Li Tianxi and Li Tianchen have powers that complement each other. Which makes sense, they are siblings, they shared a trumatic past, they care deeply for each other - all those things make a good narrative point to give the two people similar powers or powers that work well when paired.

Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi also have powers that complement each other. But when we look at them from the distance, before the show began... they kinda are just some random dudes? Like it would be more logical if Cheng Xioshi and Qio Ling developed a pair of abilites. Why these two people who met "randomly" during casual basketball play have powers that look like they were designed to work together? Did they have their powers during their first meeting or something happened during their vacation trip? Did the fate itself decided brought them together? How poeticly beautiful and tragic that would be.

Like a red string connecting soulmates, powers of time manipulation tie fates of two people together, forcing them to make tough decisions, sacrifices and question their own morals and rules. If they change something they might destroy their present, a small good deed may lead to tragedy. Remaining a viewer also doesn't look good. Are they going to let all these innocent people suffer when they are able to change it? Because they are afraid of consequences of their own actions? Because they don't want to feel responsilbe?

Fate and Destiny are watching them, laughing at them. They gave them illusion of a choice.

★help I'm so stupid, today I saw that some vines had out of our potatoes, (which turned out to be sprouts after some googling-) and I was confused and my first dumbass thought- which I asked out loud was 'when did we grow potatoes'. Cause they didn't look like we got them from the grocery store, they looked more like they were ripped from a farmers garden or something. Spoiler alert, there's not possible fucking way we could have grown potatoes as they can't really grow in a small little balcony with just a few of old dusted flower pots. Cloud inversion (noun) – a phenomenon when cold air is trapped under a layer of warm air.

Also known as temperature inversions, cloud inversions are a weather phenomenon created when a layer of cold air is trapped under a layer of warm air. Typically, warm air is closer to the earth’s surface. In an inversion, condensed moisture in the cold layer forms clouds that are trapped near the ground. Cloud inversions often form in valleys like those around Mount Rainier. It is not uncommon for it to be cloudy and cool at low elevations and warmer and sunny at higher elevations! I need assistance from someone who speaks Chinese, I am begging.

I built this little alarm clock, and it's really cool. One of the features is it tells you every hour what time it is! But it only tells you in Chinese. I think this is very neat, but I also do not speak Chinese at all, and I want to know what the voice is saying. I have tried to find out from the paperwork from the assembly kit, the reviews, Google, etc. and nothing is adding up 😭

And of course it's 13 minutes past 8, and I don't want to reset the clock, so I have to wait another 47 minutes until I can capture what it says again, but can someone please help me please please.

Daily Log 7

Trying out (probably just temporarily) making short daily-ish notes about things, in an attempt to see if it helps me be more reflective or productive lol.

Activities: Finished all of the little things I carved out of avocado pits, will maybe post pictures at some point? I painted some sections (like for the eye I carved, I made part of it white for contrast, etc.) and then generally glazed them with some shiny paint stuff. Now I really wish I had more avocado pits, I was unsure at first, but I have some new ideas.. I want to try inlaying stones like I've seen in some pictures, similar to the same ones I use for eyes in my sculptures. >:3 (random google image example of the stones inside, like this sort of thing V)

Low effort/small house cleaning tasks, did a few dishes, put up laundry, organized things, put up the recycling, paid bills, etc.

Still extremely sleepy and unfocused, it was hot last night and the cats woke me up multiple times so I only got a few hours of sleep and barely had any energy to do anything and also had a headache and back pain a lot of the day. ToT

Finally made an appointment I was supposed to make like 4 days ago lol..

Gave wet food to the cats (this is an ordeal because George eats way faster than Noodle, so I have to separate them and stand guard so George doesn't vacuum his up immediately then run over and try to eat all of his brothers food.. evil boy must be watched to prevent his crimes )

Edited videos for like.. 15 minutes but still have not been very productive on that front (or editing costume photos or anything) due to shoulder pain and stuff making it hard to type/use mouse much on the computer. grrbbb >:V

Spent 10 minutes looking up a weird pendant I had in my rock collection area and found out it's an old piece of costume jewelry from the 60s(?) and could be worth like $200 potentially, which is cool. I'm not sure if I'll sell it though because I do think it's quite unique and good for a prop when making wizard character inventories, etc, and I'd never be able to find anything like it again (it's this one below.. it's very weird.. looks like something a mage would have lol)

Translated the tapestry text for 5 minutes, and got out some tubs of clothes to start organizing them to sell outfits and stuff online, but then felt ill and had to go lay down so now the tubs are just sitting out on the floor ghgh..

Notable sights: It rained a bit and the sky was very pretty at one point. Didn't get to go outside today due to schedule/low energy, so no clovers or anything. Saw a fat squirrel out the window once though. Also when I was looking through my "rock collection" (which also includes marbles, dice, pieces of glass, stones, gems, rubber balls, seashells, smooth wood, jewelry scraps, etc. ggh.. really more "shiny things collection" but it's mostly rocks, so) for interesting stones to possibly put into avocado pits in the future, I saw a lot of pretty rocks I hadn't thought about in a while, so that was nice.

Goals moving forward: Focus on social activities, finding new friends in the places I want to move, communicating with ones I have. Physical therapy exercises. Finish and upload videos, edit costume pictures & etc. Do the new costumes I've planned. MAKE SCULPTURES at some point, I miss them.

Notable foods: Nothing really.. but it's an asparagus day tomorrow I think so.. >:)c hehehehe... Oh, I did try a bite of corn, which I really really love corn but am not supposed to have it on my diet. The miniscule morsel was sufficiently cherished. Still craving hearty stuff despite resuming my iron supplements lol..

I kind of want to do a temperature blanket, but I don't care about the temperature, so I'm trying to think of something along the same format that's not as boring as temperature. I'm thinking maybe moon phases? I considered sunrise and sunset time, but it would require a lot of yarn and I'm not sure exactly how I would format it. Any ideas?

Anyway if you’re from the US and you ever wanted to know what tumblr feels like from a non-USAmerican perspective (please note that the rest of the world is not a monolith either and none of these apply without exception):

Everybody’s talking about brands and stores you’ve never seen in real life. You generally assume they exist, but they might as well be one giant prank the rest of the internet is in on.

You find a post that just sounds wrong. It makes no sense. It’s like OP lives in a weird alternate reality. 9/10 times, it’s just some USAmerican Thing.

You’re still not entirely sure how much an inch is. Or a foot. Or even how many of the former there are in the latter. You maybe know your height in feet and inches.

You have no idea how much a pound is. You’d also like to know how the fuck pound shortens to lbs.

What the fuck is “military time”

Somebody talks about some legal process or something similar. They don’t mention which country’s legal system this pertains to. You know anyway.

People talk about politics. None of it pertains to you. Many posts contain guilt tripping. “How can you not care about this?? Why won’t you reblog this?? People need to know this about x candidate for y position!” You’re busy trying to stay on top of the political landscape in your own country.

You pick up some random slang from the internet. Monkey see monkey do. You’re called racist. You didn’t know it was AAVE. You learnt it from black letters on white background, not from the mouths of people whose faces you could see. How would you have known? You try to unlearn it.

People tell you that you must publicly denounce Chick-fil-A or you’re homophobic. You don’t even know what a Chick-fil-A is.

People say you don’t know LGBTQ+ history. What they mean is you don’t know USAmerican LGBTQ+ history. Nobody cares about your country’s history.

You’re “called out” on using an “offensive” term. It’s (a direct translation of) a completely harmless word where you live.

People expect you to have an idea of how far apart 2 USAmerican states are. You barely know geography past your country’s immediate neighbors.

You randomly switch between British and American spellings. Nothing’s real and there are no rules.

People talk about multiple hour car rides and you get twitchy just thinking about it. You suddenly understand why USAmerican cars are so big.

Somebody talks about school shooting drills. You only ever had fire alarm drills.

You see a cool statistic. The study’s only about the US. It’s unfortunately of no use to you.

People misuse/misspell words and names from your native language. It’s tiring.

(You feel sorry for the French. Nobody should be allowed to mangle the word déjà vu like that.)

You’re still not over the fact that USAmerican school children are supposed to say that pledge thing every morning. You’re never getting over that.

You still don’t know why the men are fresh or what the fuck a sophomore is.

Who the fuck pays up first and then fills up gas??? That’s made up, right??

Everybody has a weird obsession with some comfort food you’d never even heard of before you signed up here.
