Peri having Cosmo and Wanda’s sense of showmanship! HIS VOICE and Charisma is like Cosmo’s OG personality from the pilot episode and I LOVE IT!! 😍

Also giving him a Wand/Magical Cane that resembles his RATTLE. Peri’s hair having a perfect blend of Cosmo and Wanda- the swirl from Wanda and a strand from Cosmo’s design. His suspenders parallels Cosmo’s suit and tie.

ITS PERFECT!! 😭🥹

The Character Design is Peak!! I just love how they aged him up bec some cash grab show would keep him a baby forever. It’s the little things like this that show that the people behind this reboot care so much of the original legacy that we grew up on and loved!

They’re taking from the source material in all the right ways giving many callbacks and evolving the characters that still respects what was originally established-

They changed his name to Peri cause Poof is a slur in some countries. And that is a change I gladly accept cause Periwinkle is a perfect name for this new Tumblr Sexyman!

Thank you sm to the people behind this show for respecting our childhod! Genuinely hope this reboot gets more love! 👏

Hot take:

Agent Stone was ALWAYS a villain

He's been on the side of evil since day one.

He was Robotnik's servant and had undying loyalty to him.

And yeah, he didn't want the world to be destroyed but that doesn't make him a GOOD guy.

(Note, I'm not saying "Good guy" as in "Good person" I'm saying "Good guy" as in "Someone on the heroic side")

He was always on the side of evil, on the side of Robotnik, on the side of world domination.

If the world is destroyed, how will they rule it together?

He didn't love Eggman DESPITE his plans for world domination. He wanted to conquer the world WITH him.

Although, I think his love for Robotnik overpowers anything else. What made Eggman happy made Stone happy.

But what made Eggman happy was being evil

So that's what Stone was too.

I don't think we're gonna see the rise of Stone as the main villain cause he's "turning" evil.

He already WAS evil.

But with Eggman gone, now he's going to be in the spotlight. But nothing has changed, really.

Something something Robotnik spent so much of his life having to make joy for himself on his own that he didn't realise Stone was important to him until Gerald tried to kill him and shattered his pre-concieved notions of what love was.

Being an orphan had a part in how he perceived the idea of love. He never had any friends, no romantic partners, because to him, there was no expectation that someone would inherently love him just for the sake of it. He was 'undesirable'. So, he entertained himself with his creations, and with his own personality.

He latched onto the chance to connect with his grandfather in Sonic 3 because to him, that relationship is where he expected to find someone who loved him on the basis that they were family.

Stone brought him happiness in ways so simple...

so unique...

so realistic...

that it wasn't until he was about to die that Robotnik clocked it as genuine care and affection. Something that Gerald never felt for him, and only Stone had ever given him.

So safe to say they make me insane actually
