My experience with Analog Horror/ARGs and why you should check them out
Marble Hornets: the classic, and a big favorite of mine for obvious reasons. I cannot stress enough how good and spooky that series is, and the ToTheArk videos gave me nightmares, love it! <3
If you're into Slenderman stories, you should definitely check it out. The acting is very well done and the story is awesome overall :)
The Sun Vanished: the ARG that started my interest for ARGs, and especially enigmas/internet puzzles. Unfortunately I was not smart enough to figure the stuff out by myself, so I just watched explanations on it. Highly recommended if you like post-apocalyptic settings and subtle horror.
The Mandela Catalogue: possibly the series that brought back my interest for these things. I have only watched the first two seasons of it, as I sadly lost interest after a while, but from what I have watched, I would recommend it to those of you who like horror with religious themes (which is a big thing for me) and most importantly, trust issues. Do keep in mind this series deals with more serious and dark topics, though you have probably heard it already.
Local58: the analog horror of all analog horrors, Local58 barged in before TMC took the spotlight. There is so much going on and all of it is very interesting and scary. America's pride leads to its doom, the moon can control electronic devices, and weird creatures spread through the world. If you like stories that leave you not understanding what the hell just happened but loving it anyway, you will love Local58.
Rocket Archives: A single-video series that has unfortunately been taken down for reasons I am not certain of. But if you're curious what it was about, the video presented a reality where us humans were forced to leave Earth with how hot it was getting, and moved to contained bubbles in space. Suddenly, uh oh! The sun's getting closer! Outer Wilds moment! Everything is melting! Humans are gone and the sun is... alive???
Analog Archives: made by the creator of Rocket Archives, has also been taken down but can still be found re-uploaded. The series is slightly similar to Local58, as in it also focuses on broadcast hijacking used for ending off humans. The series also includes a few religious topics that can get very dark. I love it. "Nature Show" makes me tear up with fear every time.
Gemini Home Entertainment: ALL-TIME FAVORITE MOMENT!!! I don't think I need to explain why I love this one so much. GHE leaves a lot to your imagination/speculation, while also twisting your head directly into the direction of the threat and forcing you to look at it while you squirm in fear. GHE is subtle in the most obvious way, obvious in the most subtle way, and most importantly, IT'S COSMIC HORROR, BABY!!! THERE IS A PLANET IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM THAT GOT HERE UNINVITED AND NOW IT WANTS TO EAT US!!! UGHHHH I can't put in words why I think it's so good, it just is. Watch it. The Gardeners are cute, I swear. There's even a plush of them.
Monument Mythos: something something alternate realities, something something time loops. I have not watched all of it, barely even half, but I deemed it a little bit too confusing for my brain. BUT! If you're into things that boogle your mind, you might really like this series! I mean, world monuments are alive, what could be scarier?
Vita Carnis: EW. (affectionate)
But, seriously, if you like gross, you are certainly going to like this series. It's meat, and it's alive. Although, I did stop watching it because it got a tad too graphic and violent for my taste, but if that doesn't bother you, then I recommend it a lot! The editing is soooo good, and some of the creatures are very likable and cute ^v^ (the others are gross and I do not want them near me I do not WANT FUCK OFF)
Don't Look at the Moon: Minecraft spooky. Do I need to say more?

On 10 Years of Mid-City Island
I was painstakingly self-conscious in the beginning of my career. I’d grown up accustomed to writing in a vacuum, in my childhood bedroom, in my dorm room, hiding my songbook inside my mattress or at the bottom of a drawer. I always thought I’d get to make my first recordings in total obscurity, clumsily clanging around.
But months before I began recording my first EP, things blew up.
After a few shows and 2 bedroom recordings, seemingly everyone from the Los Angeles music scene was suddenly peering into my window, waiting to see what my first offering would be, hoping for commodifiable gloss. I was wined and dined and unrefined.
But I didn’t want to record the “R&B record” that would make me famous. I wanted to make something experimental akin to the early recordings I loved – Linda Perhacs’ Parallelograms; Sufjan Stevens’s A Sun Came; the scratchy musings of Cody ChestnuTT and Milton Nascimento; the kitchen candor of Jessica Pratt. Instead I was often shipped to fancy producers’ and execs’ home studios and offices, forced to listen to them preach about how I was a star-in-waiting. I didn’t want to be a star. I wanted to be honest.
But secretly, I did feel like a star. Gaseous and infinite, distant and intangible, shining bright in the middle of a constellation, unable to touch the celestial bodies around me. I scribed “Man on the Moon” on a red guitar I bought on sale from a shuttering music store.
In one of these producer meetings, I journeyed to the top of a mountain to meet TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek. He gave me a four-track recorder and told me to say “f*ck off” to everyone trying to sign or produce me. He told me to find my own voice or others would find it for me. He taught me how to record myself to tape, sparking an affinity for analogue processes. I “borrowed” the tape recorder, promising I would come back when I had found my sound. It sits now on the topmost shelf in my home studio. I guess I’m still searching.
Mid-City, Los Angeles was more of a concept than a place. Seemingly nobody had ever heard of it, and yet it was the geographic center of the city. Living there felt analogous to my disposition as a “rising” Angeleno – highly visible and invisible at the same time. It was an urban island and the sun beat its concrete ceaselessly. I sat on my bedroom floor and wrote “Plastic,” listening to Amy Winehouse demos and thinking about how we let our stars fall as long as they entertain us on the way down.
I recorded these misgivings straight to cassette on that Yamaha MT4X, feeling like a historian tracing my own origins. I loved that it sounded older than it was. I felt older than I was. I decided then that I would press it to vinyl in 10 years. I couldn’t afford to make vinyl records anyway. Instead, I backpacked little cassette tapes I would sign and sell at shows.
I realized early on that being visible (but not necessarily seen) was just gonna be a part of my story. How blessed I was to push through it with clear vision – and now I’m forced to stop and reflect. 10 years later, I’m still thinking 10 years ahead. Ask me about now in 10 years. Shoot, ask me in 20.
- M

[Himawari's and Mitsuki's feelings towards Boruto and Kawaki explains the nature of Kawaki's desire.]
According to my interpretation, Kawaki whimsically wished he was in Boruto's place because it'd be easier to get ride of Momoshiki by killing himself since from his pov, he's an unworthy outsider nobody would grieve in contrast to Boruto who belongs to Konoha and is loved by everyone. Himself included.
Boruto and Kawaki are Otsutsuki, therefore the wish didn't affect them. However Eida can't control Omnipotence so Kawaki's wish got reflected on the whole planet instead, much like how her own desire got fulfilled.
[Himawari]
TBV ch1 emphasized how despite nothing making sense anymore (Kawaki being remodeled, not having Momoshiki, having Isshiki's karma and Shinjutsu ..etc), Omnipotence forced them to still recognize Kawaki in Boruto's place.
Many people tried to associate Kawaki's desire with everything vile, ranging from "He is jealous and wants what Boruto has" to "He wants Boruto hated like him " and so on.
But ch1 of TBV showed Himawari still being able to think and feel what she wants regarding who she views as Kawaki (Boruto now).
Himawari is 100% affected with no resistance. She has no doubts (anymore) about Kawaki being Boruto and vice versa as she's under Omnipotence's control like everyone else.
What she doubts, and affirmatively doesn't believe or want to believe, is the premise of Kawaki killing Naruto.
Unlike everybody else, Himawari lived with the guy. She knows what kind of person he is, especially his unconditional affection to Naruto and his self-sacrificial tendencies for her family.
She's positive Kawaki didn't kill Naruto, and if "That was the case" then he's in some kind of deep trouble because he would never kill Naruto if he was in his right mind.
She still possesses the freedom to think what she wants of "Boruto", proving Kawaki didn't want the real Boruto to be hated or viewed in any kind of light for the purpose of killing him.
[Mitsuki]
Mitsuki is one of those who got brainwashed way too easily without a single moment of doubt in ch79.
He got no resistance whatsoever to Eida's Omnipotence, however he questioned if Kawaki was his sun in TBV ch1.
Many of us took this as him questioning the identity of Kawaki being Boruto because he is not what he remembers.
However now I believe he's questioning if the Hokage's son was his sun altogether from get go.
See, Mitsuki's existence was over-elaborated to him as this "moon" who needs a "sun" otherwise he'll fall into darkness.
He didn't exactly choose who his sun will be, or if he really needs one to begin with. It was all Orochimaru's unethical social experiment.
Regardless, he followed Orochimaru's will anyways and befriended Boruto who was all sunny and radiates positive energy. He was like a study case for Mitsuki to observe and follow until he can be his own person.
As of now, he didn't know what "love" is until he was charmed by Eida and questioned if it's even hard to tell how you feel about someone during his conversation with Sarada.
Mitsuki is unable to feel deep feelings on his own, he's like a parasite who feeds off other people's feelings instead.
He was comfortable with Orochimaru's choice of sun for the stated reasons above. Mitsuki went as far as stating Boruto will never change- he NEEDS him to stay the same, otherwise the whole formula of his existence crumbles.
Kawaki, wants nothing to do with that.
He's the exact opposite of the real Boruto in terms of personality- he radiates negative energy.
He can't fullfill Mitsuki's existential needs.
From Mitsuki's pov, "Boruto" had changed. He is no longer qualified to be his sun. Especially after Kawaki basically rejected him.
The whole "Moon" and "Sun" analogy went over Mitsuki's head. What he understood from it is having to be attached to Boruto's hip all the time so he can suck the light outta him, while it was about learning how to be a normal human from him.
Mitsuki's development is likely going to end with him realizing he needs no sun. Not Kawaki, not Boruto or anybody.
Either thar or dies chasing an illusion installed in him by his twisted parent.
Back to the topic, Mitsuki's case is similar to Himawari's. He is controlled by Omnipotence but still able to form his own impression of who he thinks is Boruto.
Which in contrast to Hima, it's negative.

I've been thinking about the eclipse all day. I feel like movies and shows use the eclipse as something dramatic and thrilling, but my experience was very peaceful and comforting. When the sky got dark, the sun felt harsher and more scorching in the brief seconds I accidentally looked at it, all the way up to when the moon totally covered it and it was suddenly like this soft and beautiful nightlight. Like the eye of a hurricane. I can't help but think about the knight of dawn and Silver. They could only be together for a few moments in time, and fate just couldn't keep them together, but I imagine the little minutes they had were quiet and sweet
oh anon, this is so bittersweet and precious, i love this analogy.
we know from ch7 so far that the knight died shortly after silver's birth. we also know that the time of silver's birth was a tumultuous one for the knight and his kingdom, with warring factions of other human nations vying for control and pushing the boundaries of their borders. with this in mind, it's devastating to realize how little time he got to spend with his newborn child— a child he loved so dearly, and enough to willingly sacrifice himself in a desperate bid to protect their existence. it's even worse when you realize that there seems to be no mention of silver's kingdom in twst's history books— the only connections that silver has to his birth father are lilia's memories and the ring around his neck. there are no stories that exist for silver to understand his father, to learn not just of his character, but who he was as a person. who was the knight? how did he fall in love with silver's mother? what kind of food did he like? what was his favorite color? did he cry when silver was born? did he hold his son close and whisper a long-dead name with such fragile tenderness, did he look at silver as if he saw the sun itself and was blinded by love?
i like to imagine what those few stolen moments of peace might have been— the felt animals that the knight sewed by hand clutched in silver's baby-fat fingers, the cascade of the knight's hair like a gold curtain over his son's face as he hums a lullaby and spins him slowly around a richly decorated room. the awe in the knight's eyes as he dares to touch the soft cheek of a creature so pure and innocent, born of him and yet with none of the bloodstained shadows in his wake. the way his heart must have ached at the giggles of his son, an already happy child, as the babe stuck fistfuls of golden hair into his mouth and blew bubbles around them.
he loved his child, his little prince, his sun in the dawn sky. he loved his child enough to die for him.
in any case, i'm so glad to hear you got to savor that special moment during the eclipse. i know i was stunned into silence staring up at the halo of totality, looking up at something so magnificent that it truly made me feel how tiny and in awe i am of the miraculous wild world that we live in <3 we really experienced a once in a lifetime event and i'm so thankful for it.
(may i also offer: killswitch lullaby - flawed mangoes is a piece that i often have on repeat when i'm thinking about silver and the knight; those dreamy and peaceful, what could have been vibes for something so far off in the nostalgic distance)

halbarry but the "your the sun, you've never seen the night" part from your best american girl by mitski (further putting my barry's the sun and hal's the moon point)
It's such a cute analogy that I definitely love to make.
I know at first glance it might seem like Barry would be the night and Hal would be the day, but definitely, Hal would be the night and see Barry as the day. Because to Hal the day is bright and beautiful, it's everything he's ever wanted to be. Sure the night is dazzling and has many people in love with him, but the night is madly in love with the day, despite knowing that the day could never look at him.
And Hal aches to know that his day (Barry) could never look at him because he's not worthy of him, but still, despite not being someone important, smart and being a constant failure as he probably looks. He would be willing to do anything to make her day well and happy, even if it means he could never be by her side.
Hal doesn't care if Barry never gets to look at him with a fraction of the love he feels for Barry, he just wants Barry to hear the song of the birds, that song that he night in and night out strives to sing so that Barry will always know he is loved even if he never knows why.
Because the way Hal shows love is with small acts that in the eyes of many seem simple and stupid, but that make that person feel special. Because he would like to someday feel just as loved.
Hal knows that Barry's friends would never approve of their relationship, and he understands them even though it hurts.
But Hal knows he is not worthy of Barry's pure love and will always settle for being the night he admires the day, unable to reach him, but wishing in his heart of hearts that someday the day might realize the song he loves so much is Hal who sings it every night thinking of him.

Hey guys! Um.. I'm not frequently on this hashtag and just came here to adress that Melanie Martinez songs make a perfect playlist for Sun and Moon. It's been years since the release of Security Breach and still this day I never found anyone talking about that (believe me, I search everywhere from time to time in years (when my hyperfixation starts again lol)) and I'm starting to believe that if I don't say anything, no one will. So umm yeah I don't want to make a big post I just wanna point it out
If you're here in Tumblr and you're interacting with fandoms for a really long time you probably heard at least one of her songs before. Basically for those interested she makes songs with childish aesthetics and serious themes. Her most recent album is more fairycore though, but the first ones aren't.
She has an album called Cry Baby (it's about a disturbed childhood), an album called K-12 (it's about school), and an EP called After School (inspired by school themes but more inspired in the artist's life) and they fit Sun and Moon very well
Also I wanted to add that some of her best gems are unreleased, and like, there are some really good stuff that fit Sun and Moon, you just need to search for it
The songs that fit them most are the first ones of the list, the rest is more like,,, they fit them well but not like the first ones ya know what i mean
That's my mini list of recomendations if anyone is interested;
(if you're going to make a playlist for YouTube be careful with the unreleased ones, Melanie tends to delete them from time to time):
Unreleased- Twins (this one sounds like it was made for them. Want me to put all the lyrics here? Okay then.)
Unreleased- Toy Chest ("clean up, clean up, everybody, everywhere" (it's from Barney))
Unreleased- Arts and Crafts (creating the perfect bf on arts and crafts)
Released- Glued (she's sad and talking about how her sadness is glued to her like school glue)
Unreleased- Night Mime (she's sad and silent during the night like a night mime. She's waiting for the sunrise so that she can be happy again)
Released- Tag, You're It (she's being chased by a big bad wolf while making analogy to a tag game. It sounds like a little childhood game but the chaser is very sinister and want to do bad things to her)
Released- Teddy Bear (this one fits the whole franchise. Her "teddy bear" (probably a metaphor for an important person in her life, maybe her boyfriend or best friend) was sweet to her before, now he's trying to kill her. "You were my teddy bear, you were comforting and quiet, how did love become so violent?". This was released in 2015, if you're here in the fnaf fandom for a really long time or in the whole fandom part of the internet by itself you know this one. It brings me a lot of memories. How I miss the 2010's)
Released- Sippy Cup (you can try to hide your problems but they're always there. "Blood still stains if the sheets are washed". Even if you always try to keep the lights on, that animatronic killed kids inside the daycare and it can happen again if the lights go out. Oh-oh :c
Released- Carousel (you proably heard this one before let's be real)
Released- Drama Club (theatre!!! Yay)
Released- Show And Tell (She's tired, as an artist, of always playing a character in front of everyone. It's the ventrilocus noises for me)
Released- The Contortionist (idk it's the vibe)
Unreleased- Schizo ("i don't know who you are 'cause I don't know who i am, how can we learn how to love if you change your mind again? I don't know who to be, who do you want me to be?")
Released- Alphabet Boy (a rude boy is telling her how much smarter he is than her for knowing how to spell and write the ABCs)
Released- Lunchbox Friends (we are best friends forever yipee🫶🫶🤝)
Unreleased- Unhappy meal (inspired by McDonalds. Idk it just makes me think of sun)
Released- Pity Party (it's her birthday party and nobody showed up. Then she tries to play pretend with her toys and teddy bears, but she still know that she's alone and ends up destroying her party and stabbing her toys with knives. She's tired of being alone. :(
Released- Fire Drill (she's in a fire, it's the song that plays after the end of the K-12 album. It sounds like a nursery rhyme. There are children singing with her.)
Released- Dollhouse ("everyone seems to be perfect, please don't let them look through the curtains, DOLLHOUSE, I see things that nobody else sees" (again y'all probably know that one))
Released- Play Date (being romantically used by someone while doing analogies to games and toys)
Small list of songs that deserve to be mentioned but don't make a lot of sense like the last ones, it's just the vibes: The whole After School EP, the whole Cry Baby album, Gingerbread Man, Lost and Found, Patient, Papercuts, ZZZZ
There are also some fan-made type beats, since Melanie's community also sometimes link her to jesters and clowns and also make songs about her already released albums, so like here are some: Class Clown, Naptime, Fire Alarm, Janitor's Closet (I love this one sm!!), Punishment
All of those type beats have their own artists, some of those artists even sell them, so make sure if they are free to use if you want to make a playlist, but I guess it's okay to listen to them for fun since they were posted on youtube
Tell me what you think about those. I love interacting with people who like the same things as me 🫶🫶

[TRANS] IU 꽃갈피 (Flower Bookmark) Album Introduction and Song Introductions
ALBUM INTRODUCTION
The trail of memories that does not fade over time
IU’s Special Remake Album [Flower Bookmark]
A book that I took and dusted off from an old library. As I turn the pages one by one, there are times when I find old four-leaf clovers or flower petals that are inserted like bookmarks. It’s a pristine and beautiful trace of a gift that contains someone's sincerity long ago. Along with it comes the memorable pieces of writing that are underlined on each page. This 'Flower Bookmark' may be one of the symbols of youth culture that show the romance and sentiments of the past analog generation which are slowly being forgotten these days.
A trail of memories transcending generations that does not fade over time and makes you want to take them out (Note: to reminisce about them) again. IU's special mini-album contains the meaning of discovering ‘flower bookmarks’ in the music of the previous generation, reinterpreting them with her own emotions and voice and presenting them as a gift to listeners of the current generation. The seven songs were selected by IU, who enjoys listening to old songs in her own time, and reflect her unexpected feelings as if receiving an exciting gift when she first discovered these songs. She worked on the remake album by preserving the original songs’ emotions to the best she could, while weaving in her own style. ‘Flower Bookmark’ will be a gift for the many fans who like IU's analog emotions, which has been a hot topic through her acoustic guitar covers on broadcasts, as well as an album that provides an opportunity to once again reflect on the meaning of these classics and appreciate them for a long time, through the stimulating music.
SONG INTRODUCTIONS
01. 나의 옛날이야기 (My old story)
Originally sung by Cho Deok-bae
Lyrics by Cho Deok-bae
Composed by Cho Deok-bae
Arranged by Kim Je-hwi
The house across the alley from the window, the heart of a boy who had a crush on a girl
Cho Deok-bae, a singer-songwriter who composes sophisticated melodies that do not become outdated and has a voice that rings in our ears. The song “My Old Story” by singer-songwriter Cho Deok-bae, well-known as a singing minstrel (Note: medieval singer who sang or recited lyrics or poetry to musical accompaniment for the nobility), originated from a love letter that he wrote in his college notebook in 1973 when he was in middle school, but eventually failed to give to someone. The song which he had kept for a long time without a title, was eventually released as “My Old Story” in 1985 and received a lot of love.
IU's “My Old Story” is not a remake that reinterprets the song through its musical form and modern techniques, but rather an emotional remake that depicts the original song's anxious sentiments back in those days from a girl's point of view, like a response to the crush. Guitar and piano melodies played by the arranger and singer-songwriter Kim Je-hwi harmonize with the performance of the string quartet and accordion artist Jin-sun, opening the door to the emotions and romance of the analog generation.
02. 꽃 (Flower)
Originally sung by Kim Kwang-seok
Composed by Moon Dae-hyun
Lyrics by Moon Dae-hyun
Arranged by G.Gorilla
The late Kim Kwang-seok, who was like a pillar of Korea's modern folk music, released ‘Flower’ as the 2nd track on his 2nd album in 1991.
Sung by IU, ‘Flower’, began with a longing for ‘him’, whom the narrator raised alone. The selection was a difficult enough choice in itself, as it was difficult to deny the perspective that the remake was riding on the original song's inherent value. The lyrics are close to ‘poetry’ and neatly arranged to match ‘him’, but it is a very tricky song to give emotions to and IU's vocals, Hwang Min-woong's classical guitar and the quartet cross each other's boundaries and bring out a constant tense atmosphere.
03. 삐에로는 우릴 보고 웃지 (Pierrot laughs at us)
Originally sung by Kim Wan-sun
Composed by Son Moo-hyun
Lyrics by Lee Seung-ho
Arranged by Lee Jong-hoon
The million-selling track by Kim Wan-sun, who solidified her position as the best female solo artist in the 1990s with her unique concepts and unconventional performances that had never been seen before in the music industry previously.
IU's ‘Pierrot Laughs at Us’ attempts a drastic change as an extension of the original song concept, with composer Lee Jong-hoon's colorful arrangement using mechanical vocal effects and the emotional part of the song being sung calmly without emotional fluctuations, which stands out from existing IU songs. On top of the solid rhythm led by jazz drummer Lee Sang-min's powerful groove, Hong Joon-ho's guitar, Choi In-sung's bass and Hong So-jin's keyboard accompaniment were combined to complete a monotone analog sound.
04. 사랑이 지나가면 (When love passes by)
Originally sung by Lee Moon-sae
Composed by Lee Young-hoon
Lyrics by Lee Young-hoon
Arranged by G.Gorilla
The biggest hit of 1987 which officially sold more than 2 million copies for the first time in Korean music history.
‘When love passes by’ was written by the late composer Lee Young-hoon, who was Lee Moon-sae’s best musical partner, and was praised for having a perfect harmony of popular appeal and musicality. The collaboration between the two artists is full of memories and IU shows a different charm from Lee Moon-sae's feelings of affection in the original song, which brings back memories of a breakup. This new version of ‘When love passes by’ also talks about a sad breakup, but IU maintains a restrained singing voice that does not lean towards intense sadness, through her uniquely transparent singing tone contained in the song by arranger G. Gorilla, and stays faithful to the original song's emotions like a trace of memories that remain the same even as generations change.
05. 너의 의미 (Meaning of you) (Feat. Kim Chang-wan)
Originally sung by Sanwoolim
Composed by Kim Chang-wan
Lyrics by Kim Han-young
Arranged by Ko Tae-young
The band ‘Sanwoolim’, a pioneer of Korean groups that was evaluated as the most unconventional along with their themes from novel to simple music and could not be limited to the specific genre of rock music.
Sanwoolim's 1984 song ‘Meaning of you’, sung by IU, contains Kim Chang-wan's style throughout the whole song, from designing the emotions of the vocals to featuring in the song itself. The ingenious Kim Chang-wan collaborated with IU and took the lead naturally in the recording studio, in a manner very much similar to Sanwoolim's music, with unembellished emotions from the original song that resonate with listeners from all generations.
Guitarist Ko Tae-young's arrangement ended with a warm sound combining Go Shin-jae's Bass, Chung Dong-yoon's Drum, and Song Sung-kyung's Hammond Organ accompaniment.
06. 여름밤의 꿈 (Dreams in summer night)
Originally sung by Kim Hyunsik
Composed by Yoon Sang
Lyrics by Yoon Sang
‘Dreams in summer night’ is a song released in 1988 by the late Kim Hyun-sik, an indispensable name in the history of Korean pop music.
‘Dreams in summer night’ is also known as the debut song of singer-songwriter Yoon Sang. Twenty-six years ago, the demo tape, which contained the original emotions of young songwriter Yoon Sang, intertwined with the coarse voice of the late Kim Hyun-sik, became very popular in those days. Yoon Sang, who already understands IU well through the songs ‘Only I didn’t know’ and ‘Sleeping Prince’, personally shared his feelings as follows:
“‘Dreams in summer night’ is the first song I completed when I started composing in high school. I’m grateful towards Kim Hyun-sik, who sang this song for the first time and this song has created opportunities for me to connect with others (Note: other musicians and singers). I'm thankful to IU for choosing this song. Personally, I think it was a good choice to only have piano accompaniment this time. The reason being that I was able to capture IU's voice as it is. IU, who was born many years after this song was released, finished recording the song with only four takes, comfortably singing it as if it was her own song that she had been singing for a long time. I've recorded a lot of songs with IU so far, but this was a moment that took me by surprise. I hope all of you can feel the pureness that I felt, like the pleasant and slow wind of a summer night.” (From a Yoon Sang interview)
07. 꿍따리 샤바라 (Boom Ladi Dadi) (Feat. Clon)
Originally sung by Clon
Composed by Kim Chang-hwan
Lyrics by Kim Chang-hwan
Arranged by Kim Jong-min
The title song of Clon’s debut, ‘Boom Ladi Dadi’, swept the nation in 1996 with its intense jungle sound and performance.
The reason it becomes a hot topic every year when the weather gets hot, such that it is called the summer vacation song, is the unique coolness of the song and the consolation message that people of all ages can easily relate to. IU's ‘Boom Ladi Dadi’, with its ukulele tune and calm Hawaiian Hula rhythm, conveys a comfortable feeling like a break from the frustrations and annoyances of daily life, with a tune like the sound of waves in the night breeze and the rap part, in which Clon himself featured in, adds fun for the listener, in a very different tone from the intensity of the original song.

You're probably not gonna listen, but allow me to explain why The Moon Will Sing by The Crane Wives is Jevon coded.
The common this fandom has used to explain Jevon is with planets or anything astronomical related.
Devon is either the moon or a star, and Jake is the sun or an astronaut, or commonly he's the moon and Devon is the sun.
The Moon Will Sing tackles this metaphor and holds it in a chokehold, because truth be told; the moon doesn't have light. No, the sun reflects its own light onto the moon so the moon can produce what we call "moonlight" and Devon actually seems pretty moon coded, if you really think.
And the sun and moon don't follow each other, the moon follows the sun. So for this fandom to take that analogy and make it into a romantic trope actually says some pretty sad but inevitably true things about the relationship between Jake and Devon.
This song can perfectly explain S1 and 2, and possibly three. This song in question feels like Devon finally realizing that he could've been anything and anyone but instead he chose to blindly follow his partner, even if he didn't know where they were going. In his confession, he says that he's always been with Jake every step of the way, so this checks out.
Devon feels that his identity itself has sadly become entirely up to Jake, and is sad and resentful of that single fact. In S2, he basically tells us that he feels that he's been completely robbed of a life he wanted to live, but was unable to. And while Jake exerts an unhealthy level of control of Devon's life, Devon probably sees it as a normal couple thing and Jake probably isn't aware of it because his father had an unhealthy level of control over his life as well.
Although Devon seems tired of following Jake and only shining with his light, he feels the only good and beautiful parts of him and his life that are worth looking at is because of Jake, which is why he doesn't want to leave the relationship that is slowly becoming a little toxic.
This is why in some scenes, like S1, Devon is always full of light or near some type of light or in the sunlight, that's how Jake sees him.
But in S2, Devon is more represented with the moon, and darkness, symbolizing that Jake only saw him as the moon; someone who would follow him and couldn't shine without his light, or without his love.
In S3, both Jake and Devon are always both in the dark or they're both in the light, meaning Jake and Devon finally sees them equals, and they're no longer having a weird power dynamic in their relationship.
I feel like in S2, Devon was probably (hopefully) purposefully put in dark places or in the moonlight because he resides in it, and the moon and Devon himself have similar struggles; following their bright partners blindly and not being able to shine or have an identity without their partners help, but not quite ready to leave or speak up about it yet.
There's no doubt in my mind Devon had some pretty harsh things to say about the dynamic in their relationship in S2, but I'm glad he semi-spoke up and Jake filled in the blanks of his speaking up for him.
We gotta admit, this show is in Jake's POV. We're kinda watching through his and other's eyes, but when it comes to his family, we're mostly watching through his POV So I'm actually kinda happy that Jake and Devon are finally either in the dark together or in the sun together; a ride or die relationship that they both deserve.
Or maybe none of this is true, I'm delusional ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This analysis is insane and amazing and I just know that Don is nowhere near as smart or creative enough to think like you do—

Ooooh, now I’ve actually never heard the song but I’m definitely gonna go listen to it now, I love the amount of thought and detail you’ve gone into with this. It does seem very Jevon coded especially with their development and dynamic together. Knowing Don he probably didn’t think of it and it’s a coincidence but who knows

When Astrology Meets Aesthetics
I can't seem to get away from the exploration of aesthetics or just general navel-gazing about how I present myself to the world in my day-to-day life. So I've decided to lean in and continue the exploration until I bore myself to death and move on.
In this post, I engage in pairing astrology with aesthetics and where I think my lifestyle reflects my astrological vibration. (So if you're into aesthetics, but not astrology or astrology, but not aesthetics, this post may not interest you.)
A quick note: Some of the traits, colors, or activities I do on a regular basis aren't mentioned below because it's something I think all of the aesthetics I embody are known for, so it doesn't really belong to just one of them. (For example, eating in or hanging out in cafes while reading, writing or people watching. I feel that activity really belongs to all of the aesthetics below.)
Enough introductory explanation, let's dive in ...
Pisces Sun
- Art Academia (An aesthetic centered around the creation and enjoyment of art. It is similar to Light Academia and Dark Academia in its value of studying, dedicated practice of learned interests, 18-19th century-inspired aesthetics, and architecture, but is unique in focusing primarily on the visual and performing arts.)

Heyy! I will be choosing a match up with a JJK or BNHA (male characters) 😄
Zodiac Sign: Libra Sun, Aries Moon + Cancer Rising
MBTI: INFP
I talk a lot online, but I'm quite the opposite irl lol 😆
I love listening to music, I'm a big fan of Taylor Swift, BTS, Le Sserafim + Melanie Martinez.
I'm into True Crime podcasts (Rotten Mango from Stephanie Soo), Analog Horror stories/theories, & Supernatural Stories.
I'm obsessed with Iced Americanos & Spinach & Fetta cheese pretzels from Starbucks ♡
My hobbies include doing my makeup for fun (just bcs I love feeling pretty) & collecting stickers.
I love receiving letters from friends and my family, I treasure them.
Lastly, I love dainty jewelry like rings/bracelets (sadly, I don't have holes for me to wear earrings 🙃)
Lmao, this was a lot of info 😂 I hope you don't mind 💕
HAWKS FROM BNHA
keigo would be so perfect for you, @luckimoon!!!
the hawks everyone sees is loud and noisy as hell; but the keigo you see is way softer and quieter and more of a person who shows their love through actions than words.
expect hella cute-all caps-bombarded with kaomojis messages from him throughout the day, though, when he is away at work from you! :D
impromptu duet sessions are inevitable in your relationship - be it in the kitchen, in the living room or outside, on the sidewalks, when the two of you are strolling, hand in hand. i can also see the man serenade you with songs and the widest grin ever splitting his face into two.
hawks would totally accompany you in listening to the true crime podcats and horror stories and supernatural stories, occasionally dropping his opinions or observations. (all in a quiet tone, though! so as to not break your attention on what you're listening to. :])
expect a delivery via air of your fave drink and food, everyday, or at least every alternative day, at your workplace/college - courtesy of your caring boyfriend. (you ask him to stop it, but know very well, he won't. the man's down bad for the dazzling smile you reward him with whenever he arrives with your food. and if he gets that prize, what's listening to an hour of lecture on how to stay discreet, huh? :D)
uhhh, i don't wanna expand on this a lot, since this is more or less a sfw blog — but whenever you wanna do your makeup, please make sure your schedule is free for quite some time after. you are already beautiful as you are to your lover but whenever you do your makeup... it's more your satisfied smile and confidence than the makeup, which makes keigo go kinda... ykw, i'm just gonna leave this here, to your imagination. ;)
expect letters when he is away and letters when he is home, from your lovestruck boyfriend. and they can range anywhere from cutesy stuff like 'i love you, my birdie' to poetic stuff like 'you have bewitched me, body and soul'. (also, they can be found anywhere. from the letter box of your home to inside the fridge to inside the bathroom cabinet. :D)
the man would totally be up for trying new rings and bracelets with you. and so what if your ears don't have the piercings for earrings? if you wanna get them pierced, he will be the most supportive lover ever, holding your hand and encouraging you. if you don't wanna, then still no biggie! he'll gladly get his own ears pierced for you to try new earrings on him! :]
CELEBRATIONS ARE CLOSED NOW :)

Thoughts on Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc
Just my raw thoughts not a review or anything
I talked about junk food media not too long ago in the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire ramble but well now we reach Demon Slayer which brings in a similar but different analogy, Demon Slayer is basically a really cool anime fight AMV that is very reliable to quench the thirst for stupid shonen shit my brain has sometimes. As always the story presented is mostly average with Tanjiro just traveling to the swordsmith village to get his sword repaired after it shattered (again) during the Red Light District arc and of course they get attacked by a couple of upper moons (again) and is joined by a pair of Hashira instead of his usual three man team. The plot and characters as always are average but that's not what we came here for, how good are the music and fight scenes? Still pretty good all things considered, I’ve heard issues with the pacing of this specific arc but I’ve never seen a Demon Slayer anything week by week so for me it's just a big long fight scene that flows pretty alright with some really good choreography when it tries to wow you with the skill of the Hashira or the relentlessness of Tanjiro and Nezuko, first for the Hashira is the second one introduced but the one that is more present in the story The Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokido who is overall a pretty boring character with a stupid backstory about his amnesia for a single event that makes it very nonsensical timeline wise how he became a Hashira let alone one strong enough to beat an upper moon by himself when Rengoku and Tengen failed and struggled respectively, he is fine I guess but he is helped a lot by a neat breath style and being one of two Hashira that show up in this arc as The Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji stands out so much more not only because or her insane banger of a theme which is one of the best in the series channeling a lot of the things that make Fate soundtracks so good while mixing it with the more streamlined flow of Demon Slayer battle music to make her appeal stronger as it mixes with her ribbon dancing inspired fighting style and cheesy stupid technique names to make her extremely charming and fun to be around even when her story is also very lacking an nonsensical with the people considering her brutish and ugly for some reason when before this even during the previous events of the arc everyone find her incredibly attractive so I don’t know I guess the author just didn’t know how to write backstories in general because almost all of them are pretty bad and mostly a vehicle for stupid plot contrivances (see being resistant to demon poison because Inosuke grew up in a mountain) but whatever as again it’s not what we come here for. As for Tanjiro he is alright, he fights with an upper moon by himself mostly and besides Mitsuri stalling the ultimate super form of it does most of the work defeating it as Genya and Nesuko are mostly tools to enhance him because of course, his choreography is pretty good but lacks the impact that made the earlier seasons work especially at the end when they try to shoehorn a sad scene with Nezuko that completely fails to manifest any emotion while he delivers the final blow making it feel less important and then completely demoting the moment when it's revealed that for some reason she is now immune to the sun and can talk kind of normal (the way they make her speak is really annoying) so everything that made her different is kind of gone, she is just a demon human ally now which is fine but less interesting than what we had before when she still had a few issues that dragged her back.
Again as said previously its fine but nothing special, if you crave action shonen garbage and have a few hours to burn it's a fun watch but don’t expect anything special out of Demon Slayer.
