hi anon! 💗 are you THAT anon? 👀 of course i’m gonna tell you about them! (I mean at least what I know, this is gonna be a long answer, i’m not even sorry 😂💗)

so the first one that is coming out soon in February: Ultima Thule, it tells the story of young man, Bartek (Kuba’s in main role), who decides to embark on a lonely journey to the most isolated british island to fights off his internal demons. It is directed and written by Klaudiusz Chrostowski and the movie won the award at Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. Kuba even was the producer of this project and I’m so freaking proud of him even tho I haven’t seen this film yet. The whole thing was done by four people (including Kuba) and it’s actually insane and I love it.

another film of his, which sounds interesting is Biała Odwaga (dir. Maciej Koszałka), the title is not translated, I’d say it would be White Bravery???), it already seems to be controversial topic among critics because it pictures the story of a family - two Highlander brothers and their attitude towards Nazis during the war (some Highlanders were rumoured to conspire and cooperate with Nazis, and honestly it’s a really sensitive topic regarding polish history, Kuba said it’s a really interesting and well-written screenplay besides the historic background). Kuba plays there Wolfram von Kamitz (well, he has the looks for it, am I right?).

Simona Kossak (dir. Adrian Panek), another upcoming project (man’s booked and busy!) is about titled character, Simona. She is real life person from 70s, nature and animal lover, scientist and ecologist. Kuba plays her husband, Lech Wilczek, life-long partner and supporter.

The title I’m really excited about is Kolory Zła. Czerwień (Again, not translated but I’d say: Shades/Colours of The Evil. Red, and again dir. by Adrian Panek). It’s a book adaptation under the same title. It’s a crime story where, a Tri-City beach becomes a place of dramatic discovery when the sea washes up the body of a young girl. Kuba plays detective Leopold Bilski, main character. I love crime stories so it’s going to be exciting. It will be out on Netflix btw! ✨

He is working on the another project with Klaudiusz Chrostowski, hasn’t officially announced and named yet. Kuba himself said that it will be about depressive vampire who only can be cured through love 🥹💗🤫 (Here’s the pic shared by Mr Chrostowski, Kuba looks so cute with vampire teeth! 🧛‍♂️)

And finally, just recently there were released some stills from the project titled Podchody (Stealing Up, but still it’s translation for non-polish folks 😄) by Maciej Puczyński. Again, it hasn’t been announced yet or anything. It will be about a toxic family system where mother, three siblings and their partners confront with their lives and its unfulfillment.

It is solely the fact that I am still living with my parents, that I can care for myself and my pets, and I can’t thank them enough. 👍🏻💚

Since I am very much still trying to get my feet back under me, I am stuck with this current job situation.
