VIII. 

-It’s possible you’re hanging around the art building a little early for your shift, on the day you know Matt’s critique is going down. You can’t eavesdrop without making yourself obvious, but you hover in the hallway, pretending to look at student work on the wall. 

The moment you see Matt as he exits Wick’s classroom, you know it didn’t go well. “What did he say?” you ask with a frown, unable to fathom what problems the professor might have found with Matt’s work. 

Matt, however, just shakes his head. “He’s such an asshole. He picked apart every fucking little thing. We’re not fucking medical students, I don’t know the name of every muscle and bone.” You can tell he’s in a terrible mood over it, and you offer a sympathetic smile. 

“I guess…he’s just trying to make sure you learn.” You can’t think of anything else to say. You’ve forgotten a lot, but you remember having to draw medical style diagrams in life drawing 101. It’s not unreasonable on Wick’s part to expect it, unfortunately. 

“Why do you always apologize for him?” The edge in Matt’s tone takes you aback. You’ve never seen this side of your usually sweet and laid back art student, but everyone has a bad day once in a while. 

“I’m not. I’m sorry he was mean to you. That’s fucked up.” 

Maybe Wick is having a bad day too? You think about how sweet he was to you at the beginning of the semester, compared to the professional coolness he treats you with now. Something is up with that man, and maybe you shouldn’t care, but a part of you wonders what demons he’s fighting on the daily. You’re sure it hasn’t been easy, after his wife died.   

Matt groans, raking his fingers through his long hair agitatedly. “I’m sorry,” he apologizes sheepishly. “Want to hang out tonight?” he offers. “The guys and I are going to watch a movie.”

“Uh…” You feel terrible, but you would rather eat glass than hang out with his friends. You want to cheer him up though. “You can come over to my place if you want.” 

He looks at you, tilting his head like he's reading everything between your lines. “What's wrong with my place?”

“Matt…I do not feel ok around your friends.”

He looks at the ground, his hands shoved in his pockets. “They don't mean anything by it.”

“Yes they do. You are way too sweet to be hanging around with those assholes.”

He bristles at this. “They’re my friends. They're like my family. I've known them my whole life.”

“Okay?”

“So you’re too good for us, huh?”

You're know he's just in a bad mood, but it still stings like a knife between the ribs. “I didn't say that.”

“Sure. I see you, y/n.”

He clearly had a chip on his shoulder about this, and you hate it, that there's a part of you that wants to cave. That wants to believe you're overreacting, and that your survival instincts are just off, and you’re being a stuck up bitch. 

Deep down, you know you’re not. 

You've put yourself in uncomfortable situations like this before for boys…and you're not going to do it again. No matter how heartbreakingly handsome Matt is, or how good a kisser. 

“Don’t be like that. Come over. I'll make you dinner. We can watch any movie you want.” You lift your eyebrows at him, and only an idiot wouldn’t understand the code for we can makeout while a movie plays in the background.

He looks up at you through his hair, and you can tell he's sorely tempted. But pride wins out, and he shakes his head. You guess it's bros before hoes. How predictable.

Well, they can just have themselves a circle jerk for all you care. 

You watch him stump away, and you don't know why your eyes sting and your chest feels too tight.

I already showed this in the WIP ask, but I felt like it should get its own post lol

This was for another art trade with @ftl-faster-than-life who requested EoWaller. Yep, that Waller. Needless to say, it was a bit tricky but I'm happy with what I came up with! After all, who doesn't love Eo in bondage being dominated LOL

I really vibed with this idea of Eobard being Waller's property a lot and I actually ended up doing a mini two page comic for it, which is VERY rare for me xD

I’m excited to finally be able to share my drawing of my favorite Camp Camp X Gravity Falls crossover idea! :D

A long string of my thoughts regarding the crossover under the pics, you have been warned lol

It’s crazy to me that despite all the jokes that Harrison looks like a human Bill Cipher there is absolutely no fanart (that I have found) of him interacting with any of the Pines.

Yeah there’s art of him with Bill, but the Pine’s family are the ones that have trauma from him and therefore would have the best reaction.

Just imagine them meeting the one kid that not only looks like someone possessed by Bill but also does real honest to god magic and has an affinity for fire!

With how much shit the Pine’s have dealt with it wouldn’t be a stretch for them that Bill came back as a kid. They’d probably assume Harrison was being possessed or something.

Harrison especially looks like Bipper so I’d imagine he’d be especially unsettling to Dipper and Mabel. (Probably gonna draw him and Mabel interacting next)

Dipper immediately being super suspicious of Harrison and doing that stalking thing he does to try and figure him out. Dipper seeing Harrison make a mistake with his magic that makes him not look great and Dipper just freaking out more.

Mabel being uncomfortable with Harrison but trying her hardest to be nice to him because he hasn’t actually done anything yet. Becoming friends when she realizes that Harrison is just a kid and not anything like Bill personality and morality wise.

Harrison enjoyed coloring in that one episode so she could probably get him to do art with her. They’d have so much fun with him showing her his magic tricks, he’d be so happy someone is genuinely interested. His magic would probably improve with the encouragement she would give him.

Mabel being reminded of Bipper whenever Harrison gets a bit arrogant. The thought goes away pretty quickly though cause he usually gets humbled really quickly and just accepts it lol

Ford also immediately being suspicious of Harrison but not doing anything rash yet until he can test him. Losing his shit the first time Harrison does magic in front of him.

Stan giving Harrison the benefit of the doubt but keeping a close eye on him whenever he interacts with one of the twins. Not outright hostile to him but not exactly kind either.

Stan somehow finding out about how Harrison accidentally made his brother disappear and immediately noticing the similarities to what happened with him and Ford. He probably gains a bit of a soft spot for Harrison after and gives him pointers on random things, probably a few pep talks.

Oh also I know it’s just a difference in the two art styles but CC characters tend to have more yellow sclera and oval pupils/irises and it really doesn’t help Harrison’s case lmao

it's been a while since I did any sketching, and even more since I did any digital one (yells in paper 53) ; this serves as the little practice runs I like to do before I commit do sketching on a canvas and popping the acrylics out (yells again, but this time in we need to get some still lives done for a project) so yeah :)

i havent even read enough gl to justify the feelings and emotions i have about kyle i just have the lovers heart and also something wrong with me. and my projection. in my mind he's just like me. and he would have loved college vending machine frozen cheeseburger and heating it up in the microwave at 1 in the morning because he was bored and didn't want to work on a drawing assignment on 20" x 30" paper that was due tomorrow in his freshman year. he would have loved going to the club to push off finals work that's creating the worst stress known to man in his brain. and he would love to annoy the fuck out of his roommate when high and avoiding homework on a saturday.
