hey angel 💝 aaaaa okay so if you talk about my blog posting something random each 1-2 hours that‘s just my queue working and lately i’ve been trying to reblog lots of art to keep it interesting! but if you talk about my writing, i‘m a fast writer (and so horny for the pixels 😩) and also, those works i don‘t use my taglist on are works i type out in about 3-5 minutes so i tend to write quite a few of those and spread them in my queue as well so they post automatically or continue a thirst that piques my interest in my ask box and post it quickly !! 💕💕 but yeah!!!! i‘m not online a lot actually, only around this time right now, which is night for me! 🫶🏻

Character: Steve Rogers
Summary: you had a one night stand. Or did you?
As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging ❤️
Your phone wakes you. The room tilts as you open your eyes. A dull hammering thrums in your temples. The morning light makes your brain rough as sand paper.
Dregs of vodka stick to your dry tongue. The hangover weighs you down like an anchor. Just the thought of moving hurts.
You reach blindly for your jittering phone. Bubbly music tinkles from the speaker. Shit. It's Barrett. What did he forget this time?
You answer and put your clammy palm to your forehead. You squint at the ceiling then your eyes slowly round. Where the fuck are you?
"Hey, babe. You at Wendy's?" Your husband asks.
You gulp and peel your tongue off the roof of your mouth. This isn't Wendy's house.
"Yep," you croak. Your eyes ping side to side.
"Look, I'm sorry about last night. Things got heated and I know I was an ass--"
You cough as you sit up in the strange bed. "Yeah, you were."
"So why don't you come home and we can talk it out."
You peer around the room and your lips curve in a frown. Where the hell would you go besides home your loyal best friend's? You scratch you scalp and turn your legs over the edge of the bed, "let me get myself together."
"Babe. Please. I'm sorry."
"When I get home." You hang up.
It was a hell of fight. The minute he started yelling, you bailed. He knows better. You're not doing a ten hour day and coming home his nagging. So you left out your coffee mug. Big deal. You didn't say anything about the garbage bag he left out to be torn apart by raccoons.
Whatever. Fighting over dishes. Not of it matters right now.
Your clothes are on the floor. Someone's floor. Who it is is far from the point. You stand and stagger. You catch yourself on the nightstand. Your hand moves instinctively between your legs.
You're naked and tender. Did you have sex?
Think! You ran out with your purse. You went to Wendy's. She was up for a night out. A night to forget and body did you. First drink, second, third, then it gets blurry.
Fuck! You didn't. You wouldn't. You're pissed at your husband but you wouldn't cheat on him. You're not that type of person. Right?
You don't have time for that. You have to get out of here.
You dress as you search the room. It's tidy. Half the bed is mad and the other half messed from your drunken slumber.
You shake out your hands trying to shoo away the flurry of guilt and denial. Just get out. You'll think better with some coffee in your system.
You push down the door handle slowly. You listen to the silence of the hall. You tiptoe out warily, checking left and right as you advance. It's a nice place. A condo. Much nicer than your cramped one bedroom.
Not important!
You come out into the spacious front room. It's as empry as the rest of the place. The kitchen too. The bathroom. No one.
Your purse is by the door. Your shoes too. You grab both and let yourself out. You'd rather not face your mistake.
No, you didn't do anything. You wouldn't.
You hurry down the hallway to the elevators. You don't look back, just keep going. You don't think, just go.
It isn't until you're outside the familiar cafe marquee that your let your mind settle. You enter and join the queue. Your order a black coffee and drink it at a stool by the window.
You lean your elbows on the high table that stands inside the pane. You take a slow, savouring swig of coffee and let it trickle down your throat. You shield your face from the New York morning and put your hands over your ears.
You can't remember anything but Wendy. Your anger had you ordering round after round, trying to drown out the bile. The thought makes your stomach lurch and you gulp thickly.
You shake your head and groan. Your phone chirps. It's probably Barrett. Several messages from him and missed calls. All through the night. It's bad enough you betrayed him, you had him up worrying.
No, you didn't!
It can't have happened if you don't remember it. A generous stranger took you home so you didn't wake up on the curb. That's it.
That's the story. Nothing happened. And you'll let Barret believe you were with Wendy. It won't make a difference.
Your mind is set. Nothing happened.
Nothing. Happened.
Because you don't remember. Because you were too drunk to do that. Because you're married and it can't happen.
You're going to finish your coffee and go home. Everything will be just like it was before... after you tell Barrett where to put that coffee mug if it's such a big deal.

I wanted to take a quick break from queueing the rest of the @kinley-cafe orders to make a post about my beloved bucktommy and Tommy/Lou and this beautiful fandom.
I love love love that Buck was treated with so much care by someone who adored him. Buck has been nothing but sweet and kind and he deserved someone that accepted everything he was. Tommy was someone who did things he wasn't proud of before coming out later in life and becoming the best version of himself. He eventually became a person who embraced tenderness and showed so much patience when it came to Buck sorting himself out.
Lou's kindness and his own love for the ship brought me so much comfort and made the ship so much more enjoyable.
Don't even get me started on this community. This is one of the most wonderful fandoms I've ever been in. Everything I am and everything I do is welcomed and embraced with open arms. I also came out (as trans and gay) a little later in life (not that late. I'm not old lmao but definitely later) and I feel like I'm the best version of myself now because of the friends I've made and the support I have in the bucktommy community.
I donated what I could to The Trevor Project because I know how vital a support system is, and I made my own little found family in the bucktommy community. I've met people I love. People I trust, and people I can't imagine my life without. Everyone deserves that.
I would love for Buck and Tommy to get back together, and for Tommy to return, but nothing will ever change the impact this fandom had on me because of their existence in the first place.

day 7 of @hprecfest — the best of your OTP
wit's end with this prompt, went through all my oldest bookmarks to pinpoint what about harry potter & draco malfoy sank its fangs into me eleven years ago and— look—
i can't remember the first h/d fic i read, but it would have been from @dictacontrion's daily drarry quotes initiative— a splendid system queueing delicious h/d snippets that ran from 2013 to early 2022. dicta wrote many of my early h/d favourites, the stuff that really got me into this ship, but the DDQ initiative was my first exposure to what prolific reading & fandom engagement looked like. DDQ led me to dicta's curated recs here on tumblr and here on LJ— gorgeous selections that were a crash course in learning my tastes.
hungry for more lists (still didn't quite trust myself with ao3/ffnet's search functions), i found @capiturecs' meticulous & immensely navigable LJ rec archive + rec tag & @gracerene-recs' drarry tag. i still go back to these, especially for older fics i don't see recced all that much anymore.
@drarryspecificrecs' reccing & fic finding catalogues running since 2017 are something else; their work on their main blog, on @drarryspecificrecsdaily & as part of @lostdrarryfics (if i'm not mistaken) is an enduring force in this fandom. their consistent contributions put so many underrated fics on my dash i wouldn't encounter otherwise, and it's always a joy to get the tag notif when i post something on ao3. (also here's a drarry reccers masterlist curated by LDF, i haven't checked out everyone on it, but go forth & enjoy!)
@bridenore has been reading fic on a scale i can only aspire to, their continuously updating rec tag is such a diverse list of reads across tropes & fests. @mxlfoydraco's one-stop-shop masterlist is also glorious.
@thedrarrylibrarian's friends of the library initiative is such a fun take on showing love to fanwork & building community— every rec, interview & adjacent commentary felt like having a warm mug of hot chocolate with a friend. here's the masterlist!
i'm also loving the collaborative brilliance of @drarry-reccage ('get recced!' is phenomenal energy)— seven pals putting time into fresh recs. individual tags: @cailynwrites' tag here; @dontthrowsticksatme's tag here; @garagepaperback's tag here; @kk1smet's tag here; @mallstars' tag here; @pl0tty's tag here; @sweatersinthesummer's tag here.
i also love @sweet-s0rr0w's recs (masterlist & tag); i love how inventive she is with themes (the collaborative sex scene rec initiative is fucking inspired). sweet is also doing recfest, check out the tag!
@ghaniblue's monthly reading lists are always fun & fresh + acari's rec tag includes their recfest entries, featuring some drarry, some other ships (including rarepairs), so go have a look!
in general, i've always loved creative recs, so @onbeinganangel's embroidery recs were some of the most fantastic stuff to ever cross my dash (i was lucky enough to get one for my birthday a few years ago & it changed my life). wistfulrats themed recs + commentary were also brilliant. this author list by @bogglebeans was also wonderfully unique & had great takes.
and! of course! @sitp-recs whose blog & person are both gems, whose participation in this fandom is an absolute beacon of light. liv reads & recs with such infectious enthusiasm & i only realised how much of a love song reccing could be for works & creators i enjoy and admire through following her. here's her masterlist of masterlists & every link is delightful. liv also runs incredibly, incredibly kind initiatives, the hidden gems series stands out, as does running @yours-drarry blog which is a platform to send appreciation to fandom participants, so if you've got some love to show someone this holiday season, hop on over!
this is by no means a comprehensive overview of all the reccing that goes on in this fandom, i'm probably missing much more than i've counted (speaking of, if you rec & i've missed you, let me know and i'll follow your tag). but among the many things i adore about h/d fandom, the robust reccing culture occupies one of the top spots, not only because it shows appreciation for creators but because it's such a distilled display of excitement for participating in fandom— all of us poking each other and being poked to go look at that cool, brilliant, fantastic thing, jittery to wax poetic about it. reccers held my hand in fandom when i didn't know what i was doing, relentlessly cheered (other) creators on, cultivated a participative space for readers & lurkers and set the bar in so many ways.
to everyone who keeps the h/d fandom alive— reccers, but also writers, artists, podficcers, fest moderators, editors, cheerleaders, readers, lurkers, everyone, everyone, past & present: you are the best of this ship.
for all the love, time & effort you've poured into this space, thank you.
#drarry#drarry recs#geets does hprecfest#geets recs#please tell me if my tags are broken tumblr is a mess#also once again#no i'm not three days late what are you talking about

Someone wolf whistles as the garage door opens, and you walk faster to see what is worthy of such attention. When you step into the garage if your auto restoration shop, your jaw drops.
“Is that a ’59 Impala?” you ask breathlessly.
“Sure is,” Joel, your righthand man and drivetrain expert, answers. “She’s here for a tune-up. I know you’re busy, boss, so I can handle this one.”
“Yeah, right!” you exclaim. “All of my childhood dreams are under that hood.”
“You dreamt about reconstructed motors as a kid?”
“Do you talk to your wife like this, Joel? Because she’s never going to let you buy a C-10 with that attitude.”
He chuckles before he waves toward the office. “Impala owner is in there. Wants to talk to you.”
“Thanks, Joel. Don’t start without me!” you call over your shoulder.
As you enter the lobby, you put on your best customer service smile and straighten your shirt.
“Good afternoon,” you greet. “You must be the owner of that beautiful Impala.”
“Yes, ma’am. My friend Rick Castle told me that you were the person to see. I had the car restored by a guy in Texas, a ground-up rebuild, but it’s not riding as smoothly as it was before. The passenger side – sorry, I’m not very good at explaining these things – it almost feels like it’s bouncing while I drive,” he explains.
“Okay, that’s really helpful. It sounds like it’s probably an alignment issue. We can look at it today and give you a call when we find the issue,” you suggest.
“That would be great. Thank you.”
You review the paperwork he completed with Joel quickly before telling him bye. After putting his contact information into your computer system, you rush back to the garage.
“Let’s find out what’s causing the involuntary hydraulics,” you tell Joel.
“Hondo, get 20 squad in here!” Hicks calls.
As they gather in the situation room, Lieutenant Lynch queues a video pulled from a security camera. Street recognizes the location as the building they raided a few days earlier but remains quiet as she begins speaking.
“This is, of course, the building you raided. If you’ll recall, we hoped to locate an unidentified subject tied to several car robberies, assaults, and more recently, carjacking with deadly force. He killed a driver during a carjacking gone wrong and has continued to get more violent with each crime. We still haven’t identified the perp, courtesy of his never-ending vehicle supply and seeming knowledge of traffic cams. He didn’t seem to think about the security camera across the street from the parking garage before the raid, however.”
She presses a button on the tablet in her hand, and the video begins to play. Several cars come and go, but there’s nothing unusual. Hicks raises his hand to point to the time stamp, and the guys watch, waiting for some smoking gun or clear picture of the guy running from the cops. All that happens, though, is a man leaving in a convertible. Lynch pauses the video again and looks up expectantly.
“Was that a Triumph?” Luca asks excitedly. “Those are still rare in the states, even decades after they stopped manufacturing them.”
“It’s not stock,” Street adds with a shake of his head. “That’s not standard suspension, and the paint is too new to be original. Whoever brought that over had a lot of work done to it.”
“Which is great, makes it easier to find,” Hicks agrees. “Except there’s no plates, no registration, and no one has reported it missing. There’s not even a T3 in that color registered to anyone through the California DMV. We have something to look for, but no more information on who we’re looking for.”
“I know someone who can help,” Hondo says. “Classic cars, new paint, rebuilds…”
“You have a car guy?” Deacon asks. “Why?”
“Of course, I have a car guy,” Hondo scoffs. “My dad may have introduced me.”
“That makes more sense,” Luca says, nodding with Deacon.
“Hold on, guys,” Lynch calls. “The tech team thinks they may have found another lead. Consensus is this video is the same driver.”
She plays a new video, this one taken from a gas station camera. Another newer sports car pulls in, but no one exits the car. It sits for nearly three minutes, then pulls out.
“I’m not as versed as these guys, but that looks like a Lamborghini,” Tan comments. “Can’t be too hard to trace those in Los Angeles.”
“It is when they don’t have the original drivetrain. The back tires spun out way too far in that turn. It’s been modified, too,” Luca points out.
“He’s either got a thing for modified sports cars or he’s someone who’s flipping them to be completely different cars after he steals them,” Street hypothesizes.
“Your car guy gonna be able to help with that?” Hicks asks Hondo.
“Oh, yeah,” he answers. “This case’ll be closed in a week.”
“Then get out of here. You’ve got a rare car to track down.”
“One more thing,” Lynch says. “Really, I promise this is the last thing. None of those cars have been seen again. Seems like he drives them once and then ditches them.”
“He has to have his own garage, then,” Street says. “One that I wish I had.”
“Then it’s a bigger target,” Hondo declares. “Let’s roll.”
The chime connected to the front door of your shop rings loudly and you tell Joel to go check on the customer. You are under a 1977 Chevrolet Nova and elbow-deep in the engine bay. Even if you’d wanted to be the first face they saw, given that it is your business, you wouldn’t be able to get out from under the car before they assumed no one was here.
“Ah ha,” you murmur.
You pull the broken mounting bracket down past the ballast. It falls to the floor with a loud ting before you roll out from under the car. As you sit up and wipe your grease-covered hands on your coveralls, you see Hondo looking at you with his brows raised.
“Hello,” you greet.
“You got a little something right… everywhere,” he jokes.
“Funny,” you reply as you stand. “If your eyesight is that good, it’s no wonder you made SWAT.”
Someone laughs behind him, and you lean to the side. His entire squad waits in the lobby, and you wave before returning your attention to Hondo.
“I take it you’re not here about your dad’s car then,” you muse.
“Not today. We need some help with a case, if you have the time,” he explains.
“Sure. I’ll have Joel take you to my office. Let me clean up and I’ll meet you – all of you, I guess – in there in a minute.”
“Thanks. I owe you one.”
“You owe me an entire car at this point, Hondo,” you call as you walk out of the garage.
Once you’re out of your stained overalls and have washed all of the grease and car-related grime off of your skin, you return to your office. Hondo and three other men wait beside your desk, and you invite them to sit. Hondo introduces you to Tan, Luca, and Street, and you shake each of their hands before you sit across from them. Hondo rolls his eyes when you smile at Street, but you’re not sure why.
“So, what exactly does Metro SWAT need from an auto shop?” you ask.
“Long story short, there’s a guy stealing sports cars; classics, fresh off the floor, and everything in between. Then he’s customizing them, driving them once, and ditching them for a new illegally obtained ride,” Hondo answers.
You nod as you think, then lean on your elbows on your desk. “Why customize them?”
“To make them untraceable, we think,” Luca answers. “You can’t report a car missing if it doesn’t exist anymore.”
“That tracks,” you agree. “But then the question becomes, how do you ditch them? You can’t leave something like that at a chop shop, the parts would bring more issues.”
“Private garage,” Street says. “Or maybe he’s selling them out of the county. Lots of possibilities.”
“It takes an incredibly rich, incredibly dumb person to treat cars like that,” you comment.
“We deal with criminals,” Hondo interrupts. “Rich and dumb is kind of our thing.”
“No, Hondo, cars aren’t like people. They fight back, they don’t just disappear without a trace.”
“She’s right,” Street adds. “These cars are more than property to be stolen.”
“What are you saying?” Hondo asks.
“Ever read Christine?” you joke.
“Or heard of Decepticons?” Street adds.
You smile at him again, and he nods before he winks quickly.
“So, can you help us or not?” Hondo inquires.
“Yeah, of course. What do you need me to do?”
“We’ve got some security cam footage of the cars he’s altered. We need to know where he’s getting the work done, or info on where a private garage big enough for a collection like this would be.”
“I’d be happy to look. I can’t promise anything, though. My clientele is more of the rebuild this classic or fix this issue not the I want to make a rare sports car even more unique off the books.”
“That’s why we’re here.” Hondo looks at his phone quickly and huffs. “Uh, Street, you stay and go over the videos with her. Deac said he and Chris need backup.”
“You got it,” Street answers.
Hondo thanks you quickly before he, Luca, and Tan leave. You’re left alone in your office with Street and aren’t sure how to start a conversation after joking together while Hondo filled you in on the case.
“Uh, here’s the videos. There’s only a few on this, but it should be enough to get an idea of what he’s doing,” Street says as he passes you a memory stick.
You take it from him and insert it into your computer. As the videos begin playing, you rewind it, pause it, and take a few notes. The cars in it don’t have anything in common, other than the fact that they’re stolen and modified.
“Well, I can say for sure that my guys didn’t do this work. Nobody I work with did, either. I’ll ask around and see what I can find,” you tell Street.
“I appreciate that,” he replies. “You know, when Hondo said he had a car guy, I was expecting…”
“A guy?” you guess.
“I mean, yeah. Middle-aged, beer belly, his name on the sign. The usual.”
“Sounds like my shapewear is doing its job if you don’t see a beer belly,” you joke.
“Please, you know how pretty you are,” Street replies.
“Seems like you think so.”
You lean forward and smile as you return the video drive to Street. He returns your smile and opens his mouth, likely to make another joke, before Joel knocks on the door.
“We’ve got another customer, boss. With a ’73 Corolla,” he informs.
“Excellent timing,” you mumble.
Street stands as you do and says, “Call Hondo, or me, whoever, if you find anything. Thanks for helping.”
“I will. Thanks, Street.”
He leaves through the lobby, and you take a deep breath. Joel smiles as he watches you, but you tell him to get back to work before he can comment.
“On what?” he yells behind you.
“Hondo, we’re not even doing anything,” Street groans in HQ the following morning. “Just let me go make sure she doesn’t need help or anything!”
“She knows more about cars than you do,” Hondo answers.
“That’s not what I mean. C’mon, man, she has an auto shop. Are you really going to make me sit here when I could be solving a case in my dream garage?”
“Hondo!” Deacon calls. “We’ve got another video. New car this time, but it doesn’t look modified.”
Street looks toward Hondo expectantly, and nearly cheers when Hondo sighs and tells him to go. He accepts the video and rushes to his motorcycle. Work will be more fun with you, he thinks.
“You’re back,” you say when Street walks into the garage.
“And you’re working on a 1960s Mustang,” he says dreamily.
“1964,” you tell him. “Want to take a look?”
“I’m supposed to be working. We have a new video with a different car.”
“Surely it can wait a few seconds, so you can look at the new 289 sitting pretty under the hood.”
“Yeah, we can wait,” Street agrees as he follows you to the hood of the car.
After Street takes a few minutes to admire the work you’ve done on the Mustang, you lead him to your office and bring up the new video.
“I haven’t seen it, but the people in the lab didn’t think it had been modified,” Street explains.
“Okay. Let’s see,” you say, turning the screen toward him.
Your shoulder presses against his arm as you watch, but you’re both too interested in the sports car on the screen to notice that you’re in shared space.
“I don’t see anything,” Street says.
You drag the video slowly and pause it when the wheels turn.
“That car shouldn’t be all-wheel drive. It’s a minor conversion compared to the other work you’ve shown me.”
“Who makes a Datsun 240z all-wheel drive?” Street murmurs.
“Who steals a Datsun 240z?” you counter. “They stopped making them for a reason. Short of a complete overhaul, they weren’t worth their weight in metal.”
“As right as you are, that doesn’t bring us any closer to finding this guy.”
“No,” you agree. “And none of my friends have heard anything. We’re getting the word out, though, so as soon as it reaches the right person, I’ll have more information for you. It’d be great if he decided to switch garages and was my next customer.”
“It would be easier.” Street leans back in the seat and looks at the pictures on your wall. “Best and worst customer to date, go,” he asks.
“Ooh, okay,” you say excitedly. “Best? A writer who lives up in the hills has brought me over 20 different rare classics to restore from the ground up. The worst was last week. Kid came in with a brand new, stock Lambo Huracan and wanted the double-clutch tranny switched out for a 4-speed automatic.”
“In a Huracan?” Street repeats incredulously. “I… I feel like I just aged twenty years.”
“Tell me about it. I asked him if he could drive it the way it was and never got an answer.”
“Did you do it?”
“Are you kidding? No! I’m in this business for the cars, and that’s just sacrilegious.”
Hondo knocks on your open door, and he’s leaning against it with his brows raised when you look up.
“There’s two of them!” he exclaims dramatically as he looks back at the rest of the guys. “I thought you and Street were bad enough separately, but this isn’t fair.”
“Can I help you Hondo?” you ask, ignoring his comment. Although, you don’t hate him viewing this as you and Street, together, as one.
“I just came to see if anything came of that video,” Hondo says.
“Nothing inherently helpful. Your smoking gun is still lost.”
“Keep looking,” Hondo requests, tapping his knuckles against the doorframe before he leads 20 squad away.
Street watches him leave, shakes his head, and turns back to you to ask, “How’d you get into cars?”
“My, uh, my home life wasn’t great growing up. Cars were my escape. From the time I was old enough to realize that walking out into the driveway to mess with the cars got me away from the fighting, I was out there constantly. Then it became a love for cars and everything they mean to people. This isn’t just my job, it’s my passion.”
“I lived in foster homes for too long,” Street says. “When I met my brother, Noah, he got me into motorcycles, which led to cars. We dreamed about getting a Ducati someday.”
“See? Cars mean something, they’re more than electronics and gas to get you from A to B. They’re life itself for some of us.”
“And you treat them like that. When I get that Ducati, I’ll bring it to you.”
“For what? Those are perfect as is.”
“Maybe it’ll just be an excuse to see you.”
You smile and shake your head, but you know that you’d welcome him in, anytime, with or without a Ducati.
“… And then after the toe, caster, and camber are matched up on both sides, we can move on to complete the diagnostics,” you finish.
“Okay,” the young girl says. “I need to call my dad really fast. Can I come back in and let you know after that?”
“Of course. Take your time.”
As she walks out, you notice Street standing in the doorway to the garage.
“That happen often?” he asks, gesturing toward the girl standing outside.
“Occasionally. Mostly with younger customers,” you answer. “Must be nice to have a parental relationship like that.”
“Tell me about it.”
“So, what can I do for you, Officer Street?”
“Are you ever going to call me Jim?” he asks.
“I like cars, so Street is more fun,” you reply with a shrug.
“I actually came to give you a break. Hondo said you’ve been sending him updates day and night. You have to step back from it all before you burn out,” Street explains.
“I can’t. I have cars to finish, and some of my contacts have leads that seem promising, but they have to go through a chain of different garages, and…”
Street steps to you and lays his hands on your shoulders. He waits until you look into his eyes and relax to say, “You need a break. Trust me.”
“I need to finish with her,” you whisper. “Five minutes?”
“Five minutes,” he agrees. “And then I’m dragging you out of here if you won’t go willingly.”
Five minutes later, you follow Street into the small customer parking area outside the lobby. He walks to a motorcycle, and you eye it in admiration.
“This is your bike? It’s gorgeous, Street,” you say, running your fingers over the smooth metal body.
“It’s fast too,” he replies.
You accept a helmet and put it on as he climbs onto the bike. The Cardo logo on the side of the helmet catches your attention, but as you sit behind him and wrap your arms around him, you’re more than happy to ride in silence and decompress.
When you get back to the garage, you climb off the bike and hug Street before he can swing his leg over.
“Thank you,” you say softly. “I did need that.”
“I’m not just a pretty face, you know,” he jokes as he returns your hug.
“Neither am I. And you shift into fourth too soon. That’s why it revs harder.”
“I knew coming to see you would embarrass me eventually,” Street laments. “But at least you’re pretty and really close to me.”
“I can move,” you say against his shoulder.
“No, thanks. Not until I have to go back to work.”
His phone rings in his pocket and you laugh as he grumbles, “Hondo always has to ruin the moment.”
The phone on your desk rings again as you lower the new L1 engine into a C-10. You roll your eyes at the sound but refuse to answer it.
“Somebody else answer the phone!” you call. “I can’t answer another stupid question today!”
Joel salutes you as he walks through your open door. He returns a moment later with the cordless phone in his hand and smiles.
“It’s Street. Would you like me to pass along your message?”
You extend your cleaner hand and tuck the phone between your ear and shoulder to say, “Hey, Street.”
“Can you remove the hemi from my Charger?” he asks. “It’s too loud when I drive.”
“I will hang up on you,” you threaten.
The line beeps and you pull the phone from your ear with pinched brows.
“Not if I hang up on you first,” Street says from the doorway. “Which is rude, by the way.”
“Have more videos for me to watch?” you ask loudly as you lean into the engine bay of the truck.
“No, just wanted to drop by. Nice body… the truck, I mean.”
“Sure, you did.”
You grunt as you stand and pass a screwdriver to Street.
“I don’t work here.”
“Yet you’re here every day,” Joel says from inside the cab of the truck.
“Not my fault your boss freelances for my boss,” Street replies.
“I told Hondo this morning that I hadn’t heard anything,” you interrupt as you wipe your hands on a rag.
“I know. I just wanted to drop by. I got off early, so, here I am.”
“Hmm. I was hoping you’d say you were undercover or something.”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t want to believe this is how you dress when you’re not in uniform,” you joke.
“You’re covered in-“
“I’m at work,” you defend. “Hazards of the job. And don’t bring up the fact that my laundry room smells like motor oil because you can’t prove that.”
Your phone buzzes on the workbench behind you, and you apologize as you walk past Street to get it. He watches your eyes widen as you press the screen a few times.
“Call Hondo,” you demand.
“But-“
“I know who your car thief is. He’s on his way here right now with the Triumph T3.”
“How? Why?” Street questions.
“The guy he hired to do the work thought they were really his cars. Apparently, my name came up and with the message about him going through the automotive grapevine, his former mechanic recommended me for a modification tune-up,” you explain quickly.
Hondo arrives less than ten minutes later with the rest of 20 Squad. He asks what is so urgent as he looks between you and Street, though there isn’t much room between you.
“He isn’t ditching the cars. He’s still driving the cars because the Triumph slid last night and now he’s bringing it here to be repaired,” you tell Hondo.
“Okay, it slid and he’s bringing in one stolen car. What does that mean for me? And no automotive speak,” Hondo replies.
“Could I interest you in the Cybertronian translation?”
“Tell me what my bad guy did.”
“If I can convince him to list every car he may want me to work on in the future, could you get a warrant? I’ll try to get an address and a name for him, though they may not be legitimate.”
“We can certainly try,” Deacon agrees. “But he doesn’t seem like the type that will answer questions.”
“I have a way of getting people to talk. Especially car people. Guys like him like to brag, so if I one him up, he won’t have a choice but to tell me what you need to know.”
“Just be careful,” Street says. “Don’t let him get so cocky he thinks he has to prove himself in any way except talking about cars.”
“I won’t. But you guys need to get out of sight. He’ll want to see the garage and get a feel for the security.”
“We can pretend to be security,” Street argues.
“Nah, you got a cop face, man,” Joel says from inside the truck.
“Joel, I’m going to marry your boss and ask her to fire you,” Street shoots back.
“I want to hear more about that later,” you interrupt. “But seriously, get out of sight.”
A few minutes later, a Triumph T3 stops outside of the lobby entrance. The man who enters looks like the driver in the security videos, but you have to get more information before anything else can happen.
“Hi,” you greet. “You must be the gentleman Josh told me about. He said you had a classic, but I was not expecting a ‘50s Triumph. That’s a gorgeous car, sir.”
“I appreciate it. She’s my baby, but the steering is a bit off since I hit a wet patch last night and the back end slid.”
“That sounds like a simple enough fix. If you can just fill out some information-“
“Josh said you’d do this off the books for me, like he has. Cash upfront.”
“Oh, yeah, sure,” you agree. “Go ahead and pull her into the garage.”
He nods and exits the front door. You sigh and move into the garage, planning how to get him to talk about the other cars he has stolen and where he keeps them.
“Nice facility,” he compliments as he enters your garage. “Yeah, well, I’ve got a couple incredibly rare classics that I work on often, and those customers deserve the best.”
“Rarer than a 1953 Triumph T3?” the man asks, defensive and growing insulted.
“Oh, yeah. I’ve had a Model T in here, several European cars, including a T2, plus modern sports cars.”
“I’ve got a garage full of classics that make those seem like Hot Wheels.”
“I don’t know,” you murmur as you lift the hood of the Triumph. “I’ve had my hands in a 1931 Bugatti Type 41. I don’t think it gets much better.”
“My collection is worth a dozen of those outdated bugs!” he exclaims. “The Triumph, a Lamborghini Aventador with custom drivetrains, and I’d bet this car that you haven’t seen a Datsun 240z in mint condition with all-wheel drive. If your little dump of a garage could handle even that! My 25,000 square foot garage has cars you’ve never even heard of.”
“LAPD SWAT!” Hondo calls as he and his team enter the garage. “You’re under arrest for grand theft auto, carjacking, assault and battery, murder, and about fifteen more charges that I don’t have the patience to list. Now, when an arrest warrant goes through without a name, you know that’s a bad person.”
“Do not push him up against this car!” you demand as Hondo grabs his shoulder. “Toolbox, wall, anything other than a pristine T3.”
“Thanks for the help,” Hondo calls over his shoulder as he leads the thief out of the garage.
“It’s a shame such a pretty car has to go into evidence before it returns to its owner,” you tell Street.
“Yeah. Listen-“
“You didn’t hear a word I just said, did you?” you ask.
“Do you want to go out with me?” he asks.
You smile as you answer, “I’d love to.”
“Trust me, you’re gonna love this place,” you promise as you take Street’s hand. “All of the food is served in trays that look like classic cars.”
Street laughs as you bounce excitedly and uses your joined hands to pull you close.
“If you could buy one classic car, what would it be?” he asks.
You answer without hesitation before asking him the same question.
“Car? Probably an Aston Martin or a ‘60s Impala. Something sleek, classic, dangerously fast,” he answers. “Motorcycle is still a Ducati.”
“You’d suit an Aston Martin or an Impala,” you agree. “Or you can just ride shotgun in mine.”
“I was born to drive,” Street says dramatically.
You laugh at him as you slide into a booth in the restaurant. Street follows, setting the tray of food before you as he sits beside you.
“Are all of our dates going to be car-themed?” Street asks.
“You’re the one who already planned our wedding, and I’ll go ahead and tell you now that I’m not firing Joel, so you tell me.”
“I don’t care what we do as long as you’re there,” Street decides.
You smile as you turn toward him, and when you raise your chin, Street kisses you quickly. You momentarily forget about the car-themed trays holding your food, too distracted by his affection to care about which model you got. But then he tells you he got the better one and you push him away from you to check. Street laughs as he pulls you close again, and you’ve never been happier to have so much in common with one person. Maybe there are two of you, but the balance and love Street brings is perfect.

I need black out drunk Alex to beg you to fuck him and it ends up being kind of cnc (not rape js cnc)
u guys are killing me with these requests, they’re SO good🫦🫦
prompt: you and alex fire up an old flame between the two of you
warnings! smut!! [both parties are not sober!!]
alex was drunk. you and your mutual friend group were out at a summer house party.
people were all over this huge house. they were smoking, drinking, and even doing other substances that you quickly would look away from because woah.
anyways, alex was really really drunk. you and him were close once but things were different now, honestly. you both had a small thing together but it quickly ended when his ex wanted him back.
he shouldn’t have drank so much… you shook those thoughts away. you assumed someone else would step in and take care of him.
you had a few drinks in you but nothing too major, considering you had only been at the party for a few hours. it was just enough to let you shed your usual shy personality and be able to easily talk to the people around you.
you didn’t even realize that your body had led you to the dance floor. they were playing some really good music and you couldn’t help but move your body to the beat.
you felt a warmth at your hips and look behind you to see rubius dancing with you. you smiled and began to press yourself up against him, your ass on his dick. you felt his warm breath tickle your neck as he told you how beautiful you looked tonight. you turned around and held him close to you as you continued dancing. the two of you had been together basically all night. you were flirting openly and neither of you really cared.
from the corner of your eye, you saw alex near the kitchen. he had an angry look on his face, almost like he wanted to punch something or someone. you made eye contact with him and he rolled his eyes as rubius began to kiss your neck.
alex held a bottle of tequila and tipped it back, taking a huge gulp straight from the bottle. you were starting to worry about him but rubius caught your attention.
“c’mon hermosa, let me take you home tonight” he asked in a flirty manner
“o-oh… i—”
a huge crash cut you off. both you and rubius quickly made your way to where alex had fallen over in the kitchen
“alexis, let me help you—”
“fuck you rubius…” alex slurred, wiping his face from the alcohol that had spilled
rubius was concerned and very confused about what he did but before he could make the situation worse. you stepped in, quickly sobering up
“alex, let’s go home, yeah?” you cooed gently, helping him up to his feet
you held him steady as you walked through the crowd and out of the house together. you drove to alex’s house in silence. the atmosphere felt tense and you weren’t sure what to say.
instead, you said nothing and helped alex out of your car and to his front door. you opened the door and let the two of you in.
“lets get you to bed” you whispered and did just that
after you tucked alex into his comforter, you let him know you’d be on his back porch smoking a bit since there wasn’t much alcohol left in your system.
you smoked your weed for a little over twenty minutes and heard a notification from your phone. smiled at your phone as you saw that rubius had messaged you about having fun with you tonight.
“talking with your queue of men? or is it just my son of a bitch best friend?”
you nearly pissed your pants as alex’s unexpected presence scared you. you quickly put your phone away to avoid any arguing.
“hey.. why are you out of bed? you need some rest, lexie” you said, putting out your joint
“dont call me that” he said through gritted teeth
“w-what? alex, are you okay?”
“no. i’m not okay. you know exactly what you were doing at the party. tell me y/n, how many of my friends have you fucked behind my back?”
“excuse me?” you said, not believing what he was saying to you
“you heard me. i saw you all over rubius. and i know you’re probably sleeping with all of my other friends, too. do you seriously think any of them can compare to me?”
you didnt have time to respond before alex pulled you flush against his shirtless body.
“c’mon y/n… you know you miss me. you miss the way i fill you up completely, don’t you? please… please let me fuck you, sweet girl”
“i don’t— no… alex, you’re drunk” you shook your head
“please y/n… look at what you do to me” he whined, reaching forward and placing your hand on his clothed hard on
“alex….”
“i’m begging you, you don’t know how much i need that sweet little pussy of yours… please, princesa”
“i—”
“please dont say no yet...”
“what do you mean?” you asked
he grabbed your hand and took you inside. he took you into his bedroom, or more like you helped him as he was still not able to walk normally. he gently sat you on his bed and you didn’t know what to do.
your head hurt from smoking way too much and your thoughts were foggy from it, too. you let him lay you down. he started to run his fingers lightly from your legs up to your face
“y/n… i’ve wanted this for so long. i’ve missed you so much. i’m so sorry it took so long for me to say something. and im especially sorry that i let my jealousy get the best of me tonight. i thought drinking would help distract me from seeing you and rubius… but it only made me want you more”
“are you sure you want this? we’re both not sober… what if this isn’t what’s right?” you asked worriedly
“baby, ill always want you. sober or drunk, i want you. do you understand?” he said genuinely
you thought about what he was saying and you realized you wanted him too, sober or high.
he smiled as he leaned in to kiss you. as your lips connected, you felt an eruption of warmth spread from your belly to every part of your body. his lips made your head spin and you loved it.
“you feel so good, lexie”
“and you taste so good, baby”
as your tongues fought for dominance, you felt yourself slowly change positions. you were now sat on his lap and kissing him deeply.
your hands found their way into his hair as his hands rested on your naked thighs.
when did you take your clothes off? you were in only your panties and bra now and alex in his boxers. alex pulled away, only a line of saliva connecting your mouth to his. he began to tug at your bra, wanting it off
“i want to see you” he whimpered softly into your neck as he finally unclasped your bra and threw it aside
he felt almost feral at the sight of your naked breasts sitting prettily in front of him. his breath was caught in his throat at the sight.
“you look so beautiful like this, so pretty and needy for me” he praised
he began to suck and nip at your neck, one of his hands rolled one of your nipples in between his fingers while his other hand was in between your legs. his fingers teased your wetness, only slightly dipping a finger halfway into you. he’d quickly take it out and trace circles around your entrance, making you clench, needing more.
“please… don’t stop” you whispered into his hair as a mix of the weed and the pleasure he was giving you took over your every last sense
“i wouldn’t dream of it” his mouth was now sucking at your tits eagerly as you let out more and more whiny moans
you reached in front of you and took his thick and leaking cock out of his boxers. your hand slowly wrapped around him as you teasingly rubbed at his tip. in response, he bit down harshly on your nipple and you couldn’t help the moan that escaped your throat.
“s-sorry hermosa, its just… you still remember how i like it” he gasped and chuckled soon after
you smiled and began to move your hand slowly as he rubbed your clit at the same pace. the two of you kissed one another as you touched each other intimately and slowly.
you took your panties off and lifted yourself up a bit, making sure to sit right on his cock. his face was scrunched up in pleasure as he let out incoherent whines.
“god… yes… oh fuck, just like that…” he said as his hands made their way to your hips, helping you steady yourself on his lap
you lifted yourself up and sat down eagerly with him buried inside of you.
“you’re all mine y/n, not ruibius’, and not anyone else’s. did you miss me? did you miss how good i fuck your brains out, hm? just look at how desperately you’re riding me” he touched your face gently and suddenly grabbed your chin and harshly faced you to him
“look at me when im talking to you, slut. did you enjoy having other men fuck you when we weren’t together? i bet none of them were this good, were they?”
“n-no..” you managed to choke out
“tell me im the best cock you’ve ever had, tell me baby” he said as he began to fuck into you at a faster and rougher pace
“y-you’re the best i’ve ever had”
“aw, you can do better than that. be a good girl yeah? tell me again or don’t even think about cumming”
“ive never been fucked so well… i dream of your cock, i need you alex please”
“that’s right sweetheart, so then,” he flipped your positions, having you faced down into the bed while he fucked you from behind, “who’s pussy is this? who does this pussy belong to, hm?”
“y-yours.. its yours”
“nuh-uh, you can do better than that” he shook his head, a smirk on his face
“this pussy is all yours alex, please let me cum, please”
“well, since you asked so nicely”
he fucked into you like his life depended on it. one of his hands was on your ass while his other was rubbing your sensitive clit. his hips snapped against your ass, making a loud noise as the two of you filled the room with panting symphonies of moans.
“im close, so c-close”
“shhh, its okay baby. i need you to take my load, okay? and i need you to cum with my cock inside of your cunt”
you nodded with tears of pleasure in your eyes. you felt yourself getting closer and closer. you shut your eyes as your body trembled and your pussy clenched tightly, your own juices seeping out of you. with a few more thrusts, alex came inside of you hotly.
the two of you cleaned up and fell asleep together, deciding to deal with the situation tomorrow when the two of you were sobered out.

Podcast Recommendations: What's the best podcast for a road trip?
Hello friends! For the last four years, I have been making commutes to and from my university for the breaks. The car ride either way is about 2.5 hours so I've tried my fair share of podcasts to keep me entertained. The biggest problem I've found? Volume. The highway is loud, cars are loud, and not every podcast is. So, for all my fellow serial roadtrippers out there, here are some of the best podcasts I've found for making that car ride feel a little shorter!
Wolf 359
A certified classic. Wolf 359 is a special podcast for me for many reasons but the audio levels really stand up against the road. The back-and-forth banter and elite humor of the characters really keeps me locked into what's happening while not distracting me from the road, a perfect balance! It's also a longer podcast, which I like for the road since it means I don't run out of content halfway through the drive.
Forgive Me!
Forgive Me! is a newer show for me but one I've really been enjoying. I think comedy podcasts are the best ones for me to drive with since I can develop a good balance between focusing on the podcast and the road. I've had to turn the volume up a few times for Forgive Me! but not drastically so. I will say if you're going to listen to this one make sure you queue up what you want to listen to since they have a lot of crossovers, I personally just like the main plot on road trips, but to each their own!
The Magnus Archives
I will say, The Magnus Archives can be 50/50. Audio quality? Superb. They make the quiet moments sound quiet but I can still hear it over the road? Magic. John's little pauses let me listen to my car to make sure nothing's wrong (I have an old car), it's a perfect system! But as every TMA fan will tell you, some statements are better than others. Listen at your own discretion and make sure you queue up what you want to listen to (if you want to skip a statement, take it out of the queue! You cannot skip it going 70MPH)
Midnight Burger
I don't think I would've become a Midnight Burger fan had it not been for my car rides to and from school. The dialogue is great against the road and the plot is heavy but not too heavy you'll miss details if you're trying to switch lanes. I can't recommend Midnight Burger enough, but it's definitely one you'll want to queue, there is a LOT of bonus content to sift through.
These podcasts are pretty mainstream, so no groundbreaking recommendations, but these are the ones that have stood the test of the highway. Please feel free to add your favorite 'road trip proof' podcast if I haven't listed it!

The Angst Alphabet
NOTE: any letter/alphabet prompts that have been made and put in the masterlist that do not specify which list theyre from, assume they are fluff alphabet prompts if they are posted prior to 6/19/24! Always worth to doublecheck, however this is a general thing!
Similar to the fluff and tropes list, you can turn to this list of prompts for ideas of what to request! This list will also be open indefinitely, hooray! If you're unsure if a character has already had any specific prompts done, you can always turn to the masterlist! You can find this list and other pre made prompt ideas at the bottom of the main masterlist! All will be in my pinned! You can find the rules for this alphabet under the cut, please keep them in mind when requesting! You are also free to use these prompts for your own writing!
Naturally, there is a chance that this list may contain subjects that can bring discomfort. I want to make it very clear that for the majority, if not all, of these prompts are in no way meant to be romanticized. That being said a lot of these prompts revolve around emotionally charged mistakes as well as people being naturally flawed; unless the scenario and character calls for it, assume that these are relationship hiccups.
CWs: mentions of death and grief, injuries, mentions of murder, talks of scars and while it can be seen in any way it can be seen in a S/H way however its a vague prompt, general mentions of loss, possibility of trauma depending on character and prompts that are requested together,
You can request up to 3 prompts and 2 characters in a single request! As long as I write for the character (I will let you know if I don't! We'd be here forever if I listed every character I write for..) and what fandoms I currently write for (can be found in the pinned as well as the status! If it says its ongoing, you're good to go!). As stated in the opening note, if youre unsure if a few prompts had been done for a character, check the Masterlist! Or alternatively you can ask me via inbox if it's been done yet! Speaking of, I only accept requests through the inbox since it's easier to keep track of.. as well as this I work on a queue system so expect your request to take a while; you're always free to ask when its expected to be posted! Request status will also be kept up to date in my bio! A lot of these prompts can be applied to romantic or platonic relationships however on the chance you ask for a character i only write platonic for and ask for a prompt that is more romantic leaning, I will do my best to make it platonic. If it cannot be done I will make that aware to you! Tags do not equal the fandoms I write for as thats subject to change! If a fandom is not listed or it's been a while I recommend looking at my pinned to see fandom statuses!
Admirer- What are they like when they have a crush on you, but they already know you dont notice them or reciprocate? Or alternatively, what if you were asked out by someone else before they got the nerve to do it themselves?
Break up- What can break your relationship? How are they like afterwards?
Clique- What if their group of friends and/or family disapprove of you, or outright hate you? How likely are they to crack under the pressure? Will they side with you or them, or will they choose to stand in the middle?
Distrust- How do they try to get your trust back? What can you do that breaks their trust?
Ex- What are they like when your ex turns up? Whether the ex in question is bad or not, how do they work through these feelings? Are they okay with you being friends with an ex?
Fight- How nasty can they get in an argument? Who walks away first, if there is any walking away?
Guttural- How do they show their emotions, do they talk about it? Do they silence themselves? Do they generally keep quiet or do they feel that they can't talk about it?
Heal- How do they make it up to you after a fight? Do they make a promise to do better or do they remain stagnant? Change is not linear, what will progress look like?
Jealousy- Very similar to the E prompt, as well as the Jealousy prompt from the fluff alphabet. How do they handle these feelings? What makes them jealous? Both in general, as well as when it comes to you?
Injury- Much like it's fluff counterpart... how do they handle you when your hurt... however, in this list... how are they in the moment?
Kill- Would they kill for you/out of revenge?
Lonely- How often do they feel alone? Do they seek you out or do they swallow their feelings?
Misery- How do they cope after your passing? How long does it take for them to pull themselves together ect ect
Nightmare- How do they soothe your nightmares? Do they have nightmares themsevles?
Opened- Will they throw something in your face in the heat of the moment, knowing it will hurt you? How do they proceed after the immediate damage?
Protective- How far are they willing to go to protect you? If they give everything they can, and you still get hurt... how do they react? Will they blame themselves, or you? Or will they go quiet?
Quake- Something in the past the effects how they move forward, in general and/or within the relationship
Rejected- How do they handle feeling rejected? Not just a rejected confession, but rejection as a whole? How do they cope when they feel rejected by you?
Strangers- What's it like when you find yourselves in the same space, after breaking up? Will they approach you or will they pretend they don't know you?
Two faced- How likely are they to lie to you, what would they lie about? What happens if they're caught?
Undying- In the case one of you are immortal or otherwise live long... how does that effect the dynamic?
Valentine- Different from its fluff alphabet counterpart, how will they feel if you stood them up on valentines day? On the flip side, what kind of emergency would make them stand you up?
Wounded- Do they have any scars, of any origin? How do they feel about them? How do they treat your scars, of any origin?
Xray- How obvious are they when theyre around something they hate/when you do something that upsets them
Yearn- Similar to it's fluff counterpart, how do they deal with separation or rather, how do they cope with wanting something they've lost and/or don't have?
Zestless- What happens if one or both of you lose your spark for the relationship? Will you try to ignite it, or will you simply part ways?

bad idea right? | jack hughes x reader
guts masterlist🦋
summary: olivia rodrigos new song, bad idea right?
word count: 1.5k
warnings: light? smut idk i've never done this before
ynuser
📍guts club
liked by jackhughes, irisapatow, madisonhu, and others
ynuser i cant even hear my thoughts
the tequila, and the pink whitney shots were coursing through your veins as you danced with your friends among a mass of other 20-somethings your age. you let loose. you had been broken up with your boyfriend, jack hughes, for months now and so who could blame you for hitting a club with your best group of friends?
before you knew it though, you were dragged into the clubs dingy bathroom so your friend could reapply some of her lip gloss.
ex bf (jack): 1 missed call
you had no idea why your ex would be calling you. sure your breakup was amicable, but that hadn’t meant that the two of you kept in touch. after jack had broken up with you, claiming that the long distance while he would be in michigan for the summer would be too much, you hadn’t reached out. and he hadn't either.
you stepped away from the bathroom's large mirror and your group of friends, claiming that you needed to use the bathroom real quick. you walked into the furthest stall, away from the loud music, and quickly dialled jack back. all the alcohol in your system not letting you question whether or not calling him was a good idea or not.
he picked up on the second ring. “y/n,” jack breathed into the receiver, almost sounding relieved that you had called him back.
“hello,” your giggles were muffled as you moved your hand to cup your lips. you really should not have called him back.
“are you out right now?” jack asked, already knowing the answer. he had seen your insta post earlier, with the club you were at tagged, and it was with that information that he knew you were close to his new apartment.
“yeah i am, where are you?” you responded, leaning your head back against the stall door. you knew you only had about one more minute before your friends questioned your lengthy bathroom visit, so you prayed jack would speed things up. plus, the less time he took asking you to go over, the less time you had to think of an excuse not to go.
“i’m at my new place.. you should come check it out. its near that club that you're at,”
“y/n! are you good in there?” your best friend's shouts carried throughout the crowded bathroom. you could hear the drunk bathroom talk, and you could imagine the long queue to the bathroom stalls.
you tilted your phone away from your mouth before loudly responding, “yeah! just one minute!”
seeing jack tonight… it was a bad idea right?
ex bf (jack): here's my address:
ex bf (jack) sent his location 📍
fuck it, its fine.
you brought the phone back to your lips, “i'll be there in twenty?”
“see you soon, i can't wait to give you the grand tour,” jack chuckles lightly and you can't help but smile. you swore his voice made you feel things…
you end the call just as your friends start banging on the stall door.
“it's been like five minutes, are you seriously good?” one of your friends shouts as she tries to wiggle your door open. you step away from the stall door, quickly flushing before fixing your hair. you had to act normal around them and not at all like you were possibly, maybe, about to hook up with your ex whom you hadn’t seen in months.
you unlocked the stall door just as your friend's hand beat against it. the door swings open, knocking your hand and sending your phone tumbling to the ground. “is she done in there?” some random girl yells as she shoves her way into the bathroom. she pushes your phone out beneath the stall with her foot as she slams the door shut in your face.
“asshole,” your friend whispers as she reaches down and picks your phone up for you. she stands up, staring down at your phone screen while the bathroom buzzes around you. “jack?” she finally questions, turning your phone towards you. your heart races, worried your friend had somehow stumbled across yours and jacks open text messages. how would you explain that? your friends would definitely tell you not to meet up with him and well… you wanted jack bad.

you snatched your phone back, and let out a loud sigh of relief as you realized your friend was just looking at jacks instagram that was at the top of your feed. “why haven't you unfollowed him yet?” she questioned, and you just shrugged. you peered at the photos again as your group of friends rejoined the others on the dance floor and… wow. you immediately lost all thoughts and coherence… this boy would be the death of you. you couldn't think of anyone hotter than him.
you waited for your opportunity to escape. you would text your friends that you left and that you were tired as soon as you made it on the bus. luckily for you, there were buses shuttling people around every 15 minutes, so you wouldn’t have to wait long if it came down to it.
“you single?” a guy shouted into your ear as he started dancing near you. you nodded, realizing that this could be another way out… if your friends saw you chatting up some guy, you would have an excuse to go “missing” for a while…
you slung one of your arms around the guy's shoulder as you continued jumping up and down to the music (your form of dancing), as you tried to catch one of your friends' eyes.
it only took you half a song for one of your friends to notice the new guy, and she immediately gave you a small hands up. he's cute! your friend mouthed and you nodded enthusiastically to portray your part. you couldn't wait to see jack.
“GOT ME LOOKING SO CRAZY RIGHT NOW! YOUR LOVES GOT ME LOOKING SO CRAZY RIGHT NOW!” the crowd roared as everyone started screaming the lyrics to beyonces, crazy in love. this was your opportunity. none of your friends were paying attention to you, and you quickly signalled to the guy you were with that you had to use the bathroom… he nodded, taking his hands off of you and letting you leave.
you barely spare your friends a glance as you grip your phone tight in your hand and squeeze through the crowd of people on the dance floor.
the cold outside air sobers you up quickly, and before you can even think about what you were about to do you make it to the bus station.
ex bf (jack): can't wait to see you ;)
❤️ you hearted one message
。・゚゚・ʚɞ・゚゚・。
jack's front door was hard against your fist. you banged on his door fast and hard, and he immediately opened it, ushering you inside and out of the rain.
“i’m kind of surprised you came,” jack says, very obviously checking you out. you were soaked and wet from the heavy rain.
“i'm kind of surprised you called,” you rebutted, causing jack to smile cockily at you. he shrugged his shoulders, “figured you’d want to see the new place,” he waved his hand, proudly displaying his new home for the year.
“It's nice,” you confirmed, shrugging off your wet sweater as you stepped further inside jacks living room.
“i thought you’d like to see my bedroom specifically,” jack laughed at your raised eyebrows. you had never seemed to get used to how straightforward he was. you recovered quickly though, huskily whispering, “show me?”
jack wasted no time dragging you into his bedroom. he grabbed the wet sweater that was still clutched to your chest and threw it across his bedroom before pushing you down onto his bed.
“i need you so bad jacky,” you moaned softly as he started peeling your top up and off you. he pressed his lips against your jaw, and slowly trailed kisses down to the base of your neck.
“i missed seeing you like this,” jack groaned against your neck as you moved your hands to undo the strings of his sweats. “should’ve never let you go so easily huh?” he whispered in your ear and it was your turn to let out a groan as he pushed your hands away from him and moved his knee to rest in between your thighs.
“please jack,” you gasp, staring jack in the eyes as he expertly nips and licks at one of your boobs while one of his hands massages the other.
“please what?” he responds teasingly as he briefly pulls back from your chest before giving your other boob some attention. his thumb brushes against your other nipple, and you hum in satisfaction before bringing your own hand up to tug on his now overgrown hair.
“i need you,” you whimper, and not even a minute later jack is pulling your skirt off and ripping off his sweats.

My MCM Comic Con Experience
Oh y'all, i have been wanting to talk about this to anyone who will listen haha Sorry this post is a bit late but it's been busy at work since i got home.
Where do i even begin? I met Liam! Still seems surreal even though i have photo evidence haha Let's just start with meeting him!
First up on the Saturday morning was meeting up with the amazing @formulares - who is amazinnnng btwwwww! had so much fun! 10/10 would recommend being friends with him lmao
Next it was time to get in and get in line for the Liam autograph! CR had their own section for autos which was great because the queues were SO LONG. Luckily, we were like 5th in line! When they all came out, the whole room erupted and the cast looked utterly amazed and completely taken a back with the turnout. Here starts the whole Liam experience haha I made Ares go first because i just couldn't and to watch is conversation with Liam was special. Liam is a special guy, i'll say that.
When i got to him, i was so nervous and he just made me feel like we were old friends. I gave him some letters i had to give and then the dice i'd brought him and he was so happy and rolled them! got a Nat 1 on his first roll but rerolled because halfling luck hehe and got a much better number! i then was able to tell him how much his characters and he have helped me through a lot in recent years and he was so grateful and wrote a lovely message on my print i was getting signed (which i'm not going to share yet as i will most likely be getting it as a tattoo) and then that was the end of the auto portion! when i went in for my photo with him, he remembered me! ahhhh and then we had the cutest picture and he gave me a bug cuddle as i was leaving. Liam is an amazing human, so kind, sweet and humble. I'm hoping i get to meet him again in the near future because truly, one of the best moments i've ever had.
Then i had photos with Travis (who was making sure to ask everyone their names and shake their hand before the photo) and was thanking everyone as well once they were done. it was so sweet!
I did have a Sam photo op but because i was anxious about not making it to my Taliesin one (sam's was the same time as Travis), i gave my photo ticket to Ares who had a great picture with Sam (who is really tall!). Next it was time to have my photo with Taliesin who is just a super sweet man and was wonderful! i love my photo with Taliesin so much! he was so excited to meet everyone!
Now, onto meeting Matt! Bear in mind i queued for three and a half hours to meet him. One thing i will say is MCM need to work on their queuing system because the line for matt was 4 people wide and just didn't seem to go down! By the time i got to the front i was emotional and overwhelmed and i think Matt could see that right off the bat. He shook my hand and asked my name and then we jumped into what was a very amazing and sweet conversation, where when i started to get emotional, Matt took hold of my hands (he's an utter sweetheart) and when i told him how much this show, this world had changed my life, he was just so receptive and so humble about it all and just amazing. Then he got up to give me a hug and it was so sweet of him - that man just adores every single person/fan. He spent time talking to every single person and stayed late to make sure everyone got to meet him.
i cannot begin to put into words how amazing they all were. From seeing Travis, Laura, Ashley, Marisha, Sam and Tal interact with everyone when standing in line, to how they were in photo ops - this cast are genuine and amazing. I count myself lucky to have been able to see them in person and cannot wait until i'm able to again in the future. I just adore them and it's an experience i will never, ever forget.

BOUNDARIES AND ASK FAQ BELOW THE CUT:
BOUNDARIES:
I block liberally. please don't ask me or my friends why I have you blocked, it's probably nothing personal.
I am not going to tell you how I figured out I was a system, and I am equally not qualified to tell you if YOU are a system.
I am not a therapist I am just some guy(s).
Do not jokingly insult me if we are not friends. Do not call me bitch, whore, slut, etc. I do not know you. Even if we're mutuals, please ask me first.
Dreamwastaken fans do not fucking interact. honestly in general cc!dreamteam fans do not interact.
Will Gold/ cc!Wilbur Soot fans do not interact.
You can ask me to tag for anything, though I may say no. I will sometimes ask you why you want something tagged, and that's so I can better accommodate that tag in the future. if you do not want to divulge that information, that's fine with me I get it, it's a personal thing.
Spam asks will be IP blocked. This means you will never be able to send me an anonymous ask again. Think before you send me an ask.
Please keep comments about my art in the tags, not the body of the post.
Spam liking/reblogging is perfectly fine, I don't mind at all. Just queue or reblog my art if you're going to spam-like it.
Ask me for permission before using my art in edits or stimboards.
Icon usage does not require asking me, but please add credit somewhere easily visible like your description or pinned post.
I don't use tone indicators unless I believe my message could genuinely be misinterpreted. Examples would be sarcasm or teasing.
If you do use tone indicators with me, please put the whole word. Examples: "/copypasta" "/joking" "/lighthearted".
FAQ:
Q: What art supplies do you use? How long have you been drawing? Do you do commissions?
A: I use 8x11 Strathmore Sketch books, and a very very large collection of Copic, Arrtx, and Ohuhu markers. For paintings, I use Strathmore Bristol paper in either size 11x14 or 18x24, and a mixture of various liquitex acrylic paints. A: I have been drawing since around 2010! A: In general, no. However, I actually will take commissions if you message me through Flight Rising and trade me treasure, gems, or rare apparel items! My Flight Rising followers get only the best <3
Q: Can we be friends?
A: Despite how extroverted I may seem, I'm actually incredibly nervous about speaking to new people. Send asks off anon, add tags to my art, and just hang out, and I'll probably consider us friends! If not, it's nothing personal, I'm just cagey.
Q: What is with the Ranboo's secret tumblr bit?? ..... Are you?????
A: No, it's just a running joke from 2021 lmao. Ranboolive has his own actual tumblr now but people just love pretending like I'm still his secret account
hey guys I made a new pinned are you proud of me anyways like the post if you read all of this

Do you have any tips for starting a kink blog?
Yeah! I have a few I can share! One size does not fit all but I've certainly learned some things that inform my approach.
Remember above all that it's supposed to be enjoyable. If you start a kink blog and it feels like a time sink or a chore, then it might not be for you, or you could be spending more time on it than you really should. This also means that the time and energy you have to dedicate to a kink blog is going to fluctuate. You might pop off one week and not log into it at all another, and that's okay. You should run it at the pace you enjoy. This also means when you feel a dip in sex drive and the kink stuff isn't hitting like it usually does, take a break so you don't burn yourself out.
Queue is your friend. As are tags. Honestly 1 post a day works wonders, cause you can load up around 15 posts at once and be covered for a couple of weeks. Having a solid and consistent tag system for yourself is also great. You don't need to overload it with specificity, but have some for different kinds of media (writing, video, gifs, audio...) is helpful, and being able to tag different facets of your kink is great for when you OR your followers need to scratch a specific itch. Like for me and my preg kink blog, whether the belly is bare or not, if there are lots of stretchmarks, if it's fpreg, mpreg, or nbpreg... all good things to keep sorted. Also try to keep the meaning of your tags really obvious (that sounds like a no-brainer, but I used to use a tag meant for when clothes were too small for a bump, but it just came off as me complaining that the belly was too small, which actually resulted in me need to talk to an artist to get a block lifted, oops!)
Related to the above, if you produce original content, be it art, writings, audio, whatever, have a tag for that too. Makes sifting through your original stuff and reblogs much easier, and lets people find your stuff even just searching tumblr wide.
LABEL. EVERYTHING. AS. MATURE. If you're running a kink blog, minors should not have any way to see it, and the easiest way to do that is to slap a "sexual themes" label on it. Covers your ass and keeps people who should not be able to look from looking. Even if the kink is pretty innocuous, it's best to play it safe.
Pinned posts are especially useful for kink blogs for setting boundaries, and telling newcomers what they'll see right off the bat. It doesn't need to be enormous, but just a little intro and a list of expected kinks someone will find on your blog helps keep people informed so they know whether or not to follow.
Don't be shy about blocking people. If someone posts stuff that makes you uncomfortable or is being shitty, just block em and move on. On the flipside, respect other people's boundaries, and remember that if you find yourself blocked by someone, remember it might not even be personal and just be a blog content thing.
If you do make kink content involving yourself, like pics or videos, protect your identity. Just play it safe, don't show your face and obscure identifying tattoos. Odds are low it'd come back to be a problem, but they're not 0, so just play it safe for yourself. Both for potential work/career hang ups and to minimize stalking or doxxing.
I'll reblog with more later if I think of it. I know half of this applies to blogs in general, not JUST kink blogs, but other than there being inherently sexual content, they're not that different. Please send any follow up asks if you have further questions, and if you decide to start one, good luck and have fun with it!
#i realize now most of this isn't exclusive to STARTING a kink blog and is more about running one#but if you don't start some of this stuff early going back to fix it is a pain so best practice is to just start off doing it right#also forgive me for any spelling mistakes I'm very tired but I needed to answer this ask before it waited any longer#long post#not bellies#advice

The stark contrast between how artists feel and how fans feel about a particular situation is so well done in I Was Born For This. Kudos to Alice.
Jimmy Kaga-Ricci (artist's pov):
‘We do know you, Jimmy! And we love you!’ they call after me, but even though they meant it in a nice way, it still terrifies me; it terrifies me that they all believe that what they feel for me is love. God, what have I done? What have I done to them?
Angel Rahimi (a fan's pov):
I love him. I don’t know how else to describe the feeling I have for Jimmy Kaga-Ricci. It’s not a crush. Not infatuation. I mean love in the ‘I will think about you every day for my whole life’ sense. Love, like the desperate ache to hold on to something useless, even though you know that if you threw it away, nothing would change.
and then again with,
Jimmy Kaga-Ricci:
The screams mean that they are very happy that we are here. I focus on the air a few metres ahead of me so that the hoard of fans goes blurry. We are standing at one end of the room and the fans are gathered in a roped queue that winds all the way around the room. I smile at the blur and salute at them, the things I always do. I faintly register Rowan waving on my right and Lister waving on my left. Lister calls out, asking them how they’re doing, but they just scream back at him. Lister says we’re looking forward to meeting them and we’ll be just behind this curtain and he hopes they’ve been having a good day so far and he hopes they’re looking forward to the concert tonight. And then we are turning away and walking behind the curtain and my smile can drop and once we’re totally out of sight Rowan is squeezing my hand but I’m gone, I’m already gone, I’m up above the three of us and gazing down at the three bodies and wondering who on Earth decided that these three pathetically flawed human beings deserved so much worship. Then the first girl appears from the other side of the curtain and she is so happy. And we are so happy to meet you. Have you had a good day so far? Would you like to take a selfie?
Angel Rahimi:
They are so happy. They look so much happier than they do in photos. Jimmy’s smile is so wide – a youthful, dreamlike grin – as he gazes over the crowd, almost surprised even, surprised and happy that so many people would want to come here to see him. He’s wearing a hoodie with Donnie Darko on it. God. I love him. I love him. Rowan’s smile is close-lipped but there is light in his eyes and he looks proud, so proud to be here, so proud of all the things that he and his two best friends have achieved throughout their lives together. Lister is the one doing the talking this time. I’d hoped it’d be Jimmy, but I don’t mind really, not when Lister looks like Paradise itself, glowing, warm and alive. They are so beautiful. How could three people so beautiful exist in a world like this? Once I have looked at them all separately, I look at the trio together. There is something inexplicable tying them together. Rowan and Lister stand symmetrically waving, Rowan always on Jimmy’s left and Lister always on Jimmy’s right. Both that little bit taller than Jimmy, who is the heart and the centre of The Ark. Rowan and Lister revolve around him like the three make up a solar system. I feel an inexplicable fear of them separating. Imagining them on their own is impossible. Then they disappear behind the curtain. And all is right in the world.

Was gonna make this a fictive culture is post to queue but then decided I wanted to make a long thing tw: anti endo mention
Sometimes fictive culture or even just Introject culture is something negative happening related to the source and headmates not showing up till after the bad feeling subside by time
By this I mean that and I don't talk about this often but when we first realized we were a system we were eventually presented with telling our friends, sure there is always the option of not telling they aren't owed that information but for better or worse we hate being friends with people that don't know? We hate hiding ourselves and not being able to be friends with people as individuals rather than a collective. We were horrified and while it went well for the most part, the system I already knew was thankfully supportive of endos and another friend even shot back with a same! There was one friend that wasn't supportive a singlet that was firmly anti endo and one of my best friends at the time. We met on a kin server both being tf2 kin though after realizing we were a system those tf2 kins were for sure not kins. We were both huge fans and would create things for each other fanart, writing. It hurt a lot losing them and even if we didn't have solid proof we knew we had tf2 headmates could feel them even if we couldn't interact with them. It's been nearly two years since then, and they fronted for the first time since learning we were a system in September of last year just a few months ago and we were ecstatic. Just felt like a sign we were healing and we were getting truly comfortable in our shared reality and it felt so nice knowing they weren't trapped any longer we have names and faces to people we couldn't reach for so long and it makes us genuinely so happy to see them on our sp and see their chat messages we can also look at tf2 content without being sad anymore? We can enjoy something we lost for a really long time and I don't know I just wanted to share that with y'all? Things hurt but it lessens over time, if you lost a joy you may be able to enjoy it again one day, if you are worried about a headmate they may return to you one day, if you are that headmate from a source the body has bad memories of know that you will still be missed that you are still wanted and your sysmates will smile and cry and hug you if you returned from disappearing. Sometimes we still miss them, especially one of our tf2 crewmates but we are all much happier knowing they aren't in our life and we aren't trying to fit into their box of what is and isn't okay. Even if we did end up being mostly traumagenic traumaendo the endo part is still so important to us and we and all of you deserve people that accept and love those parts of you too.
#on a lighter note with less ups and downs what reminded us of this and inspired us to make this post is we have a new Dream fictive#“new”#we suspected awhile ago we had a few hiding around somewhere since we felt three separate dream vibes nearly a year ago and only one really#figured itself out tho we did think possibly the other vibes were just other members since we were fairly blurry at the time#but with Wish here as well now were fairly sure the third vibe isn't far behind#for those that know im sure i dont have to explain why there are some negative feelings with their source#we dont regret getting into it and we love our headmates but oof there is a reason we don't interact with it now just just so much drama#fictive rambles#endo safe

Hi, um I have a Chorus related question! I was wondering if you have any plans for updating the web page? I know you have a pretty busy time rn, and it says that website is under construction, so I really don't mean to rush you. I just couldn't find the info about it, and reading Chorus on web is my fav place to read it <3
Hi, originally I had no plans, but seeing as you're the second person to bring it up with me I feel like I SHOULD do something about it!
For some context, the website I currently use to host CHORUS (https://arsquare.art/manga/chorus/#p1) is a website that a friend built for me completely from scratch. I put in a lot of requests for what I thought a good web manga reader should have ("it needs a dropdown chapters menu!! you need to be able to scroll through it by pressing arrow keys!! if you click the image you should be able to see a bigger version of it!!") but the part that kept tripping us up is the update function.
Long story short I couldn't directly edit what went onto the website, everything is placed in a Google Drive that the website periodically checks (every Tuesday and Friday at Some Time), and because it was built from scratch there were a lot of peculiar issues that kinda popped up with it (old pages not updating even when the Drive file is changed, busted queue system that I can't pause or schedule, etc. etc.). My friend had just been working on it for fun, and when she got busy with her job I didn't really have the heart to bother her about it.
ANYWAYS all this to say that I've updated the Drive folder that all the images live, so whenever the website does the Tuesday-Friday weekly update all the pages should be up!!
I can certainly try to keep things up to date on the website to the best of my ability, but I suspect I might be an update behind every so often.
Thanks for getting me off my ass about this!!
#just thinking thoughts...#asks#wojtekaneko#LOLLL MY FRIEND WAS VERY FLATTERED THOUGH... building a nice and functional website for real! ! !#OMG ACTUALLY ASTUTE FOLLOWERS OF MINE MIGHT KNOW HER. she's the firestar493 from posts for firestar493 LMAO#but yeah. I just gotta be more on top of it. like it can be done#I JUST DIDN'T KNOW IF LIKE. ANYBODY WAS USING IT. LMAO

Charles Augustus Milverton pt 2
We return to The Worst.
“You would not call me a marrying man, Watson?” “No, indeed!” “You’ll be interested to hear that I am engaged.” “My dear fellow! I congrat—” “To Milverton’s housemaid.”
Holmes.
Holmes... did you...
Did you fucking seduce some poor woman just to get information?
“But the girl, Holmes?”
Thank you, Watson!
“You can’t help it, my dear Watson. You must play your cards as best you can when such a stake is on the table. However, I rejoice to say that I have a hated rival who will certainly cut me out the instant that my back is turned."
There's that, I supposed. But I am disappoint.
I did not remember this part of the story.
I seemed to see every possible result of such an action—the detection, the capture, the honoured career ending in irreparable failure and disgrace, my friend himself lying at the mercy of the odious Milverton.
You're acting like this is the first burglary he's committed, Watson. This isn't even the hundredth burglary he's committed.
Though I do appreciate this glimpse into Watson's anxiety.
“Yes,” I said; “it is morally justifiable so long as our object is to take no articles save those which are used for an illegal purpose.”
Watson ponders the nature of ethics and morality and contemplates the justness of the justice system.
A case of two wrongs making a right?
"Between ourselves, Watson, it’s a sporting duel between this fellow Milverton and me. He had, as you saw, the best of the first exchanges; but my self-respect and my reputation are concerned to fight it to a finish.”
Holmes: I can take him. Let me at him. I can take him!
Watson: Only if I come, too!
Holmes: NO! You might get arrested.
Watson: I feel like there are some double standards here.
"You know, Watson, I don’t mind confessing to you that I have always had an idea that I would have made a highly efficient criminal."
We know, Holmes. You talk about it all the time. One of your favourite things to say is 'if I were a criminal, I would be very good at it.' In the last story you told a police officer all about how you sort of wanted to be a burglar... and in fact are a burglar because you keep burgling places.
This is not a secret! It is the opposite of a secret! You would tell someone that you kind of want to be a criminal if you just happened to be standing behind them in a queue!
I'm surprised you don't introduce yourself as 'Sherlock Holmes, private detective, which is a good thing because I've always been convinced I would make an excellent criminal.'
Literally no one is surprised that you have a state-of-the-art burglary kit lying around.
And no one is surprised that Watson will make the masks.
"On the other hand, like all these stout, little men who do themselves well, he is a plethoric sleeper. Agatha—that’s my FIANCEE—says it is a joke in the servants’ hall that it’s impossible to wake the master."
I see no reason for this capitalisation other than Holmes shouting the word like he wants the world to know.
This is so weird.
The place was locked, but Holmes removed a circle of glass and turned the key from the inside.
He's not even picking the lock, he's literally cutting holes in the windows.
He seized my hand in the darkness and led me swiftly past banks of shrubs which brushed against our faces. Holmes had remarkable powers, carefully cultivated, of seeing in the dark. Still holding my hand in one of his he opened a door, and I was vaguely conscious that we had entered a large room in which a cigar had been smoked not long before.
Hand-holding and B&E, the perfect date!
We were in Milverton’s study, and a PORTIERE at the farther side showed the entrance to his bedroom.
Ooooh, it was capitalised because fiance is a french word... okay then. Sure. We'll go with that.
My first feeling of fear had passed away, and I thrilled now with a keener zest than I had ever enjoyed when we were the defenders of the law instead of its defiers. The high object of our mission, the consciousness that it was unselfish and chivalrous, the villainous character of our opponent, all added to the sporting interest of the adventure. Far from feeling guilty, I rejoiced and exulted in our dangers.
Watson:
With a glow of admiration I watched Holmes unrolling his case of instruments and choosing his tool with the calm, scientific accuracy of a surgeon who performs a delicate operation.
Too late.
I understood the joy which it gave him to be confronted with this green and gold monster, the dragon which held in its maw the reputations of many fair ladies.
Wow. This imagery is intense. Holmes playing on Watson's chivalric instincts really went deep, huh? A dragon with ladies' reputations in its maw. Watson's out there fancying himself a modern-day St George, I guess.
Then the footsteps continued backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards, within a few yards of us. Finally, there was a creak from a chair, and the footsteps ceased. Then a key clicked in a lock and I heard the rustle of papers.
Dun dun duuuuuuuuun
Cliffhanger time.
Now, I do think I remember what happens next. But still. Who has come into the room? Will Holmes and Watson be discovered and their career change into crime be cut off before it can truly flourish? Will Watson ever get over this simultaneous hit to both his competency kink and his chivalry kink? We may never know.
