4. I may repeat myself a lot. Forgive me if it sounds really repetative... :( 5. Any points surrounded by - these things - are just things that are unlikely, but I think should still be adressed.

So, the context of these images is Teruko revealing "her secret"; You're constantly blaming yourself for the death of your parents and siblings. It doesn't matter that it's not your fault, just that you didn't go with them.

(pls excuse the shitty quality.) She has to be either lying or MAYBE unsure about her secret. Here's why: 1. She had a conversation with Whit (and technically charles, but he was just listening in) about her family. She reveals that she's never known her parents and grew up in an orphanage. She did grow up with her biological brother, but he was adopted by another family when Teruko was five, and she says she doesn't remember him much.

2. The wording of the secret is quite specific - You're constantly blaming yourself for the death of your parents and siblings. Like I've mentioned, she's never known her parents. Even if she *somehow* knew they were dead, why would she blame herself for it? I could see it maybe working in some way, but the next bit disproves it - SIBLINGS. Teruko has only mentioned having one sibling, and this wording is plural. This secret cannot be hers, she only has one brother. - To add on to this

2.5. Maybe one could argue that siblings and parents could be her friends/people she considered family in the orphanage she grew up in. However, the specific wording of parents and siblings, instead of just using the word "family", makes me think otherwise. - Okay, so let's dissect what this means. - I think if maybe she was unaware/TRULY thought that this was her secret, the only point that would support it is 2.5. Maybe she considered people she grew up with in the orphanage her "parents" or siblings", but its just not very likely. While I wouldn't be surprised if Teruko blew up an orphanage or something (/hj) , I think it's a stretch to say this secret is referring to that. - With that out the way, we come to one conclusion - Teruko is lying about secret. "Amari, we know that already, can we move on??????????" yeah yeah whatever i may have just wanted to rant about teruko. MOVING ON. So, what is Teruko's secret? It's pretty wildly agreed upon that Teruko's secret is the one regarding the killing game, which David recieved - "How could I even select what secret to be your motive? Just about everything you've done in your life is worth killing for. The killing game is all your fault."

We think that this is Teruko's secret because: 1. She's the only one that fits it smh. /hj 2. The guy at the start of the prologue (who is probably xander but that is a WHOLE other theory you can find here ) mentions having to kill Teruko Tawaki (how DARE they) after talking about ending the killing game.

My interpretation of this is that Teruko is the reason the killing game is actually happening, though I doubt she's aware of this/the mastermind (or she could be, idk??). A really good theory that I feel explains what I mean by Teruko causing the KG but not being the mastermind is the time loop theory which is linked here. (accirax i love you for this theory /p) Obviously, this lines up with "The killing game is your fault." 3. David gives her THE LOOK right after she "admits" her secret, which sort of maybe kind of implies that he knows she's lying, which he does, since he has the secret. - As for the remaining secret: Xander's secret (which we assume min recieved) is the one Teruko claimed to have:

"You're constantly blaming yourself for the death of your parents and siblings. It doesn't matter that it's not your fault, just that you didn't go with them." Why do I think this? 1. In Xander's bonus video, it is VERY heavily implied that he has survivor's guilt as well as outright confirmed his family is dead. Go check it out for the full context.

2. Xander's secret message on the DRDT tumblr is the definition of survivors guilt. Really self explanatory, huh?

3. XANDER ACTUALLY HAS MORE THAN 1 FUCKING SIBLING. anyway. okay, this is getting a little confusing to remember, so here: Killing game: Teruko's secret, recieved by David. Survivor's guilt: Xander's secret, recieved by Min. (all remaining secrets remain the same.) MOTIVE

So, why would Teruko lie about her secret? I mean, shouldn't she just point it out? And why didn't David point it out? - 1. Teruko is aware that her secret is the killing game one and is lying because she's the mastermind or something. We see her thoughts, so I really doubt it. To further disprove this theory: Teruko has stated like 15 times (/ex) that she doesn't know which secret is hers, due to her having too many secrets. So, yeah, pretty unlikely she knows which secret's hers. Discard this theory. -

2. a) Teruko doesn't know her secret, but knows it's probably bad, and therefore doesn't want to share it, so she lied. Pretty straightforward, really. Now, for the theory that I think is most likely: 3. Teruko doesn't know which secret is hers, but she knows neither of her secrets are the ones left unrevealed. She knows somebody is lying about a secret - but she's come to the conclusion that secrets are irrelevant to the trial and murder, so she's lying about her secret to avoid everyone getting off track once again.

We know that's she's accidentally led the trial in the wrong direction twice now (motive secrets, time of murder) Also, this is the most in character.

As for David: A. David knows her secret, but keeps it hidden in order to cause distrust and just generally fuck Teruko over. He plans to reveal it either post trial or in a future daily life. B. David knows her secret, but earlier, he and Teruko made a pact to keep it hidden. However, since he's a little bitch boy (/j), he's going to reveal it anyway, either post trial or in a future daily life. - Just to add on to this point ^ - I know Teruko's protag and we see her thoughts and all, but Kaede happened, so I don't think this is out of the question. - I think the most likely combination is point 3. and point A. : Teruko's lying about her secret to avoid the trial heading off topic. David isn't calling her out because he wants to use it in the future to throw suspicion onto Teruko and cause havoc.

SO. Let's recap! Secrets: Teruko: "How could I even select what secret to be your motive? Just about everything you've done in your life is worth killing for. The killing game is all your fault." Received by David. Xander: "You're constantly blaming yourself for the death of your parents and siblings. It doesn't matter that it's not your fault, just that you didn't go with them." Received by Min. Rest remain the same as canon. Why can't Teruko's secret be about her family? 1. Teruko never knew her parents, and never mentions them being dead. 2. Teruko hasn't seen her brother since she was 5, and she never mentions him being dead, just adopted. 3. The wording of the secret refers to siblingS, which is plural. Teruko has only one sibling. 4. The secret fits Xander much better - His secret quote is the defintion of survivors guilt, and his bonus episode heavily implies he has survivors guilt, and it is confirmed his family died in the same bonus episode. Why is Teruko's secret about the killing game?

The first batch of season 2 photos we got were from Vanity fair on august 24th, but those photos plus a bunch of others are now available together somewhere i’ll say in a sec. Here is the article that showed us the first look at s2: VANITY FAIR ARTICLE

So, warner bros discovery gave us an *almost* complete collection of currently released photos. This does include the vanity fair photos but most of these you can’t find anywhere else. they say which episode every photo is from and let you download them too which is pretty cool. The final thing I found was the exclusive photo “The Streamr” posted on twitter. The area circled in red is a hydrostatic skeleton!! A hydrostatic skeleton is basically just a fluid filled cavity that acts as structural support for muscles and organs. Annelids, Platyhelminthes, and even Echinoderms have hydrostatic skeletons!

The bright blue ring I'm pointing to with green arrows are hearts! They're modeled after a worm's! hehehegahha he's such an invertebrate i swear

As for the brightly colored circles, that's really just based on that one cross section we got of Four when he was trying to eliminate Spongey in BFB 16. Realistically that would be muscles and more organs but I ain't drawing all that.

I didn't add this in but I also kind of have an idea that algebraliens breathe through spiracles just like insects, but theirs have evolved/developed way further and have become very efficient. (spiracles are the least efficient respiratory system irl)

I don't actually think his intestines would have growths like this (think of how little purpose they would serve, and hell they could probably puncture his other organs) but I wanted to pay tribute to the exit lol. I actually think he probably has a specialized organ for the pocket dimension that would rest somewhere in his abdomen. I think it would branch off from his throat much like how the windpipe does! So he does have an actual stomach, he just chooses where stuff goes!

everyone remembers that Dick and Rockso flashed for a second in Murderface’s gay hallucinations. in short even though these flashing images in his head are very random i think they both embody two different sides of open approximate homo-images that he saw live — one positive and the other negative.

Dick is a positive image — Murderface sees in him an attractive personality for him that he respects. he personifies the side of attraction in which deep down in the soul and subconsciously Murderface partly….. wants to believe??? Dick combines those qualities in terms of sexuality/general openness that are absolutely unattainable for Murderface but so fucking desirable. Dick is open, liberated and honest, does not hesitate to flirt and call people sweet nicknames — Murderface can only admire this level of freedom and wish to have such social mobility too (well if he does not have it then at least be next to the person who have it hehehehehh).

Dick is fully clothed but with his legs spread — Murderface respects his loyal openness as a person but is still interested in his physical/sexual mystique.

Rockso is a negative image. he embodies everything that Murderface despises and hates about homosexuality in principle and what homosexuality itself is used to consider — an abomination, debauchery, filth and sexual violence. Murderface is disgusted by Rockso's emancipation because he demonstrates it from the worst side: he shakes balls, flaunts in revealing suits and constantly lies around doped up with drugs. Murderface does not see anything worthy of imitation in Rockso's behavior — he sees only moral rot and he is disgusted by this. he doesnt even think its brutal, he can only hope that everything is not so shitty for himself. obviously, Murderface would not want to resonate with such a thing, but unfortunately, subconsciously this is what happens to him, he literally behaves the same way (this may be another reason for his internal homophobia, he does not want to behave like this but consciousness still tells him to repeat this as a possible reconstruction of trauma).

Rockso is naked and looks quite repulsive, but Murderface, even being traumatized, cannot get such an image out of his head (as usual after such crippling experiences, unfortunately, it happens).

On AI art. I realize this may be unpopular, and it's rambling.

I like it. Setting aside all the issues with it's creation, I love how a lot of it looks. So much is off about many of the images, and yet they possess this magnetic appeal: it's created to be superficially interesting to us, but on examination, many of the details are nonsense. And I fucking love that. I love it. I LOVE the unreal quality. It's like catnip to my brain, it's fantastic. I essentially love it for all the reasons it is detectably fake and not quite right. I love it for the reasons some people say it's shitty.

If it's based on images it scraped without consent, that's morally wrong to profit from. If it's not identified as what it is and something is being sold, that's also arguably wrong. But simply creating it isn't innately wrong, nor is its artificial nature in any way inherently detrimental to its potential as a means of expression. (Labor, length of training, time it takes to create, having no physical presence, NONE of these automatically add or subtract value from art, though all possess potential to do both.)

Many AI artists I watch have stopped tagging their work as such to avoid things like death threats from people specifically searching AI art tags to find people to harass. That is so fucked up. I am not at all fond of how people exploring this medium are being treated, regardless of where their bot gets its data, and I am deeply disgusted by how ableist and foul the dialog around it is. Just about the worst shit I have ever seen.

And I don't like its dismissal as not art because it's "just feeding prompts into a bot". There IS more to it than that, for the people I have been watching. And FFS, the Museum of Non-Visible Art COMPLETELY shatters the idea that four lines of description aren't artistically valuable. I have seen not one valid argument for its wholesale exclusion as an artistic medium, and doubt I will.

This is a matter of ethical means of production. Not whether it is "real" art.

I have been creating and experiencing art my entire life, and continually challenge myself to understand and define my relationship to it by exposing myself to art I admire and also a whole lot of art I don't actually like or see value in or consider successful in the execution of its intent.

After 45 years of disliking a great many things, I think the only thing I understand is this: art is something that happens between the person interacting with it and the work itself, both with the creator as they create, and with the person who winds up experiencing that creation.

I wish more people asked themselves what was happening for the artist, what is happening for them, instead of dismissing art they don't find appealing as "not art".

And we need to stop suicide-baiting people over this horseshit.

I've been thinking about this addition to my aesthetic post from @milesmeles and I wanted to point out that if you do want to buy gear then it's always a good option to support independent sellers!

(It's often cheaper to get stuff from Amazon/Walmart and I understand the need to do so.)

Masks are a great example of this, because they are very elaborate art pieces and by purchasing one from an artist you help support them! And there's nothing against changing or editing a mask you've bought, add a cool chain or an earring or a flower or change up the fur, etc etc etc.

This kind of goes against the anti-consumerism point but I wanted to bring it up anyways because I see a lot of people purchasing gear off of amazon and being upset at the shitty quality when you could be diying it or buying it from an artists who individualizes their pieces :)
