I have a literal novel I'm supposed to be writing so instead of writing fic I'm just gonna spew my mckay headcanons on here:

- cassie lets her bangs grow out until dana decides they're too long and starts making little comments like 'open the curtains mckay' and then she, without fail, ends up cutting them like 6 minutes before her shift starts

- when she takes harrison out for any sort of sweet treat, she buys the same one as him so when his finishes he can always have her 'leftovers'

- would kill a man for mel. would kill several for javadi

- every halloween she puts shit pranks in the break room, like a bowl of sweets with a plastic spider resting just underneath a mars bar. every year, someone forgets, and the sound of their shout makes her giggle

- really admires collins, like so much... they butt heads sometimes, but cassie needs someone to call her out. probably admires collins and dana TOO much. owing to the fact that cassandra mckay is obviously for the women
