I've been talking to my little brother who also plays the game and he was watching the Amphoreus trailer again... He looked up to me, and said. 'What if Phainon was Nanook and the black tide is like the version of the swarm that dominated their world. Maybe we're watching the destruction of their world and their ascension. Nanook had white hair, gold blood and Amphoreus looks like an infinity symbol, a loop. Maybe this is a recorded memory Fuli wants to capture and Nous wanted to study?

He hadn't done the new quest yet. And I'm trying hard not to spoil it. But it is an interesting theory with a few holes cause the Swarm was bugs. Maybe it could be mutated bugs latching on the people to corrupt them but...still.

Also, as someone who played the update where we found out about the 3rd Path is Destruction... Nanook themselves... I didn't even consider Destruction. I thought it was Mythus or Harmony or Ena.
