Right before going to a brewery too…now her and Nico have to strategize how to not make it obvious because she can’t drink

no because theyre still locked away in the bathroom whispering about how theyre gonna bypass drinking - both with these massive grins on their face as they realize theyre having another baby !!

Ahhh!! What if her coach is recording her practice and there’s Nico in the back. You can barely make him out but when Blake pulls out the video he recognizes himself. Like he probably forgot about it until Blake shows him the video!!!

In my head Blake loves Valentine’s Day. Everything is pink and red, there’s hearts everywhere. Even before her and Nico got together she loved going all out for her friends.

Then her and Nico get together and she’s completely obsessed. The entire month of February she has to be wearing pink or red, she gets Nico a cheesy valentines card and goes all out decorating her apartment.

one of her favourite holidays !!! when she first moved to new york city and she made friends outside of skating for the first time, she took it upon herself to throw galantine dinners ! (she loves hosting so much its honestly her fav thing).

she decorated her apartment, made themed food and desserts (potluck dinner tho because she could not cook a full meal at 19), and planned a bunch of fun activities for her friends ! she still does the annual dinner after she starts dating nico, it just evolves to larger scale + more of the devs team being invited.

but yes, she lives for getting to dress up in reds and pinks. she makes thrifted garlands with vintage valentine cards and she truly just spends the month showering her friends (and nico) with love.

nico handles planning their valentines date night and blake goes all out with red nails, the cutest mini dress, la perle silk set, and more🫶

she also makes sure all the wags get bouquets delivered from the team... she takes her position as head wag so seriously

When do Blake and Nico move in together?

i'm thinking last year? they'd been dating for a year and both of their leases were up so they decided to move in together. blake was always staying at his place on game days, and he was always at hers during his off days, etc. so it just made sense for them to live together

side note: nico absolutely loved moving with blake. not only was her bed way comfier, but now hes got cool artwork, living plants, and of course living with blake was nice

Blake has a competition in Switzerland and she’s practicing in the same rink as Nicos hockey practice. Nico gets to the rink a little earlier that day—maybe he wanted to get on the ice a little bit before practice started, but there’s Blake practicing her routine. Nico’s in awe and ends up watching Blake’s entire practice.

her coach forces her to do extra practices because they arrived in switzerland a few days earlier than the actual competition so instead of sight seeing, blake was in a random rink in bern training.

nico catches the end, last maybe 15 minutes of her practice as hes coming for hockey and hes mesmerized !!! hes so impressed by how quick she gets up after falling, and just how skilled she is.

he doesnt catch her name or even speak to her at the time, because her coach was not leaving her side and was definitely not going to let her talk to boys (plus she had places to be)... but when they finally meet in jersey blake tells him about her first time to switzerland for a competition... and thats when he sees the photo of her from that mornings training. in the same rink he basically grew up in

Blake not being able to sleep and Nico stays up with her

"why are you so energetic right now?" he mumbles, rolling over in bed so he can lay his head on her chest.

"i dont know," blake whispers back as she smooths a manicured hand over his messy hair.

"dont," nico sighs, reaching his own hand up to push hers away. "if you do that i'll fall asleep,"

"you can fall asleep," blake laughs as she makes a pass through his hair again. nico gives in to her touch for a minute as his eyes flutter closed.

"no," he shakes his head, effectively halting blakes movements. "no i'll stay up with you," he tries again, this time sitting up in their bed.

hes on a roadie and he has to get her to FaceTime him so he can see what her cars doing. hes giving her directions on how to get her car to start again because shes literally lost😭 cars are not her strong suit but she is learning !

they're so rowdy when they're all together and since nico is very much the calm... hes basically responsible for everyones safety when they go out (very dramatic the siblings are usually fine) but nico doesnt mind because he likes seeing blake happy <3

My co-worker told me that her and her partner have been following the traditional anniversary gifts since their first dating anniversary and I feel like Blake and Nico would do the same.

Maybe it starts off as a bit of a joke but then it’s 7 years in and they’re both trying to find creative gifts that follow the traditional gift list.

it starts off as a joke but it becomes a really fun way for them to be creative and intentional with their gifts! their favourite year so far was their 4th anniversary, when they each bought each other these ridiculous fruit arrangements and silk sets

Blake and jack checking each other a little while they play some hockey and Nico takes it so seriously he’s like stop stop you’ll hurt each other

no because blake and jack are so rough with each other and it doesnt help that blake is competitive.

jacks literally using his full body weight to check blake into the boards and nicos just watching anxiously as everyone else around them doesnt give them a second glance. nico tries not to be the overprotective, controlling boyfriend but honestly theres moments where if he doesnt step in the twins will literally unintentionally hurt each other

sometimes their parents nudge nico to get him to tell them to stop

Don’t know if this count as as invisible string theory but maybe he watched the Olympics she was in and watched her win/perform or maybe she was at some hockey event for her brothers when they were younger and he was there too 🥹
