“Hun, what are you doing?” Severus whispered as he closed the door of your daughters room. He layed down on the coach next to you, putting a hand over your shoulders to bring you close, a smile spreading across your face, heart thumping even after so many years of being together. Severus looks down at your phone and his eyes turn to one of shock once he notices the photos he thought he’d never see again.

“You still have those? Thought you deleted them since it was like.. when we were 16?” He raised a brow and scrolled through the many pictures that had been taken in your younger years. “Yeah I just felt.. nostalgic. I’ve never deleted them off my account and I don’t plan to.” A chuckle leaves Severus’ throat and shows you the picture of him you took at the time you announced your relationship, putting it next to his face. “You think I’ve changed much?”

“Not really, you just don’t have your long-long hair anymore. We’re just 23 Severus, what were you expecting at this age? Wrinkles?” You flick his forehead and he winces sarcastically, giving you a dramatic pained expression. “You hurt me, darling.” He sits up and cups your cheek, pulling you into his lap with a sweet smile. “And I must say you’ve grown out of your shy phase and you do smile a lot more.. however I can’t say the same when were around other people.” You smirk, tucking a strand of loose hair behind his ear. “And you haven’t grown out of your constant teasing.” He grunted into your neck and embraced you to hide the small smile forming on his lips. “What can I say? I guess adulthood hasn’t quite kicked in yet.”

However your statement got cut short once you heard your daughters sobs, which died down just as quick as they started. A sigh of relief escaped your lips as Severus breathed out a laugh. “You were saying?” He whispered, looking deep into your eyes im which he could’ve gotten lost in during that very moment. He lifted you in his arms and walked with you in his arms to your bedroom, laying you down onto the bed.

“How about we.. get a bit more nostalgic tonight, hm?”

🐊 It was a mere few months after the Human and Fae war had ended, and it was obvious that, despite what the elder had said, Baul was traumatized from the constant bloodshed

🐊 Ever since it ended, he had begun taking small walks in the woods nearby to calm himself down from the memories of losing the young and old. From his childhood friends to even the ones that barely scraped 150 years old

🐊 During one of these late walks, he heard the cracking and squashes of sticks and wet leaves coming from ahead of him. And, in true warrior fashion, he gripped his weapon and stalked his way towards the noise silently

"I'm so sorry, my baby..." A female's voice said through the trees as the Fae came closer.

"Who goes there?!" He yelled, making the woman stand abruptly and begin running away as fast as her speed and legs could take her.

🐊 Baul began to run after her, but stopped when the curiosity of what she left there took over. So, he turned around and sprinted back to where she once kneeled. And when he looked down, he was shocked

🐊 A young Fae was there, wrapped up in a tiny periwinkle-colored blanket, it was fairly faded with your bright colors. Your small white and black horns were a tell-tale sign of your heritage, but what was more of a sore thumb was your high-levels of paleness, you were far brighter toned than other Faes nearby

🐊 You had to be a Tundra Fae, which was odd. That sub-species was very hard to come across, since they were seen to make up a large section of most first-fighting armies, meaning they passed far faster than other kinds

🐊 Baul kneeled down and looked at you with a glossing of despair in his eyes, who in the name of Twisted Wonderland would leave such a vulnerable Fae, nonetheless one that couldn't be that much older than a few years. Perhaps around a few months in human terms

🐊 Instead of leaving the youngling in the woods or leaving it at the nearby orphanage, Baul looked into the tiny (E/C) eyes that faded into black and smiled gently. You reminded him of his daughter when she was a baby, with such innocence in her eyes. Maybe raising another wouldn't be so bad...

⚡ Sebek has admired you for the 16 years that he has been alive. From the way you defended your family if offended in any way to the way you seemingly got along with everyone that you met, it was all just amazing to witness

⚡ He hates himself for his human half, so having a family member that can sit by his side and speak of how they felt knowing that they were far from related to the people once considered family, it was nice to know that not only he felt like the oddball in the family to his Grandfather

⚡ Speaking of his Grandfather, as his adoptive child, you were held in very high regards by others. From his now-deceased wife, to his biological daughter, her human-husband, and their shared children, you were always beloved. Especially when he had first brought you home all those years ago

⚡ You were also fairly young for Fae, reaching at 170 years old. In human terms, you would be around 17. With such youth, you grew up being babysat by your older sister and father's best friend, Lilia Vanrouge, who adored you to pieces

⚡ Since you were so young, Sebek, whom was your technical nephew, was shocked to see just how close you got to his 'Wakasama'. It was not like he was to yell at you like he did others, you were his family, nonetheless his aunt/uncle, he respected you highly

⚡ But, every time he saw you laugh freely with Malleus, he couldn't help but wonder if you did have some kind of special bone with the future ruler of Briar Valley

⚡ As you grew up and helped raise Sebek well, you understood how he thought far better than other people in your family. You would sit by him almost every night and let him relax alongside you, inviting the others like Malleus, Lilia, Silver, maybe even the new magicless human from time to time for extra companionship

⚡ Sebek also protects you the same way he does Malleus. Anytime he sees/hears someone disrespect you, he yells at full volume about how 'repulsive' and 'self-hating' they must be. One time, he had found a Diasomnia third-year speaking about how you must be using your title to get you through College, and oh boy did he regret saying that

⚡ He had told Lilia about the words, leading the elder Fae to grit his teeth in a smile before telling his son and son-figure to get ready for a small interrogation, War Style

⚡ He also enjoys to see you train against others. You were raised by a former soldier, so fighting was in your 'blood', in a way. The way you gripped a spear and readied yourself whilst kicking away and dodging every upcoming hit coming from your uncle figure just made stars appear in your nephew's eyes

“Faith, sit down in your seat please.” I warned my daughter who was basically bouncing up and down in the passenger seat while I was driving the truck down the driveway on my way to take her to see her father since I felt bad they hadn’t gotten to spend time together since I had left him.

She sent me a half smile that only lasted about a second before she squealed. “I’m going to see daddy. I’m going to see daddy!”

“I wish I still had your energy, kiddo.” I shake my head, chuckling with the rest of the drive was easy enough with us parking outside the main house. Getting out first I opened the door and unbuckled her seat before she climbed over my body seeing her father coming down the steps.

Kayce barely caught her body in his arms. “Daddy!”

“Woah. If you get any bigger girl you might have to start carrying me.” He chuckled holding her up on his chest grinning up at her.

Leaning my back against the side of my truck once I had shut the passenger door. I felt bad for keeping them apart but I wasn’t sure I could let my heart fully care for the youngest son as easily as I had at 17 years old. “I’ll be back before dinner to pick her up.”

“Stay momma.” Faith reached out with one of her tiny hands extended out to me.

Kayce teased with those puppy dog eyes of his. “Yeah, stay with us, momma.”

“Don’t call me momma, Dutton!” I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest.

He bites his lip before smirking at me not being able to not tease me, had been that way since we were teenagers. “Momma Lissa Rae.”

“Faith, jump.” I ran forward where she jumped out of his arms watching me tackle her father into the gravel driveway. She laughed so loud, enjoying the sight before her. I moved my hands over his body, finding his ticklish spots that I knew far too well.

Kayce attempted to grab my hands and stop me but he couldn’t stop cackle in laughter squirming underneath my touch. “Alissa, stop - Lissa!”

“Will you stop calling me momma?” I asked, barely pausing on my tickle attack.

He released a breath staring up at me before rolling me onto my back, pinning me down in the gravel by holding my wrists down. “I can’t help it’s true. You are a momma.”

“Our daughters, not yours.” I stick my tongue out at him.

He smiled hoping my nose was getting up to stand then offered a hand helping me up off the ground too. “I’ll get back later just you wait, Lissa Rae.”

“Mommy, why does he call you that?” Faith asked tugging on my hand closest to hers.

Kayce picked her up in his arms, holding her against his hip. “That’s her nickname, sweet girl. Like how Grandpa John calls you Faithy Rae.”

“What’s your full name, mommy?” She eyed me with the curious eyes of a child.

“Alissa Rae Lambert.”

She stuck her tongue out at me. “Don’t you mean Dutton like daddy?”

“Oh yes. My bad.” I ruffled her hair playfully making my way back over to get inside my truck knowing I should probably help my family out with their cattle since that was where we were living currently. “I’ll pick you up later.”

Kayce slightly turned his body towards me, stopping me from leaving. “You could stay for the day. I’m sure your sister can understand that you should have time with your family.”

“Fine, I’ll stay. But you owe me for a few nights of babysitting Kayce.” I pointed my index finger at him with a warning look in my eyes.

The evening eventually rolled around where the three of us were all sitting in the living room just playing old games because that was one of the things our daughter liked doing besides riding horses all day like her parents. Laying on the couch in the living room I just silently watched the two play rock, paper, scissors for I think the 10th time in a row. “Three. Two. One. Rock, paper, scissors!”

“Oh come on. How are we matching each other?” Kayce slapped a hand to his forehead with his other hand and his daughter's back coming up with Rock. The reason they had done ten rounds simply because they had thrown out the same option for half of the game.

Faith giggled, falling on her back on the rug. “We’re mind readers, daddy.”

“My little telepath.” Kayce crawled over to her on his hands and knees till he was hovering over her and began tickling her stomach. That was her serious tickle spot where she cackled out in a fit of giggles.

Running a hand over my mouth it hurt me to not tell him that I was secretly seeing someone else even though we were married until death do us part. I feel like even if we split up we’d always find our way back to one another because we’re best friends and that bond lasts forever. “Faith, it’s gettin’ to be bedtime. You better get your little butt to bed if you want to stay the night with your daddy.” I looked at the time on my phone screen seeing it was almost nine o’clock meaning it was already past her bedtime.

“Five more minutes.” She begged me for those puppy dog eyes.

Kayce raised a brow glancing over his shoulder up at me where I gave him a silent look that he knew I meant business. “Not tonight, Rae Rae.”

“But daddy.” She whined with a sad expression.

He rose to his feet helping her up to her feet gently pushing her towards the hallway where her bedroom was and thankfully she listened to his order. “Not but’s, Rae Rae. You gotta get some sleep if you want to go riding tomorrow like we talked about.”

“Goodnight baby girl.” I kissed her forehead when she passed me and waited till I heard the bedroom shut before I went in the direction of the front door to grab my coat and boots to leave. “I’ll pick her up after I help my sister put some new saddles on our horses.”

“So we’re just not gonna talk about us before you leave huh?” My husband asked seeing me slip the sleeves of my coat on, keeping my back facing him the whole time.

“What exactly is there to talk about, Kayce.”

He sighed heavily, dropping his hands down at his sides in frustration. “You just pack up all your things and go back to your family's home. You take our daughter away from me and refuse to talk to me for longer than a few seconds. I want to know why.”

“Kayce, I’m not keeping your daughter from you. She’s sleeping down that hallway right now. So I don’t see the real problem you’re talking about.” I slowly turned around on my feet to face the rancher with my hands on my hips.

“I want you to explain what we truly are and why I saw you kissing one of my fathers ranch hands a while back.”

Taken back by his statement I knitted my brows in confusion and slight horror. “W-what. I haven’t been seeing anybody else. Why would you say such a thing?”

“Don’t lie to me, Alissa. I know you and Ryan are hooking up.” Kayce snapped sharply back at me. “I came over to your parents house after work and saw you making out in the living room.”

Completely changing my demeanor I ran my hands down my face snapping back at my best friend. “You've been spying on me then, Dutton. I can't believe you would do something like that. I'd never do something so hurtful to you!”

“Oh you mean cheating with another guy behind my back.” Kayce shouts back at me, stomping up to me until there’s barely any space left between us. “I’ve been thinking that we were still in this together. But apparently, we’re not in the same marriage that I thought we were in.”

Leaning up on my toes I pushed my nose against his, intensely staring into his chocolate brown eyes. “We haven’t truly had a marriage, Kayce. I became your wife but you’ve spent more time with Monica then me and I know why cause I have your family and my own whereas she didn’t have much. Your mother raised you to be a good person.”

“I’m gonna try to be better, to do better, Alissa.” He spoke down to me until I slapped him across the face, holding the side of his burning cheek.

“You say you’ll do better but I can’t believe anything you say anymore. When we were teenagers you promised me that we would always be together and protect one another. Our families revolve around each other and live the same lifestyle. Except looking at you now all I want to do right now is get as far away from you as physically possible.”

My best friend softly asked me a question I wasn’t expecting to come out of his mouth. “Are you saying you don’t love me anymore?”

“I honestly don't know.” I breathe out heavily, dropping my shoulders. “I don’t hate you but I’m not sure I love you anymore.”

Kayce blinked through some tears that had slipped out when the words came out of my mouth. “I think - you should go.”

“Kayce, I didn’t mean it like that-“

He held up his hands ordering me outside without another word. “Just go Alissa.”

“I’m - I’ll see you in the morning.” I muttered slipping out the front door and to my truck. Slamming the drivers door closed I hit my hands on the steering wheel, heavy tears I began sobbing not thinking this would be how my night ended.

THEY MEAN THE WORLDDDDD TO MEEEEEE for some reason a lot of people in the fandom don't play Ace Attorney 5 which is fair since it's kind of messy BUT. BUT. IT INTRODUCES ATHENA AND DOES SOOOO MUCH FOR THE WRIGHT ANYTHING AGENCY. In AA4 we learn that Trucy Wright made the Wright Talent Agency into the Wright Anything Agency in order to bring Apollo in as a lawyer when before it was just her (a magician) and her adopted father Phoenix (a poker player). and AA5 is all about Athena joining and Apollo learning how to trust her, at least it is to ME. they're so gooddddd aaaaaaa like you've got Phoenix and Trucy who are weirdos who love to scheme and you've got Apollo their longsuffering guy who deals with it all, and Phoenix is the mentor... and then Athena comes in and she has a lot of light and determination and trauma (just like the rest of them lol) and she's SO determined and I like her a lot!! And Trucy is my favorite and Phoenix cares about her SO much but he also has his other found family in the Feys!!!!!! Mia dies in the first game but her ghost stays with Phoenix and her sister/cousin Maya and Pearl are SO IMPORTANT TO HIM he loves them so much that's his sisters to me ;-; he would do anything for them and Trucy and he's growing as a mentor to Apollo and Athena too as the game progress... They don't write them all perfectly but they sure do a lot of things I like :) also feel free to split this up into their Wright Anything Agency or Phoenix + the Feys or Phoenix + Trucy if you need to I won't mind I just love AA's found family a lot

Picture this. You are a attorney in your mid 20s and somehow find yourself surrounded by weird little girls with every case you take on. You officially adopt one but really, all of them are either sisters or daughters to you. Especially your loud, burger-loving lesbian sister. Your childhood friend turned rival turned lover, who has a whip-wielding adoptive sister of his own, goes on a series of investigations while messing around with a furry for a couple of weeks and returns with two 17 year old children, a thieving lesbian and a child with a narcissistic murderer for a father who should've kept him back in school a few grades. Your lover has each of them under an arm, and they are appended to your stable of weird little girls but are very much hidden in the back. Then you find out that your daughter, the official one, has a 22yo trans half-brother with a musical diva mother and was half raised as a prince in Khura'in, so you divorce his boss (who is not your official lover, you just had a weird thing for a while when you were in your alcoholic phase, maybe while your actual lover was still messing around with the furry) very publicly while sending him to prison for murdering your daughter's father. Oh, but you have been disbarred, so you make your daughter's son send his own boss to prison, by planting false evidence on him. Of course the young man punches you in the face. Needless to say he works for you for a couple of years and never finds out that he's related to your daughter because that would require a straightforward conversation, now wouldn't it?

Theyre very weird and misteruous and kinda fucked up a bit and they were through a lot but phoenix did his best and trucy well she's still just a kid but oh she's trying so fucking hard and always trying to wear a smile and it's breaking my heart the two of them. Ace Attorney has some wonderful found families, but this one's particularly special because of their circumstances. An exchange student and his unhinged weirdgirl assistant from Japan feeling so out of place in turn-of-the-century Great Britain, yet finding a completely batshit insane family during their time there...it's just so <3 <3 <3 Also Ryunosuke calls them "the greatest family in the world" and it makes my heart happy. Also they commit lots of crimes

I'm sending my annual Actual Consequences Christmas ask early this year since I just got done reading the whole saga! :D The Cullens know about Fred; how does that go down? Do Em and Rose ever come to an agreement on surrogacy, especially if Carlisle figures out that the surrogate COULD survive? What about Esme? Have Leah and Sammy progressed to marriage and/or kids? Have more shifters phased--perhaps Jake's daughter Sarah? What's Aro up to, considering that the Volturi aren't evil tyrants but ARE amoral royalty? I'm just always so pleased with your creativity!

Fred is really leery of the Cullens (or really, Alice and Edward who go to find him) at first, since he was 'raised' in Victoria's army and they were painted as this super powerful, super evil coven, but the two talk to him, even if they can't see/look at him, explain their family, their lifestyle, express their sympathy about how he was treated by Victoria and Riley, etc. Fred drops his guard, asks if they know what happened to Bree. Edward grimaces and explains, but Fred is moved by the bit about Esme and Carlisle sparing her and trying to adopt her, and he agrees to meet them.

By the time Christmas rolls around, he's a friend of the coven. Fred was a science student, and so he and Carlisle instantly bonded. Edward is lowkey jealous, because not only do they relate as science nerds, Fred looks like he could be Carlisle's son (tall and blond). Edward doesn't really doubt his place as Carlisle's beloved son, but he's got the brain of a 17-year-old so he angsts about it a bit. Fred is super shy and introverted, though, and so isn't interested in joining the coven, but does show up for Christmas, which makes Esme happy because the thought of him wandering alone is too sad. He's attempting vegetarianism (and Carlisle's pride about this is another reason Edward is feeling jealous), but he's not doing it for moral reasons so much as having to interact with other people even to kill them was just ugh, so awkward and unbearable. Fred prefers being alone and hunting in the woods.

But Fred's still learning, so no humans at Cullen Christmas this year. They do FaceTime or Zoom or whatever with Charlie & Sue, Renee & Phil, etc. Also check in with Jake and his son, Will, who phased last year. Seth has been showing him the ropes and he actually thinks the wolf stuff is pretty cool, but was relieved that he didn't have to kill Fred (and the Cullen, now knowing that vampiric presence triggers the change, convinced Fred to stay clear of the area). Leah and Sammy are married and talking about having a family. I personally think Leah's fertility problems would go away once she stopped phasing, but in the interest of drama and honoring canon such as it is, perhaps it is a Journey for them and eventually they realize it has to be Sam who carries the pregnancy. They think about asking Seth to be the donor so that the child can be part Leah, too, but Leah doesn't really want to pass on the werewolf genes, so they get an anonymous donor instead. Night Lotus -1 Grave visit

Thea was in the cemetery, so lost in thought that she hadn't even fully realized it was raining. Even though the Drakes weren't her biological family, they had raised her, so on every anniversary of their deaths, she would go to the cemetery and pay her respects by staying there all day. She was praying with her hands together in front of her. The rain was hitting her body, but she wasn't responding. Suddenly, the rain stopped hitting her. A familiar voice said, "You should have brought an umbrella with you, Nix." Thea remained silent. The person behind her continued to hold the umbrella for her. There was someone around her age with long blue hair and a ponytail behind her. There was a tall person. He was quite tall for her. He was wearing a suit. He held the umbrella for her, not caring that he was getting wet. A man with green hair called him "boss." He handed the man a hooded cloak and another umbrella. The man took the cloak and put it on Thea. Then he took the umbrella. Tim mumbled a silent thank you.

Jason was a little grumpy today. They had learned 2 things a few weeks ago. The first was that the substitute was not a boy but a girl. The other was that she was B's biological daughter, no, he didn't discriminate between boys and girls and he definitely didn't discriminate between stepchildren. He turned to Bruce who had come to the cave. "Where is she? She disappears without even telling you. She never calls until almost midnight and you don't say anything," Bruce said. "Thea? Today was the anniversary of her adoptive parents' deaths. She went to pay her respects to them. She does it every year. She stays there all day," he said. Her clothes were wet as if they had been out in the rain for a while.

Jason was startled "Did you leave her there all alone? In this rain? Did she even bring an umbrella?" Bruce asked. "First of all, she can protect herself. And I know where she is. I know she's safe. Secondly, even though she prefers to be alone at times like this, I'm coming from there. I went to check on her and gave her an umbrella. But she wasn't alone and the person with her brought an umbrella." Jason said "Who? Cass?" Bruce said. "No. You don't know her." Jason asked "So you know her?" Bruce said "Yeah. He's not bad. A childhood friend of Thea's." Jason asked "A boy?" Bruce said "Yeah, he's a year and a half older than her."

Jason's eyebrows raised "There's something between them," he guessed. Bruce said "Not exactly. At least not yet." Jason asked "Have you met her?" Bruce nodded "She introduced me and Alfred a long time ago."

Damian said as they went down to the cave "who are you talking about" Jason said "shrimp's possible boyfriend" Bruce sighed "is that what you're calling him" he said with a groan. Damian said "wait boyfriend? who approved it? did she get it from her parents" Talia had joined the family for a while and had set her sights on Thea even before she moved in. She seemed to be planning on taking over. But Thea hadn't really warmed up to her yet. The ones she was close with in the family were Cass, Alfred and Bruce.

Bruce said "there's nothing really going on between them yet and Alfred and I met him a long time ago. He's Thea's childhood friend. They've known each other even longer than I did" Damian's eyebrows furrowed "is he a good fit for our family? And does he know who we are?" he asked.

Bruce said, "Oh, he's a man who has built his own money and his own place by his own fingernails. He's talented, skilled, and intelligent. He knows who we are but we didn't tell him. He figured it out on his own. He respects and follows traditions." Jason's eyebrows raised, "But what?" he asked. There was a but in Bruce's tone. Bruce said, "He's founded a very secret organization that even those who know know very little about. The organization of information and assassins. It's called night lotus. They don't do the second part unless they have to and they don't mess with innocents, but I can say that they're quite talented." Jason said, "Wait! What? You're putting your daughter with someone like that," he said, surprised.

Damian said, "I've never heard of such a group." A voice said, "Because it's a secret group. And no one finds out unless they want to. And they're also quite helpful." It was Alfred. Jason looked over and asked, "What do you mean?" Bruce said "There was an incident a few years ago. A group of Atlanteans and Amazonians disappeared there was a lot of chaos no one knew where they were".

Dick said "I remember that incident" Cass said Steph and Barbara seemed to have been listening to the conversation for a while. They were looking over there curiously. Cass said "I'll have to talk to your little sister's friend". Talia was squinting at Bruce in the corner. She didn't seem to be happy that this hadn't been mentioned before. A cargo ship would dock at a port in nature in 2 days and the cargo would be the missing Atlantis and Amazonians. When we found the ship. They were indeed there. But there was no crew. Just the Amazons and Atlanteans in the compartment. We followed the ship's course and such but there was no sign of any other ship or anything else. The captors confirmed that there was a crew on the ship at first. The ones who locked them up there were the ones who captured them. But there was no sign of them. Not a single sound of fighting was heard down there." Jason said, "What do you mean you're telling me they did it?" Alfred said, "As far as I know, the bodies are lying at the bottom of the ocean somewhere along the ship's course." They looked at each other in surprise.

17 year old Y/N Hotchner and her Dad were out running together, they were training for the FBI marathon together, the 17 year old had applied to the FBI academy where her Dad worked.

She wanted to be an FBI Agent and help people like the BAU do. It was early morning then the teen and Dad arrive at the park near their house, Jack was still sleeping which gave the father and daughter time to train for the big race in February.

Y/N tied her H/C hair in a pony tail while her Dad began stretching, Y/N looks up at her Dad "I will win you know" she says to him, this made Hotch look down at his Daughter and raises an eyebrow. "Oh really?" He said challenging her, Y/N smirked "you'll see old man" she said stretching.

Hotch scoffed "name calling are we now" he teased, after they finished stretching the two get ready the get into position and looked at each other. "Ready.Set.Go!" Yelled Hotch and the two were off strinting down the path trying to beat the other.

At the start they were running at the same speed, then Y/N sped up leaving her Dad behind, Hotches mouth falls open  a the fast his daughter is, the smile on her face seals it, Hotch was glad they managed to do this together.

The last time they ever ran together on a Saturday morning was 3 years ago before Foyet showed up and made the Hotchners life hell, two years ago after Haleys death he couldn't even get this daughter out of bed more so on a run with him.

He is very proud of her and hie far she had come, from that 15 year old laying in her bed for days on end to the 17 year old training for a marathon with her Dad, Hotch smiled to himself before running to catch up with his daughter, the look o  her face when he started to pick up speed made him laugh.

The two were neck and neck, Y/N fell behind a little as they got to thr end of the trail. "Annd finish" said Hotch stopping the timer on his watch, he breathed heavy after the run he did.

He turned to his daughter who had sprawled out on the path breathing heavy woth a bright red face, sweat dripping off her. Hotch chuckled at his Daughter and sat down next to her catching his breath.

He held his fist out to her, the 17 year old looked at him rasing an eyebrow. "Truce" he said moving his fist closer, he watched as his daughter smiles and bumps his fist with hers. The two then grab their bottles of water and begin draining them, Y/N poured half of hers down her because of how overheated she felt.

The teen Continues to lay on the floor while her Dad finds the strength in his legs to stand up. As he does a pretty brunette walks over to them. "Jeez, I hope you're training for something or do you just do sprints for fun?" She jokes making Y/N sit up and look at the woman  willingly talk to her Dad.

Hotch looks down at his Daughter who gives him a smile before answering the woman. "We are trying to do this

triathlon in February, so..." when he trails off she answers.him "Oh, yeah, the FBI one" said the woman

Y/Ns and her Dads eyes widened. "How do you know he's FBI" Exclaimed Y/N standing up quickly, probably a bit to quickly as she wobbled making her Dad reach out to catch her like always. Y/N looks at the man and smiles "I'm okay Dad just tried from our race" she said reassuring him, Hotch relaxes but doesn't let go of her.

The woman  watches the duo before Hotch remembers she was there. "I'm Aaron Hotchner and this is my Daughter Y/N" he said introducing his daughter, the woman smiles at them both. "Hi I'm Beth, nice to meet you Aaron and Y/N" saod Beth

Hotcb smiles at her. Beth looks at Y/N "are you doing it as well?" She asks Y/N, the girl  nods her head. "Yes I am, we were racing earlier to see who was fastwr" saod Y/N smiling at Beth, Hotch had never seen his daughter smile so much until now.

Y/N smiles before looking at her Dad ans whispering. "I go grab our stuff you stay here with Beth" she said giggling when her Dad blushed when she wiggled her eyebrows, Hotch glares at his Daughter and titles her making her laugh before letting go.

Beth watches the father and daughter she could tell they were close, as Y/N left the two began tlaking more and even exchanged numbers.

Months later...

It was the day of Hotchs and Y/Ns triathlon, the team and jake were in the stands waiting for them to finish.

"Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!" Yelled Jake and everyone else. The little boy was sitting on Derek's shoudlers in his ha s help a sign he made for his Dad and Sister. Rossi was in front of the group shouting and looking out for their racers.

Next to them Reid and the girls were talking, all three women had sunglasses on and all very hungover. "A couple hours. A couple hours. You guys didn't come home till sunrise." Saod the genius mocking them as the groaned.

"Why are you yelling?" Yelled Penelope over the noise groaning in pain.

Hotch then ran over the finishing line Y/N closely behind him the two come to a stop hearing the crowd cheer for them. "Whoa!" Exc the team. Y/N leans on her Dad for support, ber legs felt like jelly.

"Come on, Jack. Come on, Jack. Let's go see your dad and sister Jack." Yelled Derek letting the boy down, Jack then runs over to his family.

"You did it!" Yelled Jack and he ran over to Hotch jumping around excitedly, Y/N smiles painfully as she moves over to the girls, thw three congratulate the teen. "I can't feel my legs" she said smiling at them.

The teen then drops to the floor on her bum and laying on the ground hoping the world would stop spinning. Soon the woman realsi she passed out Emily quickly kneels down and pulls her up so she was leaning against her chest.

Emily the ge tly taps her face making sure she stayed awake. "Hey N/N stay away, you need to stay awake" he said as JJ called Hotch over and Penelope gets Derek to call for an ambulance. Seeing his daughter passed out makes the man run over to her.

"Is she okay?" He yelled over the noise, Emily looks at him worry in her eyes. "Don't worry she jsut passed out Hotch, Derek's calling for an ambulance" she said, Hotch thanked her before Y/N opens her eyes, E/C eyes stare into his brown ones.

Hotch smiles at her and rubs her cheek keeping her awake. "Hey Princess you okay?" He asked her, Y/N gives her dad a tired smile. "Yeah I'm fine dad" she whispers Hotch smiles at her. "I'm glad sweetie" he said looks around him hoping the ambulance come quick.

Someone the touches his hand it was Y/N, he looks dow at her. "Yes Princess?" He said, his daughter didn't look at him as if she was embarrassed, when she did speak Hotch had to lean closer. "Do you think mum is proud of me?" She asks his ans his heart breaks a tiny bit.

Hotch smiles a watery smile at his Daughter "Yes she is, because I am so proud of you Honey" he said wiping away the tears on their faces, Jake then jumps on his Dad's back. "Is Y/N okay Dad?" He asks worried.

We'll start before Diane disappeared. Rick and diane in their universe were able to successfully create the portal gun, so he already had a semi-working one by the time beth was 2. Both Diane and Rick worked to gain an income. When Diane disappeared, funds were cut in half, and since Rick didn't want to worry Beth, he got into shadier and shadier work outside his universe using the portal gun he made with Diane. Eventually, Beth found out like the smart girl she was. She didn't have too much to say besides to ask her father to be more honest with her. eventually, Rick got a job that would take him a while. He would be gone a month, at least. Years had gone by, so Beth was already 17. Rick trusted Beth, so he left. She got lonely after the first week alone. This is where Jerry comes in. He saw Beth's situation, and it started out with him genially wanting to help, but it turned more into a trying to get into her pants later one. Long story short, he was successful like most Jerrys were. But instead of getting an abortion or being a father, he used the excuse that his parents were moving away, leaving Beth alone. When Rick got back, he was shocked to hear Beth was already a week pregnant. He was ready to go murder Jerry due to his already bad reputation because of the gigs he djd, but Beth talked him out of it and said she wanted to raise the child. Rick, loving his daughter, wanted to give her a kid, but since Jerry was still out of the picture, it was hard to get a Morty, so Rick made one. You would think he would geneticly make the morty to be dependent on him to go on adventur, but no. They were actually a kinda normal family besides the adventures that Beth and Rick did outside of their universe. Until one day, Jerry came back. He felt guilty for leaving and decided he wanted to make up for his cowardly decision. Rick wasn't having it, but Beth was willing to give it a try. He does have a job, unlike other Jerry, so that's a plus. Fast forward a few years, you have the weird bendy family you have now.

meeting the parents-

“Mom and Dad! Your favorite is home!”

“Is that always how you announce your appearance?”

“Duh, how else would they know that the wonder child is home?” Y/n teases and flips her hair at Marcus who rolls her eyes back at her in return.

Y/n raises her eyebrows at her boyfriend who is struggling to get all of their luggage through door. She scowls at him and reaches for the two bigger suitcases, easily pulling them into the foyer.

“What’s up with your game, Armstrong?” Y/n elbows him in the side and Marcus gives her a small yet loving glare.

As they walk through the foyer and into the living room, Marcus notices the pictures and paintings hanging on the wall.

Many of them are of the whole family but some of them are of either two or three of the siblings or of Y/n’s mom and dad or two of the kids with their parents.

Some of them, that catches Marcus’s eye, are of Y/n over the years in sparkly dresses and tiaras and sashes. There are two pictures next to each other, one of them is of Y/n as a toddler wearing a pale blue dress and a tiara sitting perfectly on her head. The other one is of her as a teenager wearing a red dress and a sash across her shoulder and another tiara resting on her head.

“Y/n! Sweetheart you’re home.” Y/n’s mom appears from the kitchen and engulfs her daughter in a hug.

“Hi Mom,” Y/n wraps her arms around her mother and smiles.

“Who is this young man?” Y/m/n pulls away from her daughter and looks at Marcus who gives her a shy smile.

Y/n grins proudly some for reason and laces her fingers with her boyfriend’s.

“Mom, this my boyfriend, Marcus. Marcus this the fire breathing dragon I’ve been telling you about.”

Her mother rolls her eyes and playfully smacks her daughter in the arm. Y/n opens her mouth in pain and exaggeration.

“It’s nice to meet you, Mrs. Y/l/n.” Marcus lets go of Y/n’s hand and holds it out for his girlfriend’s mother.

“Oh please, Mrs. Y/l/n is my mother-in-law. Call me Y/m/n,” Y/m/n smiles and surprises him by pulling him in a hug just like she did with Y/n.

Marcus hesitantly returns the gesture and looks at Y/n. She gives him a thumbs up and smiles while mouthing ‘good job’.

“Your father will be home in half an hour, make yourselves at home.” Y/m/n says after she lets out of Marcus.

“Will do Mom. Because this is my home,” That comment earns Y/n a smack on the back of her head as she walks towards the stairs.

Marcus tries the lug the luggage along but gets stopped by Y/m/n.

“Oh no, no, no. Y/d/n and her brother will get it. Just make yourself comfortable,” Marcus gets gently shoved towards the stairs.

“It’s alright, I’ll just bring them up to Y/n’s room.”

“Don’t be ridiculous, they boys can bring them up later.”

“No really it’s alright,”

“Marcus, really, you must be tired from-“

“Marcus, just listens to her. Come on,” Y/n motions to him and he hesitates.

“I’m just going- Thank you-“

“Just go,” Y/m/n nudges him on more time before he finally leaves.

The couple can be heard laughing like teenagers who have just sneaked back in from a house party.

“Hey, Y/n/n?”

“Yeah Mom,”

“He’s a cute one,”

“I know Mom, I know.”

What drives me crazy with Dick Grayson is that literally he's only " " canonically " " like what? 24? 23? He was an only child at least until he was 18 and within literally the time of a bachelor's and masters degree he went from just starting as nightwing never had any siblings but a team who loved him and now he has no external support and is supposed to be the "glue" for a ginormous family that's developed faster than he could blink. Honestly I think while Dick loves and enjoys all his relationships with his family half the time he still feels like he wishes they were all friends and a little closer in age instead of him suddenly being in charge and cleaning up Bruce's problems not just for Bruce, but now cleaning up Bruce's problems which cause everyone else problems which cause more problems which inevitably he has to fix because no one else will

And 6ish years ago he didn't have ANY siblings! The whiplash is crazy. I think the fact that Dick would resent all this proves how much he loves them all bc he still goes to such lengths for his family despite his frustration and aggravation

hiya anon! i think right now, dick is in his mid-twenties, say 25 or 26... which is CRAZY bc in my head i am always picturing him as 29 or early 30s... but canonically i think he's stuck with the mid-twenties just like tim is stick at 17

also, i get the impression that all my posts about dick being in a kind of limbo of "eldest daughter" and also estranged brother-son figure to bruce has kind of given the perspective that i think he bemoans his position in the family, but i think he honestly greatly enjoys it! there really hasn't been many instances in canon, if any at all unless looked at with a severe magnifying glass, that gives off the impression that dick more or less begrudges the amount of pseudo-siblings and other family members he has come into quick possession of. if anything, i think dick probably takes a lot of comfort in being able to have so many people around him again, as i think what a lot of people miss out on is that dick didn't come from an "only child family" but a village (haly's). we get glimpses of his family life before bruce, and ultimately it forms a picture of one where, yes, dick was the center of attention because he was the baby of the troop, but also he was more or less raised in a huge family that consisted of people entirely unrelated to him- aunts, uncles, people he looked to as sisters or brothers, grandfather figures, cousins, friends; all of these more familial lens people that he grew up with until his parents were murdered, and he was suddenly taken away from

i imagine the shift to being surrounded by many to being surrounded by exactly two would have been very startling. and, like you said anon, it wasn't until he fully integrated with the titans did that sense of a bigger family really come into perspective for him. however, it is interesting that you bring up how fast it all happened, as i agree, dick essentially got- what? four or five new "family members" within the span of five or so years? like, that's a pretty big shift from being a trio (dick, bruce, and alfred) for ten years, adding very few people (excluding the titans) that he could sincerely count on or even recognize as family (barbara, for example), and now all within the span of a bachelor's degree, he's had to hand off his robin legacy to three different people. damian came a bit after everyone else had more or less settled, but he's a wholeeee other topic of conversation considering exactly what had to happen for him and dick to even meet the way they did

but, going back to the quick new additions, again i don't think dick has ever for a moment thought to begrduge or resent the influx of people in his life. i think a really defining part of his character is his love of people, his love of being around them. while bruce loves people, he loves them in a kind of distant way, where he sees gotham itself as akin to a person he can love- a person composed of a million other individuals, but an almost singular entity. the same goes for bruce's love of the world, i think. but dick, dick loves people as individuals, as persons he can speak to, hold, comfort, cry for, touch, embrace, etc. dick likes the physical presence of people, as well as the whole of humanity like bruce, and i think the defining line of separation for the two and how they love people, is how they grew up

circling back to dick's early childhood, he was raised not only surrounded by the performers, but also the crowds, the fans. dick grew up loving being loved, and though that may come off as superficial or a purely egotistical thing, i interpret it as something that is a soulful, very human thing. bruce can love humanity without being loved, and so can dick, but dick is also willing to embrace the love he gets in return. it's why, i think, dick is also known for having so many lady friends (donna, kory, and barbara being the most outstanding examples). dick loves to be loved, and he also loves to love, so to me, dick suddenly feeling trapped because of a couple new additions to a family that has been so small for so long doesn't make complete sense- i'm not arguing with you however anon!! just making my case that, even though i do think it's an interesting thing to meta-textually analyze, with dick being in that eldest position as well as the next "bruce" (oof, that's shudder inducing), it doesn't quite follow his character for him to wish that things might be different in their circumstances

The second Gabriel lays eyes on the young man, you know he doesn't like what he sees. 

Josh, as he introduced himself, holds himself with far too much confidence for an awkward 17-year-old, yet he tries to pull it off all the same. 

When he smiles as he shakes Gabriel's hand, you begin to worry.

Your own greetings are much more friendly than your husband's, as you're intrigued to see your daughter's choice of guys. Seemingly a little different from your own at that age. 

Motherly instincts take over, and you pull everyone to the kitchen, so you can get Josh a drink and see if he's hungry. 

"Mama, he doesn't need feeding." Your daughter sighs, seemingly embarrassed by your maternal display.

Gabriel stands quietly, watching Josh from the corner of his eye as he makes himself at home at your kitchen island. You quietly watch Gabriel, ready to mediate at any moment. 

"So Josh, I hear you're on the football team?" You mention, hoping to start the process of getting to know him somehow. Your daughter has been very tight-lipped about her boyfriend, even with you.

You can practically feel Gabriel's eye twitching as his brain makes all sorts of assumptions.

"Yes, Mrs. Reyes." He responds politely. "I'm a running back. Did you play football, Mr. Reyes?" He turns his attention to Gabriel. While you sense Josh is a well-mannered boy, you can see he's desperate to win Gabriel over. 

"Basketball, mostly, but a little bit of football too." Gabriel offers a forced smile, and you can tell he's really trying to adjust to the newness of this scenario while fighting all his papa bear instincts. 

"And please call me (Y/N)." You chime in, approaching your husband for a moment as you stroke his arm. 

"I'd be scared to see you on the other team for sure." Josh laughs good-naturedly. 

"He didn't always look that mean and scary, he was a lot dorkier in high school." Your daughter interjects, ignoring her father's scowl. "What? I've seen the pictures! Definitely not as big and burly as he is now." 

Gabriel crosses his arms over his chest, sending your daughter a playful glare. "Well, a life in the military builds you up." 

She rolls her eyes in the way she usually does. "Mom doesn't look like a tank." 

"I know I've let myself go a little, but I'm not that out of shape!" You gasp, pretending to be offended by your daughter's comments. 

"You're perfect, mi vida." Gabriel whispers, softening for a moment.

"Gross." She declares, her nose crinkling in disgust. "I'm gonna go change, okay?" Your daughter sends you a pleading look that begs you to keep things calm while she's gone.

She leaves the kitchen, and the room falls quiet before Gabriel fills the silence. 

"So what are your intentions with my daughter?" 

"Gabe!" You gasp, smacking him playfully. The poor boy was going to be traumatized. 

"Uh, I just really like her, I swear." Josh's smile is soft and genuine. "She's sweet, she's been tutoring in Spanish because I've been struggling, and I help her with physics." 

"She hates physics." You comment, knowing that the help would really be doing a lot for her. 

Josh looks somewhat nervous, though entirely truthful. "We just realized we have a lot of fun together." 

Gabriel simply nods. 

"Happy?" You ask, brow raised. Time would tell what was to become of Josh, and what his intentions were--he really didn't need the interrogation. 

"I understand." Josh offers. "My mom gave her a grilling too. She handled it really well, though." 

You chuckle, though your chest flares with your own protective streak. 

"As parents, we can't help but be overprotective." Gabriel adds. 

"Some of us are better at keeping it to ourselves, but my husband is a barbarian." You nudge him with your hips teasingly. "I'm not going to pretend to understand you men." 

"He's hardly a man." Gabriel comments and then is fixed with a sharp look from you. "No offense, kid." 

"It's okay. When I heard her last name, I knew that if I hurt her, I'd probably end up in a ditch... sorry." Josh cringes, realizing that's probably a little too blunt.

"I wouldn't put you in a ditch. Too easy to find your body." 

"Gabe!" You chastise, but the two are sharing a laugh regardless.

Gabriel is warming up to him, even if it's just a little bit. You know it'll take some time for him to truly trust Josh with your daughter's heart, but for now, it's a step in the right direction. 

"Uh, Mr. Reyes," Josh begins the conversation again. "I was actually wondering, would you have any advice for someone looking to join the military?"

"Don't." Your husband replies without missing a beat.

"Hey now, if we both hadn't ended up in Overwatch, we never would've met." You add.

"I suppose." He says, before taking a moment to think of some actual advice. You can almost see him slip into Commander mode. "Whatever ego and pride you have going in won't get you anywhere. Leave it for your civilian life. And get a therapist sooner rather than later. 

"Right, sounds good." Josh nods, a little taken aback. 

"You know, if you're still together through your training, it's going to make things really difficult. Being with someone in the service isn't easy, and my daughter doesn't deserve to be hanging onto some guy who just comes and goes." 

You cringe at Gabriel's harsh words, even if you're right there in believing your daughter deserves the best. "That seems slightly hypocritical of us to say." 

Gabriel raises a brow at you. "It's not the same, you were right there with me."

"Don't go giving them ideas." You mutter. "But, it was still hard, as all relationships are. You can figure that one out for yourselves, though, I'm sure." 

Josh seems to be absorbing the information. "Yeah. Thank you both for your honesty, though." 

"Are you sure you don't want something to eat?" You ask, practically desperate to offer more hospitality. 

"No, I'm okay, thank you."

"Everything okay?" Your daughter asks, returning to the kitchen with a skeptical look. 

"Everything's fine." Her father replies, yet she looks to you for confirmation. 

"It's good. I'm putting a pizza in the oven." You add. 

"Of course you are, we're gonna go watch movies." She says, tugging Josh off of the stool.

"Not in your room, you're not." Gabe adds, ready to follow them both. 

"Dad!" She cries. 

"... I just wanted to spend some time getting to know the kid. Cálmate, chica." He smirks. "Besides, if we're all on the couch, you can cuddle up between your two favorite guys." Gabriel pulls your daughter into him, embarrassing her with kisses smothered all over her face. 

She squirms, pretending to hate the attention. "Cállate la boca, papa!"

THEY MEAN THE WORLDDDDD TO MEEEEEE for some reason a lot of people in the fandom don't play Ace Attorney 5 which is fair since it's kind of messy BUT. BUT. IT INTRODUCES ATHENA AND DOES SOOOO MUCH FOR THE WRIGHT ANYTHING AGENCY. In AA4 we learn that Trucy Wright made the Wright Talent Agency into the Wright Anything Agency in order to bring Apollo in as a lawyer when before it was just her (a magician) and her adopted father Phoenix (a poker player). and AA5 is all about Athena joining and Apollo learning how to trust her, at least it is to ME. they're so gooddddd aaaaaaa like you've got Phoenix and Trucy who are weirdos who love to scheme and you've got Apollo their longsuffering guy who deals with it all, and Phoenix is the mentor... and then Athena comes in and she has a lot of light and determination and trauma (just like the rest of them lol) and she's SO determined and I like her a lot!! And Trucy is my favorite and Phoenix cares about her SO much but he also has his other found family in the Feys!!!!!! Mia dies in the first game but her ghost stays with Phoenix and her sister/cousin Maya and Pearl are SO IMPORTANT TO HIM he loves them so much that's his sisters to me ;-; he would do anything for them and Trucy and he's growing as a mentor to Apollo and Athena too as the game progress... They don't write them all perfectly but they sure do a lot of things I like :) also feel free to split this up into their Wright Anything Agency or Phoenix + the Feys or Phoenix + Trucy if you need to I won't mind I just love AA's found family a lot

Picture this. You are a attorney in your mid 20s and somehow find yourself surrounded by weird little girls with every case you take on. You officially adopt one but really, all of them are either sisters or daughters to you. Especially your loud, burger-loving lesbian sister. Your childhood friend turned rival turned lover, who has a whip-wielding adoptive sister of his own, goes on a series of investigations while messing around with a furry for a couple of weeks and returns with two 17 year old children, a thieving lesbian and a child with a narcissistic murderer for a father who should've kept him back in school a few grades. Your lover has each of them under an arm, and they are appended to your stable of weird little girls but are very much hidden in the back. Then you find out that your daughter, the official one, has a 22yo trans half-brother with a musical diva mother and was half raised as a prince in Khura'in, so you divorce his boss (who is not your official lover, you just had a weird thing for a while when you were in your alcoholic phase, maybe while your actual lover was still messing around with the furry) very publicly while sending him to prison for murdering your daughter's father. Oh, but you have been disbarred, so you make your daughter's son send his own boss to prison, by planting false evidence on him. Of course the young man punches you in the face. Needless to say he works for you for a couple of years and never finds out that he's related to your daughter because that would require a straightforward conversation, now wouldn't it?

Theyre very weird and misteruous and kinda fucked up a bit and they were through a lot but phoenix did his best and trucy well she's still just a kid but oh she's trying so fucking hard and always trying to wear a smile and it's breaking my heart the two of them. Also theyre weird i already said that but let me say it again they are WEIRD. and we love them<3 (the ace attorney fandom)
