Doodle Request #32!

A little out of order (okay a lot out of order) but I really wanted to do this one because it was funny!

Small fluffball really packs a good pair of lungs to scream that loud. IT FINALLY SENT!!!

it’s so. good. that buffy has to feel self loathing about what she’s doing with spike specifically because the underpinnings of the show require that vampires be Bad Monster Creatures who Cannot Feel and are just Lifeless Demons otherwise everything comes into question. about everything. except that spike is the crack in the foundation of the show itself and in that, he makes the show better! he’s the only end that makes sense for her because he sets her free!!!

I knew I wanted the Prismatic Piper to have a place in the Forty Servants deck I was building. It had almost slipped into several spaces during the deck building process, but it's finally settled into the Road Opener, the last card that I picked out a Legendary Creature for. The Fortieth of my Forty Servants. Which makes sense for this card!

In the lore (aka the paragraph-or-so blurb for side characters in a post on the official website), the Prismatic Piper is a shapeshifter of pure energy who's theorized to exist simultaneously across all planes at all times. To more directly quote:

In moments of great need, magic users across the Multiverse have found themselves able to cast spells unlike any they've ever cast before. When the danger has passed, the knowledge disappears without a trace. When asked about these events, each mage reported the same thing: it was as if their head was filled with music, that of a hauntingly beautiful flute. Researchers have dubbed this phenomenon "The Prismatic Piper," based on the most popular theory. That theory states that a spirit of pure mana, purer than even elementals, could exist simultaneously across all planes at all times. Being pure mana, it would have no will of its own, but its power could be subconsciously harnessed by one who meets certain criteria. Efforts to pinpoint that criteria have yielded few results, and for now, the Piper remains a mystery.

The Road Opener is about clearing, banishing, and removing obstacles in our paths. If that's not a direct one-to-one, I don't know what is!

Seeing the protests outside ethe opening of the Dutch holocaust museum, protests with a primary demographic of direct descendants of those who perpetrated the holocaust against their own Jewish neighbours is horrendous. Like they have come together to scream and shout at a Jew, talking about Jewish trauma.

I cannot ever believe that over 100,000 people were deported and murdered (75% of the Jewish population of the Netherlands) and the rest of the population were unaware. They either turned a blind eye or were actively complicit in getting the job done - the number of people who tried to help Jews was vanishingly small. So yes, I feel very comfortable saying that the decents of those who allowed the Jewish community to be obliterated are now the same ones attacking Jews in the modern day.

Nothing is happening. He's nowhere. And yet there's so much traffic, people and vessels moving. Distant shouting and discussions, communicating about logistics, but there's no need for him there. So he just stares out in silence and feels the cold wind. The air is choked with the stench of diesel every day and yet sea birds fly through that filth still.
