Tears of the Kingdom would have been so much better if it had loftwings honestly. Like it's already 1,000,000x better than BotW but exploring the sky islands is really inconvenient and their content's not really worth the effort most of the time. Also I just want to ride bird again I love bird so much they're so cute.

Haven't even watched a single Hirogaru Sky Precure episode but the transformations are so fucking top-notch. I've been rewatching Cure Sky's transformation on a loop and I genuinely think it's one of the best transformation sequences Precure's ever come up with.

There's this kind of hybrid artstyle in comics lately that I wanna learn how to do (i just wanna stare at them coz its too pretty). Would it be an insult to call it hybrid? Hybrid in a way that its more anime-ish/cartoon-ish...but still very much in comic artstyle. It's very stylized too, and it's more softer and expressive on the face, and I love it.

I don't know if its a real thing, or I'm just seeing things in my fave artists in comics

#okay in all seriousness though i fucking loved it #hands down favorite episode was earth rake #but also contending is stockiverse and.. Bouillabaisse..#i really love how family focused this season is. dont get me started on tervo. i love how much nicer everyone is to each other #except for them really juicing up korvo’s bitchiness in super gooblers (which i guess was meant to push jesse into her confrontation)#speaking of korvo his voice was a delight this season. just so expressive and is now up there with the rest of the casts distinct voices #i guess trying to ease back into finales that end with a season reset #and why didnt pupa change color??#overall it was pretty fucking great. had black spots in my vision during the invisible kitchen scene #tervo this season was fucking crazy my god what are they gonna do for the valentine special #UGHHH. they really keep raising the bar every season. SOOOO GOOD #this isn’t a very In Depth discussion of my thoughts sorry i need to spend more time in this seasons nooks and crannies #ooh ohh and the replicants this season were so cute too. THEY GREW TOGETHERRR #i liked the shlorp lore and little peeks into their past too #anyways i got sidetracked yeah amazing season #I FORGOT TO MENTION THE ANIMATION #THE ANIMATION THIS SEASON WAS BONKERS DUDE. LOVED HOW FLUID IT WAS AND ALL THE FUN NEW EXPRESSIONS THE SOLARS HAD #THAT SCENE OF THEM SAYING DEENOSAUR WAS LIKE MY FAVORITE EXAMPLE #gonna keep adding as i remember things im glad they wanted to explore jesses character more #but i dont like how they jeopardized korvos character for them to get there #kinda made him backtrack his progress for the sake of that episode :/ just a really big shift i wasnt a fan of #and they didnt make him feel remorse that whole episode either he didnt even say sorry :/#also terry was just chill with chris that whole episode? have we just moved past the hall of betrayals thing?#i guess jesse’s roast about him being sky blue really just set him off for the rest of the season #he needs to talk to someone professional #i feel like solars is a really weird blend of being umm. I hate having really pretty visually interesting dreams because I know I'll wake up and forget it and even if I try to draw them before I forget I won't be able to recreate the style :(

#i had two dreams like this last night #don't remember that much of what was happening in the first one other than taking a test at school #but everyone was don bluth style animals (specifically All Dogs Go to Heaven) and all the coloring was done in beautiful pale watercolors #and my second dream was vaguely about Dungeon Meshi and the legend of the Golden Kingdom #(it was a really inaccurate portrayal but that makes sense since it was just a dream‚ i can't expect it to be 100% at all times lol)#but it was done in a really fluid and bouncy vintage anime style that was so pretty (don't know what to compare the more detailed parts to)#(maybe like The Rose of Versailles style? not sure haven't watched it BUT the small parts of the dream were done in old Hello Kitty style)#(i specifically remember Thistle looking very similar to Kuromi whenever they smiled or laughed)#but ANYWAYS i mostly remember two scenes #where we're at a fountain with a statue of Delgal‚ which twists and shifts into the cloaked 'mad mage' imagined portrayal-#and then the cloak twirls again to shift into Thistle themselves in a very fancy jester outfit and then they take a big bow to the camera #the second scene i remember was with Thistle close up to the camera and smiling as they held a little spinning music box of the Winged Lion #and then the characters both shifted again so that it ended up as being the Winged Lion holding up a tiny music box of Thistle #uhhhhhh. i also remember some bit where Thistle was being very mean and laughing from atop the fountain but i don't remember what was said #anyways the dreams weren't that good story wise but i can't emphasize enough how pretty they looked and I'll never be able to recreate them #dungeon meshi spoilers #delicious in dungeon spoilers #just in case lmao?

#Doodles #Spider #Nhandu Chromatus #Tala #Vent #TW animal death #I haven't had a pet all of my own since I was very small - about Tala's age - and this was the first one that I was 100% responsible for #Bought and fed and cleaned and made their enclosure - everything mine for the first time #So it's also the hardest I've ever taken a pet death - at least in the past two decades so it might as well be forever haha #I was blaming myself pretty hard the day I found them - I'd been away for a couple days and when I finally checked they were gone #Gave me the kind of vibe of someone who's so alone that no one finds their body until [x reason] - as if no one cared enough to look #But mostly I felt bad because it looked like they had attempted a molt but hadn't even flipped over #Like they'd just given up - like they knew that it wasn't even worth putting in the effort #I think now that I've looked it up I know what happened - spiders get a lot of their fluid intake from their prey #And because they'd been in premolt they'd been refusing food - and while I spritz their enclosure it's not a very reliable water source #I'd been wanting to wait until they were a bit bigger before I put in a water dish because I was very paranoid about them drowning #I'd heard horror stories of people waking up to their Ts submerged as if they'd fallen in and couldn't pull themselves back out #I hadn't considered that the opposite was even a possibility - that was my mistake and I feel guilty about it #But it is at least the minorest of comforts to know it wasn't a lack of space to molt - maybe - that killed them #I still want to ask seasoned spider people but it hurts to think about telling them what happened #It didn't feel real at first. It took a while for it to sink in and the entire time I just kept waiting for them to move again #I really didn't want the first time holding them to be to bury them #I could think selfishly and hope that they were a male after all - that they wouldn't've had very long #But they should've been here for years #I really wanted to do better by them #In some ways it feels silly to cry so much over a spider haha but I really wanted to do right by them and to not be able to...

triguns stampede is so so so beautifully animated but wow they came right out of the gate with the fucked up storylines huh. trigun og at least let us pretend we were in a silly western with a weirdo lameguy protag for like two seconds, but stampede say nah actually we’re getting all the weird fucked up familial shit out there right out of the gate!!!! i respect them for that!!!!

Just finished Season 2 of Tiger&Bunny, and while I think I prefer the first season better, I did get some new skrunklies. So I can't complain TOO much...

I have, however, figured out my biggest gripe with season 2. And thats Kotetsu. Specifically, with how they drew him and the absolute lack of goofy Kotetsu Content.

A big part of the charm of Kotetsu is he's a Goofy destructive DILF who means well. And I'm all for him looking pretty as a treat but :((( Where is the goofy dad man :(((((

#Tiger&Bunny 2 #I did enjoy Tiger&Bunny2. I have a few gripes but at the end of the day this is one of my favorite series and it holds a special place #Do I think this is how I hoped things would go? Nah. But I'm happy with some of the outcomes anyway #For one? Jhon & JhonJhon. Loved seeing content of them. FireSky is also great. I love them so much #And the skrunklies? *Holds Thomas and Subaru gentle* They're just so :DDDDDD #And can we talk about Karina & Ryan? I love them. They're so fun. And the fandom is also so fun with the Ryan and Karina content. <333 #Origami and Bison was a fun duo of people to see #My favorite thing was just seeing everyone interact. That was my highlight.#And the art for some bits were so pretty and fluid and stuff!!! But it made me wish that other scenes had just half the effort put into it #The Yuri Episode happened and I joked to my mom that they spent the entire budget on Yuri being pretty[Which is fair]#But some scenes felt static. Particularly with Kotetsu? He's not as animated in this season and it really shows #He just feels off in those scenes when he looks off into the distance pretty and thoughtfully.#But it doesn't feel like I'm watching Kotetsu :(#Where is my goofy expressions :(((#His classic goofy and outlandish bodylanguage?#Where are the vibes? :((((#There were multiple times where I looked at Kotetsu hoping and thinking he would have more emotion in his face.#Multiple times I had pixtured the expressions myself #even if they were just slight #A crease of a brow #the slant of his eyes #Perhaps his mouth being pushing into a tense shape.#Something :(((#Okay some other tags now sorry for all that ^^'#I Rant About Stuff #(I guess?)#kotetsu t. kaburagi
