canto vii part 2

the Dulcinea fight is so cool. I like how she’s very support-focused, with two skills meant to buff her allies. makes a nice contrast between her, the Princess of the Parade, and Cassetti, the Prince of the Parade, who eats all the bloodbags from wave 1 before he fights you.

this is the first fight where chain battle has really mattered for me. in rr4 and against the Barber, I only ever lost two sinners at most, so I went into this with… two real backups and 4 for support passives. the backups were levels 45, 43, 35, 38, 38, and 30 (the two 38 were base sinners) and here’s how I looked the turn before the fight ended

8 deaths. There was a lot of juggling healing EGO but then Xichun went first, then Meursault, and I was thinking this was fine but then 4 of my sinners exploded on the same turn and I was started to think I would have to start over because even though Dulcinea was at less than a third HP I didn’t think any of my other sinners could survive that long.

Hong Lu was there from the beginning (“He’s basically immortal but I probably won’t need it,” I thought innocently), Ryōshū was 7th, and Faust and Gregor were 11 and 12. Level 30 Gregor went up against one of Dulcinea’s moves and she’s got an offense level of what, 55? so it was his 23-clashing Legerdemain against a move of hers that also rolled 23 on heads, and they clashed 5 times before Dulcinea finally flipped tails and it was sooo tense and then Hong Lu finished her off. It said Ringsang was the MVP but in my heart it was actually Hong Lu, who tanked 800 damage and was the only one to survive the whole fight. Also Faust used Fluid Sac so good for her. This battle WILL end in victory

i understand why the black parade (the concept) is seen as a force of good (the name has cool imagery and “to joinnn the black parade” is a #epic moment). force of good as in synonym to emo communities, mcr fans, the general downtrodden. gerard is still called the leader of the black parade as in “king of the emos” when the actual leadringer persona constantly berated “my chemical romance” lol.

i like the black parade as a false promise. to start, the black parade is special to the patient since gerard describes the concept as people being welcomed to death by their happiest memory, which is reflected in the beginning of wttbp. the whole song is a conflict btwn “though your dead and gone believe me your memory will carry on” and “im just a man, im not a hero”. it’s an uneasy song. like all these people are telling the main character not to worry about dying because they’ll be remembered but they cant accept that because they dont think theyre worth remembering. “i dont care”—“we’ll carry on”.

mama and welcome parallel in a lot of ways, from the parental figures to the HUGE sound to the multi-part structure to the adoption of specialty music (cabaret v marching band). even “we’ll carry on” is echoed, with the addendum “when our brothers in arms are gone / so raise your glass high for tomorrow we die / and return from the ashes you call”. this is what the patient (“im just a man”) would say after hearing the black parade, echoing the sentiment with venomous anger instead of welcome’s almost sterile tone.

the idea of a false promise comes from the parade being presented as what the patient supposedly always wanted: to be unashamed, be the saviour, be REMEMBERED. as represented by their father and questioned by the patient. so for them to go to war to be remembered (“you made us oh so famous”) only to be unfulfilled by that (“we all go to hell”) shows the failures of the black parade (also represented on disenchanted: “lifelong wait for a hospital stay”). it’s a welcome that no longer fit the patient, whose childhood whims were disproven by what they learned from life.

this is why famous last words is sooo satisfying. they create their own acceptance of death. “i see you lying next to me” with the people they love, “with words i thought id never speak” with self-acceptance, “awake and unafraid, asleep or dead” and with their own fucking words. “i am not afraid to walk this world alone” they dont need to be remembered. there is no parade, there is no yearning for the past.

and while the black parade buried them as they were still screaming, famous last words leaves room for them to stay alive. agency and dignity, in life and death.

I finally watched a ballad of songbirds and snakes and here are my thoughts!!! (movie and book spoilers below the cut!!!)

Overall I think it was a PHENOMENAL movie. Especially Tom Blyth as Coriolanus Snow, he was just incredible. The subtlety in his expressions, how he portrayed cool confidence as well as awkwardness that lies beneath… he was just WOW.

AND Rachel Zeigler as Lucy Gray!!! She was incredible and so charming!!! I loved her accent and the little things like how she’d call Coryo “gorgeous” and “sweetheart” I was scared they’d make her a typical Hollywood girlboss and I think I got maybe one or two glimpses of that, but for the most part she was just brilliant and an amazing singer too!

I think they adapted the book into a movie really well.

But here are some things they cut out which I wish they included: (there are some I’ll miss bc I’m rusty with the book since I read it one year ago)

— Clemensia’s fate. The last we see of her is when she sticks her hand in the snake pit and gets bit by the snake and exposed as a liar. But in the book, the snake bite literally has a physical effect on her like her skin becomes yellow and also her eyes, she starts growing scales, her brain is altered by the venom too. She basically becomes like a snake and they showed none of that??? In fact we never see Clemensia again??

— Arachne’s funeral scene. This scene was SO poignant in the book bc of how they paraded Brandy’s dead body and one of the things I remember so clearly and I understand maybe it was too gruesome but I really feel like it should’ve been included in the movie. It really really showed how the Capitol treated the tribute kids. I was really waiting for this scene and they never showed it so that was a bit of a letdown.

— They should’ve showed more of the exchanges between Sejanus and Marcus. They went to school together in district 2, and they REALLY should’ve highlighted this a lot in the movie, to show that it easily could’ve been Sejanus in his place has things been different. Idk I just felt like there was more to explore there. Marcus barely had any lines in the movie.

— The Covey was barely explored and introduced at all. Maude Ivory and the rest of them barely had a speaking line! I know the movie was very long so I understand they had to cut a lot of things out but the Covey was so important to LG’s character and it’s a shame they basically got cut out.

Okay and now I have a few good things to say. My favourite parts included the way they filmed the bombing of the arena in the beginning, with the shot of LG and Coryo and bombs just going off all around them. Visually it looked pretty cool.

Also the hunger games themselves were very interesting to watch! They were actually my least fav part of the book (the district 12 part aka part 3 was my fav in the book) but the movie made the hunger games so interesting! Loved it from beginning to end.

I just need to talk about my biggest problem with this movie. Now I’ve read the book and the book mad it obvious from the beginning that Coryo was… Not Good. But in the movie this wasn’t very obvious. My friend, who hasn’t read the book, literally was on Coryo’s side and thought he was justified throughout… I feel like the movie should’ve showed Coryo’s hatred for the districts more, his shame for being poor more, his hatred for Sejanus more, even his second thoughts about leaving with Lucy Gray… none of that was obvious in the movie. My friend thought the movie deliberately made Coryo look not that bad, which defeats the purpose of the book in my opinion. In the book, it’s always somehow made clear that Coryo is not good. He does good things but innately… there’s always something off about him. Movie didn’t show that enough imo. Like his possessive nature especially was never highlighted. I mean ofc Coryo gets progressively worse and he does have his good moments in the book too BUT the book makes it clear that he had sooo many chances to make the right choice and he just… doesn’t IDEK im scared no one is gonna get what I’m trying to say

SEJANUS is probably my biggest gripe in this movie. In the book, he was my favourite character. He was the only one speaking sense, the only one who was so passionate about how THG were wrong and how the treatment of the districts was wrong. In the movie, I’m so sorry but he came across whiny and annoying. He wasn’t being passionate like how I imagine him in the book, he just…. fell a bit flat for me. So much so that when his execution happened, it fell flat for me too. As opposed to when I read it in the book… you guys I CRIED and couldn’t breathe and felt sick to my stomach. Had they better highlighted how much Sejanus trusted and seemed to love Snow, his death would’ve had more impact in the movie. Idk how to explain it but I just didn’t like Sejanus in the movie? The acting felt flat, the guy was doing nothing for me… and in the book he was everything bc he was the one saying what all us readers were thinking!!! My friend who hasn’t read the book found Sejanus INCREDIBLY annoying too. Idk.

A lot of people said that the third act in the movie was too brief but to me it felt too long? Maybe bc I knew what was coming. I liked the ending, I think it was done really well. Exactly how I imagined it in the book. I also wished they’d showed LG and Coryo kissing more in the film. They only kissed once??? Whereas in the book they were always kissing??? And I wish they showed Coryo’s reaction to the first kiss, like in the book he fell asleep repeating the kiss in his head, likeeee idk I wish they’d have translated that initial infatuation better in the movie.

BUT APART FROM THAT.. and I know I’m missing so much more but I’m so tired… but yeah, this movie was really good, it was really special, it was entertaining throughout and I wasn’t bored even for a second!!!

I’d give it 8.5/10

Ivan Barbashev Traded to VGK at the trade deadline in 2023. Learned about the trade at the same time as his wife (she screamed in the other room). was very excited to play with petro again, since they're good friends. got headbutted by LT and was very cute about it. his little face when jack yells He's actually just. giggly in general. he was part of the 12 Knights of Giving and was VERY VERY cute about giving ppl their groceries for free. his face on this save is REALLY CUTE. He fell off the bus during the STL parade. this supports my theory that he's made of like. variable density. it's impossible to knock him over and yet he is SO fast and agile? it's fucking wild.

2. Michael amadio: UNDERRATED!!!! i love Ammo. based on getty, i think either he and nic roy have very similar schedules or ride in together bc they are almost always in walkin photos together. i'm just now finding this out.

I don't know a lot about him, because he's very quiet, but he's got really nice eyelashes and his face looks very soft. even his beard. even his voice is soft & deep. he seems really nice. just a cool room guy.

3. Pavel Dorofeyev: Dorothea!!!. Ok so this is not his actual nickname. I call him this bc when Dave Goucher says his name on the broadcast it sounds like Dorothea. And when Dave had Laryngitis, and he said his full name, it truly sounded like he said "pebble dorothea." this is his name in my head.

Dorothea is SO cute. He looks like a Tall Bitty to me, and i can't get that out of my head.

5. Brett Howden: Bread!!! Just a sweet young manitoban guy. Childhood friend of nolan patrick went through Tampa & New York before coming to Vegas. changed his play style to play with Mark. Was part of the 2018 WJC team, but hasn't been implicated in any crimes :(

Grabbed Marchy by the jersey and yelled "we did it we did it" when they won the cup

Jonathan Marchessault followed up with him after and said "oh i had to tell you, when i had my vision of winning the cup, we weren't wearing the white (away) jerseys. we were wearing the gold ones"

indicating that??? Marchy??? has prophetic visions?? and shares them with brett howden???? what the hell is happenign here i love this so much. (seriously this video has SO MUCH. keegan kolesar kissing marchessault on the face SO MUCH. jack and marchy beign sO romantic about Marchy's conn smythe win "I did it for - you did it for me." / "that's the best thing i've ever seen" and all the i love yous. I just. love them)

6. Jonas Rondbjerg - Ronny is just a really sweet, quiet HSK guy! he's not the main roster, so when he gets called up, he hangs with the guys he knows. He was best friends with Jake Leschyshyn before he got traded to the NYR.

Notable Guys who've been traded

Marc- Andre Fleury - found out he got traded on twitter. Known prankster. Everyone loves him, excellent but aging goalie who is going to retire after 24-25. After retirement, he's moving back to Vegas to live during the non-summer months. If he hadn't been a goalie, probably he'd have been captain. I love him so much and he tried to fight jordan binnington while he was on the Wild.

Reilly Smith - OG Golden Misfit, traded to VGK with Jonathan Marchessault. Jonathan Marchessault said of him that he was relieved when they got drafted / traded that wasn't scared to go to a new place bc he would know somebody. And when Smitty joined VGK for their White House Cup Visit, Jonathan said in the interview after "Everywhere he is is home a little bit"

Reilly started the Battle For Vegas, a charity baseball game during the summer, which is a great time which Jack Eichel took over since Smitty got traded. Said "What a time to be alive" with an absolutely blasted voice while on the ice right after they won the cup.

Max Pacioretty - Traded to Vegas after doing frankly a nuclear option with his prior agent (switching to Allan Walsh on draft day) because talks with Montreal had gotten so bad. was SO happy to be in Vegas. When Stone was traded in February, was kind of worried bc they'd been such rivals during their time in MTL & OTT respectively. but they were almost immediately complimentary of each other. They were best friends. Patch says that he knew, almost as soon as Mark came in that he was gonna be the captain. Which is WILD. Bc it had been almost 3 season without them having one. but Mark is their captain. He was right.

Ryan Reaves - is a GREAT room guy, and a WONDERFUL guy off the ice. Loves a prank. ate spicy chocolate. He's done B4V a couple of summers (he did it last year iirc) and it's just. Really sweet. A lot of these guys just. really really bonded for life during that first year, you know? Was VERY VERY good friends with the younger guys, Haguer, Roysie, Whitecloud, Keegan, Howden, etc. Went to a concert with Jack, Haguer, & HOwdy/ Also still does B4V and excels at it. Is a defensemen, but when we didn't have any forwards, filled in. I would know him by his teeth anywhere (very distinctive). adorable.

okay first of all i’m honored that you thought to ask me. second of all, i’m sorry i took forever to reply but i realized i didn’t have a list so i put one together lol

the otto motto (s1 e18) is the first time the idea of oliver being gay is mentioned

the walk (s1 e 20) is sooo important for cooper. first time we see his real personality instead of just his cool kid facade. also iirc this is the first appearance of “move on to your next point”

boo-who? (s2 e5) is pretty good for early oliver. it’s got his sass, some insecurities, a touch of scheming and ofc his iconic scream. cooper’s not in it tho.

blondetourage (s2 e11) is so iconic for them. the sneakers, the phone scheme. “i’m already riding bitch on your vespa.”

all coupled up (s2 e17) is their first big fight, so if you’re writing a fight/argument this is a good one. also some good cooper & katie moments.

it’s hard to say goodbye (s2 e19) is another one without cooper, but if you’re writing sad oliver this is such a good reference; he’s really well written and acted in this episode. the cgi tears take me out tho 😭😭

here we go again (s3 e2) has them work through conflicts and like resolve a fight without intervention from katie/greg. i love them <3. absolutely banger episode for each of them individually, and them as a duo.

enemies: an otto story (s3 e4) has a good oliver scheme, and he gets cooper in on it. cooper talking about tagging along to boarding school with him makes me feel things.

trust me (s3 e5) is the absolutely iconic scooby-doo halloween costumes/making out practice episode that every cooliver writer has written about. i think it’s the first time cooper is seriously brought into the whole “oliver might be gay” bit, but i might be wrong about that (i know cooper’s mentioned the first time it’s ever brought up, but i think this is the first time he really seems like a piece of the puzzle)

body image (s3 e6) again, no cooper, but very good for insecure oliver

mo’ money, mo’ problems (s3 e13) is also so iconic in my brain. idk how genuinely important it is to either of their development, but it means a lot to me. i can’t remember who it was, but someone on here posted a really good analysis of cooper in this episode and how he’s lying to try to get oliver to not go to the party, which could be useful depending what you’re writing. also this is the first time cooper calls katie and greg mom and dad :(

insta-friends (s3 e16) is another big fight for them, and also some serious cooper daddy/mommy issues. this one isn’t super helpful for individual oliver, but it’s great for individual cooper and their dynamic when they’re mad at each other

field trippin’ (s3 e20) is a much sillier, fluffier episode than a lot of what i have on this list. silly lil scheme gone wrong. cooper’s really only in the first like half of this one tho

a mom’s parade (s3 e22) ok so hot take i don’t really like this episode that much… you can do you is very queer coded tho so it’s going on the list lol

girls’ night out (s4 e6) is just so awesome. oliver’s really sweet towards the end, and it’s bcuz of cooper. cooliver/triplor double date mention!!! tiny touch of cooper angst. greg implying that cooper holds a similar role in the family to trip. just all of it is so perfectly cooliver. this is one of their best episodes imo

hip to be square (s4 e9) is the i love you episode!!!!!!!!!!!! them fighting and then saying they love each other!!!!!!!!!!! so interesting for their dynamic!!!

a very english scandal (s4 e14) is the one where the whole school thinks oliver is gay. the one time cooper denies being oliver’s boyfriend. overall very gay episode.

all is fair in love and war reenactment (s4 e17) is a good one for them supporting each other, but not enabling each other’s shitty behavior. really good for their dynamic, and cooper’s got some good layers in this episode

senior prank (s4 e18) ohhhhh they’re such big brothers in this one i love it so much. if you wanna write them as parents this might be a decent reference. also, not cooliver related but franklin is just so iconic in this.

vacation! (s4 e19) i’ve said it before and ill say it again: this episode feels more like a cooliver fic than an actual episode. so good for both of them as individuals, their dynamic as a couple, and how cooper fits into the otto family as a whole.

prom (s4 e20) is another one that i think is good for oliver as an individual and their relationship as a pair. also big brother cooper crumbs!! (they’re very small but they’re there and they’re important to me 😌)

graduation (s5 e1) is ofc so good if you’re writing some angst. seeing how they deal with issues involving them that seem out of their control. also more cooper fitting into the family as a whole <3

psych (s5 e2) is really good for later-seasons oliver and his need for validation. also supportive bf cooper :)

coupling (s5 e3) is the episode i show ppl if i want to get them into the show bcuz it gives such a good overview of all of the characters and their relationships with each other. more cooliver fighting if you need references for that. the couple coding in this episode is so intense.

kids these days (s5 e5) is sooooo good for their dynamic bcuz it really shows how they support each other without enabling each other. i love cooper so much in this episode. “our family” <3

mother’s little helper (s5 e6) is pretty good. shows off that no matter how much they’ve grown, they’re still just dumb teenage boys.

encourage, discourage (s5 e8) is soooo good for cooper fitting into the family as a whole.

the heist (s5 e9) chef cooper origin!!!!! oliver being a supportive bf!!! i love them!!!

getting frank with the ottos (s5 e10) is a big turning point in their relationship. once again, supportive bf oliver!! they’re so cute.

the election (s5 e13) i feel like their dynamic is a little bit weird in this episode (oliver’s like weirdly chill abt once again being confronted w the idea of cooper moving, but ig it’s bcuz he has his own stuff going on) but it’s so good for sad cooper/daddy issues cooper. this is definitely a huge one for cooper angst references

okok so this is a really big list. obvs i don’t know what the plot of your fic is or when it’s set, so some of these might be much more helpful than others depending what you’re writing. these are just my suggestions of the ones that stand out as important for them as individuals and as a duo. hope this is helpful!!!! i’m excited to read your fic if/when you post it :)

A Parade of Providence Act III

This finale was so good!

First of all, the animated cutscene (that we partially saw in the trailer) was awesome, it’s so cool seeing the characters using their powers like that (if only we could fly for that long with Wanderer 😭)

Then this whole thing with Kaveh, I’m so happy that he won the competition, but more than that I’m so happy that we saw so much character development for him in this single event.

Sometimes I like these events more than Story Quests for characters because we see more interactions with other characters and a lot of personal and emotional focus on them. This was sooo good!

The fact that Kaveh donated the money, but he still got something out of that card lol. I get him, sometimes it feels wrong to charge money to friends but that person may feel it’s unfair to get it for free so you have to accept their kindness too.

(When Cyno said that Alhaitham was in their hearts I actually laughed out loud, I didn’t expect such a corny line from him)

Like I said before, I’m starting to really like the Sumeru cast. Cyno is very funny now and has good chemistry with Tighnari, Collei is a cinnamon roll, Kaveh is so wholesome and his bond with Alhaitham is interesting and priceless in terms of humor. I had such a great time.

It was also good seeing Nahida, and I KNEW IT, she wants Kuni to go to the Akademiya and get an education. Oh my God I laughed so hard at his reaction, their relationship is another great one that I’ve come to adore. Another piece of development for our favourite Hat Guy.

It was such a good scene for them. We get some resolution on what happened to Kaveh’s father, and some kind of understanding between the two of them that feels very nice. Alhaitham is so hard to read, he has less emotions than a potato, but in the end you can tell he’s a nice guy as well.

Hi neighbour!

The aftermath of pride, as promised! It's a long story, so be warned!

I wasn't able to go to any of the earlier celebrations because I got sick :(, but I was well enough to go to the actual parade, and I was also able to make an outfit for it (artistic recreation linked at the end). Day of, I ended up going with my mam and sibling, and it was a little bit of a rush in the morning because:

1. My mam only decided to go last second (and also to drag sibling in),

2. It was raining,

3. And we had to get a bus.

Luckily, after missing the first bus, we were able to get the next one, and we got in about 10 minutes after the parade started.

It. Was. Amazing! There was so much colour and vibrancy and life from everyone, in spite of the (lashing, mind you) rain. People were so friendly as well! There were groups from mental health services, there were groups protesting the treatment of trans people in healthcare, there were support groups, youth groups, clubs, scouts, performers, people showing their support for Palestine and Ukraine, a mobile library, and so much I ended up missing!

At the end of the parade was "Pride Village" (which my mam found a hilarious name), where a bunch of the services marching had stalls, there was a shop, a quiet area for the nd folk who needed some peace and quiet (though I'm pretty sure it was just called that and they let next to anybody who needed it in), an area for all the Pride sponsors to show off (also the only sheltered spots, which made them very popular), a couple of food stalls (options, if I'm remembering correctly were standard fries/burgers/hotdogs, coffee/tea, some kind of Korean fry, a random assortment of food from Just Eat, rice bowls (I had these, they were sooo good), and a few other things that are escaping me right now), and the stage with a DJ and Sign Language Interpreter.

The first show was done by a drag queen whose name I could not find anywhere, and she sang several songs until she was interrupted by Palestine protesters who, in fairness to them, made some very valid points about the companies funding Pride this year. But their speech felt a little disrespectful to all the people who came to pride protesting for Palestine, as if it was written with the assumption that there wouldn't be so many people showing solidarity.

They were allowed to make their point, though, and the next person on was able to handle the topic and shift in tone with so much grace and respect. I was really impressed by it!

After that, a choir came on to sing. We were able to stick around to listen to one song (it was ABBA, so we had to) but it was still raining and we had a confusing journey home with how all the buses (which suck here regardless) had been diverted for the parade and the Taylor Swift concert traffic, so we ended up getting food and heading.

Even as we were leaving, we were still seeing people dressed up brightly and enjoying themselves and it was just so heart-warming.

In terms of outfits, I was able to get my makeup done the way I wanted to and it lasted the entire day as well, even with the rain! My mam let me do hers since I was still on the high, and that turned out well too (even by her standards). I had my nails painted to match, and here's the link to my outfit!

They loved it, jamming out to it. So they traveled around to places, agents now looking at them like damn girl this band fire. So, now that they were being asked to be touring they were like shit we like need a actual album (que I brought you my bullets, you bring me your love,, which it follows a storyline of two starcross lovers running away and getting gunned down) so that was like a first plan so they already had something yk? So yk they played around a bit (became friends with green day too) became more popular and so they then needed another album so (que 3 cheers for sweet revenge!! which is continueing the storyline to bullets, but its the guy needing to kill 1000 people to bring their souls to the devil so him and his lover can reunite) And their erm drummer was fired (Mark set gerards grandma's van on fire.. the grandma that DIED) so they hired Bob. But like he wasn't like in the band officially but he hanged around. So they like were like making a music video for I'm not okay (I promise) and Bob was just yk hanging around. They made friends with Bert from The Used (which they collabed with Bert in Prison) and so yk swag shit. So fast forward by a few months every concert Gerard Way like not sober at ALL so he did a bunch of dumb shit and it was getting really bad (like drunk+high all the time) this was also like a REALLLYY low point for Gerard so when they were in the Japanese tour he was like REEALLYY suicidal like their manager had to talk Gerard out of killing himself for a solid 4 hours until he fell asleep. So yeah, he lived, but it didn't actually help so he moved onto cocaine, overdosed on 2.5 grams of cocaine and this time he was like okay yeah I need help. So he wasn't doing drugs or drinking anymore. So yayy!!! Now, they were making a Helena music video, which was dedicated to Gerard and Mikeys grandma which was also close to the band (bob now in the band i think) so that was veryy emotional for them. Then they made newww album (black parade!!!! Which follows a guy that died to cancer and him looking back on experiences and shit) like IN a haunted house, the Paramore house I think. And like it was spooky, what they were going for so REAL!!! Like actually the first part of Sleep is actually Gerard Way explaining his night terrors when sleeping in the house. And yk, they were uber popular, having some of their most fun tours. They finally got a good van to travel in. They got bunk beds, a small studio attached to the van, yk the dream for bands. So more fun stuff, going on tour, Gerard getting into super hero and drawing shit again so then he made danger days!!!! Oh and Bob was kicked up three years prior because he's a fucking cunt. Soo that's also like the time he and Weezer did a collab but we don't talk about rivers. Sooo sigh then comes around 2013, March 22... the band break up.. weeping for 7 years and only having their solo stuff... okay 2019 and they get back together!!!!! nonnie i was!!!!!!!!! i was i was i was!!!!!! it was actually so crazy of a day and it was my first gp ever on top of that and i’m still buzzing thinking about it!!! i’m putting the rest under a cut because i rambled sm hahaha

i didn’t get to meet carlos up close but i did see him and the other drivers during the drivers parade and it was so cool!!!!! it was such a long day i had to leave the house before the sun even rose to get there in time for everything and i was sooo grumpy because it was so cold in the morning but by the afternoon it was so hot out!!!! melbourne’s weather is just another thing entirely.

anyway it was so so fun once i got some food in me. i’m genuinely so convinced (silly) the ferrari 1-2 win + verstappen getting out was for us because at the melbourne walk these GROWN ASS MEN in verstappen gear were being so rude !!! absolutely no decorum in a crowd, pushing and just being aggressive about getting to the front of the barrier, they were squishing this girl in front of me and i felt so bad for her :(( absolutely disgusting behaviour but they got their karma in the end 🤭🤭

i love ferrari fans so much they’re so funny the people in the crowd where we were watching the race (i got park pass so no seats :( but it turned out great anyway) were SO loud when carlos overtook max and even more loud when he got out 😭😭 they were sooo happy !!!!!

aaaaa it was such a long day i think it was literally one of the most full on days of my life ever second only to the time i had to fly back home and went through like three airports in 48 hours with no sleep. i slept for like 12 hours last night and when i woke up today everything in my body cracked when i stretched (ough) but it was soooo good i had so much fun <33 i literally flew in to melbourne the night before and flew out after the race it was THE 24 hours ever hahaha
