mind he didn't just discover the name applied, he applied it himself; his kinship was with everything he wanted to save, all the potential experiments, not with his prototype path.
And that is also why it bothered me *much less* than it usually does when they mowed through minions and spared the final boss. Because they made it *Rocket*'s choice, and he chose in confronting his abusive father and disavowed God that *he would be Named by his choice to protect when possible, not just by his rebellion against the pattern set for him.* He was neither an heir of the Father's plan, nor a violent aberration who only existed to fuck it up.
He is Rocket Raccoon, and he's a Guardian of the Galaxy.

Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz
An analysis with a bit of theorizing
For those who watched Steven Universe, Rose Quartz and Pink Diamond seemed to be complete opposites in every way. But when we got the reveal of them being the same person it seemed impossible. Learning this from at first admiring Rose to the slowly deconstruction of this perfect being was also very clever yet the shock still never seemed to fade.
Yet the one thing everyone seems to be focused on is if Rose/Pink were right in their actions. So many innocents were harmed, shattered, bubbled, or killed in a war that seemed needless. But what if it was the only option?
From what we are told throughout the show Pink Diamond is trapped in an abusive situation with the other Diamonds. They see her as a child that needs to be placated for shut up entirely. Casting her off to be other gems problems or creating best friends for Pink so she would leave them alone.
But that wasn’t what she wanted. Pink Diamond didn’t want to be cast aside she wanted to have a purpose for her existence, to do something grand like the others. This anger and frustration caused her to lash out against the gems given to her as a distraction or to serve her. Perhaps this is something the other diamonds have done to her when she goes to far in her demands to be treated equally and she just replicated it against those she could. It is inexcusable and the damage still affects the gems still around that served Pink Diamond like Pink Pearl and Spinel. We probably won’t ever know the full extent of the Diamond’s actions against Pink Diamond and the domino effect agaisnt other gems but from what little we do know it was inexcusably
However, their actions kept Pink Diamond naive. She didn’t realize what the other Diamonds were doing to the other planets until she got one of her own. When she disguised herself as Rose Quartz she got to explore the planet she owned her way with what she thought was her own authority. Seeing the effect the Kindergartens had on the planet and listening to stories from other gems may have been what caused her to change for the better. When the other Diamonds wouldn’t listen and gave her the human zoo to placate her again it must have been the breaking point.
This would lead to the rebellion. Perhaps it was stared to get the others to change their minds at first. If they wouldn’t listen to her then she would force them to listen to someone who fights back. Rose Quartz became a persona where she could act and say what she had been saying for centuries but no one listened. But I don’t think Rose/Pink meant for it to get out of hand to the degree that it did. It started out with just her and Pearl but when they met Garnet and so many other gems who believed in her and trusted her not because she was a Diamond but for what she thought it became much more that just her voicing her thoughts. But by the point she realized how far the other Diamonds would go to stay in the right, it was too late.
Her only option left was to leave as Pink Diamond and allow earth to be destroyed or to stay as Rose Quartz. But she couldn’t live as both without someone becoming suspicious, hence the fake shattering.
But sometimes I wonder if she ever had the intention of righting any of the wrongs she had committed against others. She had proven before she would never reveal her true identity to the other Crystal Gems. However, if she never fell for Greg would the events that take place in the show force her to confront her past or if she would continue to be Rose Quartz until the truth is revealed?
Pink Diamond and Rose Quartz are far from perfect. There are many things they never resolved that was left to Steven. But their reasoning while flawed is understandable to a certain extent.
If the show ever gets the chance I would love for a series to show Pink Diamond’s past and her time as Rose Quartz. While I know this would take away from the way we learned about Rose and her true identity I think it would be fascinating to see how everything happened and Pink Diamond/Rose’s thoughts and feelings so the fandom can understand her better.

havent been online much but i wanted to talk about a specific character that has been extremely mischaracterized and in my opinion deserves better
Tumblr media
This guy
I think Volo is an unique character, pretty much misunderstood, but his personality/character is what makes him one of the best characters, i wouldnt count him as a villain even if he summoned Giratina, his pokemon team says otherwise as they require friendship and specific items in order to evolve them, i think this guy loves his pokemon, hell he would die for them.
What upsets me is how the fandom views him, he's portrayed as an evil creep who still wants to take over the world by defeating Arceus WHICH BY THE WAY is not true, he wanted a world with no pain and suffering, you cannot tell me he is just like Cyrus, those two have different goals and ideals, One wants to create a world with no pain, and the other wants to make a world in their own liking and vision, giving an example of the Distortion World as this is what Cyrus wanted exactly.
The other view of the fandom is portraying Volo as a p#dophile, shipping him with literal kids (Akari/Rei, Akari mostly) and treating it as if its nothing bad, we may not know the protagonists canonical age but can only accept/speculate that they are 15 from the PLA dialogues, but if the protagonists actually were adults then their models wouldnt look like they were still teenagers/kids, this is literal pedophilia right there and i dont think Volo would be interested in romance with kids (i headcanoned him as aroace/asexual cuz theres no way this guy would want to be with anybody)
Aside from Volo being the main antagonist/villain in PLA, i think it was stupid to make HIM of all people a villain, Hisui takes place hundreds years past where it was very difficult to survive, i dont knoe much about Japanese history so correct me on that one thank you. with these kinds of conditions i wouldnt even THINK about making this guy a villain, i bet he had a very rough past, how the hell can you make this guy a literal enemy, i may not be a professional writer but i do think it would be better to make Volo rather a good guy and actually want to help people not suffer, afterall the Ginkgo guild is all about selling things/helping people in need with resources they found (may be wrong on that but shut). Also i would portray Volo as an isolated guy, since he (POSSIBLY) had a traumatic past and he was all alone (we have no idea where his parents are/what happend to them), he might have been more distant with people but thanks to the Ginkgo Guild he was able to connect with other people bit by bit and socialize with them and stay positive to not make them feel bad.
(sometimes im wondering what kinda bullsh#t im writing but hey thats just my vision of this guy who i think deserves a lot better than just "haha im evil fear me and my gigantic worm")

Do you have any new headcanons? I found the ones in your pin very interesting!
Firstly: forgive me for the delay in responding, I started collecting my new headcanons and ended up forgetting to come back here to show them.
Anyway, my new headcanons:
1. Olive's tiara/crown is also made from a heavy material to help her stay on the ground and not fly away. It's extra weight to give her more comfort on the ground.
2. The council of ymbrynes never learned that Bentham accidentally created the hollowgasts. If they had known, Bentham would probably have been arrested. Even if he didn't create the hollows on purpose, he definitely planned a small genocide. This is probably considered a crime by the council.
3. Peculiar souls are not acidic, ambrosia was only acidic because the Wights wanted it, they made it that way. An addictive and corrosive liquid. It was their way of harming their peculiar "allies".
4. Caul always knew that Miss Peregrine was the successor of one of the 12 great ymbrynes who sealed Abaton and this probably made him hate her even more.
5. Nothing bad happened with the old Enoch loop, he probably just didn't suit the place and asked to change loops and ended up in Cairnholm,As grumpy as Enoch is, he likes living there, if he didn't like it he would have asked to change loops at the first opportunity.
6. Every time Abe visited Emma after the war he always went with the intention of ending everything with her, but personally he couldn't, he never had the courage to break her heart personally. Ending everything by letter was easier for him and more painful for her.
7. Claire is very young, she was probably found by Miss Peregrine when she was still very little and Ymbryne adopted her, that's why Claire is so attached to Miss P, she's the closest thing Claire has ever known to a mother.
8.Just like Olive and Noor, Claire is also a peculiar "Infant" she was born with a second mouth on the back of her head and her story must be quite sad.
9. When Victor's body was brought to the island, Enoch was the one who sewed up the entire body, he was the only one who had the courage to do this for his friend.
10. Millard has never feared being forgotten by Miss Peregrine, and probably enjoys being in her presence because she never fails to notice him. She feels his peculiarity, it's as if she sees him. Even though she doesn't really see him, she feels him, she always knows where he is, he will never be forgotten by her, she is the only one who notices his presence all the time.
11. Horace's dreams are completely meaningless, sometimes he manages to interpret and avoid the bad future, and sometimes he cannot understand what he dreamed but tries to explain and everything comes out confused and meaningless.
12. During the entire time that Fiona was missing, she was recovering from the injuries caused by her fall and the violence of the wights.
13. When Miss Peregrine saved Abe she probably didn't know what his peculiarity was, he was too young to be able to kill a hollow, he probably only discovered his gift when he was older and managed to survive an attack by hollowgasts. After all, there is no way for him to discover his power without having met Hollow in person.
14. Hugh has a whole routine organized for his bees so that their life in his stomach is as comfortable as if they lived in a normal hive.
15. There was probably a burial for Caul, and for all the current wights, after all, before they discovered what they had become, they were all presumed dead.
16. The constant transformations of ymbrynes into their respective birds harm their bone health. Their bones keep changing size and becoming hollow, their joints are also damaged, which is why they develop bone and joint problems early. Like Miss Peregrine's arthritis and how Miss Avocet became a wheelchair user.
17. Mr White and his men always knew that the children were with Caul and not Miss P. He was only so worried about knowing where the Falcon was because he knew that it was his master, and he was worried that he wasn't with the children. The wights were only chasing the children to force them to look for Miss Wren faster.
18. Wights do not have complete control or trust in hollows, and they can see the creatures, but they do not trust them enough to ride hollows like Jacob does.
19. Miss Peregrine's greatest fear is losing one of her children. She's already lost many children to tragic deaths, and she definitely doesn't want to go through that again.
20. The ymbrynes of the primordial era of the peculiars were also giants. Gigantic and very wise bird-women.

MAG PROTOCOL THEORY (spoilers below the cut)
ok, so. last night i was reading the transcripts again, and i realised something. So you all know how when Collin was trying to fix Freddy at the start of ep 3, and got a jmj error thing??
Tumblr media
well, because I'm weird af i decided to look into it to see what it meant. I found nothing at all, or nothing for computers, or code or anything of the sorts. (fuck knows if it actually means something, it could) so i came up with another theory. Because look at the letters. JMJ. that's a little too convenient, right? J- Jon M- Martin J- Jonah
and i know that people have been like "it might not be them" and all that, and that i might be pulling on threads, but it has to mean something.
if anyone who knows anything about code does know what it means, then i would like to know.

Honestly one of the biggest lessons from Death Note that is increasingly relevant today but that we don't acknowledge enough, is that one of the biggest mistakes you can make is assuming you are "far too intelligent" to fall for violent, reactionary ideologies and movements. The idea that "only stupid people" fall for them rings more and more false when you realise just how much easier you can rationalise violence to yourself and aid in your own radicalisation when you're already well practised at thinking your way through any problem. Thinking you're too smart to fall for it sets the clock on when--not if--you will.
