Hm. Would your characters ever cover up a bite/hickey they got from their lover? Also, how would they react to a lover trying to cover up a hickey or the hickey fading? -hickey anon (I was bored and wanted to see you in my notifs again so hi!)

None of them would try to cover a mark they received themselves, but Dax would be very flustered to realize a stranger could see it 😊 Verik and Shallow would just be like "...Yes? And?" lol

John, Paul and George looked like they had gone back in time, like they were kids again, playing together for the sheer enjoyment of it. More than anything, they reminded me of gunslingers, with their guitars strapped on, looks of steely-eyed resolve, determined to outdo one another. Yet there was no animosity, no tension at all – you could tell they were simply having fun. The order was Paul first, then George, then John, and they went back and forth. They ran down their ideas a few times and before you knew it, they were ready to go. Their amps were lined up together and we recorded their parts on one track. You could really see the joy in their faces as they played; it was like they were teenagers again. One take was all we needed. The musical telepathy between them was mind-boggling. Incredibly, after just a brief period of rehearsal, they nailed it in a single take. When it was over, there was no backslapping or hugging – The Beatles rarely expressed themselves physically like that – but there were lots of broad grins. I guess there's also the possibility that, as they were performing the solo, they realized they might never get to play together again; perhaps they were viewing that moment as a poignant farewell. It was the first time in a long time that the three of them were actually playing together in the studio.

Let him nag people to death as he sits on his moral high horse. Let him be snarky and bitter and jealous of the fact that he never got to live his life. Let him be immature and refuse to admit his own faults. Let him be frustrated with Klaus because he made the choice to stick around and not go into the light. Let him fail at being the voice of reason because honestly he’s been dead for seventeen years and doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Let him be a condescending, selfish hypocrite who is desperate for control. Let him be the type of person who hates losing. Let him call his siblings “narcs” and “narcissists” when he doesn’t agree with them. Let him be the type of scummy jerkwad that starts a crypto scam and helps his brother start a cult. Let him act like a miserable little pessimist who hates not getting his way. Let him be utterly pathetic and awkward and just kinda suck.

the cop that likes to set up a speed trap Directly behind my house was back last night. Why the fucker thinks he needs to throw on his sirens at ass o clock every time someone misses the slow down speed limit sign is beyond me. The neighbor dogs got into 10-30 min howling sessions as the lot of them kept eachother worked up Every Time super pig caught someone. That was not fun

This morning though. This morning. I was woken by my neighbor attempting to corrall one of her animals and or children back to her yard and out of mine. Which she has had to do many times before and she always does it in the same way.

By following it to where it's hiding under my back porch (directly below my bedroom window) and repeatedly saying "I love you" until it calms and comes out to her.

Terrible sleep experience 0/10 stars.

no villain speech has ever stuck with me like robert moses’ short manifesto from his conversation with kingston. people think they make choices. they think they’re gonna steer left, or steer right. but they didn’t build the roads. the big choices already got made for them, a long time ago.

because he’s RIGHT. not about his takeaway, obviously, which is just “and that’s how it should be.” but the statement itself is true. they DIDN’T build the roads. people are told over and over that because they “make choices” the outcomes of those choices are their responsibility, and that it’s freedom, even. they think they’re gonna choose to steer left, and then they crash. they choose which auto insurance they have. they choose what new car to buy. and that’s freedom. but they didn’t choose to be required to drive a dangerous vehicle an hour away to work their life away at a job they don’t care about just to keep themselves alive. they can only live their lives in a narrow framework, a structure sustained by a threat of imprisonment and violence. they didn’t build the system. they didn’t build the country, or even the concept of a country. they didn’t build the laws, they didn’t build the city, and they sure as hell didn’t build the roads.
