I am in need of help, this isn't urgent "life-or-death", but it is genuine. I've been struggling a lot with familial issues these past months, and I don't feel comfortable being around family members I currently live very close to, I'm willing to completely cut ties with them. I wish I could live alone but currently that is not what is safest for my mental conditions, and also because I need to take care of 3 pets. However, to move out, I'm also going to have to quit my job, which is currently my only source of reliable income. I'm not asking for donations, I'm willing to draw pretty much anything to earn at least enough to move to somewhere better.

genuine question to my fellow artists. I'm struggling with finding a proper place to post suggestive/nsfw art??? Like, I know Tumblr had (supposedly) been allowing it as long as there's filters, but doesn't it just hides these posts as much as it can? I don't feel like creating a Twitter or BlueSky (?) account, but maybe I'm being too stubborn for my own sake. Suggestions?

screw this shit 🔥🔥🔥 I'm forcing myself to make a comic, I hate writing 💥💥💥

I have this Murder Drones AU/sequel concept I want to share but I don't know how. On one hand I could make it into a comic. But I'd probably get burnt out after the first page. On the other hand I could write fanfiction. But I hate writing and am terrible at it

Long story short my best course of action is to cry

Watched Inside Out 2 with my mom (surprisingly without a lot spoilers like I usually do when I watch something new) and honestly, I liked it! But! I can totally see why some people disliked it. It's actually an issue with most of the recent Disney and Pixar movies. They're trying to be more "relatable" (pop, internet culture references) and it has been coming at the cost of actually making their movies better.

Personally, I'll admit I spent a good portion of the movie waiting for it to get better than the first one, and it did! The near-ending/end really delivered! Good God I am a sucker for anxiety attack scenes. I am easy to please -.-

I do have my own portion of criticism, thouh. The story honestly felt rushed, it didn't have as much emotional weight as the first movie (like, the whole story carrying out to the ending. It felt like the ending was its own thing, does that make sense?), and,, I'll be the one to say it, I didn't like the animation quality. It all felt artificial, if that makes sense? The lighting was good, I'll give it that, but the characters and the scenarios all look like plastic, and not "cartoon plastic", I mean "why does everything look like it was dipped in grease?"

All that being said, I love anxiety and her little freak design. And overall, I thought it was ok! :]

Update: apparently the internet culture references aren't a big thing in the english version, it's something from the brazilian adaptation. makes sense, honestly. will be taking that point back
