Thank youuuuu for going with my request, loved it soooo much.
Could you maybe do a Daniel x Sunshine set amid Scotty and Chloeâs wedding, and when Chloe throws the bouquet, sunshine catches it, and the entire room looks at Daniel while he blushes.
I saw a reel like this, and i can totally imagine Scotty running up to Daniel and saying âyouâre nextâ lmaođ
So much love~đ
thank you!! and thank you for requesting!đŤśđ˝
.
You had never been to Venice before you joined Daniel as his date to his best friendâs wedding.
It was a beautiful city, one that you had seen countless times in videos and pictures and movies. You always imagined it would disappoint if you ever saw it in real life, maybe that was a reason you always held back from visiting in the free time you had between each half of the seasons.
But when Daniel asked you to join him for Scottyâs weddingâsomeone who you had become close to as wellâyou had no reason to deny the invitation. And you were glad you did because it was even better than any screen or camera could ever capture.
CLICK!
You turned your head, finding your boyfriend grinning behind his camera as he clicked another picture of your expression before setting it down on the table. He reached for your hand, intertwining your fingers together before pressing a kiss to the back.
âWhatâs going on in that pretty head of yours?â Daniel asked, his thumb smoothing over the back of your hand.
âJust thinking,â you murmured with a smile.
He raised his brows. âOh, that canât be good.â
You rolled your eyes but laughed. âItâs justâŚso romantic here,â you said to him with a shrug. âLike, I know people always go on about Paris but thisâŚthis is something else entirely.â
He had a deeply contemplative look on his face. âWould you wanna get married here?â
You blinked, almost like you werenât expecting the question. âI donât know, to be honest.â
âWhere would you wanna get married?â Daniel asked before he flashed you a sheepish smile. âHypothetically.â
âJumping the gun a bit there, Ricciardo,â you mused but there was a smile on your face too.
He just shrugged. âI like envisioning our future. I just wanna know what your version looks like.â
âAnd itâs a wedding?â you asked.
âOur dream wedding,â he corrected as he placed another kiss along your knuckles. âItâs gonna be everything we want and more.â
âAnd more?â you teased. âYouâre making big promises here.â
âAnd I intend to fulfil them all,â he retorted playfully, his eyes glancing down to your lips. You had forbidden him from kissing you before pictures in case it ruined your makeup. But those were over now and there was no reason he couldnâtâ
âBOUQUET TOSS! CâMON UP, LADIES!â
You barely got a chance to say anything as you felt hands pull you off your seat, only having enough time to give your boyfriend an apologetic smile before you were tugged into the crowd of women in the middle of the dance floor.
You stayed back, happy to just observe as Chloe moved to the front, looking like a goddamn Disney princess as she grinned at the crowd before turning her back to everyone and tossing the bouquet of flowers over her head.
You were surprised when you found them heading straight towards you.
You could hear the cheers of the other wedding guests, clapping and laughing as you glanced down at the flowers in your hands, and then almost instantly your eyes went to Daniel.
He was already staring at you, a wide grin spread across his face. He wiggled his brows playfully which only made you laugh with him, despite the heated flush covering your body at all the attention.
Daniel couldnât tear his eyes away from you as Scotty made his way towards him, throwing an arm over his shoulder and giving him a playful shove.
âGuess itâs you next, mate, eh?â Scotty teased.
Though it seems impossible, his grin widened. âHopefully.â

Venice
I went to few cities in Italy, but among all those cities that I went to, I would say Venice is my favourite. They said venice is the city of love (well asides from Paris).
Legend says that if you kiss your partner under this bridge on a gondola ride, you will be together forever. So, I kissed my money. (Will it work the same way?)
Anyways, the fact that venice is such a romantic city isnt exactly why itâs my favourite. The real reason isâŚ.
Yes. Its because of One Piece ! When I first arrived in Venice, I thought to myself that the city looks so similar to water 7 which is a place that exist in One piece, my favourite anime. It is also one of the best arcs for me.The gondola rides, the boats as a transport and the buildings, the environment, it was like I was in water 7 for real. Not to mention how beautiful the scenery was.
Then thats when I found out water 7 is actually inspired from Venice (source from google).I find it interesting that it was inspired by a real city, and down to all the details. Oda is indeed a genius. If you are a one piece fan like me you should definitely visit Venice.

Date Night: Eric Donna, Jackie, Hyde
Characters were chosen as individuals instead of couples, so I'm going to write this answer as the individual characters' ideal date night irrespective who their date might be.
Eric: His ideal date might be on a beach (before he goes to California in 5x01). Playing in the waves, watching the sunset with his date, then making out (or making love).
Also could be going to see the Packers play then making out (or making love).
Or seeing Star Wars then making out (or making love) dressed as Luke and Leia (this is before the characters were made siblings).
Donna: A rock concert, as long as she's not in journalist mode.
Or meeting someone in New York City or London and having an intellectual connection. Her heart will follow.
Jackie: Somewhere fancy and romantic, like Paris or Disneyland (her words). But, yeah, definitely a romantic spot or event. Of course, Jackie is so full of idealized romanticism that she can find any place or event romantic with the person she loves -- like the funeral home closet in "Grandma's Dead" (1x23).
Hyde: Ideal date for him is one that ends in sex. Or starts with sex, continues with more sex, and ends with sex. He can be interpreted as demiromantic and demisexual based on his characterization on the show -- with a high libido.
He's not a sex addict like Kelso, but he enjoys the act of sex. He's essentially stated he doesn't need to be aesthetically attracted to someone to have sex with her. But he can be repelled by someone's personality.
If he has romantic feelings for someone, however, he'd want to talk all night while drinking beer ... and pausing both for sex before going back to talking and drinking. (This is all pre-S5.)
Favorite Memory: Eric, Donna, Jackie, Hyde
Again, the characters were chosen as individuals, so their favorite memory won't be about their romantic relationships.
Eric: His childhood memories with Donna as his first friend and best friend hold one of the highest spots. Any memory of his dad saying he loves Eric or is proud of him. The car ride home with his mom during "Career Day" (1x18). Many more. He probably can't choose just one.
Donna: Her childhood memories with Eric as her first friend and best friend hold one of the highest spots. Watching football with her dad. Her parents renewing their wedding vows. The first time one of her stories is published in the school paper. Meeting musicians through her DJing job at WFPP.
Jackie: Whenever she won awards. Any quality time she's spent with her father. When Donna first called Jackie her friend. Her first time successfully completing a difficult cheerleading stunt.
Hyde: His uncle's visits at home when Bud and Edna were married and after Bud left. His uncle is the only family member (pre-S7) who treated him with respect and unconditional love. He modeled a lot of who he is on his uncle. (This is total headcanon; you'll find it throughout my fanfic and @those70scomics.)
Lots of childhood memories with Eric, Donna, and Kelso. Particularly Eric and Donna. They were his safe place, found family, away from his abusive home.
Childhood memories of Kitty and Red treating him with love and respect.
I should have categorized F as Favorite Memories, not memory singular. đ

Heart to you (Snape X OFC)
26 July, Rome,
"No!" a panicked voice laced with heavy american accent whisper-yelled, "Absolutely not! guys do something!" The person who said to the small group with a sheer frustration. "He is right. Don't be stupid. You are going to get yourself a lots of trouble." They tried to warn their female friend although she is even listening to them.
The girl or it can say a young women like the way she prefers to be addressed, was of a medium height, look little younger than her two friends. She was modestly dressed in a coffee coloured full sleeve full length vintage dress. Her waist length thick and dark purple hairs are left open but styled modestly. Her face, devoid any cosmetics, may not be the most beautiful in the world but the sparkle in the almond-shaped eyes combined with the beaming smile in her lips and her slight dimple of checks, can put every beautiful face into face in shame.
Today she was uncharastically silent, gazing through the hallway window and her clam eyes twinkled with amusement and mischief... the gang knew this look can only means trouble. Some participant while entering the hall as they are the participants of debate competition. When she was done with her inspection she turned to her friends, "We are only here for 3 days and 1 day we've already wasted. I only have today and tomorrow to see the city."
"Sorry to break it to you. we are here for the competition, not to tour the city." one of her friend retorted."
"Correction! you guys are here for competition. I'm here to see the Eternal city." She corrected him. He jumped in and said, "When have I heard this like...oh I forgot you said these when we went to paris for the chess competition." She smiled in a fond memory, Paris was so beautiful!! Their group leader had gotten really angry at her for sneaking out from the group, but couldn't help herself to see the most romantic city in the world from behind a window. There was so much to do, so much to see and she did her best to enjoy every aspect Paris had to offer, did a little shopping, tasted their food, saw the city from top of the Eiffel Tower. Her only regret was she was doing these alone...without him. It was his birthday...she could walk with him beside the Seine River under the glowing street lamps...hand in hand...see the sunset together from the top of Eiffel tower...dance with him under the moon light...
She was lost in her fantasies that she didn't even noticed that her friends were still talking to her. Her hand clasped under chin, blush adore her checks while her eyes sparkle with the colourful dreams..."these is not Paris...these is Ro...Hey are you even listening to me! Hello!! " Her male friend wave his hand in front of her face successfully bring her from her daydreams. "Why are you smiling like that and why the hell are you turning red?" he huffed in frustration. The girl made a annoyed face and threw a glare to her friend for disturbing her dream. "If I got determine by doing anything no one can stop me."
"Whatever!! just do me a favor, don't put yourself at any trouble. by the way our professor is giving us stinky eye. How are you going to convince him to let you go?" Her friend asked. "I've a plan." She said with mischievous smile. She approach to the old man and, "Mr. leonardo! can I please visit the exhibition hall again?" Her request bluffed her friend. The place which she talking about is at the left wing of the building. How was she planning to go outside from there. Maybe she found some secret rout. She is very unpredictable...
"Again? Why?" The person Mr. Leonardo asked perplexed. The placed she already visited yesterday. What is left for her to re-exploring? "I'd like to see the paintings again. They are truly magnificent." By watching the frown at the man's forehead she understood that he still are not going to let her go. "Actually there's one painting of a pond reminds me of my village...my home, It's almost 12 years that I left my home..." Her voice heavy with emotion..."I felt that...I found a piece of my home in this unknown land." She finish her over dramatic speech and her friends just rolled her eyes and mutter, "Drama Queen!" Mr. Leonardo still maintain a stern face and permit her to go. How can he won't. The girl really missing her home. After Mr. Leonardo left her friend warn her, "Victoria be careful!" She nodded her reassuringly and then she was gone.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Victoria walked down the hall and found herself in the left wing, in a big room rows and rows of paintings in ornate carved frames decorated the walls, some were original and some were replicas of famous works from Renaissance era. Her eyes circles the room which was mostly empty, other than a pudgy janitor who was singing an italian song while sweeping the floor to himself there was no one. Her eyes travelled past the janitor over some sculptures then finally on the eastern wall her eyes landen on the painting she was looking for.
Shivering for the cold temperature of the hall she started to walk towards the east wall...Her footstep echoing loudly to the empty room. On her way, when she was passing the pudgy man she smiled warmly at him, in reply the man tipped his head in greetings. She walked to the painting and starts observing it. It was an oil painting of many wooden boat floating on a pond. on the top it started with warm orange and yellow colour at the background, on the right side there was a silhouette of a mansion which looked very familiar. She wasn't lying when she said she liked that painting or that it reminds her of her home. "You are right Victoria." a voice suddenly whisper in her ear. "It's just like the pond which was situated behind our school...or maybe it is still." There are so many things a person could do when they are being seeked up on-they get startled, some jump in surprise, some even squeaked. But Victoria did none of those things, instead her heart fluttered as a huge smile formed on her lips as she turned to face the owner of the voice. The owner of the voice is a young boy probably 16 or 17 years old much younger than her, thin and tall, fare complexion, who was wearing the uniform of Hogwart school. The left side of his robe has a logo said which house he belongs to. His sharp and intelligent eyes was gazing her her with spark of happiness in them. His thin lip stretched in a grin. "See! I was right. You are the only who was auguring with me." She said with a little frown. "Okey...Okey...I'm sorry! Now please forgive me." She said while looking at him, "ummm.....no. You have to convince me." She said while smiling. The boy said, "Hmm...let me think..." He seems in thought suddenly he said, "What about my new spell?" Before Victoria could reply the boy take his wand and move it round to make sparkling at the air. Victoria felt very very delight and her smile is not leaving from her face. Her dimple is flushing over her checks and she was happy beyond her imagination. As her laughter died down she smile longingly at him, "Why don't you stay in front of me always?" As she complained her eyes mist up.
"I may not be in front of your eyes but I'm definitely behind your closed eyes." He said softly, "Won't you see Rome? let's go!" She happily nodded her head, taking his hand in hers she led towards the escaping rout.
To be continue...

The Brotherhood of the Travelling Warlords
Thank you everyone who helped send me armchair travelling around the world (and in some cases, into the past as well). It was a lot of fun to research these places and try to figure out what our warlords would want to check out while they were visiting.
Event summary...
Fifteen postcards written, as requested by fourteen people.
Warlords on the move: Mitsuhide (4), Nobunaga (2), Shingen (2), and Masamune (2) win the frequent flier honors, but Sasuke, Yukimura, Keiji, Mitsunari, and Kennyo also got to do some sightseeing as well.
Of all the places requested, I had been to three: Times Square, Washington DC, and Dublin Ireland. I've been to Chicago before, but not during the 1896 World's Fair.
Warlord who gave me travel-envy. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, New Orleans and Prague, so I would have stowed away in Mitsuhide's suitcase without question.
Places I learned about that I now want to visit: Vigan City and Hoi An Ancient Town.
Place that was a nope... well, we sent Sasuke to an active volcano...
Request that gave me the most difficulty. Rome in 2020, only because I had to do some research to figure out what the COVID restrictions were at that time.
Favorite finished postcard design. I really liked the way Paris France, 1900 turned out. The artwork and graphic design of the era is so very much in my aesthetic sweet spot.
Easter eggs... all of Mitsuhide's postcards have a faint hidden graphic underneath the text of the postcard.
Favorite postcard text - I think I might go with Mitsunari on this one. I figured of all warlords, he'd be the one who started out writing his postcard too big, and be forced to make the lettering get smaller and smaller until he had to write up the side of the card (also he was writing the postcard while on a tour bus for part of the time, so it was a little messy for that reason too). Plus, I just enjoyed thinking of him trapped in Trinity College library and not worried at all about it. Him losing his shoes was a running joke in his longfic, so I stuck that in there too.
Mistakes... I think my biggest planning mistake was not figuring out in advance a couple of the world building issues. Would these warlords be going to a recipient who was currently living in Azuchi (or Kasugayama)? Since some of the requests were anon, or from posters I don't know very well, I made the assumption that the postcard recipient had indeed been previously wormholed into the Sengoku. Also, how would the warlords deal with a language barrier? With that one, I figured that for any warlord travelling to a timeline past (or just around) the 20th century - they could probably find someone who spoke their language (both Kennyo and Masamune went to World's Fairs where there was a Japanese installation). But when Shingen went to Ancient Greece and Mitsuhide went to the Golden Age of India, I figured they would just have to do their best with pointing and making up a sign language as they went along (they're both smart men, they can adapt!). Masamune had less difficulty in medieval Poland, not because he found someone to translate, but because he travelled into a siege situation and I figured he was well enough acquainted with battles that he'd do ok ... I er, quite possibly overthought these.
Along those lines... while I had fun picking out handwriting fonts for the warlords, I made a few mistakes early on... Mitsuhide's for example, took up too much space and I couldn't fit as much content on his cards (and so of course, he was the most requested warlord).
Curious about the handwriting I picked? I was pretty random about it... mostly it was a combination of what felt right to me, plus whether or not it would fit on the postcard. Shingen is more romantic, so his handwriting is flowy, whereas Nobunaga's takes up a lot of space - but I had to balance an authoritative font with being able to include a decent amount of text. I figured that Mitsuhide would think faster than he writes, so his is a little more careless looking, and Sasuke would print, because he's used to writing lab reports. And of course, once I picked a handwriting font for one postcard, I kept it through the rest of them.
Here is everyone in a row, for comparison:
As for the postcards themselves... here they are gathered once more...
Masamune visits Malbork, Poland in 1460
Mitsuhide visits Maui, Hawaii
Keiji visits Times Square, New York, New York
Sasuke visits Koma-ga-take volcano in 1582
Shingen visits Ancient Greece
Yukimura visits Rome, Italy in 2020
Mitsunari visits Dublin, Ireland
Kennyo visits Paris, France, 1900
Mitsuhide visits Pataliputra, India, 300 to 600 CE
Mitsuhide visits New Orleans
Nobunaga visits Washington, DC
Nobunaga visits Vigan City, Philippines
Masamune visits the World's Fair, Chicago, 1893
Shingen visits Hoi An Ancient Town
Mitsuhide visits Prague, Czech Republic
Thank you again to everyone who requested a card. Maybe some day I'll bring this back!

Hi, I was wondering what's your opinion on levelling up your life by looking for a wealthy partner? I was watching a video a few days ago on etiquette, elegance ( the video had more points included) and the lady was talking about networking and visiting places like the South of France, certain spots in Greece, high end places where mostly the wealthy have access, meeting people on yachts... thing is ... most of the places mentioned were mostly for partying and are known for having escorts visiting them, or rich wannabes, so following these advices can do more worse than good. Same for meeting people in rich type of locations. Rich people have a very different mindset, and a lot of them scrunch their noses is they find out you're actually not wealthy, even though you afford to visit a certain place, as for yacht parties etc, there are a lot of incidents with women who are told to partake in sexual activities and are nothing more than some meat for those rich men .
Hi love. I think that the best way to "level up your life" is to create a meaningful life for your life â regardless of whether you desire to have a partner or not. Your skills, habits, life experiences, social/professional connections, and mostly importantly, the person you become through this self-development process can never be taken away from you. A partner can lose to leave at any time ultimately for any reason, whether it's a rational/ ethical one or not. If you desire partnership generally, I say you want to date people who are compatible with the person you're working towards becoming, but it is on you to be discerning and become the ideal match for the partner you're desiring. Otherwise, you're placing unrealistic expectations on someone else. If the gender roles were reversed, why would a man want to date someone who doesn't have a similar perspective on life and shared values like education, remaining cultured, worldly, and fostering a well-connected network? Success relationships thrive because they're built on shared values and compatibility.
Being able to afford a trip to Paris is different than understanding the culture of the city, work by French authors who sat at the cafĂŠ writing their philosophical texts based on the social/political dynamics surrounding them, or the history of the 12th-century fortress that houses some of the city's most influential art & sculptural creations in the world (and the history/significance behind them, too).
So, if you don't share cultural/educational/lifestyle compatibility with a love interest, the one common link you may have is sexual attraction, and a mutual value or skillset you're likely to share is sex (which offers some sort of power and access to both individuals).
These "marry a rich man to solve your problems, but don't sleep with them until they fund your lifestyle" peddlers reek of internalized misogyny and sound like the relationship version of a "get rich quick" scheme.
If you want to have casual sex with "wealthy" men for the thrill of the experience and temporary access to their world, I say go for it if you desire to explore this curiosity. But understand these experiences should be taken at face value. These encounters don't define you as a person in any way (except for likely being physically attractive and having an extroverted personality). All relationships/sexual and romantic dynamics operate under the mutual benefit partners provide each other. Compatibility of needs â lifestyle-wise, socially, sexual, values, and education/skill-wise, etc. trump everything.
Rant over, but hope this helps for some people who are heading down this strange sugar daddy-esque rabbit hole.

Today I will introduce you to the game in the VR Category which is VRChat!
VRChat is a Virtual World social game created by Graham Gaylor and Jesse Joudrey developed and published by VRChat Inc. It was first released on January 16, 2014 as an app for the Oculus Rift then released on Steam on February 1, 2017. Itâs a place to meet all kinds of people from around the globe in a virtual environment. VRChatâs content are created by its amazing community creating avatars, worlds, games and more. Itâs a game with thousands of games inside it. From scenic worlds to game worlds that will blow your mind. And the best part? Itâs free to play! You can play the game even without a VR, with just your PC on desktop mode. You can also play it without a PC using a standalone VR like the Quest 2 or Pico 4.
First up, in VRChat you can be who you want to be! Be your popular anime, game, or movie character. You can choose your own gender from being a girl, boy, and other genders. You can join different types of fandoms and groups from Warhammer, Undertale, FNAF, roleplayers, ravers, hobbyist or tech enthusiasts, no matter your taste youâll find a place for you. There was a documentary made about a couple that met in VRChat and started a family. Finding love virtually is now made easier in VR because you can see a physical representation of your loved ones.
Since VR is like a 2nd world, you can also find work here and earn money. You can stream yourself, selling your avatar creation, start a service type of business, teach others how to dance, translate other languages, DJ for clubs, create custom worlds or models. People use their talents in music, arts, acting, comedy, games and many more for peopleâs needs and demands. With this they have created an economy that made VRChat one of the best free to play VR games that has so much potential for the future.
It really shocks me how a lot of people havenât heard of it before when popular Vtubers such as Filian or Project Melody use VRChat on their videos that are viewed by millions of people. This shows how underrated the game is due to some misconceptions and misunderstanding people have about VRChat.
And here in Gamer Salad, we showcase games and give them their love and glory they so deserve.
If you're interested to try out VRChat yourself: feel free to create an account and login with the link below! I look forward to meeting you.
I am Mark and thank you for reading Gamer Salad!~

Destination Wedding Checklist: A Guide to Planning Your Dream Celebration Away
Destination weddings are an enchanting way to celebrate your love while surrounded by scenic views and new experiences. These weddings offer couples a chance to step outside the traditional wedding format and exchange vows in a unique and unforgettable location. However, organizing a wedding abroad or in a faraway location comes with its own set of challenges. Proper planning is essential to ensure that your destination wedding goes off without a hitch. This Destination Wedding Checklist will guide you step-by-step in making your dream destination wedding a reality.
1. Choose Your Dream Destination
The very first step in planning a destination wedding is selecting the ideal location. This decision will shape every other part of your wedding planning, so take your time and consider the following factors:
Climate and Season: Research the destinationâs weather, as some places are best visited during certain seasons. Make sure the season aligns with your vision for your wedding day.
Accessibility: Is the location easily accessible for you and your guests? Consider the distance from major airports and the cost of flights.
Cultural Considerations: Ensure that the location is suitable for the type of ceremony you envision. Some destinations have specific traditions or restrictions that could affect the ceremony.
Personal Preferences: Whether itâs a beach in the Caribbean, a vineyard in Tuscany, or a romantic city like Paris, choose a location that feels special to you and fits your wedding vibe.
2. Set a Realistic Budget
Destination weddings can be both affordable and expensive, depending on your preferences and location. It's essential to establish a clear budget to avoid surprises later on. Here are some expenses to factor into your budget:
Travel: Flights for you and your guests can quickly add up, so plan accordingly.
Accommodations: Work with hotels or resorts to negotiate group rates for your guests.
Venue Rental: Some venues may offer all-inclusive packages, while others may charge extra for services like chairs, tables, and dĂŠcor.
Vendors: Hiring local vendors for photography, floral arrangements, catering, and entertainment is common for destination weddings, and prices can vary depending on the location.
Wedding Planner: If you choose to hire a wedding planner, make sure to include their fee in your budget. A local planner can help you navigate the logistics of planning a wedding in another country or unfamiliar area.
3. Create Your Guest List and Send Save-the-Dates Early
A destination wedding usually involves a smaller guest list due to travel costs and the nature of the event. However, you still need to send out save-the-date cards or digital invitations well in advanceâtypically 9-12 months before the wedding. Your guests will need time to make travel arrangements and clear their schedules.
Be Clear About Travel Plans: Include helpful information about the destination, such as flight options, hotel suggestions, and transport to and from the venue. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for your guests.
Consider the Costs for Guests: Since destination weddings often require guests to travel, itâs courteous to be mindful of the costs theyâll incur. You may want to provide group discounts on hotels or offer shuttle services to make the experience more convenient.
4. Hire a Destination Wedding Planner
Planning a wedding in a faraway location can be challenging, especially if you're unfamiliar with the destination. Hiring a destination wedding planner can help ease the process by managing the local vendors, legal requirements, and logistical details. They will:
Handle communication with local vendors (caterers, photographers, florists, etc.).
Coordinate travel and accommodations for you and your guests.
Ensure that all necessary paperwork and legal documents are completed for the wedding.
Provide insider knowledge of the area and its wedding customs.
5. Select the Perfect Venue
Your wedding venue is a crucial component of the celebration and should reflect your style, preferences, and guest count. Factors to consider include:
Location: Choose a venue that fits your vision, whether it's a stunning beach, a chic city venue, or a remote countryside estate.
Amenities: Does the venue offer all the services you need? Many destination wedding venues provide full-service packages that include catering, dĂŠcor, and music.
Accessibility for Guests: Make sure the venue is easy to reach for guests, especially if it involves difficult terrain or lengthy travel.
Package Deals: Some venues offer all-inclusive packages, which can simplify the planning process by bundling together multiple services.
6. Research Local Vendors
While you may have preferred vendors at home, a destination wedding typically requires hiring local vendors for services like catering, photography, floral arrangements, and entertainment. Start researching these vendors well in advance:
Ask for Recommendations: Your wedding planner or local contacts can provide you with reputable vendors who are familiar with the area.
Read Reviews and Testimonials: Research online reviews from other couples who have gotten married in the same destination.
Meet Virtually: If you can't meet vendors in person, arrange video calls to discuss your needs and get a sense of their work style.
7. Secure Travel and Accommodations
Since a destination wedding involves travel for you and your guests, planning for their accommodations is crucial. Take care of these details early on to avoid any last-minute stress:
Group Discounts: Work with hotels or resorts to secure group rates for your guests, especially if many people will be traveling from afar.
Transportation: Arrange transportation for guests to and from the wedding venue and accommodations. Consider group shuttles or private transfers to simplify logistics.
Welcome Bags: To make guests feel extra special, prepare welcome bags with items like maps, local treats, sunscreen, and itinerary details.
8. Understand Legal and Documentation Requirements
Marriage laws vary from country to country, and you must understand whatâs required to get married legally in your destination. Common requirements include:
Marriage License: Some countries require you to apply for a marriage license several weeks in advance.
Proof of Identity: You may need to provide documents such as passports or birth certificates.
Witnesses: Some countries require witnesses to be present during the ceremony, so arrange for family members or friends to fill this role.
Residency Requirements: Some destinations require the couple to be in the country for a certain period before the wedding.
9. Create a Detailed Wedding Timeline
Once everything is planned, create a wedding day timeline to ensure that everything flows smoothly. Your timeline should include:
Hair and Makeup: Allocate enough time for beauty prep.
Photography and First Look: Plan when you will take photos, especially if you want a first-look moment before the ceremony.
Ceremony Timing: Depending on the setting, you may want to schedule your ceremony during the golden hour for the best lighting, especially if itâs an outdoor wedding.
Reception: Plan the order of events, including speeches, dances, and dinner. Ensure that your vendors and venue staff are aware of the schedule.
10. Stay Organized and Have Fun
Destination wedding planning can feel overwhelming at times, but staying organized will help you stay on top of the details. Use a binder or a wedding planning app to keep track of contracts, receipts, and to-do lists. Donât forget that this is your special dayâenjoy the process, and keep in mind that, no matter what happens, youâll be surrounded by stunning scenery and people you love.
