Nayeli O'Hara, also known as Nayeli Torres is a Mexican raised 17 year old with spider powers. She was bitten when she was fifteen and has since been her universe's Reaper Spider.

Her spider was a black widow and when she was bitten, while doing a school internship at Oscorp, she killed four of the seven scientists present in the room. Her venom is transmitted by bites, organic webs, and glands present at the palms of her hands. If she is to touch someone (not really tested for how long or how), the amount of venom transmitted could be enough to kill. So she uses artificial webs.

She lost her father at a young age while he was shot in front of her in Mexico City and has since lived with her mother and her aunt in NYC. Unfortunately, when she was 12, he mother died in a fire while trying to save a small child from their building. At fifteen she lost her aunt when she was unable to act fast enough to save her from a bullet. She was recruted by the spider society and taken in by Miguel a few months after.

She has a desire, a need maybe, to destroy whenever she gets too overwhelming or too excited. Better not give her a lighter or she will light most of what she can on fire. She's also Autistic and has a hard time reading tones or understanding what people want from her. She doesn't take orders well and can consider herself as an anarchist. She's trashed Miguel's office in a fit of anger more times than she can count but is strangely stable if not too stable while on missions. She will go as far as killing or threatening with her poison if needed and she will enjoy every second of it.

All this to say, she probably has BPD (borderline personality disorder), but since she refuses to go see a psychiatrist since she became a spider person, the only source Miguel has of this is Lyla's program that has a few basics of psychology. (I have done my research but I can only write the disorder as well as someone that reads it out of a book, I'm sorry if I do something wrong, feel free to tell me)

Design Details: Her concept and design is very much inspired by the idea of "death". The red pattern at the end of her sleeves represent the Lycoris Radiata aka the "death flower." Plus she carries a scythe, which is most often carried by a grim reaper. Her primary colors are red, white, and black, which are all colors that represent death. As you can see from the photo, her tail can detach and turn into her scythe (and yes, she can feel whatever happens to her scythe.) Her face design is inspired specifically from the mandrill baboon.
