i really love both romance paths for lann actually. the mechanics of the romance system did seem at odds with the story the writers wanted to tell and the rp options for the commander felt very limited, but i really love the themes presented and his character arc and the kind of character he is.
#really really really glad i failed to get the ''true'' romance the first time. it made achieving it that much more special and also gave#me insight into his character i don't think i'd of otherwise picked up on#it also means i can play his romance as a character that would fail the romance with intention >:3c not right now tho.#i am actually going to take a break from the game now#next playthrough will most likely be trickster because they're the only character i've come of with that would take wenduag#and i REALLY want to know what her deal is. her character arc sounds interesting 👀#but i also wanted to romance daeran as trickster...>:(#if there's a poly mod i'm going to download it so i don't have to dedicate 2 playthroughs to both of them. i dont have the energy for that.#also. wenduag/trickster/daeran sounds kind of fun.

can i be honest i think it's weird when people are like. really mean about people who play the "popular" choices in rpgs (half-elves in dnd/bg3, as an example). i get why this happens (fans of the lesser-liked thing become bitter towards the fan-favorite(s) and the people who enjoy them. i am guilty of this too) but it's just weird and mean. calm down. its just a game.
#not a vague about anyone in specific its just something i noticed that happens sometimes#like its one thing if the creators of a specific media are showing favoritism but babes. you cant force someone to start liking something b#being mean to them about the thing they DO like. in fact you are probably going to do the opposite.#bitterness begets bitterness#all it does is make everyone miserable and hateful towards each other
