if you don't mind me sharing some stuff about my ocs cause i feel like it.
some intro stuff they're name is mitter (Full name? T. Mitter) and shes an awakened arcanist with a tv for a head, her affalatus is intellect and shes works for laplace.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mainly based them on some of these notes in the research board on chapter 7 cause i find them kinda funny. (Yes she has beef with X ill get into that someday)
I have shared they're design And yeah thats mostly all im sharing for now (again sorry to bother about them lol)
Don't worry, you may share your OCs with me, I appreciate it!
The person who sent the ask about more object-head arcanist is going to appreciate this one
Gosh those notes are so funny 😭
Gotta love girls(?) just having it out against X (Mesmer Jr and T. Mitter). Do you think they would get along? They seem like the type to talk shit about X during their break.
I'd LOVE the idea of a TV head arcanist so much. By my own speculation and assumptions: They'd be able to project their emotions on their screen similar to Ulrich's particular show of emotions, their body would have to be modeled to be able to hold a TV (taking into account the 1999 and under TVs, it would be a cook body) and Laplace's garments/uniforms are pretty "futuristic" in a sense, so they would be able to dress up more particularly.
I'm sure T. Mitter and TTT would have beef because TTT keeps hijacking that TV to project her own face in it.
I'd love to hear more of them sooner or later, the concept and their beef with X sound very interesting.

What all jobs can we decide to have in game?
I've answered this before somewhere, but I'll just reiterate here again! ^^
There are 4 job paths you can choose in game, those being:
Rewind Rental - You're a clerk, checking out customers' items and stocking up on movies, games, and records.
Grace's Diner - You're a waiter / waitress, serving your patrons a variety of homestyle cooking, collecting tips wherever you can.
Community Pool - You're a lifeguard, days spent in the sun as you watch over patrons, ensuring the highest quality fun and safety.
Camp Amber Creek - You're a camp counselor, your hands full of rowdy kids as you provide both a safe and fun environment to all your campers.
Henry will also work alongside you at whatever job you choose, but there are others you will work with as well, such as:
Nico at Rewind Rental.
Sandy at Grace's Diner.
Lyra at the Community Pool.
And Elijah at Camp Amber Creek.

I have decided to share my superhero au idea with the community!
Here is the general idea of it:
"In which Grian is an actual menace to society and does everything in his power so that everyone has a bad time. He is Watcher, a villain who has terrorized the world for a long time. This goes off of Martyn’s lore of the watchers feeding off of people’s negative emotions."
TL;DR: Everyone has a bad time as they try to fight off Watcher. Lots of angst.
There are Hero Coorps, Villain groups and our favorite vigilante benchtrio :DDD This is perhaps the only fanfiction for which I have planned more angst than fluff. Currently also taking ideas from QSMP because I heard Bad likes to watch over the map and make sure that no one is in trouble and this is such a good bit to implement into the lore! Plenty of people have suggested super amazing powers on quotev and wattpad and it's just amazing how many original ideas I've seen and I will be taking some time to see which ones could come in handy and add those in! :DDD
P.S. The roster will only include characters from Empires, Hermitcraft, Lifesteal and DreamSMP!

"For years, California was slated to undertake the world’s largest dam removal project in order to free the Klamath River to flow as it had done for thousands of years.
Now, as the project nears completion, imagery is percolating out of Klamath showing the waterway’s dramatic transformation, and they are breathtaking to behold.
Tumblr media
Pictured: Klamath River flows freely, after Copco-2 dam was removed in California.
Incredibly, the project has been nearly completed on schedule and under budget, and recently concluded with the removal of two dams, Iron Gate and Copco 1. Small “cofferdams” which helped divert water for the main dams’ construction, still need to be removed.
The river, along which salmon and trout had migrated and bred for centuries, can flow freely between Lake Ewauna in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to the Pacific Ocean for the first time since the dams were constructed between 1903 and 1962.
“This is a monumental achievement—not just for the Klamath River but for our entire state, nation, and planet,” Governor Gavin Newsom said in a statement. “By taking down these outdated dams, we are giving salmon and other species a chance to thrive once again, while also restoring an essential lifeline for tribal communities who have long depended on the health of the river.”
“We had a really incredible moment to share with tribes as we watched the final cofferdams be broken,” Ren Brownell, Klamath River Renewal Corp. public information officer, told SFGATE. “So we’ve officially returned the river to its historic channel at all the dam sites. But the work continues.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pictured: Iron Gate Dam, before and after.
“The dams that have divided the basin are now gone and the river is free,” Frankie Myers, vice chairman of the Yurok Tribe, said in a tribal news release from late August. “Our sacred duty to our children, our ancestors, and for ourselves, is to take care of the river, and today’s events represent a fulfillment of that obligation.”
The Yurok Tribe has lived along the Klamath River forever, and it was they who led the decades-long campaign to dismantle the dams.
At first the water was turbid, brown, murky, and filled with dead algae—discharges from riverside sediment deposits and reservoir drainage. However, Brownell said the water quality will improve over a short time span as the river normalizes.
“I think in September, we may have some Chinook salmon and steelhead moseying upstream and checking things out for the first time in over 60 years,” said Bob Pagliuco, a marine habitat resource specialist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in July.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pictured: JC Boyle Dam, before and after.
“Based on what I’ve seen and what I know these fish can do, I think they will start occupying these habitats immediately. There won’t be any great numbers at first, but within several generations—10 to 15 years—new populations will be established.”
Ironically, a news release from the NOAA states that the simplification of the Klamath River by way of the dams actually made it harder for salmon and steelhead to survive and adapt to climate change.
“When you simplify the habitat as we did with the dams, salmon can’t express the full range of their life-history diversity,” said NOAA Research Fisheries Biologist Tommy Williams.
“The Klamath watershed is very prone to disturbance. The environment throughout the historical range of Pacific salmon and steelhead is very dynamic. We have fires, floods, earthquakes, you name it. These fish not only deal with it well, it’s required for their survival by allowing the expression of the full range of their diversity. It challenges them. Through this, they develop this capacity to deal with environmental changes.”

Here’s some inspiration for anyone who wants to write a green utopia or something that symbolize the rot under the surface.
I visited Stige Island today. It’s not really an island because it is connected to the mainland by a small road but the name stuck.
Tumblr media
It is an artificially constructed island that was turned into a dump which made it grow bigger and bigger as more trash was piled on top.
Tumblr media
Eventually the dump was closed down by covering it in a thick layer of dirt which is why the island is full of hills and bumps. A web of paths were created and the landscape was dotted with playgrounds and picnic tables and today it’s an incredibly popular place for the locals to relax.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unfortunately most photos online show the island in its early sorta barren state because today it has become a haven for all sorts of plant and animal life skittering around in the dense bushes. It’s a wonderful place to go birdwatching, fishing or pick berries.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But the trash is still down there creating methane gas. What did the city do about that? Harvest it for energy of course! So when you walk around the island you’ll see pipes and what appears to be manholes that are part of this sophisticated system.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can look at it in two ways. To me it’s a wonderful solution to turn this former dump into a beautiful green area for wildlife and people to use while also using it for energy, but the idea that something fire related could happen and blow the entire thing up and unearth the dirt of the past is pretty tempting.

can i request babykuna when she was still in the womb? like sukuna being all sweet and caring to reader when she’s pregnant and talking to her baby bump.
the day sukuna found out you were pregnant, he screamed. not in fear, not in shock—but in sheer, unfiltered, snotty-nosed joy. one moment, he was staring at the positive test in your hands. the next, he had his face buried in his monogrammed handkerchief, honking out the loudest, wettest happy sobs you’d ever heard.
you wondered if you had accidentally married a goose.
“oh my god,” you muttered, watching him go through all five stages of parenthood in under a minute. “we’re having a baby,” he sniffled, pulling you into his arms like he was never letting go. “holy fuck, we’re gonna be parents.”
“yeah, that’s kinda what happens when you—”
“shhh.” he dropped to his knees, pressing his ear to your stomach. “the baby’s listening.”
“… sukuna, i am barely six weeks. there's nothing to listen to.”
he ignored you, humming deeply like he was communicating with the soul of the unborn child. then, after a few moments of wise, fatherly contemplation, he sat up and clapped his hands.
“both of you need rest. now.”
“but i—”
“now.”
and thus began the nine-month saga of sukuna baby-proofing the entire planet.
he refused to let you lift a finger. not even a pinky.
“babe, can you—”
“no.”
“but i just—”
“no.”
you reached for a glass of water right in front of you. he intercepted. he became the ultimate husband, reading baby books, forcing you to take naps, buying enough pregnancy pillows to construct a small fortress. one day, you caught him in the study, wisely reading through the classics.
he squinted at the page, frowning. “… countenance.”
silence.
he flipped the page back. then forward. then he snorted.
“why the fuck does this word exist? just say ‘face,’ dumbass.”
he built two entire walk-in closets for babykuna. one for a boy. one for a girl. “you never know,” he said wisely, surveying his masterpiece.
“sukuna, it’s one baby.”
“you never know.”
it didn’t matter, though. he didn’t care about the gender. “as long as the kid’s happy and healthy,” he muttered one night, resting his hand over your belly, his voice soft, reverent. then, after a beat:
“but if it’s a boy, i am not naming him after me. too much pressure.”
when the day finally came, and you held babykuna for the first time—her tiny fists curled, her chubby cheeks already resembling her father’s, her rebellious little tuft of hair standing up in defiance—sukuna knew he knew he was right where he was supposed to be.
"she looks like you," you whispered, exhausted but happy, brushing her soft little cheek. he snorted, reaching over to push a strand of hair from your face. "nah," he said, smirking, voice thick with emotion. "she's got your hair."
and for the first time in his life, sukuna felt complete.
