WOW! What a crazy day. So we went hiking today and on our way to the trail head, we spot a turtle in the middle of the road trying to cross.... we named him Carl. Well of course we didn't want Carl to get hit, so @journey3six5 Heather picked him up and moved him to the side in the direction he was going and we continued on our way. THEN about 200 yards away there was a baby racoon on the side of the road. Thinking it was stunned or something and fell out of a 🌳 Heather once again picked up the animal (a.k.a Robin), put her on a hill off the road and gave her some water. We decided that if Robin was stunned, we needed give her time and space to recover. We decide to go for our hike and hoped she would be gone by time we came back to get our water container. So we get to the trail head, where we meet up with our prima @zyra.taz and we get going. There we see a lady with her awesome dogs. They all had goggles and we asked her is we could take a picture....clearly she said yes! It was great. Long story short, we finished our hike, said goodbye to our cousin and now we have a racoon in our shower and she's waiting to go to rehab tomorrow! Holy shit, what a day! Oh, and we hiked another 2 miles today. That sweet little girl on the left was so full of love and promise.... still to this day that remains true. Rayven has ALWAYS been such a sweetheart. Never once has anyone made a negative comment about her. She's happy, she's smart, she's driven, she's kind, she's honest and most of all she's the best kid anyone could ask for. 💜 Even during her "rebellious years", she was so kind and polite about her protests. She'd argue with intent, passion and purpose, never for the sake of arguing. When she wanted to prove a point, she did her research and came to the table ready and effective. More often than not, she'd get her way simply because she earned it. 💜 Rayven doesn't stray away from challenges, but she doesn't hit them straight on either (that would be our other baby Phoenix), instead she dissects them. She carefully and intricately examines them, THEN makes her move. Which I can ASSURE you she didn't get from her mama...nooooo! Rayven is a tough cookie and a hard nut to crack if you haven't earned that place in her life, but through and through she is and always has been a deeply emotional creature. Her attention to the tiny details in life are astounding. 💜 She's very calculating and deliberate. EVERYTHING for Rayven has meaning. She isn't reckless, she isn't foolish. She's organized and precise. She's stubborn and she's a fierce competitor. The qualities she possess are second to none. Everyday that she grows closer to flying the coup is everyday we're less sad and more eager to watch her grow. 🖤❤ We just love having fun with our passions and interests. We are gung-ho with virtually everything we do and if we're not, then it won't last long. Our fitness is a journey that we are enjoying and learning to hone in on. If it seems like we're obsessed, it's because we are. We don't just want to get in shape and be healthy, that simply won't do anymore. We're looking for complete transformations and we're having a great time getting there..... it's true, we sometimes HATE not seeing immediate results, but it took us a while to totally fall off the wagon and it's going to take a while to build it back up. This is a marathon, not a sprint. ❤🖤 💜💙 If we can accomplish anything with our posts, we hope to inspire you. We aren't looking to inspire you to lose weight, get fit, buy into a product (though we like to share what's effective for us) or any of that shit. No! Never before has @journey3six5 made so much progress with regards to strength and pushing past boundaries! 20lbs was added to her bench press yesterday. That's 20lbs away from 135lb x 10 **Not a new max, but definitely a new PR** She's got a long way to go, but she's well on her way. Set no boundaries and place no ceiling on your goals. She's working hard to catch her upper body strength up to her lower body strength. Leg day is her flex day, the goal...... that should be everyday! Let's get it. Don't worry about whether or not your glass is half full or half empty. There's water in it...... so drink that shit down and refill it! Most of all, never be afraid to start over. Never be afraid to reroute your path..... never!
